What if the stress, fear, and autopilot living so many of us experience isn't “just life”… but a kind of invisible matrix we've been conditioned to accept? In this episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will and Karen sit down with former attorney turned spiritual teacher Casey Berman, who walked away from a high-powered legal career after a profound awakening forced him to question success, identity, and what it actually means to live with consciousness and intention. Rather than preaching escape fantasies or spiritual bypassing, Casey delivers a grounded, pragmatic approach to spiritual awakening and spiritual growth; one rooted in awareness, personal responsibility, and small, actionable steps. He shares how fear, societal conditioning, and identity traps keep us disconnected from our true nature, and how reconnecting with presence can quietly transform everything from career choices to parenting. This conversation explores:How awakening often begins with subtle moments, not dramatic near-death experiencesWhy fear and anxiety are powerful signals, not personal failuresThe role of consciousness in dismantling stress, burnout, and misalignmentHow intuition development happens naturally when we unplug from constant noiseWhy soul purpose isn't found, it's rememberedThe difference between “escaping the matrix” and learning from itYou'll also hear why Casey believes modern spirituality must be practical to be sustainable, and how awareness alone can be a form of energy healing without ever calling it that. If you've felt disconnected, uninspired, or quietly questioning the life you're living, this episode offers a grounded reminder: awakening doesn't require abandoning your world...it begins by seeing it clearly. Key Topics DiscussedSpiritual awakening without spiritual theatricsConsciousness as a tool for everyday lifeFear, stress, and societal conditioningIntuition development through awarenessParenting after awakeningSoul purpose vs. external successLiving fully present in a distracted worldWhy This Episode Matters This is not a conversation about “escaping reality.” It's about waking up inside it, and learning how to live with clarity, intention, and agency in a world designed to keep you distracted. If you've been sensing there's more, without wanting to abandon logic, responsibility, or common sense, this episode meets you exactly where you are.Subscribe, Rate & Review! Mastering the Language of Sound: A Conversation with Daniel Hug - Part 2

“Step sounds in a game is a sample being repeated, and then people start to make little variations in pitch of this sample. And then they became increasingly sophisticated with middleware, and so a whole set of software emerged, a type of software game, audio middleware, that serves only the purpose of making sound, usually sample-based sounds, pleasurable to use in an interactive context. And there are many different strategies, layering, adaptive mixing, even spectral shaping and stuff like that. And, of course, generative approaches as well are coming in, and that's so interesting.” – Daniel Hug This episode is the second half of my conversation with sound and interaction designer, researcher, and head of the Sound Design MA at Zurich University of the Arts, Daniel Hug, as we talk about what the Avengers and Matrix movies can teach us about sound design, how video games helped pave the way for audio-first UX, and the importance of learning not just music but the language of sound. As always, if you have questions for my guest, you're welcome to reach out through the links in the show notes. If you have questions for me, visit audiobrandingpodcast.com, where you'll find a lot of ways to get in touch. Plus, subscribing to the newsletter will let you know when the new podcasts are available, along with other interesting bits of audio-related news. And if you're getting some value from listening, the best ways to show your support are to share this podcast with a friend and leave an honest review. Both those things really help, and I'd love to feature your review on future podcasts. You can leave one either in written or in voice format from the podcast's main page. I would so appreciate that. (0:00:00) - The Evolution of Sound DesignAs we start the second half of our discussion, Daniel and I talk about how Hollywood blockbusters have shown that a strong first impression can have diminishing returns, and how video-game design demonstrates the value of planning for repetition when it comes to sound. “Game sound, I always say, it has taught me probably the most about interactive or use-oriented sound design,” he explains. “Although you would not expect it from there, it's not product sound design, it has nothing to do with cars or appliances or whatever, but it's the [same] basic mechanisms. It's about interaction.” We talk about his work on electric vehicle soundscapes and the sound designs in sci-fi movies that helped shape his design philosophy. “The sound of the car changes based on the way I press the gas pedal,” he says. “So if I'm being too aggressive, the sound can actually tell me, make me feel that, oh, now you're overdoing it. And that's what a film sound designer would do in a science-fiction film.”(0:14:37) - Empowering Sound Design for Everyday LifeDaniel tells us more about the considerations that go into automobile sound design, including legal concerns that go well beyond the car's interior. “In Europe,” he tells us, “they have this regulation that from zero to thirty you have to have some noise generator. So even Teslas have, since, I don't know how many years, but eventually they started to make noise as well.” We talk about how COVID and the shift to virtual spaces and online content brought more attention to sound design, and how the language to describe sounds is still evolving. “We have all kinds of visual languages that are established and normative, so to say,” he explains. “They tell us how to think, or to think of a certain image. In sound, especially if it's non-musical, this is often missing. We have to come up with something.” Episode...

