Novelist, curator, humanitarian, conscious business leader and modern mystic Renee Blodgett has lived multiple lives in one. Having traveled around the world, she has plenty of stories, from riding elephants in the Indian jungle and photographing polar bears in northern Canada to teaching English in Kenya, exploring glaciers in Iceland and selling kilims in Turkey. She has lived in eleven countries, including South Africa during Apartheid and the Gaza Strip.  Her multicultural background and years of experience as a communications strategist have led to a career of uplifting others through content, speaking, coaching and leading. Known as a master of storytelling, she has written for several magazines and networks and her own award-winning online travel magazine, We Blog the World, which reaches over half a million globally.   Renee has launched award-winning campaigns for start-ups and Fortune 500 brands for nearly thirty years and has appeared as a spokesperson on major network broadcast stations and global business media. Renee has worked with celebrities, actors, Grammy Award musicians and renowned technology entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, Europe, Australia and Asia.    Feeling that soul was missing from the industry, she launched Blue Soul Media, which serves as a bridge between Spirit and Business. Today, she helps women step into their authentic voices and embrace a life that aligns with their soul's calling. Additionally, she teaches about consciousness with her partner and they lead retreats and membership programs focusing on heart-centered living, universal consciousness, masculine and feminine balance, and the connection to our human existence's inherent beauty and power.  Their bestselling book Magdalene's Journey encourages people to rethink our patriarchal-dictated history through the eyes of a pivotal woman. She feels that our traditional conditioning in the West, especially through Abrahamic religions, has led to women feeling shame around sex, their bodies and sensuality and, as a result, a loss of empowerment.  She is also the host of her own podcast Blue Soul CHATS podcast  and the Blue Soul Summit video series, where she has interviewed nearly a hundred visionaries. Renee also launched the Magdalene Collection, a jewelry line dedicated to women's voices and unsung stories. Each piece is connected to one of nine archetypes we can all access at any time as a pathway to empowerment, rising above trauma and inner joy.   Links to Offerings: ·      Websites: www.bluesoulearth.com and www.bluesoulmedia.com ·      Book Website: www.magdalenesjourney.com ·      Jewelry Line website: www.themagdalenecollection.com ·      Blue Soul CHATS Podcast: Blue Soul CHATS podcast  ·      Blue Soul Summit video series: www.bluesoulsummit.com ·      Blue Soul Earth on Instagram: www.instagram.com/bluesoulearth ·      Magdalene's Journey on Instagram: www.instagram.com/magdalenesjourney ·      Magdalene Collection on Instagram: www.instagram.com/magdalenecollection ·      We Blog the World (travel magazine): www.weblogtheworld.com ·      Study with Spirit: Courses & Meditations: www.studywithspirit.com Santa Cruz! Welcome back, connected parents! In this heartfelt episode of Connected Parenting, we're diving into one of the most emotionally challenging moments many parents face; the shift that happens when your child starts to pull away and step into the world of adolescence. I take a close look at this transition, especially between mothers and daughters, when the once chatty, affectionate little girl becomes more withdrawn, independent, and focused on her peers. For many parents, this change feels like a form of grief—there's a sadness, a sense of being left behind, and a deep questioning of where they now fit in their child's life.Full of empathy and grounded in practical advice, this episode offers strategies to stay close, even as the relationship begins to change. Whether you're in the thick of it or seeing the early signs, today's episode will help you navigate this season of change with compassion and clarity.Remember just because it feels different doesn't mean you're losing your child. You're simply being invited to show up for them in a new way.Jennifer's Takeaways:Understanding the Transition to Teenagehood (00:00)Biological and Cultural Context of Adolescence (02:21)Emotional Impact on Parents and Teenagers (06:23)Navigating Social Interactions and Connections (07:20)Effective Communication and Connection Techniques (15:40)Managing Expectations and Emotional Resilience (15:56)Meet Jennifer KolariJennifer Kolari is the host of the “Connected Parenting” weekly podcast and the co-host of “The Mental Health Comedy” podcast. CARTEL OBSERVATION POSTS DESTROYED ON USA/MEX BORDER.