In this episode, I am sharing the concept of alignment and how it can sometimes feel boring or uncomfortable, especially if you're used to living in chaos. We are conditioned to gravitate towards what feels familiar, even if it's not what we truly want. Our subconscious minds often choose chaos over peace because it's what we know. I emphasize that if you find yourself repeatedly returning to unhealthy relationships or stressful situations, it's likely because they feel normal to you. Imagine what it would feel like to train and reprogram your subconscious mind to become familiar with peace instead of chaos. You can create a whole new baseline. In this episode, I share my thoughts on the concept of readiness and how it is a lie. I challenge the notion that we must feel 100% ready before starting new ventures. Drawing from personal experiences, I emphasize that readiness often results from taking the leap, not a prerequisite. I encourage listeners to reflect on their own lives and consider times when they felt prepared entirely—chances are, those moments are few and far between. I also touch on the significance of identity work, urging listeners to envision the person they aspire to be and to act as if they are already that person. By shifting our mindset and embodying the qualities of our future selves, we can break free from the constraints of waiting for readiness. I provide practical steps for listeners to visualize their goals and take immediate action, regardless of their current feelings of preparedness.
What if your greatest strength is also your biggest blind spot? That's the question we're unpacking in this fire episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast. I sat down with Craig Ballantyne—a serial entrepreneur, Wall Street Journal best-selling author, and dubbed “The World's Most Disciplined Man.” This convo isn't just about grinding harder or waking up at 4 AM. Nope. We went deep on why discipline alone can actually wreck your relationships and happiness if you're not careful. This one's for every entrepreneur out there who's chasing greatness—but wondering why it still doesn't feel like enough.Craig drops a truth bomb straight out the gate: Discipline, when left unchecked, can turn into your biggest enemy. In his book “The Dark Side of Discipline,” Craig peels back the curtain on what happens when high achievers go too hard. You're so focused on systems, habits, and routines… that you forget to be human. He knows this firsthand. Back in the day, he was killing it as a fitness expert, but behind the scenes, he was binge drinking on the weekends and battling serious anxiety. He ended up in the ER at 29, thinking he was having a heart attack. That was his wake-up call.So he started eliminating the bad habits, toxic people, and energy-draining environments—and building systems that supported true well-being.One of the most powerful moments in this episode is when Craig talks about the illusion of success. So many of us hustle hard for goals we didn't even choose. Maybe you saw a dude on Instagram with a Lambo and thought, “That's what winning looks like.” But if it costs you your peace, your relationships, or your health—is it really worth it?Craig isn't all talk—he breaks it down with tangible tactics that help you show up as your best self:✅ Elimination: Cut out what's draining you (yes, even that toxic “friend” who's always dragging you to the bar).✅ Preparation: Structure your environment for success—your willpower's not supposed to do all the work.✅ Connection: Accountability is your secret weapon. Tell someone you don't want to disappoint what you're gonna do—and when.Whether it's quitting drinking, launching your biz, or leveling up your health, public accountability can flip the switch from “I'll try” to “I did it.Look, I know how tempting it is to grind 24/7. We've been sold the idea that success means sacrificing everything now to maybe enjoy life someday. But that ain't it.You don't have to choose between success and happiness. You can Happy Hustle. And that's what this episode is all about—finding the balance between ambition and well-being.So if you're ready to stop running someone else's race and start building your own version of success (the joyful, human, connected kind)... hit play on this episode. It's a game-changer.In this episode, we cover: 00:00 The Power of Networking12:59 The Dark Side of Discipline28:21 The Illusion of Success31:07 Tactics for Personal Excellence39:44 Accountability and Connection40:32 The Dark Side of Discipline48:44 Future Pacing for a Fulfilling LifeWhat does happy Hustlin mean to you? Craig says Happy Hustling means that you are setting up yourself for a life where you can be happy. You can be happy and hustle at the same time. And most people think that they're, they're not one in the same, you can, you can have everything that you want and really live a truly great life. Locked On Cardinals - Daily Podcast On The Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals played their best game of the season in Week 17 as they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in