Sachsens Autoproduktion steht vor herben Einschnitten. Trotzdem soll der Freistaat, laut Ministerpräsident Kretschmer, Autoland bleiben. Er versprach Hilfe mit einem „Masterplan Südwestsachsen“. Wie soll der aussehen?

Nach gescheiterten Verhandlungen mit SPÖ und NEOS bahnt sich in Österreich eine blau-schwarze Koalition an – mit dem ersten FPÖ-Kanzler der Geschichte. Vysoká cla, která EU uvalila na čínská auta, nemusejí být jen pokus zabrzdit cunami vozidel z asijské velmoci, která jimi válcuje evropský trh. Právě naopak. Zvyšování cel totiž funguje také jako investiční pobídka. Taková, která výrobce donutí postavit fabriky přímo v Evropě a namísto dovozu auta montovat tady u nás, často s našimi lidmi, jimž dají práci, upozorňuje analytik Miroslav Zámečník v novém Hrotcastu. Jedním z příkladů je čínská automobilka BYD, která nedávno sponzorovala mistrovství Evropy ve fotbale. A to v Německu, které je evropskou automobilovou velmocí. Jenže BYD, jejíž zkratka znamená Build Your Dreams, si právě „dobytí“ výsostného německého území (fotbal a auťáky) zvolila za svou strategii pro vstup na evropský trh. Čínský výrobce už ohlásil výstavbu nové továrny v maďarském Szegedu. Odborníci upozorňují, že má v Číně velké výrobní kapacity a jeho expanze do Evropy by mohla znamenat významné investice a vytvoření nových pracovních míst. A to není něco, nad čím bychom měli ohrnovat nos. „Vysoké celní bariéry bývají často jako investiční pobídka. To je úplně přesně to, co udělali Japonci, když Honda postavila první továrnu v USA jen dva roky poté, co je Ronald Reagan donutil, aby dobrovolně omezili vývoz do Spojených států,“ zdůrazňuje Zámečník. Některé země, jako je například Maďarsko, už přijímají opatření, aby přilákaly čínské investice do automobilového průmyslu. Orbánova vláda se snaží vytvořit prostředí pro čínské investory, což by mohlo vést k výraznému posílení maďarské ekonomiky. „O Viktoru Orbánovi si můžeme myslet, co chceme, ale hloupý člověk to není. Dá se na něj použít citát od Machiavelliho: ,Když nemůžu nepřítele zničit, obejmu ho.‘ Jemu se prostě vyplatí Číňany obejmout,“ upozorňuje ekonom. Zatímco cílem Evropské unie je ekologizace dopravy, vyšší clo na čínské elektromobily by mohlo žádaný proces zpomalit. Wie bitte? Deutschland, kein Autoland? Andreas Knie diagnostiziert: Deutschland war ein Fahrradland. Ein Motorradland. Das Auto wurde für einen Österreicher erfunden, von den Amerikanern in Masse produziert, in zahlreichen anderen europäischen Ländern viel stärker verbreitet - bis Hitler kam und das Auto zum Symbol für Fortschritt und Technologie erhob. Damit begann eine nachholende Modernisierung. Erst in den 70ern im Westen und in den 90ern im Osten kam Deutschland auf das Niveau anderer Länder. Andreas Knie ist Mobilitätsforscher am Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB) und Professor für Soziologie an der TU Berlin. Er sagt: Die Nachhol-Dynamik wirkt bis heute und prägt unser irrationales Verhältnis zu Auto und Mobilität.Warum tun wir uns so schwer, eine Mobilität zu denken - oder gar zu realisieren, die nicht das Auto in den Mittelpunkt stellt? Andreas schildert, mit welchem Mindset Politik und Verwaltung Verkehr planen. Im Verkehrsministerium gibt es am Ende nur eine Wahrheit: Was fehlt, sind Straßen. Und Brücken. Und noch mehr Straßen. Denn es gibt Lücken, überall Lücken. Daher müssen wir bauen, bauen, bauen. Als wäre Mobilität wie Wasser: Es kommt, es fließt, es wird immer mehr - und da kann man auch gar nichts tun, als es immer wieder in die richtigen Bahnen zu lenken - und die Bahnen ständig zu vergrößern. Wer Fakten, Wissenschaft, Empirie dagegen hält, erntet ein beherztes „Glaube ich nicht“. Andreas' Fazit: Wir werden von Ideologen regiert.Dabei gibt es Wandel, nur eben nicht in der Politik. Die Mehrheit der Autofahrenden hat die Strecken reduziert, vor allem aus Klimaschutz-Gründen. Und wenn die CDU im Wahlkampf plakatiert: „Hände weg vom Auto!“, dann sieht Andreas die Debatte auf dem richtigen Weg. Wenn das Auto nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist, sondern begründet und verteidigt werden muss, dann kann etwas neues entstehen.Das Narrativ der Technologie Auto ist auserzählt. Freiheit und Wohlstand waren seine Themen, Vernetzung und Teilhabe. Fun fact: Die Scheidungsrate korreliert mit der Anzahl der Autos; Beweglichkeit wirkt. Das neue Narrativ der Mobilität: Autos schaden uns mehr als sie uns nützen. In einer vernetzten Mobilität der Zukunft reichen 25% der heutigen Autos, um ohne Einschränkungen mobil zu sein. Der Rest steht herum, raubt Platz, dominiert unser Bild von Straßen, Städten und Raum. In Berlin allein sind das 900.000 Fahrzeuge. Einfach überflüssig. Aber wir glauben immer noch, uns würde etwas weggenommen, wenn Parkplätze entfallen (Übersetze: Wenn wir Raum für Menschen gewinnen), Fahrspuren aufgehoben werden (Fahrradfahrende sicher unterwegs sein können), etc. Es ist ein Prozess. Und er wird dauern. Aber er ist nicht mehr aufzuhalten. In 15 Jahren, so die Einschätzung von Andreas, werden unsere Städte anders aussehen als heute. 自動駕駛, 對一般人來說是機師們駕駛飛機的方式. 一鍵按下, 舒適無限, 報紙配咖啡,輕鬆悠閒. 很多時候天氣不好無法落地, 就會聽到有乘客說 “啊是不會用自動落地嗎? 按下那個按鈕不就好了!” Autoland 自動落地真的是無敵嗎? 今天就讓我們來聊聊自動落地的使用時機與限制.

