The Jungle welcomes a new voice in Episode 130 as Toya Top Floor steps into the den. As the host of Unknown Plug CT, Toya lives at the intersection of media, culture, and conversation, making her a natural fit for the Jungle's unfiltered energy. Before the debates heat up, we take time to get to know her — how she built her platform, what drives her voice, and why Connecticut continues to produce conversations louder than people expect. Music opens the episode with the squad breaking down fresh drops and shifting sounds. Polo G's “High Tolerance” sparks discussion around pain rap and whether vulnerability still hits the same when success changes the struggle. Lil Uzi's “Regular” brings the conversation into individuality, evolution, and what it means to stay weird while staying relevant. A$AP Ferg's “Flip Phone Shorty” taps into nostalgia, image, and the balance between simplicity and status in today's culture. From there, the Jungle turns its attention to the headlines — and the reactions don't disappoint. Lena The Plug inviting Blueface into content territory while Adam watches sends the room into a deeper conversation about boundaries, performance, and where spectacle replaces intimacy. Juelz Santana's comments about kids not needing to know how to read ignite a necessary discussion about responsibility, influence, and how careless words travel further when you have a platform. OBJ admitting he can't make $100 million last shocks the room and opens a bigger conversation about financial literacy, lifestyle inflation, and the myths of generational wealth. And 50 Cent promoting a Diddy documentary on Good Morning America becomes less about promotion and more about power, timing, and who controls narratives in real time. As always, the episode finds its core in the relationship talk — where the jokes fade and the honesty sets in. The squad asks whether people still need to formally ask someone to be their girlfriend in an era where situationships run the game. Then comes the uncomfortable hypothetical: if your partner allows a threesome but it can only involve your pleasure and not theirs, is that really freedom or just control? The conversation deepens as we explore where honesty crosses into oversharing, and whether being too available actually kills attraction rather than builds security. Episode 130 balances insight, humor, and tension — a conversation shaped by media minds, cultural chaos, and relationship realities that don't come with clean answers. A new guest, familiar Jungle energy, and another reminder that nothing here is meant to be comfortable — just real. Michael Phelps BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Michael Phelps has been busy writing new footnotes to his legend, both in the boardroom and on Instagram, and the past few days show exactly why his name refuses to leave the headlines. Sports Business Journal's newly released Influence 125 package, highlighted via PR Newswire and SBJ, names Michael Phelps alongside Simone Biles and Allyson Felix as one combined entry on its list of the most influential figures in sports business over the past 25 years, cementing him not just as the greatest swimmer of all time but as a long-term power player in the business of sport. That editorial recognition carries real biographical weight, framing him as a multi-decade force whose influence now stretches from the pool deck to sponsorships, mental health advocacy, and media. On the lighter side, Pro Football Network reports that Phelps popped up in baseball news when he reacted on Instagram to star slugger Pete Alonso signing a five year, 155 million dollar deal with the Baltimore Orioles, his lifelong favorite team. The site notes that Phelps posted a shocked face and Lets gooooo to his story, a small social media moment, but one wrapped in nostalgia because his late father once worked security at the Orioles stadium and gave young Michael rare access to the ballpark. That emotional tie turns a simple fan reaction into another glimpse of Phelps as Baltimore's most decorated sports son still rooting hard from the stands.Good Morning America recently revisited his family life, recirculating and updating coverage of Phelps as a father of four boys with wife Nicole, spotlighting their youngest son Nico's first birthday party and the family's Paris Olympic trip, details that continue to shape the softer chapters of his public persona. There are also fresh side door mentions as outlets revisit his legacy around swimming stories, such as EssentiallySports invoking Phelps while covering former teammate Ryan Lochte's decision to sell some of his Olympic medals. So far, there are no credible reports in the last few days of a competitive comeback or major new business venture beyond the SBJ Influence 125 honor; any social media chatter suggesting a return to elite racing appears speculative and is not supported by verified reporting.