Pascal Wagner breaks down how the IRS categorizes income into three buckets—active, portfolio, and passive—and why high-income earners often misunderstand how tax write-offs actually work. He explains common investor mistakes, including expecting real estate depreciation to offset W-2 or stock-market gains, and shares the simple rule that changed his entire tax strategy: “you can only offset like with like.” Pascal also walks through exceptions such as oil and gas, real estate professional status, and opportunity zones, along with how wealthy investors intentionally shift income toward passive buckets for long-term tax efficiency. This episode teaches investors to stop chasing IRRs and start choosing deals based on what problem they solve in their tax plan. We've got an inspiring and eye-opening conversation for you this week as Mitch sits down with Shawn D. Nelson - the founder and CEO of LoveSac.  If the name sounds familiar, it should. LoveSac has become a billion-dollar disruptor in the furniture space, known for their ultra-comfy bean bags and their game-changing modular couches that are built to last a lifetime. But long before LoveSac became a publicly traded company with hundreds of retail stores… it started in Shawn's parents' basement with a roll of vinyl, some foam, and a wild idea. Since then, Shawn's story has included entrepreneurial highs (like winning Richard Branson's The Rebel Billionaire) and deep valleys (like navigating bankruptcy and rebuilding the company from scratch). Through it all, he's remained committed to building things that last - and helping others do the same. In this episode, we get real about Shawn's journey, his mission to inspire people to buy better stuff so they can buy less, and what it really takes to stay in the game long enough to win. This one's packed with powerful takeaways, candid stories, and practical wisdom for anyone who's chasing a big dream, yearning to lead more effectively or just wanting to live their best life! In today's episode I'm joined by the incredible Kurtis Lee Thomas, Founder of the Breathwork Detox modality — a transformative breathwork system that's been featured on The Today Show and used by some of the world's biggest organisations. Kurtis has brought his breathwork method into spaces like Nike, NASA, Fortune 500 companies, elite athletic teams and a long list of celebrities and high-performers. His work speaks for itself — the impact, the results, and the rapid transformation this modality creates are truly remarkable. In this conversation we explore - What breathwork actually is beyond the buzzword. The somatic, emotional and energetic logic behind Breathwork Detox. How one session can trigger release, clarity and nervous system reset. Why organisations like Nike and NASA are turning to breathwork for performance, focus and stress management. The deeper spiritual and alchemical dimensions of using breath as a tool for healing and awakening. Kurtis's personal journey into this work — and what breath can reveal when we learn to listen. If you are someone who loves embodiment, energy work, somatic healing or the deeper layers of consciousness — this episode is pure medicine. This is breathwork as alchemy, breathwork as initiation, breathwork as transformation. This month we turn our gaze upward toward the radiant realms of the Angels. Angels are not bound by religion. They are frequencies of divine intelligence — messengers of light, guardians of the heart, and allies in both healing and manifestation. Their presence reminds us that even in darkness, light is always near. Throughout November, we will be working with the Angelic Current — inviting clarity, protection and peace into our energy fields as we prepare for winter's stillness. KRAM Knives is named after my family: Kimberly, Ryan, Andrew, and Makayla. I started my company after my wife was injured at work, which led me to take care of her at home. One day, feeling bored, I walked into the garage, heated a piece of metal, and began hammering it. Eventually, the metal started taking the shape of a knife, so I added a handle. After that initial attempt, I thought to myself, "I can do better than this," and I made another knife.  I sold my first knife to a friend who had specific requirements, and he was genuinely surprised that I could create exactly what he wanted. In 2023, I attended my first show and managed to sell all but four of the knives I had made. By 2025, I invested in a heat treat oven, allowing me to start making stainless steel knives. I also began promoting my business on TikTok, which has helped me reach a wider audience.

