In this episode, host Pete Moore sits down with Fadi Zoghzoghy, founder and CEO of Bridge Athletic. Fadi shares his insights about the transformative power of tech for the training market, particularly for college and professional athletes and coaches. With a strong background in tech, Fadi goes further into how Bridge is digitizing weight rooms and enhancing athlete development through personalized training, learning, and adaptive learning strategies. Bridge is not just about efficiency, but also about improving performance and player engagement. On bringing coaching "into the 21st century and seeing a white space," Fadi states, "There are no tools out there to help them do their job . . . efficiently and effectively. They're spending a lot of time in Excel designing these training plans. They're sending YouTube links. They're following up via text messages. It's all pretty much done in 1990's tech. That was the opportunity that we went after initially." Key themes discussed Digitizing athletic training and development Empowering strength coaches with modern tools Pricing software's value proposition Measuring user engagement stickiness Athletic program performance analysis Success stories in fitness innovation Entrepreneurial impact on community A few key takeaways:  1. Bridge Athletic's Impact on Efficiency: Bridge is a tool designed to digitize the weight room and optimize the workflow of strength and conditioning coaches. The platform helps them move away from traditional pen and paper or Excel-based methods to a digital system that saves coaches an average of forty minutes per day. 2. Focus on Strength and Conditioning: Initially targeting the strength and conditioning community, Bridge aims to enhance the efficiency of coaches by allowing personalization of training plans and facilitating better engagement and compliance from their athletes. 3. Adoption and Retention: The platform boasts high retention once an organization brings them in. Once coaches and athletes see the benefits of Bridge's digital strategies and how much more efficient things become, the tech becomes an integral part of the training processes. 4. Versatile Applications: Bridge is also used across various sectors, including pro teams, college athletics, tactical communities, and the fitness industry. Its applicability ranges from enhancing athlete development to aiding fitness professionals in business growth. 5. Positive Experiences and Testimonials: The platform has significantly impacted users, which is evident from their many unsolicited testimonials ranging from helping athletes in recovery journeys to contributing to their performance and overall satisfaction. And yet, you know, what we bring in as humans, as individuals, is very much cultural.  So how can we also peel into these layers and understand what needs to be healed and what needs to be expressed and what needs to be acknowledged? And for that to happen, we need to be open to sharing all this and being in these conversations in the first place, which, I can imagine for a lot of people, can be really triggering. (Lana) For me, one of the things that I go back to is my own regulated state, I often refer to as yes, hurt people, hurt people, and settled bodies, settled bodies. So for me going into this type of conversation, I need to take agency in terms of how am I showing up? (Lana)  What is our lens around productivity?  For me I can say for us Filipinos, our lens around productivity has been so tied up with our colonial history.  Being told countless times as Filipinos that we were lazy, and we were branded by the Spaniards as lazy, and there were stories created about Filipinos being lazy. (Lana) …we've had so many founders, um, talk to us about, Ooh, it's so difficult to show up and be visible because, you know, I don't think I'm worthy or I don't feel that I'm enough. So this concept around being enough, is something to unpack, you know, like where did this start and how did this start and how far can you trace it back? Being in a different environment can change the way we experience our bodies and can provide opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Therapists should empower patients to take breaks and give themselves permission to rest and recharge. One of the key concepts in DBT is the focus on building positive experiences, which is a component of the emotion regulation module. Building positive experiences in the short term and the long term is aimed at increasing positive events, which can help improve mood and counteract negative emotional states. In this podcast, I will discuss how to intentionally engage in enjoyable or fulfilling activities. This will increase positive emotions. This creates a CBT triangle cycle where emotions, feelings, and behaviors influence and affect each other positively. By building positive experiences, we can develop a better sense of self and a more fulfilling life. This episode delves deep into manifesting our desires, attracting abundance, achieving our dreams, and positive experiences. Manifestation isn't just about visualizing our goals; it's about embodying them. The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like, meaning we must become what we seek to manifest. It's not merely about wanting something; it's about being it, without attaching conditions or limitations. Often, we create barriers in our minds by focusing on the how instead of fully embodying our desires. But true manifestation requires us to adopt the mindset of already having achieved our goals, viewing ourselves from the perspective of our future selves. This shift in perspective may seem challenging, especially in a world that encourages a "realistic" approach. However, by embracing the belief that we are already living our desired reality, we unlock the power to shape our destiny. Reflect on your desires and visualize them as if they are already a reality. Whether it's a career goal, a relationship, or personal growth, see yourself from the perspective of having already attained it. Remember, you hold the power to manifest the life you envision. It's not about striving endlessly; it's about stepping into your inherent power and aligning with your highest self. - Henry -------------------------------- Social Media Say hi on TikTok Say Hi on Instagram -------------------------------- Email Me henry@vibeabundant.com -------------------------------- Email List --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/positive-mindset-podcast/support

Phil Codd is the CEO of Explio, an IT services company in Ireland, where he has worked for over 15 years. He started his career in sales and enjoys building rapport with customers, emphasizing the importance of positive interactions and relationships in business. Highlights: Phil grew up in London after his family moved from Dublin in the 1960s. He worked in the early days of the computer industry in Ireland when it was still quite small and immature. He got his start in sales selling newspapers and working retail, where he enjoyed the "buzz" of meeting customers and making sales. This indicated his natural inclination towards sales. Phil has been with Explio, an IT services company, for 15 years now. He takes pride in the company's growth to over 850 employees in Ireland, as well as its diversity and empowering culture. He believes mentorship is very important for leaders and managers. Having someone outside your company to provide advice and guidance is invaluable. Key Insights: Ireland offers a "luxury" for salespeople and business development to leverage personal connections and relationships unlike bigger countries. Decisions made at work are generally quite small compared to big life decisions. Employees should feel empowered to make decisions themselves. Interactions with people, no matter how small, are never neutral - they either leave you with a positive or negative feeling. Phil aims to have positive interactions. We need more nuance and balance in how we view leaders and public figures, rather than simplistic "good or bad" judgments.

Have you ever worked on a team going through a lot of change? I'm guessing you have many times and in many different scenarios. I'm also guessing your experience of that change had a lot to do with the level of trust that the team had for one another and the leaders of the team and/or organization. When there is a high level of trust the impacts of the change are softened. When there is low trust change can be traumatic. Clearly, we want to work in teams that have high trust but if that's not the current condition, how do we get there? To answer that question I've asked Malia Monaco to join me for this episode.   In this episode Malia and I talk about: ·         The work that Malia does for leaders and organizations through Positive Intelligence involving change management and trust building. ·         What it takes to build trust in teams and what becomes possible when trust grows. ·         Why it's important to get to the root of the problem rather than tackling the symptoms, which is where many organizational initiatives go wrong. ·         How our belief system will shape what we see around us and determine whether we bring harsh judgment or blameless discernment to our reactions. ·         While insights are important, they only make up 20% of sustainable long-lasting change what makes up the other 80%.