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Yet the need continues to grow.We talk about hunger. We talk about clothing. But we rarely talk about the child sleeping on a cold floor…or a blanket in the backseat of a car…or a couch they share with siblings.Luke has seen those children. He has delivered beds to those families. And he has witnessed the look on a child's face when they receive something many of us take for granted — a safe, warm, comfortable place to sleep. A moment that restores dignity, hope, and childhood itself. And here's what makes this story even more powerful:Luke didn't seek out this mission — it found him.A simple act.A moment of paying attention.A heart that refused to look away. That is all it took to ignite a movement.Today, with national partners like Lowe's and DeWALT, SHP has chapters across the country — but many communities still have none. The need is everywhere. Which is why Luke speaks so passionately about starting new chapters in towns, cities, and states nationwide. In this unforgettable episode, we discuss:·         The moment that changed Luke's life — and thousands of others·         The emotional reality of child bedlessness in America·         What it feels like to hand a child their very first bed·         Why heart health — emotional and physical — is intertwined with service·         How YOU can start a Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapter and help change livesThis isn't just a story — it's a wake-up call.A reminder that one act of service can ripple into something life-changing.Let's make sure no child sleeps on the floor in our towns — or any town.#TodayIsTheDayPodcast #LukeMickelson #SleepInHeavenlyPeace #Changemakers #Service #Leadership #NonprofitImpact #EveryChildDeservesABed #CommunityAction #BeTheChange #Sleep #Bedlessness #Community #Volunteers #Lowes #DeWaltSupport the show

Why is the sky blue? Why do only birds get to fly? Why do people die? It's natural for children to ask questions, big and small. But too often, adults brush off such questions as an annoyance, or scold kids for being rude, or even respond to their asking with punishment. When that happens, many children stop asking and grow up to become adults who believe it's safer to stay quiet and squelch their inherent, and essential, sense of wonder. Author LAURA MUNSON joins Andrew this week to discuss: Naming and inhabiting our own creativity Rediscovering our sense of wonder The power of surrendering to life's mysteries.  Finding your calling Finding meaning through slowing down.  Laura Munson is the New York Times, USA Today, and international bestselling author of the novel Willa's Grove and the memoir This Is Not The Story You Think It Is. Lindsay Shiver, the former Alabama beauty queen accused of plotting to murder her estranged husband Robert Shiver, has filed a new petition with the Nassau Supreme Court in the Bahamas. Her request: remove the GPS ankle monitor she's been wearing for over two years while awaiting trial on conspiracy to commit murder charges. Her reasoning? The ankle monitor is "embarrassing." It causes bruises and disrupts her sleep. It traumatizes her three children. It can't get wet, so she can't go to the beach or take her kids swimming. And most notably — she claims she has job offers for modeling and influencer work that she can't accept while wearing the device. Lindsay Shiver was arrested in July 2023 alongside her alleged lover Terrence Bethel and suspected hitman Faron Newbold Jr. after Bahamian police discovered WhatsApp messages allegedly showing a photo of Robert Shiver with the words "kill him." Prosecutors say the messages reveal a murder-for-hire plot against her husband, a former Auburn football player and ex-NFL long snapper for the Atlanta Falcons. All three defendants have pleaded not guilty. This video covers the full history of the Lindsay Shiver case, including her original arrest, her release on $100,000 bail, the strict conditions of her release including the ankle monitor and travel restrictions, and how she violated those conditions by appearing on Good Morning America and Inside Edition in October 2024 — which resulted in the judge revoking her bail and sending her back to Fox Hill Prison in Nassau for four months. The video also examines what this latest ankle monitor removal request reveals about Lindsay Shiver's apparent disconnect from reality, her pattern of prioritizing attention over compliance, and how her actions continue to shape public perception of her case. With the hearing on her petition set for December 8, 2025 and her trial now scheduled for March 2026 after four delays, the case is entering a critical phase. #LindsayShiver #LindsayShiverCase #LindsayShiverUpdate #LindsayShiverTrial #LindsayShiverBahamas #RobertShiver #TrueCrime #TrueCrime2025 #MurderForHire #BahamasMurderPlot #AnkleMonitor #CrimeNews #CourtNews #TrueCrimeCommunity #CriminalCase Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Today on Resonance, I'm coming to you from Uluwatu with a message about the power of editing — not in the sense of doing more, but in the courageous act of removing what no longer serves. Culturally, we're taught that happiness comes from accumulation: more doing, more having, more striving. But in relationships, and in our own inner world, the truth is often the opposite. Fulfillment lives in subtraction.I share a recent real-world experience with someone who showed all the signs of connection on the surface, but ultimately revealed a deeper pattern of gaslighting, blame, and energetic misalignment. It forced me to confront something I've carried since childhood: the impulse to abandon myself for harmony, to take responsibility for emotions that aren't mine, and to stay connected to people who haven't earned the privilege of my presence. In this episode, I dive into why we repeat lessons until we claim the boundary we've been avoiding, how unresolved inner voices manifest in the people we attract, and why editing your relational field is essential for stepping into the next chapter of your life. Most importantly, I share how facing discomfort without numbing it is part of becoming the integrated man I choose to be — one aligned with resonance, partnership, family, and true integrity. If it's not a full yes, it's a no. Boundaries are love. Editing is liberation. And every person we release creates the space for the people who are truly meant to walk with us. In today's episode, Sara sits down with author and advocate Celeste Yvonne, whose book It's Not About the Wine cuts straight through the noise of mommy wine culture and exposes what's really going on behind the scenes.   