Cory George is a Traumatologist and Mental Health Consultant. Trauma touches us all! The word “trauma” literally means wound, shock, or injury. People process experiences differently, and not everyone has the same reaction to any event; what one person experiences as trauma may not cause distress for another. Children as well as adults are susceptible to trauma. Shock, fear, anger, sadness, difficulty concentrating, and a sense of helplessness are common features of the immediate trauma response. However, the effects usually abate over time, and the vast majority of people recover from trauma. Active coping skills and strong social support are important in mitigating symptoms and preventing the longer-term effects of trauma on mental health. Join us for an in-depth conversation about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the importance of understanding, recognizing, managing and coping with intergenerational and cultural trauma. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/hesaidhesaidhesaidlive/message
When Tim Daly and I sit down at his kitchen table for our 6th Really Famous talk, we get philosophical - and Tim says some things he probably shouldn't (his words, not mine!). Of course we talk Madam Secretary, Wings, how handsome Tim is, his status with co-star and life partner Téa Leoni, etc. But we also get into deep (and shallow) thoughts, about aging, fear, death, intimacy and more. You'll feel like you're right there with us, sitting at the table with Tim's dog, Goose, coming and going, weaving from topic to topic and analyzing our individual takes on life. Enjoy. THIS IS A REPLAY OF EPISODE #24 This week's guest, Georgia Bryce-Hutchinson, was educated and trained as an environmental engineer when her lived experience in the workplace motivated her to understand better how the workplace was causing her to feel. This exploration led her to become certified as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Consultant. She is also a speaker and author of "On Your Way to Meeting You: The Journey That Changes Everything" and owner of Building Families According to Pattern, LLC. Georgia combines her ability to think logically with her passion for robust mental health as a motivator to help individuals and families in her clinical practice, including those exposed to psychosocial hazards at work. She has also recently begun to focus on helping large organizations address mental health through training and consulting efforts. She believes that "you can not separate the person from the worker," and the work environment should be a place that facilitates growth rather than harm. In this episode, she'll share her thoughts with host Dr. I. David Daniels on why "Work Shouldn't Hurt Emotionally."
A big issue from coast to coast is mental wellness in the workplace because many companies are just not set up to deal with it. The employee might have a concern reporting it to H.R., won't tell the boss, and so people are struggling. They're burning out. To talk about that today is Michael Dickerson, a workplace mental health consultant.

The rise in adolescent suicides is an alarming trend, gaining global attention in recent years. Youth and young adults ages 10-24 comprise 15% of suicide deaths in the United States and are the second leading cause of death amongst this age group. Amidst these grim statistics, the essential role of educational institutions in suicide prevention is now more pertinent than ever, with educators enlisted to embrace a preventative, proactive approach to fostering a safer environment for their students. Schools recognized the need to address student mental health during the pandemic. How can schools effectively intervene in this escalating crisis? What changes in approach and understanding are necessary to make schools integral players in suicide prevention? In today's episode of School Safety Today by Raptor Technologies, host Michelle Dawn Mooney sat down with Dr. Amy Grosso, Mental Health Consultant, to shed light on this vital issue. The pair discussed comprehensively saving young lives and a school's role in adolescent suicide prevention. Mooney and Grosso's conversation includes the following:• The importance of a holistic approach to suicide prevention and the actionable steps schools can implement to bolster their existing protocols.• The necessary shift in perception regarding mental health in schools, broadening the understanding of what constitutes suicide prevention work.• The value of collaboration between social workers and law enforcement in handling mental health crises in schools, and the challenges and benefits of integrating these two professions.Dr. Amy Grosso brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her background involves a Ph.D. in counseling and counselor education and a history as a mental health counselor. More recently, she has worked with a school district to develop suicide protocols and threat assessment procedures, even creating a model of school policing where social workers and police work together. Highly active with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for the past five years, Dr. Grosso also serves on their national chapter leadership board, working to help others understand that suicide is preventable and what education is needed.