dramatic fashion. While dropping two spots in the 2024 NFL Draft order isn't the ideal scenario, there are three takeaways from the Cardinals Week 17 win that could be fully engrained in the new foundation of the organization for years to come. Bottom line: it's much more important to have a QB1 for the future than a couple spots higher in one draft. Kyler Murray was in rare form, James Conner has hit the fountain of youth, and both Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon seem to be building something in Arizona that could change the face of the perennially losing organization forever. Too early to tell, of course, but all that can be done is position for future success. It seems as though the Arizona Cardinals are positioned for great things in the coming years. Let's discuss. When I was younger I was fixated on clocks and the passage of time. It's accurate to say it was an obsession of mine, to the point that it caused me large amounts of anxiety. It got difficult for me to tell when I was future-planning or when I was catastrophizing. On top of that, I had a constant need for sensory input. There are multiple childhood videos of me sitting on the floor, rocking back and forth. Then it was the rocking horse. Then the swing set. Then the end of my bed or a rocking chair. Always with music playing in the background. When I went away to college, I knew that the constant swinging and rocking would seem unusual, so I channeled that into activities I thought would seem more “normal”. For me, that was a lot of cardio. People used to ask me, “How do you motivate yourself to exercise so much?”. Really it was the only way I could function. Sitting still wasn't an option.I'd been a swimmer up until then, and had dabbled in running. Since running is so accessible, it was a natural transition for me; which is why I got even more involved in endurance sports in my early twenties. This led me to have an even deeper understanding of my obsession with time. When you're on the road by yourself and you know you have 10 miles to go, you have to find a way to pass the time. When you're pacing yourself, you have to think about how long something will take, how it feels in your body, what time means, and how it relates to distance and other activities that take the same length of time. When you're all alone doing some repetitive and physically strenuous activity, it naturally creates the opportunity to engage in mental play, chunking the task in to smaller chunks, reframing it to make it seem less overwhelming, reminding yourself that you already did this before and survived, you'll be able to do it again, and eventually this moment will have passed and you'll be looking back on it (hopefully appreciating that you persisted). My time obsession partially stemmed from my realization that every moment is fleeting, which can evoke both feelings of relief (if it's something you don't like to do) or sadness (if it's something you enjoy). I realized this from a young age. In episode 125 of the De Facto Leaders podcast, I share how I've used my fixation with time to reframe and persist through difficult tasks, how I've used it to manage anxiety, and how it's informed the activities I choose as a sensory outlet. In this episode, I mentioned my Time Tracking Journal, which outlines a strategy that helps kids independently complete daily tasks like academic assignments, functional tasks, or classroom routines WITHOUT arguments and constant prompting. You can sign up for the Time Tracking Journal here. I also mentioned the School of Clinical Leadership, my program for related service providers who want to take a leadership role in implementing executive functioning support. Been working on that same goal for too long? Try this hack I call Future-Pacing.

Let me start over. Eppersode Eppersode, episode number three recorded on zoom in a row. Most of my episodes of late had been recorded on the motive app while I was walking. So I'm making an effort to record on Zoom. So a perhaps I can start getting these these episodes up on the YouTube channel and people can look and smile and see my Robert Plant locks. I just showered and so so little they're a little flat right now. Go to YouTube and you can watch my look at my see my flat locks. My narcissistic go and dairy about my Robert Plant hair.Mischa Zvegintzov Anyway, this is all I just am. I'm in repurpose content mode. I'm really like yeah, I just got to be start. I've got all this content, it's time to start finding the WHO to help me distribute it out there. And so, so started doing episodes on YouTube. Wow, that's not the point of this episode.Mischa Zvegintzov The point of this episode is I wanted to tell you about I an idea that I've got and and that probably won't be done by the time this episode comes out. However, here's the idea. So along with everything that I do. All this now repurposing content that hopefully I'm in full effect with. by the time you see this. Is helping people create their webinars, long form sales videos, what I call my winfomercial. I'm going to interview people a certain way. So