It's hard to believe (at the time of this recording) that it's April, and hopefully we all survived tax day and are able to get out and enjoy some of the beautiful Spring foliage that's popping up all over. On this Spring day, I've invited Lawrence Payne to join me as my guest. He is an award-winning copywriter, editor, voice actor and composer, who has worked with some of the world's most progressive companies such as Yamaha Digital Musical Instruments, Yamaha Audio, Teac, Hitachi and Brother. Many of them in his capacity as a senior copywriter at Intermart Advertising/Tokyo. He's received awards for his creative work featured in prestigious national and regional competitions and he has a reputation for excellence in technical documentation and communications. Lawrence has over 32 years of professional experience covering subjects ranging from music, cultural history, philosophy, religion, robotics, telecom and travel. Lawrence has contributed widely to consumer and trade publications, including the graphic-design journal How. As a knowledgeable musician and critic, he has written for Guitar Player magazine, served as associate editor at Music Connection magazine and studied with the Latin guitar virtuoso Jorge Strunz. He produces the YouTube channel Deep Space Theater, which features his own musical compositions. Among his recent literary efforts are the books of a Zen Buddhist abbot whose influence is spread throughout Asia to the Americas and Europe. However, with all of the aforementioned projects, the one title that's missing from Lawrence Payne's accomplishments, is as LinkedIn's Chief Cheerleader and Encourager! On any given day, you can find Lawrence reposting, commenting and encouraging others on their accomplishments. It's that kind of generosity and kindness that has brought us together to have a conversation. “Lived Through That” is the companion podcast to my book where I look at influential musicians of the 80s and 90s and where they are today. On this podcast, we'll delve deeper into a single pivotal moment in the lives of some of the artists I feature in that book, as well as other artists I love and admire. The stories they tell are open, honest, and inspiring. This week, I am excited to bring you Steve Kilbey, vocalist and founding member of the Australian band The Church. He also wrote their iconic hit, “Under The Milky Way.” His career is long and storied and we talk about a few of his pivotal moments – TEAC audio machines, heroin addiction, agism, and finding excellence in your work. You can find what Steve's up to on his web site here or on The Church's web site here. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Stāsta Rakstniecības un mūzikas muzeja audio/video krājuma glabātājs Juris Lubējs Daudzas no "Bellaccord" skaņuplatēm gājušas bojā Otrā pasaules kara laikā. Lielā mērā to nosaka materiāls, no kā izgatavoja šellaka plates. Šellakam pievienoja dabīgā šīfera pulveri, lai platēm palielinātu izturību un tās izturētu akustiskā gramofona smago roku. Diemžēl tieši šīfera daļiņas (un nevis šellaks) rada skaņuplašu šņākoņu, kuru mūsdienu aparatūra itin labi pastiprina. Lai to novērstu, tiek izmantoti speciāli skaņas filtri.

In the 1960s to 1980s, when tape recorders were in regular use, there were many people to fix them. Half a century down the line, the number who now do this has reduced for many reasons. So who's going to keep these recorders running for the next generation to enjoy? In part 1, of this two-part podcast, Iain Betson of Reel Resilience is in conversation with Rob Brinkworth and Gary Hedge, two UK based people who do just that. Jeff Epler recently contributed code to FluxEngine making it possible to write Apple II disks using a FluxEngine-compatible floppy interface, such as the prototype Adafruit Floppy board. In this demo, jepler uses a standard PC 5.25" floppy drive (TEAC model FD-55GFR) connected with the Adafruit Floppy board to write a floppy disk with a classic educational game downloaded from archive.org: Number Munchers. Previously we've demonstrated how using the Adafruit Floppy interface you can read and write disks for PC and Commodore 64, and also read disks for Mac including crunchy old 400kB and 800kB floppies, which PCs have traditionally been unable to read. Want to try your hand at Number Munchers and prove that you know what a prime number is? "NO GOLD IN CALIFORNIA" is a Loose Bruce Kerr original from 1992 and a nod to Brian Wilson & the Beach Boys, a group Bruce grew up on and whose harmonies he learned on. In 1992 the U.S. was mired in a recession in the economy and dealing with the disaster in Bosnia, ethnic cleansing, immigrants, homelessness, etc. The California of Bruce's youth and idylic songs of the 1960's seemed to be fading. With the fires raging across northern California today (Bruce lives there), the same might be said about now, nearly 30 years later. Recording on a TEAC 4-track cassette deck, Bruce played the instruments and sang the vocal parts 1 at a time, mixing down as he went. Earbuds encouraged. Loose Bruce Kerr is an irregular feature on the Dr. Demento Show and opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic back in the day. email: BKerrLaw@aol.com loosebrucekerr.com
#Tasmania #ICAST2021 #CanonR5c Another day , Another Pod! Episode 527 The peak tourism body in Tasmania wants full vaccination an entry requirement for all visitors into the state. Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania CEO Luke Martin told the ABC: “People should be required to have a vaccine before entering Tasmania.” “Other states are going that way, we've seen Europe go that way. Tassie should lead and show everyone certainty and confidence.” Mr Martin did give a specific time frame as to when we wanted to make this happen but he continued to outline his plan and its importance. “If we're going to open up our borders, we want to protect the community and our own industry and part of that should be an expectation that if you get the Tas-E-Travel pass, the no-restriction travel, then you should have been expected to have had your two shots.” ICAST 2021 , I normally do a run down video of the winners each year and unfortunately I couldn't do it with moving and other life stuff this year. But thought id just do a quick update on the winners that stood out this year for me. The biggest thing i noticed was that the past 3 years had one company take out best rods fresh and salt water-St Croix wasn't a winner this year ? Very strange. But great to see the winner of Salt water was a smaller company not one of the big boys (Bull Bay Tackle Company) Banshee Rod – Bull Bay Rod. Daiwa out gunned Shimano in both salt and fresh water this year which I think is a big win for them. Kahuna Wagons Sidekick Fishing & Beach Wagon looks like it will be a big seller. And with everything electric today and cordless the, Cutlery, Hand Pliers/Tools winner Bubba, Pro Series Cordless Electric Fillet Knife looks like a great fathers day present to save the keen fisherman. And last but not least Hummingbird finally joined the live game with their MEGA live imaging unit. The Canon EOS R5c will also receive the accessory shoe form the R3, which makes a lot of sense. C/Rumours has also been told that Canon may offer the accessory shoe as a paid upgrade for the Canon EOS R5. Although the source did say nothing was guaranteed, but Canon is actively talking about it. And with Teac making the 1st 3rd party XLR input to suit this shoe it looks to be a solid go ahead for the future of all Canon Cameras. Amon Düül II - Kismet (1978) From Wikipedia: Amon Düül began in 1967 as a radical political art commune of Munich-based artists calling themselves, in part, after the Egyptian Sun God Amon. The word Düül originally had no intended meaning. The commune attained underground popularity for its free-form musical improvisations, performed around the happenings and demonstrations of the youth movement at the time. The commune had a liberal attitude to artistic freedom, valuing enthusiasm and attitude over artistic ability, and as a result, band membership was fluid; anyone who was part of the commune could be part of the group. They issued a declaration: "We are eleven adults and two children which are gathered to make all kinds of expressions, also musical."