The jury in the Lindsay Clancy remains deadlocked. Allie explains the possible verdicts available to the jury and presents three concise reasons why Clancy should be convicted of the willful murder of her children. If the jury is unable to decide on a verdict, the judge will declare a mistrial and the prosecutors will decide whether to retry the case. Many women, both liberal and conservative, have sided with Clancy. Allie warns against losing sight of the actual victims in this case and challenges them to think about how they would react if the victims had been their own children. Justice should never be rooted in compassion but in truth. Empathy-based justice is not justice at all. Every piece of evidence and information in the case should be viewed in light of the undisputed fact that Lindsay Clancy murdered her three kids. Even in the midst of this darkness and confusion, Allie reminds Christians that God's plan of redemption is going off without a hitch; he is completely sovereign, even over something as awful as this. Allie concludes the episode by looking at “Oreo gate” — the viral social media mom drama concerning Oreos in school lunches — and whether it is even real. Do you have a question for Allie? Mike details his personal story of living with undiagnosed dyslexia until the breaking point at age 45 led to a seven-year inward journey creating his current work - Luv Being U. The discussion includes the power thoughts have to produce chemicals like cortisol and oxytocin, the role of learned behaviors and identities, and the importance of forgiveness, especially of oneself. Mike explains his process for rewriting negative core beliefs and the impact of gratitude, authenticity, and positive energy on mental health. Key Takeaways: changing thoughts can alter brain chemistry and lead to different emotional states negative core beliefs from childhood create subconscious protection mechanisms that manifest as negative self-talk the importance of reframing past experiences, forgiveness, and gratitude speaking affirmations out loud can have a powerful effect on the subconscious mind negative thinking reduces cognitive function by 20-60% due to increased cortisol levels living authentically through gratitude leads to personal strength and positive interactions with others the internal conflict between the protective subconscious mind and the expansive authentic self Mike Wood is an entrepreneur, author, coach and educator who spent decades building businesses and leading teams before discovering that no amount of external success could quiet the internal struggle. What if rebuilding your life didn't require grit and willpower, but something as simple as a smile? Host Ria talks with Holly Fair, a Tony Robbins-trained transformation coach and founder of Fire Up Life, about reclaiming identity after childhood abuse, divorce, infertility, and profound loss. Holly lost 150 pounds and wore an actual crown every day for two years as a daily practice in becoming who she wanted to be. This conversation moves past the perfectionism that keeps so many people stuck, and into something gentler: joy as the doorway to lasting change. Holly shares the moment she stood on stage in front of 5,000 people and chose a new identity for herself, and what that choice has meant every day since. About the Guest: Holly Fair is a Tony Robbins trainer, certified life coach, and founder of Fire Up Life. She lost 150 pounds and wore a crown every day for two years as part of reclaiming her identity after surviving childhood abuse, divorce, infertility, and profound loss. She now coaches women through midlife transitions, helping them reconnect with their authentic selves. Key Takeaways: Perfectionism is often the real block to change, not lack of willpower. Give yourself permission to wobble the way you would learning any new skill. Try Holly's "smile through hard things" practice. Smiling doesn't erase a hard moment, but it changes how you move through it. If you're rebuilding your identity, take an honest inventory of what you love about yourself, including the parts you've been told are "too much." Choosing a new identity doesn't require a grand gesture. Small, consistent acts of showing up for yourself compound into real transformation. You don't have to wait until you've healed, lost the weight, or fixed the thing to start treating yourself like the person you're becoming. Start today, with something small. Welcome back from summer vacation, Love Is The Power listeners! We're easing into September this week with a meditation and group style inquiry led by Tom on noticing some of our favourite ways to stop ourselves from living in harmony with life, and questioning those root beliefs. The inquiry goes from looking at the simple belief that it isn't possible to live in harmony with life given specific sets of circumstances to studying a pattern of feeling hurt by other people. As Tom points out, the mind will often minimize the positive effects of peace. But could it be true that taking care of our own inner world and questioning the thoughts that disrupt our ability to live in harmony with everything around us is one of the best ways to serve the world?

