In this high-vibrational episode of Deepen with Christina, host Christina Weber is joined by body therapist, breathwork facilitator, and gene keys guide Dina Maayan. Fresh off the heels of the latest WeDeepen Love Immersion, the duo breaks down the serious mechanics of play and why infusing absolute silliness into modern connection is the ultimate medicine for shifting out of psychological heaviness. Dina pulls back the curtain on her cosmic origin story with her fiancé (Acro Yoga founder Jason Nemer)—involving smuggled Hawaiian mangoes, a symbolic totem box, and a literal coconut tree climb—while mapping out how human beings can alchemize deep childhood panic attacks into modern nervous system mastery. Main Topics Covered Play as a Metric of Success: Reframing comedy, improv, and games like Truth or Dare as high-frequency portals to bypass the adult ego. The Anatomy of a Perfect Prank: Dina's step-by-step formula for cultivating social courage, engineering creative characters, and leveraging vocal accents. The Magic of "Squish": Defining the conscious community's favorite somatic environment: Tempur-Pedic foam, sheepskins, and white fuzzy blankets designed for deep co-regulation. The Alchemical Totem Box: How Jason utilized a carved wooden box containing five specific symbolic items to explicitly anchor and manifest his future wife from the quantum field. Nervous System Leadership: Dina's personal path from experiencing severe childhood panic attacks at age six to training holistic breathwork facilitators globally. www.dinamaayan.com Sober Realities: Shifting away from drug-induced expansions into endogenous breath retentions to access higher, altered states of consciousness completely clean. Gene Keys and the Alchemy of Struggle: A philosophical deep dive into why your deepest structural wound or misfortune contains the precise raw materials to unlock your highest genius. Endings with Finesse: A transparent look at how Christina processed a very public romantic breakup without entering a victim consciousness state. Key Takeaways Inject Play to Dissolve Friction: When partnership or friendship feels bogged down by corporate stress or relational gridlock, strategic play acts as a rapid shortcut back to core alignment. Giving is an Inside Job: Authentic community belonging is established the second you stop searching for validation and instead step into a room as an active additive of service. Nervous System Co-Regulation: Public figures and master facilitators are not immune to social anxiety or blanking out. True safety is a physical, non-verbal resonance shared in real-time between bodies. The Antidote to Trauma is Self-Trust: Holding your breath on empty or full retentions trains the psyche to handle physiological stress, rewriting your baseline relationship with fear. Connect with the Guest About Dina Maayan: Dina Maayan is a Nervous System Expert and human optimization guide specializing in evidence-based somatic recalibration. As the founder of the Breath of Life Institute, Dina blends deep physiological science with ancient wisdom to help high-performing leaders, athletes, and creatives transition out of chronic exhaustion and stress patterns into sustainable clarity, focus, and authentic self-trust. Returning guest Simon Dixon, co-founder of global brand and design agency DixonBaxi, sits down with Radim as the studio approaches its 25th birthday to talk about what actually holds up over a quarter of a century. ~ This is a conversation about comfort without complacency — how a body of work lets you meet the world with strength instead of fear, why Simon has never asked permission or had a mentor, and how "access" quietly determines who gets to be daring in the first place. They trace the throughline from permission to curiosity to gratitude, unpack the real difference between fear and doubt, and land on why taste, judgment, and care will matter more than ever in a world being reshaped by AI.TakeawaysTwenty-five years in, real confidence isn't settled or atrophied — it's comfort earned through scar tissue and decision-makingIt's easy to be daring once you can pay the rent — access and infrastructure quietly gatekeep who gets to take creative risksThere's no such thing as a dead end or a mistake; there's only information about what you've won or haven'tFear and doubt aren't the same thing — doubt is the ache of growth, not a threat to surviveGenerosity and mentoring don't wait for success; Simon took on interns from day one of his careerGrowth happens in layers, not stages — self-focus, collaboration, and generosity all coexist rather than replacing one anotherTaste isn't universal — it's conviction applied to your own work, which is why Hemingway and Jane Austen can both be rightAI won't be a tool bolted onto creativity — it will be the infrastructure everything else runs through Daring Creativity. Buon ascolto!