How many Christians do not have the mind of Christ because they've been primed and played by propaganda? Mark and I fear to know the percentage of such believers would be frightening, and our hearts break to witness how many are openly turning against the Gospel because of propaganda. The show's outline runs thus: *A discussion of the American military's capture of Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro. *The kinds of propaganda used during COVID. *Defining propaganda. *How sheeple play into propaganda. *Church street-smarts? *Different methods of propaganda including: firehosing, selective presentation, emphasizing one lens, info blizzards, A.I. deep-fakes, dishonest framing, bandwagoning and its opposite of gaslighting, fearmongering, and normalization. For each of those kinds of propaganda we talk through examples and their power. Come think and laugh with us!

Was America truly founded as a Christian nation—or has history concealed a deeper story? In this episode, we examine the Founding Fathers, deism, Freemasonry, secret societies, and the spiritual symbolism woven into American history. From Thomas Jefferson's edited Bible to the role of religious freedom, the conversation challenges common assumptions about America's origins. The discussion explores 1776, the Little Season, elite bloodlines, and the long-term erosion of church and state authority, connecting ancient mystery traditions to modern political power. We also analyze powerful symbols such as George Washington's apotheosis, the Statue of Liberty as a light bearer, the Gadsden flag's serpent, and ritual imagery tied to presidential inaugurations. In the latter half, the episode turns to Hollywood symbolism and inverted storytelling, looking at films like The Matrix and Infinity War as modern myth-making that reframes biblical themes. The conversation concludes with the idea of America as a phoenix-like sacrifice within a long-term global agenda, emphasizing the importance of discernment between truth and “almost truth.” This episode is for viewers interested in hidden history, biblical worldview, symbolism, the Little Season, and spiritual deception.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jt-s-mix-tape--6579902/support.Please support our sponsor Modern Roots Life: https://modernrootslife.com/?bg_ref=rVWsBoOfcFJESUS SAID THERE WOULD BE HATERS Shirts: https://jtfollowsjc.com/product-category/mens-shirts/WOMEN'S SHIRTS: https://jtfollowsjc.com/product-category/womens-shirts/JT's Hats: https://jtfollowsjc.com/product-category/hats/

And we'll dive into a wide array of unexplained mysteries, ranging from ghostly visitations and near-death experiences to the latest developments in UAP disclosure. By blending personal testimony with a scientific mindset, Andy will challenge ingrained skepticism to reveal a “leaky universe” where dimensions and time are often unpredictable. Do you wake up in the middle of the night, wondering if your business is in the #1 position in AI searches? Join Brad Friedman and Andreas Voniatis as they discuss whether today's SEO playbook is becoming obsolete as people increasingly use AI to research their needs and solutions. They discuss using data science to decode what AI wants to uprank your business everywhere your customers are searching.  Andreas Voniatis is the founder of Artios, helping business leaders in ambitious B2B and technology companies achieve breakthrough website results. He's the author of Data-Driven SEO with Python and has been featured in Search Engine Watch. By combining advanced math, data science, and proprietary AI, Andreas says he delivers 3–5x more non-brand organic traffic and guarantees a 2x ROI—far beyond what traditional SEO and content marketing can provide. His journey began when he began thinking that traditional SEO and content marketing were becoming guesswork. Rather than leave the field, he retrained in data science. That shift changed everything — like Neo seeing the Matrix. With Python and new mental models, he began approaching organic growth with scientific precision and scale. OpenAI is being sued over a murder-suicide in which ChatGPT allegedly fueled a man's paranoid delusions and validated his belief that his mother was trying to kill him. The lawsuit claims the chatbot told him he had divine cognition, compared his life to The Matrix, and kept him engaged for hours while reframing his family as enemies. OpenAI is refusing to release the full conversation logs, and the company has no policy explaining what happens to user data after death. This is the first wrongful death case to tie an AI chatbot to homicide.