it'll be a super compelling interview that sells their goods and services. It's gonna be awesome, super informational, and super fun. The Winfomercial. Kinda like, kind of like on the radio, my friend who I just referenced on the previous episode, Glenn Lebar. Hopefully, Glen, you'll let me interview you. But you know, that's what they're doing, man. They're under the it doesn't matter.Mischa Zvegintzov Say my idea. So when you're doing... when people are selling from stage and selling from camera, or selling on webinars or selling in interviews. A lot of times what they're doing is they are using trial closes. I was just looking up on my if you're watching this, I was looking up on my board. I've got trial closes written down. And then I also have future paces, future pacing written down. So trial closes are where you start getting people to nod their head. Oh, yeah, yeah, yes, yes. Yes. or No? Or, or you're getting agreement or? So. That's really cool, right? Like, as you're listening to this episode, you know, and and saying, Hey, that's, wouldn't it be cool to imagine if... of course now, none of the trial closes are coming to my head. But there's lots of trial closes, but you basically are, are getting people used to saying yes, and get it helps build excitement, and they're shaking their head nodding their head, yes or no. You can also use those and then future paths to pacing as you're painting the picture of how things are going to be in the future. So my friend John Flannery, who hopefully I'm going to be able to interview is really good at the referral process. So he does sales training, trainings for for teams. For, you know, 50 60 person sales teams. So it could be divisions or small companies or divisions of medium sized companies. But anyhow, imagine if you had his scripts, right? His his referrals, that'd be really cool, right? Like, could you see yourself using those scripts? Yeah, me too, and making more money. Right? Like, imagine having the script in your hand, that if you used it, you knew you would make an extra.... you would increase your business by 25% for the year.Mischa Zvegintzov How cool is that! It's cool, right? Something you'd want to have? You're in your hands, right? And then imagine, like, how would your relationships in your family be if you had an extra 25% income? So if you're making 200,000 a year, all of a sudden you've got an extra. What is that? 75,000 or 50,000. To play with? Like, is that more vacations with your family? Is that more date nights? Get a couple cool things, shiny objects. Maybe your wife likes jewelry, you get her a cool ring. She thinks you're awesome. I don't know. Get your kid a nicer car, your teenager. Waylon and Cooper, both my kids. My sons, who at the time of this recording are 18 and 20. I give them the raggedy old truck. But perhaps if I'd had used the referral scripts I could have gotten em shiny new trucks. They'd have loved me even more.Mischa Zvegintzov That's future pacing. Cool, right? Could you see yourself using that? Yeah. That's trial closes. So make cards. I'm gonna make a card deck, a trial close card deck. And then a future pacing card deck. And then also all the other sales skills that go around from that go that go along with you know, selling this from stage. Creating your Table Rush. Like create the card decks to support that. So you can practice all the time. So that as I'm doing my episode, I've got my card deck. And I'm like, oh, yeah, try this trial close. Try this trial close. That's cool, right? Can you see what I'm saying? Like, how fun is that? That actually sounds like fun, right? Like, truly, if you have that card deck and you could practice it, or, you know, just in your daily life on the phone. You could practice the trial closes on your wife, your kids, your husband, your co workers. The police if you're speeding. Anyway, that's my idea. And then turn that into a lead magnet and offer it up. Sell them and see if I can drive some leads, create some excitement, and then help people sell. And lead them to my courses which are yet to be created but percolating in my mind. Right God? right universe?Mischa Zvegintzov Oh my gosh. I so want things to happen faster sometimes. So I have a product idea I had to sell through a “cart funnel”. There is the massive course idea. I've put all this time into learning about funnels and traffic. Mischa wants to sell and Mischa wants to sell One-To-Many. A bit on future pacing and trial closes. I actually think it's yes, it's a great idea on a product to sell in what's called a cart funnel. Anybody who's been listening to this podcast for a bit knows that I'm in embedded in the Russell Brunson ecosystem. And you create things are you have already have products to sell through a funnel. So I'm going to talk about what I'm going to sell through the cart funnel.Mischa Zvegintzov Okay, what I'm going to sell through a cart funnel, I think a better place to start is... you know, there's tons of stuff to sell on a funnel. I had come up with an idea for this, like this massive course. Right? That's, that's that is quite a ways