[5] A faction within the commune was more ambitious, conventional, and musically structured than the commune society overall. This led to a split within the collective, and in September 1968 they performed at the International Essen Song Days—Germany's first underground festival—as two groups, "Amon Düül" and "Amon Düül II", at the suggestion of drummer Peter Leopold. Amon Düül engaged in exuberant open-ended experimentation that at times equaled their psychedelic rock equivalents in countries such as the USA or Brazil (e.g. [Ed: The vastly better] Os Mutantes), with a focus on political activities. The members were close to Kommune 1 in Berlin and boasted, for a time, a prominent member in the model and activist Uschi Obermaier. Amon Düül signed a contract with the firm "Metronome Records", and continued for seven years with varying degrees of success and in various guises. They wound down in 1973 after releasing four official albums (and a posthumous fifth), though all except one were recorded at the 1968 sessions for their debut. Apparently, the man responsible was producer Peter Meisel, who released the albums without the band's approval in an attempt to capitalize on the success of Amon Düül II. The LPs are these days regarded as unique, if unessential, records in the history of German rock. In contrast, their Paradieswärts Düül album featured a pastoral, folk-influenced sound. The name 'Amon Düül' was trademarked by Chris Karrer and Peter Leopold of Amon Düül II, meaning that re-issues of Amon Düül's albums required to license the name from them. Like so so so so so many acts of the day, Amon Düül started out with a pure, sincere (if unlistenable) concept and ended up doing disco. Carole King - Disco Tech (1978) And ended up doing disco! During the nadir of her career, Carole King recorded with a band named Navarro, which co-wrote this dreck. They themselves put out two albums in the later '70s and faded away. Carole King returned in the video era with a song called "City Streets" which, to my ears, sounds so trite and overproduced that it literally means nothing. Her fella at the time died shortly after this was recorded. That's him on the cover. Hello People - Future Shock (1974) Hello People - Destiny (1974) Hello People - Creego (1974) Two versions. One produced by Rundgren, and the other (somehow...better) recorded at home with fine TEAC equipment. With the rock-steady guidance of Todd Rundgren and the big break of being asked to team up with TEAC to show off the possibilities of new reel-to-reel home recording technology, it seemed like a match made in heaven. Bowie. Alice Cooper. Peter Gabriel. Mime Rock was due. Alas, it was not to be. I am the proud owner of both of these records, and I feel very, very alone. And yes, they cover "Just One Victory". From Discogs: "Recording demonstration; from microphone placing, editing, balancing, channeling, terminology, sound recording & effects. One full-length song in this recording, it was not recorded inside a Studio; instead, it was fully recorded in someone's house to demonstrate the flexibility of the TEAC multi-track tape record. Many clear examples of what it takes to record a song, all the potential obstacles that come with making a song using all analog instruments. Home recording tips; recording at home with the 3340-S multi-track tape recorder can offer many of the important elements of the studio experience without the bill. No experience required; you have the opportunity to work ideas in private and to experiment with your own sounds, and learn what you need to know at your own pace. Recording music, like making music, is fun as it is challenging." Daddy Dewdrop - Nanu Nanu (I Wanna Get Funky Wich You) (1978) His big hit was "Chick-a-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It)". This is a mawkish attempt at a cash-in. Deftly combining the Mork and Mindy zeitgeist with the Disco zeitgeist, he somehow creates something unlistenable and cheap. His website claims he wrote a song for Ringo Starr. Or that Ringo covered a song of his. That song, "I Wanna Be Santa Claus", was co-written by Mark Hudson, who was the lead singer of The Hudson Brothers, who POACA will remember as the bearded fellow on The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show, which aired on Saturday mornings, from September 7, 1974, to August 30, 1975. Chuckie Margolis!!! Ahahahah..... The brothers released "serious" albums throughout the '70s. Donny and Marie - I Want It Back (1978) From the movie Goin' Coconuts, which is a graphic retelling of the Dresden bombing. Graphic. Franki Vallli - Save Me, Save Me (1978) From the album titled, "...Is The Word". Let there be no mistake. He had lots of momentum. Pretty good shelf-life for a '60s singer. His career was revitalized in 1975 with "December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night)" and "Who Loves You". I like Frankie Valli very much. You hear his voice and you know. I think of all the crooners from back then, he deserves his revivals. It didn't hurt to have Barry Gibb behind you in 1978. In a sense, they were contemporaries from different places. And he was in "The Sopranos". If after one listen you can't tell who wrote this, you are in the wrong place. Off with you!!! Gnidrolog - Snails (1972) No one mentions Gnidrolog when they are listing good prog bands. Believe me. I was swimming in the prog for a good decade, and not one soul mentioned them. If I were to compare their two albums to any other artists, it would be Octopus-era Gentle Giant or Gong. I really like them. They didn't last long, but I think their productions were nice. Especially... Gnidrolog - Social Embarrassment (1972) Members Colin Goldring (vocals / guitar) and Stewart Goldring (guitar / vocals) went on to form Pork Dukes, and either ironically or to satisfy a hunger for, you know, the Zeitgeist, made the lyrics base and the music basic. One album and no one cared. Jay Traynor - Love Is In The Air (1978) Jay Traynor of Jay and the Americans tries to jump onto the Disco train by covering the 1977 hit by John Paul Young. Look carefully at the composers. Kitty and the Haywoods - Disco FairyLand (1978) Kitty had a long recording history as a background vocalist for such acts as Curtis Mayfield. She was also a member of The New Rotary Connection after Minnie Riperton departed Rotary Connection. Kristie and Jimmy McNichol - Hot Tunes (1978) It was "Little Darlings". Little Nell - Fever (1978) Too much cocaine will make the dancers dance to everything. Lenny McDowell - Locomotive Breath (1978) And what better way to bring another award-wanting episode to a close than to play a flute version of "Locomotive Breath".