Last Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed legislation to reopen the government that contained several additional provisions, including a ban on products made with THC derived from hemp. The ban reverses a provision in the 2018 Farm Bill that legalized the sale of hemp products with a low concentration of delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9 THC); that 2018 measure inadvertently allowed for legal production of THC-infused drinks, creams, gummies, oils, and vapes. The new provision is not an outright ban on all hemp and hemp products, but it narrows the definition of lawful hemp and imposes restrictions on both total THC limits and cannabinoids synthesized from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD). Trey Lauderdale is the CEO and Founder of Atomic Canyon, a company bringing artificial intelligence into the nuclear energy sector. Atomic Canyon recently deployed the first commercial on-site generative AI system at a U.S. nuclear facility. While AI's growth is creating massive demand for reliable, clean baseload power, Atomic Canyon explores the reverse question: does nuclear need AI just as much to solve workforce shortages and accelerate new reactor deployment? Trey's path to nuclear is unconventional. After building and selling a healthcare communications platform, he moved to San Luis Obispo and discovered he lived 10 miles from California's last nuclear plant. That proximity led to applying lessons from one highly regulated industry to another. In just two years, Trey has built partnerships with PG&E and Diablo Canyon, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Idaho National Laboratory, the kind of institutional relationships that typically take years to establish in the nuclear industry. Perhaps that speed says something about both the urgency of the problem and the credibility of the solution.Episode recorded on Aug 12, 2025 (Published on Nov 19, 2025)In this episode, we cover: [2:49] An overview of Atomic Canyon[04:45] Trey's  path from healthcare to nuclear [08:50] The myths vs reality of nuclear power plants[10:41] Understanding nuclear's administrative bottlenecks [12:14] How Trey started Atomic Canyon with no nuclear experience [17:59] Learning from Diablo leadership and facility[20:24] Deploying the first on-premise nuclear AI system[23:39] Security measures for data sets[29:23] Building NuclearBench with Idaho National Lab[32:02] Scaling from one plant to fleet-wide adoption[38:53] Where Atomic Canyon needs help [40:09] The company's funding to date Enjoyed this episode? In this special episode of the Eyes on Jesus Podcast, Drew and Tim sit down with Brady Sticker, founder of Church Candy Marketing, the agency helping over 1,000+ churches reach new families with targeted digital outreach. Brady shares the strategies behind churches seeing 20–50 first-time guests EVERY month, the spiritual tension of using social media for ministry, and why he believes now is the greatest opportunity in history for church growth. We dig into the big question from our previous episode (Should churches delete social media?) and explore a balanced, Bible-anchored approach to using digital platforms without losing our peace in the process.Brady opens with honesty: social media can absolutely be harmful. But instead of abandoning digital spaces, he challenges churches to redeem them. If people spend hours online, why wouldn't the church meet them there with the hope of Jesus? This episode explores how to engage these platforms wisely, purposefully, and missionally.Brady reveals the single biggest key to digital ministry success:Make people feel seen. With personalized messaging, real follow-up, and intentional digital hospitality, churches can help guests feel welcomed before they ever step inside the building. Social media isn't about likes or views—it's about real people with real stories.Brady breaks down:Why churches of under 500 need a different strategy than churches over 500How emotional connection beats flashy productionWhy AI helps churches stay consistent without losing authenticityWhat “Plan Your Visit” is and how it drives predictable growthWhether churches are truly “stealing” from each other when they run adsChurch Candy's approach isn't about hype—it's about getting new families into community, hearing the Gospel, and meeting Jesus. The goal isn't to replace pastors but to multiply their impact throughout the week. While automations and ads are useful, Brady reminds us that nothing replaces:real conversationsSpirit-led discipleshipgenuine relationshipsthe ministry of presenceChurches shouldn't use digital tools to fill seats—they should use them to reach souls and make disciples, not consumers. Not every tool fits every church, but every church can follow