Nancy J. Duncan has had an eclectic career spanning over 50 years of experience in the performing arts as a dancer, educator, producing director, manager, and arts management consultant.Nancy's dance training started under Nevorah Adams in South Dakota and it was through Nevorah's hosting of a summer dance residency taught by Loyce Houlton and two of her dancers, Frances Machala and David Voss, that her passion for dancing fully ignited. Under the tutelage of Houlton and her beautiful, diverselyskilled dancers and many guest artists at the Contemporary Dance Playhouse in Minneapolis, later renamed Minnesota Dance Theater, Nancy developed her skills as a dance teacher and performer.Upon moving to New York City in 1981, Nancy began forming her own artistic vision and mission greatly inspired by Loyce Houlton's vision. Working in partnership with composer Scott Killian and dancer Jackie Goodrich, and in consultation with Lawrence Rhodes, esteemed dancer, teacher and Chair of the New York University Tisch School for the Arts Dance department, Nancy conceived and founded CoDanceCo (collaborative dance company).Nancy and her team established CoDanceCo as a production company devoted to nurturing the creative development of dance artists and providing audience access to outstanding dance artistry that reflected the creativity and eclecticism of contemporary dance. CoDanceCo was designed as a highly flexible organizational model that could adapt to the ever-changing world of dance creators, performers, collaborators, educators, presenters, and audiences. From 1982-1991 Duncan commissioned and presented works created by 28 choreographers, 14 composers, and 50 dancers. Choreographers commissioned over the years include Eiko & Koma, Ralph Lemon, Susan Marshall, Bebe Miller, Mark Morris, Charles Moulton, Ohad Naharin, Doug Varone, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane, among others. Duncan's work through CoDanceCo garnered Duncan a 1991 New York Dance and Performance Award Citation (aka Bessie).Highlights from 1991-2003 include serving as the artistic director for London Contemporary Dance Theatre; producer of a four-week British dance festival in New York City, project management for Arts International, and Community Outreach Programs Director for Mikhail Baryshnikov's White Oak Dance Project production PastForward, touring both nationally and internationally. From 1996-2003, under the umbrella of CoDanceCo, Duncan managed to keep producing projects to support dance artists and their audiences through her membership in the New York State DanceForce. The projects were accomplished in partnership with NY state artists, presenters, and educators. In 2003 Duncanrelocated to Long Island and established a new home base for her work through CoDanceCo. During this time Duncan also served as a member of the Suffolk County Citizens Arts Advisory Board, became a founding member of the Patchogue Arts Council, served on the Board of the Patchogue Theater, among other opportunities. In 2006, Duncan was introduced to Pierre Dulaine's arts-in-education, social-emotional in-school residency program titled “Dancing Classrooms.” Working in partnership with Dulaine, Duncan secured a two-year grant from the Dana Foundation to have CoDanceCo become the licensed national network affiliate site on Long Island. Pierre and his staff trained Duncan and a team of teaching artists in the Dancing Classrooms syllabus and the company launched its first in-school residencies in the winter of 2008. Since the founding of DancingClassrooms on Long Island, CoDanceCo's teaching artists have touched the lives of over 30,000 youth, adults, educators and families with the transformative power of Dancing Classrooms. For youth and adults alike, the program creates meaningful social connections, inspires respect for diversity, and instills self-confidence all through the joy of social dance.

Jack Viertel is an American theatrical producer and writer. During his 34 years at Jujamcyn Theaters from 1987 to 2021, he occupied positions including Creative Director and Senior Vice President. He was "conceiver of the longest running musical revue in Broadway history, Smokey Joe's Cafe, conceived the critically acclaimed After Midnight, and served as the dramaturg for Hairspray. The musical and movie The Prom were developed from his original concept." From 2000 to 2020, he was a producer at the Encores! series. Under his tenure, several Encores! productions transferred to Broadway, including After Midnight, The Apple Tree, Finian's Rainbow, and Gypsy. In 2003, he began lecturing at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He developed the content of his music theatre studies course into a book, The Secret Life of the American Musical, published in 2016. Reviews were largely positive, with The New York Times calling it "revelatory and entertaining." Broadway Melody traces three lives through the early ambitions and unlikely pathways that landed all of them in the same place at the same time - 1960s Broadway. Woven through its pages are the hits and flops, the making and breaking of careers, the destruction of three historic theater buildings, the plague of AIDS, the machinations of union bosses and producers, and, of course, the world outside this insular community - the audience that looks to Broadway for emotional thrills, for enlightenment, and for pure entertainment.Laced with humor and sadness, portraits of historical characters from The Street and a long view of the rise, fall and revival of Times Square itself, Broadway Melody stitches three lives - and three hearts - into the fabric of an endlessly compelling tale of the American theater.