To join our baseball and softball community for special offers and events text "baseball" to (214) 416-9771A true Texas storyteller, I sat down with Skip Johnson in his office in Norman, OK as he talks baseball, developing young men, hunting, and family. Widely regarded as one of the premier pitching coaches in the country, Skip Johnson has led the Oklahoma baseball program since June 2017. Since taking over the reins after serving one year as the Sooners’ pitching coach, he has led the Sooners to a 85-52 record in three seasons. Johnson’s influence on the program began immediately and has progressed each year. The OU pitching staffs have posted a progressively lower ERA in each of his three seasons in Norman. Oklahoma’s 3.92 team ERA in 2019 was only the seventh team ERA under 4.00 since 1980, and the first since 2015. In his first two seasons, Sooners pitchers posted two of the top five strikeout totals in program history. A total of 14 pitchers have heard their name called in the Major League Baseball Draft over the last four years. In the 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19, the Sooners compiled a 14-4 record and climbed as high as No. 9 in the national polls. In the process, OU turned in some historic performances. Dane Acker pitched Oklahoma’s first individual no-hitter since 1989 against No. 11 LSU in the Shriners College Classic, and the pitching staff combined for a Big 12-record 21 strikeouts in one game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Cade Cavalli became OU’s 10th first-round selection in the regular June Major League Baseball Draft when he was selected 22nd overall. A program-record four Sooners were drafted in the first four rounds, including all three pitchers in the weekend rotation (Cavalli, Levi Prater and Acker). Johnson coached OU to the program’s 38th NCAA Regional appearance in 2018. The Sooners posted a 38-25 record – the highest win total since 2013 – and reached the finals of the Tallahassee Regional. In the process, Oklahoma pitchers set a school record with 608 strikeouts. Outfielder Steele Walker was named a Second-Team All-American by Baseball America and the NCBWA, and pitcher Levi Prater was selected as a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball. Outfielder Kyler Murray, who went on to win the 2018 Heisman Trophy with the OU football team, was the ninth overall selection in the 2018 MLB Draft. Nine players were drafted, including five in the first 10 rounds (Walker in the second round, pitcher Jake Irvin in the fourth round, pitcher Austin Hansen in the eighth round and outfielder Cade Harris in the 10th round). Oklahoma pitchers surrendered the fewest home runs in the Big 12 Conference in 2017 and combined for 531 strikeouts to rank fourth in the league and fourth in OU single-season history. The Sooners’ 9.26 strikeouts per nine innings ranked second in the conference. As a team, OU pitchers struck out 10 or more batters on 24 occasions. Sooner pitchers combined for 17 starts of six innings or more in 2017, including the first two games of the Louisville Regional. Three Oklahoma pitchers were selected in the 2017 MLB Draft. Sooner closer JB Olson was drafted in the 10th round to extend a string of seven straight years with an Oklahoma player chosen in the first 10 rounds. OU saw starter Devon Perez and reliever Vincenzo Aiello selected on day three of the draft. Prior to coming to Oklahoma, Johnson spent a 25-year coaching career in the state of Texas, including the most recent 10 years as an assistant and associate head coach at the University of Texas. Johnson was hired as the pitching coach at Texas for the 2007 season under Augie Garrido, who stepped down from his position as the winningest coach in college baseball in May 2016 to take on new duties in the UT athletics department. In 10 seasons, Johnson helped the Longhorns to seven NCAA Regional appearances, four Super Regionals and three College World Series appearances. During his tenure in Austin, 32 Texas pitchers were selected in the MLB Draft, including 14 in the first 10 rounds and three first-round picks. Johnson also oversaw the development of six Longhorn pitchers who have made it to the big leagues. The Texas pitching staff produced a team earned run average below 3.00 on five occasions and struck out better than 7.5 per-nine-innings in five of his last eight seasons. As Texas reached its second CWS with Johnson on staff in 2011, his pitchers led the Big 12 in ERA (2.35), batting average against (.198) and strikeouts per nine innings (8.28). Prior to his time in Austin, Johnson was the head coach for 13 years at Navarro College of the NJCAA’s Texas Eastern Athletic Conference. From 1994-2006, he guided the Bulldogs to 13 NJCAA Regionals, nine TEAC championships and four regional titles while compiling 450 wins. Johnson has mentored a number of players outside of those he has coached at OU, UT and Navarro, regularly working with three-time Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Homer Bailey of the Kansas Oakland Athletics and Chris Davis of the Baltimore Orioles, among others. A standout baseball player at Denton High School, Johnson began his collegiate playing career at Ranger (Texas) College. After a two-year career there, Johnson moved on to play baseball at the University of North Texas in 1988 before the school dropped its baseball program. He completed his collegiate playing career at UT-Pan American, lettering for the Broncs in 1989 and receiving his bachelor’s degree in 1990. Johnson earned a master’s degree in education from UT-Tyler in 1993. A native of Denton, Texas, Johnson and his wife, Cathy, have two sons, Tyler and Garrett. For more information about D-BAT and to find a location near you https://dbat.net/To join our baseball and softball community for special offers and events text "baseball" to (214) 416-9771For comments, suggestions, or to be considered a guest on the show please email john@behindthedishmedia.com

"GORBY" (audio mp3) is Loose Bruce Kerr's original satire/parody from 1990 on the occasion of the about-to-disintegrate Soviet Union's premier's visit to Stanford U in California's Bay Area. Bruce lived 8 mins away so it was only logical he drove there with his guitar & tape deck around his neck playing his pre-recorded background tracks, mounted CNN's 2 story scaffold where they were beaming live to Atlanta, and sang this song about Gorby, which was then nationally broadcast at the end of the 8pm segment that evening. On the 30th anniversary of the then-thawing relationship between the US the Soviet Union's Mikhail Gorbachev, Bruce wrote and recorded this song on his 4-track TEAC cassette deck, then sang and played it live at his gigs with the background tracks added behind him. Loose Bruce Kerr is from Waukesha, Wisconsin, home to multitrack & guitar inventor, Les Paul, and now lives in northern California. After a 20 year music and performing career (he opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic), Bruce resumed his law career he had earlier dropped and eventually became Assistant General Counsel of Sun Microsystems. He now is a lawyer working at Oracle which acquired Sun in 2010. email: BKerrLaw@aol.com visit: loosebrucekerr.com (free download of videos & audio mp3's) songs and videos also on youtube.com (video of Gorby live at Stanford U that day is at: https://youtu.be/JBVjmoeSFKU low res live audio)

"OLDSTOCK" is Loose Bruce Kerr's song parody, released upon the 20 anniversary of WOODSTOCK in 1989, now re-released upon the 50th. If we thought we were old with this parody 20 years after, well now in 2019 with the 50th, yeeesh! Based on Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock," also as versioned by CSNY which is the arrangement Bruce used here, this is Bruce's take from his 4-track TEAC cassette recorder out of his garage in 1989, having overdubbed & mixed down to get all the parts. The song was heard nationally on AM and syndicated radio shows like Dr. Demento, Jim Bohannon Show, and several newcasts covering the anniversary. Earbuds encouraged. Enjoy! Loose Bruce Kerr is a nationally-known song parodist & songwriter (Dr. Demento Show; Jim Bohannon Show). Back in the day, Bruce opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic. Bruce records his songs in his garage live, adding background vocals & instruments he plays. In 1989 when he did "OLDSTOCK" Bruce was recording on a TEAC 4 track cassette deck, overdubbing till he got all the instruments & vocals added to the mix. He is currently an attorney working at Oracle in northern California. email: BKerrLaw@aol.com free mp3 and mp4 downloads of audio & video at loosebrucekerr.com