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE------International Events-Mexico: Earlier this week a mass grave and Cartel corpse processing center was discovered at an abandoned ranch roughly 40 miles west of Guadalajara. The discovery was made by local private citizens attempting to find the bodies of known Cartel victims, and this site had been known to serve in a variety of roles over the years by members of the CJNG Cartel.AC: This site is not a new revelation; a hostage recovery operation was conducted at this exact compound last year. This ranch was formerly used as a hitman training site, but over the years was relegated to serving as an extermination camp. As this was a well known site, there was some speculation that the compound had probably been used as burial site as well. Because local authorities were not interested in investigating this, a small group of local citizens gained access to the compound to search for human remains, of which many were found. Local authorities (which have now been forced to acknowledge the site), have urged local citizens to help identify the clothing found in six mass graves found at the site. Due to the high-profile nature of this discovery, civil unrest has been reported throughout several cities in Mexico, as citizens express dissatisfaction with the Cartels engaging in this kind of brutality on an industrial scale.-HomeFront-Arizona: Two Cartel-affiliated Observation Posts were destroyed yesterday morning. The first OP was located west of Ajo, and the second was located near Nogales.Washington D.C. - Scandal has emerged surrounding a post made by former FBI Director James Comey, in which he posted a photo on Instagram that contained a threatening reference commonly used as a coded incitement of violence against President Trump. Comey posted a photo containing the numbers "8647", which has become a term very commonly used by malign actors in the United States to express their desire to "86" (or dispose of) the 47th President, Donald Trump. James Comey has since removed the post and stated that he did not know what it meant.USA: Another major scandal has emerged regarding a major cryptocurrency exchange failing to protect customer data. A few days ago Coinbase (arguably the biggest crypto exchange in the world) announced that they had been hacked. The hackers claimed to have accessed most private customer data on the site, and have demanded $20 million as a ransom for not posting this information on the internet.-----END TEARLINE-----Analyst Comments: This morning, statements from Coinbase and the CEO have shed light on what really happened...and it doesn't look good. In short, Coinbase outsourced their customer support services to the Third World. As it turns out, when you hire employees from an impoverished nation and pay them peanuts while giving them unchecked access to private customer information...they might be inclined to accept a bribe to leak that data. Right now, this appears to be what happened. American politicians are also not entirely off the hook for this scandal either. The reason that there is so much data to steal in the first place is due to KYC or "Know Your Customer" laws that make privacy illegal. Many people who are not involved in the world of cryptocurrency do not know that it's not an anonymous experience by any means...buying and selling crypto is the hard part since 100% of crypto exchanges based in the United States and Europe have to abide by KYC laws that force customers to hand over their drivers license, bank account numbers, social security number, home address, IRS tax information, a series of selfie photos or a 3d scan of a person's head...pretty much all of t

In this episode of RevOps Champions, Brendon Dennewill sits down with Torben Rytt, a leader well-known for his success at Siteimprove and now as the founder of Gainbox. Torben brings a unique background, having moved from Europe to Minneapolis driven by both personal and professional opportunities. With deep roots in building and scaling data-driven businesses, Torben's journey reflects his ongoing commitment to leveraging technology, curiosity, and ownership as core tenets of leadership. The discussion centers around the pivotal role of data in driving organizational growth and effective sales strategies. Torben explains how, at Siteimprove, deliberate data collection and operationalization made a significant difference, allowing his teams to continually refine their approach and set themselves apart from competitors. Both speakers underscore the importance of not just amassing data, but actually using it to inform decisions, shape company culture, and define ideal customer profiles (ICP). Torben shares how curiosity pushed his teams to seek out unique data points and patterns, going beyond industry basics to truly understand why some customers thrive while others churn. As the conversation evolves, Torben outlines how emerging technologies like AI are transforming CRM and sales operations. He describes Gainbox as the toolset he wishes he had earlier in his career—a scalable, AI-powered platform for uncovering actionable data signals and keeping CRMs efficient and up-to-date. The episode wraps up with advice for RevOps leaders: remain open to experimentation, make bold leadership decisions rooted in company values, and focus on intelligent, targeted outreach rather than generic, high-volume tactics. The result is a refreshingly practical perspective on preparing businesses for the next wave of technological innovation in revenue operations.Find more at revopschampions.com

