Got trust issues? This one's for you!The shame we carry is the enemy's stomping ground. In this episode we discussThe enemy's role in our guilt and shameEveryday tips for overcoming past sin5 Ways to Build Trust According to the internet there are five practices that build trust:1. Make the relationship a priority2. Be a committed listener3. Be honest and vulnerable4. Be consistent with your communication5. Be patient. It takes time to build trust. “This is the brand-new covenant that I will make with Israel when the time comes. I will put my law within them—write it on their hearts!—and be their God. And they will be my people. They will no longer go around setting up schools to teach each other about God. They'll know me firsthand, the dull and the bright, the smart and the slow. I'll wipe the slate clean for each of them. I'll forget they ever sinned!” God's Decree.Jeremiah 31:33-34

I really hope today's two-part episode opens your eyes to the truth of what's happening.Regulatory agencies are supposed to advocate for our safety. Sadly, the opposite is true. If we look around, we see a global push towards more and more lab-manufactured Franken foods, including insects that harbor harmful parasites and allergy-inducing compounds, while demonizing our farmers and ranchers. The convenience of fast food is not worth the price you pay to be miserable.Today I'm talking with friend and Author, Dr. Sina McCullough, about the many ways our food supply is corrupted, and how we are being exposed to a wide variety of toxins without our knowledge and consent. We also talk about manipulative food labeling, the gluten-free corn illusion, the truth about organic requirements and so much more.In this episode, we discussThe many ways our food supply is corruptedHow food sensitivities are often misconstrued as a die-off reactionHow we are being exposed to a wide variety of toxins without our knowledge and consent.Manipulative food labelingThe gluten-free corn illusionThe truth about organic requirements and so much moreClick on the episode link to read the full transcript.

This is a recording of the Art Workshop as presented on Youtube. This episode is referring to specific imagery and thus is not readily beneficial to listen to for a podcast. You can still listen to it for the affirmations and the first 45 minutes of the workshop. Welcome To The Art Magic Workshop. Over the last two years I have undegone a huge journey inextricably linked between spirituality and art. One day after a quantum jump I awoke as an artist, with different memories and desires. I felt an overwhelming urge to create in any way i could. As I learned to paint with my wife I began to feel the presence of the creator, joining us in our creations. After much research and experimentation I was inspired to try Art Magic, after spending long hours mixing paint I found I could charge the paint with my light and put intentions into it. As I did amazing things began to happen with these painting. I coded real intentions into this art and it began to have an amplifying magical effect unlike anything I had ever experience. Soon I was giving this art to my friends as a means to help change their reality. One to help a friend find love and another for a friend struggling to get a job. You can do all of this and more. In this workshop I will discussThe history of art as magicThe power and history of sigils and hypersigils. How to create sigils using artMy art journeyDifferent painting mediumsUsing Grabovoi and quantum healing codes, what they are, how they work, and how to learn more about them.Flow painting do's and dont'sFinally I will share the different art sigils, giving you access to the concentrated energies I created using this process. You can create your own art magic. My goal is to show you how to do this to empower your manifestations to help you find wealth, health, love, and to ascend to higher levels of consciousness through these images. Art can be used as a powerful service to transform the emotions and consciousness for those around you. You are an artist, you are the creator, this links you to your divine origins. My guest this week, Dr. Don Khouri, invites us to protect our “Yes.” Whether others are asking for a favor, offering an opportunity, or handing down a task, our bias is usually to say “yes!” Don suggests that before we give away a single “yes,” we need to ask ourselves some critical questions.Join us as we discussThe five questions that we should ask before we say “yes”Why a default mode of “no” will actually make us more valuable collaborators and employeesThe transformation and ease that comes from being purposefully productive instead of busyAbout the Guest:Don Khouri coaches executives and business leaders who want to be more productive and profitable. One aspect of moving our bodies that I dare say 100% of people can relate to is negotiating the pitfalls of PAIN. Experiencing pain in any form in our bodies, whether it's acute or chronic, dull or sharp, expected or unexpected leads us into the territory of feeling disappointed by our bodies as they seemingly break down right under our nose. And well, let's not beat around the bush here, the general consensus for most of us in this department is: pain means damage, and it's frustrating. But... what if that assumption isn't entirely correct? Enter our guest for this episode: Charlie Merrill. As a licensed physical therapist and owner of https://www.mperformance.com/ (Merrill Performance) in Boulder, Colorado Charlie has devoted over 20 years of his life to developing a synthesized treatment of the mind and body to support people dealing with pain & injury in returning to a high level of performance, health, and vitality in their lives. Through his many years of study and experience, Charlie sees that pain and tissue damage do not always go hand in hand. In fact, having pain doesn't always mean there is something physically wrong. His combination of traditional hands on manual therapy care with a novel mind-body approach enables him to treat a wide range of clients including some of the world's best athletes. Outside of his clinic, Charlie is actively involved in clinical research, consults in health technology, and serves on the medical advisory board for "https://bettermindcenter.com/ (The Better Mind Center)". And if that weren't enough, Charlie co-created the course "https://www.mperformance.com/product-page/beyond-pain-education (Beyond Pain Education)" with Dr Howard Schibiner, MD, and regularly creates content appearing on https://linktr.ee/CharlieMerrill (Podcasts), his channel on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCinoyk46RyzA1v6PqbUl8_w (YouTube), and on https://www.instagram.com/charliemerrill/?hl=en (social media) to support people in pain. Needless to say, I am honored to have been able to sit down with Charlie for this episode — he is a gem of a human with so much love for movement and the power it has to change our lives. What we discussThe breakdown of what actually happens in our bodies when we experience pain Scientific evidence of why pain does not always mean tissue has been damaged in the body (and the surprising revelation that this evidence has been around for over 20 years) Acute vs chronic pain, and understanding what these different types of pain mean The strong correlation between pain & fear, and why this indicates that the brain is in charge of pain Using the bio-psycho-social sphere of our organism (hello mind-body connection!) to interpret the messages our pain is trying to alert us to Our brain can use physical pain to pull us out of feeling an intense emotion, especially when we don't feel capable of being with some of our emotions All pain is real - but the key is to understand that our pain does not always mean tissue damage, and often is an important message being relayed through the pain-fear response that some aspect of our lives that needs attention (bio-psycho-social sphere) Acknowledging that we often find identity through movement, and allowing ourselves to see that how we move is intimately connected to how we see ourselves The importance of focusing movement as a vehicle for pleasure, joy, and play Tips to support us in changing our relationship to pain Resourceshttps://www.mariejanicek.com/ (Marie's website) https://www.instagram.com/mariejanicek (IG @mariejanicek) https://evolna.uscreen.io/ (Join Evolna's Intuitive Movement Virtual Studio with 14-Day Free Trial) https://www.evolna.com/ (Evolna website) https://www.instagram.com/evolna_ (IG @evolna_) In this episodehttps://thefitnessmarshall.org/ (The Fitness Marshall) https://www.lin.health/ (Lin Health) Get in touch with Charliehttps://www.mperformance.com/ (Merrill Performance Website)...