away from even being messy enough, I feel like, too to start pre selling. But that could just be an illusion. Anyway, I really want to have something to sell through a funnel. I've spent all this time and energy and effort, learning about funnels, how to create funnels, how to sell with funnels, how to create traffic, all this sort of things. And I'm like, "I just want a product to sell quick gosh, darn it". So I came up with the future pacing card deck, and the trial clothes, card deck. And people who are familiar with sales, know that it's good to practice trial closes, like pre closing. Get the audience shaking their head, yes. It's very effective for one to many selling. So whether that's through a webinar through with live or recorded, selling from stage, sales letters, landing pages that sell that are designed to sell to the traffic coming through, whether you're selling something on a podcast. This might irritate some people as well, who were like, "I don't want to sell". "Well, I do". I do. Mischa wants to sell and Mischa wants to sell one to many. So this is for people who want to sell, they have a product or a product offering or a service. And they want to get better at selling their product to their perfect dream customer their niche customer.Mischa Zvegintzov And I've spent many many years selling a lot of the bulk of it was home loans. Wells Fargo, "A paper" home loans for people with the best credit who could provide all their income and asset documentation. Generally speaking, successful people in the business realm or in their careers or what have you. Where am I going with this? Yeah, sorry about that diversion. You know why that came to me? I was just having a conversation with a friend and the friend was getting a little irritated that I was talking about selling and closing. And, and, you know, encouraging people to buy and using strategies and tactics to do that. You And he was of the mind of... he had the more beautiful ideal of what I have to offer is so great that people will just see it and want it. And that somehow asking for the order is perhaps cheesy or not cool. And I took a pretty strong stance and was like, You know what? Like, I got my dream customer that, you know, wants help with... Want's help, and I can help them with my product with my service. So heck yes, I'm going to ask them to buy it. Encourage them to buy it in subtle and direct ways.Mischa Zvegintzov Anyhow. "Tasteful." He's all about "tasteful". It's got to be tasteful. Like, yeah, yeah, it got to be tasteful. I get it. I get it. It's just so funny to me. Anyway. So practicing trial closes, getting the audience shaking their head yes or no to you as you're talking to them, or they're reading your sales letter, or things like that is a very powerful tool. So that when you ask for the order, tastefully, of course, they're already in the mode of saying, yes, they're in agreement. And having them shake their head no can be powerful too. Because you can help them say no about things they don't want. And yes about things they do want.Mischa Zvegintzov Yeah, future pacing. future pacing is setting up the vision of the emotional state they can get to or "leave". And that's another very positive, or a very cool tactic, I think strategy, excuse me. And then tactics on how to future pace. So future pacing is the strategy. And what are some tactics within that? Literally, like, what are things that what in when would you say? And where would you say it? So my card deck that's going to help you practice future pacing, the trial closes, getting them to say yes. Or perhaps no. Know what I mean? Does that make sense? It's hilarious. As I've been talking about this, I have not been using many tactics. Right. I haven't have I? know, I didn't think so. But it's a really cool concept, correct? Yeah. Like you could see how it would work? Yeah, so you could see how, by setting a future expectation of where somebody would be that that would perhaps help them make a "yes" decision? Right? Or, you can see that hey, if I don't take advantage of using trial closes, perhaps I won't sell as much as I want to. Like not using trial closes is no good, right? Do you want to sell more? Yes. Do you want to sell less? No.Mischa Zvegintzov Anyhow, I just think like, imagine, imagine how... if you could sell just one more unit a month by employing trial closes and future paces. Like how much extra money is that for you? incrementally would that make a difference? Would that be a car payment a house payment? Or perhaps you're selling something smaller? And applying proper future pacing and trial closes? In your sales letter will help you sell 100 Extra $29 things a month. Like that's what $2,900 is that money that you want? Would that help you not pay your car payment? mortgage payment? Get your kids to private school? A couple extra sick date nights a week for your wife, so your relationship thrives. Yeah, that's pretty cool, right? Anyhow, by the time this episode goes to launch, I hope I've got a link for you to get your future pacing cards and your trial deck, your trial close card deck, your future pace card deck and or your trial close card deck. Anyway, that's my that's my inspired idea for something to sell through a funnel. And then of course, I'll let you go in sec. Then of course around that I would need to have some upsells downsells. One time offers things like that. But we'll save that for another episode. Peace out

