Silver & Platinum 2025 Outlook: Market Deficit Signals Bullish Breakout

Platinum and silver are heating up—are you paying attention? In this episode, we break down China's stunning platinum import numbers and the quiet supply crunch reshaping the precious metals landscape. Silver's surge is no fluke either, with industrial demand and retail momentum building fast. If you want to understand where the smart money is heading in 2025, you won't want to miss this. Download now and get ahead of the curve before the breakout becomes the headline.   China's Platinum Buying Surges: In April 2025, China imported 11.5 metric tons (370,000 oz) of platinum—equivalent to 98% of the entire NYMEX platinum warehouse stock—signaling aggressive demand amid global supply deficits. Platinum Poised for Rerating: Platinum's rally above $1,100/oz may mark the sixth breakout from consolidation since the early 2000s. The metal remains undervalued relative to gold, especially with industrial, jewelry, and investment demand rising in Asia. Silver Fundamentals Strengthen via Solar Demand: China continues to expand solar infrastructure at record pace, bolstering industrial demand for silver and setting the stage for continued price strength.

Tom Bodrovics welcomes John Johnston (JJ), a seasoned trader with over 47 years of experience and 30-Years on the Comex and Nymex. John expresses a bullish stance on gold, emphasizing its long-term potential despite near-term volatility. He acknowledges silver's struggles due to contango and high costs but remains optimistic about its eventual rebound. He also highlights his bullishness on bonds and the U.S. economy, crediting President Trump for fostering positive change and balance in the financial system. JJ's trading strategy revolves around technical indicators like the slow stochastic oscillator and Wells Wilder's directional movement indicator, which he applies across various markets. He stresses the importance of position sizing, risk management, and understanding one's limitations as critical components of successful trading. The conversation delves into broader economic themes, including Trump's policies on taxation, tariffs, and antitrust measures, which JJ believes could redistribute wealth more equitably. He also touches on risks such as geopolitical tensions and potential recessions but remains optimistic about the administration's ability to navigate these challenges. John critiques the Federal Reserve's dual mandate, arguing it should prioritize protecting the dollar and banking system. He reflects on the historical significance of current events, likening them to pivotal moments in American history that will shape the nation's future. Diversified Energy Company PLC CEO Rusty Hutson Jr. joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's latest milestone—signing a major supply agreement with a prominent Gulf Coast LNG facility. Under this new three-year contract, starting in November 2024, Diversified will provide approximately 40 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas, using a fixed pricing structure indexed to Gulf Coast prices. Hutson emphasized the significance of this agreement, which supports global energy security at a time when trading partners are grappling with supply disruptions, geopolitical tensions, and rising regional demands. The contract underscores Diversified Energy's reliability in natural gas production and operational efficiency, while offering the company another avenue to boost margins and ensure stable cash flows. Furthermore, Hutson noted that the company has strategically capitalized on the recent strength of natural gas prices to expand its hedge portfolio for 2025 through 2027, with an average NYMEX hedge price of approximately $3.45 per MMBtu. This proactive approach ensures steady pricing and enhances the company's long-term financial performance, positioning it to navigate future market conditions effectively. #proactiveinvestors #diversifiedenergycompanyplc #lse #dec 3nyse #dec #LNGSupply #NaturalGas #EnergyMarket #RustyHutson #ProactiveInvestors #EnergyDeals #GulfCoastEnergy #LNGExport #GlobalGasSupply#invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Markets are looking to push to all-time highs, and breadth has improved markedly; the ten-day rate of change has been extremely strong. We've had ten-times more stocks advancing on Friday than were declining. So market bullishness is the trend for now, with concerns and fears of a decline fading into the background. For now. The market is pricing in a zero-percent chance of a recession, but is also rapidly reaching over-bought conditions. The market needs a break at this point, which will give opportunity to add exposure. Gold has had a very nice run, seeming to stagnate somewhat, while maintaining a bullish trend. However, a monthly chart of Gold performance would indicate peaks in prices corresponding with over bought markets typically precede corrections (remember, Gold prices are driven by commodity traders on the NYMEX). Gold traders are extremely long in the speculative positions in Gold, currently. Our advice here is to remember to take profits and rebalance your positions at this point. Tom welcomes back Analyst and experienced commodities trader. Michael now provides advisory through his website moor-analytics to bring actionable intel for traders. Michael is a technical-based analyst and has a deep understanding of commodities like the natural gas market. He believes that technical analysis can be a powerful tool to get in and out of markets before the fundamentals catch up. The two experts discussed