Interview with Glenn Mullan, President & CEO of Val-d'Or Mining CorporationOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/val-dor-mining-vzz-new-royalty-story-emulating-recent-success-1729Recording date: 10th October 2025Val-d'Or Mining Corporation employs a prospect generation model centered on staking mineral properties 100%, conducting minimal initial exploration with an annual budget of only $300,000, then partnering with larger mining companies to fund drilling and development work. This approach reduces the need for capital-intensive exploration and limits shareholder dilution typical in junior miners. Their current major partnership with Eldorado Gold involves $36.5 million committed exploration spending across 12 properties in Quebec and Ontario. Val-d'Or earns revenues from this partnership via 10% management fees on Ontario properties they operate, option payments totaling about $200,000 per year, advance royalty payments, and leasing income from their office building.Val-d'Or owns over 50 properties in tier-one mining jurisdictions within Quebec and Ontario, focusing on geological regions like the Abitibi greenstone belt. Their strategic property acquisition targets gaps left between major players such as Agnico Eagle, who consolidated much of the region's geology. By acquiring and thoroughly evaluating properties with modest spending, they attract partners who fund detailed exploration, while Val-d'Or retains royalty interests generally targeting a 2% net smelter return (NSR). As partners meet spending milestones and vest their interests, Val-d'Or's royalties become crystallized, providing long-term revenue without the risks and capital requirements of full mine development. The company's President and CEO, Glenn Mullan, boasts a track record of three successful exits generating over $500 million collectively by selling royalty companies rather than mines. This strategy, combined with the current high gold price environment and the industry's demand for exploration assets, positions Val-d'Or as a compelling investment. Their structure maintains significant insider ownership for stability, while the partnership model minimizes dilution and exploration risk. With drilling commencing on multiple properties and over $36 million committed from Eldorado, Val-d'Or is actively advancing their asset base toward royalty monetization in a robust gold market. In summary, Val-d'Or Mining exemplifies a non-dilutive, prospect generation model leveraging partnerships to develop a portfolio of royalty-bearing properties with diversified near-term revenue, a strong historical track record, and optimized for current market conditions in Canadian gold mining .Learn more: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/val-dor-miningSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

“A classe média vai continuar pagando o pato. A tabela não tem correção desde 2015”, ressaltou.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Shakira BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Shakira continues to operate at full tilt, blending pop domination with strategic business moves and global philanthropy. Over the past few days, major headlines crowned her yet again as a chart queen—she won Best Latin Song for her single Soltera at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, outpacing competition from Bad Bunny and Karol G. But in classic Shakira style, she skipped the New York ceremony to deliver a sold-out show in Guadalajara, Mexico, part of her blockbuster Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. This tour, her first global circuit since El Dorado in 2018, was announced to feverish demand at Coachella last April and has already forced organizers to upgrade venues to accommodate the crowds. Spotlights remain intense—she's set to headline San Francisco's newly expanded show next June, a testament to her pull in both North and South America, with tickets flying from giants like Ticketmaster and AXS as fans scramble to catch her live.Beyond her stage prowess, Shakira's business savvy continues to stun. According to recent revelations from YouTube's deep-dive on celebrity fortunes, she sold her entire song catalog's publishing rights to Hypnosis Songs Fund for over $100 million in 2021, ensuring steady income while granting herself the freedom to invest elsewhere. Her entrepreneurial reach extends into consumer brands like High Brew Coffee and The Citizenry, and she's stayed agile, quietly venturing into crypto and NFTs before the market cooled. Between her lucrative deals and lean lifestyle—think private jet with a mobile HQ rather than flashy cars—she's a study in understated wealth management, with her net worth easily cresting $350 million by expert accounts.Social media has been ablaze celebrating her recent Mexico City performance, with fans posting viral videos that capture her signature athletic dance and breathtaking stage visuals. Speculation swirled about her relationships and Piqué's new real estate ventures, but Shakira herself has stayed above the fray, maintaining focus on her work and sons.Perhaps most biographically significant, Shakira is set to return to New York City's Central Park this September, co-headlining the 2025 Global Citizen Festival alongside The Weeknd. Global Citizen, Rolling Stone, and local outlets have confirmed that Shakira's appearance will blend music with activism, using her star power to push for energy access in Africa, rainforest preservation, and global education. Headlines highlight her as both performer and catalyst for change, a reflection of her evolving legacy as not just a pop icon but a philanthropist for a new era.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

This week we had the chance to reconnect with Rothstein Beatz for the first time since our first chat in 2021. Rothstein is one of the hardest working individuals we know and it was a no brainer to catch up with him about what he's been up to as of late! He told us about his recent shift towards focusing more on himself and his overall output as a musician and label owner. He cited his most recent venture as the host of Sheen Magazine's “The Vault” as one of his many new and exciting steps in his own evolution. This platform has allowed Rothstein to continue his support of independent artists by helping showcase their music videos on the show each week. Rothstein also gave insight on his most recent solo release, the beat tape titled “1979 El Dorado” and the projects that are in the works with his roster of artists under Casino Gang Records. If there's one thing that's always evident with Rothstein, it's his positive energy and infectious spirit that can help motivate any fellow creative and it was no different this week. We thank him for lending some time to get back in touch once again and we hope you all enjoy the conversation!Submit a demo track(s) for release consideration with Proven Knowledge! - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1l_h_XayHVqWIJHgTYyV5vGgThfRVEiBh8lw9SP8DrQw/viewform?edit_requested=trueConsider becoming a monthly supporter of the show by visiting the link here

For this episode, the Marys are on location with Rob Sinton, winemaker at El Dorado County's Starfield Vineyards. This is where the grapes meet the sky, as they say, thanks to high altitude vineyards reaching upwards of 2400 to 3000 feet in elevation. Here at Starfield Vineyards, you gaze at the vineyard views surrounded by evergreens in every direction. This mountain terroir gives El Dorado wines their distinct herbal and spicy flavor, or Sierra spice, as it's called in these parts, a flavor profile that makes them stand out among other California wines. We're so excited to be speaking with Rob Sinton at this gorgeous property set with lakes and miles of walking trails, where you can soak up the wine country experience and enjoy some darn good wines. Starfield is also the dream of Rob and his father Tom, whose love of wine led them on a quest to find the best place to grow Rhone and Italian varietals. Their search sent them into the Sierra Foothills and El Dorado County. Today Rob is not only making wine, he's reinventing wine labels using solargraphy, championing forgotten grapes, and even creating his own vermouths. We're sure that once you hear Rob's story, you'll want to plan a visit to this and other wineries in the mountainous El Dorado wine country.
The murder of Barbara Hamburg might read like fiction — a bitter divorce, a mysterious pyramid scheme, a family full of secrets — but for her son Madison, it was all too real. In 2010, Barbara was found bludgeoned to death outside her home in the affluent shoreline town of Madison, Connecticut. In this episode, we explore a case that captivated author Megan Abbott, inspired her novel El Dorado Drive, and remains unsolved 15 years later.