There's something incredibly magical about hearing success stories of entrepreneurs, but finding the ones where the road to success was centered on following the call of the heart and the subtle messages it sends are few and far between. Enter Kristin Sudeikis — choreographer, artistic director, and CEO/Creator of FORWARD__Space based in downtown NYC where music, dance, culture, fashion + meet n' move. In the wake of the pandemic, she's been able to expand this magical combination through the FORWARD__Space Virtual Hub, now available in 102 countries. As a lifelong dancer and lover of movement, Kristin has always been fueled by the intention and desire to bring people together to connect to themselves, the other and then the greater world around them. For her movement — and dance especially — provides space for us to be fully embodied and connected to the ever-present now. Along with all her responsibilities as a entrepreneur, Kristin continues to choreograph and teach nationally + internationally for stage, film, events, brand collaborations and video including (but not limited to) Ben Harper, Mumford & Sons, Ivy Park, NYFW, FKA Twigs x NIKE, Brooklyn Museum, and the OBAMA White House. What we discussThe importance of slowing down to hear the call of our heart, the call of our deep desires and potential evolutions, and the difference of stillness as a choice rather than an afterthought Challenging the idea of “leave your problems at the door” — instead of leaving them at the door, bring it all in with you into your movement practice — bring your WHOLE self Appreciating the storytelling aspect of dance , and understanding the opportunity it provides for us to engage in a poetic conversation of mind and body The correlation between the mental health epidemic and the increasing disassociation from our bodies, and how the rise of technology has also moved us out of our bodies Understanding the balance of structure and freedom in movement space, and the importance of accessing both of these elements in our movement practices Emotions as energy in motion, and understanding the role movement plays in helping us connect with our emotional energies Energetic Health and it's ability to help us better understand the interconnected weave our of physical, mental, and emotional health Kristin's process in following her passion, and the importance of trusting in yourself, your vision, your dreams independently of what anyone else says or thinks ResourcesMarie's website https://www.instagram.com/mariejanicek (IG @mariejanicek ) https://evolna.uscreen.io/ (Join Evolna's Intuitive Movement Virtual Studio with 14-Day Free Trial ) Evolna website IG @evolna_ In this episodehttps://www.millermarley.com/MM/index.shtml (Miller Marley School of Dance ) https://www.google.com/search?q=martha+graham&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS910US912&ei=jJEFYpGKL7jC0PEPqJCg6AY&gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TcwMk82sDRg9OLNTSwqyUhUSC9KzEjMBQBeVQfZ&oq=martha&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYADIHCC4QsQMQQzIECAAQQzIICC4QgAQQsQMyCwguEIAEELEDEIMBMgsILhCABBCxAxCDATIICC4QgAQQsQMyCwguEIAEELEDEIMBMgQIABBDMgUIABCABDIFCAAQgAQ6BwgAEEcQsAM6BwgAELADEEM6CggAEOQCELADGAA6DAguEMgDELADEEMYAToPCC4Q1AIQyAMQsAMQQxgBOgQILhBDOgcILhDUAhBDOgcIABCxAxBDOgsIABCABBCxAxCDAToOCC4QgAQQsQMQxwEQowI6CgguELEDENQCEEM6CwguEIAEELEDENQCOggILhCxAxCDAUoECEEYAEoECEYYAVCs3wFYuuUBYNzvAWgIcAF4AIABlwKIAcAGkgEFMC41LjGYAQCgAQHIARHAAQHaAQYIABABGAnaAQYIARABGAg&sclient=gws-wiz (Martha Graham) https://www.google.com/search?q=pina+bausch&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS910US912&oq=pina+bausch&aqs=chrome..69i57j46i433i512j0i512l4j46i512j0i512l3.3861j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 (Pina Bausch) Get in touch with Kristinhttps://www.instagram.com/forward__space/ (IG @forward__space) Forward__Space Website https://www.instagram.com/kristinsudeikisdance/ (IG @kristinsudeikisdance) Kristin's Website Thank you so much for taking the time to tune in! Kathryn Birchwood believes that each of us is given a slice of time on this planet and gifted with unique talents to achieve our personal mission. And if it doesn't pass the ‘Rocking Chair Test', it isn't in line with your mission. After 20+ years in the corporate world, she felt that her skills and talents were wasted and undervalued, and that those jobs weren't worth the frustration. Using the same system that helped her tune in to the work she would enjoy and brought her more benefit with less stress, she created programs to help other women find the same clarity. In this episode we discussThe myth that even when work is unsatisfying or financially rewarding, you should “suck it up” Why your own wellbeing is more important than filling a role in which you are “replaceable” Following the stepping stones of your personal experience to discover the place you are meant to be How not to “Get stuck in the how” What happens when we end up sacrificing ourselves to achieve other people's goals The power of even small blocks of time to reclaim your personal power Balancing personal stress with financial stress, and the cost of ‘retail therapy' To learn more about Kathryn's “Get It Done” coaching and her “Midlife Business Launch Bootcamp”, visit her website: https://incomeideaincubator.com/Or receive her free guide, “How To Uncover The Money-Making Ideas Hidden in Your Skills, Talents & Experience” http://bit.ly/income-idea