the technical patterns for gold, the S&P 500, and Bitcoin. For gold, they looked at various timeframes to gain more insight. On the S&P 500, they talked about the exhaustion levels and the bullish correction that could be triggered if the market holds. Michael also noted that the current character of the market is a corrective character, not a trending one. Finally, they discussed Bitcoin, noting that the rollover in November 2021 put the market into a bearish trend. However, they suggested that the market is building a base, and the nervousness has been put on hold. Overall, Michael Moor is an experienced trader and technical analyst. He believes that technical analysis can be a powerful tool to get in and out of markets before the fundamentals catch up. He also looks at the macro level of a market, layering a shorter-term basis on top of that. He also looks at seasonality, which could be a major factor for example in the natural gas market. Finally, Michael is currently bearish on gold and expects a pullback in the near future. Today we had a fantastic guest join us, Ted Nordhaus. Ted is the Founder and Executive Director of The Breakthrough Institute and a co-author of "An Ecomodernist Manifesto" as well as "The Death of Environmentalism." Ted has spent his career advocating for technical solutions to environmental problems and is a thought leader on energy, the environment, and global climate. We covered a lot of territory in our time together and were thrilled to visit with him! The Breakthrough Institute is a global research center that seeks innovative technological solutions to environmental and human development challenges. We enjoyed learning more about their areas of impact and in our discussion we also touched on Ted's observations on the current state of the environmental world, his recent article in Foreign Policy, the issues with denying developing countries resources and infrastructure to use fossil fuels, the impact of Ted's upbringing and background, which countries are funding developing nation's energy growth, nuclear as a prime example of technology that has both scale and impact, the deregulatory movement needed to fix seventies era environmental laws that are still in place, and much more. We could have continued for much longer and greatly appreciate Ted for joining. In our upfront discussion, Mike Bradley shared bond, commodity and equity performance from the past week noting the widest inversion of two and ten-year US government bond yields since 2000, natural gas pricing's tie to demand over the next few weeks, midterm elections, and COP 27. Colin Fenton zoned in on oil and gas prices, specifically the difference in probability for NYMEX and WTI prices over the next few weeks compared to 2023. We also had Veriten's nuclear champion Brett Rampal join for today's session. We hope you will enjoy the session as much as we did. Thanks to you all!

Tom welcomes a new guest, Michael Moor, to the show. Michael is an analyst with a fifteen-year career on the floor of the NYMEX. He now provides industry-leading analysis and directional calls in the Gold and Energy Markets. He explains the importance of using technical trading and why it normally leads fundamentals. Michael explains what led him to make the call for low oil prices back in 2020. Heating oil and gasoline lead crude oil about eighty percent of the time, which can be highly advantageous in trading. He explains some of his analysis for gold and how time frames influence his calls. Various formations are usually a gradual progression over different time frames that eventually result in a move. He feels the down move in the S&P this year is more of a bearish correction within the longer bull cycle. He gives us his analysis on where the equity markets may be heading. Should the S&P hold around this level, we could see a substantial move upwards. He also believes that energy will be moving to the upside. Lastly, he discusses crude spreads and how they can be a leading indicator. Understanding the inner workings of energy options can give a trader an enormous advantage. Dennis Davitt has spent more than 3 decades in option markets. Getting his start in the crude pit on the NYMEX, he soon thereafter moved to equity derivatives, a product he's run risk in across both the sell-side and buy-side through many cycles. Through our conversation, we learn of the strong appreciation for liquidity – especially as it relates to dynamic products like options – that Dennis has gained through the many vol events he has traded through, especially during his long tenure running equity derivatives at Credit Suisse. In his rendering, it is from these episodes that we see two consistent outcomes emerge. First that investors become overleveraged and second that books wind up mismarked in some way. Here he cites the concept of “liquidity delta”, a metric that incorporates the impact of one's own presence and that of similar participants in markets. Impressed by the efficiency of prices in US-listed option markets, Dennis sees little obvious opportunity to extract arbitrage profits. Instead, he sees option markets as a vehicle to produce an intended risk outcome. And here, we shift to the work that Dennis is doing as CIO of Millbank Dartmoor Portsmouth, a firm he founded in 2020 to provide a risk-managed equity alternative through an options overlay. We explore the factors driving the flat skew in S&P 500 options as Dennis contrasts today's setup versus that which drove the famous XIV blowup in early 2018.  I hope you enjoy this episode of the Alpha Exchange, my conversation with Dennis Davitt.

