If we think we don't have access to hypnosis, we actually do. Hypnosis is the slowing down of the brain waves into a theta state which we enter often: for example, driving somewhere and not remembering how we got there is when our brains are in theta. Through repetition, practice being aware of those slow moments and using mantras to submit to the subconscious such as, "I am capable of establishing boundaries," and "My power comes from within," or "I am loved."4. Don't be a collector of personal development info or books, take action! All the research can be read and articles full of tips and tricks can be analyzed, but it's not until there is physical practice that results will be made. It will feel daunting and mistakes will be learned, but the change for quality of life improvement will be well worth the leap.