This conversation digs into the political and psychological systems that encourage women to drink, profit from their burnout, and quietly benefit when mothers are overwhelmed, numb, and too exhausted to challenge the status quo.   Sara and Celeste unpack how alcohol became the “acceptable” coping mechanism for modern motherhood, why women are drinking more than ever, and how targeted marketing turned female exhaustion into a trillion-dollar opportunity for Big Alcohol. If you've ever wondered why drinking feels so normalized for moms or why quitting sometimes feels rebellious, this episode will connect the dots.   They also explore what happens when women finally step out of that fog. Spoiler, clarity changes everything. From relationships to emotional patterns to political awareness, sobriety becomes a form of awakening, and that awakening has a ripple effect.   If you've felt the spark of something waking up inside you, this episode will fan that flame. In this episode, you'll hear: Why mommy wine culture exploded on social media and who benefitted from it How Big Alcohol used burnout, overwhelm, and emotional labor as a marketing strategy Why numbing out keeps women small, quiet, and disconnected from their own power The cultural expectations that trap women into drinking more than they realize How marketing shifted from cigarettes to wine, and why women became the primary target The connection between sobriety and political clarity What real self care looks like when alcohol is no longer the default How sobriety gives women their voice back, and why that voice matters The emotional patterns alcohol keeps hidden and what rises to the surface when you stop Why women often feel angrier in early sobriety, and why anger is actually a sign of waking up About Celeste Celeste Yvonne is a writer, speaker, and author of It's Not About the Wine: The Loaded Truth Behind Mommy Wine Culture. From navigating a last-minute Wi-Fi crisis to honoring a 30-day daily publishing challenge, he shares a firsthand story of choosing integrity over convenience—and the identity shift that choice reinforces.Michael zooms out to look at how traditional cultures, tribal structures, and Dunbar's number remind us that we are fundamentally interdependent. In an era hyper-focused on the individual, he makes the case for reclaiming a “we-centered” mindset, where honoring your word becomes an offering to the collective. You'll hear how commitment builds internal power, why integrity creates momentum for your dreams, and how following through on his first book opened the portal to his second. But none of it matters if our state of being isn't aligned with the life we're trying to create.Michael shares how his own initiatory process has required shedding old patterns, confronting shadows, and embodying a deeper level of grounded, conscious presence—one capable of holding the vision he has for his next chapter, his work, and future partnership. You'll learn why the world reflects your internal state, how to identify when your external results are mismatched with who you want to become, and what it looks like to act “as if” you are already the version of yourself capable of receiving what you desire. This is an invitation to step into the person your future is calling forward—today. Welcome to The Georgia Politics Podcast! It's 1975 again, and we're back with our cornucopia episode for Part 15 of our mini-series, exploring five pivotal events from this turbulent year. We begin with the haunting story of the Edmund Fitzgerald, the massive Great Lakes freighter that vanished beneath the waves of Lake Superior, sparking investigations, folklore, and one of the most enduring maritime mysteries in American history. From there, we turn to the U.S. Supreme Court, where Justice William O. Douglas, the longest-serving justice in history, stepped down after more than three decades on the bench. His retirement closed a chapter of sweeping judicial influence and opened the door to a new era in constitutional law. Across the Atlantic, Spain faced a turning point of its own with the death of Francisco Franco, the dictator who ruled for nearly 40 years. His passing set in motion the country's transition toward democracy—an uncertain and delicate transformation that reshaped Europe. We also revisit the political drama of the "Halloween Massacre," the sweeping reshuffle within the Ford administration that altered the trajectory of the presidency, reshaped national security leadership, and left Washington insiders stunned. Finally, we lighten things up with a cultural milestone: the launch of Good Morning America, a morning show experiment that grew into a broadcast institution, influencing the rhythms of American mornings for decades. Join us as we explore the stories behind these events, the people at the center of them, and the broader forces that made 1975 a year worth revisiting. Rite of Passage: The Archetype Shift That Changes Everything