US CPI Surprise - What it Means for US and Global Inflation

The US July CPI result was better than expected, with headline inflation moderating to 8.5% yoy (from 9.1% in June), mainly thanks to a 4.6% mom fall in energy costs. This was on the back of a 10.4% mom fall in Brent oil prices and a 8.5% mom fall in Nymex natural gas prices. It is not obvious this is being repeated in August: so far, on average oil prices have fallen a further 7.5% mom, but gas prices have rebounded 12.6% mom, and overall the CRB index, which fell 9.5% in July, is almost unchanged. Still, July's result is strong enough to allow us to scale back the likely inflationary trajectory in the US, with it now expected to peak at 9.1% in September, before drifting down to below 8% by end-2Q23. But two caveats. First, I'm fashioning these trajectories from the 6m deviation in 5yr seasonalized trends - but volatilities in CPI indexes during the last six months have been consistently dramatic (both above and below trend), and in some cases (UK) positively freakish. So even a 6m trend assumption isn't looking particularly stable month-on-month. Second, whilst inflationary pressures may be moderating in the US, they are only now beginning to show up in force in NE Asia. Overall, this means that my measure of global aggregate inflation continued to rise in July. . . .

Platinum surplus forecast to reduce significantly

The platinum surplus in 2021 is forecast to reduce by 47% in 2022 as Covid-related and operational disruptions gradually settle, the World Platinum Investment Council (WPIC) states in its Platinum Quarterly. Covering the fourth quarter of 2021, along with a full year review of 2021 and revised forecast for 2022, the WPIC's Platinum Quarterly states that Covid--related factors and operational disruptions played out particularly during the second half of 2021, having a huge impact on both the supply of and demand for platinum. (Also watch attached Creamer Media video.) Despite significant demand growth in most sectors, strong supply levels – boosted by a production surge from the accelerated processing of the backlog of semi-finished material – combined with the reduction in Nymex stocks and net negative exchange traded funds demand saw a platinum surplus of 1 232 000 oz, with total platinum supply increasing by 21% and total demand decreasing by 9% year-on-year. As these issues normalise in 2022, this surplus is forecast to reduce by 47% in 2022 to 652 000 oz, as demand increases 7% (+520 000 oz), while supply declines 1% (-61 000 oz). The quarterly refers to the role of green hydrogen as being more widely accepted for decarbonisation, which has benefits for platinum owing to its use in both electrolysers to produce green hydrogen, and in hydrogen fuel cells. It reports that investors are becoming increasingly aware of platinum's key strategic role in unlocking hydrogen's crucial contribution to achieving global net zero targets. Furthermore, the role of green hydrogen in reducing European gas imports could drive a strategic acceleration of electrolyser construction, which would benefit platinum directly but also support the infrastructure needed for broad-based commercial adoption of fuel cell electric vehicles Mining Weekly is able to point out that 20% of green hydrogen into the existing gas infrastructure would halve Europe's reliance on Russian gas, now of key concern owing to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. There are also early indications that supply disruption of palladium from Russia may well enhance platinum demand. Imports into China have exceeded the Asian giant's visible demand needs with unwrought platinum alone amounting to 2.75-million ounces, an increase of 45% on the already elevated levels in 2020 - and more than twice the average annual flows over 2016 to 2019. Increase in platinum supply in 2021 is forecast to plateau in 2022, as the last of additional semifinished material is processed. Significant rises in automotive (+11%), industrial (+27%), and jewellery (+5%) demand in 2021 set to remain strong in 2022. In a Zoom interview Mining Weekly put these questions to WPIC director of research Trevor Raymond. Mining Weekly: Your Platinum Quarterly release mentions Covid-related and operational disruptions in 2021 that have had an effect on supply – can you describe more specifically what these have been, and why they are likely to settle in 2022? Raymond: We had two real issues that played out in 2021. Firstly, we saw operational disruptions due to Covid in 2020, and those were less so in 2021. But certainly there was some operational impact – absenteeism, etc – so supply was reduced slightly at the at the mining level. The second big issue that played out in 2020, you'll recall that the Anglo American Platinum's converter was offline for a couple of months earlier, and then later in the year. That resulted in quite a large backup of about 560 000 oz of platinum. We saw, they're starting to come out in 2021. But it really accelerated towards the end of the year, and by the year-end, that was almost all processed. What we had was mining still at levels potentially a little bit below pre-Covid levels, but a massive boost to refined production that came out, and a lot might have assumed that the high margins being made by the platinum group metals miners caused that, but it was actually a the release of that mat...

