Epstein Files Set for Release: The House passed a bill instructing the Department of Justice to release its Epstein files, with President Trump expected to sign it shortly. Speaker Mike Johnson warned that the measure risks exposing victims, revealing child abuse images, and forcing declassification of intelligence records that may contain sensitive sources and methods. His comments suggest that U.S. intelligence agencies hold Epstein-related material, fueling long-standing questions about whether Epstein worked with the CIA, Mossad, or European services. Bryan calls the ruling pure political activism that harms the very communities it claims to protect. Texas Redistricting and California Citizenship Rush: A federal court struck down Texas's new GOP drawn congressional map. In California, migrants rushed to obtain citizenship before a harder civics test took effect, a change Trump implemented to restore basic knowledge of American history and law. Foreign Nationals Driving Trucks and Spreading Risk: DHS arrested an Uzbek national living in Pennsylvania who obtained a commercial driver's license despite ties to jihadist recruitment. Bryan warns that thousands of foreign drivers, many without proper vetting, may be transporting hazardous materials across the country. OPT Program Exposes American Graduates: Senator Eric Schmitt highlighted a federal program called Optional Practical Training that allows foreign graduates to work for three years without payroll taxes, making them cheaper to hire than American college students. Bryan says the program, along with H-1B visas, is shutting young Americans out of the workforce. Good News on Food and Science: China appears to have resumed large soybean purchases from U.S. farmers, and dairy ranchers are increasing beef production with new cross bred calves. Suddenly, President Trump's effort to rig the 2026 midterms with corrupt gerrymanders appears in trouble. A panel of judges just blocked the GOP gerrymander in Texas, which had added five seats. In Indiana, Republicans currently lack the votes to redraw their congressional map. Trump is angry about all this. He lashed out at Indiana Republicans, threatening primaries and calling one opponent “weak” and “pathetic.” So is the scheme dead? No Several aspects of it still remain unresolved. The Texas seats are in doubt, but that's being appealed, and Republicans have added four other seats. Meanwhile, Democrats are adding 5 in California and one in Utah. Now what? We talked to Heather Williams, who's been fighting against the GOP schemes as president of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. In today's episode, we're talking with Becky Diaz - a personal trainer, nutritionist, and placenta encapsulator who used fitness and nutrition to help prepare for her most recent home birth.  Becky and her husband Hugo live in Los Angeles, California and have 3 children: Riley, Julian and River. Her first was born in a hospital, where she experienced an epidural and pitocin. For babies 2 and 3, they decided to go with home birth. Becky was really interested in how she could use the experiences of pregnancy and birth to really push herself and learn about herself more. In our conversation, we talk a lot about the preparation she did for her third birth for baby River. This pregnancy involved a lot more mental work - being more mindful and not just muscling through the birth. This was more about trust and surrender to the process. Becky utilized techniques like meditation to support her. She used a visualization practice of seeing the sensations as waves crashing and washing away, rather than a painful contraction. Birth for her was incredibly spiritual, and she says it was the most meditative she's ever felt.  Becky is a beautiful examples of knowing yourself, tapping into that and using it to help you prepare for such an incredible experience like birth is. Another key piece of advice from her that we totally agree with: “Don't listen to someone else's horror story.” In other words, be mindful of the material you take in during pregnancy and birth preparation.
