While the downtime is frustrating, it's giving him space to reset his training and nutrition strategy.Protein-focused intermittent fasting: 180–200g of protein across 2 meals daily.Routine:3 full-body gym sessions (30 minutes, time under tension, circuit style).PT/rebounding on Tues & Thurs.Daily 1–2 mile walks.Planned HIIT trampoline sessions (not always done).Supplements: Glutathione patches boosted caloric expenditure and energy when used, but results declined after stopping.Routine stagnation: Same workouts/walks no longer elevate heart rate beyond Zone 2.Calorie balance: Needs ~1800–2000 calories daily to feel good, but weight loss requires dipping to ~1500, which tanks energy, hormones, and libido.Reluctant to adopt other cardio forms (boxing, yoga, pilates) despite potential benefits. Not interested in “outworking” calories with marathon-style activity like his brother's volleyball sessions.Red light therapy (Trifecta Light): Tried 12 sessions ($200 unlimited). Minimal personal results (slight arm nerve relief), but his 80-year-old mom noticed some weight loss. Brad is skeptical it's worth it for him long-term.Glutathione patches (Lifewave): Previously the best measurable boost on Whoop data, may revisit later.Testing over supplement overload: Pausing new supplement trials to focus on his own experiment with diet/training changes.Nutrition Shift:Move from 2 meals → 3 meals daily.Increase protein to 225–250g/day (all from real meat, no whey or pea protein).Lunch carries most carbs/fats, dinner focuses on salad + lean proteins (Mediterranean style: fish, chicken, crab, scallops).Maintain monthly 36–48 hour fasts for autophagy, while loosening daily fasting windows.Training Adjustments:Recommit to HIIT once per week (30s on/off on rebounder with vest, dumbbells, band, oxygen mask).Keep gym/rehab/walking structure, but recognize the need for stimulus change if progress stalls.Biohacker's Edge:Lean on protein-driven thermogenesis and added lean mass to naturally raise BMR.Hold off on glutathione patches until he proves the new plan works. If you're interested in online personal training or being a guest on my podcast, "Over 40 Fitness Hacks," you can reach me at brad@over40fitnesshacks.com or visit my website at:www.Over40FitnessHacks.comAdditionally, check out my Yelp reviews for my local business, Evolve Gym in Huntington Beach, at https://bit.ly/3GCKRzV

Introduction In this solo episode, Darin dives into a practice that has been both revered and misunderstood across history: the enema. From ancient Egypt and Mayan rituals to Ayurveda and modern biohacking, enemas have long been used as tools for cleansing, hydration, and targeted healing. It happens to even the best Biohackers sometimes. The obvious solution to get better sleep: do meditation and go to bed earlier, avoid screens before bed, wear blue-blocking glasses, take magnesium or melatonin before bed - stuff you've no doubt heard of before. I'm no stranger to it myself as I've been a salsa-dancing pickup artist, a digital nomad, an obsessive entrepreneur, and now - a brand new dad!Fortunately, there are some effective hacks for operating at almost 100% while sleep-deprived...Everything mentioned here

There's a thief entering the health and wellness space and it's called methylene blue. Methylene blue would be a wonderful addition in the healing world if it only offered something good, just one thing positive, if it offered just one little, helpful quality to contribute in the world of illness and healing, but unfortunately, it doesn't, and never will. For one, methylene blue is a salt that is void of all salt, void of all electrolytes, but not just void of all electrolytes…it's an electrolyte robber, taker, an electrolyte thief that, when enters the body, is far from a good thing for anyone who has a chronic illness or a neurological condition, vagus nerve problem or any issues at all with a sensitive central nervous system. That means that if someone has any kind of anxiety whatsoever, methylene blue will rob electrolytes that are critically needed for neurotransmitter function, which will then lead to worsened forms of anxiety. What does methylene blue possess? Nothing. It has no amino acids, no enzymes, no trace minerals, no macro minerals, no proteins, no nutrients, no phytochemical compounds, no antiviral compounds, no antibacterial compounds, no glucose, no vitamins, and the list goes on. Biohackers love methylene blue because it's an easy sell to desperate people who are chronically ill and are on the search for the next possible breakthrough in health. But methylene blue won't be the answer. What it will do, like many other trends have done in the past, is make bank for certain individuals and drain the pockets of people on their last leg who suffer. In this episode, you will learn much more about methylene blue and you can then be well informed to make your own decision on if it's right for you… In this episode… Learn how methylene blue is void of all nutrients, minerals, trace minerals, enzymes, amino acids, electrolytes, vitamins, and any phytochemical compounds. Discover how methylene blue creates chronic dehydration in the body from continual use. Find out why methylene blue is harmful to someone who has autoimmune or is battling chronic illness or symptoms and conditions. Become aware that methylene blue is really a pharmaceutical by design. Learn how methylene blue is not bioactive and isn't applicable to any of our body's needs. See how methylene blue is the new biohacker flavor of the year, yet has nothing to offer anyone who has chronic illness. Become aware of how methylene blue is going to split the penny with other trends that aren't helpful as well for the human body. Learn how bovine colostrum does not support an adult's health and how it only supports a baby calf's health. Find out how human babies can only benefit from human colostrum from their human mothers. All this and more, tune in and don't miss out on this important episode. You can revisit this episode anytime you need it. For more information visit www.medicalmedium.com