The festival! The festival! It's almost here! Come join Connor as he chats with the writer of this season's Don and Bell: Harris Singer! A BPPF veteran, Harris is a man if many talents. Listen in as the two discuss his new play and his life as an artist. Play SynopsisDon and Bell are having a bit of a crisis, or at least one of them thinks it's a crisis and the other simply exists as crisis. It's Marriage Story meets slacker comedies from the 2000's. It's your relationship on LSD. It's your dads love story but post-modern. It's trash, but it's our trash. Have fun contemplating your choices, but maybe that's the issue. Stop contemplating and just jump, right? At least that's what Bell thinks. The ArtistHarris Singer is (usually) a New York City (but currently Atlanta) based actor, playwright, designer, poet, and model. Born in Georgia, he moved to New York City to study and was at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where he pursued drama at the Playwrights Horizons Theatre Studio. He recently went farming across America to learn about sustainable living. He currently is in the process of spontaneous combustion, but also trying to start a community farm for the houseless community in Atlanta, write a poetry collection about escaping family in all its forms, and maybe, just maybe, getting some acting and playwriting in there as well. You can find his most recent visual work, an animation called Ground Orange, as well as a continuous project “monologue a week”, on his YouTube channel. Harris is often in pursuit of inspiration and friends, so feel free to contact him through his Instagram @wacky.inflatablefanman, his Twitter @wackyfanman, or his email harris.singer@nyu.edu.

Stephanie Czajkowski:Actress Stephanie Czajkowski (pronounced check-house-key) returns as the bald badass Hammerhead in Season 2 of DC's superhero series DOOM PATROL, premiering June 25th on HBO Max and DC Universe. The critically acclaimed first season introduced DOOM PATROL as a re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved group of disfigured and outcast superheroes, including Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) and the 64 personalities wrestling for control of her mind. The one packing a powerful punch is Hammerhead (Czajkowski), a born fighter with a bad attitude who comes into play again during Season 2 as Jane is challenged to grow beyond her past traumatic experiences.Czajkowski is excited to return as the bald fan favorite again this season, “I never thought I'd be so excited to shave my head, but as soon as I found out HAMMERHEAD was returning, I had my clippers at the ready. Now in remission, this seemingly healthy fitness fanatic has juggled a thyroid removal, six chemo sessions, a double mastectomy and 25 sessions of radiation for she what she calls her “cancer trifecta”. In an effort to deal with her roller-coaster reality.Originally from Wisconsin, Czajkowski earned a degree from the prestigious New York University Tisch School of The Arts and continued honing her craft at Playwright's Horizon and Steppenwolf Theatre before moving to Los Angeles.Czajkowski and her writer husband have chronicled her health journey on their humorous blog: http://ChemoSkinny.comComplete Radio Promotional Package Playlist:1. The limiting beliefs and stories that actors tell themselves “If it feels good, do it.” The fear-based herd mentality actor info that’s prevalent. Personality is 90% of the performance. “Show people what they didn’t know what they wanted yet.” Acting is you under the influence of the character. The mistake actors make is, "how am I supposed to play this character?" No character or scene description is something you ever have to obey. The markers of "good" acting: If it’s not fun, it’s not working It's effortless Creating Impact You feel like you Joseph Pearlman's thoughts about having managers/representation. State of the Art Founder Ethan James Appleby returns to introduce our new host, Gabriel Barcia-Colombo (aka Gabe), and SOTA's return to its roots primarily as an art + tech podcast. Gabe was previously a guest on the podcast, back in 2018 in episode 48 "The Art of Collecting Memories". Together they discuss Gabe's latest projects and where he plans on taking the podcast. You can email Gabe at gabe@thestateoftheart.org-About Gabriel Barcia-Colombo-Gabriel Barcia-Colombo is a mixed media artist whose work focuses on collections, memorialization and the act of leaving one's digital imprint for the next generation. His work takes the