What happened to the old world? In JT's Mix Tape Episode 95, JT, Bryan and Aaron go down one of the wildest rabbit holes yet — from the millions of skeletons buried beneath Paris and strange population numbers to destroyed architecture, underground cities, ancient technology and the possibility that our accepted historical timeline is missing something enormous. Then things get even stranger. We get into Tesla “ghosts” appearing in graveyards, Tucker Carlson questioning the destruction of America's beautiful old architecture, Larry Ellison and Oracle appearing in Iron Man 2, frightening advances in technology, AI spirituality, transhumanism, technocratic visions for humanity — and the growing trend of billionaires and celebrities building elaborate underground bunkers. Is technology creating a completely new future?Or, as Ecclesiastes says, is there truly nothing new under the sun?Either way, fear is not the answer. Hold fast to Christ and endure to the end.
Michael Antonovich interviews the top riders from five motos Saturday at the Ironman Motocross in Indiana. Hunter Lawrence, Lachlan Turner and Cole Davies hoisted the No. 1 trophies in their respective divisions. Antonovich got the chance to speak to the top finishers, including Julien Beaumer, Jorge Prado and others. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay reveal shows the enormous scale of Leonida, including reports of an 80-hour playthrough and a map roughly three times the playable size of Red Dead Redemption 2. We also debate GTA VI's potential 30 FPS target and whether Rockstar gets more leeway than other developers. Microsoft's next generation comes into focus as Xbox details its new disc-to-digital entitlement program and Project Helix is described as a “family of devices.” We break down what that could mean for physical games, Xbox Play Anywhere, future consoles, the $899 Xbox Series X25, the ROG Xbox Ally X20, and rapidly rising gaming hardware prices. In episode 387 of The Physical Performance Show, host Tim Studley picks up part two of his conversation with fellow Pogo Physio physiotherapist Lewis Craig, continuing last week's deep dive into surf life saving and Ironman racing. This episode shifts focus from injury patterns to managing niggles, optimising performance, and the habits that separate top-tier surf ironman athletes from the rest. Tim and Lewis discuss the collaborative decision-making involved in managing a recurring niggle, the key training and screening recommendations every surf life saving athlete should have in place, the lessons Lewis has learned working with elite athletes in the sport, and his top tips for improving performance — from sand-specific training to fuelling properly for a demanding training load. Meredith Cook grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, one of four kids in a small house with two working parents. She was later diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, which made traditional school a struggle, so she skipped college and trained as an esthetician instead — working odd jobs on the side, including driving medical specimens between cities at night for quick cash. She spent nearly a decade working under a Charlotte dermatologist after literally walking office to office asking to work for free just to learn. After her second son was born, she felt a disconnect she couldn't explain — not herself, foggy, disconnected from her kids and the people around her. She pushed through it quietly for years, assuming it was just what motherhood felt like. The turning point came when her brother, training for an Ironman in Wilmington, started experimenting with hemp and CBD for his own recovery and encouraged her to try it. Her husband bought everything on the shelf at the local health food store. The fog lifted — but so did her trust in what she was actually putting in her body, once she realized the hemp industry at the time had zero transparency or testing standards. Her husband's connections in agriculture led her to a friend growing USDA organic hemp through a pilot program. She started taking their clean product, felt like herself again, and started sharing it with her mom, her mother-in-law, and friends — watching a business snowball entirely from word of mouth. In 2019, she officially launched Green Compass with her brother and husband, built on a referral-based model where the people sharing the product were the same people who'd felt it change their lives. It grew to $50 million in revenue in two years, almost entirely without paid marketing or PR. When that channel began to shift industry-wide, Meredith resisted changing course longer than she