Right Back At Ya!

From Huddersfield to Bangkok, pop fans - are you ready for an adventure? Join Joel and David as they kick start a new ‘Discovering' series where they each pick a hidden gem of an artist from the 2000s and select 5 songs from their catalogue for a taste test! Signed to Jive Records and launched in 1999, British pop starlet Ellie Campbell looked and sounded like a ready-made pop star here for the GMTV and Smash Hits audience! Despite having no formal singing or dance training, Ellie's warm soulful tone and star quality was undeniable. The Yorkshire songstress worked with same hitmakers behind Steps (Pete Waterman, Mark Topham, Karl Twigg), launched a handful of singles - including the UK Top 30 smash ‘So Many Ways' - and even found herself performing at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras! Though she wasn't in the pop game for long, Ellie's bops are forever - and her self-titled album “Ellie” is a real gem!  Before LISA from BLACKPINK, in the 2000s, the world had Thai pop princess Tata Young. Her crossover success in Japan, India, China and across Southeast Asia was pretty much unheard of. Thanks in huge part to her fun signature banger and your new favourite bratty anthem: ‘Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy' (co-written by legendary pop songwriter Savan Kotecha, who has worked with Ariana Grande, Britney, One Direction, and Dannii Minogue).   Tata's catalogue of English tunes is top-tier, as she brings her Main Pop Girl Energy to songs that would be released in the West by Ashley Tisdale, The Cheetah Girls, Play and more. The writing credits on her three English albums read like a ‘who's who' of RBAY! royalty - Jamelia, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Samantha Jade etc.  If you're liking this ‘Discovering' concept - let Joel and David know in the comments who you'd like us to cover next!  Follow Right Back At Ya! https://www.instagram.com/rightbackpod/ https://twitter.com/rightbackpod https://www.facebook.com/rightbackpod Follow Joel https://www.instagram.com/dr_joelb/ https://twitter.com/DR_JoelB Follow David https://www.instagram.com/lovelimmy/ https://twitter.com/lovelimmy Email us rightbackpod@gmail.com

When is the last time you felt you were in the "flow state"? I've called this many things, like following the muse or intuitively connecting to your wisdom and trusting what comes next or being in meditation or simply engaging with your creativity. There are SO MANY WAYS you can tap into this "flow state" at any moment. Not to say it's easy...but it can be. It's available to you at any time. In this episode we explore the many ways we can TUNE IN to this possibility by tuning into ourselves, our bodies, the sounds we can make, the natural world we are a part of, our creativity and so much more. My guest, Christianne Wolff is an award winning celebrity trainer, TV presenter, award winning best selling author and CEO of The Body Rescue Plan and is a healer to the stars. We're finally easing into summermode this week with our last full interview of the season and this is a great one!  Proxima Parada's Nick Larson and Kevin Middlekauf have been friends since college in San Luis Obispo, CA, and have crafted a musical career together underpinned by the strong support of their fans and local community.  Now, almost ten years into this, they're on their fifth album, Second Brother, released in 2021 and their free-flowing and sun-soaked indie soul vibes feel fresh and organic as ever -- most apropos for a native-California band. While their growing fanbase had been built on hardwork and much love, in late 2022, when a video clip of their music went viral on a popular TikTok channel and earned over 30 million views, these guys were launched well beyond their expectations -- a much welcomed turn of events for any band, let alone for Nick and Kevin who love to tour, meet their fans, and connect with audiences in a live setting. With two new singles currently out, "So Many Ways to Get Downtown," and "Tunnel Through a Mountain," these ambassadors of forward motion are ready to roll through 2023 and beyond!  Come learn more about how Proxima Parada balances success while remaining true to one's self and loyal to their community on this episode of Roadcase.

John St Peeters was born in Melbourne, in 1956, to Italian-born parents, Pasqualino Lo Piccolo – a greengrocer – and Giovanna (née Basile). He grew up in Richmond with a younger sister, Josephine "Jo".  Early in his career he performed as Johnny Lo Piccolo. From the age of 11 he played piano accordion on TV talent quests, such as Brian and the Juniors, New Faces, variety shows, including In Melbourne Tonight, and at clubs in Melbourne.   John St Peeters and the Sharells were formed in 1974, as a vocal trio, with two female vocalists, Niki Nicholls and Kim Julin. They performed "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" on the Ernie Sigley Show in May 1975. They toured Australia, North America and South-East Asia before issuing a single, "Take Me if You Want Me", in October on the Astor label. He resumed his solo career in 1976 with a disco-based single, "You Know that You're Sexy", in November of that year.   Peeters signed with EMI Records, which issued his next three singles, "Shiny Side Up" (June 1977), "Fadin' Away" (October) and "Love the Way You Move" (December):  At the King of Pop Awards of 1977 St Peeters won Most Popular New Talent. In the following year his contract was taken up by RCA Records. He released his next single, "Deep Inside of Me", co-written by Peeters and Aldo Lennard,  He followed with his debut album, So Many Ways (1978), produced by Spencer Lee. In 1979 he formed the John St Peeters Band and toured the Australia club circuit.  He appeared on teen pop music TV show, Countdown, from 1976, he co-hosted an episode in June 1978. He later reflected "The biggest thrill of all, though, was making it on the biggest television music show that existed during those years — Countdown, hosted by Molly Meldrum. What a fantastic experience that was." He premiered his single, "Wonder World", on the show in March 1980; it is the theme song for Simon Townsend's Wonder World, a children's variety TV series.