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions and operating a Global Delivery Centre out of Letterkenny in Co. Donegal, Ireland, has been ranked among the 100 most valuable brands worldwide in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2025 Report. In a special 20th edition ceremony held in New York by Kantar, TCS was accorded a brand value of $57.3 billion with an accelerated 28% year-on-year growth. TCS now ranks #45 globally, in a list that includes the world's most prominent brands across industry sectors. This year's growth marks a sharp acceleration in brand equity, favourability and awareness. In a separate independent brand audit carried out by Momentum-ITSMA, TCS demonstrated 95% aided brand awareness with business executives across 26 countries worldwide, up exponentially from 29% which the same audit polled in 2010. This growth in brand value and equity highlights TCS' sustained brand building efforts, including high-impact global sports partnerships, customer-centric innovation, and consistent marketing excellence. Martin Guerrieria, Head of Kantar BrandZ, said, "By drawing on the depth of BrandZ's database over the last quarter of a century, our insights show that with the right level of investment and strategic focus, brands have huge potential to drive growth for their owners. TCS' performance this year demonstrates its ability to innovate at scale with AI capabilities now running through its portfolios. TCS' strategic sponsorship programmes continue to build a strong global presence and community around its brand." TCS' rise in brand value is rooted in its long-term commitment to humanizing technology through experiences that inspire, innovations that transform, and relationships that go the distance. At the centre of this momentum is TCS' sponsorship of 14 global running events, including five of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors such as the TCS New York City Marathon, TCS London Marathon, and TCS Sydney Marathon. These events engage over 600,000 runners annually and contributed $2.25 billion to local economies in 2024, raising $279 million for charitable causes. The TCS brand also demonstrated a 30-point uplift in brand familiarity and 40-point uplift in brand consideration, the highest improvement amongst all the key sponsors of the sport. Abhinav Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer, TCS, said, "For 20 years Kantar BrandZ has recognised the world's most valuable brands. We congratulate them on this special anniversary edition of their brand excellence platform. Alongside the brand leadership we have in our industry, we are very pleased to see this recognition of the TCS brand amongst the world's most iconic brands across industries. This growth in brand value, awareness and equity has been built on a range of high-impact long term marketing and communications programmes. Building a brand is indeed a marathon, yet I would like to thank all my colleagues in TCS for doing this long run, at the scorching pace of a sprint. Kudos to all of them." From creating the first-ever digital twin heart of a pro-runner to deploying Agentic AI systems that can autonomously reason and act across complex business contexts, TCS continues to shape the future of enterprises and consumer experiences. The company's partnership with Jaguar through the Jaguar TCS Racing Team that competes in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship positions TCS at the intersection of intelligent engineering and sustainable innovation, highlighting the brand's commitment to next-generation experiences that resonate with communities. TCS also continues to be recognized for its strong client partnerships and employer brand. In 2025, TCS was ranked the #1 IT service provider in Europe for customer satisfaction by Whitelane Research. TCS was named a Global Top Employer across more than 30 countries and regions, including North America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America, by the Top...

Ireland continues to participate in the #PlantHealth4Life campaign, a European campaign to raise awareness of the critical role plant health plays in protecting food, biodiversity, and the environment. Now in its third year, the #PlantHealth4Life campaign returns with renewed focus on citizen empowerment, encouraging people across Europe including gardeners, travellers, and families - to become active plant health ambassadors. Led by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Commission (EC), the 2025 campaign is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine in Ireland, and will empower citizens to become plant health ambassadors, spotlighting how everyday actions can have powerful impacts on biodiversity, agriculture, and the environment. Plant Health, Biodiversity, and Economy in the EU Speaking on the campaign, garden designer and UN FAO Goodwill Ambassador for Ireland, Diarmuid Gavin, said: "Along with being places of beauty, our gardens are frontline defences in the fight for biodiversity and climate resilience. Every seed we sow responsibly and every pest we spot early is a step toward protecting Ireland's natural environment. This campaign reminds us that plant health begins at home, and we all have a role to play." Ms Louise Byrne, Chief Plant Health Officer