probably should have — she was emotionally invested in the community that built the brand. Eventually, alongside customer surveys and community input, Green Compass transitioned to a DTC model, now generating roughly 80% of revenue from recurring subscriptions, with a growing lineup that includes Core Bloom, a broccoli sprout and mushroom blend, and more product innovation on the way. Tyler went to a fun event in the Bay Area called Demo Day. It’s all about letting people experience different types of vehicles and accessories. Tyler wanted to see what they had planned for the offroading segment, and he was very disappointed. Jimmy went camping with the family and the Mom’s Co friends. Listener Q&A, covering nine different questions/topics from building bike power as a runner and a collegiate swimmer moving back into triathlon, through what actually makes us fatigue during a threshold effort, to swimskins, power duration curves and lots more. We do listener Q&As monthly, the last Thursday every month. HIGHLIGHTS AND KEY TOPICS: Building the bike as a runner: why heart rate sits lower on the bike than on the run, whether that gap matters, and what it says about where the limiter is. Plus how to use a daily 20 km ride towing a 25 kg dog trailer. A 193 cm, 100 kg collegiate swimmer moving back into triathlon: the engine-stronger-than-the-chassis problem, a run progression specified down to the minute, and why Mikael gets more conservative every time he coaches this profile. Why the maximal lactate steady state is a steady state for lactate and not for the whole body, what keeps drifting while lactate holds flat, and what one study found when it looked for the system that fails at exhaustion. How long you can actually hold MLSS, against the 40 minutes the question assumed, how much that varies between athletes, and where critical power sits relative to it. Swimskins: whether they give you any of the buoyancy a wetsuit does, the performance, drag and energy cost numbers from the closest pool research, and the thing that matters more than the brand and price tag. Whether a swimskin does more for a fast swimmer or a slow one. Reading your own power duration curve with nobody to compare against: the TrainingPeaks chart to start from, why a flat profile means something different for a triathlete than a cyclist, and Strava as a stand-in database. Mikael's W' bands for male and female age group triathletes, on record for the first time, plus the critical power ratio from close to a hundred of his own athletes' tests. Quickfire round on altitude, heat and the CORE sensor, run volume by intensity, and vegan nutrition. Tony Medrano is the CEO and Co-Founder of LongevityPlan.AI, a platform that uses AI, lab results, genetic testing, biomarkers, health records, and wearable data to help personalize longevity and peptide plans. His interest in health optimization began after accepting a challenge to complete an Ironman with only 90 days to prepare. Six weeks before the race, he was hit by a car and separated his shoulder—but still finished the race with one functioning arm. In this episode of DGTL Voices, Tony tells Ed how that experience shaped his approach to experimentation, why executives need to manage their health as intentionally as they manage their businesses, and how AI could make longevity strategies more personal, practical, and data-driven. https://bio.marxadvisory.com/
In this episode, 10-time CrossFit Games champion Thomas Miazga joins Doug Larson, Coach Travis Mash, and Dr. Mike Lane to share the extraordinary path that took him from a childhood shaped by cerebral palsy to the Paralympic Games, elite adaptive CrossFit competition, and beyond. Tom reflects on discovering freedom and athletic identity in the water, qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Paralympics just 18 months after returning to competitive swimming, and how a devastatingly close miss for the London Games eventually led him toward coaching, CrossFit, and a new definition of what was possible. The crew also digs into the practical side of training an adaptive athlete: building strength around the individual, managing high upper-body training volume, using stable equipment to create safe loading opportunities, and prioritizing training economy over unnecessary technical complexity. Tom explains how CrossFit transformed his independence in daily life, helped him become a 10-time Games champion, and continues to fuel his pursuit of HYROX, Ironman racing, and long-term health. Most importantly, this is a conversation about refusing to let a diagnosis, a scoreboard, or someone else's expectations define your potential.