Psychotherapist Tracy Livecchi, LCSW, joins Paul Cardall to discuss healing hearts and minds of people born with an illness that requires a life time of medical care. Both Tracy and Paul were born with complex congenital heart defects. Although congenital heart disease or CHD is the least funded of all major illnesses, CHD remains the leading cause of infant related deaths. However, because of advancements in medicine and technology millions of people have survived and adapt to what would be considered a normal life, although their lives have required a life-time of medical care and surgical procedures. They swap stories and go into detail about the miracle of life and how Tracy's parents were instrumental in working with doctors to secure her survival. Because of the lack of information for lifelong patients, Tracy and her colleague Liza Morton, PhD have written "Healing Hearts and Minds: A Holistic Approach to Coping Well With Congenital Heart Disease." This week's guest, Georgia Bryce-Hutchinson, was educated and trained as an environmental engineer when her lived experience in the workplace motivated her to understand better how the workplace was causing her to feel.

In this week's show Ambiverts – a new type of person? You know what I mean? Actually, no I don't and nor do you. Exercising your opposite personality muscles. Is convenience damaging us? A discussion with Tom Cleary: Tom is a wellbeing & Mental Health Consultant who specialising in Mindfulness in Education & Business. Contact Tom at https://tom-cleary.co.uk/ Question of the week: What's the difference between ambivert and omnivert? My takeaways from the discussion were: The importance of self-compassion, at least treat yourself as well as you'd treat your friends. Be more aware of how you talk to yourself, especially common phrases you use on yourself. Constructive feedback needs to build confidence, use facts not emotions and help the other person to create their answers rather than just giving them yours. Receiving feedback: Consider the context and look for patterns, rather than just accepting all feedback a damaging truth. What were yours? Add to a discussion on the Facebook page Activate Your Introvert What question would you like answered about introversion? Visit ActivateYourIntrovert.co.uk and let me know. I'll answer your question on the show, and you'd be welcome to join me on the show, if you like.

The season that suggests we should have joy, peace and love can often instead be filled with busyness, financial demands and feelings of being overwhelmed. Getting just the right gift and saying just the right thing is difficult enough without having to navigate all the fears and restrictions introduced by a pandemic. The speaker has worked with more than 8000 clients who asked her to help them problem solve. She is an expert at focusing on the things that keep everyone healthy and sane – especially in a world that now seems to be filled with insanity. Speaker: Linda Hancock Linda Hancock was born and raised in the prairie town of Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Canada. Linda earned degrees in Arts, Social Work, Education and Psychology to the Doctoral level. (As she says, she had to spend her time and money on something, because she doesn't golf!) As a Registered Psychologist and Registered Social Worker, Dr. Hancock helps individuals, groups, organizations and communities to problem-solve and reach their potential. She is a trained mediator who has worked as a Child Welfare Case Manager and Investigator, Mental Health Consultant, and educator teaching in college and university settings. Her professional career has spanned the fields of justice, health and education.
For nearly a decade, Kelechi has worked in the California mental health system in the areas of research and advocacy, community engagement, stigma reduction, and peer support. She began her career as an investigative reporter in New York City, and was the first student-reporter ever published in The New York Times. After witnessing the impact of trauma and mental health issues on the people she was writing about, she decided to change her focus to providing direct mental health support. She relocated to California and started working at PEERS, a consumer-run mental health nonprofit. At PEERS, Kelechi supervised mental health programs, led communication operations, and partnered with Dr. Patrick Corrigan, on a project which provided mental health recovery story-telling trainings across 41 California counties. She also managed a Columbia University research project examining mental health stigma in the Chinese community with Dr. Lawrence Yang. Kelechi transitioned to research and evaluation work at Resource Development Associates where she was a senior project manager, wrote grants, and conducted community-based participatory research spanning the fields of mental health, child welfare, education, and criminal justice. A popular keynote speaker, Kelechi worked at CalMHSA as the Statewide Peer and Community Engagement Manager for a large technology project to bring digital mental health solutions to California counties. At CalMHSA, she conducted community outreach and engagement and facilitated listening sessions with over 250 stakeholders to develop digital mental health literacy programming. Kelechi also has a large body of work in suicide prevention, and published the book We've Been Too Patient in 2019. Currently, Kelechi is a consultant working with clients dedicated to transforming mental health, substance use services, as well as justice system reform and workforce development. Her areas of specialty are training, workshop delivery and design, meeting and retreat facilitation, planning and research, curriculum development, and community engagement. In summer of 2020, Kelechi Ubozoh dedicated her time to facilitating healing-centered spaces for black employees internationally to respond to the ongoing violence toward the black community. She also helped co-create the Discussions that Matter program with Heliana Ramirez, which placed peers and clinicians as co-facilitators of affinity groups to support important dialogue emerging in 2020 around race, mental health, radical healing, and moving toward liberation. In 2021, Kelechi was named a Mental Health Champion by the Steinberg Institute. ABOUT KELECHI'S BOOK We've Been Too Patient: Voices from Radical Mental Health, Kelechi's book with co-editor L.D. Green, was released from North Atlantic Books and distributed by Penguin Random House, July 2019.