IT IS THE FIRST FREEDOM!The first freedom of the First Amendment to the greatest document ever created by mankind, the American Constitution! So many think that RELIGION in the First Amendment is all about the FREEDOM of religion. Actually, there are two parts, very significant parts to this most important, constitutionally prioritized freedom of religion. The first is the matter of:         ESTABLISHMENT.Congress, these precious First Amendment words say so clearly, “shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” In short, Congress cannot engage in legislation, cannot create any law or part thereof which in any way establishes, orders or legally requires a religion OR ANY PART THEREOF! Nothing Congress, House and Senate, NOTHING! Hands off you 535 elected Representatives of WE THE PEOPLE, STAY OUT OF RELIGION ALTOGETHER! But inevitably, the Congress does in fact get involved and makes laws, direct or indirect, in whole or in part. For example, the Catholic Church and much of the Christian church generally is against the use of contraceptives and in fact birth control. But Congress, in the form of the nefarious OBAMACARE required full coverage of contraceptives by all as any form of insurance, health or medical was formulated. THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, determined to protect Catholic rights, rituals and principles fought the Congress, and then President Barack Hussein Obama, the author of Obamacare, accusing them of meddling with religious doctrine and principle, and establishing the demand that contraceptives and birth control be covered by insurance. In that limited but important way, Congress made a law which established the religious principle and as such, clearly violated the Constitution, so said the Little Sisters of the Poor. The Supreme Court agreed! But there is more to come as the two sides battle, the aggressive, angry, anti–religionists on the one hand and those who unabashedly stand for what they honestly believe is a sincere and vitally important religious principle. This aggressive, Democrat – progressive controlled Congress, House and Senate will begin, in the next four years to trample upon religious rights and freedoms and establish as much secularity as possible. Don't let them do it my fellow Americans, DON'T LET THEM DO IT! In their maniacal attempt to do away with as much religion as possible, as a critical part of the new CANCEL CULTURE secular movement, you can be sure that this Congress, aided and abetted by their President will do as much as is constitutionally possible to:         PROHIBIT THE FREE EXERCISE OF RELIGIONand that is the second part of the protections which the First Amendment and our beloved Constitution granted unequivocally and unconditionally to us WE THE PEOPLE in that First Amendment. Obama, when he was President, attempted to do just that. Obama and his ilk fought to interpret the FREE EXERCISE CLAUSE OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT so that what it really meant was that there would be the freedom of WORSHIP but not the broad freedom of exercise which the Founding Fathers envisioned. In short, worship and believe as you will between the four walls of a Church but not in public, not in the public square, not in the marketplace. That of course was a clear violation of the First Amendment and the right of free exercise and so, when litigated, the various courts and even the Supreme Court have found. We the believers, Christians in our case, have the right, the unbridled and unabridged right to testify to our faith anywhere at any time. We can stand on street corners and pass out tracks. We can ticket and boycott abortion clinics. We can gather together publicly for prayer and worship, and singing, and praise to our Lord, ANYWHERE, anywhere in the entire United States of America, ANYWHERE! That freedom of religion and its exercise must be unbridled, unabridged, unfettered, inviable. And only we the people can make sure that happens. This House and Senate and this President will begin to do all they can to rid the public square and eventually, our entire country of the free exercise of religion. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN MY FELLOW AMERICANS! DON'T LET IT HAPPEN.Watch for other ways in which this Congress will attempt to restrict, abridge, and otherwise negatively impact (CANCEL RELIGIOUS CULTURE) through illegal, unconstitutional legislation. There is a strong secular movement to do away with TAX EXEMPTION for religious entities, including and especially Churches. The financial health of any religious organization is built upon the fact that contributions can be made to such a ministry, tax exempt to it, and tax deductible by the giver. Watch, in the next Biden progressive four years, for legislation or legislative movement to accomplish that. Congress and the states now have political experience with so called EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS on the right to peaceably assemble, another significant part of the First Amendment freedoms. Congregation worship can be shut down or significantly reduced in size, with restrictions for social distancing and other internal church practices. A Governor, or a President, or undoubtedly a Congress can declare some state of emergency and the unlawful, unconstitutional ABRIDGEMENT of the free exercise of religion occurs. Precedent has been set by Covid. It is only the beginning. Watch for that to happen, but don't let it my fellow Christians. Do not allow that unconstitutional abridgement to happen! Stand up like John MacArthur of Grace Community Church and resist, say no to government of any kind intruding on the free exercise of religion. If you don't, IT will happen. And, HATE SPEECH. There are already movements federal, state and local to declare much of the Gospel, much of the Bible, much of the precious WORD OF GOD as hate speech. To call a person a sinner, to identify those sins in biblical terms, to testify to any need for forgiveness and repentance, should be labeled as HATE SPEECH and those atheistic, angry and aggressive anti–religionists are determined to make that happen. That will be a major factor in the shut down of religion and limitation, the abridgement of the freedom of religion in terms of testifying with respect to the doctrine in which it believes. The scripture commandment YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN is hate speech. That is hateful, accusatory, even slanderous to individuals and the very same to other religions. To claim that any religion is the only way, the only truth, and the only life as Christianity does is again hateful, hate speech to all other religions. It is the explicit aim of anti–religionists to have all such speech categorized as hate speech so that litigation can ensue both CRIMINAL AND CIVIL. It can be possible, my fellow Americans, that to believe in and testify for Jesus Christ as the Savior of the World could result in criminal charges, fines and even incarceration. It could well lead to civil lawsuits, long and costly litigation and severe financial repercussions for anyone so practicing in the FREE EXERCISE