Investigative journalist Mariana van Zeller joins Bobby to break down what it really takes to gain the trust of cartels operating in and around the U.S. and why no story is ever worth a life. She shares what she’s learned embedding with traffickers, how drugs move through America, and why the crisis isn’t just criminal, it's public health. They also dive into the psychology of scammers, from international fraud rings to headline-making con artists, and debate whether the people behind these crimes see themselves as villains at all. It’s a conversation about power, opportunism, corruption, and the uncomfortable truth about America’s role in fueling it all. Watch The BobbyCast on Netflix! What if the dream feels “too big” because you haven't built the capacity to hold it yet? What if success isn't missing you—but waiting for you to feel safe enough to receive it? This week, Jessica sits down with actress Karolina Wydra (Pluribus, Sneaky Pete) to talk about the long game of manifestation. From growing up in communist Poland and internalizing scarcity and suppression, to stepping away from acting at 39 to become a mother, Karolina's story is one of surrender, self-trust, and divine timing. It's a true testimony to something central at TBM: what is meant for you will not miss you. After years of inner work, Karolina landed a life-changing role on Pluribus, fulfilling a longtime manifestation of working with Vince Gilligan. Through EMDR, nervous system regulation, Expanders, journaling, and radical honesty with herself, she shares how subconscious reprogramming helped her release the belief that her dreams were “too big” and instead expand her capacity to receive them. If you've ever feared success as much as failure, this conversation is a reminder that manifestation isn't about forcing—it's about becoming safe enough to hold what you've been calling in. My guest today is Aswath Damodaran, a professor at NYU, where he teaches corporate finance and equity valuation. In today's episode, Professor Damodaran explains why he trimmed two Magnificent Seven stocks. He digs into AI's real impact on valuations and moats, why big software incumbents face an Innovator's Dilemma, and why the biggest risk isn't tech spending itself, but overconfidence and debt-fueled capex that could ripple beyond tech. He also weighs in on corporate Bitcoin balance sheets, sports franchises as “trophy assets” driven by billionaire demand rather than cash flows, and the rise of prediction markets. When I polled my Instagram community and asked what was holding women back from committing to sobriety the biggest answer I received was FOMO - fear of missing out. Today as we cover chapter 9 of my book The Sober Shift I want to shift this fear for you and ask you to ask yourself the question: what is alcohol making me miss out on? For me and so many women, the realities of what we lost to alcohol only became clear in sobriety. Trust me, there are incredible experiences on the other side. Community makes all the difference. Have you ever hit a big milestone and still felt… off? You closed the deal. You reached the revenue goal. You hit the number you've been chasing. On paper, everything looks solid. But internally? Something feels slightly empty. In this episode of the Happy Hustle Podcast, I dive into three of the ten alignments from our S.O.U.L.M.A.P.P.I.N system — the framework I use to systematically harmonize ambition and well-being. Those three are: Loving Relationships Mindful Spirituality Abundance Financially These are just 3 out of the 10 alignments, but they are powerful ones. When even one of these is out of whack, you can feel it. When all three are aligned, life hits different. Let's start with loving relationships. You can build an incredible business, but if your marriage is strained, your kids feel distant, or your friendships are surface-level, it will eventually catch up with you. Relationships are not a bonus category. They are foundational. I share the L.O.V.E.R. framework to help navigate adversity in relationships: Listen. Observe. Voice. Empathize. Repair. Most people skip listening and jump straight to defending. But communication isn't just about words. It's tone. Body language. Energy. Presence. If you want a ten in your relationship, you've got to be a ten. Then we move into mindful spirituality. This isn't about religion or rigid rules. It's about connection to something bigger than your to-do list, your ego, or your quarterly targets. When you feel spiritually disconnected, everything feels heavier. You operate from stress, urgency, and control. But when you intentionally create stillness, you regain perspective. I use the reminder C.I.T.S. — Chill In The Still. Sit down. Get quiet. Reflect. Pray. Meditate. Breathe. Even a few intentional minutes of stillness per day can shift your nervous system and your clarity. Stillness builds inner strength. Gratitude. Confidence. When you are spiritually grounded, you don't chase, you align. Now let's talk about abundance financially. Abundance isn't just about making more money. It's about how you make it and who you become in the process. Over the years, I've used a simple framework called R.O.A.D.M.A.P. to generate millions in revenue, often in 45-minute Zoom calls. Not because I'm special, but because the system is aligned. R.O.A.D.M.A.P. stands for: Rapport Obstacle Aspiration Demonstration Match Ask Pull