Listen as we discuss addressing social anxiety as the summer kicks off and how to mentally and emotionally cope if you must report back to an office setting soon. We also reflect on the one-year anniversary of George Floyd's murder, with Dr. Akua offering some great insight into the long-term mental health effects of racial trauma, embracing healing in our communities and the importance of humanizing our own bodies while living in a system that does not.

A question that comes up often in our FB discussions is on dating and Attachment Styles. Per popular request, in this episode, I interview therapist Diana Chu on what attachment style is, how it impacts our relationships, and specific strategies we can employ to move us towards becoming more securely attached. “A lot of times people who are anxiously attached are attracted to people who are avoidant of attachment. Those two attachment types are like magnets to each other. The trick is not to get hooked on the highs and lows and mistake an activated attachment system for passion or love.” — Amir Levine & Rachel Heller Diana also talks in-depth about how therapists assist clients in this process, using “saying no” and boundary setting as examples. [min 3:00] The origin of attachment theory — The “Strange Situation” tests the four types of attachment style Anxious (Preoccupied), Disorganized (Fearful-Avoidant), Avoidant (Dismissive), and Secure. [min 6:45] Attachment styles and how it impacts how we communicate in dating and relationships [min 10] How attachment style came from childhood template [min 11:15] How to move from Insecure to Secure Attachment style? [min 13:00] How therapists model Secure Attachment style for their clients [min 15:30] How drama therapy can help us learn how to handle difficult conversations (i.e., saying no) [min 17:45] Setting boundaries in dating relationships when Insecurely Attached [min 20:00] What happens when we grew up with parents that didn't allow us to set boundaries? [min 21:15] What happens if people disregard your boundaries? [min 22:15] Why it's essential to ask the hard questions in dating early? [min 24:30] Why reciprocity is vital in boundary-setting []Why effective communication frees you from anxiety in relationships [min 27:00] Can you “act-as-if” yourself into being Securely Attached? International Keynote Speaker, Mental Health Consultant, Psychotherapist, Executive Coach, Podcast Host, Training Provider. Raised in a cult, Petra’s story is one of courage in the face of adversity. She believes if we utilise empathy and generate human connection at work we can create mentally healthy workplaces and enhance productivity.Petra Velzeboerwas born into the infamous Children of God cult where she was raised with the pressure of saving the world, with no formal education to speak of or resources on how to make it in the outside world. At 22 she moved to the UK pregnant, isolated from her family and support groups she tried as best she could to just be normal and fit into life on the outside. At 25, with 2 children and a boyfriend who went out to work, she experienced chronic isolation, depression and sank into alcohol dependence leading to suicidal ideation and destructive behaviours. There was a moment in time when she realised she had a choice. She could either end everything now or she could give herself a deadline to figure out if there was a way to be happy and fulfilled in life. She gave herself a secret deadline of one year to figure it out. She utilised this time to observe people, read and begin her education as a psychotherapist. She experimented on her own life in every form imaginable from exercise, learning, meditation, joining support groups, asking people questions, attending events and practicing everything she learned on herself. After the year past she realised everything wasn’t perfect but she no longer wanted to end it all and in 2012 she completed her MSc in Psychodynamics of Human Development. The girl who had no education had achieved something she never thought she could. Her career has spanned working with young offenders, with mental health charity’s such as Young Minds, working as Clinical Director of an EAP and running her own practice since 2009. She now runs a thriving Mental Health consultancy which includes training leaders in mental health awareness, advising organisations on their mental health strategy, executive coaching for leaders wanting to create healthy workplaces and giving keynotes on mental health, authenticity and creating the best place to work.Petra knows that the world of work is changing and organisations who are ahead of the curve in mental health innovation, retain staff, avoid long term absences, create safer places to work and are ultimately more productive environments. Petra Velzeboer is a mental health consultant, executive coach and podcaster. She has a radical 'no BS' approach to mental health and isn't afraid to come out with some hard hitting facts of life. She has a challenging personal story from being raised in a cult which she broke out of to then fall into alcohol abuse and motherhood. Her tale of turning herself around to get her qualifications and become a shining beacon of inspiration and advice to others is amazing. She is a true advocate of the Growth Mindset and an absolute legend. On the show we go through her dark history and the amazing challenges she overcame. But it is not a perfect wonder story and we both reflect on our own current challenges instead of pretending we have arrived at this Nirvana of knowing everything and being happy which too many people pretend. This is a hard hitting episode with lots of insights and tips for really being true to yourself, taking accountability and becoming the person you should be. NOTES 1:30 - MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTANT WHAT IS THAT? coaching