In part four of the luck versus intention series, we are talking about future pacing. In this episode, Loral shares all about future pacing. Future pacing is planning to a detailed level that most people don’t sit down to do. Loral shares what exactly future pacing is, what you need to be doing, and how it will affect your business and life. She talks about how to start with your goal in mind and reverse engineer to be successful and meet your goals. Show Notes: [01:40] We are talking about luck and intention and how do you have both. [02:13] If you don’t have a business plan you’re not going to get anywhere. [03:43] Thomas shares about the Luck or Intention social sharing contest. [06:02] We are in part four of a five-part podcast all about luck and intention. [07:43] When you have intention, you are clear on your financial IQ, and you are clear on what you are going to create, future pacing is required. [07:55] You are going to future pace your year. [09:07] Future pacing does require a calendar. [10:09] Go out 365 days and reverse engineer your success. [12:43] Get to that core funnel and just keep repeating it. [15:15] All of you need a calendar association to your production. What do you need to start doing based on your last month’s production? [17:21] In future pacing, your calendar is number one. Put in all the revenue-producing activities first. [18:41] As the leader of your organization, future pacing is everything. [21:37] Get the leads in your funnel, pipeline them through your funnel, and get them to buy things through your funnel. [23:21] You are leading the pace of all that is coming in the future. It is a significant activity that most leaders don’t do very well. [24:48] Does everyone on your team know what you are doing? [25:42] It starts with a calendar and every broken-down task that has to be on the calendar. [27:11] You’re going to time block your day. What are all the things you need to do and how do all the things get the coverage? What is everything and how does it fit? [28:14] Future pacing is planning to a detailed level that most people don’t sit down to do. Overlay future pacing with Building, Leading, and Protecting. [30:05] Planning a month at a time is not enough. Get out further. Have your coaching planned and in your calendar. [31:41] You need goals for the month, week, and day. Notice the one thing that moves you forward every day. What is the skill and habit you need to work on? You need to have knowledge of what you are grateful for. [32:34] When you do your business plan you will start seeing strategies and tactics so your strategy is the big thing and then your tactics are everything it takes to get it done and the team it takes to get it done. [34:01] Future pacing is a reverse engineering activity. You set the goal and date and back into it with everything that needs to happen. [35:40] All eight areas of your life should be getting into the calendar. [37:29] This isn’t about filling up a busy schedule. It’s fitting in the things you want. [38:16] Projects are one thing and process is another. When you’re future pacing you are designing a process. [39:47] It is okay to park things, say no to things, and restructure things. [40:46] Get involved in the Luck or Intention social sharing contest. [41:48] Leadership is never done. It is a constant work in progress. In this Episode, we're going to take a look Future Pacing, which was a concept I brought up a few weeks ago, maybe in Episode 14 or 15, and how we can use that tool as a landlord to make our lives easier and the make things easier for our tenants. Broadly speaking, Future Pacing is a concept that coaches, speakers, etc use to get their clients or their audience to see a vision of something in the future, and then motivating someone to take consistent action to get that result. We'll talk about how we can use Future Pacing and the concept of a timeline of actions steps to set up our leasing process for 3 important parties: you, your vacating tenant and your incoming tenant.A few weeks ago, I mentioned the idea of coming up with a "30 Day Checklist" for each party listed above, and decided to do this for my own rental business. Today we're going to look at why this is important, what we can learn from a Master at Future Pacing, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and then walk through what ended up on each of my 3 checklists. If you want the Word or PDF copies for yourself, just click the Work With Me link or send me an email, and I'll send them out to you.Links from this episode:Work with MeMLK Speech: I Have a Dream (YouTube)MLK Speech: I Have Been to the Mountaintop (YouTube)Real Estate Brokerage Services: AuburnInvestmentProperties.comReal Estate Investor Coaching: BetterREI.comWebsites & Branding: EasyLandlordWebsites.com
