Our intuition and energy are speaking to us all the time, it's just a matter of whether or not we listen. My guest this week, Dr. Kelly Edmonds, has built her work around assisting others to be able to hear in the silence. Dr. Kelly is a spiritual guide and healer who walks the path of awakening alongside those seeking to remember their Soul's sacred wisdom. For as long she can remember, Dr. Kelly has been listening to the unseen, to the body, to ancestry, and to the subtle ways life speaks through us. Over the years, through her own experience and in working with others, she began to see how often spiritual awakening leaves people feeling expanded, yet not fully at home in themselves. This was her experience, too, and her lifelong search for coherence. On this guest episode, Dr. Kelly shares how she wrote The Embodied Mystic as an invitation to come home to the body, to the deeper layers of self, and to a spirituality that can be lived gently and honestly. Her book reflects her belief that being fully human is not separate from spiritual evolution, it is the path itself. Kelly explains why your intuition isn't missing, it's just buried under noise, how energy speaks through the body (and how to listen), re-enchanting practice without chasing new techniques, discovering your inner magic and the power it unlocksBIO: Dr. Kelly Edmonds brings three decades of grounded work helping committed seekers move beyond surface spirituality into embodied transformation. Rooted in spirit connection, intuitive energy work and ancient mysteries, Kelly facilitates deep transformation—clearing old energy blocks, ancestral patterns and unveiling the magic within. She doesn't teach more techniques, she facilitates remembering and activation at the deepest level.Learn more about Kelly and her work here:  https://www.kellyedmonds.com/embodied-mystic

Join Circle at holplus.co/circle and use code PODCAST for a one-month trial. What if the real issue in women's health isn't that women are “doing it wrong,” but that the entire wellness system was built on research, protocols, and performance standards designed for male bodies? In this solo episode, Dr. Taz breaks down why bro science and modern biohacking culture often backfire for women, and how pushing harder, optimizing more, and chasing protocols can quietly drive hormone chaos, burnout, inflammation, and nervous system dysregulation. She explains why so many women are told their labs are “normal” while their bodies are clearly signaling that something is off, and how medical models that isolate symptoms fail to capture how women's systems actually work. This episode is rooted in the same clinical patterns that led Dr. Taz to writeThe Hormone Shift. After years of watching women come into her practice exhausted, inflamed, and dismissed by conventional care, she began documenting the repeating cycles she saw across life stages, from teens to perimenopause to post-menopause. You'll learn why women were historically excluded from research, how that gap still shapes today's treatment models, and why intensity, calorie restriction, and rigid optimization strategies may worsen hormonal imbalance, metabolic stress, and emotional exhaustion in female bodies. This episode reframes women's health as a whole-body system, not a protocol stack, and explores why safety, rhythm, recovery, and regulation matter more than force. This conversation reframes healing as a process of supporting interconnected systems, not overriding them. Hormones, gut health, immune function, nervous system regulation, emotional safety, stress load, and life stage are not separate variables. When these systems fall out of sync, symptoms multiply. When they are supported together, the body can restore balance, energy, and resilience.Dr. Taz shares: • Why bro science and biohacking trends often backfire for women • How “normal labs” can still mean your body is not functioning optimally • Why women's bodies were historically excluded from research and how that impacts care today • How pushing harder, restricting calories, and overtraining disrupt hormones and metabolism • Why women's nervous systems require safety, rhythm, and recovery to heal • How stress physiology, trauma patterns, and life stage shape women's health outcomes • Why hormones don't act in isolation, but communicate with the gut, immune system, and brain • Where modern tools like HRT, GLP-1s, peptides, and protocols fit and where they fall short • How to build a sustainable, personalized approach to women's health that works with the body, not against itWhether you're feeling dismissed by your labs, burned out from trying every new wellness trend, or frustrated by protocols that seem to work for others but not for you, this episode offers a grounded, integrative framework for understanding what women's bodies actually need.Women don't heal through force. They heal through safety, rhythm, and whole-system support.Stay Connected:Connect further to Hol+ at https://holplus.co/- Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay updated on future episodes of hol+.Follow Dr. Taz on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drtazmd/https://www.instagram.com/liveholplus/Subscribe to the audio podcast: https://holplus.transistor.fm/subscribeSubscribe to the video podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@DrTazMD/podcastsGet your copy of The Hormone Shift: Balance Your Body and Thrive Through Midlife and MenopauseHost & Production TeamHost: Dr. Taz; Produced by ClipGrowth.com (Producer: Pat Gostek)Chapters0:00 Women told it's “normal” and “in your head” 1:13 Holistic approach and the “five bodies” 1:25 Why Dr. Taz is done with “bro science” 4:25 “Your labs are normal” and the dismissal problem 5:20 Why biohacking culture worsens women's health 6:10 HRT, IVF, peptides, GLP-1s without a holistic context 8:18 Why AI and protocols can't replace the whole-woman lens 9:01 What bro science gets wrong (intensity, restriction, isolated hormones) 10:31 Life stage, stress load, nervous system, trauma, lineage 11:45 Bias against women and what it means in the exam room 13:28 Why “evidence-based” fails women when studies exclude women 14:20 What “evidence-based holistic medicine” actually means 16:19 Stats on women's health disparities and research gaps 17:55 Where are you on the health spectrum: powering through vs powering up 18:21 Identify your biggest symptom and quality-of-life limiter 20:00 Don't let “normal labs” end the story, track patterns over time 21:10 Female stress response, intuition, and cortisol sensitivity 24:15 Hormones, gut, immune system triangle and inflammation 27:00 Stress processing differences and guardrails 28:15 Safety as the foundation of women's health 30:10 Women's rhythms: hormones, sleep, food, nervous system 32:50 A woman's body doesn't respond to force 34:25 What holistic healing for women actually looks like 35:39 Closing: share this with a woman who needs it (00:00) - Women told it's “normal” and “in your head” (01:13) - Holistic approach and the “five bodies” (01:25) - Why Dr. Taz is done with “bro science” (04:25) - “Your labs are normal” and the dismissal problem (05:20) - Why biohacking culture worsens women's health (06:10) - HRT, IVF, peptides, GLP-1s without a holistic context (08:18) - Why AI and protocols can't replace the whole-woman lens (09:01) - What bro science gets wrong (intensity, restriction, isolated h...