In a world filled with distractions and societal pressures, finding and stepping into your true identity can feel like a monumental task. In this enlightening podcast episode, Michael Trainer shares profound insights on the importance of individuation, using personal anecdotes and timeless wisdom to guide listeners on their journey to self-discovery. **Understanding Individuation**  Michael Trainer opens the discussion by emphasizing the significance of drawing a line in the sand and embracing the identity that resonates with us. He recalls advice from his leadership coach, Peter Roche, who reminded him that we are the lead actors in our own movies. This metaphor encourages listeners to take control of their narratives, embodying the characters they aspire to be, such as the king, the warrior, or the lover. These archetypes have been part of human storytelling for centuries, and recognizing them can help us align with our deepest desires. **The Traditional Rite of Passage**  Trainer reflects on the historical processes of individuation, where young men and women were guided through challenging rites of passage by elders. These experiences often required courage and a confrontation with fears, leading to a new identity and a profound sense of belonging. Unfortunately, in today's convenience-oriented culture, these traditional connections and rites of passage are often missing, leaving many feeling stuck in their childhood narratives and unprepared for adulthood. **The Importance of Letting Go**  To fully embrace our potential, Trainer stresses the need to let go of old stories that no longer serve us. He shares a personal experience of slipping and injuring his wrist, using this incident as a metaphor for the importance of paying attention to life's signals. He highlights how injuries can teach us valuable lessons about health, patience, and resilience. In moments of struggle, we are reminded to reflect on our paths and take responsibility for our choices. **Finding Your Purpose**  The conversation then shifts to the significance of stepping into our purpose, or Dharma. Trainer explains that when we neglect our true calling, life can feel chaotic and unsteady. However, when we stand firm in our convictions and embrace our roles within our communities, we can navigate challenges with greater ease. This self-awareness leads to empowerment, allowing us to transition from one life stage to another, whether it's from maiden to mother or prince to king. **Community and Support**  Michael shares his own journey of individuation, which included participating in men's work with his father and engaging in transformative programs like the Mankind Project. He emphasizes the importance of community in this process, as being witnessed by others can facilitate growth and healing. However, he also acknowledges that not everyone has access to such experiences. Therefore, he encourages listeners to seek out mentors and peers who can inspire and challenge them to rise to their full potential. **Commitment to Growth**  As Trainer reflects on his own life, he recognizes the need to surround himself with individuals who push him forward, not just those who provide comfort. He shares his commitment to returning to a supportive community in Austin, Texas, where he plans to embark on a new chapter in 2026, focusing on personal growth and the birthing of a new book. This commitment, while daunting, represents a significant step in his journey toward individuation. What happens when you finally decide to stop playing small? In this intimate solo episode, Michael dives into the ancient and deeply human process of individuation—the moment you step out of the outdated version of yourself and into the role you were always meant to inhabit.Drawing on wisdom from his leadership mentor, Peter Roche, and archetypes from myth and psychology, Michael explores why so many of us are living out childhood stories long after they've expired… and what it takes to cross the threshold into your next chapter. He shares a recent personal moment—a literal fall—that became a metaphor for the ways life tries to get our attention when we're not stepping fully into our gifts, purpose, and power. You'll hear:Why you're the lead actor in your own storyThe archetypes (King, Warrior, Magician, Lover) that shape your identityHow ancient rites of passage forged adults who could protect communityWhat happens when we avoid the identity we're called to liveHow injury, setback, or friction can be a spiritual signalWhy strong peers and “iron sharpens iron” relationships matterThe difference between karma and dharmaWhy stepping into your bigness is not arrogance but responsibilityMichael's commitment to a new chapter—and an invitation to begin your ownIf you've been feeling the pull toward a bigger life, deeper purpose, truer relationships, or a more courageous version of yourself… this episode is your line in the sand.**Conclusion: Key Takeaways**  Michael Trainer's podcast serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of stepping into our true identities and the role of community in our journeys. Key takeaways include:- Embrace the idea that you are the lead actor in your life and have the power to shape your narrative.- Recognize the value of traditional rites of passage and seek out ways to create your own.- Let go of stories that no longer serve you and focus on your true purpose.- Surround yourself with a community that inspires growth and pushes you to reach your potential.