NRG also helps them achieve energy flexibility — an important price strategy goal —  with distributed energy and demand response. Rob's team provides market expertise to help businesses manage their energy strategy, helping customers reach their sustainability goals and navigate the challenge of the ever-evolving energy industry. Managing data Many of NRG's customers are evolving from smart energy managers to smart data managers. More customers want real-time access to their information, using this knowledge to better understand their energy usage in the context of other marketplace data and trends around them.NRG's operating platform is the central nervous system that collects that data and powers the analytics that help support the customers, making them more effective in their operations across the spectrum of NRG. Through their operating system, NRG can track trends from the individual business level up to an extensive network level. For example, they can view one customer's usage in terms of how they are being affected, as well as their effect on a region or specific industry. NRG uses this information to make decisions that benefit its customers and deliver insights that help them make informed decisions in the future. Customer Choice Two significant societal drivers are pushing the evolution of customer choice. The first is digital. People are now used to a digital-enabled lifestyle that never could have been imagined possible years ago. Technology has helped customers become more knowledgeable about their energy usage and options. The engaged energy customer wants to be a partner who's constantly thinking about and tailoring their energy experience, so these partners need to accelerate their efforts to provide those types of technological solutions. The second trend is the overarching need to decarbonize energy use. Both society and industry have a role in decarbonizing to address climate change. Energy is a massive component of decarbonization inside the economy. Renewable energy is the most visible way to decarbonize and has become more affordable and accessible than ever before. Prices are expected to continue to decrease and customer choice to continue to grow.  Resources & People Mentioned Energy Advisory Services NRG Products and Services Rob's Blog on Looking Ahead Connect with Rob Gaudette On LinkedIn Robert Gaudette is Senior Vice President of NRG Business, where he manages the largest B2B retail gas and power platform and the top three largest provider of demand response in North America – overseeing market leading products and services, including renewable energy acquisition strategy and private load management programs.

SD Bullion
What is This Billionaire‘s 2021 Gold Bet?

SD Bullion

Play Episode Listen Later Sep 7, 2021 16:41

John Paulson, a multi-fiat Fed note billionaire Wall Street trading legend, was interviewed on August 12th, 2021, and Bloomberg Wealth published these video clips this past week.  This famed, often highly leveraged derivative, a trader who helped his firm and investors net over $20 billion on a trade shorting the 2007/2008 housing market credit bust, had additional sharp insights on the parabolic future price climb for gold. The close to this week's silver and gold derivative trading hours ended on a positive note for bullion bulls. A massive near 500,000 jobs bolstered both respective silver spot price and gold spot prices in August 2021. The gold-silver ratio also fell firmly on the news, showing signs that derivative traders were seeking alpha by placing down additional silver derivative long bets.  Sideways spot price consolidations can wear people's excitement and patience out. But this last year to time for silver bulls like myself and the extended base we have been building signals tremendous upside energy likely ahead. And with fiat creationist cartels en route to doubling their ballooning balance sheets within the last two years, well, a reckoning in store of value confidence is what I continue actively betting on and saving against. This week we have some exciting news from various important gold stacking and even increasing commodity-price-discovering nations on the other side of the world. We'll begin with news out of China. Note the mentioning of shipping futures contracts and the massive escalating price squeeze ongoing for goods from China to the USA since the pandemic.  Much of these shipping price escalations have and will likely continue to be passed off to consumers with higher prices for goods coming out of China. Also, China is still the world's largest consumer of commodities, and it's not close in terms of the second-largest market buying most things critical for a quality modern lifestyle.  Pretty easy to guess that China wants to wrestle much commodity price discovery influence away from futures markets like the US-based COMEX and NYMEX to have her longer-term agenda more easily appeased.  Of course, Russia likely knows well the International Monetary Fund's Special Drawing Rights history. The SDR began in 1968 as a supposed gold-backed freely convertible supra-central banknote only to morph into year another complete fiat currency contrivance. The SDR fiat currency unit inputs basket has lost over 97% of its value to gold bullion. And the Russian Federation likely agrees that the SDR devaluation vs. bullion trend is not changing anytime soon. Gold market analysts Daniel March and Krishan Gopaul were quick to cite massive gold demand out of India for this past month of August 2021.  Remember how last week we mentioned Germany had almost imported 100 metric tonnes of gold in the first half of 2021? Well, India did that and more in August alone. India's most significant gold bullion buying nation f India is getting back on track, and it appears she is well open to importing 1,000 metric tonnes for the year.  This week Market Watch had an exciting story citing estimates that an additional 20% of undocumented smuggled gold moves into India annually — stashed inside wigs, jeans, shoes, and other body cavity regions. The reason for this at a large scale is the arbitrage of possibly avoiding the 7.5% duty and tax slapped onto both gold and silver bullion bar imports into India. A country that is preparing to launch trial programs for its fiat CBDC rupee late this year 2021. The Indian banking system is notorious for being insolvent and not writing down bad loans and debts, so moving to a fiat CBDC grid and killing cash is likely a high priority for the financial powers.  Finally, to close, I will leave a link to an interview I did yesterday with Tom from Palisades Radio. https://youtu.be/QHKOirpEkqc   In the interview, I go over a bit of what I am about to tell you. My recent less than 24 hours one day trip through Istanbul, Turkey, was eye-opening. The ancient and largest city on the European continent, with portions of it extending on the continent of Asia as well. About 16 million people live there at the moment.  And the majority of the people living there are suffering under severe currency devaluation and ongoing price inflation. Historically and currently, this part of the world has a massive gold trade, not merely in annual demand for high-grade gold jewelry manufacturing but also its growing gold refining capacities.  Increasingly too, as the Turkish lira continues devaluing, their demand for silver continually grows, as likely the poor man's gold is deemed a better value and with a reasonable price range.  In mid-2208, the Turkish lira was almost at par with the fiat Federal Reserve note, and now it takes over eight fiat lira to get one US dollar. So I went there with the express intention to buy some high-grade gold jewelry gifts in their world-famous Grand Bazaar. The trouble was they had a national holiday on August 30th, so I will have to return happily. Here's the point, I didn't get my high-grade gold jewelry gifts, but what I did get was some perspective of how lucky I am. That day I got to meet and sit with a young, charismatic Syrian refugee for a 15-minute tea, and we quickly got to the point where he mentioned how terrible his job was. He complained of having to work 12 hour days with no breaks and how his pay was demolished by ongoing lira price inflation. Never mind the fact that his home country was recently ravished by war.  I bet if you asked a lot of these people here, they would tell you similar or even possibly worse stories. You see, most of watching this video have been lucky, including me: Count, our blessings, That is all for this week's SD Bullion market update. As always, take great care of yourselves and those you love.