OF RELIGION. Watch for it because it will happen my fellow Christians and when it does you better stand up, stand tall, resist and stand firm upon your incredible freedoms of religion which are more than fragile under the Biden Administration. If THEY have their way, those freedoms once lost are lost forever. And then there is the Johnson Act. That prohibits Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, Iman's or any other religious leaders from taking political positions and endorsing candidates from the pulpit and within the confines and environment of the place of worship itself. That Johnson Act both restricts and eliminates the rights of religious leaders to express through freedom of speech their political views regarding candidates and issues, a clear constitutional violation. The internal Revenue Service, the IRS is authorized to pursue those religious transgressors civilly, with respect to tax exemption and deductibility on the one hand, and even in extreme cases, criminally on the other. President Trump put a halt to that but you can be certain that Biden and company will, when the time and opportunity is right, reintroduce and reinforce the Johnson Act against religious leaders and religious entities. To speak out as a Pastor, for example, against abortion and politicians who are pro abortion in any church environment would result in civil or criminal liability. Nothing intimidates free speech more, especially the exercise of religious freedoms from the pulpit itself. Don't let it happen, my fellow Americans, my fellow Christians, DON'T LET IT HAPPEN!The fight for freedom of religion, the free exercise thereof and the prevention of the establishment thereof is on like never before. This fight for us, religionists and believers is:         NON–VIOLENT!The weapons we use to resist and defend are different. They are spiritual. They are commitment and conviction. They are spirit–driven so that we who truly believe will never compromise or quit. We will fight this fight of faith with all of our spiritual might because it is our absolute, unabridged and unconditional right to do so under the First Amendment of our beloved Constitution and more importantly, because it is right to do so as commanded by the Lord of Glory, for us as Christians, Jesus Christ. The American people elected Biden, a democratic Senate and a democratic House at election which many think were fraudulent and unfair. Nonetheless, they have the power and you can be certain they will exercise that power in an aggressive, progressive, socialistic way which will in so many ways, SO MANY WAYS focus on anti–religion and the FREE EXERCISE THEREOF. Don't let it happen my fellow Americans, don't let them, our constitutional political enemies, intent upon CANCELLING CULTURE AND RELIGION, from changing those critical American principles and freedoms and your rights along with that. We the Christians are now COUNTER CULTURE. We were the culture, the majority but now, no more. We fight the fight of faith with spiritual weapons or we lose those spiritual freedoms forevermore. Don't let it happen my fellow Americans, don't let it happen, for those freedoms once lost, those precious First Amendment freedoms of religion among others once lost are:         LOST FOREVER.

So Many Ways to Make Millions ---------------------------------- One of my pet hates is that way too many people accept mediocrity in their lives. They have hopes and dreams and ambitions but over time, for many different reasons, they’ve let the little things get in their way and instead of pushing for their dreams, they’ve accepted that perhaps they can’t do it. In this episode I'm going to share some ways many people have made millions. You need money to live and survive. Without money, life can become miserable, depressing and desperate. Tamar Estine Braxton[3] (born March 17, 1977)[4] is an American singer, actress, and television personality.Braxton began her career in 1990 as a founding member of The Braxtons, an R&B singing group formed with her sisters. The Braxtons released their debut album, So Many Ways, as a trio in 1996, and disbanded shortly afterward. In 2000, she released her debut self-titled album through DreamWorks Records. Following a thirteen-year break, Braxton released her second studio album, Love and War (2013), through Epic Records, which reached the number two position on the Billboard 200 chart.[5] She later released her fourth and fifth albums, Calling All Lovers (2015) and Bluebird of Happiness (2017), respectively. Braxton has won a BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards throughout her career.[6][7][8][9] She has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards.Since 2011, Braxton has starred in the We TV reality television series Braxton Family Values alongside her mother and sisters. She also served as a co-host of the Fox Broadcasting Company syndicated daytime talk show The Real from 2013 until 2016. She has received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for her work on The Real.[10][11] In 2019, she was the winner of the second season of Celebrity Big Brother. 1977–1999: Early life and career beginnings[edit]Tamar Estine Braxton was born to Michael and Evelyn Braxton in Severn, Maryland on March 17, 1977. The youngest of the Braxtons' six children, Braxton started singing as a toddler. The Braxton children would eventually enter in their church choir, where their father Michael Braxton was a pastor. She and her sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina, signed their first record deal with Arista Records in 1989. In 1990, they released their first single, "Good Life". "Good Life" was unsuccessful only peaking at No. 79 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. At the time of the single's release, the members' age differences created a problem with marketing. Subsequently, The Braxtons were dropped from Arista Records.[citation needed]In 1991, during a showcase with L.A. Reid and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who were in the process of forming LaFace Records, Toni Braxton, minus her four sisters, was chosen and signed as the label's first female solo artist. At the time, the remaining members were told that LaFace was not looking for another girl group since it had just signed TLC.[12][13] After Toni's departure from the group, the remaining Braxtons members became backup singers for Toni's first tour, music videos, and promotional appearances. She and her sisters Traci, Towanda, and Trina were featured in the music video for Toni Braxton's third single, "Seven Whole Days", from her self-titled debut album.[citation needed]In 1993, LaFace Records A&R Vice President, Bryant Reid, signed The Braxtons to LaFace. However, the group never released an album or single for the label. When Reid moved on to work for Atlantic Records, he convinced executives at LaFace to allow him to take the group to Atlantic also.[13][14] It was reported in Vibe magazine that in 1995, Traci Braxton had left the group to pursue a career as a youth counselor.