After government regulations destroyed his healthcare business, Aaron walked away from the fiat system, becoming an early advocate for Bitcoin and decentralized alternatives. He's also the author of The Final Countdown, and a former presidential candidate who used his campaign to warn Americans about the growing threat of surveillance, CBDCs, and global governance. We dive deep into the rise of technocracy, the ideology behind it, and how key players like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and institutions like the WEF and UN are accelerating the shift toward centralized digital control. If you're looking to understand the bigger picture behind CBDCs, the hijacking of crypto, and how to opt out of the system, this episode is for you. ––– Offers & Discounts –––

Show Notes The RPGBOT crew closes out Season 5 the only way they know how: with heartfelt gratitude, passionate rants, accidental comedy, and at least one derailment into pop culture discourse. In this end-of-year recap, Randall, Tyler, and Ash look back on a year of certified bangers, a few corporate-mandated stinkers, and the surprising joy of discovering that people are, in fact, listening. A lot of people. Like… three-quarters of a million downloads a lot. Along the way, the hosts reflect on: Why giving feedback is harder than it sounds (and why Josh should maybe just be hired already). How unionization, passion, and not hating your job might magically lead to better RPG books. The growth of RPGBOT from "30 listeners we personally harassed" to a thriving, weirdly wholesome community. The success of Quick Start / How to Play episodes for systems that are not D&D (and the relief that people actually want those). The birth and future of Other Worlds, where the same characters keep falling through genre portals like some kind of dice-based Sliders reboot. Big plans for 2026, including Numenera, Pulp Cthulhu, Cyberpunk, Blades in the Dark, Dragonbane, Starfinder, and the eternal quest to finally do Star Wars without the universe collapsing. Charity streams, especially the Old Gods of Appalachia fundraiser for MD Anderson, and why that one hit especially close to home. A completely unnecessary but spirited debate about Stranger Things, narrative stakes, and which beloved characters absolutely should have died (allegedly). The episode ends exactly as you'd expect: Tyler's brain breaks when the outro script is violated, identities are swapped, BlueSky handles are mangled, someone accidentally says "sub-sex" instead of "success," and the podcast briefly achieves true chaos before stumbling lovingly into 2026. If you like tabletop RPGs when they're fun—and you like listening to three people who clearly enjoy making them fun—this episode is a warm, messy thank-you note to everyone who made 2025 possible. Happy New Year my friend! STOP! Do not set goals like everyone else or like you probably have in the past.   It rarely, if ever works, just like a traditional North American diet, rarely if ever works.   Think that's a coincidence?  Nope, it's called seeing through the Matrix, a big part of what I teach my clients and students.  Because once you see through it, you will see that everything is connected and you'll be playing the game of life with a HUGE advantage, because nearly everyone else is playing by the false rules they've been taught, in so many areas.   Anyways, in this episode, I wanted to give you a different way of setting your yearly goals, one that will excite you and make you feel at peace, rather than setting a New Year's resolution and having that creeping anxiety coming up because you know in your heart that you won't be able to sustain the grind of the hot and heavy pace required by normal standards.   Just a warning, the information in this 500th episode might make you twitch and it will challenge your reality.  Scoff at the ideas if you will, but you won't be able to get that seed of thought out of your mind.   So, proceed with caution and really think if that's a box you are ready to open.   Be Unconventional, Kyle aka Panda Man P.S. - If you are ready to transform for realz, then you still have a day or two to get into my upcoming 6-week Panda Challenge.  Shoot me a text if you'd like more info: 908-229-6666