form of video sculptures, immersive performances, large scale projections and vending machines that sell human DNA. His work plays upon this modern exigency in our culture to chronicle, preserve and wax nostalgic, an idea which Barcia-Colombo renders visually by “collecting” human portraits on video.Gabriel was commissioned to be the first digital artist to show work at the New Fulton Terminal Stop with the MTA Arts & Design program in New York City. His work has been featured in the Volta, Scope, and Art Mrkt art fairs, Victoria & Albert Museum as well as Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library. He recently received an Art and Technology grant from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art where he created "The Hereafter Institute," a company that questions the future of death rituals and memorials and their relationship to technology. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Gabriel served as a member of the artist advisory board at the New York Foundation for the Arts, as well as the education committee member at the Museum of Art and Design. In 2012 Gabriel gave a TED talk entitled "Capturing Memories in Video Art," and in 2014 he gave another entitled "My DNA Vending Machine" and was awarded a Senior TED fellowship. In 2016 Gabe founded Bunker.nyc a pop up gallery showcasing emerging art made with technology. Bunker became the first pop up digital art gallery to open in the Sotheby's Auction House in New York Summer 2017. Luckily I got to speak to Bill Duke! Film director and actor Bill Duke was born on February 26, 1943 in Poughkeepsie, New York and is the son of Ethel Douglas Duke and William Duke, Sr. After earning his A.A. degree from Dutchess Community College, Duke became interested in the performing arts while attending Boston University, although he initially enrolled as a pre-med student. He eventually majored in theater there and then went on to earn a M.A. degree in fine arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Duke later enrolled in the American Film Institute (AFI). Duke began his career as an actor in New York City theaters like The Public Theater and New Federal Theater, performing in plays such as LeRoi Jones' Slave Ship and Melvin Van Peebles’ musical Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death. Duke’s first movie role came in 1976 when he portrayed a fierce young Black Muslim revolutionary named “Abdullah Mohammed Akbar” in Car Wash. Duke’s television directorial debut came in 1982 when he directed episodes of Knot's Landing, Falcon Crest, and Flamingo Road for Lorimar Productions. Duke's most prominent and critically acclaimed television work, however, has been his direction of teleplays for the PBS series American Playhouse including “The Killing Floor,” “A Raisin in the Sun,” and “The Meeting,” a 90-minute drama that depicted an imaginary meeting between Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X. During the 1980s, Duke amassed more than 100 television directing credits, including more than 70 episodes of roughly 20 television series such as Miami Vice, Dallas, Crime Story, Cagney and Lacey and Hill Street Blues. Duke directed his first feature film in 1990, a film adaptation of Chester Himes' novel A Rage in Harlem. Duke went on to direct many other films including Deep Cover, Sister Act 2, Hoodlum and Deacons for Defense. In 2004, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Duke to the California Film Commission, which works to enhance the economic climate of the state by keeping film industry jobs in California. Duke also works with non-profit and charity organizations such as Educating Young Minds, an organization that helps inner-city students excel at school and in life. Duke is the recipient of numerous awards including the AFI’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the NAACP’s Special Award for Outstanding Achievement, SCLC’s Drum Major for Justice Film Award and a Cable Ace Award. President Bill Clinton appointed Duke to the National Endowment for the Humanities. Dating back to the 1970s, Duke has appeared in a number of popular films, including Car Wash, American Gigolo, Commando, Predator, and X-Men: The Last Stand. I had the pleasure of chatting with Brian this week about his Emmy nomination for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, his summer camp background that got him into film and his collaborations with Lee Daniels and John Cameron Mitchell. By the end it turns a bit into an impromptu gushing about