In this episode, we'll wrap up our overview of the contracts and paperwork used in the leasing process by hitting the last 4 milestones: Renewals, Pre-Leasing, Move-Outs, and Deposit Refunds. I mean, lets be real - people are going to move out and you'll have to be ready for the transition, right? I'll introduce the concept of "Future Pacing" and how it will help your new tenants, your current tenants, and even you as a landlord. Yep, even with 20 years of experience, I've given myself some homework to do after recording this episode because we should all be on the lookout for ways to improve our business when we come across a good idea. We'll also talk about hiring a Property Manager, and what they will do - and not do - for you as part of your Management Agreement. We'll talk about what to expect when you are buying a property that is already under management, and what your options are at that time. And we'll end this section talking about how you might get stuck with a Condo Assn manager that you don't like if you aren't careful. In the Tips and Takeaways section, we'll talk about the best time to buy from a motivated seller - even in Auburn's relatively hot market. And we'll wrap up with some advice on the best times of the year to start a new lease to get the most Applicants and the highest rent - from my opinion, and how to structure your leases to give your tenants flexibility while still retaining control of the important stuff.Milestones in the Tenant Life-Cycle, as relates to contracts: (bold sections are covered in this episode)ApplicationLease + ClausesPaymentsRenew or Not?Pre-LeasingVacateDeposit RefundLinks from this episode:Work with Me"Family Truckster" Scene from "Vacation": YouTube LinkReal Estate Brokerage Services: AuburnInvestmentProperties.comReal Estate Investor Coaching: BetterREI.com

In this episode I talk about a strategy I use called "future pacing feelings" and how it helps guide me to make better choices, especially when we are under enormous pressure and stress. I also discussed how we can choose to feel in this moment and some of the key strategies I use to generate the right thoughts to make positive things happen. All too often we allow grief and feelings in the moment to dictate our choices in that moment, which fuel more poor choices. It's time we change that. It starts here. Repeating affirmations and future pacing are tools I love to use. I practice them as part of my daily routine to help me stay focused, motivated, and confident. Future pacing is a technique used to help you envision your future goals, and repeating affirmations are your daily reminders to help you get there. These two exercises can be done independently, but I have found that they work harmoniously together. Whether working alone or leading a team of people, it can get lonely, distracting and difficult navigating the waters of running a successful business. It is important to remind yourself regularly of your mission, your why, and what you need to do to get there. Building a routine of these practices might be challenging at first but I promise you, over time, it will get easier. The more you train your brain with positive affirmations and big goals the better, and more enjoyable, your hustle will become. In today's episode, I walk you through the practice of future pacing and the do's + dont's for creating your own affirmations. This episode is great for everyone. It can be used to help you scale your business, get in shape, stay motivated, and even help you live Beyond the Status Quo! Take care of yourself from the inside out, dream big, stay positive and great things will happen. In today's episode you will learn: What affirmations and future pacing are and how they are designed to help you How to create your own affirmations Techniques for future pacing Why these exercises can help you in work and life FREE Course: The 6-Figure Freelance Roadmap Related BSQ Podcasts: Tiny Gains for Massive Impact – Crafting Your Morning and Evening Routines with James Quigley How to Create a Long-Term Vision + Actionable Game Plan for Your Life Web Page: Check out my website at http://avanimiriyala.com. Any interest increasing your conversions by 56%? Susan Lassiter-Lyons did just that by making a few simple tweaks to her webinar — but her success didn’t come without a few grueling sessions of trial and error. Susan is a real estate investor turned educator/course creator who trains people how to invest in alternative and unique forms of investing. In this episode, you’ll discover what costly mistakes Susan made with her webinar, and the tweaks she made to catapult her webinar’s conversion rates. What it took to go from drastic loss to drastic grain. Episode Discussions: Why webinars convert so well versus other conversion techniques The crucial role emotion plays in the buyer’s decision How to increase conversion rates by implementing your brand’s story in your marketing Combining your hero’s journey and future pacing Should you get rid of your webinar replay sequence? Why not raising your prices is a confidence issue