Listen… the market don't move off logic alone—it moves off Emotion. Fear. Greed. FOMO. Panic. That's what separates the wolves from the sheep. See, when the red hits the screen, most folks fold. They start reacting emotionally, making decisions from survival mode instead of strategy. But the trap taught me something deep… control your emotions, and you control your wealth. The market will test your Patience, your Discipline, your Faith. It'll humble you, and then offer you abundance… if you can stay grounded. Every dip ain't a disaster—it's a divine opportunity. But only the spiritually aligned gon' see that. This ain't just stocks—this is self-mastery. When the world's panicking, the Trapper's plotting. 'Cause I ain't in it for the quick flip—I'm in it for legacy. Welcome to the other side of the market. What does it really take for your teenager to trust you with everything? Are you creating a home where your wife feels truly safe to open up? Could a father-son conversation reveal the surprising answers? Today I'm bringing you something truly special: a replay of one of the most meaningful live Q&A sessions I've ever recorded. This one goes way back to 2023, and I had my oldest son, Ethan, who was just 17 at the time (he's 19 now) join me, along with 35 awesome guys from The Dad Edge Alliance. What made this conversation so powerful is that it was completely unscripted. Real questions, raw answers, and packed with the kind of gold you can only get from honest, open dialogue. Even though it was a live stream with our members, the themes we dove into are just as crucial today. In this episode, you'll hear us tackle some major challenges that I know resonate with so many of you: Connecting with Your Wife When She's Emotionally Distant: Real strategies for bridging that gap. Creating Psychological Safety in Conversations: How to foster an environment where true communication can thrive. Navigating Discipline Without Losing Connection with Your Kids: Ethan even chimes in with his perspective on this one! The Power of the Experience Cube: We explore this incredible conflict resolution tool (originally taught by ClearLeadership.com) that's a game-changer for tough conversations with your wife, kids, and even at work. But what truly blew me away during this Q&A was hearing, in his own words, what builds trust between Ethan and me. And spoiler alert: it's not about being the perfect dad. It's about something much more real: showing up, owning your mistakes, and spending genuine time together. I'm not going to lie, you might even hear a little emotion in my voice when Ethan starts talking about this–it really hit home the importance of creating that safe space where our kids feel they can tell us anything. So, whether you're a dad wanting to lead your family better, a husband striving for deeper connection, or just a man wanting to improve your relationships, this episode is packed with hard-earned wisdom. Sit back, relax, and get ready for some real talk that still rings true today. This special "WINSday" edition is all about celebrating our members' successes and sharing the valuable lessons they've learned on their journey to becoming better dads. Sit back, tune in, and get ready to be motivated by the remarkable guests of the Dad Edge community. www.thedadedge.com/alliance www.1stphorm.com/dadedge

Fox News anchor Julie Banderas joins Professor Nick Giordano to discuss her new children's book, A Monumental Mistake. This timely story that teaches kids the importance of respecting history, traditions, and each other in an increasingly divided America. But this episode doesn't stop there. Julie and Nick expose the media's complicity in the conspiracy to cover up former President Biden's cognitive decline, as Democrat insiders and legacy journalists rush to publish self-serving books to enrich themselves. This is a powerful conversation about the cultural rot in our society, the collapse of trust in the press, and what it will take to restore honesty and accountability in American life. Episode Highlights: Julie Banderas explains how A Monumental Mistake teaches kids to respect history and warns of the dangers of erasing America's past. A breakdown of how Democrat insiders and media elites conspired to cover up Biden's decline, and why they're scrambling to rewrite the narrative. Why trust in journalism has collapsed, and how the media's self-inflicted wounds have exposed a deeper crisis in America.

Regan Caruthers: Regan's path was informed by her early schooling where she meditated daily, practiced Tai Chi, and learned about the power of Divine Love and conscious thought. But she would reject these teachings as she sought to fit in and find social acceptance. Quickly rising through the ranks, Regan had a successful career as a Silicon Valley corporate executive in the educational software industry. But corporate ascension, an extra-marital affair, and a tumultuous first marriage were mere reflections of her brokenness and need for deep healing. Once she consciously committed to practicing what she had learned so young, her life began to change. Regan recently moved back to Missouri from Santa Cruz, CA. She's the founder of Aset Yoga Center and dedicates her life to teaching and helping her clients achieve a more intimate and disciplined inner life. Her compassionate approach creates safe spaces for transformation and wellness, through one-on-one coaching, yoga sessions, and her Ready to Awaken courses. She conducts yoga classes for her community as an act of service at no charge Above all, Regan cherishes her roles as a devoted wife to Jim and a loving mother to her sons, Connor and Ian. My own transformation began when I recognized the warning signs of burnout and chose to dig deeper into who I really am and what I need.Discipline, Emotional Intelligence, and Positive Thinking Are Non-Negotiable: Knowing what to do is just the start—committing to consistent action, processing challenges with emotional maturity, and maintaining positivity even in tough times are integral skills for sustained growth and impact.Optimize with Goals, Time, and Stress Management: True mastery means setting meaningful goals, managing your time intentionally, and developing ways to handle stress. Find routines and outlets—like I do with Marvel movies—that help you reset and stay on track for long-term success.Master Your Journey

Business ownership requires discipline. Which is self-control. Those who can rule themselves can run a business. You keep your business with Attention, Intolerance, Prudence, and Discipline. If you thought your business was worth building, it’s probably worth keeping as well. Work it, and keep it.

