Nothing celebrates community hockey in Minnesota quite like Hockey Day Minnesota, and Hastings and the local organizing committee there absolutely crushed it. Carts and King dive into the wildly successful event, the jerseys, the layout, the facilities, you name it, it was top notch. As for the Wild game against FLA, the fans were treated to entertaining game, and for the 20th time this season, the Wild pushed the game into extra time. Unfortunately coming up short in OT, because of a much less favorable RAT, the Wild grabbed a point and look to finish the month strong before their Olympic break. Later in the show, we are joined by the GusBus himself, #32 Filip Gustavsson, for some typical Gus insight, that ranges from potty training to video games. This Swedish goaltender talks about his aspirations with team Sweden, his daily fun being a dad with a couple youngsters at home, and how he sneaks in time to join teammates online for some gaming. Il aurait ainsi perçu plus de 22 millions de FCFA. (…) À l'annonce de la défaite du Mali face au Sénégal, une foule en colère s'est rendue au domicile du marabout présumé. La police est intervenue à temps pour l'exfiltrer et éviter tout débordement ». Réaction de l'intéressé rapportée par Jeune Afrique : « si Dieu ne m'a pas écouté, vous devez comprendre, et je remercie surtout la police d'être intervenue au bon moment ». Commentaire du site panafricain : « les promesses (du prétendu marabout) étaient moins fiables qu'il n'y paraissait. Elles étaient surtout soumises à la règle du inch'Allah… »

On the occasions when we humans go out of our way to help another person who is in distress, we are acting out our biological inheritance. And if we don't help someone in trouble, that's because we've had to actually actively suppress what is natural for us to do. That was the finding of the neurologist Peggy Mason. whom we interviewed in Shape of the World's second season. We've re-released that episode because that particular finding of Peggy's and the others she spoke about remain incredibly relevant and still come across as a bit shocking.  As a child, Peggy Mason was a biology prodigy. By the age of nine, she was assisting the zoologist Dr. Charles Handley in teaching taxidermy at the Smithsonian. Today, as a neurobiologist, Peggy still works with mammals, but now she's studying whether they experience empathy and act to help one another. Peggy was studying the subject of pain modulation until a post-doctoral student at the University of Chicago, Inbal Ben-Ami Bartal, asked if she'd be interested in expanding her work to collaborate on a project about empathy. “I went over to see her that same day,” says Peggy, and the upshot was the discovery that, like humans, rats have an aversion to witnessing the distress of others and a strong motivation to help someone else who's suffering. In addition to leading the research laboratory at the University of Chicago, Peggy is a committed teacher of neurobiology, teaching both formally (at the University) and informally, through her blog and a popular free, online course. “It's our biological mammalian inheritance to help. Genres verschwimmen, zumindest bei teuren Produktionen. Das letzte Genre, das neu “erfunden” wurde, sind Souls-Likes, wobei auch die vielleicht eher Mechanik als Genre sind. Sind die Möglichkeiten des Mediums ausgeschöpft oder schon alle bekannt? Ich schieb zum Beispiel immer meine Brille nach oben, wenn ich Nachrichten auf dem Smartphone lese. Wie geht ihr mit dem Thema “Altern” um? Vermeidet ihr das konsequent? Oder macht ihr euch Gedanken wegen Vorsorge, sowohl medizinisch als auch finanziell? – Frage 4, gestellt von: Marius Ich hab es schon öfter erlebt, dass Mechaniken aus Spielen, die ich gerade spiele, mich in der echten Welt triggern und Handlungsimpulse erzeugen, denen ich widerstehen muss. Zum Beispiel wollte ich zu Zeiten von Black and White gerne echte Bäume ausreißen und über einem Sägewerk abwerfen. Und als ich viel Max Payne spielte, wollte ich in jedem Badezimmerschrank Painkiller suchen. Ist euch das auch mal passiert? – Frage 5, gestellt von: Andreas Die meisten von uns kennen das Vorurteil: “Wer sein Hobby zum Beruf macht, hat ein Hobby weniger.” Ich für meinen Teil habe Respekt – um nicht zu sagen: Angst – davor, dass mir ein liebgewonnenes Hobby durch negative Erfahrungen vergällt wird, wenn aus diesem Hobby mein Beruf würde. Wie geht es euch damit? Gibt es für euch nicht auch Tage, an denen ihr von Videospielen und der damit zusammenhängenden Industrie die Nase voll habt? – Frage 6, gestellt von: Patrick Wie geht ihr mit Spiele-Themen und -Inhalten um, die euch physisch oder psychisch belasten? Generell könnt ihr euch ja aussuchen, ob und wer welches Spiel behandelt. Ich denke da an Gunnars Aussage, dass er keine Jumpscares mag und sehr schreckhaft ist. Da er bei Folgen zu Resident Evil dabei war, stelle ich mir das Spielen schwierig vor. Die anderen haben da bestimmt auch Beispiele. Also was sind für euch problematische Inhalte oder “Hürden” beim Spielen? – Frage 7, gestellt von: Daniel Ihr seid gestresst, überfordert oder anderweitig unzufrieden mit einer Situation. Wohin würdet Ihr euch am liebsten zurückziehen, um abzuschalten und zu regenerieren? – Frage 8, gestellt von: Tobias Gibt es Spiele, die ihr vor allem wegen deren Minigames mochtet?