Ziyen Inc. CEO Interviews David Greenberg, Former NYMEX Executive Committee Member, University Lecturer and News Commentator for BOOM! It’s on the Blockchain. PODCAST: David Greenberg discusses his key role in the transition to digitally trading commodities during the early 1990s and leading the global recovery effort for the oil market immediately after 9/11 as a board member of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the organization that established and influenced the world’s oil market. As an early supporter in the transition to digital commodity trading, David Greenberg was crucial to developing the digital trading platform software now used in all commodities trading. Starting his career as a crude oil and gold pit trader, David rose to become a member of the following NYMEX committees: Corporate Governance, Marketing, Facilities, Building Security, Local Advisory, Electronic Trading Advisory, International Expansion Advisory and, NYMEX Finance Committee. David was a board member during the most successful IPO in U.S. history, in which the growth valuation for the NYMEX IPO went from $800 million to $12 billion. After the September 11th terrorist attacks, David was part of the September 11, 2001 NYMEX Business Recovery Board, in which he helped lead a team that effectively reinstated the framework for oil trading and avoided a global economic collapse, all under direct instructions from the White House. David is an expert oil commodities commentator for CNBC, CNN, Fox News and has lectured at the West Point, Columbia University, Syracuse University and more. As a seasoned and experienced financial global market expert, he was part of the launch of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, a subsidiary of NYMEX. David is president of Sterling Commodities Corporation, one of the largest New York-based commodity clearinghouses. David Greenberg adds: “Alastair’s vision for a more liquid and streamlined oil industry immediately grabbed my attention because I have had the luxury to see historical seismic shifts in the oil market. The way Ziyen Inc. intends to tokenize oil is one of those promising shifts that we cannot ignore. We are all watching to see how Ziyen Inc. evolves and plans to change the markets using blockchain and tokenization in ways that are groundbreaking and novel.

GOLD!  No matter how expensive or cheap gold is, there’s always a lot of conversation about investing in it through an IRA or 401k.  But the IRS says you can’t use your IRA to invest in collectibles, which includes metals and coins.  Is it even possible or legal to buy gold in your IRA or 401k?  I’m Bryan Ellis.  I’ll tell you the answer right now in Episode 147.-----Hello, SDI Nation!  Welcome to the podcast of record for savvy, self-directed investors like you! It’s always easy to stir up conversation and find out what a person’s world view is by bringing up the topic of gold investing.  Gold is the one asset where many otherwise intelligent investors are wholly willing to completely ignore declining value just because of the feeling of security offered by ownership of the asset.  It’s as if Gold occupies some rarified plain of uniqueness among asset classes. And you know, I’m not really going to argue with that.  I’m not a total brainwashee to the whole “gold” thing… but I certainly see the point of those who are.Having said that, there’s a curiosity – more of a technicality, actually – that you need to know about if you’re interested in using your retirement account to purchase gold. The technicality is that, technically, you can’t really do it.  The IRS specifically includes bullion and coins in the definition of the term “collectibles”.  And collectibles is one of only two asset classes specified as wholly unavailable to retirement accounts, with the other being life insurance. And if you can’t buy gold in the form of bullion or coins, how will you buy it?Fortunately, there are exceptions.  Those exceptions are rather specific, but not unreasonably restrictive.  Here’s the gist of it:If you want to buy bullion – specifically, gold, silver, platinum or palladium – the purity of the bullion must be equal to or greater than the level required by public exchanges like COMEX or NYMEX, which is measures about 99.9%… in other words, very, very pure bullion.  If it meets that standard, then your retirement account is allowed to purchase it.And then there’s the question of gold coins.  The rules are fairly rigid here as well.  By and large, government-manufactured gold coins are acceptable.  For example – American Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs and Australian Nuggets.  But the purity standard still applies.  For that reason, some popular government-issued gold coins, including the South African Krugerrand, which has a purity below 92%, does not meet the qualifications. But that’s not the end of the story.  Now that your retirement account has purchased bullion or coins of the appropriate purity, the next big question becomes:  Where are those assets physically housed?  Do you get to take possession of those items, such as to store in a home safe or safe deposit box?Folks, this answer certainly isn’t going to make you happy if you’re one of the many people who have an inherent distrust in either financial institutions or the government – which certainly includes me.  