About Tiffany Owen: Tiffany Owen is a passionate health and mindset coach dedicated to helping others unlock their full potential. As a certified personal trainer, fitness coach, keynote speaker and published author, Tiffany combines her extensive professional expertise with the wisdom gained as a wife, mother of four, and proud grandmother. Her personal and professional experiences have ignited a deep desire to guide others toward growth, healing, and healthier, more fulfilling lives. Tiffany's unique approach goes beyond physical fitness—she empowers her clients to reshape their minds, leading to profound and lasting transformations. As a sought-after keynote and motivational speaker, Tiffany has inspired audiences at numerous events, sharing her expertise and encouraging others to step into their power by getting out of a victim mindset, participating in their own rescue and finally end the vicious cycle of self-sabotage. Her mission is clear: to help you become the dominant force in your life and embrace the person you were always meant to be. Ready to begin your journey of transformation? Reach out today and let Tiffany guide you toward radical, life-changing growth.   What We Discuss In This Episode: In this inspiring and deeply honest episode, I sit down with Tiffany Owen—a woman with a powerful story and a heart full of wisdom. She opens up about the traumas and life changes she's walked through, and how those experiences shaped her journey into the world of mindset, healing, and empowerment. Tiffany dives into the addictions we often don't talk about—the ones that affect our thoughts, mental health, emotional well-being, and how we show up in the world, especially in the transformative season of midlife and menopause. Together, we explore: ·         Why mindset matters more than ever in midlife ·         How the “old tapes” we play in our heads keep us stuck—and how to replace them ·         The difference between affirmations and declarations (and why declarations are so powerful) ·         Simple, daily practices like writing and speaking truth that can shift everything ·         How to give yourself permission to think differently and be open to new ways of living Tiffany encourages us to embrace the wisdom of “Be open to everything and attached to nothing,” as Wayne Dyer once said, and reminds us that we are never too old to grow, heal, and change our story. This episode is a must-listen if you've been feeling stuck, weighed down by negative self-talk, or ready to step into a lighter, freer version of yourself. ✨ Tune in and be inspired to start rewriting your script—one powerful thought at a time.   Resources from Tiffany Owen: To claim your special gift from Tiffany, message her with the keyword Reset: https://coachtiffanyowen.com/offers Read Tiffany's Book:  https://www.amazon.com/Wounded-Warrior-Participate-Your-Rescue/dp/B0CPLYTW57/ref=monarch_sidesheet_title Connect With Tiffany Owen: Website: https://coachtiffanyowen.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tiffany.owen Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coachtiffanyowen LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tiffany-owen-texas    Connect with Lynne: If you're looking for a community of like-minded women on a journey - just like you are - to improved health and wellness, overall balance, and increased confidence, check out Lynne's private community in The Energized & Healthy Women's Club. This week the gang is all together in the studio to find the worst podcasts in the mental health category. I brought a show called “Terrible, Thanks For Asking” that pretty much just explains it's okay to be miserable all the time. Great advice. Lucy brought “Am I A Bad Therapist?” where people who have no business trying to help others pat themselves on the back. Finally, Andy came in with another whiny woman, this time it was Trisha Paytus. Please don't reward him for that. She's the worst! After the competition, our Cringe of the Week reminds us that Mom Swipes Left is hosted by two very gross women. Also, the song parody contest is ramping up with some amazing submissions. Then Cardiff joins the show to discuss one of John's most pathetic episodes ever. He continued to lie over and over and even swore on his life as he was getting called out. And finally, the return of To Poke A Dabbler, reviews with Annie, and your voicemails.  https://www.youtube.com/@OnceOverwithCayley https://www.instagram.com/allapologiespodcast https://www.patreon.com/cardiffelectric Support us, get bonus episodes, Vic and Hannah pics, and watch live every Saturday and most Wednesdays: http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/  Visit magicmind.co/watp and use promo code watp for 20% off your purchase or up to 50% off a subscription!   In this episode of the "No Sitting on the Sideline Dad" podcast, we welcome Douglas Mulhall, a seasoned expert in the field of Environmental Health. With over 30 years of experience, Mulhall shares his unique insights into how our environment impacts our health and how our health, in turn, impacts the environment. One of the key topics we delve into is the issue of antimicrobial resistance, a significant environmental health concern. Mulhall explains how the overuse of drugs in humans and animals has led to microbes and viruses becoming resistant to therapies, posing a serious threat to global health. Inspired by his father's death from heart disease, Mulhall has developed a keen interest in the role of inflammation in heart disease. He sheds light on the function of elastin, a crucial protein in the human body that degrades over time and is not replaced, leading to an inflammatory response in the body. We also discuss the potential of new therapies to repair elastin, which could potentially reverse heart disease. While these therapies are still in the experimental stage, they hold promise for the future of heart disease treatment. Mulhall recommends a couple of tests that can be done to detect early signs of heart disease: the Carotid Intima-Media Thickness Test (CIMT) and the Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) score. He also mentions a nutraceutical product called Nano BacTX, which has been on the market for 20 years and has been endorsed by several high-level cardiologists. Finally, we explore the benefits of a plant-based diet as a way to reduce inflammation in the body and potentially reverse heart disease. This episode is packed with valuable insights and practical advice, making it a must-listen for anyone interested in health and wellness.   DOUGLAS MULHALL BOOKS BOOKS   Website : www.natureoflongevity.com

According to Edison Research, there are more podcast listeners than ever, with 64% of the US 12+ population having ever listened to a podcast. With over half a million active podcasts available, more time is being devoted to mental health discussions. However, little is known about the motivation and experiences of people listening to mental health related material in podcasts. Joining us today are Dr. Sharon Lambert and Naoise Ó Caoilte from University College Cork in Ireland, who have studied the motivations and experiences of mental health-related podcast listeners. Their recent paper is entitled "Podcasts as a Tool for Enhancing Mental Health Literacy: An Investigation of Mental Health-Related Podcasts," and it appears in the journal Mental Health & Prevention. In this interview, we discuss the importance of mental health literacy and ask if the need for honest mental health experiences is being met from the recording studio rather than the consulting room. *** Mad in America podcasts and reports are made possible, in part, by a grant from the Thomas Jobe Fund. Times have been tough. Pandemic burnout, war, a mounting climate crisis and soaring prices on everything from gas to groceries. Few people have gotten through the last few years without grieving some kind of loss. The good news? We're definitely not alone. This week we're unpacking mental health with podcasts that uplift, investigate and validate. There's the grief that comes from losing someone you love, but have you ever experienced climate grief? It's the feeling of hopelessness as the climate crisis gets worse and worse. But for one Canadian musician, out of those feelings of fear, sadness and angst came artistic inspiration. We'll hear the conversation with folk band The Weather Station in a clip from Reseed. Plus, treatment for mental health has had a huge evolution in the last century. The evolution continues as the Toronto facility “Remedy” researches the use of MDMA to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Find out why the early results have researchers and patients so excited.