Is Romantasy ruining reality? Allie unpacks the ACOTAR phenomenon, highlighting how the author of the series, Sarah J. Maas, is proud of the smut she writes, but she's even prouder that readers are leaving their boyfriends and husbands thanks to her work. While women should always leave an abusive partner, Allie believes ACOTAR is setting an unrealistic standard of romance for women that is causing them to throw away good relationships and self-improvement. Meanwhile, the Bible showcases far better examples of romance and strong, female protagonists than spicy novellas from BookTok. Allie is also joined by Share the Arrows guest speaker Costi Hinn, who discusses the similarities between Kathryn Krick and his uncle Benny Hinn and the broader dangers of the charismatic movement. What if the hardest experiences of your life weren't meant to define you—but to lead you back to who you truly are? In this episode of The Lucas Mack Show, I sit down with my longtime friend and spiritual mentor Annie Yatch (https://www.linkedin.com/in/annie-yatch/) for a deeply personal conversation about truth, healing, love, and what it really means to become free. Annie and I have known each other for nearly twenty years, and our journeys have taken us through transformation, loss, growth, questioning, and ultimately a deeper understanding of ourselves. In this conversation, we explore what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for permission, validation, and peace—and begin reclaiming the power within. Annie shares her transition from consulting and working primarily with men to creating a community designed to support women in releasing the emotional weight they've carried and reconnecting with their own gifts, wisdom, and genius. We also explore radical gratitude—the challenging idea that even the painful chapters of our lives can become teachers. Not because suffering itself is something we need to celebrate, but because healing can transform our relationship with what happened and allow us to receive love in ways we couldn't before. We talk about: • Releasing emotional baggage and old identities • Why freedom begins internally • Learning to receive love • Radical gratitude for the experiences that shaped us • Moving beyond fear-based narratives • Reclaiming your personal power • Oneness and spiritual alignment • Finding peace without needing the outside world to change • What it means to finally live as your authentic self At the heart of this conversation is a simple truth: You don't have to become someone else to be free. You have to remember who you are. If you're in a season of questioning old beliefs, releasing old versions of yourself, or trying to find your way back to peace, I hope this conversation meets you exactly where you are. Subscribe to The Lucas Mack Show for conversations about truth, healing, freedom, consciousness, relationships, and what it means to live a whole and authentic life. #TheLucasMackShow #AnnieYatch #PersonalFreedom #Healing #SpiritualAwakening #Consciousness #Authenticity #InnerPeace #PersonalGrowth #SelfDiscovery Thank you for listening – if you're struggling to break free and need support – go to my website and www.lucasmack.com. Mini Reiki + Dowsing Energy Healing Session Self-Love Protocol + 417 Hz MusicBalance Relationships: With Self and OthersThis Mini Reiki and Dowsing Energy Healing Session is centered around the relationship beneath so many of our other relationships: the relationship we have with ourselves.Self-love is not only about feeling positively toward yourself. It can also be about how you speak to yourself, how much room you allow for your own needs and feelings, whether you trust your preferences, how you respond when you make a mistake, the boundaries you permit yourself to have, and whether you continue abandoning parts of yourself in order to maintain connection with someone else, fulfill a role, or sustain something in your life that you have learned to put before yourself. In this session, we will work with Reiki and Dowsing Energy Healing to support the clearing and removal of non-beneficial energetic patterns that may be affecting both your inner relationship with yourself and the way you relate to others. We may work with patterns connected to:Self-criticism, self-rejection, and harsh internal dialogueOver-giving or over-accommodating in relationshipsPeople-pleasing and fear of disappointing othersAbandoning your own needs, preferences, or boundaries to preserve connectionFeeling responsible for another person's emotions or experienceOld relationship imprints, emotional residue, and attachment patternsDifficulty receiving love, care, appreciation, or supportConfusing self-sacrifice with loveComparison, unworthiness, or the belief that you have to earn loveFear of rejection, abandonment, disapproval, or being misunderstoodEnergetic cords, outdated agreements, and