First, build rapport. Real connection. Trust. Then understand the obstacle. What problem are they trying to solve? Next, aspiration. What outcome do they truly want? Then demonstrate. Show proof. Testimonials. Real results. Match is critical. It has to be a fit both ways. I've worked with misaligned clients before and the money is never worth the stress. Then ask clearly. And finally, pull, not push. Ethical urgency. Honest scarcity. Invitation instead of pressure. Money should not cost you your peace. It should amplify your impact. It should allow you to provide, give, invest, and grow without sacrificing your integrity. Money magnifies who you already are. If you're grounded in strong relationships and spiritual alignment, money expands that. If you're disconnected, it amplifies that too. At the end of the day, fulfillment isn't built in one big achievement. It's built in daily alignment. How you love your people. How you connect to something greater than yourself. How you steward and multiply your resources with integrity. These three alignments are just part of the ten. But if you dial them in, everything else starts to rise with them. Pause. Reflect. Realign. That's how you systematically harmonize ambition and well-being. That's how you truly put the HAPPY in your HUSTLE. Connect with Cary! https://wels2.blob.core.windows.net/daily-devotions/20260227dev.mp3 Listen to Devotion “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15 Who Will Win? Right in the middle of the wreckage, God speaks a promise. Adam and Eve have disobeyed. Trust is broken. Shame has entered the world. Everything good now feels fragile. And before the humans say a word—before they apologize, explain, or promise to do better—God talks to the serpent, “He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” It’s a strange moment. God isn’t giving instructions. He’s declaring an outcome. This isn’t advice. It’s a verdict. Evil will not win. That promise matters because, if we're honest, it often feels like evil is winning. Sin feels strong. Guilt lingers. Death feels permanent. We see brokenness in the world and in ourselves, and we wonder if it's too deep to fix. We wonder if what's broken can really be made right. God's promise answers that question. Yes. And not because people improve, but because God intervenes. From the very beginning, God makes it clear that rescue will come from outside us. An offspring. A deliverer. Someone who will step into the fight we’re losing and win it for us. That promise runs like a thread through the entire Bible and leads directly to Jesus. When Jesus is nailed to the cross, it looks like the serpent has won. Jesus suffers. Jesus bleeds. Jesus dies. It looks final. But the cross is not defeat—it’s the decisive blow. Sin is paid for. God’s justice is satisfied. Satan’s accusation is silenced. And Jesus’ resurrection confirms it. The serpent struck Jesus’ heel, but Jesus crushed the serpent’s head. Death did its worst and still lost. That victory changes everything. It means your sin, real as it is, is not stronger than God’s grace. Your past, heavy as it may feel, does not define your future. Fear and guilt do not get the last word. Jesus does. Paradise was lost in a garden, but it was promised on a cross and procured at an empty tomb. God keeps his promises—even when everything seems broken. God’s answer is always bigger than our questions. Prayer: Lord God, thank you for keeping your promise to defeat sin, death, and the devil. When I feel overwhelmed by guilt or fear, remind me of Christ’s victory. Give me faith to trust in what Jesus has done for me and peace to live in the hope he has won. Amen. The pasuk says that Amalek attacked the Jewish People when they were in רפידים and Chazal tell us the reason Amalek was able to attack was because רפו ידיהם מן התורה – the Jewish People became weakened in Torah. Rabbi Menashe Reizman quoted from the Shem M'Shmuel who said in the name of his father the Avnei Nezer that Amelek attacked around the 29 th day of Iyar, just about a week before the Jewish People received the Torah on Har Sinai. At that time, they were counting Sefirat HaOmer , they knew they were rising each day out of the 49 th level of tuma they had been in and they knew they were going to reach the highest levels of kedusha , so how were they able to become weakened in Torah at a time like that? The answer is because they didn't feel any tangible change inside of them. They weren't feeling more spiritual. More than 40 days of the counting had passed and yet they still felt the same as they did before. That caused them to become weak and that was how Amalek was able to attack. The Tiferet Shlomo writes the same thing is happening during this long galut . Without a question we are at the doorstep of Mashiach and when he comes, the Navi tells us, ישפוך ה' רוחו על כל בשר ונבאו בניכם ובנותיכם – Hashem is going to bestow His spirit upon us and our children are going to be nevi'im. We would think that at this time we should feel 99% of the way there, we should feel imbued with the spirit of Hashem, ready to receive prophecy. Yet, in reality, we don't feel that way. The reason, he says, Hashem did it this way is because if we felt like the level we were actually on, it would take away our free will. The enjoyment from those feelings would make it too easy for us to choose good over evil. We are always going to have the Amalek inside