Welcome to a special new series of episodes on the This Thing Called Movement Podcast: The Inner Circle As much as we love listening to interviews from experts and professionals about movement and wellness, there is also something especially powerful and magical about hearing the story of how a non-movement/fitness professional made an incredible transformation in relationship to their body. This new segment of the podcast features interviews with our Evolna community members who wanted to connect to movement and their bodies in a more authentic, integrated and powerful way. — Today's episode features Saleena Sidhu: a long-time client of Marie Janicek and one of the first students of the Evolna Intuitive Movement practice. Saleena lives in New York, NY where she is Vice President of Saratoga Medical. She is a wife, a mother of two, and even in the midst of the demanding lifestyle of a New Yorker juggling career, family, and social demands, she still has found time to prioritize and devote herself to her personal health and self-development through movement. We are so in awe of Saleena's story and the resonance of the many insights and pearls of wisdom shared in this episode, and hope it uplifts and inspires you within your own personal movement journey. What we discussThe arc of Saleena's personal movement journey: how she began taking fitness classes in her mid-twenties with no prior fitness or athletic experience and the steps that lead her into the many rich and diverse movement practices she engages with today Understanding fear as a natural part of the learning process Assessing where you are at and how you feel is the essential first step in setting up your movement and exercise practices, and a powerful tool to use in daily life situations as well The importance of more democratized movement education to empower people with the tools to better take care of themselves How movement (and intuitive movement) has influenced how she shows up as a professional, a wife, and a mother The life-lessons movement has taught her that have become instrumental in helping create more ease and flow in her day to day life Evolna Resourceshttps://evolna.uscreen.io/ (Evolna's digital movement studio is live! Bitcoin's 'Nakamoto Consensus' changed the world. For the first time ever, strangers on the internet were empowered by a system that allowed them to individually and jointly track who owned which internet-native items... First money, then early stage (and often illegal) investments, followed by digital cats, multi-million dollar art, viral memes and soon enough, well, everything. This episode is sponsored by Nexo.io and Bitstamp. If there's one complaint (whether right or wrong) about Satoshi's breakthrough, it's the energy cost it comes at.Whether you're talking about Bitcoin or the myriad other proof of work systems, 'Nakamoto Consensus' is a "competitive money burning process." Each time transactions are added to the permanent history it's a race to see who can prove their commitment to the network by finding the winning raffle ticket the fastest. Everyone races but only one wins and when each block is found, the process starts over. It's not a perfect system, but it works and it's the best one we've found... So far.In this premiere episode of "Hard Problems", join BitTorrent inventor and Chia CEO Bram Cohen, CoinDesk's Adam B. Levine, community members JMHands and Michel Erb for a lively discussion of Bram's newly launched reinvention of distributed, proof of work consensus known as Proofs of Space and Time.In it, we discussThe challenges Bram believes his new system resolvesHow 'Proofs of Space and Time' works compared to traditional 'Nakamoto Consensus'The differences between Bitcoin mining and Chia farmingWhy improving proof-of-work is the better choice than proof-of-stake or other consensus systemsPlus many questions from the live Clubhouse audience, with a special line of questioning from Tuur DemeesterIf you'd like to join the live audience for our next Clubhouse recording where Jeffrey "Sneak" Paul joins Bram to dig into the hard and growing problems behind Ransomware, follow 'bramcohen' and 'adamblevine' on Clubhouse.-Nexo.io lets you borrow against your crypto at 5.9% APR, earn up to 12% on your idle assets, and exchange instantly between 75+ market pairs with the tap of a button. Tis the season to be jolly and joyous! Fa la la!. Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of redemption and the Christmas Spirit never looked or sounded as fun, as charming, and dare I say, as Christmassey as it does in Jim Henson Productions’ The Muppet Christmas Carol. Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew – Ian, Liam, Ellie, and Georgia – along with Talking The Mickey’s Ethan - as we conclude our trilogy of Christmas Themed reviews with this the film that we declared to be the best Christmas film of all time in our most recent Reel Roundtable episode. There is no ignorance or want in our 45th review as we discussThe big shoes that the director and some of the voice cast had to fill after the death of Muppets creator, Jim HensonMichael Caine's perspective on how he played the characterWhich muppets were originally supposed to portray the three Christmas spiritsIf there a better Muppets pun than FozziwigHow is it possible that a bunch of puppets present death to children in a manner better than many other writers or actors should envyHow exactly did Brian Henson & company pull off some truly magical Muppet moments on screenWe discuss the changes made to Charles Dickens' story by Henson and those made by Disney and if they did the film a disserviceWe get into a debate on loneliness that we ask for your viewpoint onWhether it's fair or not to compare Muppet adaptations such as this to Original Muppet scriptsWe hear from many friends of the podcast as they send in their Christmas messagesWhether or not The Muppet Christmas Carol is the Best Film Ever
Many entrepreneurs and founders have recently realized that it makes more sense to buy a business than to build one from scratch. I like to think of this as the next evolution of skillsets for any entrepreneur because it helps you achieve inorganic and often exponential growth. On the other side, selling a business can be a massively impactful decision to any business owner's future and making sure you do it right is critical. That's why I invited Domenic Rinaldi on the show to talk about his experience in working directly with both buyers and sellers to help them navigate a complex transaction.Meet Domenic RinaldiAs owner and managing partner of Sun Acquisitions, and K2Adviser.com Domenic helps his clients both buy and sell businesses across a variety of industries.Since 2005 he’s been personally involved in over 300 transactions for businesses with enterprise values of $2 million to $50 million. In this episode we discussThe real risks that buyers and sellers face in the process of buying or selling a businessStrategies to prepare well before a purchase or a sale. How Private Equity (PE) groups are now dipping down into the small business market in their search for acquisition targetsWhich sectors are the hottest for sellers and PEAnd what to do if you're thinking about buying or selling now or in the near futureYou can get more information from Domenic by emailing him directly at domenic@k2adviser.com
The best way to hurt rich people is to turn them into poor people. So said the immortal Billy Ray Valentine as.this week we've woken up in our manor house to a smiling Eddie Murphy in Trading Places. Half social-commentary, half racially inappropriate and an ending that needs more than half of an explanation. Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew – Ian, Liam, & Ellie as we begin a trilogy of Christmas Themed reviews with this John Landis classic. Nobody wants to buy Louie’s drugs in our 43rd review as we discussThe original pairing that was supposed to headline this filmThe pay cuts that several actors had to take to get in the movieDoes the presence of black cast members excuse some of the racially inappropriate parts of this film or does it make it worse.Ian & Liam once again gush over how great the score to a film isWhat was Don Ameche so uncomfortable saying that he only allowed the crew to film one takeWhat’s the deal with the 15 foot high clothes peg?Who’s the only person involved in this film whose career doesn’t take off on account of the filmWe’ve got a casting story you’re not going to believe.Ian explains the confusing ending and we come to the conclusion that Billy Ray & Lewis commit several federal crimes. Is suicide ever funnyWhether or not Trading Places is the Best Film Ever

Multiple representatives of the Coronavirus Taskforce went on the Sunday shows to reassure and calm the American public regarding US public health readiness. Many officials, however, could not answer basic data requests or describe imminent plans. Surgeon General Jerome Adams could not say how many Americans have been tested for the Coronavirus on State of the Union. And HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson refused to describe to George Stephanopoulos a mitigation plan that would be implemented the very next day. As more and more states and cities learn of Coronavirus cases in their communities, local leaders will lean on the federal government for direction and guidance. If today’s shows are any indication, the White House and the Coronavirus Taskforce have a lot more work to do.