Jesus faithfully in its context.Website: churchcandy.comSocial: @bradysticker everywhereIf your church wants consistent, predictable guest flow, Brady's team is a trusted resource.Check out our brand-new merch store! https://eyesonjesuspodcast-shop.fourthwall.com/Get all our links in one easy place! https://linktr.ee/eyesonjesuspodcastGet the Eyes on Jesus 90 Day Discernment Devotionalhttps://a.co/d/3v8963sJoin our Group on Facebook- Eyes on Jesus podcast community https://www.facebook.com/groups/eyesonjesuspodcastEmail feedback, questions or show topic ideas to eyesonjesuspodcast@outlook.comFor more information on Drew Barker: Follow Drew on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/pastordrewbarkerDrew's church's website https://yes.online/For more information on Tim Ferrara: Get all his links in one place- to his social media, all 3 of his books, and more at https://linktr.ee/discerning_dad

This episode is a powerful call to action for men ready to live intentionally, with honesty, strength, and holistic wellness at the forefront. The Stallion Protocol: Realigning Men with Health and PurposeChristopher Zaino believes the root of many health struggles for men is denial. From ignoring symptoms to suppressing emotions, men are often conditioned to be self-reliant to a fault. He urges men to stop brushing off fatigue, digestive issues, or burnout—and to schedule regular checkups and address both physical and emotional health head-on.Beyond honesty, Zaino emphasizes understanding one's biochemistry. Through comprehensive blood work, lifestyle adjustments, and expert guidance, men can restore balance and reignite their performance and purpose. His protocol also prioritizes movement and mindset—integrating daily cardio and uplifting inputs like podcasts to elevate both body and mind.Another powerful pillar of Zaino's philosophy is vulnerability. By sharing his story, he discovered deep healing—and encourages men to do the same. He believes community, connection, and service are vital parts of wellness. In this episode of The Health Fix Podcast, Dr. Jannine Krause sits down with Dr. Nathan Bryan, a leading researcher in nitric oxide (NO) and molecular medicine, to explore how this essential molecule impacts vascular health, chronic disease prevention, sexual health, and aging. Dr. Bryan explains how nitric oxide is one of the body's most powerful signaling molecules—regulating blood flow, reducing inflammation, and supporting energy and performance at every age. He shares insights from over two decades of nitric oxide research, including his pioneering discoveries on how NO deficiency contributes to hypertension, inflammation, and sexual dysfunction in both men and women. They discuss why diet alone isn't enough to maintain optimal nitric oxide levels in today's world, how modern agriculture has stripped essential nutrients from our food, and how targeted supplementation and topical applications are helping restore balance and improve health outcomes. You'll also hear about the latest breakthroughs in nitric oxide therapy, including clinical results from Bryan Therapeutics, Inc. (BTI) and how innovative NO-based treatments are transforming care for heart disease, Alzheimer's, and chronic wounds. Whether you're interested in longevity, inflammation reduction, sexual health, or simply optimizing your circulation and recovery, this episode reveals why nitric oxide may be the missing link in your wellness strategy. What You'll Learn In This Episode: How nitric oxide drives circulation, vitality, and disease prevention and why most people are unknowingly deficient. The real reason inflammation and high blood pressure persist and how restoring nitric oxide balance can turn things around. Why nitric oxide matters for sexual and skin health and how aging and modern diets deplete your natural supply. Breakthrough nitric oxide therapies and supplements — what the research shows and how to choose what actually works.   Resources From The Show: Dr. Nathan Bryan is an international leader in nitric oxide biochemistry and molecular medicine. He was the first to identify nitrite and nitrate as indispensable nutrients for cardiovascular health and discovered the endocrine function of nitric oxide via the formation of S-nitrosoglutathione and inorganic nitrite. He has published numerous highly cited scientific papers, authored six books, and led multiple clinical trials validating nitric oxide-based therapies. Dr. Bryan is also the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Bryan Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company developing nitric oxide drugs for heart disease, Alzheimer's, diabetic ulcers, and wound healing. His consumer nitric oxide products can be found at N1O1.com, NO2U.com, and on Amazon.