Learn from Susan’s $25K webinar outsourcing mistake How to improve your conversions with aspirational marketing and future pacing Writing scripts for make money online opportunities Susan’s webinar funnel versus her prospect follow up sequence [1:50] Susan's story: Started investing in the stock market in 1990 Substantial profit from call option on Unilever stock Began investing in real estate in 1994 Ran a mortgage company for 8 years that provided financing solutions for real estate investors Closed mortgage co. and private equity fund after 2008 stock market crash “What am I gonna do now?!” Now runs The Investor Insights — a training and coaching program for alternative investors. [6:48] Susan first started experimenting with webinars in 2009. [8:03] Her 1st webinar (live) was for a course - "Portfolio Loan Blueprint." Thought attendees would be able to see attendance numbers. Made her friends and family log on to the webinar. 7 attendees aside from friends and family Sold 3, made $300 "Webinars have always been one of the top two ways that I can generate revenue in my business. “-SLL [10:03] Susan crafted a webinar funnel for each of her products: Marketed directly to webinar registration page and held a live webinar. Marketed directly to opt-in page that directed to a video sales letter or long-form sales letter. Used follow-up email campaign for non-buyers. "Take that prospect follow-up sequence and stack it up against a webinar funnel. My webinar funnel outperforms that prospect follow up sequence by a factor of about 4 to 1." [11:00] Why do you think that is? Why such a dramatic change? The buzz around event marketing. Has a higher perceived value than a training video or email course. People get to know you. They get to see & hear your personality and authenticity come through. [12:54] Webinars do so well versus other forms of conversion techniques due to the comprehensive ability to learn via video or slides or audio versus reading only. [13:13] “With webinars where you teach a little bit and you inspire them and give them hope — it's like the ultimate form of content marketing."-JE [15:42] Outsourcing Oops: Susan’s highest conversion rate before outsourcing webinar creation ($25K): 11% Conversion rate for 1st webinar after outsourcing: 5.5% [16:55] Susan on her first impression of Webinar Accelerator: "I was one of those people that that said ‘Ugh, look — I've been doing this long enough. I know how to do this. I just need that software because the software will have that thing I'm missing. I don't need to go through that training because he can't tell me anything. Big mistake." [17:07] “I came across so many great nuggets going through your training and hearing your program through Webinar Accelerator that I was able to make a few simple tweaks...and get incremental pickups in conversion." [17:33] The tweaks Susan made to increase conversions: Cut webinar content in half. Incorporated more emotion by incorporating her story and Hero’s Journey. Integrated the Future Pacing technique [19:24] A confused mind doesn't buy. [20:44] The Hero’s Journey: Where did I start? Where have I gotten to? What did I learn along the way? What setbacks did I have along the way? “This was my whole journey to figure out this solution and here's where I am now as a result of that…and people want to hear that!”-SSL [23:30] Susan’s transformation with ‘Master Lease Option Method’ course: Old attendance rate (06/16): 34.6% New attendance rate (07/17): 24.3% Old earnings per registrant: $8.05 New EPR: $13.44 Total sales percentage increase: 56% [26:34] "I would never encourage getting rid of the replay sequence but it all depends on your cold market strategy."-JE [30:47] Raising your prices is a confidence issue. “Using the training from the Webinar Accelerator...it's had a significant and fast impact on my business already, so I'm really looking forward to aligning with you more in the future so that I can take it to the next level. “-SSL Connect with Susan: Theinvestorinsights.com Follow and watch a behind-the-scenes look at how I’m personally launching a brand new 6 & 7 figure product from scratch at SoldWithWebinars.com/TV Join our Facebook group at SoldWithWebinars.com/Experts
Did you make a New Year's resolution? If so, this episode may cause you to rethink your strategy. In this episode, we discuss “future-pacing” as an alternative to New Year's resolutions. Why? Well, only about 8 percent of people hold to their resolutions. I hope you're in the 8 percent, but if you're more like Bill (you'll hear in this episode about how spectacularly he flunked his New Year's resolution test) then this episode is for you. In this episode, we walk you through why so many men fail to meet their New Year's resolutions. Then, we tell how you can use the process of future-pacing to “trick” your subconscious into making the changes that will help you become you a better man. For me, future-pacing helped me find the perfect wife and build a freedom-filled business that I love. (You'll hear more in this episode about each of those.) How can future-pacing change your life?