[15] However, it was not confirmed until a 2011 promotional appearance on The Mo'Nique Show, that Traci was not allowed to sign with Atlantic because of her pregnancy at the time.[16]In 1996, Tamar, Trina, and Towanda returned with a new album entitled So Many Ways, which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.[17] At the time of its release, Reid told Billboard Magazine, "I had a vision for them then that was about young sophistication with sex appeal." The trio also performed a remixed version of "So Many Ways" with rapper Jay-Z on September 9, 1996 at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.[18] So Many Ways went on to peak at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 32 on the UK Singles Chart.[19] Braxton and her fellow group members served as the opening act for Toni Braxton on the European Leg of her Secrets Tour in 1997. The Braxtons decided to part ways as a group after Braxton left to pursue a solo career with DreamWorks Records in 1998.[20]2000–2009: Tamar and label troubles[edit]Later, Braxton met Christopher "Tricky" Stewart. She recorded her solo debut album, Ridiculous, so-named for the many different musical styles on the album.[21] The album spawned two buzz singles ("Let Him Go" and "Just Cuz") in hopes of garnering attention from the public eye; however, when the songs failed to gain impact on urban radio outlets, the album was pushed back and canceled.[22] That same year, Braxton was featured on Sole's, "4 The Love of You." Instead of shelving the album, Dreamworks Records abandoned 3 old tracks, added new ones, and renamed it Tamar. The lead single "Get None" was produced by Jermaine "J.D." Dupri and also featured rap verses from him as well as former Jay-Z protégée Amil. The song also included uncredited background vocals and songwriting by R&B singer Mýa. As soon as the song began to pick up airplay, Braxton announced the album would be released in early 2000, alongside a second single, "If You Don't Wanna Love Me". The album featured production from Missy Elliott, Tim & Bob, and Tricky Stewart, but still peaked at number 127 on the Billboard 200. When the album's second single failed to gain significant radio airplay, her label dropped her from their roster. In 2001, Braxton's previously unreleased song "Try Me" appeared on the soundtrack album for the film Kingdom Come. She also began to work alongside her sister Toni Braxton in a number of songs and music video cameos, including the video for "He Wasn't Man Enough." She performed, co-wrote and sang background vocals on songs for Toni's albums, The Heat (2000), Snowflakes (2001), More than a Woman (2002), Libra (2005) and Pulse (2010). When her sister launched her Las Vegas revue Toni Braxton: Revealed, Braxton again sang backup until she was replaced by singer Sparkle.[citation needed]By 2004, Braxton was signed to Tommy Mottola's reactivated Casablanca Records and began work on her second album. A "Grindin'"-influenced single, "I'm Leaving," was released with a guest appearance from Bump J. alongside promotional remixes featuring Sheek Louch, Styles P. and Ali Vegas.2010–2013: Television debut and Love and War[edit]Braxton at the 2012 Eye on Black: Salute to DirectorsIn 2010, Braxton signed to Universal Records, where she released a single "The Heart In Me" in July of that year which was included on the Adidas 2: The Music compilation. In 2000, Braxton was briefly signed with DreamWorks Records and released her debut self-titled album, but was dropped by the label following the album's poor commercial performance.[5] Braxton reunited with her sisters for the WE TV reality series Braxton Family Values (2011–present).[6][7]Following a thirteen-year break, Braxton released her second studio album, Love and War (2013), through Epic Records.[8] The record proved to be a commercial success, receiving 3 Grammy Award nominations, including Best Contemporary Album. Braxton's third album, Calling All Lovers (2015), achieved similar success and spawned the Grammy-nominated single "If I Don't Have You". Her fourth album, Bluebird of Happiness (2017), topped the Billboard Independent chart.[9][9][10][11] She has received four Grammy Award nominations. Braxton also served as a co-host of the Fox Broadcasting Company's talk show The Real from 2013 until 2016.[12][13][14] In 2019, she was the winner of the second season of Celebrity Big Brother, becoming the first African American to ever win Big Brother in the United States.[15]Braxton has won four awards from 15 nominations, including one BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards. Tamar Estine Braxton was born to Michael and Evelyn Braxton in Severn, Maryland on March 17, 1977. The youngest of the Braxtons' six children, Tamar started singing as a toddler. The Braxton children would eventually enter in their church choir, where their father Michael Braxton was a pastor. Sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar Braxton signed their first record deal with Arista Records in 1989. At the time, the remaining members were told that LaFace was not looking for another girl group since it had just signed TLC.[22][23] After Toni's departure from the group, the remaining Braxtons members became backup singers for Toni's first tour, music videos, and promotional appearances. Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar were featured in the music video for Toni Braxton's third single, "Seven Whole Days", from her self-titled debut album.[citation needed]In 1993, LaFace Records A&R Vice President, Bryant Reid, signed The Braxtons to LaFace. However, the group never released an album or single for the label. When Reid moved on to work for Atlantic Records, he convinced executives at LaFace to allow him to take the group to Atlantic also.[23][24] It was reported in Vibe magazine that in 1995, Traci Braxton had left the group to pursue a career as a youth counselor.[25] However, it was not confirmed until a 2011 promotional appearance on The Mo'Nique Show, that Traci was not allowed to sign with Atlantic because of her pregnancy at the time.[26]In 1996, Tamar, Trina, and Towanda returned with a new album entitled So Many Ways, which peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.[27] At the time of its release, Reid told Billboard Magazine, "I had a vision for them then that was about young sophistication with sex appeal." The trio also performed a remixed version of "So Many Ways" with rapper Jay-Z on September 9, 1996 at the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.[28] So Many Ways went on to peak at No. 83 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 32 on the UK Singles Chart.[29] Braxton and her fellow The Braxtons members served as the opening act for Toni Braxton on the European Leg of her Secrets Tour in 1997. The Braxtons decided to part ways as a group after lead singer Tamar Braxton left to pursue a solo career with DreamWorks Records in 1998. In 2010, Braxton signed to Universal Records, where she released a single "The Heart In Me" in July of that year which was included on the Adidas 2: The Music compilation. Her momentum with Universal would not rise to a satisfactory level to launch a second album. In January 2010, WE tv confirmed that it had signed Braxton and her mother and sisters for a reality series, Braxton Family Values. The show debuted April 12, 2011.