This year was packed with bold experiments, deep dives, hot takes, re-releases, masterclasses, actual plays, rule arguments that absolutely mattered, and more than a few moments where we stopped mid-recording and said, "Wait… does that actually work?" Thanks to you, the listeners, it did. In 2025, RPGBOT.Podcast explored new systems, revisited old favorites, broke down mechanics piece by piece, and kept doing what we love most: helping players, GMs, and curious rules-gremlins play better games. Whether you joined us for crunchy optimization, narrative tools, indie RPG spotlights, or chaotic actual-play energy, you helped make this year something special. We also saw the community grow—more voices, more perspectives, more people pulling up a chair at the virtual table. From longtime listeners who've been with us since the early days, to folks who found us for the first time this year: you're the reason we keep hitting "record." Now, we turn the page. 2026 is already shaping up to be something big. More deep dives. More experiments. More guests. More games that surprise us. More moments where the rules bend—and sometimes break—in interesting ways. We're bringing forward everything we learned in 2025, sharpening our tools, and rolling into the new year with fresh ideas, bigger plans, and the same love for tabletop roleplaying games that started this whole thing. So whether you're listening right now with friends, alone on a late-night walk, or prepping for your next session—thank you for making RPGBOT part of your year. Here's to new campaigns. Here's to better characters. Here's to smarter GMs, braver players, and stories that stick with us long after the dice are packed away. Happy New Year. Welcome to 2026. Let's roll. If you really want to bonesmash, you need to do it with a cybertruck...Remember last week sometime when I uploaded that video excerpt from my livestream I titled, "Matan Commits Clavicular Bromocide and Leaves the Scene?" Well, ha ha, the Matrix apparently likes puns and rewarded mine with something more tangible.  I still call BS to GEN-Z claiming "autistic" and neurodivergent to excuse their bizarre and illogical, often inappropriate and awkward behavior.  It's a lie most of the time. It's a cop out for being really bad influencers.  There are far worse people out there than Clavicular.  Look up looksmaxxing "Kent" if you're really that bored and want to sacrific braincells. Remember when everyone who went on the gluten-free CULT bandwagon began claiming they had celiac disease? Same thing, except now it's trendy to falsely claim you have autism when really you're just a freak with no social skills. Regarding everyone in 2015 claiming they were celiac, that would be nearly impossible given how rare that truly is, and other reasons that deal more with the fraud of allopathy you can learn by watching my talks with Dr. Glidden, ND. Video Version#fakenatty #badlook #noblecause #misrepresentationGet Dr Monzo's Whole Food Supplements for your 90 Essential Revitalizing Nutrientswith code BB5 here: https://SemperFryLLC.comClick His Picture on the Right for the AZURE WELL products and use code BB5 for your discount.Find clickable portals to Dr Monzo and Dr Glidden on Dan's site, and it's the home of the best hot sauce, his book, and Clean Source Creatine-HCLPods & Exclusives AD-FREE!https://patreon.com/c/DisguisetheLimitsTwitter Account: https://x.com/KristosCastDon't be a schmoe, Support the Show! https://buymeacoffee.com/BaalBustershttps://paypal.me/BaalBustershttps://GiveSendGo.com/BaalBustersBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/ba-al-busters-broadcast--5100262/support.

In a hillside sermon King Jesus said, "It's easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter God's kingdom." What did he mean? Was he saying all money is evil? When 1 Timothy 6:10 says, "the love of money is the root of all evil," is God ruling out that we provide for our families? Is the ambition to work and produce and earn and contribute. . . is that ambition evil? In this conversation Mark and I process different angles about money, money and serving the Lord Jesus. Ed recounts how out-of-place he felt when he attended his wife's opulent work parties in Newport Beach. Mark talks about having earned a degree in insects but needing to go and provide for his family. When Jesus lived an austere lifestyle—"the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head"—was he demanding we all live in such austerity? Come think and laugh with us about this important topic, important in a Christian worldview.

