Lisa Wilkinson was one of the most recognisable faces in Australian media. Then, almost overnight, she was gone. In this episode of No Filter, she sits down with Kate Langbroek to unpack what led to that moment, and what came after. From her early career in magazines to the highs and pressures of breakfast television, Lisa reflects on the roles that defined her, and what it meant to lose them. She speaks candidly about not getting the chance to say goodbye, becoming the focus of intense public scrutiny, and navigating a period that forced her to reassess everything. At the same time, she was writing her most ambitious project yet, a book about Titanic survivor Evelyn Marsden, a story that became both an escape and a way through. This is a conversation about success, backlash, identity, and the reality of starting again. For more information on The Titanic Story of Evelyn by Lisa Wilkinson click here. In this episode of The Business Method Podcast, host Chris Reynolds sits down with entrepreneur and CEO Angelica, who shares the remarkable story of stepping into leadership when her family's company was on the verge of collapse and turning it into a billion-dollar turnaround. Angelica opens up about saying yes to the scariest opportunity of her career: becoming CEO of OmniLife and Chivas at a time when the company was nearing bankruptcy. Faced with enormous pressure, she restructured leadership, rebuilt operations and supply chains, unified branding across international markets, and made difficult decisions including layoffs while implementing a bold people-first culture. Throughout the conversation, Angelica reveals how fear can actually be a powerful signal for growth and why she encourages entrepreneurs, especially women to take action even when they feel afraid. She also shares her early experiences working in her family's energy business, the discrimination she faced as a woman in leadership, and the inner work that helped her build resilience, confidence, and clarity. Beyond business, Angelica introduces NOWFUL, her wellness system designed to help people reconnect with themselves through simple daily rituals. The system includes AI-powered affirmation cards, a mushroom complex, anchoring oils, magnesium sleep cream, and a 30-day challenge focused on breathing, gratitude, and positive habits. This episode is a powerful conversation about leadership, resilience, fear, wellness, and the mindset required to rebuild companies and transform lives.

In this episode of Uncommon Sense, I break down why I'm not satisfied with the FBI's official narrative surrounding Charlie Kirk and why I believe too many questions have been quietly labeled “off limits.”I explain why I agree with Candace Owens that the Tyler Robinson explanation feels incomplete, at best, and why the idea that he acted entirely alone deserves serious scrutiny rather than blind acceptance. I also address my personal suspicions regarding Erika Kirk and the toxic culture within TPUSA, shaped by my own experiences and tensions with TPUSA staff behind the scenes.Drawing from TPUSA events, I recount direct disagreements I had with staff over what I viewed as dangerously inadequate security, and why Charlie, tragically, never seemed to fully grasp how influential and vulnerable he had become. Finally, I discuss my theories and unanswered questions surrounding possible Israeli intelligence involvement (I do believe Mossad played a part in all of this). We must always dare to think our own thoughts and ask our own questions. In this episode of Widowed AF, Rosie Moss is joined by Betsy Ronel, a widow of 15 years, mother, New York real estate agent, and host of the podcast Heavens to Betsy.Betsy shares the story of her marriage to Daniel, a gifted plastic surgeon known for his integrity and deep ethical conviction. From early online dating to raising young children within a small-town medical community, their life together was shaped by love, ambition, and complexity. Daniel's sudden death in a car accident shattered that world overnight, leaving Betsy to navigate shock, public scrutiny, parenting through trauma, and the long, slow work of survival. With striking honesty, Betsy reflects on the realities of widowhood that rarely get spoken about: the corrosive myths around “moving on,” the stigma attached to grief-related coping behaviours, and the way loss reshapes identity over years rather than months. She speaks candidly about mental health, financial instability, therapy, and rebuilding a life that still makes room for love and memory.Rosie and Betsy also explore the concept of what they call “pure grief”, mourning without betrayal or anger.Threaded throughout the conversation is humour, tenderness, and a deep respect for the person who died, alongside the hard truth that grief does not disappear. As Betsy puts it, “There's no way around the grief, it will be waiting for you when you come back to Earth.”This is an episode about enduring love, dignity in grief, and finding ways to keep going without pretending the pain ever fully leaves.Key themes:Sudden loss and long-term widowhoodParenting children after the death of a parent“Pure grief” and mourning without betrayalMental health, stigma, and coping behavioursPublic scrutiny and navigating loss in small communitiesRebuilding identity and life after lossChapters0:02 Introducing Betsy Ronel and Shared Widowhood Experience5:08 Love After Loss: The Beginning of a New Chapter9:52 Building Family and Life Transitions17:24 Professional Challenges and Sudden Loss27:11 The Day Daniel Died and Immediate Aftermath43:40 Facing Grief, Public Scrutiny, and Legal Battles57:43 Navigating Grief and Single Parenthood64:31 Supporting Grieving Children and Parenting Challenges69:09 Financial Struggles, Rebuilding, and New Beginnings78:20 Reflections on Healing, Self-Compassion, and Endurance#widowhoodjourney #griefsupport #emotionalresilience #childbereavement #suddenloss #mentalhealthafterloss #parentingthroughgrief #careeraftertragedy #griefandhealing #traumaticloss

By conducting interviews behind closed doors, they are shielding these high profile deep state operatives instead of exposing them. This week on The Veterinary Viewfinder, hosts Dr. Ernie Ward and Beckie Mossor, MPA, RVT, tackle one of the most urgent and unsettling issues facing veterinary professionals: the growing instability in the profession driven by corporate layoffs, clinic closures, and public scrutiny. They discuss the recent, abrupt shutdown of My Pets Wellness clinics across multiple U.S. states, leaving veterinary teams and pet owners stunned and unemployed. Adding fuel to the fire is a recent BBC investigative report examining rising veterinary fees in the UK, with claims that corporate-owned practices are pressuring veterinarians to upsell services and prioritize profits. These revelations have sparked renewed global concerns about how corporate influence is affecting client trust, team morale, and the future of veterinary care. Whether you're a veterinarian, veterinary technician, or practice manager, this episode explores how these economic and ethical pressures may impact hiring, compensation, burnout, and even the decision to stay in the profession.