non-beneficial relational patterns that are ready to be releasedPlaces where your relationship with yourself may be asking for greater kindness, steadiness, respect, trust, and careWe will then call in, restore, rebalance, and strengthen energies that support a healthier and more loving relationship with yourself and, from there, more balanced relationships with others.Throughout the session, 417 Hz music will be used alongside the Reiki and Dowsing practice, supporting the atmosphere of release, recalibration, and relational renewal. The intention is not to make every relationship perfect or to remove the very human complexity of relating. It is to support a more balanced foundation:How do I remain in relationship with myself while I am in relationship with another?Because self-love does not require withdrawing from others. And loving another person does not require leaving yourself behind. This can include calling in:Greater self-respect and self-trustCompassion without self-abandonmentHealthy reciprocityClearer relational boundariesThe ability to remain connected to yourself while connected to someone elseReceiving as well as givingGreater ease in honoring your own needs and preferencesRelationships that allow room for mutuality, authenticity, and choiceA deeper sense that you do not have to diminish yourself, over-function, or become someone else in order to be lovedThroughout the session, 417 Hz music will be used alongside the Reiki and Dowsing practice, supporting the atmosphere of release, recalibration, and relational renewal. The intention is not to make every relationship perfect or to remove the very human complexity of relating. It is to support a more balanced foundation:How do I remain in relationship with myself while I am in relationship with another?Because self-love does not require withdrawing from others. And loving another person does not require leaving yourself behind.Patreon Membership: https://www.patreon.com/c/inspiringyoucommunity/membershipTo purchase Light Format — A Structural Lexicon: Codified Definitions for Soul Signal, Field Coherence, and Embodied Architecture: https://a.co/d/09V6nG6cWith love, care and gratitude,Henri

Was Lindsay Clancy actually diagnosed with postpartum depression? As the trial concludes, Allie gives updates and modifications to her original opinion. While the defense and social media paint the narrative that Lindsay was a struggling mom seeking help who was recklessly put on multiple psychiatric medications that caused her to murder her children, Allie analyzes why that idea doesn't hold up. Re-evaluating the case in light of the surprising fact that no doctor formally diagnosed Lindsay with postpartum depression, anxiety, or psychosis, what Allie originally reported as nuanced now appears much more unequivocal. Mental health experts from both sides of the case gave their professional opinions as to why it is unlikely that Lindsay was experiencing a psychotic episode when she murdered her children. One doctor presents the concept of “altruistic filicide” — the idea that Lindsay killed her children out of a distorted sense of love or protection. Allie examines all these developments as well as more conspiracy theory claims regarding Lindsay's husband, Patrick — this time rooted in astrology. Allie concludes this heavy episode by looking at the life and legacy of Dolly Parton in light of her passing. Do you have a question for Allie? The Poco a Poco Podcast with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal

Episode 312 - Silence of Self-Love Have you ever felt like you had to prove yourself, protect yourself, or hold everything together on your own? In this episode, the friars continue their series on holy silence by reflecting on the silence of self-love. They explore how pride, self-reliance, self-protection, insecurity, and the need to perform can create a lot of noise in our hearts. When we feel threatened, unseen, corrected, or afraid, it can be easy to turn inward and try to defend the self we want others to see. But Jesus invites us into something much quieter and freer, the poverty of being beloved sons and daughters. We do not have to build a fortress around ourselves or work endlessly to be loved. The Father's love is already poured out, already steady, already "maxed out" for us. Join us as we learn to let go of the noise of self-protection and rest in the Father's love that tells us who we really are. The Poco a Poco podcast happens because of many generous donors, including recurring monthly donations of any amount. Thinking about helping out? You can give at https://spiritjuice.org/supportpoco. "We are so well positioned to have it continue and flourish because we have become a Perpetual Purpose Trust, which means this place is no longer owned by one person or any financial interest—it is owned by purpose." —Michael Stusser "We're always trying to figure out how we keep moving the property forward in a way that's sustainable, and also how it's going to impact our guests, our business, our staff." —Heather Bishop  A perpetual purpose trust sounds like a legal footnote until you meet the two people who actually built one. This episode traces how Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary in Sonoma County became the first U.S. spa to place itself inside that structure — permanently removing any future owner's ability to chase profit over mission.  