Grief and healing don't always begin after the loss of a loved one. Sometimes they begin when we decide to let go of shame, forgive ourselves, and rewrite the story we've been carrying for years. In this episode of Groove with Portia, I sit down with Matilde Hernandez, author of Beyond These Walls and founder of Dare 2 Lift It. After experiencing incarceration, separation from her children, and the difficult journey of rebuilding her life, Matilde now helps others move beyond survival and into intentional living.Together, we explore what it means to release the labels that keep us emotionally imprisoned, why healing takes time, and how resilience is built one decision at a time. We also discuss the stigma surrounding incarceration, rebuilding family relationships, forgiveness, faith, and finding purpose after life's hardest chapters. In this episode, we discuss:• Healing after incarceration• Breaking free from shame and limiting beliefs• Rebuilding life after adversity• The grief of separation from family• Why an "incarcerated mindset" affects more people than we realize• Self-forgiveness and emotional healing• Finding purpose after trauma• Turning pain into purpose through storytellingNo matter what chapter you're in, this conversation is a reminder that your past may shape your story, but it doesn't have to define your future.Connect with Matilde Hernandezhttps://www.dare2liftit.comhttps://www.instagram.com/dare2liftit
A Dublin City Councillor has gone on Fox News and told Americans “don't come to Ireland… it's not safe” — and it's sparked a massive row. Adrian and Jeremy tear into Gavin Pepper's comments, the Jamie Carney murder investigation, and the controversy over Gardaí not releasing a “person of interest” photo. Is Ireland actually unsafe… or is this just anti-immigration politics and social media fear-mongering?
How did Tudor go from a brand you couldn't even buy in the United States to a half-billion-dollar powerhouse selling 300,000 watches a year? In this episode of Openwork, Gabe Reilly and Asher Rapkin trace the rise of Tudor — from its wilderness years in the shadow of Rolex to the 2009 reinvention that produced the Heritage Chrono, the Black Bay, the Pelagos, and an in-house movement. Along the way they unpack the ETA supply crisis, the 2008 financial crash, and Rolex's move upmarket that opened the door for Tudor to walk through. But this isn't the usual "poor man's Rolex" conversation. Gabe and Asher argue that Tudor's real role is stranger and smarter than that: the gonzo laboratory where Rolex tests every material, case size, and business model it's too disciplined to try itself. Tudor is the black sheep by design — the pressure-release valve that lets Rolex stay conservative while quietly backfilling the market it left behind as prices climbed. So where does it go from here? With 260-plus boutiques, celebrity wrists, and a brand that's broken into mainstream culture, Tudor looks like a company on the path to a billion dollars. The question is whether it gets there on brand alone — and whether a watch that exists relative to Rolex can ever truly stand on its own. Openwork is a weekly podcast about how the watch industry actually works. An unfiltered look behind the scenes — no press releases, no hype, and no sponsored takes. Visual artist and photographer Paloma Rincón joins Radim to trace a creative life built on colour, contrast, and control. Raised in Mexico City and surrounded by handcraft, tactile materials, and a graphic designer uncle, Paloma fell first for the analog darkroom, then for the still-life sets she builds entirely by hand. ~ She talks candidly about the shock of moving to a "monochrome" Madrid at a young age, the disciplined self-reliance it forced on her, and how a chance pairing of a disco ball and a melon became one of her most iconic images. The conversation moves from personal projects and happy accidents to the realities of commercial work, retouching, and surrendering control to a trusted team — closing on why she believes a distinct creative voice, not AI, will always be the thing that carries an artist through.TakeawaysChildhood surroundings shape creative instinct long before you recognise it — Paloma's love of colour, handcraft, and building spaces (rather than playing with dolls) runs through all her work todayMoving somewhere "greyer" doesn't just change your surroundings — it can force a self-reliance and discipline that becomes a lifelong assetA signature style often lives in tension: Paloma's geometric precision sits deliberately against organic, fluid elementsAnalog training builds a physical, technical understanding of light and process that digital immediacy doesn't automatically teachThe best juxtapositions — like the disco melon — often arrive as happy accidents inside a loosely