"Y2K" (AUDIO 1999), song parody to the tune of "YMCA" by the Village People. A song which Loose Bruce Kerr's employer, Sun Microsystems, turned into a parody music video (re-releasing in September, 2019!). This tune made the Dr. Demento "Funny 5" in 1999. Earbuds encouraged. Robert Berry has managed to survive in the treacherous minefield that is the music business and flourished as a performer, songwriter and producer. It seems he's done it all. While he may be best known as the vocalist/bass player in the ELP spinoff, 3, with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer, Berry impressive list of credits include a stint fronting Ambrosia, and long running affiliations with Alliance, December People, and the Greg Kihn Band. Berry has released 5 solo albums, contributed to a number of high-profile tribute albums and has an impressive track record in the studio. He grew up in a musical family in what would become Northern California’s Silicon Valley. It didn’t take long before he appropriated a Vox Continental organ from his father’s music store. By the time he was a freshman in high school, his group had released a single that went on to become a regional favorite. Although he denies it, according to his school mates, Berry was known as his school’s first full-fledged rock star. His bands became solid fixtures on the Bay Area college and club circuit, where they worked constantly. It was during this period that his interest in multi-track recording blossomed. Legend has it, Berry somehow finagled the very first Teac four-track recorder to arrive in the valley. It wasn’t long before he had written and recorded an experimental twenty-two song ‘rock opera’. As his quest for knowledge grew he managed to snag a part-time position as ‘assistant everything’ person at a busy San Jose recording studio. By the time he was a senior in high school he had acquired a reputation as a solid performer and in-demand studio musician. 2016 was a big year for Robert Berry as he met with pal Keith Emerson in Los Angeles to discuss a 30th anniversary release of the long awaited follow up to the debut 3 album. If that wasn’t enough, he co-wrote 11 all new songs, produced and played Rekihndled, the Greg Kihn Band's first studio album in over 20 years. The year 2017 was noteworthy for some major efforts. Early in the years, Berry, on bass and lead vocals joined with Terry Brock (GIANT, STRANGEWAYS) on lead vocals, Gary Pihl (BOSTON, SAMMY HAGAR, ALLIANCE) on guitar, and Matt Starr (ACE FREHLEY, MR. BIG) on drums, to form ALL 41. They release the band's debut album, "World's Best Hope". Simultaneously, he mounted a dedicated effort to complete his collaboration with Keith Emerson on the long awaited 3 follow up. That album, which took shape in 2016, was nearly shattered with the news of Keith Emerson tragic death. Ultimately and as a tribute to the friendship of Emerson and Berry, it somewhat painfully got back on track and is set for a summer of 2018 release date as 3.2 – The Rules Have Changed on Frontiers Music SRL. Exam Wrappers aka Error Analysis Exercises Resources: https://www.duq.edu/about/centers-and-institutes/center-for-teaching-excellence/teaching-and-learning/exam-wrappers https://www.cmu.edu/teaching/designteach/teach/examwrappers/ https://www.facultyfocus.com/articles/teaching-professor-blog/strategy-work-look-exam-wrappers/ https://teachingcommons.stanford.edu/teaching-talk/exam-wrappers Why: When students receive back a graded exam, they often focus on the single number/grade earned. While this focus is understandable, it can lead students to miss out on learning opportunities: identifying their own individual areas of strength and weakness to guide further study; reflecting on their preparation time and study strategies; characterizing the nature of their mistakes to find any recurring patterns that could be addressed. What: short handouts that students complete when an exam is returned to them. These exam wrappers direct students to review their performance and adapt their future studying. These exam wrappers may be the answer for students who need direction to help them improve their exam scores but aren’t sure where to start. 3 main questions to ask: study skills used to prepare; types of mistakes they made on the exam; and what modifications might improve their performance on the next test. We’ll break down the purpose of each question. Question 1: Study skills used to prepare Allows for reflection on what the student did right while studying and what they can improve on for next time. For example, if they write down that they crammed for the test, studied minimally, or studied concepts but not more specific problems, for example, they will begin to associate this method of studying with their presumably lower test grade. Alternatively, good study practices will support a higher test grade and let the student know they are studying optimally. Question 2: Types of mistakes made on the exam Self-analysis of which problems they answered incorrectly. Do they notice a trend with a certain concept or type of problem? Are any of the problems they had trouble with due to a possible lack of/inefficient method of studying? If so, they can look back to Question 1 and see where they might have fallen short in their studying habits (or lack thereof). Question 3: Changes to improve performance on the next exam Possible connections between how they study and what they had trouble with. If, through the prior two questions, they have found a trend (such as not studying a concept enough and subsequently missing most problems related to that concept on the test), the student knows how to direct their studying for the next exam. When: Students prepare for and take the exam using their typical study strategies. Instructors hand out the exam wrappers alongside the exam results and class time (probably only approximately 10 minutes) is devoted to filling them out. The instructor collects the exam wrappers. This step is necessary for a variety of reasons: if the instructor is making them an assignment, he/she needs to keep track of who has completed them. Additionally, collecting them and analyzing the students’ responses gives the instructional team a sense of strengths and weaknesses. To me, collection of the exam wrappers may depend on the class size and setting. At the time when students should begin studying for the next exam, the instructor returns the completed exam wrappers (from the previous exam) to students so they can revisit their responses. Another option is to give students a few minutes to reread their exam wrappers and then take a few minutes for students to share effective study strategies. How: Sample questions for an exam wrapper: Approximately how much time did you spend preparing for this exam? ______ Find full episode content and resources available at www.twopillspodcast.com

