Lunchbox and Morgan had some big holidays for different reasons. Morgan got engaged surrounded by her family back in Kansas and she lets Lunchbox ask whatever questions he wants to ask. On the other hand, Lunchbox had quite the drama while celebrating the holidays in Texas that involved an ER and lots of bodily fluids.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Marina Zenovich, the acclaimed documentary filmmaker behind films on Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, and now Chevy Chase, joins Matt Wilstein on ‘Obsessed: The Podcast' to discuss her latest film, ‘I'm Chevy Chase, and You're Not'. Marina opens up about the moment Chevy bluntly told her she wasn't “bright enough” to understand him, the delicate dance of capturing comedy legends on camera, and what it was like piecing together a portrait of a famously prickly subject. Along the way, Matt and Kevin Fallon dive into their obsession with ‘The Pitt,' the medical drama that's back and more gripping than ever, and the show's shocking and emotional premiere moments—from abandoned babies to the chaos of a Fourth of July in the ER. The new film ‘Song Sung Blue' is about a Neil Diamond tribute band and stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Before Diamond began recording his own hits like “Solitary Man,” “Cherry, Cherry,” “America,” and “Sweet Caroline,” he wrote songs for other musicians, including The Monkees. Diamond spoke with Terry Gross in 2005. Also, the hit HBO medical drama ‘The Pitt' is back for season two. Noah Wyle plays the veteran attending physician in a Pittsburgh emergency room. The actor/producer spoke with Dave Davies about his tenure on ‘ER' and putting scrubs back on for ‘The Pitt.' Learn more about sponsor message choices: podcastchoices.com/adchoicesNPR Privacy Policy
This week on MU we cover the great book by Dr. Jeffery Long, Evidence of the Afterlife: The Science of Near-Death Experiences. From a man collapsing in the ER and meeting God/Buddha/Jesus, to another that is electrocuted right out of his body, these stories are powerful examples of consciousness surviving the physical experience. Welcome to your Plus+ Extension! Smashing out of the holiday break and into another freaky story from Preston Dennett's book, “Inside UFOs - True accounts of contact.” Due to the story covered from this book on the last Plus+ episode with the story of Seaman Kevin and his, “out of this world” experiences, we still have more to say and another story on the topic of “Inside UFOs”. Adding more convulsion to the already deep mystery of this bizarre experience. Welcome to the Leading Edge in Emotionally Focused Therapy, hosted by Drs. James Hawkins, Ph.D., LPC, and Ryan Rana, Ph.D., LMFT, LPC—Renowned ICEEFT Therapists, Supervisors, and Trainers. We're thrilled to have you with us. We believe this podcast, a valuable resource, will empower you to push the boundaries in your work, helping individuals and couples connect more deeply with themselves and each other. In this episode of Finally the Big Show – Step 7: The Hidden Need, James Hawkins and Ryan Rana dive into one of the most paradoxical moves in EFT: helping clients access and ask for their deepest attachment needs. They explore why secure attachment is all about needs, yet why going for need too early is a clinical trap that invites blame, reactivity, and the negative cycle to take over. Using rich metaphors—from ER triage to math progression to “ESPN tickers from hell”—they walk you through how to seed need from the very beginning, how to recognize when couples are truly ready (double greens), and how to move from hypothetical “someday” needs to live, in‑the‑room Step 7 enactments. Episode Highlights - Why “need” is both central and dangerous - Secure attachment = meeting needs through responsiveness and caregiving. - But in Stage 1, asking “What do you need?” usually invites blame and negative model of other (“I need my partner to do their work”). - The developmental order: don't jump to trigonometry - Needs work in Step 7 is like trig/calculus; Stage 1 work is basic math. - You can't skip the progression: tracking the cycle, working blocks, primary emotion, softening/acceptance, then deepest need. - Seeding need long before Step 7 - Use language like, “This is what your heart needed here…” throughout Stage 1. - By the time you explicitly go for need, it should have been seeded dozens of times. - Double green lights and safety conditions - Only consider Step 7 when both partners are “double green”: open, present, non‑reactive. - This is the one place Ryan will not enact into a block; the caregiving response must be highly likely to land. - Pre‑7: loading reluctance to reach - Use a “7A / pre‑seven” move: enact the fear of reaching (“In this place I feel so gross, I don't deserve comfort”). - This both crystallizes the sufferer's dilemma and awakens the caregiver to what's really at stake. - How to actually load the need - James' path: - Strong use of self (embody and mirror pain). - Slow, detailed evoking in the body (“Where