for Ireland, added: "Protecting plant health is something every person in Ireland can contribute to. People should travel wisely and avoid bringing plants and seeds home from abroad. Practice responsible sourcing of plants with plant passports from reputable operators. Monitor plants in your garden and in the wider environment for pests and diseases and if you've concerns email PlantAndPests@agriculture.gov.ie. Empower the next generation by teaching children about the importance of plant health." Emphasising practical action and community involvement, the campaign encourages informed citizens not only to reflect but also to share their knowledge and inspire others to join in the collective effort to safeguard our ecosystems and economies. The campaign urges travellers not to bring back any plants, flowers, seeds, fruits, or vegetables from outside the EU, as these items may harbour plant pests or diseases detrimental to native flora. Additionally, consumers are advised to buy plants and seeds online only if accompanied by a valid phytosanitary or plant health certificate. Embracing good plant hygiene practices and promptly addressing signs of plant pests or diseases in home gardens and communal outdoor spaces will also prevent their spread to neighbouring plants and natural habitats. Sylvain Giraud, Head of Plant Health Unit in the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) said: "When citizens understand the vital role of plant health in their lives - from the food on their tables to the air they breathe - they become powerful agents of change. The #PlantHealth4Life campaign is a reminder that each of us can make a meaningful difference by staying informed and making thoughtful choices that help protect what sustains us all." Giuseppe Stancanelli, Team Leader for Plant Health Risk Assessment at EFSA added: "A plant isn't just a plant - it can carry other living organisms too. In our interconnected world, plants move more than ever. That's why the EU relies on science-based risk assessment to understand and manage potential threats to plant health - helping to protect our environment, agriculture, and biodiversity. Through the #PlantHealth4Life campaign, we're raising awareness across Europe." The 2025 #PlantHealth4Life campaign is running across 26 EU Member States, five EU pre-accession countries, and Switzerland. Visit www.efsa.europa.eu/en/plh4l and discover how to safeguard plant health. Melvyn Bragg and guests explore typology, a method of biblical interpretation that aims to meaningfully link people, places, and events in the Hebrew Bible, what Christians call the Old Testament, with the coming of Christ in the New Testament. Old Testament figures like Moses, Jonah, and King David were regarded by Christians as being ‘types' or symbols of Jesus. This way of thinking became hugely popular in medieval Europe, Renaissance England and Victorian Britain, as Christians sought to make sense of their Jewish inheritance - sometimes rejecting that inheritance with antisemitic fervour. It was a way of seeing human history as part of a divine plan, with ancient events prefiguring more modern ones, and it influenced debates about the relationship between metaphor and reality in the bible, in literature, and in art. It also influenced attitudes towards reality, time and history. I'm your host, Nik, and today we kick off this series with one of the oldest and most vivid mass sightings ever recorded: the day the sky turned into a battlefield. On April 14, 1561, in Nuremberg, Germany, a peaceful dawn was shattered by chaos in the heavens. Hundreds of citizens witnessed an aerial event so bizarre they could only describe it in the terms of their time: a sky war. Dark spheres, cylindrical crafts, crosses, and rods collided, exploded, and fought. Then, as suddenly as it began, it ended, leaving behind scorched earth and a woodcut that would etch this mystery into history.Brief Encounters is a tightly produced, narrative podcast that dives headfirst into the world of UFO sightings, the paranormal, cryptids, myths, and unexplained legends. From ancient sky wars to modern close encounters, each episode takes listeners on a journey through some of the most mysterious and compelling cases in human history. Whether it's a well-documented military sighting or an eerie village legend whispered across generations, Brief Encounters delivers each story with atmosphere, depth, and cinematic storytelling. Each story is treated with respect, skepticism, and wonder — offering both seasoned enthusiasts and casual listeners something fresh to consider. Send us a textWhat happens when a veteran broadcast journalist with a passion for travel lands his dream job? Clint Henderson, Managing Editor at The Points Guy, takes us on a fascinating journey through his career transition from major news networks to the world of travel journalism.Having worked across ABC News, Fox, MSNBC and more, Clint brings a unique perspective to his role at The Points Guy. He shares how his broadcast writing skills—crafting short, punchy sentences for television—unexpectedly prepared him for digital content creation. With remarkable candor, he reflects on career decisions that shaped his