his work on NBC's Kings and a promo for his new film We the Animals, which is in theaters now. GO SEE IT. You can see Brian's work next in the upcoming Tamara Jenkins film Private Life, which will world premiere at the New York Film Festival next month. There also might be a bit of tea spilled on an upcoming sequel to a gay classic. This interview runs just shy of 37m with music. We were introduced to the fascinating work of Gabriel Barcia-Colombo when we stumbled across his TedTalk "Capturing memories in video art" in which Gabe discussed his memorialization of friends via virtual and cellular means. His piece, Animalia Chordata, reads like a cabinet of curiosity displaying people trapped in glass jars, individuals who seemingly respond to one's presence; others are a little less humorous and a tad unsettling, like his DNA Vending machine which grants patrons the opportunity to purchase actual DNA samples. In all of his projects, Gabe explores and plays with capturing memories, the role of technology in society, the virtual and physical identities we create across platforms, and so much more.In this episode, we speak with Gabe about his mixed-media, interactive work, his personal trajectory from cinema to digital art, his projects with Soethby', the reception and role of tech art in the art world, and the future of art and ownership.-About Gabriel Barcia-Colombo-Gabriel Barcia-Colombo is a mixed media artist whose work focuses on collections, memorialization and the act of leaving one's digital imprint for the next generation. Gabe is a New York Foundation for the Arts grant awardee and faculty member at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. You can learn more about Gabriel Barcia-Colombo hereFollow Gabe @gabebcTweet him @gabebcCover art by Graydon Speace

Ayelet HaShachar, a contemporary women's Jewish music ensemble, features Lisa Aronson Friedman on keyboard and vocals, Shalomis Koffler Weinreb on guitar, percussion and vocals, and Stephanie Rabinowitz on vocals. Drawing on an extensive musical background, the trio blends original songs, unique vocal, and instrumental arrangements, and beautiful harmonies to create sounds of deepest feeling that inspire and uplift. Their music is a sensitive expression of eternal Jewish themes, resonating with meaning for our Times. Ayelet HaShachar has had three major areas of focus: to be true to Jewish and Torah values, to hold their music to a high standard of professionalism, and to use their talents and time to do chesed, tzeddakah, etc. As such, They founded their non-profit company: Singer-songwriter-guitarist-percussionist Shalomis Koffler Weinreb has performed professionally for 40 years, beginning with a tour of Europe and Iceland as lead female vocalist and keyboardist for a seven-member USO rock ‘n roll band, performing for standing-room-only crowds of up to 5,000. Upon returning to America, Shalomis played rock, blues and top-40 music in clubs throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Before becoming religious and joining Ayelet HaShachar, she produced two albums of original, spiritual music, I Become the Eagle and Messengers Of Light, she was named one of the 100 Best and Brightest Young People in Advertising by Advertising Age magazine. Shalomis' song, Peace Pilgrim, was used as the soundtrack for the internationally known documentary, Peace Pilgrim: An American Sage Who Walked Her Talk. Pianist-singer-composer Lisa Aronson Friedman began her piano studies at the age of 5. She studied with her own father, with Harold Pries, and finally with his son, Roger Pries, who debuted with the National Symphony at age 17. Lisa also studied music theory at the American University preparatory department in Washington, DC. She was her high school choir accompanist, began some performance singing during those years and studied the guitar as well. She attended Oberlin College where she majored in mathematics instead of music, but did take music classes, sang in the Oberlin Chorus, and performed in coffee houses prior to become observant. Lisa had the role of Hodel in the Baltimore P'TACH performance of Anatevka (Fiddler on the Roof), and fit the music in when possible as she raised her children.Dina Blaustein, A”h introduced her to Stephanie. Together, they started a duo which eventually became Ayelet HaShachar. During the day, Lisa is a biostatistician at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Stephanie Rabinowitz, on vocals, graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and