do you feel this right now?”). - Gentle curiosity: “If we could listen to that part of you, what would it cry out for right here, right now?” - Ryan's path: - Use guided hypotheticals (e.g., next Tuesday in the kitchen after a bad day). - Ask, “Your partner really sees you in that place and comes to you—what would they say or do that would ease this pain?” - Then re‑enter the present so it becomes an in‑the‑room enactment, not just a fantasy. - From hypothetical to live Step 7 enactment - The key is reentry: “Can we let that need be here now, in your body, in this room? Could you turn and ask your partner for that right now?” - If it stays hypothetical (“It would be nice if someday you could…”), it's not Step 7.Using attachment history as a compass - Draw on earlier assessment work: - Who felt safe? - How did people respond when you were in pain? - What would you say now to the younger you who was hurting? - Those answers often preview the exact Step 7 need (e.g., “You're okay, buddy, just like you are”). - Normalizing “I don't know” and therapist awkwardness - “I don't know what I need” is not a block; it's exactly where years of defense have left them. - Therapists don't have to be smooth; they have to be slow, thoughtful, and present. - A caregiver saying, “I don't know what to say, but I'm here,” can be a beautiful A.R.E. response. - Training and community notes - Core Skills 3 & 4 in Huntington, WV (Jan 15–17, 2026). - Externship in Virginia Beach, VA (Sept 15–18, 2026) with repeaters at 50% off. ===== MDJ Script/ Top Stories for January 9th Publish Date: January 9th Commercial: From the BG AD Group Studio, Welcome to the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast. Today is Friday, January 9th and Happy Birthday to Jimmy Page I’m Keith Ippolito and here are the stories Cobb is talking about, presented by Times Journal Georgia schedules election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene Marietta Theatre Company announces 2026 season Flu season hits Georgia harder this year — What you should be watching for Plus, Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on saturated fats All of this and more is coming up on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! BREAK: INGLES 4 STORY 1: Georgia schedules election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene Georgia’s 14th Congressional District is gearing up for a special election on March 10, following Marjorie Taylor Greene’s abrupt resignation. Greene, once a staunch Trump ally, stepped down after a public fallout with the president over her push to release Jeffrey Epstein-related documents. Trump called her a “traitor” and vowed to back her challenger if she ran again. Ouch. The race? Already crowded. Nearly two dozen candidates are eyeing the seat, including two Democrats, an independent, and 20 Republicans. Big names like State Sen. Colton Moore and Dalton Councilman Nicky Lama are in the mix. Qualifying runs Jan. 12–14, with a $5,220 fee. STORY 2: Marietta Theatre Company announces 2026 season Marietta Theatre Company just dropped its 2026 season lineup, and honestly? It’s a good one. Tickets are already on sale—season passes start at $65, and they’re flexible, so no stressing over dates. “Live theater sticks with you—it’s magic that lingers,” said Katrina Stroup, the company’s president. “This season? Laughter, music, joy. We’ve got it all.” Here’s what’s coming: Little Shop of Horrors (Jan. 22-31): A cult classic with humor, heart, and a man-eating plant. 9 to 5: The Musical (May 28-June 6): Dolly Parton. Friendship. Revenge. Enough said. All Shook Up (Aug. 13-22): Elvis meets Twelfth Night. Chaos ensues. Details at mariettatheatre.tix.com. STORY 3: Flu season hits Georgia harder this year — What you should be watching for Flu season’s here, and Georgia’s getting hit hard—again. Over 300 people have been hospitalized since Dec. 21, and it’s not just the flu. RSV and colds are making the rounds too. Feeling run down? Fever, chills, body aches, sore throat? Yeah, it might be the flu. Dr. Earl Stewart Jr. from Wellstar says Influenza A (H3N2) is the big culprit this year, hitting kids, seniors, and folks with chronic conditions the hardest. Symptoms usually last 5–7 days, but that cough? It might stick around for weeks. When to worry? If you’re struggling to breathe, have chest pain, or your kid’s lethargic and not drinking fluids—get to the ER. Prevention? The usual suspects: flu shots, handwashing, rest, and staying hydrated. And if you do catch it, antivirals like Tamiflu can help—especially if you act fast. Stay safe, everyone. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.799.6810 for more info. We’ll be right back. Break: INGLES 4 STORY 4: Cobb Prom Swap Got an old prom dress or suit gathering dust in your closet? Give it a second life at the Cobb Prom Swap! The Cobb County Public Library is collecting gently used dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and even new, unused cosmetics through Feb. 7. Drop-off locations include: East Cobb Library, Marietta North Cobb Library, Kennesaw Powder Springs Library, Powder Springs Vinings Library, Atlanta West Cobb Library, Kennesaw Then, teens can shop for free at the Prom Swap events—first-come, first-served—on Feb. 21 (South Cobb Library, Mableton) and Feb. 28 (Switzer Library, Marietta). Perfect outfits, no price tags. STORY 5: Wheeler overcomes rocky start to beat Cherokee Cherokee came out swinging, but Wheeler landed the knockout punch, pulling away for a 78-64 win Tuesday night at Cherokee High. The Wildcats (12-3, 4-0 Region 5AAAAAA) have been living out of suitcases for weeks, and while this wasn’t their cleanest game, they handed the Warriors (11-5, 3-1) their first region loss—without starters Kevin Savage and Lamarrion Lewis. UConn commit Colben Landrew was unstoppable, dropping 26 points. Jaron Saulsberry added 17, and Amare James chipped in 16, including a half-court buzzer-beater that sparked Wheeler’s comeback. Cherokee started hot—Sean Hamilton’s seven-point run helped build a 20-6 lead. But Wheeler clawed back, outscoring the Warriors 26-12 in the second quarter and never looking back. FALCONS: Kirk Cousins and the Falcons just shook up his contract—again. According to reports, they’ve reworked the final two years of his four-year, $180 million deal, giving Atlanta some breathing room with the salary cap. But here’s the kicker: by March 13, 2026, they’ll have to decide if Cousins sticks around. Why? A $67.9 million guarantee for 2027 kicks in that day. And let’s be real—at 38, with a no-trade clause, Cousins isn’t exactly a hot commodity. The new deal slashes his 2026 base salary from $35 million to $2.1 million, shifting that cash to 2027. Still, he’s got a $10 million roster bonus locked in for next year. Atlanta signed Cousins in 2024 with $100 million guaranteed, then drafted Michael Penix Jr. at No. 8. But when Penix tore his ACL, Cousins stepped in, starting seven games. His numbers? Solid-ish: 1,721 yards, 10 TDs, five picks. Not bad for a guy nearing 40. You are never wrong for being worried about your child. You are allowed to ask questions, ask for help, and ask for another set of eyes. Advocacy is not confrontation, it is care. And the doctors caring for your family are human too, carrying both expertise and emotion into every room they enter. In this episode, I sit down with pediatric ER physician and creator Dr. Beachgem for a wide-ranging, honest conversation about what families often misunderstand about emergency care, how to advocate for yourself and your child in the hospital, and what it really looks like to practice medicine on both sides of the stretcher. And yes, we also talk about The Pitt, why it resonates so deeply with healthcare workers, and why humanizing medicine matters more than ever. We discuss: • What pediatric ER doctors really want parents to know before walking into the ER • Why waiting in the ER does not mean no one cares • How and when to advocate for a second opinion in the hospital • What “Condition H” or rapid response means for patients and families • How social media has changed how doctors listen to patients • Why ER doctors often see risk differently than outpatient pediatricians • Common injuries ER doctors wish families understood better • The emotional toll of emergency medicine and how clinicians cope • Why humanizing doctors matters for the future of healthcare • What gives hope in a system that feels broken To connect with Dr. Beachgem follow her on Instagram @dr.beachgem10 and check out all her resources at linktr.ee/beachgem10 00:00 – The emotional weight ER doctors carry01:00 – Why this episode, and why The Pitt hits so hard02:40 – What medical dramas get right (and wrong) about the ER03:45 – Meet Dr. Beachgem, training, career, and why she creates content07:30 – Burnout, misinformation, and why showing up online matters09:20 – Advocacy as a patient, when speaking up saves lives12:50 – Condition H and how to ask for a second opinion in the hospital14:05 – What parents often misunderstand about ER wait times16:15 – Triage explained, why waiting doesn't mean no one cares18:15 – Risk colored glasses, injuries ER doctors never forget22:00 – Trampolines, e-bikes, helmets, and real-world safety patterns26:10 – Why The Pitt humanizes medicine better than most shows31:00 – COVID flashbacks, grief, and emotional survival in the ER36:35 – Coping with loss, compartmentalization, and burnout43:30 – What gives ER doctors hope, and a message for parents Our podcasts are also now on YouTube. This week on the show, Tuddle and Kristin dive into the wildest ER stories — specifically the “I can't believe you put that there” category of hospital visits. They also debate whether anyone on Earth still writes checks, break down the nightmare scenario of a first date where she brings her kids and expects YOU to pay, and react to a city that's somehow complaining about the “offensive” smell coming from… a Dunkin' Donuts factory. It's chaos, caffeine, and questionable life choices.