For several days not that long ago, Jordan Reid's site, ramshackleglam.com, did not belong to her. She got it back, but only after the involvement of fifty or so employees of six different companies, middle-of-the-night conferences with lawyers, FBI intervention, and what amounted to a massive sting operation. Here's her story. Written by Jordan Reid: https://twitter.com/ramshackleglam Read by Abbey Rennemeyer: https://twitter.com/abbeyrenn Original article: https://fcc.im/2EA3OjL Learn to code for free at: https://www.freecodecamp.org Intro music by Vangough: https://fcc.im/2APOG02 Transcript: For several days not so long ago, RamshackleGlam.com — the domain name that I have owned and operated since March of 2010 — did not belong to me, but rather to a man who goes by the name “bahbouh” on an auction website called Flippa, and who was attempting to sell off the site to the highest bidder (with a “Buy It Now” price of $30,000.00). He promised the winner my traffic, my files, and my data, and suggested that I was available “for hire” to continue writing posts (alternatively, he was willing to provide the winner with “high-quality articles” and “SEO advice” to maintain the site’s traffic post-sale). I learned that my site was stolen on a Saturday. Three days later I had it back, but only after the involvement of fifty or so employees of six different companies, middle-of-the-night conferences with lawyers, FBI intervention, and what amounted to a sting operation that probably should have starred Sandra Bullock instead of…well…me. Of course I’ve heard of identity theft, and of cyber hacking, but honestly, my attitude towards these things was very much “it could never happen to me.” And even if it did…I didn’t exactly understand why it was such a huge deal. Couldn’t you just explain to people what had happened, prove who you were, and sort it all out? We live in such a highly documented world, it seemed completely impossible to me that someone could actually get away with pretending to be someone else with any real consequences beyond a few phone calls and some irritation. It’s much, much worse — more threatening, more upsetting, and more difficult (if not impossible) to fix — than I’d ever imagined. I found out about the hacking from my father. His friend Anthony (who runs a web development and consulting company called ThoughtBox) had been surfing around on Flippa and had — in an impossibly lucky coincidence — noticed that my site was up for auction, with what appeared to be a highly suspicious listing. Suddenly, I remembered the email I had gotten the day before — an email that I had disregarded as spam — from someone “interested in the purchase” of my “weblog.” I remembered the notification from YouTube that someone had accessed my account from a different location — a notification I had ignored, assuming that I had logged in on a mobile device or that my husband had accidentally logged into my account instead of his own. But even after I saw the listing, I didn’t panic: this seemed like something that could be fixed with a couple of emails. Except the auction site was located in Australia and didn’t appear to have a phone number, and when I sent an email with a scanned ID and proof of ownership what I got back was a form letter. And when I called HostMonster, the site I pay to operate my website, I discovered that I was no longer the owner of my site: someone had used their email confirmation system to authorize the transfer of my domain name into a private account at GoDaddy (another web registrar service of whom I’m also a client). Why is this a big deal? If you have a business that depends on a URL, you understand why this was such upsetting news: With control over my website’s domain name, a hacker would be able to take the site down, or redirect it elsewhere. Further, it was later verified that the hacker had control over all of the site’s content, as well; he could have just rerouted everything I’ve ever written to any location he wanted. Ramshackle Glam may be “just” a lifestyle blog about things like parenting and fashion and decor…but it’s also a site that I’ve spent five years of my life building, and the idea of it falling into the hands of someone with malicious intent was heartbreaking. I could switch to a new URL and export a copy of my content (which I do back up), but that would result in the loss of a substantial amount of traffic. The website is my primary source of income, and with a house, two children, a book coming out, and a husband in business school, this was not a joke. The loss of my URL had the potential to be devastating for my business and for my family in a very real way. So what did I do? The events of the next few days were complicated, so rather than go through them chronologically I’m going to explain how each path I took ended up panning out (I’m going into detail so that I can be as much help as possible to anyone who goes through this themselves). 1. I tried to resolve the situation directly with GoDaddy and HostMonster. This did not work. From Sunday through Tuesday, I spent most of the day (and much of the night) on the phone with GoDaddy, HostMonster, or both at the same time, and nearly every person I spoke with gave me the same response: “Sorry, can’t help you.” HostMonster maintained that because they no longer controlled the domain name, there was nothing they could do. GoDaddy maintained that because the account was private and the person had obtained ownership of the domain through a transfer from HostMonster, there was nothing they could do. What finally made a difference: I cited ICANN’s policy on Domain Name Dispute Resolution.* This got my case upgraded, but it did not result in action. Here’s why: the legal department at HostMonster informed me that in order for them to initiate a transfer dispute that would result in GoDaddy releasing the domain back to me, their “internal investigation” would have to turn up evidence that they had done something wrong in releasing the site. In other words, they would have to admit that they had screwed up…which would in turn open them up to a lawsuit. Needless to say, I never heard from the legal department again. Despite the fact that everyone seemed clear on the fact that I owned my website and that it had been transferred without my authorization, nothing was going to be done unless I initiated a time-consuming and costly lawsuit that, in any case, would not result in action quick enough to save my domain name from being sold. So that avenue came to an end. 2. I called the FBI. This was a major step in the right direction. The morning after I found out about the unauthorized transfer, I also called the FBI. I felt silly and dramatic making the phone call, but the reality is that this is an international cyber crime issue, and that’s FBI territory. And this is my business. It’s how I support my family, and it may be a “small matter” in the grand scheme of things, but it is not a small matter to me. And let me tell you: of all the surprises I’ve had over the past week or so, most surprising of all has been the FBI. They responded immediately, with follow-up phone calls and emails, an in-person interview with two special agents at my own home within 24 hours, and a follow-up visit from two agents yesterday. Beyond that, each and every agent I have interacted with over the past week has been, without fail, compassionate, thoughtful, invested, respectful, and committed to action…in addition to treating me not like a case number, but like a human. What I expected was to leave a message with a general mailbox and at some point receive a form letter; I certainly did not expect to see an active investigation opened immediately. I’m not going to write more about the investigation because it’s still ongoing (although I did ask for and receive permission to write about this), but I think it’s important to say how absolutely blown away I have been by the FBI’s response. 