    10 MINUTES TO LESS SUFFERING

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 28, 2026 10:03

This episode of 10 Minutes to Less Suffering explores how resisting what is happening in our lives intensifes stress, anxiety, fear, and emotional pain, and how acceptance can help quiet the mind and create space for what comes next. Through a deeply personal story of heartbreak, an unexpected injury, and receiving comfort at exactly the right moment, this episode reveals a powerful lesson: life may still be moving in our favor even when we cannot see it. Listeners will learn how to recognize when resistance is increasing their suffering, slow down during emotionally overwhelming moments, question fear-based thoughts, and use the practice of "Maybe" to become more open to uncertainty and possibility. Acceptance doesn't mean liking what happened or pretending something isn't painful. It means releasing the exhausting belief that life must be different before peace is possible. This episode is for anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, heartbreak, divorce, relationship changes, disappointment, uncertainty, parenting worries, career setbacks, or an unexpected change in life. It offers a gentle reminder that difficult circumstances are not necessarily the end of the story. Life is still moving, possibilities are still unfolding, and sometimes letting go of resistance allows us to see choices, support, and opportunities we could not see before. If life isn't going according to plan, this episode can help you find greater acceptance, emotional resilience, peace of mind, and hope in the unknown. For all you know, Maybe the best is yet to come. Lastly, you can also follow me on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn. What if one of the missing pieces in your pornography recovery isn't another tool, another filter, or another strategy? What if you need a deeper reason to live?In this episode of the Secret Habit Podcast, Shawn Bonneteau explores purpose, pornography recovery, the Hungry Heart, and the God-given gifts that make each of us uniquely equipped to live a meaningful life. After years of coaching Christian men, Shawn has seen how easily men can drift when they don't have a clear sense of purpose. When life feels monotonous, empty, or directionless, pornography can become an easy way to escape reality rather than engage with it. That's where the idea of The Burn & The Gift comes in.Your burn is what you care deeply about: the injustice, problem, or brokenness that you can't seem to stop thinking about.Your gift is what God has uniquely equipped you to bring to that problem. And when you begin connecting the two, something changes. You begin to see a reason to get up in the morning. A reason to endure hard things. A reason to live with conviction and purpose instead of constantly escaping. In this episode, you'll learn:Why purpose matters so much in pornography recoveryHow a lack of purpose can leave men vulnerable to drifting and escapeWhat Shawn means by your "burn"How to identify the injustices and problems that deeply move youHow to recognize your God-given giftsWhy your purpose is bigger than simply choosing a career or jobHow your gifts can be used to fight the things you burn forWhy discovering purpose can help you live a more colorful, meaningful lifeHow purpose connects to the Hungry HeartWhy lasting freedom is about becoming a mature man, not simply quitting pornographyThe goal isn't simply to find something impressive to do.It's to discover how God made you, what He has put on your heart, and how you can faithfully use what He's given you.Because when a man has something worth living for, reality becomes more compelling than escape. And that's a very different vision of porn recovery.Take the free Heart Hunger Clarity Quiz to begin discovering what your heart may actually be hungry for — including deeper needs around purpose, reassurance, connection, comfort, belonging, and more.

