Where is the joy if we are not operating with spiritual intelligence? Where is the joy if our redemptive story does not translate into seeing and knowing by the Holy Spirit? Have you noticed that in our world today, people will do anything even in the negative to visit the supernatural? People will do anything, pay anything even, just to get in tune with the spiritual realms. No wonder many people tap into all forms of witchcraft manifestations in their lives.  Thank God that in Christ Jesus, God not only made us a masterpiece, but He also designed us with a masterplan and imputed in us the ability to know by the Spirit what this plan is. This is joy to your world!

God has designed a luxury life for everyone who is in Christ Jesus. When you hear luxury, don't be tempted to reduce it to material things alone because there is a life in redemption that material things cannot equate.  Would you not describe the life that Jesus lived before the cross as luxurious? Scripture says that He went everywhere and continued to do good everywhere He went. Is it not amazing that Jesus could not be held back by the influences of defeat that were in the earth at the time of His ministry exploits? The life of Jesus would count for luxury when you think about how He consistently experienced victory at all times.

God designed you to be a masterpiece and He has the masterplan for your life. Let's face it, God did the design and He has the masterplan. He has the masterplan, not you. This means that you will have to stay intertwined with Him in fellowship to receive the plans that He has. Absolutely! You were not designed to run blindly. God gave you too much leverage in redemption; leverage that was designed to give you insider information about things that pertain to your life, your destiny, your ministry, and your calling. It is wrong for you to have all of these available to you and still run blindly in life. God has designed heads up for you through the redemptive work of Jesus and you should use it.

You cannot be wrong to decorate your living and working spaces with beautifully designed trees. However, while people are on the beautification quest, let's hope that they understand the greater idea that Christmas trees will mean nothing without an understanding of the family tree that Jesus came to make mankind a part of.  God in making a masterpiece had to move us into a spiritual family tree, one that has now become our real identity and that is the fact that we are born of God. We now have a divine family tree and we are now characterized by many wonderful realities and experiences.  In this episode of our all-new series- MASTERPIECES AND MASTERPLANS, we will be taking a look at our divine genealogy and the importance of paying attention to our heritage.

The Christmas Season is here and for us, it is an opportunity to reflect on the truth that became of us believers in Christ Jesus because the “Word became flesh.” The birth of Jesus was designed to be the commencement of the implementation of the Father's desire to move us into the New Creation zone, thereby making a masterpiece out of us!  God in Christ produced us as His Masterpieces and this is something to rejoice about. We have not come to Christ, only to embrace a religious presentation of Christmas - but to embrace a meaningful presentation, one where we have become His masterpiece. Having become His masterpiece, we rejoice in that God has a Masterplan for our lives.

Among urban designers and municipal officials, the term encroachment is defined as a deviation from the official master plan. But in cities today, such informal modifications to the urban fabric are deeply enmeshed with formal planning procedures.  Master Plans and Encroachments: The Architecture of Informality in Islamabad (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2023) examines informality in the high-modernist city of Islamabad as a strategic conformity to official schemes and regulations rather than as a deviation from them. For the new administrative capital of Pakistan designed in 1959 by Greek architect and planner Constantinos A. Doxiadis, Islamabad's master plan offers a clear template of formal urban design within which informal spaces and processes have been articulated. Drawing on deep archival research, wide-ranging interviews, and an array of visual material, including photographs, maps, and architectural drawings, Dr. Faiza Moatasim shows how Islamabad's master plan is not simply a blueprint that guides future urban development or makes its violations apparent; it is used by both city officials and citizens to develop informal spaces that accommodate unfulfilled needs and desires of those living and working in the city. Master Plans and Encroachments is the first book that examines the informal practices of both the privileged and the underprivileged. The book highlights how low-, middle-, and upper-income people do not randomly build informal spaces; they strategically use architectural techniques to support their informal claims to space, which are often met with the government's tacit approval. In this episode, Tayeba Batool talks to Dr. Faiza Moatasim about the spatial, material, class, and gendered negotiations and experiences that are imprinted on the city through Masterplans. Dr. Moatasim also shares how her research on a postcolonial city such as Islamabad projects onto urbanisms and encroachments elsewhere, and what we can learn the complexities of urban planning and architecture. The conversation also creates a space to address experiences with publishing inter-disciplinary research and highlight the necessity of learning from cities that are often overlooked in the dialogue about and on urban spaces. Dr. Faiza Moatasim is an Assistant Professor of Architecture in Urbanism and Urban Design at the USC School of Architecture. Tayeba Batool is a PhD Candidate in Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. Lord Voldemort liest Groschenromane! Welche Rolle spielt in diesem Kontext Wissenschaft?

Pushed by donors every Pakistani city is busy developing masterplans, an obsolete planning instrument. Masterplans freeze city development into outmoded concepts that planners left behind and makes the city planners and zones unable to respond to the demands of rapidly changing population movements and changing tastes. Our city managers and planners of cities are continuously involved in masterplans because of availability of donor funding. They are not even working to debate the subject with informed citizens. I am in Kabul at the invitation of the president to meet people and learn about Afghanistan. President Ghani has assembled a first rate thinking team and they are busy developing a deep reform of state and legal infrastructure. More on that later. During this visit a met a very bright and thoughtful minister for urban development and land. His views on city planning and masterplanning are recorded here. They are worth listening to.   Don’t forget if you want me to continue doing this podcast, help me by subscribing, debating and spreading the word. I need the encouragement.

3. Strengthen enterprise capabilities to innovate and scale up Zum einen verfolgt Singapur den Ansatz, Start-up Unternehmen intensiver zu fördern. 5. 7. A simply colossal list of news items dominated the proceedings on this week's Radio Free Skaro, with much discussion on the snippets of non-spoilery info emerging about "The Snowmen," this year's Doctor Who Xmas Day spectacular. The Three Who Rule also announced not only what their live show at Gallifrey One is called, but also their first guest to open the show and the convention itself! But news was but grist for the main event, an interview from Chicago TARDIS with former Doctor Who script editor Andrew Cartmel. All this AND a pointless discussion about the Hobbit at 48fps?