In this episode of Next in Media, Mike Shields sits down with Leanne Perice, founder and CEO of Made by All, one of the creator economy's most distinctive talent management firms. Leanne shares how she built the company from the ground up over nine years, starting with a single $1,000 deal in 2014 and growing it into a global powerhouse that doubles revenue year over year. She explains how her early career at a celebrity endorsement agency gave her the blueprint for what great talent management looks like, and how she applied those lessons to an entirely new generation of digital creators. From signing Vine stars before the term 'creator economy' even existed, to opening a new office in Dubai, Leanne has built Made by All on the belief that creators deserve the same strategic investment as Hollywood's biggest names. Leanne also introduces her framework DASI (Distribution, Attention, Storytelling, and Impact) to explain what creators truly offer brands, and why so many marketers are still only tapping into the first letter. She opens up about the CMO turnover crisis slowing momentum in the creator space, why she launched Made by Us as a social storytelling studio, and why she believes YouTube's long-form monetization is the best opportunity in the market right now. She also gives her take on platforms like YouTube and TikTok brokering brand deals directly, the collision of Hollywood and Silicon Valley financial models, and what brands still get wrong about building a presence on social media. This episode is a must-listen for anyone at the intersection of media, marketing, and the creator economy.   Key Highlights

From Big Pharma to wellness influencers, Travis unpacks the tension between traditional medicine and holistic health—and why the real answer probably isn't on either extreme. Drawing from personal experience, including his own cancer diagnosis, Travis shares why critical thinking—not blind trust—is one of the most valuable skills you can develop in today's information economy. On this episode we talk about: The business model behind pharmaceutical advertising Wellness influencers vs. traditional medicine Why outsourcing your thinking is dangerous Navigating conflicting expert opinions Finding a balanced, holistic approach to health decisions Top 3 Takeaways Everyone Has an Incentive.Whether it's pharmaceutical companies, supplement brands, or media outlets, follow the money. Understanding incentives helps you evaluate advice more clearly. Outsourcing Your Thinking Comes at a Cost.Blind trust—on either side of a polarized debate—removes personal responsibility. Critical thinking is harder, but it's necessary. The Truth Is Often in the Middle.Western medicine has saved countless lives. Holistic practices can also play a powerful role. Click here for more on this topic and other free resources - https://www.drjimrichards.com What if the reason your success in one area keeps costing you peace, relationships, or health is because you were taught to pursue it the wrong way? In this message, I challenge the idea of vertical priorities and introduce a biblical approach that actually works in real life. Most believers have been taught to stack life into priorities: God first, family second, work next, yet everything we do affects everything else we value. When we live by this model, we end up jumping from one responsibility to another, feeling guilty, stressed, and often damaging the very relationships we are trying to protect. The real issue isn't commitment. It's perspective. Once you understand how God intended priorities to work, everything changes. I explain what it means to put God at the center instead of the top, so that your walk with Him increases the quality of your marriage, family, work, health, and peace. This is what I call holistic success. I also explore the biblical meaning of peace and prosperity through the word shalom, and why God gives us the power to get wealth without sorrow when success flows from wisdom and grace. If you're tired of making progress in one area while losing ground somewhere else, this message will help you reset your priorities, protect what matters most, and pursue success God's way, without leaving damage behind.