3. I tried to regain control by dealing directly with the “seller”. This worked, but not without considerable drama. While all of the above was going on, I was also working to regain control over the site directly from the individual who was trying to sell it. I didn’t want to contact the “seller” directly, because I felt that if he thought the “real” owner of the site was aware of the sale, he would try to extort more money. So I asked Anthony — the person who had found the original listing, and who had an active account with a positive history on Flippa — to DM “bahbouh” to see if he was interested in a “private sale”. After some back-and-forth we reached an agreement, and it was decided that a third-party money-transfer website (Escrow.com) would be used to make the sale: the money would only be released to the seller upon confirmation that the domain name had been transferred. This appeared to be going smoothly until Tuesday night, when the seller suddenly demanded that the funds be released immediately (prior to receipt of the website). When we pushed back, he announced that he was selling it to someone else: “Sorry, bye.” So here was my thought process: if we did not release the money to the seller, we were guaranteed to not get the website. If we did release the money to him, there was a possibility that he would take the money and run, and also a possibility that he would deliver the site as promised. It wasn’t a gamble I wanted to take…but I didn’t see any option. And so I authorized the wire transfer. I spent twenty minutes sitting in front of the dummy GoDaddy account I had created to receive the domain name from the seller, waiting to see whether I was out thousands of dollars and a domain name, or just thousands of dollars. And then it came through. I immediately transferred the domain into a different account and placed it (and all of my other domain names) on what amounted to lockdown. And then I called the wire transfer company and placed a stop on the payment. The end result RamshackleGlam.com is back in my possession, thanks to a number of people who dedicated hours (in some cases days) out of their lives to doing whatever they could to help me. My other accounts — bank accounts, et cetera — have been secured. I don’t have my money back yet, but the man who stole my site from me doesn’t have it, either, and won’t be getting it, ever. And that’s an ending I’m pretty damn thrilled with. So why am I still angry? Of course I’m angry with the person or people who stole the site, but that’s out of my hands. The reason I’m writing this post is to let people know that this really can happen — to anyone — and to offer suggestions for how to minimize the chances that it will happen to you (below), but beyond that, I’m writing this post because this incident made me very, very angry at GoDaddy and HostMonster. And I want you to know why. No one at either company questioned my statement (supported by written proof) that the website belonged to me. No one doubted that it had been transferred without my authority. And yet I had to spend days — days during which the hacker could have done virtually anything he wanted — trying to reach one single person who was able to do anything, because the support staff and supervisors I spoke with (who had to have numbered fifty or more) were completely uninformed as to how to handle this situation beyond saying, “Jeez, that sucks. Can’t help you.” And once I reached people who could help me — who could literally make a single phone call or push a single button and return my property to me (or simply freeze it so that it could not be sold or destroyed) — they would not. They hid behind their legal departments and refused to do anything, knowing full well that their inaction would force me to either interact with and pay off a criminal, or lose an essential component of my business. And hackers know that these companies will do this. They rely on it. There is a serious problem when a criminal enterprise not only exists “despite” a company’s policies, but actually thrives as a direct result of that company’s prioritization of their own interests over the security of the clients they allegedly “protect”. Do I understand why companies like HostMonster and GoDaddy are focused on protecting themselves against lawsuits? Of course I do. But the fact is that they not only do not “help” their customers, but actively contribute to creating situations that threaten small businesses and the families that they support. And these companies know that when they stonewall clients whose property has obviously been stolen that these clients will have no other recourse than to pay off criminals or watch their businesses — sometimes their very lives — collapse. They know that by standing in the way of immediate action they create the very environment that these criminals depend upon to perpetuate their business model. And they do nothing. This has to change. My opinion, for what it’s worth Support personnel at hosting companies should be made intimately familiar with ICANN regulations involving domain disputes, and should be able to initiate a plan of action the first time a client makes them aware of a situation, not after hours and hours of repeated calls. Further, the establishment of a TEAC** should result in an immediate freeze on the account in dispute until the situation has been resolved. This should not require an admission of culpability on the part of any parties; simply an acknowledgement that a dispute exists and an awareness that while the dispute exists the domain must be held safe from sale or transfer. What you can do to reduce the chances that this will happen to you: Have a really, really good password, and change it often. Your password should not contain “real” words (and definitely not more than one real word in immediate proximity, like “whitecat” or “angrybird”), and should contain capital letters, numbers and symbols. The best passwords of all look like total nonsense. If possible, use a separate computer (an old one or a cheap one purchased for this purpose) for things like banking; if your family computer is the same one that you use for bank transactions you risk having your kids click on a bad link that results in a hacking. Turn off your computer and personal devices when they’re not in use. Have antivirus software on your computer (but remember that virus scans only catch 30–40% of viruses, so unfortunately a “clean” check doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re safe). Purchase CyberRisk Insurance (learn more about it here; it basically protects businesses from cyber attacks and data breaches. But if it does happen to you, here’s what to do: Begin taking careful notes (and screenshots) immediately. Don’t delete any emails or other information; it could all be important later on. Immediately change all of your passwords (including — but not limited to — domain registrar, website hosting, website login information, email, bank accounts, wireless home electronics, and Apple ID) according to the rules stated below. I changed mine every few hours while this situation was still up in the air, and am continuing to change them every few days for the time being. Contact the registrar(s), citing the ICANN policy below, and see if together you can arrive at a speedy resolution. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself running into dead ends. Make sure to inquire about “filters” and “rules” that may have been placed on your email (basically, any kind of device that the hackers may have placed to forward emails, et cetera). Contact appropriate law enforcement (I contacted the FBI because it appeared to be an international issue, and was at the very least an interstate issue because Escrow.com is located in California, and I’m in New York). Note: Every situation is different, and I can’t wholeheartedly recommend the steps that I took that ultimately resulted in me regaining control over my domain name largely because they involved interacting with criminals. Obviously that isn’t ideal, and can have unpredictable consequences. (Although my husband says that he would like it to be known that he thinks I’m a huge badass. While this is ordinarily very far from the truth, in this specific instance…I’ll take it.) The End. (That was long. Thanks for reading.) *ICann.Org is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is responsible for managing and coordinating the Domain Name System (DNS). ICANN’s policy on Domain Name Dispute Resolution essentially states that in the case of a domain dispute, the Losing Registrar (the registrar that maintained possession of the domain name pre-transfer, as opposed to the “Winning Registrar”, who maintains possession of the domain name post-transfer). must immediately establish a Transfer Emergency Action Contact (“TEAC“) in an effort to get the ball rolling in the direction of resolution right away). Once I had this information, my case was immediately upgraded. **TEAC: A contact that is established by ICANN and used by other registrars and ICANN if there is a need to quickly address issues with domain transfers between two registrars. The contact must respond to inquiries within four hours, though final resolution may take longer.