studied voice, theatre, and movement at New York's Circle-in-the-Square Studio. She worked in production at the Classic Stage Company repertory theatre in New York City and performed in Fiddler on the Roof at Baltimore's Spotlighter's Theatre. After becoming religious, Stephanie performed in women's musical theatre productions in Flatbush and Baltimore and directed the Jewish women's choir which performed annually to benefit the local day school. All of this until HaShem led her to the wonderful musicians of Ayelet HaShachar, and the rest is history. Ayelet HaShachar is available for live performances for Jewish women of all ages, educating and inspiring its audiences with themes and insights from sacred Jewish texts, providing the opportunity for its audiences to personally experience and connect to Jewish prayer. Ayelet HaShachar has recorded two albums of original music, Ohr Chadash (2005) and Matai (2013), and are currently working on the third. The debut concert on 9/9/2001, entitled “Prayer Through Music” was a major fundraiser for victims of terror in Israel. We have twice performed at Chol Hamo'ed Sukkot concerts at Brooklyn College as well as several concerts in the Philadelphia area. Ayelet HaShachar has traveled to Israel four times, performing in Yerushalayim in conjunction with the Israeli band Tofa'ah, in Ramat Beit Shemesh to raise money for Gush Katif kallot, in Telzstone, at the commencement program for Ahavas Yisrael in Yerushalayim, and at Heichal Shlomo in Yerushalayim to raise money for the victims of the Carmel fire. We have performed countless times in Baltimore, including two concerts at the Gordon Center for the Performing Arts to benefit the Jewish Caring Network, at a Women's Institute of Torah Day of Learning (where we gave a workshop on z'mirot), at a benefit concert with Baltimore's former band, Encore, to raise money for Gush Katif, in addition to multiple concerts for the Etz Chaim Center. Born in England of Jamaican parents (her mother Vera an art historian and museologist and her father Charles an actor/broadcaster/comedian), Michael received her earliest education and what she considers her most formative years abroad. At the age of ten, she migrated to the United States with her mother and two siblings. Living in Maryland and later Washington, DC, Michael slowly adjusted to the American way of life. She went on to study acting at Howard University for her undergraduate degree and continued at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts for her Masters. Before Michael's work in film and television, she enjoyed memorable performances on stages throughout the country, most notably is her experience on Broadway in the critically acclaimed Ragtime. Although Michael is automatically considered an African-American, because of her international background she eagerly acknowledges that she is more specifically an African/British/Jamaican/American and any attempt to exclude any part of that reality would be an incorrect representation of who she truly is. The actress Michael Hyatt has been a part of some of the television’s most iconic series – from “The West Wing,” to “The Wire,” “True Detective,” and a hilarious role on the web series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” Her recent turn on the silver screen was in “Night Crawler,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Hyatt currently stars as Detective Sheila Muncie on the award-winning Showtime drama series “Ray Donovan,” Also the New FX's Snowfall - John Singleton & Short Film -Dara Ju. Adria's grandfather, Sam Tannenbaum, was a song-plugger for Irving Berlin who changed his German surname to Tennor to sound more American. Her grandmother taught her all these songs as she grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She studied acting and directing at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts. Her first role was as a 12-year-old boy talking about in Tompkins Square Park with an amnesiac in Hal Hartley's movie, Amateur (1994). With a few more film roles under her belt, Tennor moved to Los Angeles to work in television. There, she also performs her one-woman shows regularly around town, There's Not a Lot of Coat Check Work in LA, Electro Magnetic Stripper, and most recently Strip Search, inspired by her studies in pole dancing with Sheila Kelley at The S Factor Studio. She lives with her restaurateur husband, Claudio Blotta. Adria's acting credits include You Don't Mess With the Zohan, The Artist and AMC' s Mad Men.