of us saying, You're not accomplishing anything. See, you don't feel it. This attitude has caused so many people to become weak in their avodat Hashem. The Jewish People didn't feel the growth that they had a week before Matan Torah , but how great were they in actuality? The following week they received the ultimate level of prophecy, they reached the ultimate level a person could possibly be on, hearing the voice, kavayachol , of HaKadosh Baruch Hu . They had a misunderstanding, they really were on a high level, it's just that Hashem didn't allow them to feel that way, so He could balance their free will. The same applies to us today. A person who is learning and growing might say to himself, I don't feel any change. The Amalek inside of him is saying, you're not growing, the Torah's not affecting you. And because in reality the person doesn't have the feeling he is looking for, he believes Amalek. We must strengthen ourselves and realize, every avodah we do is making us so great. We are rising higher and higher in anticipation of greeting the Mashiach . Specifically because we live in such a depraved world, it makes our avodah that much more valuable. If we stay the course, we will see how much of an effect Torah and mitzvot really is having on us. B'ezrat Hashem, we should merit that glorious day when the Mashiach will come and Hashem will rest His spirit upon us.
“Death in battle for God's sake is better than a shameful and sluggish life.” There is always a lion for the man who does not want to begin. Always a reason. Always a danger. Always a wiser moment to wait for. And so he remains on the road his entire life. Careful. Thoughtful. Unbloodied. Unchanged. St. Isaac is merciless here. Much wisdom can damn a soul. Not the wisdom that fears God, but the kind that calculates and delays obedience. The man who watches the winds never sows. The man who weighs every risk never enters the fight. The simple man jumps into the water. He does not negotiate with fear. He does not preserve his body. He burns with first ardor and moves. This is what we lack. Not knowledge. Fire. The way is filled with blood. Blood means loss. Blood means humiliation. Blood means the death of the life you hoped to keep. If you wish to begin, hold your death in your mind. Remember the day after your burial. Let eternity crush your attachment to this present age. Hope in this life weakens the soul. Do not begin with a divided heart. Divided labor exhausts and yields nothing. God does not give grace in proportion to our techniques but according to the ardor of love and the boldness of faith. “As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” Some beat their heads in repentance. Some drown in prostrations. Some burn in psalmody. Some are seized into silence. There are many forms. But all give themselves without reserve. Then comes the ruin. One tastes and turns back. One tastes a little and grows proud. One is enslaved by ambition. One by vainglory. One by greed. One by habit. One begins well and does not endure. These are the lions. Not in the street. In the heart. The one who stands firm does not turn back until he receives the pearl. He begins again and again. He refuses slackness. He does not wait for ideal conditions. He does not demand guarantees. Always begin. If the heart is pure from passion and doubt, God Himself raises the soul. Not because it was clever. Not because it was impressive. But because it believed and stepped onto the blood-stained road without bargaining. Begin. Or die still talking about the journey. --- Text of chat during the group: 00:07:55 Fr. We have to be thoughtful of what people can handle. And in talking to Kaustubha Prabhu about it—it was in Wisdom of the Sages—you know, he got inspired about reading Bhāgavatam to people. Yet he reads ahead and sees what can they handle, which parts will they be able to assimilate. There is a certain time at which you do notice that people have enough grounding in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Part of it is trusting those who are presenting it, and seeing that these people are real. They live real lives; they are sincere, and they are somebody I can trust. That's a bridge that helps people, because even if there are difficult concepts that they come across, they have somebody they can process it with. So that's also a sign that they can take more. We find also that there are times at which people demand more. We have seen also that devotees hold back, and then people are like, 'Alright...' We had this program called 'Kṛṣṇa Life.' It was actually our brand. The sequence was too long, but we had once a month where we would invite people from Meetup.com. People would come over, and we would do a very light presentation, to say the least. It was way too light. And there were these two ladies. After they had been coming for a few months, maybe more—they finally showed up and they had kaṇṭhī-mālā (neck beads) and stuff. They said, 'We found your temple! You've been holding back on us!' So sometimes people push forward and they are like, "Give us the straight thing." And devotees are really, taking something off the pitch' so that they are being too careful. So that's the life of one who is teaching Bhāgavatam: constantly trying to interpret, 'What's the best way that I can give this so that people can accept it and not reject it out of hand, and also not hold back too long until it's too late and they miss the point." ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://vaisesikadasayatra.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://thefourquestionsbook.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #pilgrimageoftheheart #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Something has shifted in the coaching and consulting space, and it's not money. It's trust. Clients are asking better questions. Taking their time. Looking more closely before they commit. In this episode, I break down how to price within a trust recession. We'll talk about why dropping your rate reactively weakens your positioning, how over-explaining your price signals doubt, and what to strengthen instead: visible process, tighter specificity, depth over volume, and extending trust before expecting it back. When prospective clients think more carefully, you don't shrink your fee, you become clearer, stronger, and more intentional in how you position the value of what you are delivering. In this episode, I talk about: What a trust recession really is - and why money isn't the issue. Why lowering your price in response to hesitation destabilizes your positioning. The difference between creating comfort and creating real trust in a sales conversation. How over-explaining your rate can unintentionally signal doubt. How making your process visible & more specific calms a buyer's nervous system. The leadership mindset required to hold premium pricing in a discerning market. ~~ For full show notes, transcript, and to check out Your Pricing Breakthrough, click here: www.themoneycoachschoolpodcast.com/127

The 94 WIP Morning Show is discussing the ever-evolving AJ Brown saga that has plagued the Eagles. Jon Ritchie does not have a very optimistic outlook on the situation and admits that his time as an Eagles is probably over. He also says that this is a weird point in time because both Howie Roseman and AJ Brown need to collaborate on a trade that will satisfy both parties. James Seltzer also questions if the Eagles can function with Brown here if the team decides not to trade him.

In this episode of Scouting for Growth, Sabine VanderLinden sits down with Manish Shah, President and Chief Product Officer at Majesco, to explore the rapidly changing landscape of insurance. Together, they examine how AI is shifting the industry from being purely a protector to one that also focuses on prevention and dynamic participation. The conversation covers everything from the persistent protection gap and the urgent need for behavioral—not just technological—transformation in insurance to the practical realities and fears surrounding the implementation of agentic AI systems. Manish Shah shares actionable insights on overcoming internal resistance, building trust with customers, and the importance of leadership courage. Throughout, listeners will gain an insider's view on how insurance models are transforming and what sets bold, future-ready leaders apart. KEY TAKEAWAYS I was delighted to welcome Manish Shah to explore how the insurance industry is being transformed at its core. Our discussion began with the fundamental premise that insurance is built on trust and a promise of protection—yet today, both are being challenged by shifting customer expectations, legacy systems, and the rapid evolution of AI technologies. Manish emphasized that closing the protection gap is not merely an issue of customer education but primarily a challenge of product and experience design. If customers do not understand or value our offerings, it's a failure of design, not comprehension. We agreed that the path to genuine transformation must be grounded in a behavioral shift—beyond technology upgrades or business process reengineering. Transformation executives must start by listening deeply to customers, adapting to their evolving needs, and fostering a culture that is not afraid to take bold risks rather than settle for incremental change. The conversation also delved into how AI, when embedded into the core—not bolted on as an afterthought—can help insurers move from process-led to truly human-centered operations. This enables better capacity, more personalized experiences, and the ability to anticipate rather than react to customers' needs. Crucially, Manish Shah articulated the importance of trust, transparency, and auditability in the AI era: true trust is built through consistent, clear, empathetic engagement, supported by AI that augments—not replaces—human judgment. The insurers that will thrive in the next 3-5 years are those who are brave enough to rethink their business models, leverage intelligent, agentic cores, and prioritize behavioral change. The future belongs to those willing to become active partners in their customers' lives, focused on prevention, participation, and peace of mind. BEST MOMENTS “If our customers don't understand or see the value in the product, then it is a design problem. It's not really a customer problem or an education problem. “Trust is built in small moments, not in any marketing material or strategic deck.” “If we can actually execute well as an industry, insurance should feel more like a proactive safety net than a just reactive payment mechanism.” “The brave ones… are those who are willing to rethink their business model and not just the tech stack.” ABOUT THE GUEST Manish Shah is the President and Chief Product Officer at