Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 - Trump Told Netanyahu "You're F*in' Crazy," the Traitor Fund Is Blocked, and Florida Sued OpenAI

Morning Announcements

Today's Headlines: The Traitor Fund is effectively dead for now — the DOJ said it "disagrees strongly" but will abide by the court's ruling, which is the closest thing to a clean win we've gotten in a while. Trump's America 250 birthday celebration continues to implode, with a competing Power to the People Festival announced for October 3rd featuring Springsteen, Joan Baez, and Dave Matthews, while the UFC fight at the White House is still on but now requires attending service members to meet a waist-to-height ratio under .55, and the National Park Service is spending $5 million on a no-bid contract to gold-plate four bronze horse statues near the Lincoln Memorial, which is giving Saddam Hussein's living room. Trump reportedly told Netanyahu on a bad phone call that "you're fucking crazy, you'd be in prison if it weren't for me, everybody hates Israel because of this" — accurate — and Netanyahu pulled back on planned Beirut strikes, with Lebanon's parliament speaker saying Hezbollah is ready for a full ceasefire with Israel, though the US bombed Iranian drone sites yesterday and a cargo ship was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz, so "ceasefire" continues to mean whatever anyone needs it to mean. Florida's attorney general sued OpenAI and Sam Altman for marketing ChatGPT without adequately warning of its dangers, citing its alleged role in mass shootings, suicide encouragement, and helping a murder suspect dispose of bodies — and Anthropic filed its IPO the same day at a $965 billion valuation, because timing is everything. And finally, a second man named Dan Sullivan entered the Alaska Senate race against incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan with no policies and no party affiliation, just a stated goal of unseating the other Dan Sullivan, which is either a Democratic ploy or the most chaotic campaign launch of the cycle. Also Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Joan Baez, and more artists and activist are among the star-studded lineup for Tom Morello's Power to the People Festival this October Former first lady Jill Biden is now the target of ire among former Biden administration officials for her recent comments expressing the shock she said she had while watching her husband's now-infamous debate performance. Buddies! I'm back with another interview on Vinyl Community Podcasts, this time speaking with Richard Foos—the influential founder behind Rhino Entertainment and co-founder of Shout! Studios. Sometimes referred to as the "Godfather of Modern Reissues", the work from Richard's companies has been instrumental in the current "golden age" of vinyl, and have inspired reissue labels we know and love like Light in the Attic (LITA), Sundazed Music, and the folks in Salina, KS at Analogue Productions.  In this reflective interview, Foos shares the incredible journey from opening the original Rhino Records store in Westwood, Los Angeles in 1973 to building one of the most influential reissue labels in music history. From preserving lost music and comedy albums to pioneering deluxe box sets, archival releases, and collector culture, Richard Foos helped shape how generations of music fans experience physical media. With Rhino, he set a standard for quality and bonus essays, lost tracks, features, etc. that music fans have enjoyed for decades.  Topics include: The origins of his connection to music The early days of Rhino Records, the record store Building the reissue label and store through a couple "happy accidents" Legendary Rhino projects involving The Monkees, Ramones, James Brown and MORE! What goes into curating a reissue choice? from licensing to consumer desire to personal preferences Launching Shout! Factory and expanding into film and television preservation Why curation, community, and storytelling still matter What does he think of the "vinyl resurgence" of the past two decades? Moving away from the boardroom and into philanthropic projects like The Narrative Method and Volunteer Collective Did Dave Grohl "license" his name to when naming the Foo Fighters?   This conversation is essential listening for vinyl collectors, music historians, physical media enthusiasts, and anyone fascinated by the business and culture behind record collecting.   Often imitated, never duplicated, please join us for another fine interview courtesy of Vinyl Community Podcasts!

Nevermind changed everything. Music, fashion, pop culture and Nirvana lead singer, guitar player and songwriter, Kurt Cobain became the voice of a generation. The band included underrated bassist Krist Novoselic and new hard hitting drummer and future leader of the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl. Nevermind was Nirvana's 2nd studio album was produced by Butch Vig. It made it to #1 on Billboard album charts and eventually went 13 times platinum and sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. The album broke the grunge movement and was partially responsible for killing "hair metal." Explore one of the strangest and least understood mysteries of World War II — the terrifying “Foo Fighters” reported by Allied pilots over Europe in 1944 and 1945. In this episode of UFO WARNING, we investigate the original New York Times reports describing glowing balls of fire that stalked American fighter planes during nighttime bombing missions over Germany. Were these mysterious objects secret Nazi weapons, atmospheric plasma phenomena, advanced wartime technology, or something far more unexplained? We examine eyewitness testimony from the legendary 415th Night Fighter Squadron, wartime military intelligence concerns, and the enduring connection between Foo Fighters and the modern UFO phenomenon.Discover how trained combat aviators encountered glowing orbs performing impossible maneuvers years before the modern flying saucer era began. We also explore the role of secret German weapons programs, WWII aerospace experimentation, and why Foo Fighters remain one of the most credible military UFO cases in history.