[37] On December 15, 2011, it was confirmed that Braxton and her husband Vincent would star in their own reality series centered on her solo career and their married life. In November 2011, Braxton performed "Love Overboard" at the 2011 Soul Train Awards for Lifetime Achievement recipient Gladys Knight.[38] In September 2012, news broke that Braxton had inked a fresh recording contract with Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records founded by Vincent.[39] Later that month, her television show Tamar & Vince premiered on WE tv. The first season features multiple scenes of Tamar recording her second album.Tamar was the featured model for the "Front Row Couture" collection during the "ELLE/Style360" NYC Fashion Week event.[40] Tamar was co-host on Tameka Cottle's late night talk show Tiny Tonight on VH1.[41] Basketball Wives star Tami Roman became a co-host after Braxton. Later Braxton hosted, The Culturelist, a show on BET's sister channel Centric. Former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett became the host after her. Braxton announced she was pregnant with her first child on March 13, 2013, during an interview on Good Morning America promoting the new season of Braxton Family Values. She gave birth to a son, Logan Vincent Herbert, on June 6, 2013.In March 2013, it was revealed that Braxton had signed to Epic Records ahead of the release of her second album, Love and War.[42] The album's lead single, the title track, was released on December 6, 2012. The song was a commercial success, spending 9 weeks at #1 on the Adult R&B Songs chart.[43] Although the single reached number one on the US iTunes chart,[44] it peaked at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[45][10] Braxton released "The One" as the second single from Love and War on May 7, 2013; it peaked at number 34 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[10] The third single, "All the Way Home," was released August 21, 2013; it peaked at number 96 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 37 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[45][10] The song was followed by the release of Love and War on September 3, 2013.[46] The album was a commercial success in the United States, selling 114,000 copies in its opening week, and debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.[47] Outside the US, it debuted at number 34 on the UK R&B Albums Chart.[48] The second season of Tamar & Vince premiered on September 5, 2013. The second season is centered on the preparation and birth of the couple's baby, and her launch of Love and War. Braxton's special Listen Up: Tamar Braxton premiered on Centric in September 2013. Braxton's first Christmas album, Winter Loversland, was released on November 11, 2013; it debuted at number 43 on the Billboard 200 with 8,000 copies sold in its first week.[8] In December 2013, Braxton received three nominations for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards; Best Urban Contemporary Album for Love and War, and Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for its title track.[49]2014–15: Calling All Lovers and The Braxtons reunion[edit]On February 25, 2014, the remix of Robin Thicke's single "For the Rest of My Life" which features Braxton, was released as a digital single.[50] Season 3 of Tamar & Vince premiered in October 2014, and it consisted of 10 episodes just like the previous seasons. HomeSchool ThinkTank! Live & Learn Your Way with Jackie Wheeler

There are So Many Ways to help your kids learn.  Let's take a look at the ways you can enhance what you are already doing to help maximize your child's education.  For more information about this podcast episode visit us at https://www.homeschoolthinktank.com/       Transcript: Education Everywhere Hi there, my name is Jackie Wheeler and I am your host of the HomeSchool ThinkTank™ Podcast. I want to say thank you so much for listening to this podcast each and every week. Now before we get started I want to invite you to join our HomeSchool ThinkTank™ Friends Group on Facebook and also go to homeschoolthinktank.com and join the waiting list so that the next time we open The HomeSchool ThinkTank™ Community which is our very own space all about homeschooling . . . so that you will receive an invitation the next time that we open our doors to new members. Alright, now let’s get started with today’s podcast. So, today we are talking about how education is everywhere. One of the top questions I get asked by parents who are considering homeschooling their kids is, "Can this really work for my family?" Well, the simple answer is, “Yes, I believe homeschooling can work for many families.” Do I think homeschooling is for every family, “No, I don’t.” I believe that if you really want to homeschool your child, you can probably find a way to do so. I think there are a lot of variables to consider and that one of the most important factors is your mindset, as the parent. I think you need to have a strong “why;” I think you have to really want to spend a lot of time with your kids; I think it really helps to have a supportive spouse and stable home. I think you need to have an, “I can do it” attitude and be a fairly resourceful person to homeschool your kids for any length of time. Can you homeschool your kids if you can’t say, “yes,” to each of these statements? Absolutely. For example, single parents can certainly homeschool their kids. Clearly though, it’s easier when you have someone helping you with the day to day tasks of running a household and raising your kids. I’m telling you though, if you have an, “I can do it” attitude and you are resourceful, I think it’s very likely that you can homeschool your kids. To get a better idea of whether homeschooling is for your family, I strongly recommend that you read my book, THINK HOMESCHOOL: Live & Learn Your Way. You can buy it on Amazon. This book really helps parents who are thinking about homeschooling their family understand if homeschooling is the right decision for their family. Now the other concern parents have is about their ability to educate their kids. Now, here is what I will tell you. There are a multitude of ways for your child to learn. Let me say this another way, there are So Many Ways for people to learn. But to really bring this home, what I want you to do right now is to take an inventory of all the ways that your children are already learning each day. Now, I know you’re not going to do this right now, but pause for 5 seconds, and let your mind begin to think of all the ways YOU learn; think of all the ways your KIDS learn. Now, our five seconds of silence is about to begin. Go. 1 . . . 2. . . 3 . . .4 . . . 