- Commit to continuous personal development and be willing to embrace new chapters in your life. “I feel like I've been fired by America,” says Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Masino in a vulnerable tell-all that goes behind the scenes into the explosive Cracker Barrel rebrand, which Glenn describes as “stupid from start to finish.” In August 2025, Cracker Barrel unveiled a minimal new logo with modern fonts, cozy colors ... but no nice old man and no BARREL for him to lean on. But it wasn't just the logo; the restaurant chain was also getting a “modern” remodel. In short: We hated it. Social media erupted with brutal reviews, calling it “minimalist,” “soulless,” and “downright ugly.” Cracker Barrel stock tanked, its attempt to tamp down the pushback backfired, and it looked like this was the company's “Bud Light moment.” But then, Cracker Barrel surprised us. Its leaders listened. Within weeks, they scrapped the new logo, reinstated the original, and hit pause on every remodel. “COVID even made Cracker Barrel start drinking,” says Doug Hisel, senior vice president of store operations, as he takes Glenn behind the scenes as to what REALLY led to moment that brought Cracker Barrel to its knees. In Julie's first interview since her time on “Good Morning America,” when she said the response to the new logo “was overwhelmingly positive,” she is here to say to America: “I'm sorry ... I regret it.” Now the question is: Will America forgive her?         GLENN'S SPONSORS: Relief Factor: If you're living with aches and pains, see how Relief Factor, a daily drug-free supplement, could help you feel better and live better. About this episode's guest Indie Artist FIREROSE. The definitive version of her album's title track, "Shining Armor (Rise Again)" marks a powerful new chapter - one of independence, renewal, and self-rescue - and anchors the larger story she's finally ready to share publicly for the first time. That story continues next month with her new podcast, No One Asked Her, a series named for how the world once decided she didn't need to be heard. Firerose is a survivor who has lived through more than her share of hardship - addiction, abuse, and years of being silenced in relationships - yet has emerged with her faith, strength, and perspective intact. She's smart, passionate, and deeply thoughtful, with a story that deserves to be heard on her own terms. Born and raised in Sydney, music was her refuge amid a childhood marked by sadness and confusion. As a kid, she filled notebooks with lyrics, turning pain into songs. That survival instinct carried her across the world to Los Angeles, through addiction and a two-month stint in LA County jail that ultimately led to faith and sobriety in 2016. Even while trapped in controlling relationships that kept her from steering her own career, her voice still reached millions with charting singles and performances on Good Morning America, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and The Grand Ole Opry. Now, with her new single and upcoming podcast, Firerose is finally telling her story in full - standing in her independence, her faith, and her truth. The title "Shining Armor" speaks to that turning point: after years of waiting for someone else to save her, she realized she had to be her own knight, fighting for her freedom, her music, and her life with God's strength behind her. Her podcast title, No One Asked Her, nods to the way she was often reduced to a one-dimensional figure in the tabloids - someone the world decided didn't need to be heard from. Now, she's claiming her voice and inviting others to do the same. This is a rich and highly engaging monologue! Here are some great options for the title, summary, and description, focusing on the core themes of self-mastery, environment, and energetic boundaries.Dissonance vs. Resonance: Tuning Your Environment and Stepping Up Your IdentityIn this tactical episode of Resonance, host Michael Trainer tackles the concept of Dissonance—the frustrating static and out-of-tune feeling that emerges when your core values and integrity aren't met by your environment or relationships.Drawing on his challenging experience while recording in Ubud, Bali, Michael unpacks how the gap between his grounded, pragmatic approach and the "maybe I'll show up, maybe I won't" culture became a powerful call to action. You will learn:The Power of Environment: Why physically changing your location (or "garden") is often the most direct and pragmatic way to reset your inner tune, especially when entering a new professional or personal phase. The Radical Reckoning: How to use tools like journaling, trusted friends, or even AI to uncover the blind spots and patterns that lead you to attract and tolerate dissonance. The Identity Manifesto: Michael shares his process for defining a new self-identity, including a declaration to stop "energizing" people and behaviors that don't share your high standards for integrity and follow-through.Confronting the Warrior's Task: How to turn dissonance into resonance by deliberately taking on the uncomfortable tasks, hard conversations, and long-avoided items that are draining your life force.Childhood Wounding as Signal: Recognizing that patterns of frustration (like constantly being flaked on) often connect back to unresolved childhood experiences, and how to use this awareness to heal and show up differently. This episode is a powerful message about holding yourself and your relationships to a higher standard, recognizing static, and intentionally cultivating the energy where your most beautiful music can play.