Majesco, a leader at the intersection of technology, product strategy, and insurance industry expertise. With over 30 years in the insurance sector, Manish Shah has been both a witness and a driver of major transformation, from the analog days of the industry to today's AI-driven innovation. He is particularly passionate about embedding intelligence into the foundation of insurance operations—not just talking about AI, but delivering it as an engine of change. At Majesco, Manish Shah oversees strategy for their cloud-native, intelligent core platform, with a special focus on agentic workflows, operational effectiveness, and preparing insurers for future challenges and opportunities in P&C, Life, Health, and Benefits. If you want to connect with Manish Shah, he encourages open dialogue and learning across the industry. ABOUT THE HOST Sabine VanderLinden is a corporate strategist turned entrepreneur and the CEO of Alchemy Crew Ventures. She leads venture-client labs that help Fortune 500 companies adopt and scale cutting-edge technologies from global tech ventures. A builder of accelerators, investor, and co-editor of the bestseller The INSURTECH Book, Sabine is known for asking the uncomfortable questions—about AI governance, risk, and trust. On Scouting for Growth, she decodes how real growth happens—where capital, collaboration, and courage meet. It's Thursday, February 26th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Russian-Ukrainian war in its fifth year The war between Russia and Ukraine entered its fifth year this week. International Christian Concern reports religious communities in the Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine continue to face harassment and violence. Protestant churches are especially targeted with intimidation, raids, and closures. The European Evangelical Alliance is calling on Christians to pray for their brothers and sisters caught in the conflict. The organization noted, “Churches continue to serve courageously. Acts of compassion and solidarity are widespread. Stories of protection, provision, and spiritual awakening remind believers that God remains present and active even in the darkest times.” Romans 8:28 reminds us, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” 1.8 million casualties in Russian-Ukrainian war After four years of fighting, Russia and Ukraine have experienced an estimated 1.8 million casualties. That includes people killed, wounded, and missing. U.S. President Donald Trump continues to broker peace talks between the two countries even as the war drags on. Ukrainian representatives plan to meet with U.S. envoys in Geneva, Switzerland today. This is ahead of a potential trilateral meeting between the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine next week. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently wrote on X, “President Trump wants a solution that ends the bloodshed once and for all.” European Commission fines X $140 million Speaking of X, the company is challenging a $140 million fine imposed by the European Commission. The commission is using the European Union's Digital Services Act to impose censorship on American tech companies. Jeremy Tedesco with Alliance Defending Freedom stated, “The platforms the Digital Services Act targets … are the modern public square. They are where Americans debate politics, share their faith, and hold the powerful accountable. … The EU Commission is targeting X for a simple reason: X is committed to free speech, and the Commission demands censorship.” El Mencho's Mexican cartel extorted and harassed pastors As The Worldview reported on Tuesday, Mexico's military forces killed the drug cartel leader, Nemesio Cervantes, known as “El Mencho” on Sunday. He was the most wanted person in Mexico and one of the most wanted people in the United States. The cartel he led was known for terrorizing not only businesses but also church leaders in Mexico. Pastors faced intimidation, extortion, harassment, and threats at the hands of the cartel. Trump affirmed “one nation under God” In the United States, President Donald Trump delivered his 2026 State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday. The speech lasted for an hour and 48 minutes, the longest State of the Union Address in modern tracking. At one point, he asked a question. TRUMP: “One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe. So tonight, I'm inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. “If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. ‘The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.'” (Republicans applauded) Not surprisingly, all the Republicans stood and all the Democrats remained seated, revealing the stark contrast between the two major parties. Throughout his speech, the president mentioned the upcoming 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. He acknowledged the hand of Providence in our country's destiny and celebrated recent renewal in religious interest among young people. Listen. TRUMP: “I'm very proud to say that during my time in office, both the first four years, and in particular this last year, there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity and belief in God. “This is especially true among young people, and a big part of that had to do with my great friend, Charlie Kirk, a great guy, a great man.” (You can watch the State of the Union here.) Singer Johnny Cash remembered