5. . . Alright, now, I want you to consider the activities your children are enrolled in. For example, are your kids involved in sports, music, or theater classes? Consider the activities you are already doing as a family. Do you go to the rec center together or visit national parks each year? Maybe you visit local museums or attend local events. Do you play games on a regular basis? Think of the subscriptions that you currently have. Do your kids get a magazine like National Geographic for Kids each month? Maybe they watch documentaries on YouTube or on NetFlix. What about audiobooks? Do you go to the library each month? What homeschooling groups do you belong to? What’s the focus of those homeschooling groups? What are your kids learning by being part of those groups? Finally, what do your kids already do on their own when they are bored? What are their hobbies and interests? Do they draw, read, bake, or go outside to play? How do your children spend their free time? Next, I want you to pause and begin to consider how you could enhance the activities that you are already doing with your kids. For example, if you go to a national park each year, how could you turn that into more than a vacation? How could you prepare for the vacation? Could you learn about the history or geography of that area? Could your kids plan the trip? Could they map out the vacation? Could they figure out how much it’s going to cost? Now begin to consider this around the other things your kids do. Maybe your kid is into softball or baseball. Could they research the history of the sport? Could they write about the sport? So now, I’m going to pause for 5 seconds. I want you to begin thinking about how you could help enhance one thing that your child is already doing and make it a bit more educational. 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . 5 . . . Alright, now that you’ve done that, I want to give you one word of caution. Don’t get so overzealous about turning every little thing into more education that you take the joy out of the activity. Try to have fun with this idea. Try to spark curiosity. Don’t take the fun out of the things that your child is already interested in. Education and learning are an everyday part of our lives, and once you begin realizing how many ways there are for your children to learn, you'll start viewing life as education. You'll realize that education isn't something that just happens at school, it's happening all of the time. As a homeschooling parent, the number one way to help your children learn is to help create curiosity, help them lay a foundation that they can build on, and then teach them how to discover and utilize new information. You'll begin realizing that educational opportunities are everywhere and that you can expand upon those opportunities. Now, to really bring this home I want you to actually make a list of all the ways your children are already learning each day. Guess what? I also want you to look at your own life and see how you are learning. This might open your eyes to more ways that you can help your children learn too. The easiest way to do this is to take a look at two things. The first is your credit card statement and the second is your yearly calendar. On your credit card statement, you're going to see some charges that will remind you of what you are already doing with your kids. You'll see the fees for classes you sign them up for in the summer, fees for sports leagues, and a fee for that national park or museum you visited a few months ago. When you review your calendar, you'll also see how your family is already spending their time and how much of it is actually educational in some manner. There are so many different types of education that are in our everyday life. Think about all of the ways that you learn and that your kids learn. Think about different groups you belong to, hobbies that you have, and the ways that you connect as a family. Then make a list of how you could enhance their educational experiences around activities that you are already doing. Finally, make a list of new ideas that you may have come up with during this process. Once you’ve done this, come back to the group and share some of your ideas. The key thing here is just to raise your awareness of just how many ways there are to educate your children, how many opportunities are already in our everyday lives. When you do that, you'll begin to realize that you can continue to expand their education, and that there are a multitude of ways to help educate your children. So, the answer is yes, homeschooling can likely work for your family; and yes, you can create a thriving homeschool family; and yes, you can do this. So, what I want you to do now is go to the notes and we’ll show you where to get more information about this episode. Now, if you are thinking about homeschooling this will help you get started, and if you are already homeschooling your kids, this will help you maximize your child’s educational opportunities a bit more. Just remember to keep it fun and help create curiosity in those kiddos! Now, if you haven’t joined our HomeSchool ThinkTank Friends Group on Facebook yet, please go join that group and if you haven’t gone to https://www.homeschoolthinktank.com/ yet and joined the waiting list for The HomeSchool ThinkTank Community where everything is about homeschooling, I want you to do that too, because while we have our group on Facebook and we are on social media in other ways, we have our very own space where it is all about homeschooling. You are going to want to join this group the next time we open our group up for new members. Go to https://www.homeschoolthinktank.com/ and join the waiting list right now. Have a great week. Food waste is avoidable in SO MANY WAYS but it's not just up to the individual. Second Harvest, Canada's Largest food rescue charity is hard at work to connect farmers and distributers who have a surplus of edible, perishable foods, with the people who don't have access to fresh healthy food on a daily basis. Check out my conversation with CEO of Second Harvest Lori Nikkel about the damage food waste does to the environment, the obvious solution of taking the surplus to give to those in need, and exactly how Second Harvest accomplishes such a monumental task. 2019 Prediction I see more and more people getting into podcasting who Want to spend zero money Spend very little time on creating content Make large amounts of money - quickly My prediction is 98% of the people who get into podcasting for the SOLE reason of making money fast will quit and say podcasting does not work. This episode is to educate you with knowledge so you can make an educated decision. Keep mind, you DO NOT have to make money with your podcast. Many, many, many podcasters do it for the love of the topic. Because of My Podcast: Emily Prokop Will Be on TV 1:50 Emily Prokop from The Story Behind Podcast and EPodcast Productions has had "Because of My Podcast" Stories in the past (as she got a book deal). Now because of her podcast (which brought her a book deal), she is going to be on Inside Edition. How cool is that? Congrats Emily Update on Rode Rodecaster Pro 4:10 Last week we had three people share their insights into the Rode Rodecaster Pro, and I had not tied the unit into Skype yet. I agree when you use the phone, it sounds like, the phone. I had Jonathan Bloom from Weekly Awesome and Miss Ileane Smith join me on Ask the Podcast Coach via the wired TRRS cable, using Skype and out sounded much better. Johnathan was on Skype in his phone and Ileane was using an ATR2100 and sounded awesome. The Potential Harm of Launching Your Podcast With a Patreon 7:28 While I realize that starting to promote a patreon account the minute you start podcasting may seem like a great idea, my worry is this is another criteria (like your download stats) to gauge your process. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I want you to go into this with your eyes wide open. How Do We Get Sucked In? There are people on patreon making thousands of dollars a month. In the same way, that ice skaters, musicians, comedians, and athletes make their craft look easy, so do these podcasters. You talk into a mic, ask people for money, and watch the cash roll in. Nothing could be further from the truth How Do You Feel About PBS Pledge Drives? Think about how you feel when watching a PBS pledge drive. You’re enjoying the smooth tones of James Taylor as you reminisce about the first time you heard this song on the radio. The memories make you feel warm and then BOOM! We need some money. If you don’t have a relationship with PBS, (and found this while channel surfing) I’m going to bet these interruptions are quite annoying. Without a relationship, pledge drives make you want to change the channel (at least for me it does). So does this mean that your pledge drives in the early days of your podcast is a bad idea? I guess it all depends on how entertaining and creative you are in asking for support. Things To Consider As a New Podcaster While launching with a Patreon campaign allows you to practice your pitch, and gets your audience used to hearing your pledge drive in episodes, there are a few things to consider: You may find yourself focusing more on your Patreon rewards instead of focusing on making great content that inspires your audience to tell a friend. You can practice your pledge drive pitch in the basement. You don’t have a relationship with these your audience and yet you're asking for a favor. Unless you organized a focus group, you may not be delivering value (and yet you are asking for value in return). Your Mom is not a focus group. If you are doing great you can expect 3% of your audience to join your campaign. If you have 100 listeners this means you MIGHT get 3. According to graphtreon.com in January of 2019: 704,041 creators received a total of $1,512,275. That's a little over $2 per patron. The lack of patrons can damage your attitude and make you want to quit your podcast. If your sole reason for starting your podcast was for quickly getting money, you should stop. The Pressure of Patreon 20:20 Jordan Harbinger gave up being a lawyer to do a podcast where he interviews people and talks about communications and social dynamics. On Friday he answers questions from his audience. One other thing, Jordan gets millions of downloads for this show. A listener of his was having a hard time finding the courage to launch his content. The person was already worried about the business side of his content, and he had been sitting on it for two years. Jordan brings up a great point of the pressure of running your podcast as a business right out the door. That pressure could hinder your creativity, affect your attitude in a negative way and hinder you from creating a great show that will attract an audience. Keep in mind, no audience - no money.  With this added pressure, the podcast might not be fun. Also, keep in mind when you first start out you're not going to be as good as you will be in a few years. He brought up a great point about how easily we can talk to people we would normally be attracted when we are in a relationship. Why? No pressure. He explains that when he first started he just liked talking about it to his friends. That lead to him talking to others in bars, which lead to... being known as the Larry King of Podcasting. You can't help, serve, or entertaining anyone with your files on your hard drive. Just launch. Check out Jordan's Show at www.jordanharbinger.com and check out his level one FREE Human Dynamics course. Check out my interviews with Jordan here and here. But Shouldn't You Treat Your Podcast Like a Business? 32:50 I've had people who have businesses that sell ads in their show who treat their podcast as a business. They have to. While you are starting out, you may not be in this situation. It may be smart to plan ahead, but it is a bit like buying a crib for your future child when you are still a virgin. Most businesses the podcast is not the business. It is the part of the marketing arm of the business to promote their products. When your product is Patreon, that is fine but realize that most podcasters who are doing it for a living have multiple streams of income (products, ads, affiliate sales, live events). Also, if your podcast is not a business or promoting a business - it leads me to my next point. Shut Up and Have Fun With Your Podcast If you are doing a podcast for fun, and meet like-minded people or friend and family - then do that. Pay no attention to the podcasters chasing a buck. There are SO MANY WAYS to benefit from podcasting (see because of my podcast) and money is just ONE of them. When you compare your podcast to another it - unless it someone doing the same exact show with the exact same background, it is NEVER a fair comparison. Don't worry about the money, the downloads, new and noteworthy, Apple charts, and just HAVE FUN doing your podcast and see where it leads you. Canva Vs Snappa Graphics can help attract attention to show notes, your episodes, etc. I was working on making a new image for my YouTube channel and found Snappa. I had heard about it. I have been using Canva.com for a while. After banging my head against the wall to have my image show up correctly in YouTube, Snappa seemed to have the edge. They have more photos, and when making a YouTube channel artwork Snappa worked better. However, you typically make a YouTube Channel artwork once or twice a year. Other items I make weekly. Canva has multiple folders you can create, they make copying and resizing images easier, and while you will still probably occasionally have to pay for an image even if you are paying for their $12 a month "business" package, I found it better thought out. You can crop images while you are using them. With Snappa, you had to crop it before bringing it into your graphic (how do I know how much I need to crop it if I haven't seen it with the other items?). A Free Image Strategy Canva.com, Snappa.com, and Adobe Spark all have free versions. If you're on a tight budget and don't mind taking more time to browse through multiple portals (along with places like pixabay) you might try signing up for a free account on all three. For me, I live Canva. The offer tutorials to help you get the most out of the service. Work With Me If you're ready to start your podcast, I have multiple plans for multiple budgets. I want to help you build a successful podcast. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I also have a podcast quick start program for those who are looking to get up and running quickly and then have a brief mentorship.

