When you invest in your business, are you getting the most out of it? Many entrepreneurs focus on what the investment might give them instead of what they bring to it, leaving huge potential untapped. The difference between a good return and a radical return isn't the amount spent; it's how fully you show up, how fanatically you engage with the coaching, and how you take ownership of your results.   In this episode, I share what it looks like to be a radical student and how that mindset produces 10X returns. You'll also discover the specific behaviors that separate radical students from those who barely break even. From overcoming fear and discomfort to leveraging every ounce of coaching, I outline the strategies that ensure your investments don't just pay off; they transform your business. If you want to get the absolute most from every dollar, every call, and every learning opportunity, this episode is for you.   If you want to start making serious money as a coach, you need to check out 2k for 2k. When life gets overwhelming, there's a natural human tendency to look around and wait for someone to fix it. But that waiting becomes a trap - a comfortable but suffocating space where you convince yourself that your circumstances will magically improve. And while you wait, the years slip by and nothing changes.   Join me this week as I share seven words from David Goggins' book Can't Hurt Me that completely shifted my perspective. You'll discover practical ways to stop making excuses, own your choices, and focus on solutions instead of living in your problems. Most importantly, you'll understand why taking control of your life - even when it's messy and imperfect - is the most empowering thing you can do for yourself.   Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: https://carriehollandmd.com/172   Follow me on Facebook and Instagram: https://www.facebook.com/carriehollandmd https://www.instagram.com/carriehollandmd/

Running a business is a constant cycle of making educated guesses, testing those guesses, implementing new strategies, evaluating what works and what doesn't, and then doing it all over again. This reality catches many coaches off guard - they expect to find one right answer that works forever, but that's simply not how business operates.    In this third part of my Launch Secrets series, I'm breaking down the decision-making framework that helped me turn two failed launches into a completely full program. You'll learn how to create strategic questions that actually move you forward instead of keeping you stuck in fear-based thinking. I share my exact 48-hour pivot timeline, the backup plan strategy that makes me braver with decisions, and why moving fast once you have clarity is crucial for momentum.   Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: lindsaydotzlafcoaching.com/258   Learn more about Reimagine here: lindsaydotzlafcoaching.com/reimagine-mastermind-2025/   Follow along over on Instagram: instagram.com/lindsaydotzlaf/

A few years ago I shared my Reinvention Series that was wildly popular (Ep. 301-306). It shared my 3.5 year period of going through a terribly difficult time that included a debilitating back injury, 2nd knee replacement, sleep apnea diagnosis, being burnt-out, and ultimately exiting Fitness Quest 10 from day-to-day operations. What I realize now is that it was all a setup for what is about to be NEXT. I recently made a huge decision that is setting up my next step in business & life. But I had to take the FIRST step before advancing to the NEXT step. After 25-years of being in my original location where I started my gym, I have decided to NOT renew my lease. There are several reasons why and I will share all of them on today's IMPACT SHOW episode. As a matter of fact, tune-in to today's first episode of a series called ‘Next Chapter Starts Now' that will end with one of the biggest 2 announcements in my entire fitness & coaching career. LITERALLY. Here is what I will discuss today: Why this is (kinda) my last podcast ever… What I believe is next? Top “10” Reflections on 25-Years in the “Roots” including… 1. Reggie Bush puking off the balcony 2. Training “LT” (LaDainian Tomlinson) for the 1st time 3. Training Drew Brees for the 1st time 4. The diamond girl coming into the gym to show me engagement rings 5. My Boom Box was a mainstay for years! 6. Svarpa Yoga and a curtain between my TD Fitness Classes and that yoga class.  7. The “Green Room” and the “Blue Room”—2 massage rooms 8. Melanie & I painting the ROOTS before we opened with our first golden retriever, Sid. 9. The power of Community. September 11, 2001. The fires in Scripps Ranch in 2003. Fires again in 2006. COMMUNITY in the good times and the tough times. . 10. Expanding…twice. First, 2002 Took over a breast-pump rental store. Gave us an extra 1,000 square feet. Then in 2006, we took over downstairs. It was a 500K expansion. I was scared and excited. 11. And Then Some: The 6-things I put on a Notecard to manifest an additional $10,000 per month when expanding. I end today's episode with 4 Coaching Questions for you to answer: 1. Have you ever moved from something that makes little or no sense to the outside world, but it feels so RIGHT on the inside world? 2. Have you ever been so scared to make a move that you deliberated for a while, or even too long, before making it? 3. How does FEAR play out in your world? Does it paralyze or crush you? Or does it propel you?4. What big decisions are you making today that you KNOW the answer “inside” but you aren't making them… (employee, expansion, sell, or acquire, grow, invest, etc.) and WHEN are you going to make those decisions? What is going to happen that will allow you to make them? #181 - Christian Ray Flores' life reads like an epic novel - a childhood marked by upheaval across continents, an improbable rise to pop stardom in Russia, and a profound transformation into a purposeful coach helping others discover their untapped potential.Growing up amid political chaos, Christian experienced firsthand what most of us only read about in history books. By age seven, he had lived through a military coup in Chile that landed his father in a concentration camp, experienced refugee life under UN protection, and witnessed civil war in Mozambique. The constant relocations forced him to absorb four languages by age nine, unwittingly preparing him for a life bridging different worlds and perspectives. When the Soviet Union collapsed around him just as he completed his economics degree, Christian made the unconventional choice to pursue music instead of academia. His gamble paid off spectacularly. Within years, he was performing in sports arenas across 15 countries, selling millions of albums, and even creating the campaign anthem for Boris Yeltsin's pivotal election against communist forces. Yet at the pinnacle of success, he found himself clinically depressed - a paradox that would later inform his coaching philosophy. The turning point came through spiritual transformation and marriage to an American woman who saw past his celebrity to the person beneath. After transitioning to life in America, Christian discovered his calling as a coach for high-achievers who, like his former self, might appear successful on paper while feeling incomplete or imbalanced within. His unique approach helps clients recognize when they're "fighting with one hand tied behind their back" - achieving impressive results while leaving their most powerful gifts dormant. Through his Exponential Life coaching program, he helps entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives untie that second hand and experience breakthrough performance aligned with their deepest purpose. What makes Christian's perspective so valuable is that he's lived at both extremes - from refugee facilities to celebrity mansions, from communist oppression to American opportunity. This journey fueled his book "Little Book of Big Reasons to Love America," which offers a refreshing immigrant perspective on American possibility in an age of cynicism.Want to discover what might be dormant in your own life? Are you holding back from offering your services or raising prices because you fear being called a "cash grab"? That shame can hit hard, making you question your intentions, integrity, and even whether you belong in this industry. It can keep you small, prevent you from serving your clients fully, and stop you from creating programs or offers that could have a real impact.   In this episode, I break down why "cash grab" is actually a derogatory term designed to shame entrepreneurs for running profitable businesses. You'll learn how to maintain integrity while protecting profit, how to integrate your coach brain with your entrepreneur brain, why multiple offers don't equal desperation or overwork, and how to handle the grief when others try to keep you small. Most importantly, you'll discover how to distinguish healthy entrepreneurship from the shame that can stop innovation and growth.   If you want to start making serious money as a coach, you need to check out 2k for 2k. One puts you in the passenger seat of your life, while the other pretends you're not even holding the steering wheel.   Here's the truth: hope isn't always your friend. Sometimes, it's actually keeping you from taking powerful action in your life. If you've been feeling stuck in a “hope" cycle, constantly wishing for better results but not seeing them, this episode is your wake-up call.   Tune in this week as I break down exactly when hope is useful and when it's not.    Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: https://jodymoore.com/532