CEO’s and VPs so it can be coaching but also relationships. Mainly go into companies to help their strategy on a mental health perspective 2:40 - Are there any common themes between business Work with many different business, always humans so fundamentally it is all quite similar 3:35 - what are the common mental health problems in startups? Systems and structure that is needed as you scale up often fails. Managers need more empowerment to talk openly and honestly about mental health 5:30 - Bigger companies have more issues Old school companies have more issues due to things being in place for a long time. But as new companies are innovating on best practices older companies are starting to catch up. 7:10 - How did you get into this position Well my success came from 12 years of working super hard in the area. But I started from a weird place of being raised in a religious cult and then suffering from alcohol addiction and abuse. After nearly dying I developed a bit more of a nothing matter attitude so I’m very quick to jump right to the heart of the problem and don’t BS around the topic. I’m happy to confront a CEO with their biggest problem and tell them they’re doing things wrong. I am just facinated in the area and it kind of happened with me following my curiousity and one thing leading to another. 9:00 - Have you always been fascinated in mental health problems or did it spark from solving your own problems first? Ironically I was in some of the darkest moments of my own life whilst studying to be a psychotherapist. There was definitely a deep drive to fix my own problems and survive and became addicted to learning. 10:00 - So how did you learn the profession exactly? Initially I did a one day a week class whilst I was still an alcoholic and I managed to just about keep it up despite feeling awful the entire day. I then took on a masters degree at night whilst I was working full time and raising my kids. So anyone who puts something off because they don’t have time is lying to themselves. I was really lucky to even get on the course, when I started I didn’t have a plan for how to pay for it but I just took the leap and worked it out as I went along 11:20 - How did you deal with addiction and getting out of it? I went to Alcoholics anonymous which definitely saved me and it was essential for the first two years. But it is also really cult-like and I am hyper sensitive to cults after being raised in one so I was happy to leave once I was strong enough. I don’t want to give up my power and control in the long term. In the short term it was great to have people around to talk to and release my problems. It was great to admit I just really needed a drink right now, but once it was out there it suddenly felt easier to deal with. After I was stronger I found AA limiting being around others who were complaining about their problems and needing to drink etc… and was actually unhealthy for me. So I tried to build a network of people that lift me up. 13:45 - Sounds like a very mindful process to realise the moments when you need a drink and intervene Yes I really needed that ability to call someone when I had an urge. I also really relied on a 3 minute meditation after every urge to stop and think mindfully about why I shouldn’t do it. I must have listened a million times. Any time I had a slight level of cortisol increase I would need it. 15:05 - So what does being raised in a cult mean? it sounds black and white but it was all shades of grey. Lots of hippie communes and travelling to events and classes. It has a lot of similarities to organisations as they grow, it takes one toxic person to suddenly change the entire atmosphere. There is a weird brainwashing feedback loop where If you agree with the group you get rewarded and promoted and more privileges. If you try to change the trend at all you are ostracised and told your a bad person. Because you have no money and rely on the group and have nowhere to go you. This reinforces the idea that they are right and if you leave god will punish you. For all my generation in the cult we had major trauma around being unable to build a life outside the cult or knowing what to do 18:00 - Did you keep in touch with other members then? It took a few years to be completely isolated from that way of thinking to build my opinions. I really needed a growth mindset to become a different person first to then talk with them all about the experience and how bad it was without feeling like I still needed it. Take responsibility for myself first 19:00 - Taking responsibility is always a good step to get out of the victim mindset I’ve really started to focus on this and so many people that go through worse stuff and find. There is never a good reason to feel like a victim when you can take ownership. This is the point of my podcast 20:10 - Breaking through adversity is a really good topic. How did you first select the theme and start the podcast? I guess I was listening to a lot of podcasts and always wanted to be a radio host when I was young. I thought about what I really needed to hear when I was in my problems but also can I satisfy my curiosity and learn at the same time. So even if no-one listens I will still enjoy it. Then the first few episodes really helped me. Since then I’ve good periods and bad periods and learn what works. 23:30 - So what were your biggest lessons I guess it sometimes felt like just work and occasionally even I would be bored. So now I have a priming conversation to get connected and work out their direction and theme we can focus on for the podcast. 24:00 - What’s your favourite question to ask people? I like knowing what challenges they are facing now and their general practices. people saying it used to be bad and now it’s perfect is just wrong. 