IRONMAN Master Coach Matt Dixon interviews Panos Kakoullis, a long-time Purple Patch athlete, at the Hawaii IRONMAN training camp. From Boardroom to Finish Line Panos Kakoullis on Balancing High-Stakes Leadership with Elite-Level Endurance Performance. Panos shares his Greek Cypriot background, growing up above a fish and chip shop, and his journey from becoming an accountant, later Senior Partner at Deloitte to CFO at Rolls Royce. He discusses his transition from powerlifting to endurance sports, influenced by his wife, and his 16 IRONMAN completions. Panos emphasizes the importance of consistency, recovery, and integrating sport into life. He highlights the role of curiosity, growth mindset, and releasing mental weight in his success. Looking ahead, he plans more marathons and a cycling trip across Italy. Panos reflects on the challenges and successes in his professional life, including the importance of integrating sport into his busy schedule. Panos recounts how he and his wife decided to do a marathon and then a triathlon, despite initially swearing never to do an IRONMAN. He emphasizes the importance of consistency over heroism and the need to prioritize recovery and nutrition. Matt and Panos wrap up the conversation, with Matt expressing his admiration for Panos' journey and achievements
You're a contractor, you're busy, and you're tired of LinkedIn consultants telling you that you'll be left behind if you don't embrace AI right now. Smart move to tune out the hype — but here's the catch: while you're waiting for the noise to die down, a few of your competitors are quietly using these tools to save hours every week. Not on flashy stuff. On the boring stuff. Meeting minutes, SOPs, pulling scope language out of a 200-page addendum. Dimitri Sidiropoulos is the Vice President of Delphi Plumbing and Heating, a heavy mechanical self-performing public works contractor in New York City. He's not a tech bro — he's a working contractor who decided to actually try ChatGPT for a year inside his construction company. In this conversation, Eric and Dimitri get into what works, what doesn't, where it saves him hours, where the proposal bot he tried to build had to be abandoned, and where that last 20% will nail you if you're not paying attention. If you've been waiting for someone to give you a no-hype, on-the-ground answer to "should I actually be using ChatGPT?" — grab a notepad. This is the conversation. What you'll learn: Why the first move with AI isn't asking it to do work — it's letting it interview you How Dimitri spent three days in back-and-forth with ChatGPT to give it real context about his business The "Jarvis to Iron Man" framework: AI enhances the operator, it doesn't replace the brain Where ChatGPT shines: meeting minutes, SOPs, pulling scope from addenda, three/five/ten-year strategic planning Where it falls down: custom proposal bots, takeoffs of pipe and fittings, anything that depends on means and methods Why "80% of the way there in five minutes" beats "80% of the way there in a day and a half" How to ask AI for its sources so you can spot hallucinations early Why writing emails with AI can hurt the relationships you've built The first move on Monday morning if you're an AI-skeptic contractor Connect with Dimitri Delphi Plumbing & Heating: www.delphiph.com Dimitri on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/dimitri-sidiropoulos-b4485190 Delphi on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/company/delphiph
Jimmy and Tyler dig into a stack of public lands updates in this week’s Monday episode — the kind of episode where you walk away actually understanding the legal mechanics behind the headlines, instead of just reacting to them. The Roadless Rule kicks things off, and it’s more interesting than it sounds. Roads through national forest and BLM land aren’t just recreation access — they’re wildfire infrastructure. Jimmy and Tyler talk through the Caldor Fire, where popular Sierra OHV routes served as fire lines and ingress for hotshot crews, and the broader ecological argument that decades of total fire suppression (no controlled burns, no small fires clearing brush) is exactly why mega-fires have gotten so much worse. The Roadless Rule — which has blocked any new road construction and forced a steady decline in usable routes — is now being reconsidered, with agencies reviewing historical road inventories to determine what could reopen for fire management purposes. It’s currently open for public comment, and Blue Ribbon Coalition has a tool on their site that maps your zip code to your legislators for submitting comments directly. Make a public comment on the Roadless Rule: https://blueribboncoalition.org/roadless-rule-draft-eis-comment/ From there: an update on the Big Bend National Park border wall project in Texas — over $7 billion across five sections, built with no-bid contracts, cutting a new road directly next to an existing one, and initially bypassing NEPA environmental review and public comment entirely. The good news: sustained public pressure has forced a pause on construction while it undergoes review. Also covered: why picking up a rock on public land is technically a federal offense (it’s classified as mining), the ongoing accessibility angle of road closures for wheelchair users and other visitors who can’t hike miles in on foot, and the California OHV permit saga — a coalition-negotiated agreement that got rewritten by the legislative committee and failed its vote, leaving the whole permit effort dead for now. The back half covers two related legal patterns worth knowing: newly released Yellowstone grizzly bear studies show OHV use has never caused a single recorded grizzly death — despite that exact justification being used to close routes — and Jimmy and Tyler connect the dots to the nearly identical legal language used to justify closures at Oceano Dunes (snowy plover), the Western Mojave (desert tortoise), and now the Oregon Dunes (western marmot), in each case without a definitive study proving OHV is actually the cause of death. Then a full breakdown of Wilderness Study Areas — land that’s been managed as de facto wilderness for decades without ever being formally designated, with no legal deadline forcing a decision either way — and Blue Ribbon Coalition’s push to get courts to force a timeline. Episode #1178 If you want a stronger relationship, take an honest look at your calendar. In this episode of The TPM Show, Tim Matthews and Lawrence Davis explore a simple but revealing question: Do your inputs match the relationship you want to have? Many men hope for more intimacy, deeper connection, and a stronger marriage, yet the way they spend their time often tells a different story. Using the analogy of training for an Ironman, Tim explains why expecting a thriving relationship without consistently investing in it is like expecting to finish a race you never prepared for. Together, he and Lawrence unpack the difference between being physically close and being truly present, showing why quality connection is built through intentional habits rather than occasional grand gestures. The conversation introduces practical frameworks for auditing your calendar, identifying where your time is actually going, and creating more meaningful moments with your partner. They also break down the three types of quality time every relationship needs, the Quality Time Pyramid, and the CHOSEN framework to help men become more intentional, emotionally present, and consistent in how they show up. Whether your relationship feels disconnected or you're simply looking to strengthen an already healthy marriage, this episode offers practical tools you can begin applying immediately. In episode 386 of The Physical Performance Show, host Tim Studley sits down with fellow Pogo Physio physiotherapist Lewis Craig to explore the world of surf life saving and Ironman racing — a sport many listeners may be unfamiliar with, but one that shares a huge amount in common with traditional triathlon and endurance sport. Tim and Lewis unpack what a typical training week looks like for a semi-professional surf ironman/ironwoman athlete, the most common injuries seen across swimming, ski paddling, board paddling and soft sand running, the disproportionate impact running-based injuries can have on an athlete's ability to race, and why energy availability, sleep and recovery are just as critical in this sport as they are in any other high-volume endurance discipline. SHOW SPONSORS:
Ruth Astle has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid, after years of searching for answers through countless tests and specialist appointments. It's a significant moment for an athlete who has spent too long being told everything looked normal. Jelle Geens has shelved his Kona ambitions to chase an unprecedented third consecutive 70.3 World Championship title in Nice, something no man has ever done. We discuss what that decision means and whether he can do it. Ironman Leeds had its swim cancelled due to a blue-green algae bloom in Waterloo Lake, with athletes racing a duathlon instead. It's the latest in a growing pattern of swim cancellations driven by extreme heat. Cassandre Beaugrand continues to rewrite what a triathlete can be. We look at her new approach since relocating to Girona, how competitive athletics is feeding back into her triathlon, and what it means for her dominance heading into the rest of the season. At Ironman 70.3 Northern California, the Long versus Sanders rivalry took another twist as both were beaten by Jason West, with Grace Alexander dominant in the women's race. Laura Philipp sends an ominous Kona warning with a course record at Ironman Kalmar, while Jonas Schomburg takes a dominant men's win in his first ever Ironman victory, completing the Kona qualification picture. Julie Derron returns to winning ways at T100 Vancouver, chasing down Kate Waugh to take the victory, with Georgia Taylor-Brown third and Paula Findlay fourth. Mikael and Jack Hutchens each bring up four things they do in their coaching practice that the research does not support, or does not support in the form they use it. What the evidence says, what they do instead, and the reasoning they would defend it with. HIGHLIGHTS AND KEY TOPICS: Tapering: Mikael prescribes 7 to 10 day tapers where the literature converges on two to three weeks, with a smaller volume cut than the meta-analyses land on. Why he thinks the study populations do not transfer. Torque training: Jack keeps low cadence work in every program despite a review finding no strong evidence it improves performance. His specificity case, and Mikael's rationale from the cadence drop late in an Ironman bike. Electrolytes: why Mikael prescribes them liberally while accepting the evidence is thin, the one athlete variable no study has controlled for, and the profile that really does not need them. Grey zone intervals: polarised training wins the short intervention studies, so why does Jack lean on the zone in between? The time horizon argument, and Mikael's three week VO2max block that stopped working after two. Heat training: ten sessions over two weeks for acclimation, five weeks of five