In today's episode, you'll discover: 1. Conflict may be the doorway to the relationship you actually want. 2. Stop outsourcing your judgment—even to really smart people. 3. Stop making your peace dependent on someone else's cooperation. To support these three takeaways, I chose a quote from Harriet B. Braiker: "Conflict can and should be handled constructively; when it is, relationships benefit. Conflict avoidance is *not* the hallmark of a good relationship. On the contrary, it is a symptom of serious problems and of poor communication." About Amy Armstrong: Amy Armstrong attracts smart, capable parents who are exhausted by conflict and ready to stop letting it run their lives. She helps them end the drama, trust their own judgment, and protect their children's freedom to simply be kids. She's not only a social worker and business owner, but a truth-teller who believes conflict is one of our greatest opportunities for growth. Her work helps people build stronger boundaries, make decisions that actually sound like them, and create deeper, more authentic relationships. You ever hang out with a kid who's really excited to show you his toys and it's like, to you, the toys are just kind of boring crap, but you play along because obviously it means a lot to him and he doesn't really understand that you have much better stuff to do? At a certain point, you've been pretending for so long that you catch yourself getting actually into it a little bit, but then the kid ends up taking a big smelly dump in his pants and you can tell it's time to go. Later, in the car, you're really thankful you don't have to clean up that shit. It smelled really bad. And the kid didn't even seem to notice. Victory or Death Fight for Faith. Fight for Family. Fight for Freedom. --------------------------------------------------------------- Article by John Zmirak- New Book by Chaberek, Greene Probes Evolution as a “Catholic Dilemma” John Zmirak August 5, 2026 Evolution, Faith & Science I recently returned from a two-week wildlife safari through Zimbabwe and South Africa. I visited Victoria Falls, which dwarfs Niagara, the extraordinary Table Mountain, and several wildlife reserves including Kruger National Park. The jeep rides through the brush yielded close encounters with female lions shepherding their cubs, male lions sleeping off meals, a leopard in a tree crunching the skull of an impala, herds of piously maternal elephants — only one of which came close to charging us — and a dozen other species of predator or prey. The high point, I'll confess, was one wildlife encounter in particular: when a troop of baboons charged the outdoor diners at The Black Marlin in Cape Town, driving them to flee, so the apes could stuff their faces with pilfered pasta. Sadly, I was sitting inside, so all I could do was cheer the hairy creatures on from through the window. Privacy Note: On play, Google may track viewers. YouTube's Privacy Policy. The Book of Nature I hope that I'm sufficiently grateful for this encounter with the baroque, sublime abundance of biology that our planet is privileged to host — alone, so far as we know, among the billions of planets. Gratitude should be aimed at a giver, and it was reading the works of Discovery Institute authors that made this easier for me. I could wonder at the tiny penguins that somehow survive in the Mediterranean climate near the Cape of Good Hope, or the birds that live symbiotically with wildebeests by feeding on bloodsucking insects, without the deflating idea lurking in the back of my mind, “This all the result of blind chance and iron necessity, with no crafting intelligence behind it.” Instead, I saw works of art, and found myself thanking the Artist. I was reading the Book of Nature, and seeing in it glimmers of divine action, intention, and generosity — as “natural philosophers” did from Kepler and Newton to Pasteur and Mendel. Back when I unreflectively adhered to the theistic (really deistic) evolution that's preached in most Christian pulpits, I accepted the notion that God was somehow behind every aspect of the cosmos. If pressed, I would have said that God had “guided” or “instigated” the emergence of extraordinary creatures like the zebras that stared at our jeep, the elegant kudus that capered past us through the veldt, the wild dogs that seemed at once so alien and so familiar that it was tempting to hop out and try petting them. (“Do not attempt this,” I was informed by our solemn African guide.) But all of life was at best a convoluted Rube Goldberg contraption, which Someone had set in motion then stepped away to observe. God even had humans in mind — deciding, for some reason, to slowly evolve His earthly image through a long chain of predecessor species, until at some point He chose to implant both rationality and immortal souls in creatures who'd mutated in and then emerged from the womb of an animal. I used to speculate about how that allegedly worked, and how I could reconcile it in some fashion with the Genesis account of God making man directly from the dust of the earth, and woman from his side. I remember thinking, lamely, “Maybe they were identical twins … and He switched Eve's sex before the ape gave birth to them?” Then I stopped bothering, encouraged by modern priests who treat not just Genesis but most of the Old Testament as mostly wholesome mythology, akin to that found in Bulfinch or Edith Hamilton. Christianizing Darwinists Obeying the dictum of 19th-century “Higher Criticism,” Christianizing Darwinists aim to explain away every claim of miraculous action — from the direct creation of man to the parting of the Red Sea, from Jesus' virgin birth to even his Resurrection. I was taught in high school that the last, most crucial Christian miracle, amounted merely to the “ongoing presence” of Jesus in his apostles' hearts and minds. Big whoop. In that sense, Adolf Hitler is