for faith in Christ And finally, today marks the birthday of Johnny Cash. The iconic American singer was born on February 26, 1932. He rose to fame in the music scene in the 1950s before coming to Christ later in the 1970s. He became known as the “Man in Black” for his all-black stage suits. After his conversion, Cash would use his music to share the Gospel, often performing at Billy Graham Crusades. Cash remains one the best-selling music artists of all time. He was inducted into the Country Music, Rock and Roll, and Gospel Music Halls of Fame. One of his last recorded songs was called “I Came to Believe.” Listen to the chorus. “I came to believe in a Power much higher than I. I came to believe that I needed help to get by. In childlike faith, I gave in and gave Him a try. And I came to believe in a Power much higher than I.” Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Pick up a copy of Greg Laurie's biography entitled, Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon. And watch the Christian movie by the same name. Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, February 26th, in the year of our Lord 2026. What if “manifesting” isn't about vision boards and wishful thinking… but about brave, uncomfortable action? In this deeply personal solo episode, Zoe shares - for the first time - how she built Motherkind and manifested her dream career alongside early motherhood Not through magic. Not through overnight success. But through clarity, courage and trusting the nudges. There is a fundamental difference between the miracle of Purim and the miracles of the other holidays. On the other holidays, the salvation came through open miracles. The rules of nature were overturned for all to see — the sea split, enemies fell, and the hand of Hashem was revealed in a way no one could deny. Purim, however, was very different. Everything unfolded through what appeared to be the natural course of events. Only someone who studies the entire chain of occurrences over those nine years can see how every detail was being guided and arranged by Hashem to bring salvation to Am Yisrael. This is the greatness of Megillat Esther, where the hashgachah of Hashem is highlighted, teaching us how to recognize Hashem in our own lives the very same way. We do not see open miracles today, but we can certainly see the guiding hand of Hashem in everything that happens to us each and every day. The hashgachah of Hashem is upon everything. Every last detail of every single event is being carefully planned and orchestrated by Hashem for our good. Nothing is random and nothing is overlooked. The more we train ourselves to notice this, the more clearly we will begin to see Hashem's presence in our lives. Megillat Esther was written not merely to tell us what happened then, but to teach us how to view what is happening now. Just as Hashem arranged every seemingly natural event in the Purim story to bring about salvation, so too He arranges every detail in our own lives with the same loving precision. A man related that he was called on a Friday to repair something in a large school building. Since there were no classes that day, only the office staff were present. He entered the assigned room, fixed what needed fixing, and prepared to leave. Instead of exiting through the door he had used to enter, he noticed another door marked "Exit" and went out through it. The door shut behind him — and locked. He suddenly realized he was trapped in a small corridor with no way out. Someone would have to open the door from the other side. He quickly called the school office, but there was no answer. Then he noticed his phone battery was about to die. He forced himself to stay calm and think. What was the shortest, most effective call he could make before the battery died? He called his wife and quickly told her he was stuck in the school and needed someone to open the door. She didn't even have time to respond before the phone went dead. Baruch Hashem, the message got through. She came to the school, found someone, and they opened the door. When he finally stepped outside, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "If my battery had died ten seconds earlier, I would have been trapped here the entire Shabbat." But his wife, with simple and pure emunah, replied with a sentence that completely changed his understanding: "If the battery had died earlier, Hashem would never have brought you here in the first place — because He wanted you home for Shabbat." At that moment, the man realized something profound. We often thank Hashem for the miracle we see at the end of the story. But true emunah means recognizing that the entire situation was arranged from the beginning so that the outcome could unfold exactly as it did. The battery did not almost die too early. It had precisely the amount of charge it was meant to have — not one percent more, and not one percent less. A person may think his salvation depended on quick thinking, on making the right phone call, or on the last bar of battery. In truth, the salvation began long before, exactly as Hashem planned it. The battery did not save him. Hashem saved him. And once Hashem decided he would be home for Shabbat, no locked door, no empty building, and no dying phone could change that. Hashem calculates our lives down to the smallest details. Our job is to learn to recognize His loving hand in everything that takes place.