defined creative "box," not a rigid planPersonal projects and commercial projects demand different relationships with control; knowing when to hold on and when to surrender is a craft in itselfRetouching your own work can be meditative, but stepping back and handing it to others often produces a better resultIn an AI-saturated landscape, a distinctive creative voice — not the tool — remains the real differentiator Daring Creativity. The sixth film in the notoriously dark and gory franchise is the most intense, grisly and gory one yet. We weren’t sure the movie could live up to all the hype, but it certainly did, and even surpassed our expectations. However, speaking of expectations, the film has not lived up to what producers were hoping, falling far short in its opening weekend. Perhaps, it’s just too scary, too violent and too much for most movie-goers… don’t judge us for highly recommending this flick to people with iron stomachs. The Long Cycles Become VisibleSomething unusual is happening in the sky this month. Not just the weekly transits. Something larger. A convergence of long cycles that rarely become visible all at once — briefly illuminated in ways that allow us to feel their presence and direction. This week I am taking more time than usual to orient you in that larger field before walking the specific transits. The Three Long CyclesIn astrology, when two outer planets meet in conjunction, they seed a cycle that unfolds over generations. Three of these great cycles were seeded in the last 130 years. This month all three are being activated simultaneously.Neptune conjunct Pluto in Gemini, late 1890s. Gemini governs mind, language, communication, and how reality is constructed and shared. This conjunction seeded a revolution in all of those domains — mass media, the discovery of the unconscious, technologies that transformed how human beings perceive and communicate. The AI emergence, the fracturing of shared reality, the speed at which language and information now move — this is that Gemini cycle in its current expression.Uranus conjunct Pluto in Virgo, mid-1960s. Virgo governs the body, healing, and the relationship between the individual and the systems they inhabit. This conjunction seeded a revolution in identity and power — civil rights, feminism, the environmental movement, the questioning of who gets to belong and on whose terms. The wounds of who has been excluded, whose body deemed less valuable, whose labor extracted — this cycle is still metabolizing in the collective body.Uranus conjunct Neptune in Capricorn, early 1990s. Capricorn governs structure, authority, and the institutions that organize collective life. This conjunction seeded the dissolution of old structures of collective meaning — the fall of the Soviet Union, globalization, the beginning of the internet age, the slow unraveling of institutional frameworks that once held collective life together. Those structures have never been fully replaced. What is breaking down in collective systems right now is this Capricorn cycle in its current expression. This month, through flowing trines and sextiles, all three cycles are being activated simultaneously. This is why many people are experiencing this time as both overwhelming and somehow significant in a way they cannot quite name. Something genuinely large is in motion.Key Cycles This Week:Monday, July 13: Venus in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini. Unexpected friction in relationship. A desire for more authenticity running up against existing patterns and expectations. Hold relationships with spaciousness. What feels like disruption may be asking for genuine realignment rather than repair of what no longer fits.Tuesday, July 14: New Moon at 22 degrees of Cancer. The most personal question in the middle of everything large: what do you need in order to feel genuinely held right now? This New Moon also invites tending the ancestral field. What has been passed down that is being asked to transform? What do you want to consciously seed differently for those who come after?Wednesday, July 15: Uranus in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries. The revolution in mind and communication in easy flow with the dissolution of old identities and the emergence of new vision. Genuine creative and visionary potential available today. Stay curious about what arrives in image, in impulse, in what the imagination reaches toward.Friday, July 17: Uranus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius. One of the most significant contacts of the month. The Awakener and the Transformer in flowing alignment, directly activating the Uranus-Pluto Virgo cycle of the 1960s. Where that conjunction was rupturing initiation, this trine offers flow — new pathways for what was seeded in that turbulent