We're not even halfway through the year yet, and we already have all of these great tunes! Who was that said rock n' roll was dead???  What is it we do here at InObscuria? Send in your music story!Ticketmaster just took a major legal hit and we're asking the only question that matters for fans: does this finally change the price of concert tickets, or do we keep paying “fees” that feel like a second ticket? We break down the federal ruling that says Live Nation and Ticketmaster illegally monopolized the concert industry, what they're accused of controlling, and what a potential breakup or new regulations could mean for ticket sales, venue power, and the future of live music in the US. Then we swing into the week's music chatter, including Ariana Grande's album and tour news, plus Coachella talk that turns into a love letter to surprise guests, with Sabrina Carpenter bringing Madonna onstage. If you've ever bought a ticket for the one-time moment, you know exactly why those collaborations hit so hard. We also share Taylor's Song of the Week, “Better” by Khalid, and get into why the same lyrics can feel like gratitude to one person and a hookup anthem to another. To top it off, we play our painfully dumb mini-game “Band Or Traffic Sign,” and we debate an AI-built list of the top 10 artists you “must” see live, from Green Day and Metallica to Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Foo Fighters, with plenty of disagreement along the way. If you enjoy music news, concert culture, and honest opinions about touring and ticketing, subscribe, share this with a friend who's sick of ticket fees, and leave a review so more fans can find us.Please check out our merch page! : https://hookandbridgepodmerch.printful.me/ Become part of our community! : https://www.patreon.com/cw/TheHookandBridgePodcastPremiumSupport the showPlease give us a quick rate and review. Well we've got pod best friend and '00s rock expert Pat Finnerty to help us decode this mess and help us decide which is THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST between Foo Fighters' "Best of You" and Audioslave's "Best of You"! The album broke the grunge movement and was partially responsible for killing "hair metal." The album has been awarded numerous accolades and along with its first single and video, which is the poster child for the 1990's and grunge, "Smells Like Teen Spirit. This was the Tom's pick. Joe Exotic for President?! + Dave Grohl's Whiskey Vocal Hack & Rock List Chaos

The Rizzuto Show

Welcome back to The Rizzuto Show, the daily comedy podcast where logic takes a backseat and chaos is riding shotgun. Today's episode kicks off with something we genuinely didn't have on our 2026 bingo card: Joe Exotic officially announcing he's running for president. Yes, the tiger guy. Yes, it's real. And yes, we spend a concerning amount of time debating whether he's actually a viable candidate—or just the most honest one we've ever seen. From there, things somehow get even more ridiculous. We dig into Dave Grohl's “secret” to keeping his voice intact during insane performances, and let's just say… if your doctor recommends whiskey and more whiskey, you might want a second opinion. But hey, if it works for the Foo Fighters, who are we to argue?Of course, no episode of this comedy podcast would be complete without a full round of celebrity chaos. We've got Taylor Momsen dealing with a nightmare spider bite that keeps getting worse (hard pass), Bachelor Nation drama that proves reality TV is still wildly unhinged, and a bizarre mix of entertainment gossip that somehow all connects back to “what is happening anymore?”Then we hit one of the most controversial moments of the show: a “Top 100 Rock Songs of All Time” list that sends the entire room into debate mode. The rankings? Questionable. The arguments? Loud. The conclusions? Nonexistent. Exactly how you want your daily comedy podcast discussions to go.We wrap things up the only way we know how—with random birthdays, historical facts, and a completely unnecessary (but absolutely essential) adult film star shoutout that somehow ties the whole episode together. Or at least… tries to.If you're here for a funny podcast packed with sarcastic humor, weird news, pop culture commentary, and the kind of daily show energy that makes you question everything—you're in the right place. This episode of The Rizzuto Show is what happens when a wholesome moment gets absolutely hijacked by chaos… and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.We kick things off with a heartfelt birthday and wedding shoutout to a loyal listener (aka “The Skate Doctor”), which quickly turns into a debate about the financial burden of raising kids—specifically, whether hockey or cheerleading drains your bank account faster. Spoiler alert: either way, you're broke. Then things take a hard left turn into what might be the end of an era: QVC possibly filing for bankruptcy. Yes, that QVC. The late-night comfort channel, the place where you could buy a ladder, a vacuum, and emotional support all in one call. The crew dives into the absurdity of live TV sales, including one of the wildest clips ever—where a host literally passes out mid-pitch and the other guy just keeps going like it's Black Friday. Absolute professional. Questionable human response, but incredible commitment. From there, it's a full sprint through celebrity chaos. We break down Foo Fighters drama, talk about how band chemistry matters more than talent, and somehow land on a horrifying story involving a poisonous spider bite that sent a rock star to the hospital mid-tour. Because apparently, even international touring doesn't protect you from nature trying to end your career. The show also dives into the ongoing debate about AI in music (is it the future or the devil?), new music releases, Coachella highlights, and why some bands just refuse to vibe with technology. Plus, we hit everything from WrestleMania hype to a very questionable Mount Rushmore of New Wave bands that may or may not start arguments in your car.And of course, no episode would be complete without birthdays, random tangents, and just enough inappropriate humor to keep things… educational. If you're looking for a daily podcast that blends pop culture, weird news, and completely unnecessary commentary, congratulations—you found it. This daily podcast is your go-to for everything ridiculous happening in the world, delivered with sarcasm, side-eyes, and just enough truth to make it hurt.