She cherishes her MacPherson memories and reflects on her rough start to politics. Synopsis: The Usual Place host Natasha Ann Zachariah hunts for new perspectives on issues that matter to young people. In the lead-up to the expected general election that must be held by November 2025, Natasha looks at how MPs, and others involved, are preparing themselves. MacPherson MP Tin Pei Ling was PAP’s youngest candidate at 27 years old during the 2011 General Election when she was put in the spotlight – remember the Kate Spade bag episode? – it’s never quite left her. Since then, she has had, arguably, one of the most closely watched political journeys among MPs. From her pregnancies to career moves, she has drawn much public and media attention. In this episode, Ms Tin, 41, tells Natasha about how she deals with hate comments, her perceived job-hopping in the past few years, and why she hopes to be the MP for her current ward for a long time to come. And given the current geopolitical climate, she makes a case to young voters why her party would be the best choice now. In this episode, I sit down with Amanda Luxon. Amanda is a former teacher, Myers-Briggs coach, lifelong learner – and yes, the ‘First Lady’ of New Zealand. Our conversation isn’t about politics (though it inevitably comes up), but about difference, understanding, and friendship – because even though in many ways we’re chalk and cheese, we’ve been friends for years. We first connected over our shared passion for fighting human trafficking, but on a long summer walk earlier this year, we found language for just how differently we see the world – and how fascinating and enriching that can be. Amanda shares her deep love of the Myers-Briggs personality typing framework, which has helped her understand her own strengths as an ISTJ, and helped her see me, an ENFP, with more clarity and appreciation. There’s humour, honesty, and a whole lot of heart in this kōrero as we explore how personality differences play out in parenting, partnership, and even public life – and how making space for our differences can bring us closer. (AURN News) — The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is now publishing federal payment information online, allowing Americans to track how government funds are being spent, according to the department's website. "Consistent with President Trump's Cost Efficiency Initiative, DOGE will begin posting payments to show the public how taxpayer funds are actually being distributed on a daily basis," the website states. The initial phase focuses on grant payments issued by the Program Support Center, which distributes approximately $215 billion annually. DOGE plans to expand this transparency initiative to all payment systems over time, noting that the current version is in beta testing and that errors will be "quickly fixed." The website also indicates a significant change in accountability requirements: "Previously, payments were often made without descriptions, receipts, or invoices; starting soon, a now-mandatory 'brief, written justification … submitted by the agency employee who approved the payment' will be posted here." DOGE clarifies its role in this process, stating, "The payments listed here have been approved by the applicable agency and funds have been disbursed; DOGE has not approved nor disapproved any of these payments." The department has recently focused attention on Social Security Administration records. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, DOGE reported: "For the past two weeks, @SocialSecurity has begun a major cleanup of their records. Approximately 3.2 million numberholders, all listed age 120+, have now been marked as deceased. More work still to be done." DOGE, which is led by Elon Musk, was established as part of the Trump administration's government efficiency efforts. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Like the North Star in navigation, which serves as a constant point of reference, this "why" offers direction and clarity in decision-making. It's the deeper reason behind actions, going beyond goals and tasks, to the fundamental belief or value that inspires and sustains effort. Discovering your "North Star of Why" ensures you stay aligned with your true purpose, helping you navigate challenges and stay focused on what matters most.Adoption and the intelligence of DNAAdoption highlights the incredible intelligence embedded within our DNA, revealing how biological ties continue to shape identity, behavior, and health, even when raised in different environments. Our DNA carries ancestral information, influencing not only physical traits but also emotional and psychological patterns. While nurture plays a critical role in development, the genetic blueprint passed through generations holds its own wisdom, guiding responses to life in ways we are only beginning to understand. The interplay of adopted environments and inherited DNA showcases the powerful balance between nature and nurture in shaping who we become. Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation, forgiveness, and healing. The word roughly translates to "to make right" or "to correct an error." Traditionally, it was used by indigenous Hawaiian families and communities to resolve conflicts, heal relationships, and restore harmony.Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a Hawaiian psychologist, is known for popularizing Ho'oponopono in the West, using it to clear negative energy within himself to help heal patients, even without direct interaction.Epigenetics refers to the study of changes in gene expression or activity that do not involve alterations to the underlying DNA sequence. These changes can affect how genes are turned on or off and can be influenced by various environmental and lifestyle factors, such as diet, stress, toxins, and experiences such as trauma. In simpler terms, while your DNA is like a blueprint, epigenetics is like a set of instructions that determines how that blueprint is read and used. These instructions can be influenced by your environment and experiences, meaning that your genes are not necessarily your destiny — they can be modified in response to your surroundings, choices and events – influences that can be passed through generations.HELP US SHARE OUR MESSAGEOur resources remain free as part of our mission to aw...