As an introduction to launch the show, a narrative is given by the host of what this podcast is, why we're doing it, what to expect, what NOT to expect, who the host is, and where TEAC and TASCAM are currently relative to being on-site at events. There is also a rundown of what equipment is being used by the host and some foreshadowing of episodes to come.
This week I got to play with a piece of podcasting technology I have been dying to try out since I first spotted it August of last year, the Tascam MiniStudio US-42 and US-32. Eric Larsen, Director of marketing for Tascam and TEAC, was on hand at Podfest Multimedia Expo, to display these really simple and easy to use audio recording interfaces that will help you start producing your podcast in no time. And I had to sit down to try it out and share it with you. I also share a brief overview of my experience at Podfest Multimedia Expo.
Today's teaching is taken from The Letter of Paul to the Colossians 3:10 and teaches you about renewing your mind to build your relationship with Jesus.
In this week's episode, we throw some shade at The Mummers, delve further into the garage scene of the 60's, learn to use the TEAC 3340s, and groove to The Lilac Time.
Your behavior cannot be a one time hit it and quit it movement, we must consistently be good examples of a Christian. There are no excuses to act a fool if you are in the body of Christ. You will curse yourself for being in a "get back" movement. We need to humble ourselves and actions.

"THE HOUSEHUSBAND BLUES" is one of "Loose Bruce" Kerr's early solo compositions from 1972-74. In about the summer of either '74 or '75, while returning to his hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin during his living on the road, he bumped into fellow Waukeshan, guitarist whiz, Bruce Riddeough. The result was both Bruces playing on this tune (Bruce R. on bottleneck guitar). Les Paul's multitrack recording invention had just, and finally, reached consumer level with the TEAC 4 track reel-to-reel recorder, allowing Bruce K. to harmonize with himself, and add drums & bass. The song deals with the then-current loosening of parents playing traditional, defined roles...at a time when fathers were starting to take on some of the traditional wife's roles in raising kids, including inheriting some of the same downsides that can accompany those duties.
"Woke Up in Love" (AUDIO) is a Loose Bruce Kerr original about falling in love with a girl you grew up with as a friend. The lyrics appear below. Bruce records his vocals and instruments one at a time, using a multitrack TEAC 32 track recorder, multitrack recording having been invented by his co-townie from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Les Paul. Loose Bruce Kerr is a songwriter, parodist who interrupted his early law career out of law school to perform, write & travel his solo music & comedy show (also, duo, band) for 20 years, then back to law. He became Assistant General Counsel at Sun Microsystems. He's been played on the Dr. Demento Show over 140 times since 1987, most recently in 2022. Back in the day, Bruce opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic. Bruce retired from his law career but continues to write, record, and upload his video and audio tracks to youtube and his podcast: loosebrucekerr.com. He lives in northern California with his wife and their cat. email: BKerrLaw@aol.com URL: loosebrucekerr.com LYRICS: "Woke Up In Love" by Waukesha's "Loose Bruce" Kerr 1 I used to chase her round the playground Back when we were small Later on in high school I'd meet her in the hall She used to tell me 'bout her boyfriends I'd ask about girls We grew up close together In our small town world CHORUS I We were the best of friends We knew each other from way back when In all that time We never crossed that line But it changed all right It happened overnight We went to bed as friends and Woke Up In Love 2 It started out so slowly I wondered if she knew But she came right up to me And said, "Could this be true I see a new look in your eyes I hope you see in mine" I said, "This sure is crazy Love was just a matter of time" CHORUS II We were the best of friends We knew each other from way back when In all that time We never crossed that line But it changed all right It happened just last night We went to bed as friends and Woke Up In Love BRIDGE I've waited for so long For someone just beyond the rise All that time the love of my life Was right before my eyes CHORUS III We are the best of friends We know each other from way back when And all this time We never crossed that line But it changed all right In the full moonlight We went to bed as friends and Woke Up In Love I used to chase her round the playground... DJ LOLLIPOP (American DJ & Producer):"Wow!!! I can't believe how many years have gone by since this landmark medley was created. This was the second vinyl bootleg that I released. It was released in January 1983.At the time, I was spinning in Chicago at three different clubs… a straight hipster club, an elite gay club and an urban downtown club. I loved it! Each club had it’s own format/hits and very few tunes crossed over. I loved playing down-tempo funk and R&B at a huge straight/urban club on Michigan Ave, pop and disco at an intimate straight/white club on Division Street and high energy and new wave at a chic, trendy gay club on Oak Street. Back in the early 80's, the nightclubs in Chicago did not cater to mixed groups of clientele yet… but the music did start to bring diverse groups of people together. Some tunes would cross-over from one crowd to another like The Message by Grandmaster Flash which I played for months in the black club before it crossed over to white clubs, or Native Love by Divine which was a smash at the gay club before it crossed over to the straight clubs. In hindsight, the black clubs and gay clubs helped make songs pop crossovers. I kept this in mind when arranging the song order.I tried something new in this production – I used every dance hit that came out in 1982 –every single one of them. Black, white, straight, gay – any tune that made a crowd dance – regardless of it’s makeup, was included. This led to some very eclectic (and surprisingly fun) song transitions. Like the 1981 & 1987 medleys, this was all done with a pair of Technics 