still sadly with us. (If you want an account of how and why biblical critics crafted such blinders, read Scott Hahn and Benjamin Wiker's magisterial Politicizing the Bible, which I edited for publication.) Priests, theologians, bishops and even (recently) popes have responded to the popular triumph of Darwinism by dismissing most of the events recounted in Genesis as purely allegorical and moral. Keen to avoid being tarred as “fundamentalists,” and encouraged by some cautious leeway granted to evolutionary thinking by popes such as Pius XII and John Paul II, most Catholics have eagerly accepted that Darwin's theories fully explain the emergence of every living species, even man. Otherwise-orthodox believers have made this intellectual concession, convinced that “the science” is irrefutable, so the theology must make room for it. But what if, in fact, the science is very shaky, and the implications for a Christian worldview profoundly toxic? Those are the questions asked and convincingly answered in a new book, Creation or Evolution? A Catholic Dilemma. It's written in an extremely engaging format — a series of questions posed by science journalist Steve Greene and answered by theologian Rev. Michael Chabarek, O.P. It was Chaberek's previous book, Aquinas and Evolution, that convinced me to take intelligent design seriously, and embark on the journey through the works of Stephen Meyer, Michael Behe, Douglas Axe, and many others — to my profound intellectual and spiritual enrichment. This new book is every bit the equal of Chaberek's earlier work. He lays out the serious evidential weaknesses in the Darwinist claim to have explained the appearance of human beings by incremental mutations from previous apelike species. (For much more detail than this book offers, see Science and Human Origins, from Discovery Institute Press, which Chaberek cites.) He explains how circular logic and wishful thinking pervade the claims of paleontologists to have discovered non-human ancestors for our species, with periodic claims to have found a “missing link” based on tiny bone fragments of indeterminate origin. False First Principles But Chaberek's main focus is not on empirical flaws or gaps in the Darwinist account. Instead, he focuses on the false first principles that motivate, even compel Darwinists to invent their “just so” stories in the first place. Here's a sample of the straightforward, plain-speaking way that the authors convey key philosophical issues: If man did not come from the ape, then how did he come into existence? First, let us consider whether sciences such as paleontology and genetics are actually capable of providing an answer to this question. If man came into existence naturally, then, yes, because science explains the workings of nature. But if man came into existence supernaturally, that is, by the action of divine power exceeding the power of nature, then science cannot explain the beginning of man. Therefore, whether science can provide an answer to this question does not depend on scientific research, but on the previously adopted religious or philosophical assumptions. Chabarek argues convincingly that secularist and materialist assumptions precede and determine the scientific work of Darwinists, essentially forcing them to deny evidence of design, and to make impossible claims for the creative power of mutations — despite the overwhelming odds against blind chance happening upon even a single useful new protein in the entire history of life on earth (as Douglas Axe showed in exhaustive experimental detail in his book, Undeniable). When such bias-inducing reductionist assumptions migrate from the research papers of laboratory scientists into the works of Christian leaders, the consequences are even more baleful, Chabarek warns. If such a central question as the origin of the only rational species, the “image of God,” is to be surgically excised from the domain of religious authority and turned over to materialist scientists, what is to stop that same debunking impulse from undermining every mystery of faith? Should we leave Sarah's miraculous conception of Isaac to the gynecologists, the parting of the Red Sea to the oceanographers, and the resurrection of Jesus to the biologists? That's the inexorable logic of Christians who cling to Darwinist explanations of the “descent of man” from ancestral apes. Far better, Chabarek advises, for Christians who accept a long series of miracles and mysteries as entailed in the redemption of humanity to also make room for the Bible's literal account of the miracle of his creation — from the dust of the earth, by the hand of God. The Enlightened Family Business Podcast Ep. 167: The One Plan Every Family Is Missing with Libby Boatwright   In this episode of the Enlightened Family Business Podcast, host Chris Yonker sits down with Libby Boatwright — certified financial planner, former Stanford Medical Center chaplain, pastor, and author of The Last Things We Talk About — for a candid, deeply practical conversation about the one plan most families never make: an end-of-life plan. Drawing on decades of experience in palliative care, hospice work, financial planning, and pastoral ministry, Libby walks through the full spectrum of what families need to navigate when a loved one faces a serious diagnosis or decline — and why waiting until the last minute makes everything harder and more costly. Chris and Libby explore the critical difference between palliative care and hospice, how hospitals really operate and what they won't tell you, why your advanced directive is your most important legal document, the caregiving crisis quietly bankrupting American families, how to be an effective patient advocate inside a system not designed to help you, and what it actually looks like to help a loved one die well. Chris also shares his own firsthand experience navigating hospice for both