Entre commercialisation de la cérémonie et institutionnalisation du mariage laïque, on assiste donc aujourd'hui à une réelle réappropriation de la pratique. Real Estate Investing Today : Real Estate Investing | Wholesaling | Flipping | Funding | Self Directed IRA | Finding Deals |

I’ve got an important announcement: the ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE may be over. At least, the foreclosure zombie apocalypse, that is. And unfortunately, it’s not necessarily good news for real estate investors. I’m Carole Ellis. I’ve got all the details on the official end of the foreclosure zombie apocalypse today, in episode 66. -- So what sounds like the best post-housing-crash news EVER that could end up being bad news for your real estate business: this formal announcement from RealtyTrac. According to the real estate data giant, vacant “zombie” foreclosures – properties that have no real owner and have been allowed to stagnate vacant on the market by lenders that started the foreclosure process but never completed it – are fading fast. In fact, the number of properties in “zombie foreclosure” has fallen by 30.1 percent over this time last year, making fewer than one in every 20 foreclosed houses an actual zombie. Why is this potentially bad news for real estate investors, and how should you start adjusting your “game” to deal with the end of this dystopian phenomenon? I’ll get to that in just a minute, but first, I want to tell you about something else that is NEW and a whole lot brighter – literally – than zombie foreclosures: a fully solar-powered community that is presently under construction in the sunny state of Florida. The development, called Babcock Ranch, will eventually be home to about 19,500 homes that are fully powered by the sun and that do NOT have solar panels. It’s a huge labor of environmentally-friendly love mixed with a healthy eye to profit, and you are going to love learning more about this self-described “town of the future.” I’ve got all the details in the News and Networking section at www.rei.today, so head on over there and check it out. Now, back to the darker, post-apocalyptic side of real estate…Okay, maybe it’s actually not quite that bad. Here’s the deal: According to RealtyTrac, fewer than one in every 20 foreclosed homes in the national housing market today is actually a ZOMBIE FORECLOSURE, and that’s a big improvement for markets all over the country that suffered some serious blight as lenders, realizing that they had a vested interest in NOT being fully responsible for the thousands and thousands of homes that they’d foreclosed on in hard-hit areas of the country during the housing crash (think Detroit, for example), opted to abandon foreclosure proceedings on those homes and just let them sit. Since in most cases the homeowners had already left, those properties basically fell apart (and sometimes right back into the ground; I visited Detroit and Flint, Michigan, in 2012 and huge portions of those cities at that time were nothing but ghost towns) and they took neighboring property values right along with them. Now that the national housing market is in  recovery mode and just about everywhere is better off than it was in the wake of the housing and financial crises, lenders are starting to go ahead and finish up the foreclosure process on those zombie properties, either cleaning them up or knocking them down and creating space for new development. Now, many real estate investors say that they feel like the end of zombie foreclosures means that they missed the boat. After all, how easy would it have been to negotiate with a bank to take a property off its hands that it clearly didn’t care about enough to finish taking ownership? Well, the reality is, it wasn’t actually that great! So don’t you DARE use this as an excuse, ladies and gentlemen! Here’s the thing: those banks couldn’t be BOTHERED with those properties. They didn’t WANT to deal with them. Now that they’re actually willing to foreclosure and throw them up on the market, they’re actually making markets more affordable and accessible in a lot of cases both to first-time homebuyers and investors. In fact, senior VP at RealtyTrac, Daren Blomquist, pointed out just last week that the death of the zombie foreclosure market in areas like Miami and New York is actually making those markets more accessible by relieving the quote PRESSURE COOKER of escalating prices and deteriorating affordability (end quote) in those areas and others. So if you have been feeling sad that you didn’t get in on the zombie foreclosure apocalypse in time, good news: NOW is really the time to start leveraging your investing experience and education in order to truly get involved in real estate .Here are three easy things that you can do to get your investing started NOW in today’s hot, now zombie-less markets: Examine your target market for TIMELINESS This means take a look at days on market, sales price, and how those homes that are selling are looking. This means: are they all HGTV dressed up to sell at top dollar or is there an active investor community? What do you need to plan to do in order to participate in this area? Take a look at off-market options. There are SO MANY WAYS to get great homes at deep discounts via off-market purchases and working directly with motivated sellers. And no matter what ANYONE tells you, there are always off-market homes available. If you don’t believe me, check out an old, old episode (number 2!) in the REI Today Vault and see how one of my early guests gets major action in the hot, hot market of Miami using off-market strategies. Finally, take some action. And I know you’ve heard that a thousand times, but seriously, people, it’s the only way to make money in real estate! Go to the vault (rei.today/vault) and look at episode #2 and also take a look at today’s episode’s list of markets that still have plenty of zombies to go around while you’re there.