1200’s, a TEAC two track recorder, a razor blade and miles and miles of magnetic recording tape. When originally released on vinyl, the medley was broken up into two sections for a twelve inch record “A” and “B” side. Here they have been edited together for your non- stop enjoyment. Many of the songs in this production still pack a dance floor today – while others have faded almost into oblivion. It's a good thing they are represented here and their place in dance music history accounted for. I know you will love listening to this and I hope it bring back some great memories! For those of you too young to have experienced this in the clubs... too bad - it was an naive, adventurous, awesome time for music and probably the most memorable and magical time in my life."LOLLIPOP'S 1982 TOP TUNE MEDLEY (Side 1):Intro: Barb Walsh & Larry AndersenSexual Healing – Marvin GayeLet’s Go Dancing – Kool & The GangGenius Of Love – Tom Tom ClubThe Message – Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5Mirror Mirror – Diana RossThat Girl – Stevie WonderIllusion - ImaginationA Night To Remember – ShalamarMama Used To Say – JuniorI Can’t Go For That – Hall & OatesLoves Coming At Ya – Melba MooreDo I Do – Stevie WonderWalking On Sunshine – Rockers RevengeBody Slam – Bootsy CollinsDon’t Make Me Wait – Peech BoysTry Jah Love – Third WorldInside Out - OdysseyCircles – Atlantic StarrThis Beat Is Mine – Vicki DWork That Sucker To Death – XavierSo Fine – Howard JohnsonBoogie In Your Butt – Eddie MurphyIt’s Alright – Gino SoccioIn The Raw – WhispersShould've Been You – Gwen GuthrieCalling All Boys – The FlirtsSooner Or Later – Larry GrahamI’ll Do My Best For You Baby – Ritchie FamilyForget-Me-Nots – Patrice RushenI Specialize In Love – Sharon BrownKeep On – D TrainGlad To Know You – Chas JenkelIn The Name Of Love – Thompson TwinsSituation – YazooYou’re The One For Me – D TrainThanks To You – SinnamonThe Look Of Love – ABCLove Come Down – Evelyn KingDon’t You Want Me – Human LeagueMurphy’s Law – CheriCall Me – Skyy1999 – PrinceYou’ve Got The Power - WarCan’t Believe – Nancy MartinezLive It Up – Time BanditsTell Me That I’m Dreaming – Was (Not Was)Loopzilla – George ClintonDance Or Die – Sweet Pea AtkinsonShake It Up – Rick JamesFall Into A Trance – Jimmy RossEverybody – MadonnaKnock Me Out – Gary’s GangLove Is A Drug – Ronnie GriffithEarly In The Morning – Gap BandTime – StonePassion – The FlirtsDirty Talk – Klein & MBOFlame Thrower – J. Strong physical exertion causes an increased production of oxygen radicals in humans as well as in animals. The maximum training of race horses also causes a strong oxidative stress. The protection of the organism could be improved by the diatary intake of antioxidants and therefore oxidative stress is reduced. The aim of this study was to prove the hypothesis that through the oral supplement of the aminoacid L-glutamine, the intra-cellular concentration of the antioxidant glutathione (GSH) could be increased and the result is less oxidative stress. Glutamine serves as a substrate for glutathione-synthesis, the most important intra-cellular antioxidative system and has numerous other metabolic functions. In order to examine the protective effects of glutamine on the antioxidant status, steeple chase horses at peak training levels which are under extreme physical exertion were given a supplement of the aminoacid L-glutamine in their food. The examination were focused on an intensive training programme on the grass track on a 3000-metres distance with horses ridden at high speed and over hurdles. The horses were devided into a glutamine supplemented group (G, 20 g/100Kg for a duration of four days before and on the actual day of training) and a control group (K). The process of Glutamine concentration within the serum was defined. The parameters for observation of the antioxidant status (GSH and GSSG, TEAC, Vitamine C, Vitamine E,) and for tissue damage of liver and muscles as well as possible side effects (activities of enzymes: CK, LDH, AST, GLDH; other clinical parmeters: lactate, bilirubin, urea, creatinine, total proteins and hemogram) were determined. Four blood samples were taken from each horse within a certain period ie.: Pre-samples four days before the next grass track training (vw), samples shortly before (vT) and after (nT1) and finally 20 houres after exercise (nT2). The following results have been identified: All glutamine-supplementation was well tolerated without recognizable side effects neither in behaviour nor in hemogram. Through the supplementation of glutamine, significant increase of glutamine in the blood of the G-group was identified and therefore an increased glutamine availability for GSH-synthesis was evident (G vw: 400 ± 54µmol/l; G vT: 600 ± 80µmol/l). The parameters concerning tissue damage, like the medium activities of GLDH and LDH as well as medium concentrations of creatinine after training were higher (statistically insignificant) while the level of lactate, was as anticipated, increased. The other measured parameters (urea, total proteine, AST) were not effected by glutamine supplementation. The parameters for the observation of the antioxidative status showed higher GSH (KnT1: 803 ± 182µmol/l; GnT1: 891 ± 277µmol/l) and lower medium GSSG concentrations (K nT1: 116 ± 79µmol/l; G nT1: 101 ± 65mmol/l) in the glutamine-supplemented group. Also the values of medium TEAC (K nT1: 0,290 ± 0,048 mmol/l; G nT1: 0,321 ±0,026 mmol/l) and medium Vitamine C concentrations (K nT2: 11,23 ± 5,53µmol/l; G nT2: 13,46 ± 2,99µmol/l) were higher in the glutamine group. Even though the differences are not statistically significant, the plurality of the expected changes of the single parameters of the antioxidative status support the hypothesis of the increased GSH synthesis due to glutamine supplementation. Of practical relevance were the results of creatine kinase (CK, K nT1: 5559 ± 2484 nkat/l; G nT1: 3622 ± 627 nkat/l) which showed a significant reduction in the glutamine-supplemented group which could prove a decrease in the muscle tissue damage. It would be interesting to test the effects of glutamine in a larger number of horses under maximal exertion such as a racing situation followed by regeneration phase because this could prove the actual effects of glutamine.

So herrschten z.B. hohe Glucose- bzw.