The answer is that – with only one exception – if you own coins or bullion, they must be physically in the custody of a trustee, which will likely be the custodian of your self-directed retirement account.I hate to burst your bubble on that one, for those of you who like the idea of stashing a lot of gold at your home in the event of a systemic collapse. But there is, as I mentioned, one exception.  The exception is that if your retirement account purchases a specific type of gold coin – American Eagles – then those coins can be held by you personally at your discretion.  So, bottom line:  If you want to use your retirement funds to buy gold and you want to hold that gold in your home safe or otherwise, then you must purchase American Eagles. As an aside, have you ever looked at an American Eagle coin?  Those coins are absolutely stunning, just an absolutely magnificent design. There you have it, folks… the rules for investing in Gold or other precious metals in your retirement account.  I think there absolutely is a place for Gold in the portfolio of most investors, though I prefer other hard assets more, such as real estate.  But Gold certainly has a place.  And if you’re in the market to buy some gold, I do have some suggestions for you concerning a good, reputable source for making those purchases.  Just check out SDIRadio.com/gold for that information. My friends, invest wisely today, and live well forever! You need to:  Know where you're at ...Know where you're going ...Know what's happening today ...Know what's happening in the future  ________________________________________  ECONOMY AND THE KINGS OF THE EASTHOW TO PROSPER IN THE COMING COLLAPSE ECONOMY When the temporary stock market meltdown happened August 24th and 25th, people started to wake up. One man emailed me to say he had agreed with me and sold ALL his stocks before the big loss. God only knows how much money he saved! Reference the following podcasts: The Future and Your Economy – June 13, 2015 Roots of Economic Collapse – June 30, 2015 Not long after my podcasts warning about economic collapse, 2.1 Trillion was deleted in US stocks in 6 days. (That's trillion with a capital “T.”) I want to help you by providing a panoramic view of what is really happening NOW. Most of the pundits on investment shows are only addressing the issue from their viewpoint as financial analysts. However, we are in a different economy NOW. I want to give you an overview from a non-specific―but all encompassing―spectrum including marketing, finance, economic and geopolitical underpinnings. I am NOT a financial advisor; however, I started investing at the age of 20 while in college. Later, I became a day trader in both securities and commodities. I also sold precious metals for a while (gold, silver, platinum and palladium.) Through my years of experience I have learned one thing that stands out: there are cycles!!! This is WHY I invest in God's Work!!! If you own stocks, dump the stocks that are NOT performing. If you are a follower of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah of Israel, you have a right―and an obligation―to know what is happening. My temporary assignment from God is to help you in this regard so that you can plan effectively … and be a good steward. God wants YOU to be protected … and to profit. I am going to share with you key things that are influencing the economy, but at the same time from a prophetic underpinning. “Surely the LORD God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7) CHINA Key financial and market decisions in China are all controlled by a central agency (AKA: the Communist Party). By the way, consult my webpage, Sino Asian Emergence, and you will see that there is a Global Elite (not only in China, of course) and that 83 members of the Chinese Communist National People's Congress (NPC) are Billionaires (that's billionaire with a capital “B”). Of the 18 Tirllion USA debt (mostly chalked up by the Obama government), China probably owns half of it. They are just now beginning to dump their Treasury notes to re-route their holdings in US Dollars. China's products are cheaper than ours. Why would you buy a USA product if you can get it for 50% less (or more) made in China? China has been drawing up the raw materials in the world. China used LOTS of commodities to build “ghost towns” and “bridges to nowhere.” Search online for “China Housing Bubble” or “China Ghost Towns” and you will see proof of the largest housing bubble in history. Empty projects―even empty cities! China's glut of commodity usage has helped some USA labor forces; however, it works in reverse with a “thud” in economic downturn. Like her shrinking copper appetite is killing US jobs. Copper is a KEY indicator of global growth. China built her way up (through cheap goods from cheap labor―lots of labor supplied by Christians in prison for sharing the Gospel) to the second largest economy in the world only to NOW becoming an emerging market (temporarily) in decline. China―to protect itself―recently devalued its currency several times in order to sell more products with cheaper money. Watch and see that others countries will probably follow suit. In the past, China has NOT had a very large influence (even though its economy has grown to second largest in the world) in the IMF (International Monetary Fund). They are NOT happy with this (being