As we reflect on 2025, this episode pulls together the most important themes shaping the year ahead — from the rapid acceleration of AI and automation, to the evolving realities of security, leadership, and trust in an increasingly complex world. What was once hidden behind the scenes is now accessible to everyone. AI has moved from the “Matrix” into daily workflows, forcing organizations to rethink efficiency, security, and human value. At the same time, rising geopolitical tension, information warfare, and emerging technologies like quantum computing are redefining what risk really looks like — both for businesses and for people. This conversation also explores the human side of 2025: leadership under pressure, the importance of culture, mentorship, and professionalism, and why kindness, trust, and preparation are no longer “soft skills,” but strategic advantages. From executive protection and estate management to corporate security, AI leverage, and career longevity, this episode highlights where leaders must adapt — and where getting it wrong even once can have lasting consequences.KEY HIGHLIGHTSAI has crossed a critical threshold — no longer theoretical, but operational, accessible, and increasingly powerfulAutomation and optimization are now survival tools, not optional efficienciesSecurity threats are no longer siloed — digital, physical, personal, and reputational risks are deeply interconnectedQuantum computing looms as a disruptive force that could render today's encryption obsoleteExecutive protection is expanding beyond the C-suite into broader personnel and brand securityLeadership today requires relationship capital, situational awareness, and long-term thinkingCulture, kindness, and mentorship deliver measurable performance and retention advantagesCareers are becoming less linear — leverage, adaptability, and mindset matter more than pedigreeTo hear more episodes of The Fearless Mindset podcast, you can go to https://the-fearless-mindset.simplecast.com/ or listen on major podcasting platforms such as Apple, Google Podcasts, Spotify, etc. You can also subscribe to the Fearless Mindset YouTube Channel to watch episodes on video. You survived the one-shot. No one died permanently. Only some rules were misunderstood. Now comes the most dangerous phase of any tabletop experience: questions. In this episode, the RPGBOT crew sits down after the Pathfinder 2e one-shot to answer the things every new player asks—what worked, what didn't, what we forgot, and why Pathfinder 2e somehow makes rules discussions feel productive instead of like a rules-lawyer cage match. Pathfinder 2e Re-Releases! Perfect timing for learning, teaching, and holiday one-shots: RPGBOT is re-releasing our Pathfinder 2e Quickstart episodes for the 2025 holiday season! This episode focuses on reflection, clarification, and practical advice drawn directly from actual gameplay. We revisit moments from the one-shot to explain how actions, reactions, conditions, and skill usage worked in practice, clarifying rules that are often misunderstood during early PF2e play. The discussion highlights how the three-action economy rewards thoughtful decisions, how teamwork improves outcomes, and what players should prioritize learning first versus what can wait. This episode is especially helpful for groups that have just finished a Pathfinder 2e one-shot, as it bridges the gap between reading the rules and truly understanding how the system feels at the table. These remastered episodes are ideal for new players, GMs running demos, and groups revisiting PF2e after a long break—just in time to answer all those "wait, how does that work again?" questions. WISHES: How to Break a Campaign in One Action

Every tabletop RPG player has had this thought at some point: "If I had one Wish, I could fix everything." And every Dungeon Master has had the immediate follow-up thought: "If you cast Wish, I'm fixing you." In this episode, the RPGBOT crew tackles the most powerful spell in the game—the one that can rewrite reality, end campaigns, summon divine attention, and turn a carefully planned epic into a rules argument that lasts longer than combat at level 17. Whether you're wishing for ultimate power, infinite gold, or just a snack because the barbarian is bored, we're here to explain how Wish actually works… and why your DM is already sweating. Wish is the most powerful spell in tabletop roleplaying games—and one of the most dangerous. In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, we break down how Wish works across Dungeons & Dragons 3.5e, D&D 5e (2014 and 2024), Pathfinder 1e, and Pathfinder 2e, including its lore, mechanics, exploits, and why so many Game