Justine first sits down with founder Michael Stusser, who traces the idea back to a single afternoon in an 800-year-old Kyoto stone garden, and then with CEO Heather Bishop, who inherited the vision and had to figure out how to make it legally unbreakable. This one's for anyone who's tired of the word "sustainable" doing all the talking and none of the work. Michael and Heather don't just describe the enzyme bath, the meditation gardens, or the gray water system — they explain the budgeting, the permits, and the trade-offs behind each one. It's a conversation about what it actually costs, in time and humility, to build something that outlasts you. The enzyme bath's heat comes entirely from billions of thermophilic bacteria fermenting Douglas fir and rice bran — not from any external heat source. Osmosis's perpetual purpose trust means the business has no human shareholder; its "shareholder" is the mission itself, enforced by a trust committee and an independent trust enforcer. The five-and-a-half-acre property couldn't legally go into the same trust as the business, so it's being paid off and moved into a separate land trust over the next three to five years. A gray water system currently covers roughly 50–60% of the property's irrigation needs, with a rainwater catchment system planned to close the gap entirely. Osmosis sources its enzyme bath wood shavings as a byproduct from local lumber operations that would otherwise throw them away. Trust-based decision-making already changed real policy — Heather cites expanding paid time off to all staff, including part-time employees, as a direct result of the trust's staff-benefit objectives. Listen to the full conversation with Michael Stusser and Heather Bishop, and follow Essential Ingredients so you don't miss what's next. https://tinyurl.com/Essential-Ingredients-Podcast  Meet Michael:   Michael Stusser, founder of Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary, is a pioneer in ecological sustainability, organic gardening, and holistic wellness. Beginning his journey at UC Santa Cruz in the late 1960s, he helped establish horticultural training centers and later served on the board of the Farallones Institute in Sonoma County.  In the early 1980s, Michael apprenticed in traditional landscape gardening in Kyoto, Japan, where he immersed himself in Zen meditation and discovered the healing power of cedar enzyme baths. Returning to California in 1984, he introduced this unique practice, gaining national recognition in outlets like The New York Times and CNN. By 1988, he transformed five acres in Freestone into Osmosis, blending inspired landscaping, meditation traditions, and eco‑restoration to create a sanctuary rooted in sustainability, spirituality, and rejuvenation.  LinkedIn Meet Heather:  Heather Bishop is the CEO of Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary, where she leads one of Northern California's most distinctive hospitality businesses with a focus on people‑centered leadership and operational excellence. Over the past decade, she has guided Osmosis through transformative organizational change, overseeing operations, finance, HR, strategic planning, and guest experience for a team of 80+.  Heather recently spearheaded the company's transition into a Purpose Trust‑owned business—one of the few in the United States—ensuring long‑term mission preservation while modernizing governance, HR systems, and employee benefits. She traces where that voice comes from and explains how years of avoiding her own feelings left her settling for relationships that never felt understood. Her way out starts with acceptance rather than logic. Read along with the original article(s) here: https://www.modernlovecounseling.com/emotions-irrational-or-logical/ Quotes to ponder: "Acceptance can actually become very empowering." "When we mask our feelings and natural responses as adults, we run the risk of never being understood by anyone or ever experiencing true intimacy." "Sometimes, you don't need to know the answer, but rather just give yourself permission to be messy." We also talk about how our own self-worth impacts the way we show up for our kids and how we can help the next generation build a healthier relationship with themselves.Key Topics CoveredWhy insecurity can actually be an adaptive responseHow attachment theory can become another form of perfectionismWhy some people struggle to receive complimentsThe connection between self-worth, memories, and our emotional responsesHow to recognize, regulate, and respond to difficult emotionsCONNECT WITH DR. 