parents — including a powerful story about standing up to a hospital trying to redirect his mother's care. One choice at the DMV can ripple into hundreds of surgeries, thousands of hospital hours, and a second chance at life for people you'll never meet. From the 2026 Mackinac Policy Conference, we sit down with Dorrie Dils from Gift of Life Michigan to unpack what actually happens when someone becomes an organ and tissue donor and why the system works only when families and clinicians can move with clarity and speed. We talk about Gift of Life Michigan's role as the state's organ procurement organization for deceased donation, how they coordinate with Michigan transplant centers, and how the program has scaled since 2016 from a few hundred donors a year to a pace of 600 plus donors, resulting in about 1,400 life-saving organ transplants annually. Along the way, we get into what “first of its kind” transplant procedures can mean for care in Michigan, plus the difference between living donation handled by transplant centers and deceased donation facilitated through Gift of Life. The heart of the conversation is human. Donor families face the worst day of their lives, yet many find real healing in knowing their loved one saved others. We also discuss why some organs carry extreme urgency, especially liver failure, where time is short without a transplant. Finally, Dorrie shares a practical policy push with big potential: expanding organ and tissue donation education in Michigan high schools so teens understand the decision before they're asked to register for the donor registry when getting a driver's license. If you care about organ donation, transplantation, Michigan health policy, or simply making sure your own wishes are known, listen now, then subscribe, share with a friend, and leave us a review so more people can find these conversations.Support the showEngage the conversation on Substack at The Common Bridge!

Joel Gandara fled Cuba on an overcrowded boat at age 4, grew up in poverty, and built and sold a multi-million-dollar men's apparel company — without ever having a master plan. He joins Ted Phaeton on The Modern Man Podcast to unpack the arc, the tactics, and the brotherhood he now runs for men who want more.   Joel is a Cuban refugee, a former apparel entrepreneur (he acquired 13 of 14 businesses that weren't publicly for sale — using handwritten notes as the opening move), and the founder of 31 Daily Challenges and The Brotherhood — an invitation-only community of 119 men across the country who meet the standard through his 31-day challenge process. His wife runs the equivalent for women.   In this conversation: the Garbage Pail Kids origin story (fourth-grade entrepreneur, out of necessity), why he never had a master plan and figured everything out along the way, the $160K cash-withdrawal moment that shifted his identity, why 100% of his risks got green-lit by his wife (and the exit-plan discipline that earned that trust), the organize-organize-organize principle that made his apparel company sale-ready without a scramble, the handwritten-note tactic that led to 13 acquisitions, the Brotherhood model (invitation-only, intentionally slow-growth, 2–5 new invites per class), why the lone wolf is losing more than he thinks, how to vet mentors ("how are they living, not what they show"), the anti-vanity discipline ($49 Timex, no mortgage, used truck bought cash — the more things you own, the more things break), and the line every married man should stitch on his wall: pick the damn place. Christopher traces his path from a corporate career and a master's degree to two years living in a rural Tanzanian village, and then to the moment that changed everythingA near-death experience on a class-five rapid on the Zambezi River, where he lost consciousness and came back with a completely new relationship to breath. On Fox News, Scott Hannity tries to scare his geriatric audience with Nixon's platform. Meanwhile, over at Bari Weiss' CBS, Gayle King, in an interview with Nixon, claims that she campaigned with Hasan Piker, which is not true. In desperation to tie Nixon to Piker, King asks if she would campaign with Piker, and Nixon responds by saying she is focused on Florida. Data shows that Angie Nixon overwhelming won in the least college-educated areas of Florida which is very rare for a progressive candidate. Andrea Gonzalez-Ramirez, Senior Writer at The Cut, joins the program to discuss her piece on Puerto Rico's water crisis. David Morales, candidate running to be the Mayor of Providence, Rhode Island, joins for a conversation about his platform and campaign. In the Fun Half: Brandon Sutton and Matt Binder join. In the dimly lit restaurant, our waitress quietly took our orders with a solemn expression. But then a customer kindly gave her a writing pen that had a little flashlight built into it. He told her it was so she could “see in the dark.” Her face lit up and her demeanor changed to reflect joy. It was evident that she as delighted by the gift—clicking the light off and on. When she left our tables, the man smiled as he whispered to me: “I think she brightened up when I gave her the pen. It made her day!” The God-given gift of light certainly brightens our days. Jesus is the ultimate gift of light—“Light . . . come into the world” to save the world (John 3:16-19). God provided this Gift because He loves us and wants to be in relationship with us. When we receive Christ as our Savior, our sins are forgiven, and we experience fellowship with Him. Jesus brightens our lives for all eternity. He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). As believers in Jesus, we’re also to be “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). When we receive the gift God gave us through Christ, we walk in His light and “shine [our] light before others” (v. 16). As He helps us, let’s shine for Him today!