Jodi shares her journey bridging science, psychology, and traditional herbal medicine, from pre-med studies and work supporting underserved patients to building a family business rooted in the healing power of plants. What began as handcrafted herbal remedies made on the family farm has grown into a nationally recognized, women-led, B Corp-certified brand carried by major retailers—while still staying true to its original mission of natural, effective first aid and personal care.Jodi also discusses the realities of scaling a family farm into an FDA-regulated business, sourcing high-quality herbs from trusted growers worldwide, and maintaining sustainability through recyclable packaging and plant-based formulations. She reflects on the Scott family's pivotal decision to buy back the company in late 2025, returning leadership, restoring original formulas, and recommitting to transparency, community, and environmental stewardship. Along the way, listeners get a glimpse into daily life on the farm, tending animals, starting seeds for Colorado's short growing season, and keeping the land at the heart of the business. This conversation highlights resilience, responsible growth, and the enduring connection between agriculture, wellness, and family enterprise.Website: AmericanFamilyFarmerShow.com Social Media: @GoodDayNetworks

What if childhood eczema isn't a skin problem at all, but the body's first warning sign that something deeper is off?   In this episode, Corey and Christine sit down with holistic pediatrician Dr. Ana-Marie Temple (https://www.dranamaria.com/) to unpack what's really driving the dramatic rise in childhood eczema. From early antibiotic exposure and gut disruption to food sensitivities, stress, and the cycle of topical steroids, this conversation reframes eczema as a whole-body issue rather than something to simply “manage” on the surface.   Join our newly-launched Patreon community for ad-free episodes and early access, plus deeper conversations with our guests.

What if our cats aren't here to be “managed” — but to initiate us?In this episode of Mystic Dog Mama, I'm joined by Pam Roussell of Purrrfectly Holistic -  holistic pet health practitioner and devoted Cat Mom, for a conversation that invites us to slow down, listen more deeply, and rethink what health really means - for our animals and for ourselves.Pam shares her journey from the fitness industry into holistic pet health, shaped by her own healing and profoundly catalysed by the loss of her beloved cat, Snow Bear. His passing became a threshold moment — one that called Pam into a deeper relationship with intuition, energetics, and the wisdom of the body.Together, we explore the medicine of cats - why it's time to bring cats fully into holistic health conversations, and what they can teach us about curiosity, mysticism, and conscious care. We talk about the importance of getting to root causes rather than treating symptoms, the unique stressors many cats face (especially indoor cats), and how emotional, energetic, spiritual, and physical health are inseparable. This is also a conversation about agency - becoming your pet's health advocate, trusting your intuition, and how learning to advocate for your animals inevitably helps you step into deeper advocacy for yourself. We touch on the shadow side of the holistic health world, the danger of “doing everything right,” and why asking why matters more than ever. Pam also reflects on the spiritual significance of ailments, the different roles cats and dogs play in our spiritual development, and what the astrological shifts of 2026 and beyond are calling forward in how we think about health, healing, and support.Pam also shares gentle, practical insights for supporting your feline companions, along with her own daily practices with her cats - grounding this expansive conversation in everyday devotion. If your cat feels like a teacher, a mirror, or a guide in your life, this episode is an invitation to listen.Learn more about Pam's work: https://purrrfectlyholistic.comConnect with me!Website: https://mysticdogmama.comInstagram: https://instagram.comCome join my free Facebook group,  FETCH First Light.