decade. Not a transit to merely observe. A transit to act from.Sunday, July 19: Mars in Gemini sextiles Saturn in Aries. A grounding close to an activated week. Inspiration finding form. Insight becoming commitment. What has moved through you this week that wants to become something real and actionable?Looking AheadNext week the activation deepens further — Jupiter opposing Pluto, the Sun entering Leo, Saturn stationing retrograde, and a Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto and square Chiron. A culmination moment for everything this two-week arc is building toward. Episode 374 will go deeper into what these cycles are asking of us personally and collectively.Reflection QuestionsOf the three great cycles, which feels most alive and present in your own life right now?At this Cancer New Moon, what does your interior life genuinely need in order to feel held enough to be present to what is unfolding? What does the larger arc of collective transformation seem to be asking of you specifically, given your gifts, your wounds, your particular place in the web of life? You are living inside something genuinely large. That is not a burden. It is, in its own way, a privilege — to be alive at a moment when the long arcs of collective transformation are briefly, unusually visible.Podcast poem: Continue by Maya AngelouIf you are feeling called to work more deeply with these themes of tending, belonging, and rooting yourself within larger cycles of change, I invite you to join me in the Root in the Sacred group coaching program. Henry VIII was a tyrant. He was a brutal, wilful, petulant king, whose desire to do whatever the hell he felt like and deal with the consequences later, had driven his country into uncharted and dangerous waters. And this is his reign made manifest upon the streets of London- a city filled with massive mock battles on the river, accidental shootings of washerwomen, new churches to prevent bodies being dragged through Whitehall Palace, confusing mass executions of both Protestants and Catholics on the same day, parades of soldiers never destined to fight, and the king going through wives faster than some residents went though a decent jacket. And in all of this- that highest ranked of all London residents, Thomas Cromwell was to fall from power and be put to death. The sheer madness of the king made manifest in a city just trying to cope with his whims… Cover includes altered version of the portrait of Henry VIII, done by Hans Eworth based on the original by Hans Holbein the Younger (1540-1547)

Sabrina walks me through the full Daré pipeline: Dare to Reclaim, a once-a-month vaginal ring delivering both progesterone and estradiol together (coming next year as a compounded prescription); a non-hormonal tamoxifen vaginal insert in development for breast cancer survivors who can't take estrogen; and Dare to Restore FloraSync LF5, a clinically studied vaginal probiotic launching this quarter. We also get into one of the most important consumer conversations I've had on this show: the truth about compounding. Compounded doesn't mean better — and Sabrina breaks down exactly what to ask when your doctor prescribes something, including whether the actual formula (not just the ingredient) has been clinically studied and published. And she closes with something I wasn't expecting — an invitation for anyone to invest in Daré Bioscience for as little as $250. Because if only 1% of healthcare dollars go to women's health, maybe it's time women funded it themselves. In This Episode:0:00 – Welcome Back & Part 1 Recap1:00 – How to Use Dare to Play: Where, How & What It Tastes Like4:00 – How Long Do the Effects Last?6:00 – Why Sabrina Founded Daré Bioscience9:30 – Dare to Reclaim: Once-a-Month Vaginal Ring for Menopause13:30 – A Non-Hormonal Solution for Breast Cancer Survivors16:00 – The Truth About Compounded Medications20:30 – How to Spot Junk Science & Ask Better Questions22:30 – Dare to Restore: Clinically Studied Vaginal Probiotic25:00 – Invest in Women's Health: Daré's Public Offering26:40 – Wrap UpAbout The Guest:Sabrina Martucci Johnson is a seasoned life sciences executive and passionate advocate for women's health innovation. I command men in the name of Jesus to repent and believe the gospel, though I know they can do nothing of the kind apart from the grace of God. I'm not sent to work according to what my own reason might suggest but according to the orders of my Lord and Master. Ours is the miraculous method which comes from the endowment of the Spirit of God who asks His ministers to perform wonders in the name of the holy child Jesus. We are sent to say to blind eyes, "See," to deaf ears, "Hear," to dead hearts, "Live," and even to Lazarus rotting in that grave and stinking − "Lazarus, come forth." Dare we do this?