What if the fastest way to grow your business wasn't working harder-but learning from someone who's already done it? In this episode of The Retreat Leaders Podcast, Shannon Jamail sits down with Shari Leid, internationally recognized keynote speaker, author, and entrepreneur, for a conversation about one of the most overlooked business skills: knowing when to ask for help.   Shari has built an incredible career as a professional speaker, but like many entrepreneurs, she wanted to diversify her business by adding memberships and retreats as recurring revenue streams.   Instead of trying to figure it out alone, she invested in learning from someone already doing it. She reached out to Shannon for coaching, attended the Retreat Industry Forum in Denver, and ultimately booked Retreat Ranch for her upcoming retreats.   This episode isn't just about retreats.   It's about humility.   It's about investing in yourself.   It's about surrounding yourself with people who have already solved the problems you're trying to solve.   If you're an entrepreneur who wants to host retreats profitably, this conversation will encourage you to stop reinventing the wheel and start accelerating your growth.   In This Episode You'll Learn: Why successful entrepreneurs ask for help sooner rather than later How to turn retreats into recurring revenue Why adding retreats can strengthen your existing business The value of learning from experienced retreat leaders How coaching and proximity accelerate business growth Why getting in the room matters more than consuming content online The mindset shift that separates successful entrepreneurs from struggling ones Whether you're a coach, speaker, consultant, author, or entrepreneur exploring retreats as a new revenue stream, this episode offers practical wisdom that can save you years of trial and error.   What You'll Learn How to make money with retreats How to turn retreats into recurring revenue Why coaching accelerates business growth The power of mentorship and proximity Why entrepreneurs should invest in learning before launching retreats How to avoid common retreat mistakes Why asking for help is a business advantage-not a weakness Key Takeaways The Best Entrepreneurs Don't Go It Alone Successful business owners know they don't need to be the expert in everything.   They find people who already are.   Retreats Can Become a Powerful Revenue Stream   When done strategically, retreats don't just create unforgettable experiences-they can become a profitable extension of your existing business.   Learn From Someone Else's Mistakes   Experience is valuable. Borrowing someone else's experience is even more valuable.   Proximity Accelerates Growth   Books, podcasts, and courses are helpful.   But getting in the room with experienced entrepreneurs changes everything.   Retreats Should Support Your Business-Not Distract From It   The best retreat leaders don't create retreats because they're trendy.   They create them because they align with their expertise, audience, and long-term business strategy.   About Shari Leid   Shari Leid is an internationally recognized keynote speaker, author, entrepreneur, and founder dedicated to helping people create meaningful lives and businesses through connection, courage, and intentional growth.   As she expands her business to include memberships and transformational retreats, Shari demonstrates exactly what lifelong learning looks like: investing in mentorship, surrounding yourself with experts, and taking action.   Learn more at: SharileidShari Leid | Executive Coach & Speaker | Connection Expert   The Retreat Leaders Podcast Resources and Links: Join our Mastermind in Austin! “Lincoln Center is multiple stages. I think probably over three dozen stages across 16 acres. It is a vast canvas in and of itself. And then we have this beautiful plaza that leads to this beautiful campus, and that's the visual I think that most people have when they think of Lincoln Center is this beautiful fountain in the center and these three gorgeous buildings. It's New York's biggest plaza, and it feels very vibrant and beautiful. In the summer, we really take that plaza and we transform it into a dance floor. So this idea of also interrupting what people's notion of Lincoln Center is because it's a space that is very aspirational, which is a great thing.”Shanta Thake is the Chief Artistic Officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts—the nation's largest performing arts complex. It's News Day Tuesday on The Majority Report On today's program: There are primaries in Florida, Alaska, California and Wyoming today. Oliver Larkin, candidate challenging Rep. Jared Moskowitz in the Democratic primary for Florida's 25-Congressional District has an interview shut down by the host after he points out Israel's genocide. Jared Kushner claims that negotiations with Iran are progressing nicely towards a deal. Meanwhile morale appears to be very low