for haemoglobin mass, against Mikael's minimal effective dose. Jack's pushback: does half a protocol buy half the adaptation? Strength training: where it sits in Jack's list of levers when time is fixed, who he does prioritise it for, and Mikael's rules on frequency, session length and the weekly hours threshold to bother at all. Sprint interval training: the protocol with a decent evidence base that Mikael almost never prescribes, what goes in that slot instead, and the cycling study published five days before recording that he never expected to see. Psychology: why Jack spends more coaching time on self-talk, goal setting and confidence than the evidence warrants, and Mikael's theory for why it looks so weak in group studies. Welcome to Missouri, where the booze is conveniently located, the dispensaries are plentiful, and buying a car on Sunday is apparently where society decided to establish some boundaries.Episode 41 kicks off with Rizz and Moon embracing their new identities as BMW owners ahead of a BMW-sponsored golf tournament. Surely the logo on the hood counts as a parking credential, right? Lern attempts to explain concepts like “parking passes” and “hang tags,” but luxury has changed these men. They've seen the badge. They know what they're worth now. From there, this comedy podcast investigates what outsiders notice when they first arrive in Missouri. Is it the rolling green landscape? The hills? The beautiful scenery? Nope. It's the ability to walk into a grocery store and buy hard liquor like a civilized Midwesterner.A woman new to Missouri is stunned by the accessibility of alcohol and recreational weed, which sends the crew down a rabbit hole of grocery-store liquor laws across America. Apparently some states still make you visit a separate store to purchase booze. We assume residents there spend their evenings staring sadly toward Missouri and wondering where freedom went wrong. But Missouri has its limits. You can buy liquor. You can visit a dispensary. You can apparently grab a tall boy at a gas station with concerning ease. But if you want to purchase a car on Sunday? Absolutely not, you lawless animal. The discovery of Missouri's “blue law” leads to another revelation: Lern and Rafe enjoy wandering dealership lots on Sundays specifically because the salespeople aren't there. Rizz finds this behavior completely alien because, according to Rizz, he loves human interaction. Moon immediately requests that the program stop lying to its audience. Then it's time for workplace rage.A leaked video of former Detroit news anchor Taryn Asher berating a colleague launches a debate over losing your temper at work, professionalism, double standards and whether one meltdown should define somebody's career. Naturally, this means revisiting some of broadcasting and Hollywood's most legendary freak-outs.Chris Berman gets angry. Christian Bale goes nuclear. Bill O'Reilly encounters the phrase “to play us out” and briefly enters another dimension. The crew debates whether these blowups are understandable high-pressure moments or just adults being terrible to coworkers. Lern also shares her own battles against studio technology, proving once again that the greatest threat to morning radio isn't declining attention spans—it's a computer deciding at 5 a.m. that today feels like a good day to die. Then Crap on Celebrities arrives with some genuinely sad rock news: longtime ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard has died at 77. The crew looks back at the band's massive career, their unmistakable Texas blues-rock sound, their MTV-era reinvention and the scientific fact that putting on a ZZ Top song makes you approximately 34% more likely to feel capable of winning a bar fight. It also raises an important question nobody else was brave enough to investigate: Has anyone ever seen ZZ Top wearing shorts? The comedy podcast rolls deeper into entertainment chaos with Nick Jonas revealing that he completely bombed his audition for Frozen after arriving unprepared, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan expanding his Arizona empire with a sushi restaurant and apparently carrying the same pair of traveling chopsticks for decades, updates surrounding Tupac's murder trial, new Queens of the Stone Age music, and the planned return of Ozzfest. The celebrity pile continues with Robin Williams' children fighting AI-generated impersonations of their father and reactivating his official Instagram account as a source for authentic material. The crew also looks ahead to Dune: Part Three sharing a release weekend with Avengers: Doomsday, because movie theaters apparently decided December needed its own traffic apocalypse.David Krumholtz says he's stepping away from acting after more than 30 years in Hollywood, which leads everyone into the great “I know that guy!” exercise before the conversation turns toward the tiny club of movies that have crossed $1 billion worldwide. That becomes a game of guessing the biggest box-office monsters before pivoting into actors whose careers were revived by one huge role: John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man, Keanu Reeves in John Wick, Brendan Fraser in The Whale, Bruce Willis in Die Hard and more.By the end, we've covered BMW privilege, Missouri liquor laws, empty car dealerships, workplace tantrums, ZZ Top, celebrity news, AI, Dune, billion-dollar movies and celebrity birthdays. And just when you think the show has reached the absolute peak of intellectual discourse, Rizz teases what's coming next:A school has a fart corner.Education is healing.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