path, including staying too long at Fox News despite growing personal discomfort with the blurring lines between news and opinion. The conversation shifts to practical travel wisdom as Clint reveals insider strategies that make travel accessible to everyone. From maximizing Google Flights' underutilized features to scoring Delta One business class to Australia for under 80,000 miles, his tips demonstrate how points and miles can transform travel experiences without breaking the bank. Particularly valuable is his insight into current market conditions, predicting "the summer of deals" with flights to Europe available for under $500 round trip.Beyond tactics, Clint offers philosophical reflections on travel itself. Having visited all 50 states and 60 countries, he acknowledges the bittersweet reality that there's never enough time to see everything: "Sometimes you just have to take a breath and say it's okay, I'm not going to be able to see everything in this world in this lifetime, and that's okay." This perspective from someone who's flown 88,000 miles already this year carries particular weight.Follow Clint's journey and insider tips by subscribing to The Points Guy newsletter or connecting with him on Instagram (@ClintPage1) and X (@ClintPHenderson).Check out the tools he mentions in this episode: Google flightsDeltaVacations AAvacations GoingThriftyTraveler Pointspath Seats.AeroPlease take a moment to rate, review and subscribe to the Media in Minutes podcast here or anywhere you get your podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/media-in-minutes/id1555710662

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHWe meet Nick, a New York police officer who desperately wants to be a detective but keeps failing the test. He's married to Audrey, a hairdresser who dreams of visiting Europe—a promise Nick made at their wedding but has yet to fulfill. After their 15th wedding anniversary dinner, Audrey calls him out on it, only for Nick to surprise her with the news that he's actually booked the trip. (He totally hasn't—but sometimes you gotta spend thousands of dollars to keep up a lie.) On the flight, Audrey meets billionaire Charles Cavendish, who invites her to a gathering aboard his family's yacht. When Nick hears about this, he's like, “No way. I have a whole thing planned.” But when that plan turns out to involve a packed tour bus, he gives in. Aboard the yacht, Nick and Audrey meet quite the cast of characters: Malcolm Quince (Cavendish's billionaire uncle), Suzi (Cavendish's ex-fiancée and now Quince's wife), Quince's son Tobey, actress Grace Ballard, a colonel and his bodyguard, a rapper, and a race car driver. Later that evening, Quince arrives and announces that Suzi—his new wife—will now be his sole heir, cutting everyone else out of the will. Naturally, this does not go over well. Just before the new will can be signed, the lights go out—and when they come back on, Quince is found stabbed through the heart. Nick jumps into detective mode and tells everyone to stay on the yacht. That night, Tobey is found dead in what looks like a suicide. When they arrive in Monte Carlo, a local investigator boards the yacht to question everyone. The other guests point fingers at the “random Americans.” The investigator tells Nick and Audrey he knows they're guilty and promises to prove it. At the Monaco Grand Prix, Nick and Audrey begin their own investigation to clear their names, interrogating the other guests. That night, the colonel's bodyguard lures them to his room and drops a bombshell: Quince once married the colonel's fiancée while the colonel was in a coma. She later died in childbirth. Just as things get juicy, someone knocks. Nick and Audrey hide, and when they come out, the bodyguard has been shot—he dies before naming the killer. Audrey is shaken when a news broadcast reveals that Nick isn't really a detective. She storms off and is picked up by Cavendish, who urges her to leave Monte Carlo immediately. Eventually, everyone winds up at a lake. Nick and Audrey reconcile and start to suspect that Cavendish and Suzi are romantically involved and conspiring to split Quince's fortune. While fleeing a masked attacker with a blow dart, they run into Carlos, the race car driver. Suzi is killed with a dart, and Nick and Carlos chase the killer but lose them. Nick and Audrey head to Quince's mansion to confront Cavendish—only to find him poisoned. They call the investigator and gather the remaining guests, but everyone seems to have an alibi. Nick and Audrey then reveal that Grace, the actress, is the mastermind. She's actually the daughter who was believed to have died in childbirth. She convinced Tobey to kill their father and then killed him herself. When she tries to escape, Nick shoots her in the arm. But the mystery isn't over—Carlos is revealed to be the second killer, seeking revenge on Quince for the injuries that left his father disabled. Carlos takes the investigator hostage and tries to escape in a car, but Nick and Audrey stop him—with help from that overcrowded tour bus they skipped earlier. In the aftermath, the investigator thanks them and offers to help Nick finally earn his promotion. The couple continues their European adventure.