controlled by USA and Europe) and have developed their own clone of the IMF in the AIIB (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank). This is actually a “false” move on the part of China to draw attention to her economic stature, and as a “threat” to give her leverage for consideration as a member of the IMF. What China really wants is to be part of the IMF's “SDR” (Special Drawing Rights) basket of currencies with the Yuan being part of it. Today the SDR basket consists of the Euro, Japanese Yen, British Pound Sterling, and U.S. Dollar. The value of the SDR in terms of the U.S. dollar is determined daily and posted on the IMF’s website. It is calculated as the sum of specific amounts of the four basket currencies valued in U.S. dollars, on the basis of exchange rates quoted at noon each day in the London market. MIDDLE EAST In 1973, President Nixon and Henry Kissinger cut a deal with Saudi Arabia. We (the USA) promised military protection for the Saudi's oil fields. In later years, also, this was especially beneficial as when Iraq burned oil fields in Kuwait. As a concession, the Saudis agreed to price its future oil sales in US Dollars only. As a BONUS, the Saudis invested their profits into U.S. Treasurys. It was a three way win, as follows: The Saudis provided LOTS of oil to USA (their favorite customer); The USA protected Saudi Arabia; and, The Saudis “shored up” the US Dollar which had come off the gold standard two years earlier. By 1975, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Venezuela, Qatar, Indonesia, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Nigeria and Ecuador―all the OPEC members―had agreed to the USA “PetroDollar” arrangement. This had a threefold effect: Producing demand for the US Dollar; Raising the value of the US Dollar; and, Provided opportunity for governments and individuals to invest their US Dollars into US Treasuries and earn interest (instead of letting their US Dollars sit idle). But wait … in the early 2,000's―through “fracking” technology developments―the USA was able to produce oil much more cheaply and efficiently. Shale oil production and natural gas reserves inscreased in volume over 100% and 50%, respectively, from 2007 to 2013. In 2013, the USA overtook Russia as the world's leading oil producer … and in 2014 the USA overtook Saudi Arabia as the world's largest producer of crude oil. Russia and Saudi Arabia suffered BIG LOSSES in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The value of the Russian Ruble has dropped 50% and its stockmarket is down one-third since 2011. USA oil imports from Saudi Arabia fell off more than one-third during a four month period in 2014 alone. Lots of the force causing low oil prices was also manipulated by Saudi Arabia (it was NOT market driven) to drive the USA “frackers” out of business. The Saudis have plenty of money and can hold on for longer. October Crude Oil closed on the NYMEX today (Friday, August 28th) at $45.33 (it had been down to $37.75 on Monday, August 24th, a 52 week low. There is a “hidden” danger here, though, for USA “frackers as this price is low enough to put lots of “frackers” out of business. Many are selling off equipment for 10 cents on the dollar. But … good news is that NEW “frackers” whose costs of development may be as low as $20 per barrel will be able to survive. This is BAD NEWS for Saudi Arabia. The Russians and the Saudis are MAD. They want to end the USA PetroDollar and cut off the USA. China wants to work with Russia, also. China is NOW the biggest importer of Saudi crude oil. Even Canada has recently signed a currency aggreement with China where they will do business directly between the Canadian dollar and the Chinese Yuan. ________________________________________ PRINCE HANDLEY PROPHETIC POSTULATE #1 King Salman, the new leader in Saudi Arabia, will align Saudi Arabia with China and Russia―plus Brazil, Venezuela and India―to commence trading oil separately from the US Dollar. It will be the emergence―away from the PetroDollar [USA]―to the PetroYuan [Chinese]. This will bring to an end to 50 years of [USA] PetroDollar trade control. The enemies of the USA have wanted this control to stop for a long time. ________________________________________ KINGS OF THE EAST President Obama's recent deal with Iran was (IMO) the most foolish act of foreign diplomacy ever “sealed” by the USA. It financed global terrorism―and that to one of our chief enemies. It also was a BAD geopolitical decision. The rift between Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims (to which Iran aligns) has been ongoing since the death of Muhamed. The fact that 85 percent of Muslims subscribe to, or align with, the Sunni sect instantly places Obama―and the USA―at even more odds with the majority of Islamic nations and people. Plus, nations like Saudi Arabia that have been ourfriends—not to mention Israel―in alignment against Iran and its sponsorship of the Hizballah―and other―terrorist groups feel betrayed by the USA. In the past, the government of the USA issued a statement: “Iran has been the country that has been in many ways a kind of central banker for terrorism in important regions like Lebanon through Hezbollah in the Middle East, (and) in the Palestinian Territories.” So … what's wrong with this picture of Obama helping Iran produce nukes PLUS giving her money (releasing