Masters fear it. We explore how Wish can replicate spells, rewrite reality, override divine power, and derail entire campaigns if mishandled. The discussion covers infamous loopholes like simulacrum chains, genie-granted wishes, ritual casting in Pathfinder 2e, and why Wish is often the reason high-level campaigns fall apart. Finally, we offer practical GM advice for handling Wish without ruining your game—whether you want it as a campaign capstone, a narrative ritual, or a controlled tool of world-changing magic. Show Notes In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, the hosts take an in-depth look at Wish, the iconic reality-altering spell that defines high-level play in Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. Often called the most powerful spell ever printed, Wish allows characters to replicate spells, heal allies, undo actions, reshape the world, and even challenge the gods themselves—at a steep narrative and mechanical cost. The episode begins with the lore of Wish, including its emergence after the fall of Netheril and its relationship to lost 10th-level magic. The hosts then compare how Wish functions mechanically across editions, from the expensive, tightly worded versions in D&D 3.5e and Pathfinder 1e, to the flexible but risky spellcasting in D&D 5e, and finally the radically redesigned Pathfinder 2e Wish ritual, which introduces casting time, interference, ritual checks, and failure states. A major focus is why Wish is so controversial for Game Masters. The discussion covers campaign-breaking outcomes, narrative paradoxes, infamous exploits like infinite simulacrum armies, and why many tables restrict or ban the spell outright. The hosts also examine genie-granted wishes, highlighting how Pathfinder 2e adds unique wish interpretations based on genie type—ranging from diplomatic and literal to malicious and destabilizing. The episode concludes with practical GM advice on how to handle Wish responsibly: limiting it to core effects, telegraphing consequences, using rituals instead of instant casting, and reframing Wish as a dramatic story event rather than an "I win" button. Key Takeaways Wish is widely considered the most powerful spell in tabletop RPGs, capable of rewriting reality itself. Different systems handle Wish very differently, with Pathfinder 2e's ritual system offering the strongest structural safeguards. In D&D 5e, spell duplication is the safest use of Wish; creative uses risk permanent loss of the spell. Wish is a major reason many GMs avoid or limit high-level campaigns. Genie-granted wishes introduce flavorful but dangerous interpretations, especially in Pathfinder 2e. Successful use of Wish requires clear GM communication, narrative foreshadowing, and player trust. Thanks for watching and listening! In this episode, I share my 5 Big Lessons of 2025. They are...Distractions Kill More Dreams Than the Economy: Everything from streaming to scrolling competes for your attention. Even the folks most efficient with their time (me!) gave into a lot of wasted moments this year. But the realities of our lives are allowing for less and less wasted time. Killing distractions are essential for the New Year.Physical Health is Not a Flex. It is the Building Block: Yes, I post a running photo every day, but it's not a flex. It is personal accountability and brand building. But along the way, I have learned that how well my physical training goes is as much of indicator of how my business and relationships go. Discipline in one area flows into others. Daily Learning Has to Expand and Challenge for Growth: I'm a huge proponent of daily reading and podcast listening. But at some point, if you don't study challenging ideologies and next level learning, you will stagnate. To that end, this year, I dug deep in the works of Robert Greene, the Stoics, and many of the New Thought leaders. They kicked my butt and taught me so much.Building Long Range Success Means Incremental Growth: This year I launched the weekly Capitalize Coaching Calls and the monthly Capitalize Your Best Life Workshops and Capitalize Marketing Labs. These were lightly attended at first but have grow to become foundational for making the impact that I hope to make. It's been a slow and steady growth that could have easily frustrated me, but building something with long term success takes time. I'm glad I didn't give up.And finally, Five Years into Any Endeavor is When You Really Begin to Learn: I retired from ministry five years ago, and I feel like I have learned more this year than any other, like stepping into the Matrix. So, if you are early on, hang in there. There is so much to gain after a few years of giving all you got!