Partnerships can be powerful… and they can also quietly wreck your retreat business. In this episode, Shannon Jamail breaks down one of the most common questions retreat leaders ask: Should you have a co-host? After being asked this question during a keynote in LA, Shannon's immediate answer-"Don't."-got a laugh… and opened the door to a real conversation retreat leaders need to hear. Shannon shares the good, the bad, and the expensive lessons she learned from early partnerships, including a situation involving copied content and the painful reality that trust is not a strategy. She explains why many retreat leaders pursue co-hosts for the wrong reasons, how "fine" partnerships still create unnecessary complexity, and the exact 3-step vetting system she now uses before partnering with anyone. If you've ever considered a co-host because you're nervous, overwhelmed, or hoping it will make marketing easier-this episode will save you time, money, and headaches. Key Takeaways A co-host is shared leadership-not an assistant, not emotional support, and not a shortcut to sales. Partnerships multiply everything, including tension, misalignment, and risk. "Trust" alone is not a strategy-especially when your reputation is tied to someone else's integrity. You need a real vetting process before partnering, not just good vibes on Zoom. If roles, money, ownership, and exit plans aren't in writing, you're building a future mess. Many retreat leaders need support systems (contractors/team), not a co-host. Build your retreat business solo first when possible-partner from strength, not dependence. Shannon's 3-Step Vetting System (Quick List for Skimmers) Step 1: Know their full history Proof, testimonials, real work, integrity, originality. Step 2: Meet in person Stress reveals everything. Watch how they handle pressure. Step 3: Get crystal clear in writing Roles, money, decision-making, list ownership, IP, exit plan. Send a textStablecoin yield doesn't have to mean complexity, counterparty mystery, or a leap of faith. We sit down with Jeff Handler, co‑founder and CCO of OpenTrade, to unpack how enterprise‑grade infrastructure turns on‑chain dollars into real returns, why tokenization only matters when it solves a user's problem, and how crypto‑native strategies like delta neutral Solana staking can deliver yield without riding the market's mood swings.Jeff walks us through his journey from early Bitcoin wallets to USDC's formative years, then into building a platform that looks more like SaaS than a protocol. We dig into the operations hiding behind clean APIs: bank‑grade asset management, reporting, and legal structures that meet treasury standards. If you've wondered how fintechs, exchanges, and neobanks can keep funds on chain while accessing money market exposure or hedged staking strategies, this is the blueprint. We also get practical about adoption. Trust is earned through credible investors and counterparties, but it's cemented with enforceable contracts, account controls, and bankruptcy‑aware structures. For product teams, the takeaway is clear: avoid vanity metrics, pursue product‑market fit, and accept that real usage trails real utility. On regulation, Jeff advocates a proven path—operate responsibly under existing laws, engage policymakers, and keep shipping rather than waiting for a perfect rulebook. To close, we explore how embedded yield becomes a retention and growth engine. With configurable terms, rates, and minimums, teams can shape offerings to reduce churn or boost balances while keeping a “stablecoins in, stablecoins out” experience. If you're building in fintech or web3 and need a clear, compliant, and scalable way to deliver yield, this conversation will sharpen your roadmap. In today's episode, Tom and co-host Drew kick things off with a lightning-fast breakdown of a world in chaos—Mexico under siege by drug cartels following the death of El Mencho, Iran on the brink of nuclear capability, and political drama from New York to the Middle East. Tom dives into the explosive unfolding cartel violence in Mexico, dissects the U.S. military's covert involvement, and questions Claudia Sheinbaum's controversial stance on handling narco-terrorism. The conversation doesn't stop there—Drew and Tom trade perspectives on the complexities of combating cartels, the morality and practicalities of state-sponsored violence, and whether restraint or escalation is the right answer. They jump into global politics, analyzing Trump's hardline tactics in Iran, the game of power nations play, and the economic undercurrents shaping the future of the Middle East. Through sharp debate and humorous takes, the episode explores how religion, politics, and economics intersect—from Mike Huckabee's biblical views on Israel's land right, to the irony of needing more ID to shovel snow than to vote. This episode is jam-packed with deep dives, tough questions, and candid reflections on leadership, morality, and the real-world consequences of decisions made at the highest levels.