25:45 - So what are your big challenges currently? I’m taking on a lot of public speaking which is quite scary and difficult but it’s really helping me grow and it’s a challenge I like to have. I also have two teenagers which I share with my ex-husband half the week. coming to terms with his new wife is not easy. I’m defining my no BS approach to mental health and building a course for it which is also a challenge I’m taking on. 27:30 - How about writing a book I spoke to a publisher and really want to do this also. So I will definitely try and do this. 27:50 - How did you start a public speaking career I hustled a lot. I worked helping kids where I wasn’t needed but I kept on showing up. I took every opportunity to speak at meet ups and and consistently showing up. I made tonnes of mistakes and had things go wrong but I just keep going and it gets better. The world doesn’t end when i mess up on stage and I just carry on. Then I’m really good at finding mentors. If you find people who have done it and ask for help then you can really open up a lot of opportunities. Do what they tell you to do and then they’ll help you more. 30:30 - So did you stick with just one agency Definitely register on as many as possible. They all have different connections and have different things that work better or worse for your type of content. And go to the agency and show up and show them why your type of content is important and how it can be funny. When they know your personality they know how to sell you. 31:00 - Most important tip One rejection does not mean you are not on the right path, it just means you might not be right for that person or it happens to be the wrong time of the day etc.. Keep on trying and showing up! So many people give up, if you believe just do it anyway 31:30 - What do you see in the future of mental health? There will be a framework that companies need to align with to prove they are doing all the right things to ensure good mental health. Companies will be competitive to provide the best mental health. Young people want to work for companies of purpose and have great satisfaction and wellbeing in what they do 33:30 - what do you do now for you mental health I’m trying the 5am club. the victory hour when you start 20 mins exercise 20 mins goal setting 20 mins learning it basically means you are brainwashing yourself to be awesome and gives you and hour away from tech. then again in the evening writing your reflections: 3 things I’m grateful for 3 things to do that will make today a success 3 things i want to be today 35:40 - Whats the best advice you’ve been given “The best revenge is living a good life.” Instead of focussing on messing up your life or other peoples this flips it into a positive action to just go and be awesome. Then it also links to my other favourite quote. “It’s all your fault” Everything that happens is down to you. You have control to fix it or not. accept responsibility and then you can change it. Anything that happens now that goes wrong I can take on. People who always blame everything around them are going nowhere. 36:45 - What is the kindest thing someone did for you? Ex husband really helped me get through my worst problems at the time. He also presented many other problems but his consistent help was the most incredible thing when I needed it. 37:40 - Most vivid memory from childhood One of my family members getting consistently punished in front of everyone and not having a voice to be able to do anything about it. This really forced me to never not have a voice instead, I have always felt like a coward since for not doing something or saying ‘punish me instead’. This has propelled me into having a voice and empowering others to have a voice. 38:40 - let’s flip questioning. What scares Sam the most? Getting too comfortable with something that is quite successful and 90% there and seeking a new challenge when you haven’t really made the most of mastering the thing you are doing. You can get panicked by getting by being about to have a clear success which you need to commit to and jump to something else. Existential life worry around women. Any day it isn’t really a problem that affects me and I”m pretty happy doing my thing. But if I just plod through life and get to 90 without every having a wife to share my life with that seems like one of the most important sources of joy I am completely missing out on. 41:00 - Time to apply the overnight success philosophy to dating. take the rejections and put in the time. you get better at it. now I’m really good at the first three months but after that I hit issues. But you get better at communicating your problems early and having honest conversations true. but yes as a guy it does take a lot of work to just get two dates on tinder. I guess more in person things and get used to loads of rejections and try and get 5 girls numbers a day and be used to talking to new woman all the time and make statistics work in your favour. 41:45 - So what’s the writing Sam is doing and your big goals Too many things. Psychology and mindsets, business advice, life advice, meta lessons you can learn from stupid things like 50 shades of grey. And then meditation, there’s a whole book to be written on the crazy journey that happens in your brain during a 10 day Vipassana retreat that’s never really been told. It’s weird but Vipassana was actually really funny and the whole thing felt like a comedy show of your life and how hilariously stupid you are, it could be told in a really nice way. I love improving at things and working on my craft. I really hope to be able to reach people and improve their lives as well with my learnings. 44:45 - yea ten days of silent retreat sounds horrible I hate the idea of it. perhaps one day I’ll be brave enough. It will be worth it! Subscribe! If you enjoyed the podcast please subscribe and rate it. And of course, share with your friends! Special Guest: Petra Velzeboer.