'Should' is a sketchy word. Not only does it keep us in a place of limbo, somewhere between doing things and not doing things, it also creates a lot of shame around our lack of focus and momentum. And if there's one thing we know about shame, it's that it will never move us forward into a better version of ourselves. Shame always shuts us down and even creates a downward spiral. What if the very darkness you've been trying to escape is actually where your greatest transformation is waiting?Through the teachings of Kabbalah, we discover that our challenges are not signs that we've failed — they are opportunities to retrieve the sparks of Light we left behind. By learning how to revisit our past with compassion, recognize the lessons hidden inside our experiences, and choose a new version of ourselves, we can turn darkness into the very fuel that elevates us.This week is an invitation to stop fighting the parts of ourselves we wish we could erase — and instead uncover the gifts, growth, and divine purpose hidden within them.  Because the darkness you're fighting may be the exact place where your greatest Light is waiting to be revealed.Join us for the next episode of Weekly Energy Boost with @ElishevaBalas.  Watch LIVE Sundays at 10 am PT / 1pm ET on The Kabbalah Centre YouTube or catch the latest episode wherever you listen to podcasts.According to the kabbalists, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah is a window in time when we can transcend space and time to remove judgments from ourselves. Ron responds to Monte Mader's “bodily autonomy” defense of abortion and breaks down why it's a flimsy excuse to kill a baby. Trump is still grappling with the housing affordability crisis and economic fallout he inherited from the Biden administration, much like how Ronald Reagan faced severe inflation and high mortgage rates left over from the Carter years. In the early 2020s, rapid home-price growth and soaring inflation pushed 30-year mortgage rates far higher after they had been in the mid-to-high 2% range when Biden took office, echoing the double-digit inflation and 18%+ mortgage rates of the late 1970s and early 1980s. While rates have begun easing and home-price growth has slowed significantly under Trump, resolving a crisis of this scale — just as it took years in the 1980s — requires more time than many critics allow. Also, Ron answers questions on budgeting, housing, Tucker Carlson, and parenting. "Our culture has put together two things: my worth is this if I weigh this." - Anne Poirier   Ann Poirier is a renowned body image expert, certified intuitive eating counselor, and author celebrated for her significant contributions to the Body Neutrality movement. A long-time survivor of an eating disorder, Ann has transformed her past struggles into a mission to help others cultivate a healthy relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves. Her notable work includes the book "The Body Joyful: My Journey from Self-Loathing to Self-Acceptance," which chronicles her journey and insights into self-acceptance. Ann is also the founder of the Body Joyful Revolution, an initiative dedicated to dismantling body shaming and promoting acceptance irrespective of size and shape.   Episode Summary: In this eye-opening episode of "All My Health There Is Hope," host Jana Short speaks with Ann Poirier, a courageous voice in the realm of body-image acceptance. From the impact of her upbringing under stringent body-conscious norms to her breakthrough realization of the need for hope, Ann walks listeners through her transformative journey. Ann addresses weight stigma, societal beauty standards, and her advocacy for body neutrality—pioneering a path for individuals to separate their self-worth from their body weight. Ann emphasizes the importance of loving one's body as it is, challenging the prevailing cultural tides that tie value and beauty to body size. The episode discusses the ideas articulated in her book "The Body Neutrality Playbook," which guides readers in shifting their perspectives regarding self-image and self-worth. Both Ann and Jana explore topics like societal judgments, self-worth, and how to influence a positive shift in future generations. Listeners are left with a message of self-affirmation and the understanding that authentic beauty arises from self-acceptance and gratitude for one's body.   