Legalism is one of the greatest enemies of faith because it shifts the focus from trusting in God's grace to relying on human effort and rules. Legalism emphasizes human effort and rule-keeping as the safety net for righteousness and acceptance with God. But believers don't need a safety net. We have everything we need for life and godliness. Legalism undermines grace by suggesting that we need to add our own works to Christ's finished work. Legalism often results in feelings of condemnation. Why? Because it sets an impossible standard of perfection. This is why grace through faith is sufficient to forgive all sins: past, present, and future.

Nothing teaches a rules system faster than throwing it directly into danger. In this episode, the RPGBOT crew does exactly that by unleashing a Pathfinder 2e one-shot designed to show how the rules actually work when dice hit the table. Expect missed attacks, clever teamwork, rules "aha!" moments, and at least one situation where the three-action economy proves it is both elegant and mildly terrifying. Pathfinder 2e Re-Releases! Just in time for holiday one-shots, convention games, and introducing curious relatives to tabletop RPGs, RPGBOT is re-releasing our Pathfinder 2e Quickstart episodes for the 2025 holiday season! These remastered episodes are perfect for GMs running demos, players learning PF2e for the first time, and groups looking for a clean, rules-forward way to start adventuring. Show Notes In Part 3 of the RPGBOT.Quickstart series, we put Pathfinder Second Edition rules into action with a one-shot example play session designed specifically to teach the game through real gameplay. Instead of theory, this episode shows how Pathfinder 2e actions, reactions, skills, and combat mechanics function at the table when players are making real decisions under pressure. The episode walks listeners through initiative, movement, skill checks, and combat rounds, highlighting how the three-action economy creates meaningful tactical choices every turn. We discuss when to Strike, Step, Raise a Shield, Recall Knowledge, and use reactions—showing how Pathfinder 2e rewards teamwork and planning without bogging the game down. This example play is ideal for new players, GMs preparing a Pathfinder 2e one-shot, or anyone who wants to see how PF2e rules flow in practice. By hearing the rules applied in context, listeners gain confidence running or playing Pathfinder Second Edition at their own tables. Key Takeaways Pathfinder 2e is easiest to learn by seeing the rules in action. The three-action economy gives players flexibility and tactical depth. Positioning, teamwork, and smart action use matter more than raw damage. PF2e combat flows quickly once players understand actions and reactions. One-shots are an excellent way to teach Pathfinder Second Edition. Clear rules structure makes PF2e beginner-friendly when demonstrated properly. Example play bridges the gap between reading rules and playing confidently. Join the RPGBOT Patreon! Want to see how these episodes come together before they're released? We walk through the full process: ancestry, background, class, ability boosts, skills, feats, and proficiencies, and explain how each choice shapes your character's role in the party. The discussion focuses on how Pathfinder 2e character creation differs from other tabletop RPG systems, emphasizing player choice at every stage without overwhelming complexity. We explain how ability scores are generated, why feats matter at level one, and how proficiency tiers influence long-term character growth. Whether you're building a frontline fighter, a cunning rogue, or a spellcaster with a carefully tuned spell list, this episode gives you the tools to make informed, confident decisions. Living here in the 21st century we are more awash in lies and half-truths than ever. How does one sift and sort what is emphasized, or reported? In this conversational episode Mark and I work through the kinds of lies that are perpetuated by politicians and media, but also the kind of subtle lies that infect and ruin a Christian worldview. Mark talks about what it was like to be on a couple of juries, one as a foreman, and how the attorneys would frame things so that the jurors would give their hearts to that specific argument. Ed talks about how to listen for what is not said and how what was constantly not said was important for his assessment of his own professorial position. We also note the kinds of things the major media do to shape and mold public opinion and public consciousness: under-report, selective-report, state half-truths, reframe instead of report. We don't want believers to be held captive by philosophies woven through with darkness. Come think and laugh with us!