Gospel Reading: Matthew 8:28-34; 9:1At that time, when Jesus came to the country of the Gergesenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one would pass that way. And behold, they cried out, "What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?" Now a herd of many swine was feeding at some distance from them. And the demons begged him, "If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine." And he said to them, "Go." So they came out and went into the swine; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and perished in the waters. The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, and what had happened to the demoniacs. And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their neighborhood. And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city.

Social media has become sacred ground for women ready to step into their power. Yet so many of us know the story all too well: life shifts, family takes the front seat, and the dreams we were building quietly get tucked away. Confidence dims. Momentum stalls. The version of us that was just getting started gets put on pause. My guest today is living proof that the pause is never the end of the story. Joy Foster is the founder and CEO of TechPixies, a social media training company that has guided over 16,000 women toward financial independence. She's an award-winning entrepreneur (the 2022 FDM everywoman Entrepreneur Award lives on her shelf), a former US Archery Team member, an Ironman finisher, and a gold-medal rower. Based in Oxford, Joy coaches youth football (soccer for our US listeners), raises two children, and champions women from every background who are ready to upskill and rise. In this conversation, Joy and I get into the real magic behind building a business with confidence, kindness, and the smart use of technology: What we explore together: - Why confidence and kindness are business superpowers, and how to be strong and soft at the same time - The concept of brave pants (yes, really, and yes, you need a pair) - How AI is reshaping social media content creation - Navigating the sudden wave of AI-generated content with discernment, including the risks around misinformation - The real challenges women face building businesses around their lives, and why remote work and flexibility matter - Practical strategies for women to use technology as an ally in growing their businesses Joy's journey is a reminder that when women are given the skills, the community, and the permission to take up space, extraordinary things happen. I Verbi Ausiliari: Essere e Avere 1. Andare si usa in tantissime espressioni quotidiane: "andare a piedi", "andare in macchina", "andare al lavoro", "andare a scuola". E poi c'è la classica domanda italiana: "Come va?". Una conversazione tipica al bar in Italia inizia praticamente sempre così! 4.

She shares the science and story behind Dare to Play, a topical sildenafil cream engineered with proprietary Dermaflex technology to deliver the active ingredient directly to genital tissue, enhancing physical arousal sensations within 10–15 minutes. We cover how Dare to Play compares to existing options like Addyi, Vyleesi, and testosterone — and why none of those address physical arousal the way this does. We also clear up a common misconception: this is not a lubricant. It works from the inside out, enhancing the body's natural lubrication response through increased blood flow.Sabrina walks us through exactly how to get a prescription today — via your own provider or a free telehealth consult— and explains the pricing: $99/tube, 10 doses, roughly $10 per use. Ever stopped to ask yourself, "How much is enough?" It's such a simple question. Many spend years working harder, earning more, striving for the next milestone, believing that one day we'll finally feel secure or free. But what if the real answer isn't about having more at all? In this week's episode, I'm sharing one of the most powerful mindset shifts I've had around money, freedom and creating a life you truly love. Instead of chasing an endless idea of "more", I want to help you discover the number that would genuinely set you free. In this episode, you'll discover: Why chasing "more" often leaves us feeling anxious, no matter how much we earn. The difference between your security number and your freedom number, and why both matter. How gaining clarity around your finances can reduce fear and help you make more intentional decisions. Three simple steps you can take today to start creating greater financial and time freedom. This conversation isn't really about money. It's about choices - and designing a life that's aligned with what matters most to you. Join us in Coaching - this month we explore Money and time, designed around the life you actually want - and a simple, courageous plan to start building it this month.