Key Takeaways: Culture and upbringing significantly impact individual perceptions of self-worth and body image, as shared by Ann's personal experiences. The Body Neutrality Movement advocates for separating self-worth from body weight and is essential to fostering healthier body relationships. Encouragement towards self-appreciation for what the body can do instead of its appearance helps build a positive mindset. Judgment based on appearance is pervasive, and continual self-awareness and mindset shifts are vital to overcoming it. Intentional movement and self-care play key roles in promoting a healthier outlook on one's body, detached from societal expectations.   Resources: https://shapingperspectives.com/ https://www.instagram.com/annepoirier11/ https://www.facebook.com/anne.poirier.10 https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-poirier-72b66344/   FREE Body Confidence Unlocked E-Book https://shapingperspectives.com/confidence/   FREE subscription to the Best Holistic Life Magazine, one of the fastest-growing independent magazines centered around holistic living: https://bestholisticlife.info/BestHolisticLifeMagazine.   Get in touch with Jana and listen to more podcasts: https://www.janashort.com/ Show Music 'Hold On' by Amy Gerhartz: https://www.amygerhartz.com/music. Allie interviews LaRell Herbert, who grew up in the Mormon church and experienced confusion regarding his gender from a young age. Everything he knew to be true was based on LDS doctrine, and when his belief in the “church” dissolved, the belief that he was simply a product of evolution took its place. When his worldview turned to the idea that he was a product of chance and not an intentional creation, the only thing that made sense with his conflicting feelings regarding his sexuality was that he was born in the wrong body. He expressed this heartbreaking information to his wife and began attending therapy with a nonbinary therapist who encouraged him to start receiving hormones and surgical treatment. LaRell went on to identify openly as a woman for seven years. His life changed, however, when he came to the realization that his feelings of being a woman were not something that he was born with but were rooted in childhood trauma. He now has a relationship with Jesus and accepts his true identity as a man made in the image of God. LaRell sits down with Allie to share his story as well as offer helpful insight for those who have loved ones walking through similar challenges. So when someone offers support, the body may immediately brace and questions appear: What do they want in return? Am I being selfish? Do I deserve this?Rachel shares why receiving is a spiritual practice, not a weakness. When we constantly give without allowing ourselves to receive, we can become depleted, disconnected, resentful, and less able to hear our intuition clearly. You'll learn how to notice resistance to receiving without judging yourself, how nervous system patterns influence your ability to accept support, and a simple body-based practice using the affirmation:“I am allowed to receive.”You'll also discover practical ways to begin receiving today—accepting a compliment without deflecting, resting before exhaustion takes over, allowing someone to help you, and choosing relationships and spaces where you don't always have to be the strong one.If you're always the person everyone turns to but struggle to let others show up for you, this episode is your reminder that healing isn't only about what you give.Sometimes healing is learning how to let yourself receive.Support the showSpiritual Spotlight Series is hosted by Rachel Garrett, RN, CCH — Akashic Records Practitioner, Master Energy Healer, and Certified Crystal Healer.Conversations about the things we almost don't say out loud. Allie recaps her debate on “Jubilee” with former evangelical Monte Mader and looks into a common debate strategy called “Gish galloping.” This tactic involves overwhelming an opponent with multiple arguments and talking fast, making it impossible for them to reply to every claim brought up. Allie shows how this method was used by Mader during their debate and explains the best way to respond when it happens. Allie also looks into Mader's claims about the history of abortion and the church and gives a more in-depth response than the debate time allotted. Allie ends by discussing conspiracy theories surrounding the Lindsay Clancy case. Female TikTok users are spreading the idea that Lindsay Clancy's ex-husband is actually responsible for the murder of their three children — a theory that is not based in fact and helpful to no one. Allie looks at popular songs, books, and TV shows from the past few decades that display female victimhood culture and promote the idea that evil is just misunderstood; she shares her thoughts about how this way of thinking may be influencing how people view this case. What can DBT teach us about turning invalidation into joy? Dr. Kiki Fehling and Dr. Ann Kelley explore how chronic invalidation can shape emotional regulation, identity, and self-worth, particularly for queer and trans individuals. Through the lens of DBT and minority stress, Kiki shares how understanding