April thought she had finally found Mr. Right and became engaged after just three dates with the man of her dreams. However, her fiancé became increasingly jealous of her 16 ventriloquist puppets that she uses in her one-woman touring show. In less than a year, he gave her an ultimatum: “It's either me or your puppets!”The British tabloid “The Daily Mail” ignited a firestorm of press coverage for April Brucker with a feature story headlined, “Ventriloquist who splashes out £134,000 a year on her 16 PUPPETS that even have their own bedroom dumps her fiancé after he tells her, ‘It's them or me!'”The story spread internationally thanks to dozens of foreign newspapers and magazines and went viral on the Web. And then came obsessed suitors from all over the world. Now her dating resume includes stalkers, ex-cons and of course restraining orders. Police sirens often accompany April when she is breaking up with an obsessed suitor.April isn't asking for the moon. She doesn't want a doctor, lawyer, or Native American chieftain. Nope, those are pipe dreams her mother told her to abandon long ago: “Sweetie, just remember people don't want to break up with you.” April Brucker just wants a dude who can put up with 16 puppet children, a closet full of costumes, boxes of books and comics and her love for non-fiction history documentaries and pretzels. If you can deal with those things, you are Mr. Okay and maybe your one arrest and partial lobotomy just may be okay, too.April earned her BFA in Acting in 2007 from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and in 2019 was awarded an MFA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting from Antioch University Los Angeles. She has been a volunteer advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness, LGBTQ+ rights, cervical cancer awareness, anti-bullying, domestic violence prevention and body positivity. She has authored "Don't Read My Lips! — America's Foremost Female Ventriloquist Reveals the Secrets of a Successful Vent" (ISBN: 0984208585) and “I Came, I Saw, I Sang: Memoirs of a Singing Telegram Delivery Girl” (ISBN 0741477939), which are available from bookstores and online retailers.April currently is appearing as the special guest star in "BurlesQ," an all-female review at Alexis Park Resort Las Vegas. The Consumer VC: Venture Capital I B2C Startups I Commerce | Early-Stage Investing
We have a few Office Hours / AMAs coming up -> https://theconsumervc.com/events/ Kanyi Maqubela ( http://kanyi.me/ ) is a Managing Partner at Kindred Ventures ( https://kindredventures.com/ ). Kindred Ventures is a seed-stage venture capital fund, whose mission is to back visionary and dedicated founders who want to solve the most important problems and vastly improve people's lives around the world. Some of their investments include Uber, Poshmark, Otis and Blue Bottle Coffee. Prior to Kindred, Kanyi was a Partner at Collaborative Fund and co-founded Heartbeat Health. He previously ran growth at One Block Off the Grid and was an early employee at Doostang. Kanyi has also served as a Lecturer and Adjunct at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, a curriculum adapted from his time as a student at Stanford University. This was an amazing conversation about Kanyi's journey both as a founder and investor, his mission and what he looks for from founders. Without further ado, here's A couple of books the inspired Kanyi are The Structure of Scientific Revolutions ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0226458083?camp=1789&creativeASIN=0226458083&ie=UTF8&linkCode=xm2&tag=theconsumervc-20 ) by Thomas Kuhn and Doing Capitalism in the Innovation Economy ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1108471277?camp=1789&creativeASIN=1108471277&ie=UTF8&linkCode=xm2&tag=theconsumervc-20 ) by William Janeway. A book that inspired him personally is I highly recommend following Kanyi on Twitter @km ( https://twitter.com/km ). You can also visit his website Kanyi.me ( http://kanyi.me/ ) to read his articles and listen to some of his other interviews. You can also follow your host, Mike, on Twitter @mikegelb ( https://twitter.com/MikeGelb ). You can also follow for episode announcements @consumervc ( https://twitter.com/ConsumerVc ). Some of the questions I ask Kanyi - * What compelled you to drop out of Stanford, founding Doostang and what initially attracted you to technology and entrepreneurship? What were some of the mistakes you made as an entrepreneur? What compelled you to switch to the other side and become an investor? How has venture capital changed? How has venture capital and domain expertise changed? How do you filter inbound opportunities and your due diligence process? * What are qualities that a founder needs to have or milestones a company needs to reach in order for you to be interested? What do you most pay attention to when analyzing an opportunity and what do you pay least attention to? For entrepreneurs building a company in a market that may not exist yet, how should they think about market sizing? * CoronaVirus is very top of mind. Has this impacted how you invest? Are you more focused on current portfolio companies rather than new investments? * How are you adjusting to new work protocols? * *Is it harder to establish conviction in founders since you are meeting them remotely rather than in person?* * Has COVID changed how you think about investing in fully distributed teams or teams that are located in secondary markets? * How should founders think of pivoting at the early stages? Can founders pivot too quickly? * What's some advice for founders that live in secondary and tertiary markets? Or maybe simply don't have a network of VCs? * What are some consumer trends that you are focused on? * Has CoronaVirus changed how you invest at Kindred? * Are you starting to see discrepancies in valuations? * Are VCs starting to pull back in order to focus on their current portfolio companies? * What's one thing that you would change when it came to venture capital? * What's one company on your anti-portfolio? * What's your most recent investment and what makes you excited about it?