You'll hear stories from the clinic, data that matters, and the kind of takeaways you can actually use — whether you're a curious patient or a clinician trying to make sense of continuous glucose monitors, inflammatory markers, or why one of your patients still eats sardines. This is part one of a two-part conversation originally recorded for the OptiSpan Podcast, hosted by Dr. Kaeberlein. Stay tuned for part two, where they dig into blood work, hormones, LP(a), genetic testing, and the future of personalized longevity medicine.

What started with a few blood labs quickly turned into a full-blown system of hormone tuning, data tracking, and precise optimization. He's not just aging slower. His biological age is 24 years younger than his real age.Dave is a longevity-focused biohacker who treats his body like an engineering system. At 62, his biological age clocks in at just 38, and he's achieved it without a medical team, a trust fund, or a warehouse of tech. What he does have is a rigorous protocol, a deep understanding of blood chemistry, and a habit of challenging outdated medical assumptions. In this episode, Dave and I talk about how growing up with low self-esteem shaped his obsession with self-research, why most blood lab reference ranges are misleading, and how he utilizes monthly testing to fine-tune every variable that matters. We also dig into why stress once crushed his biological age score, and how he's now outperforming some of the most famous names in the biohacking world while spending under $15K a year.“Why would I want to be average for a population of sick people?” ~ Dave PascoeAbout Dave Pascoe:Dave Pascoe is a longevity-focused biohacker, data analyst, and self-experimenter whose current biological age clocks in at 38 years old, despite being over 62 chronologically. He's one of the top-ranked participants in the Rejuvenation Olympics and an outspoken advocate for using regular bloodwork, self-tracking, and science-backed interventions to slow aging, optimize health, and boost performance. On this episode we talk about: The five primal drivers that shape human behavior and decision-making—especially for entrepreneurs How Dave scaled Bulletproof Coffee and created entirely new wellness markets The critical role of community and authentic friendship in business success and longevity Why loneliness is a hidden epidemic among entrepreneurs and how to overcome it Practical frameworks for choosing the right friends, business partners, and team members The dangers of “category three” and “category four” personalities in your business and life Top 3 Takeaways Your body's primal operating system drives most decisions—even in business. Learning to reprogram fear, hunger, and other instincts frees up energy and willpower for higher-level thinking and entrepreneurship. Community is a massive lever for both personal well-being and business growth. Authentic connections with like-minded peers are essential for support, innovation, and navigating the unique challenges entrepreneurs face. Choosing the right people is everything. Understanding the four categories of people (win-win, usually win-win, win-lose unknowingly, and win-lose knowingly) can save you millions and prevent emotional and financial setbacks. Notable Quotes "You think that you're in charge, but your body's in charge and it runs the operating system of all life on the planet." "If you're allocating energy to anger, fear, loneliness, cravings, it just wastes all the energy that you ought to be putting into your mission, your family, your community." "Community is how I made biohacking into a $63 billion industry... I don't think you can do the advanced personal development practices by yourself. It does not work." The former 300-pound computer hacker turned multi-millionaire entrepreneur reveals how he lost half his body weight, built a £140M company, and why most people are unknowingly sabotaging their success. Asprey's controversial views on supplements, sleep tracking and emotional regulation will either change your life or make you very angry. Dave Asprey REVEALS: The vegan diet is a health scam How your body decides your emotions That all human behaviour follows five F-words: Fear, food, fucking, friend and forgiveness Calories don't make you fat How forgiveness is a biological hack How your energy field controls your company's success How venture capitalists remove your rights and equity bit by bit, always claiming it's for your own good or safety BEST MOMENTS "The vegan diet. Straight up health scam. I was a devout vegan, I became a raw vegan... I lost bone density, I lost muscle, and I finally shattered three teeth." "If I can trigger you, it means you're carrying a loaded gun. If you can be triggered, you are not in charge." "Your job as an entrepreneur... you must be the most regulated, stable, peaceful person in the room all the time." "The biggest lie is that calories count... eat a gram of uranium. It has a million calories. You should get fat. But strangely, they don't get fat." "So I could go from being a fat computer hacker with Asperger's Syndrome into a person who is connected to my emotions" VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team Episode Sponsor - AG1 Claim your exclusive offer of AG1 at the link below drinkag1.com/disruptors ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator.