    Proverbs Daily Podcast

1 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool. 2 It isn't good to have zeal without knowledge, nor being hasty with one's feet and missing the way. 3 The foolishness of man subverts his way; his heart rages against Yahweh. 4 Wealth adds many friends, but the poor is separated from his friend. 5 A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free. 6 Many will entreat the favor of a ruler, and everyone is a friend to a man who gives gifts. 7 All the relatives of the poor shun him; how much more do his friends avoid him! He pursues them with pleas, but they are gone. 8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good. 9 A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who utters lies shall perish. 10 Delicate living is not appropriate for a fool, much less for a servant to have rule over princes. 11 The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense. 12 The king's wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass. 13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father. A wife's quarrels are a continual dripping. 14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh. 15 Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep. The idle soul shall suffer hunger. 16 He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. 17 He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him. 18 Discipline your son, for there is hope; don't be a willing party to his death. 19 A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty, for if you rescue him, you must do it again. 20 Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end. 21 There are many plans in a man's heart, but Yahweh's counsel will prevail. 22 That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar. 23 The fear of Yahweh leads to life, then contentment; he rests and will not be touched by trouble. 24 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. 25 Flog a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke one who has understanding, and he will gain knowledge. 26 He who robs his father and drives away his mother is a son who causes shame and brings reproach. 27 If you stop listening to instruction, my son, you will stray from the words of knowledge. 28 A corrupt witness mocks justice, and the mouth of the wicked gulps down iniquity. 29 Penalties are prepared for scoffers, and beatings for the backs of fools. In this sermon, Pastor Carolyn Wilson centers on God's enduring love and faithfulness toward Israel, urging Christians to stand in prayerful solidarity with the Jewish people. She explains that this emphasis is part of a larger movement among churches to dedicate time to pray for Israel's peace and protection. Carolyn organizes her message around six key points. First, she recounts how God chose Israel out of love through His covenant with Abraham, making them His treasured possession. Second, while Israel has often turned away from God and faced discipline, God has never abandoned them, always maintaining His covenantal love. Third, she challenges replacement theology—the idea that the Church has replaced Israel in God's plan—stressing that God's promises to Israel are unbreakable and warning against the antisemitism tied to this belief. Fourth, Wilson highlights Jesus' tears for Jerusalem as a reflection of God's compassionate heart for His people. Fifth, she points to the ongoing restoration of Israel—including the reestablishment of the nation and the revival of the Hebrew language—as proof that God keeps His promises. Finally, she calls Christians to reject theological arrogance and antisemitism, pray for Israel, share the Gospel with humility, and celebrate God's faithfulness.

What If Obedience Isn't the Same as Respect? We all want to raise good kids — respectful, obedient, and successful. But what if obedience is just compliance… no connection? In this episode, I dive deep into the final chapter of Netflix's Adolescence, and the heartbreaking unraveling of Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old boy whose silent pain led to tragedy. His father, Eddie, never saw it coming. Why? Because the connection was missing, even though he thought he was doing everything “right.” I open up about how even committed, hardworking dads like us can miss the quiet red flags our kids are waving. We explore how our need to discipline, protect, and “fix” can sometimes get in the way of the one thing our kids need most: to feel seen and safe. This episode isn't about shame. It's about waking up. Because your influence as a dad doesn't come from authority—it comes from emotional safety. If you've ever believed “my kid is doing fine,” this might be the most eye-opening 20 minutes you'll spend all year. I'll also give you a practical framework to help you ask better questions, create deeper emotional connections, and build a relationship your kids will trust—especially when things get tough. Research indicates that setting specific, shared goals increases the likelihood of improved communication and intimacy by 35%. Prioritizing quality time has been shown to reduce feelings of loneliness in relationships by 20%. I don't just want my son to be “nice.” I want him to be dangerous. Not reckless, not cruel—dangerous. The kind of man who knows how to protect, provide, and stand tall when life throws punches. Because the world doesn't care about your feelings. It respects strength, discipline, and men who can carry the weight when others fold. Raising a dangerous man doesn't mean teaching violence—it means teaching control. It's about sharpening his instincts, hardening his resolve, and building a code he can live by. I want him to have the confidence that only comes from knowing he can handle himself and protect what matters. A man who's capable of violence but chooses peace? That's a man people respect. That's a man people follow. That's who I'm raising. Softness isn't safety. Compliance isn't strength. I'd rather raise a lion and teach him restraint than raise a sheep and pray he never meets a wolf. So no, I'm not raising him to be palatable to the world. I'm raising him to be prepared—for the weight of responsibility, for danger, for leadership. Because one day, it won't be me protecting him. It'll be him protecting others.