sanctions) to finance terrorism against us! This is another reason WHY Saudi Arabia (not to mention Jordan and Israel) is ready to cast off from its mooring of trust with the USA … at least with the present administration. In the Holy Bible all direction is from Jerusalem. So … nations to the East are categorically included in the phrase “Kings of the East.” China and any of her future partners in alignment (like the Koreas, Japan, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and other Middle East countries) may all be included in the category: “Kings Of the East.” “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.” (Revelation 16:12) This faction will be a military―and economic―force in the last days and will be drawn into battle during Armageddon against Jerusalem. The reason I mention this is that it will undoubtedly take them several years to form this consortium. However, only seven (7) years will be covered in the Tribulation period (the 70th Week of Daniel). Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that sometime between the entrance to the End Times (which we are in NOW) and the start of the Tribulation, this amalgamation will start to coalesce. The New Silk Road and Great Marine Belt Initiative are giant infrastructure spending projects by China that will finally make sense (not the “ghost towns” and “bridges to nowhere”). They are designed to benefit ALL of Asia. The Silk Road is a program to finance and build trade and transportation ports and railways across Asia. They will link Asia together with China at the hub. China has NOW over three trillion USA Dollars in currency reserves … plus it is the world's largest gold producer. One thing that is clear is that the Kings of the East will NOT be part of the ten (10) regional leaders who align with the anti-Christ (the false Messiah). We know this from the following passage: “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.“ (Revelation 17:12) When John was writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as the Revelation was revealed by Jesus Christ, these ten regional leaders (kings)―or their kingdoms―had NOT existed at or by the time John wrote. However, China, India and Iran (Persia) had. The Kings of the East may be a geopolitical force in opposition to the ten Regional Leaders who align with anti-Christ in the last days. (Even though both factions will be enemies of Israel.) In summary, we see a great geopolitical combine that will be separate from the USA and the West. ________________________________________ PRINCE HANDLEY PROPHETIC POSTULATE #2 The Kings of the East will NOT be part of the Ten Regional Leaders who are aligned with the False Messiah (anti-Christ = The Beast). They may be in economic opposition to his strategy. They will be a geopolitical entity separate from the USA and the West. ________________________________________ ECONOMY The dollar wars have about taken their course. The USA will be the loser in this round. Only a divine MIRACLE will save the USA, and that will be dependent upon IF she decides to align herself with―and support―Israel. Today, a leading cable network had this headline in their “Money” section: “Mom and pop investors are dumping their investments and moving to cash at levels not seen since the financial crisis of 2008.” ________________________________________ PRINCE HANDLEY PROPHETIC POSTULATE #3 WARNING: The next subprime debacle in the USA will be in the sector of new automobile financing. It will not have the dollar volume as the housing industry, but will result in many defaults. Do NOT take out a loan for over 36 months. ________________________________________ In my podcast teaching June 30th, 2015, “Roots of Economic Collapse,” I gave suggestions as to what to do in this economy. If you have not read the shownotes of the podcast―or, if you have NOT done what I suggested―go back and read. I have provided suggestions for BOTH inflation AND deflation. SUGGESTION: Read prayerfully Ecclesiastes Chapter 11. Cast your bread upon the waters,For you will find it after many days.Give a serving to seven, and also to eight,For you do not know what evil will be on the earth. (Verses 1 and 2) He who observes the wind will not sow,And he who regards the clouds will not reap. (Verse 4) I used to visit my grandfather and my uncle on their farm. They sowed no matter what the weather looked like … and they always reaped nice abundant crops! My advice to YOU in the coming economic collapse is: “In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.”(Verse 6) ________________________________________  PRINCE HANDLEY PROPHETIC POSTULATE #4 SOW INTO GOD'S WORK FOR ECONOMIC MIRACLES  ABOVE YOUR TITHE AND OUT OF YOUR HEART IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY, THEN PLEDGE GOD WILL HELP BRING YOU MIRACLES  ________________________________________  OPPORTUNITY  One way to evangelize is by working with God ... helping reach people with the Good News!Your donations to Handley WORLD SERVICES Incorporated help us reach nations. All of our projects of outreach are FREE and are financed by our donors.Use the SECURE DONATE button below to help us do God's Work.  A TAX DEDUCTIBLE RECEIPT WILL BE SENT TO YOU My friend, let me ask you the most imporant question of your life: If you were to die right now, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven?