among deployed servicemembers in the Middle East as exhibited by a photo of messages written in dust on an airplane flap expressing frustration with Operation Epic Fury. Priya Jain, chair of the Heritage Conservation Committee of the non-profit Society of Architectural Historians and Associate Professor of Architecture at Texas A&M University, joins for a conversation about the Trump's administrations assault on historic preservation. The Cultural Heritage Partners and the National Trust for Historic Preservation have started a letter-writing campaign. They want 250,000 letters sent to representatives and Governors across the United States. You enter your information on the link below, and it generates the letter to your representatives or Governor. Then you hit send, and that is it. Link to Representatives and Senators & link to Governors In the Fun Half: Jesse Watters, the Fox News host who has what Germans would call ein Backpfeifengesicht, offers his alternative to Medicare for All—which is essentially to let poor people die in the streets while rich people get treatment. On Meet the Press, Hakeem Jeffries shares the same opposition to Medicare for All as Jesse Watters. Tim Pool seeks comfort from Stephen Crowder over his poor performance on Jubilee's Surrounded. Trump has a suspicious relationship with his special aide, Natalie Harp who reportedly moved into Trump's Bedminster Country Club locker rooms to maintain proximity to the president. Median Strategies, a company that released bad polling on multiple primary elections has ceased operations and issued a statement saying that they were operating as a public experiment. all that and more. It's a Fun Day Monday on The Majority Report On today's program: Donald Trump threatens to bomb the s*** out of Oman if they get in the way of a deal in a phone call with Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst. JD Vance says on the Fox News that the number one goal for the Iran war is to keep gas and oil prices lower for Americans. Trump must have been listening to the Vice President as he responded with a post on Truth Social that says the number one goal is to make sure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon.   Daniel Bessner, co-host of the American Prestige Podcast and publisher of the Imperialist Realism newsletter or Substack, joins the program for a conversation about his new book: "Imperialist Realism: Politics and Culture at the End of the American Century". Elijah Manley, candidate challenging Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the Democratic primary for Florida's 20-Congressional District, joins the program for a conversation about his campaign. In the Fun Half: Fox News' Joey Jones calls the sailors on the USS Lincoln that are complaining about being on the longest deployment in modern history sell outs. Trump says that he will never apologize for raising the cost of gas prices because it was worth it for Iran to never get a nuclear weapon. That message should play well during the midterms. Trump's polling with Hispanic men has drop 51 points since 2024. RFK, Jr. debases himself while trying to defend Trump's claim that he saw a baby getting a vaccination the size of soda bottle. It's Casual Friday on The Majority Report On today's program: Conditions on the USS Abraham Lincoln have deteriorated to the point that servicemembers are attempting to jump overboard. Food is rotting, hygiene supplies are depleted and morale is very low. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, on CNN, makes a plea to Secretary of War Pete Hegeseth to do his job and fix this horrible situation on the USS Lincoln. Hegseth denies the reporting on the conditions and thinks he can placate servicemembers by spewing effusive nonsense. Jeet Heer, national affairs correspondent at The Nation and host of The Time of Monsters Podcast, joins the program to recap the week's news. Topics include Tuesday's primaries, the media's Hasan Piker obsession, inflation, midterm elections and more. In the Fun Half: Shane Gillis teaches Joe Rogan about Donald Trump's Truth Social early access scam where people can pay $100k to see his posts early and then use the info to bet on the markets. Shane Gillis then teaches Joe Rogan about Teddy Roosevelt's Square Deal and Gillis advocates for a second version, but Rogan says that if someone tried then "they" would kill that person. Rogan brags about the UFC White House event and Gillis expresses regret over attending the fights. Wisconsin Democratic candidate for Governor in Wisconsin, David Crowley, gives a wishy-washy answer on the massive unpopularity of data centers in the state.  Ken Paxton tries to blame his lazy campaign for Senate in Texas on the fact his runoff with John Cornyn drained his coffers. A "centrist" in Colorado is running as an independent against Melat Kiros but is easily exposed by crackerjack local journalist Kyle Clark as being a conservative Zionist.