Jak krize poznamená naši ekonomiku hodnotí v pořadu Agenda viceprezident Svazu průmyslu a dopravy Radek Špicar.Mladoboleslavská automobilka Škoda Auto dnes oznámila, že musí od tohoto týdne kvůli ruské invazi na Ukrajinu omezit výrobu. Chybí jí totiž díly od dodavatelů z Ukrajiny. Podle Radka Špicara ale český Autoland nebude jediný segment, který válka zásadně postihne. „Je tu další černá labuť, ve chvíli, kdy jsme si mysleli, že už vidíme světlo na konci tunelu,“ zhodnotil současnou situaci Špicar.„Nemyslím si, že se Škodovka zavře, ale morových ran na tuto firmu už bylo mnoho. Od pandemie přes požáry u jejích dodavatelů, nedostatek čipů až po současnou situaci v Rusku a Ukrajině. Škodovka tvoří pět procent českého HDP, to se propíše i do celého českého autolandu, který tvoří 10 procent HDP,“ popisuje Špicar.Válka ale dopadne na celý průmysl. „Mysleli jsme, že se už zvedáme a průmysl bude opět tahounem celé ekonomiky, ale teď je tu další velké riziko, a to je plyn. Ten je Putinovou nejsilnější zbraní proti Západu.“ Český průmysl totiž spotřebuje 61 procent našeho dovozu plynu. Problémy s dodávkami by tak nejvíce postihly především chemický průmysl, sklárny nebo potravinářství. In the heat of World War II, John Charnley was sent from his red-brick university to the heart of aero research in the UK, the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough. In this archive recording, Sir John describes the transition into the RAE Aerodynamics Department's Flight Test Division and his work on many of the problems associated with high-speed flight, starting with work on the Gloster E.28/39 which tested Whittle's jet engine. After twelve years Sir John moved from the very fast to the very slow, when he was sent to head the RAE Blind Landing Experimental Unit. Charnley explains how he helped to move the Unit's purely military work landing V-bombers in poor conditions, to include civil applications leading to the development of the AUTOLAND system. It’s the place where the automobile was invented, and the automotive industry continues to be the basis of the region’s jobs and prosperity. However, the car of tomorrow will be quite different from that of today. How will this affect the region and its people? Are they prepared for the associated structural transformation, or is the entire region at risk of falling into decline?

In 2013, the National Transportation Safety Board told ABC News that 97 percent of the airplane fatalities that occurred didn’t happen on commercial flights, and that small planes were involved in an average of five accidents per day.Much of this goes back to a lack of pilot training, the NTSB said at the time. And it appears to be still true today, which is one of the reasons the avionics and navigation company Garmin has been developing a product that can take over in the event of an emergency and actually land an airplane with just the press of a button.It’s called Autoland, and it’s currently being demoed by the private plane company, Cirrus, to be used by anyone – even someone who’s never been on an airplane before – to land a plane if the pilot becomes incapacitated. And you’re going to love this next part – it’s actually exactly what you’re picturing: a big red button.Once the button, which resides in the airplane’s ceiling, is pressed, it activates warnings that tell those nearby to keep their hands off the controllers. The system then tracks down the nearest appropriate airport and contacts the control tower, to whom it issues a message that’s basically we’re coming in for a landing; clear the runway.Since Garmin is already in the map game, the system has cutting edge GPS that IDs everything from unusual terrain to a cell phone tower, and safety navigates around it. The system, reportedly, can even navigate around storms.Cirrus – who is calling this technology in its planes “Safe Return,” plans to integrate it as standard equipment in its single engine private jet, Vision. A Florida-based plane company, Piper, will also use it, according to CNN Business, and Garmin hopes the technology will make its way to other airplane companies.