From time to time I am contacted by someone who says they have an interesting and thought provoking guest who would be perfect for Unstoppable Mindset. Such was the case when I was contacted about our guest this time, Dre Baldwin. Dre and I had an initial conversation and I invited him to appear as a guest. I must say that he more than exceeded my expectations. And now he is back for a second time with us with more stories and insights.   You may recall from my first episode with him that Dre grew up in Philadelphia. He wanted to do something with sports and tried out various options until he discovered Basketball in high school. While he wasn't considered overly exceptional and only played one year in high school he realized that Basketball was the sport for him.   Dre went to Penn State and played all four of his college years. Again, while he played consistently and reasonably well, he was not noticed and after college he was not signed to a professional team. He worked at a couple of jobs for a time and then decided to try to get noticed for basketball by going to a camp where he could be seen by scouts and where he could prove he had the talent to make basketball a profession. As he will tell us, eventually he did get a contract to play professionally. Other things happened along the way as you will hear. Dre discovered Youtube and the internet and began posting basketball tips which became popular.   In this episode we continue to discuss with Dre the lessons he wishes to convey as well as his life philosophy. Dre discuss more about the value and need for personal initiative. He tells us the value of having a personal initiative mindset and how that can lead to high performance.   I asked Dre about how playing basketball prepared him for his work in business. His answer will surprise you. It did me. As he points out, his business preparation came earlier and in different ways than playing basketball.   I also asked Dre why he left playing professional basketball. Again, his answer is fascinating. I will leave that for Dre to tell you.   I hope you enjoy my talk with Dre as much as I. Dre Baldwin provided many lessons we all can use. Who knows? Dre, you and I may talk again. Peter confronts them, and both are struck dead by God, instilling fear throughout the church. Meanwhile, the apostles continue to preach about Jesus and heal many who are sick. Motivated by jealousy, the high priest and the Jewish Council arrest the apostles. However, God sends an angel to release them, and they return to the temple to resume their teaching. They are brought before the Council again but boldly proclaim that they must obey God and teach about Jesus as the risen Savior and King. Gamaliel, a Pharisee, warns that opposing these men could mean standing against God. The apostles are beaten and released but rejoice in their suffering and continue to preach about Jesus openly.  God values honesty, integrity, and sincerity among His people. The deaths of Ananias and Sapphira remind us that we cannot hide anything from God, and when we commit to Him, He expects faithfulness. It may be that these two sought recognition like Barnabas received but lacked the genuine faith to carry out the act of charity. In contrast, the apostles demonstrate self-sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the Savior. They were willing to bear the cost and even rejoiced in the opportunity to suffer as Christ did. God protected them and used their faith to encourage and help others. The opposition faltered in the face of their dedication to Christ. God will also be with us if we show authentic faithfulness. Faithful God, we know that You expect honesty and integrity from Your children. Please forgive our selfishness and hypocrisy. Help us learn from the failings of Ananias and Sapphira and take our commitment to You seriously. Discipline us to live like the apostles, actively assisting others and remaining steadfast in our vocal allegiance to King Jesus. Civil authorities and even religious leaders may oppose our simple, trusting faith. Lord, help us declare, “We must obey God rather than men,” and continue teaching repentance and the forgiveness of sins through Jesus. Train us to be joyful and confident in our Christian walk.  Thought Questions: -       Why did Ananias and Sapphira lie about the money they gave? How do you keep greed from getting in the way of faithfulness? -       Even the shadow of Peter healed people as he walked by. Do you believe in God's limitless power to heal and help today? -       Where do you encounter opposition to your faith and your stand for Jesus? What is the right way to handle difficult confrontations?

There's a lot of work to do to build your business. Getting distracted with your shovel or being impressed with new hammer models every few hours compromises future progress in your project as you chase after a shiny object time and time again, instead of focusing on the work in front of you. A steady and stable course at a sustainable pace is what helps you get to the next layer in your wall. You need discipline to work it. "Working it" means cultivating, building, and growing. It requires Ambition, Shrewdness, Risk, and Discipline. Owning and managing a business is working it and keeping it. Next time, we'll talk about keeping it. For now, get after it, and work it.