Hilary Jacobs Hendel is back! She joins us to talk about the misconceptions about emotions and how we can educate ourselves and others to further our healing. To relieve her patients’ suffering, psychotherapist Hilary Jacobs Hendel switched from practicing traditional talk psychotherapy to Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Traditional therapy focuses on people’s thoughts and stories while AEDP is a healing methodology that helps people connect with their core emotions. Hendel teaches us that core emotions like joy, anger, sadness, fear, and excitement, are automatic and universal physical experiences; this is firmly grounded in neuroscience. Lack of access to these core emotions is at the root of anxiety, depression, and many other problems people suffer from today. We can all be taught to rediscover our core emotions with The Change Triangle, an easy to learn tool that Hendel uses to help people move through emotions to a place of calm and which is an important part of healing anxiety and depression. After years of using this tool in her private practice, Hendel was convinced that it could be a life-changing resource for anyone.HILARY JACOBS HENDEL received her BA in Biochemistry from Wesleyan University, and an MSW from Fordham University. She is a certified psychoanalyst and AEDP psychotherapist and supervisor. She has published articles in The New York Times and professional journals. Episode 63 - This week Ron chats with Jack Wright about scaffolding and discipline without punishment in early education. Jack Wright was previously a Mental Health Consultant who worked with a HeadStart program on the Flathead Reservation in Montana. Jack describes the impact of punishment on children long term and why scaffolding and discipline can be trained without punishment. A relaxed, nonpunitive approach is more effective than a punishing approach for behaviour-changing in children. Resources Find out more about HiMama here.

Mental Health is one of those topics that everyone wants to discuss directly after a terror attack or a major incident. Mental Health is also one of those topics where everyone claims to be an expert. Truth is America is experiencing a MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS at this very moment. Please don't nod your head and pretend you know what I'm talking about. You do that and you'll start to look like our political class - their head moves, their mouths open, yet nothing intelligent comes out! Okay perhaps I'm being a bit over zealous out of the gate, or perhaps you're being too sensitive. Either way what I need to talk to you about today is important - so I've asked Dr. Larry Richardson to join me on the show. “I’m responsible for what I say, but I’m not responsible for what you hear,” says Dr. Richardson. Why is mental health so important? And more importantly, why do many of our leaders bury their head in the sand and pretend that they have the answers for the next election? Mental Health impacts every single one of us. Not one of us get a free pass in this lifetime. We are a country divided and in many ways a country on the brink - and not a good brink friends! “America has always been divided, I don’t know why people are so surprised about the division - it’s always been divided along racial, cultural, and economic lines from the beginning,” says Dr. Richardson. Dr. Larry T. Richardson has over 27 years of experience in the fields of mental health and addictions treatment. He currently operates a full time private practice behavioral health care business. He is currently a Mental Health Consultant for Jacksonville Job Corp and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dr. Richardson has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Biology from Florida A & M University, a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from LaSalle University. He has conducted workshops, seminars, and training at numerous conferences all over the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. When asked about the political ramifications of the election and mental health, Dr. Richardson said he would ask the following question to each of the political candidates. What type of plan do you envision in which every American would be assured of at least these 3 things: Can you insure the best possible healthcare and access to it without barriers - for everyone? Will everyone who desires have access to education that is in line with their potential and ambition? How would you insure that every American family or individual be entitled to safe and affordable housing? “This country was founded on a lie and hypocrisy,” as Dr. Richardson goes on to explain how the origins of America were less than pretty! Should be an interesting chat with DrBev and Dr. Richardson.