What if the limitations you face aren't the end of your story—but an invitation to discover what God can do through you? What do you do when the challenges in your life feel bigger than your ability to overcome them? Kyle Pease knows what it is like to face limitations every day. Born with cerebral palsy, Kyle relies on caregivers for many of the ordinary tasks most people do without thinking. But instead of allowing those limitations to define what is possible, Kyle has spent his life challenging expectations—and encouraging others to do the same.Kyle is a two-time Ironman World Championship triathlete, disability advocate, and Chief Inspirational Officer of the Kyle Pease Foundation, which he co-founded with his brother Brett. But one of the biggest transformations in Kyle's life came when he became a follower of Jesus in 2013. He shares how discovering God's love changed the way he faced life's challenges and gave him someone to lean on when life felt hard.In this conversation, Kyle talks honestly about asking for help, living with visible limitations, dealing with dark days, and learning to rely on God. He also shares the journey that led him to complete an Ironman alongside his brother and how that experience became the foundation for helping others with disabilities discover what they are capable of.If you're facing a goal that feels impossible, struggling with anxiety or discouragement, or wondering whether your limitations will always hold you back, Kyle's story will challenge you to take the next step. You may not know exactly how you'll reach the finish line, but you can trust God to meet you along the way.Meet Kyle PeaseKyle Pease is a two-time Ironman World Championship triathlete, disability advocate, and the Chief Inspirational Officer of the Kyle Pease Foundation. Born with cerebral palsy, Kyle has spent his life redefining what's possible and advocating for people with disabilities.Kyle became a follower of Jesus in 2013, and his faith has become central to the way he approaches life's challenges. Alongside his brother, Brett, he co-founded the Kyle Pease Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities through sports and beyond. Through his story, athletics, advocacy, and faith, Kyle encourages people to see beyond limitations and discover what is possible when they take the next step.Key TakeawaysWhen your limitations feel defining:Learn to see yourself as more than the challenges people can see on the outside. When asking for help feels uncomfortable:Discover how vulnerability, humility, and allowing others to carry your burdens can strengthen your faith. When you want to give up:Remember that you don't have to finish the whole race today—just take the next step with God.When life feels impossible:Release the pressure you're carrying and invite God into your goals, struggles, and dreams. When you feel discouraged or stuck:Be reminded that every new day is a gift and an opportunity to see what God can do through your life. How This Episode Will Encourage YouWhatever impossible thing you're facing, you don't have to face it alone. Take the next step, ask God for what you need, and trust Him to meet you there—because your limitations do not have the final word.If Kyle's story encouraged you, subscribe to the Collide Podcast and share this episode with someone who feels stuck, discouraged, or limited by the circumstances they're facing. The plan hasn’t been enforced yet — that’s the only reason anyone’s still walking around out there without a permit. Once it is, over 775,000 acres go non-motorized and non-mechanized, permanently, with no path to ever reopen them. Mountain bikes included. Motorized groups get capped at 24 vehicles per route per day before you need a federal permit. Hunters can’t retrieve game or gather firewood off the road by any mechanized means. Hikers can get locked to designated trails only, dispersed camping gets restricted to numbered sites, dogs need to be leashed everywhere, and rock climbers can’t place a new bolt without commission approval. One sentence in the plan — Paragraph 14 — is written broadly enough to prohibit basically anything not yet invented that someone decides is “inconsistent” with protecting the monument. We also get into the two-tier trick land management plans use to delay the real fight: the big decisions get locked in years before anyone announces them, so by the time you actually feel the restriction, it’s framed as “just following the existing plan” instead of a new decision anyone has to defend. And we cover the same legal playbook now showing up at Oregon Dunes, after already being used to shrink Oceano Dunes by up to 80%. If you care about keeping public land open — hiking, biking, wheeling, hunting, camping, all of it — this is the episode to actually understand what’s at stake instead of just reacting to a headline.
Fresh off her personal-best performance at IRONMAN 70.3 Elsinore, Emma Weiss joins Andrew alongside her coach, Katrine Trolle, to recap the race and the journey that led her there. Emma shares how consistent training, race-day experience, and mental strength came together for a breakthrough performance, while Katrine explains the role she played in Emma's development and preparation. Katrine also shares stories from Emma's progression and how TriDot's adaptive, data-driven training helped keep her prepared and ready to perform when race day arrived. This is a great look at what happens when the right training, a strong coach-athlete relationship, and a determined athlete come together.