these experiences can help challenge internalized shame, build resilience, and move beyond simply healing – and make space for authenticity, connection, and queer joy. “Internalized shame can be healed through community.” – Dr. Kiki Fehling Time Stamps for DBT, Chronic Invalidation & Finding Queer Joy with Dr. Kiki Fehling (309) 00:27 Understanding chronic invalidation in parenting and garegiving 02:05 How invalidations lead to emotional dysregulation 04:37 Adult consequences of childhood invalidations 07:00 Invalidation beyond parenting: Queer identity and society 07:59 Minority stress and queer invalidations 14:51 Using DBT to cultivate joy and self-acceptance 23:06 Practical tools: Books and resources for self-directed DBT About our Guest – Dr. Kiki Fehling Dr. Kiki Fehling (they/she) is a licensed psychologist, author, speaker, and DBT-Linehan-Board-certified expert in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Allie revisits the growing controversy surrounding Kathryn Krick by looking at GeorDavie, her spiritual mentor and an African faith healer. GeorDavie has been accused of sexual harassment, grooming, and abuse toward women, many of whom were once friends of Kathryn Krick. Allie looks into where he came from and his influence on Krick, who refuses to condemn her “spiritual daddy” and continues to describe him as pure and godly. Allie discusses testimonies of women who have come out publicly and reveals text messages and conversations that have been exclusively shared to the "Relatable" team. The accounts expose how GeorDavie's inappropriate behavior toward women is disguised as spiritual healing and cleansing. The accounts also demonstrate how he targets women by growing their dependency on him and asks intimate questions regarding their sexual past and dating history. This is not the picture of a biblical shepherd or pastor charged with caring for his people. In order to stop more women from being harmed and the spread of this pseudo-Christianity, GeorDavie must be exposed. Do you have a question for Allie? Leave a voicemail at 844-755-5252. Vanessa Sivadge, whistleblower, former Texas Children's Hospital nurse, and recipient of the Share the Arrows award, is back! Vanessa witnessed how the largest children's hospital in the country illegally used state funding to provide minors with transitioning procedures. While many in Vanessa's situation would simply quit, she chose to speak out; first anonymously in 2023, then publicly in 2024. After openly coming forward, she was fired from her job and now leads the organization Protecting Texas Children that fights for parental rights and advocates for children on a legislative level. She joins Allie to discuss how God has continued to write her story and how she is currently speaking the truth and fighting the ideology pushing the mutilation of children's bodies. The past few years have consisted of private back-and-forth conversations as the case against Texas Children's Hospital has unfolded. On May 15, 2026, the case concluded, and Texas Children's was required to pay a settlement. Along with the settlement, five physicians were fired, and America's first detransition clinic was established. Vanessa's story is an encouragement to Christians to speak the truth boldly even when it is difficult and a reminder that God can use them for His glory in the spheres of influence He has placed them.  Check Out Vanessa's Advocacy Organization: https://protectingtexaschildren.com/ Share the Arrows 2026 is on October 10 in Dallas, Texas! Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is back in the spotlight, this time as an egg-freezing influencer. She shares vlogs of herself injecting hormones into her body to prepare her eggs to be harvested and frozen indefinitely. AOC believes that women are not taught enough about their bodies, and her hope is for her journey toward freezing her eggs to be an example of what it looks like to live a full and controlled life. Allie sheds light on the reasons why the process of egg harvesting is not healthy or empowering for women and presents the ethical issues that come with IVF. Allie also explains why AOC's decision to freeze her eggs may not be as politically motivated as it appears, considering the ending of her engagement with Riley Roberts, with whom she was in a relationship with for over 15 years. Allie explains why AOC's actions do not reflect an economic problem, but a cultural problem that elevates the desires of adults over the needs of children. While she is seeking to be relatable, the message and methods AOC is portraying as empowering are, in reality, damaging to women. Allie concludes the episode with a conversation with Laura McDonald and Juliette Williams, two members of the Daughters of the American Revolution; giving an update on the controversy of allowing men identifying as women into the organization.