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This week, Kristin and I talk with Jason Pang, Director of EMS, and Joe Stoffolano, Division Chief of Community Risk Reduction in Miami Township, Ohio. These guys take us deep into the world of pre-hospital medicine. We're talking how EMS is funded, why those funding streams vanish, the future of EMS, and much more. We also break down how 911 dispatch actually works, how EMS decides what units to send, why response times vary so wildly across the country, and why dispatchers are the unsung heroes of every medical emergency. If you've ever wondered what really happens before a patient hits the hospital doors, or why EMS systems are constantly fighting to stay funded, this is the episode. Takeaways: Why property taxes are the backbone of EMS and what scary legislation could wipe out funding overnight. How pre-hospital blood transfusions actually work, who gets them, and why they're becoming a game-changer. What a lateral canthotomy in a helicopter looks like, and why an 11-blade scalpel is not invited. The emotional weight of dispatchers, and why they're the only person with you during the worst 10 minutes of your life. Why EMS is “an ER on wheels”, and how they juggle advanced medicine, unpredictable environments, and community expectations. — To Get Tickets to Wife & Death: You can visit Glaucomflecken.com/live We want to hear YOUR stories (and medical puns)! Kipp Lassetter is a former ER physician turned health-tech founder, hotel owner, and gas-station-barbecue legend who now runs RBN, a luxury real estate referral and rewards platform. He's on the show to unpack how he thinks about building and selling businesses, turning "boring" transactions into unforgettable experiences, and why the right real estate agent matters more than any points haul. Susan and Kipp talk about loyalty and rewards. • What really connects ER medicine, healthcare IT, hotels, and a gas-station-turned-destination barbecue joint • Why Kipp bought a "bad" gas station and the mindset he used to turn it into a must-visit moneymaker • A simple framework for deciding when to hold a business for cash flow versus when to sell and move on • How RBN quietly taps a standard real estate referral fee and turns it into "guilt-free" reward points for buyers and sellers • What RBN is learning about keeping rewards meaningful in an era of overcrowded lounges and points inflation • How AI will supercharge loyalty with hyper-personalized offers and smarter "gamification" of points for both brands and members *** Our Top Three Takeaways 1. RBN turns real estate transactions into meaningful, high-value rewards. Kipp explains that RBN uses the agent referral fee to give buyers and sellers a massive amount of reward points—often enough for a safari, Japan trip, or other bucket-list travel. The model reframes home buying as a chance to earn "guilt-free" experiential rewards rather than just a stressful financial transaction. 2. A great real estate agent matters more than any number of points. A core philosophy of RBN is that no reward can overcome a bad real estate experience. The company puts significant emphasis on vetting and selecting top-performing agents first; the points are "icing on the cake," not the main event. 3. The future of loyalty is hyper-personalized, AI-driven experiences. Kipp predicts that AI will rapidly transform loyalty programs by tailoring offers to individual members—think curated experiences based on personal interests, bucket-list items, and dynamic point optimization. He also notes the challenge of welcoming new members without making elite status feel unattainable. Welcome back to the Legal Nurse Podcast! In this insightful episode, Pat Iyer sits down with Dr. Kenny Stein, a seasoned emergency department physician and expert witness, to unravel the complexities and high-pressure realities of emergency medicine as they intersect with legal liability. With over 27 years of clinical experience and two decades serving as an expert witness, Dr. Kenny Stein brings a wealth of knowledge about how patient care in the emergency department can become the focal point of litigation. During their conversation, Pat Iyer and Dr. Kenny Stein discuss the nuts and bolts of what makes a medical malpractice case viable, examining the four essential elements every plaintiff's attorney must prove: duty, breach of standard of care, damages, and causation. They go behind the scenes of the emergency department, discussing how communication breakdowns, especially during patient handoffs, can trigger errors and create fertile ground for lawsuits. You'll hear powerful anecdotes pulled straight from Dr. Stein's experience, including unusual medical scenarios and cautionary tales where missed results and documentation pitfalls spelled trouble. This episode also explores evolving trends in emergency medicine, from the impact of electronic health records and templated notes to the emergence of AI in radiology. What happens when patients bounce back to the ER after discharge? Who is responsible for critical follow-up and test results once a patient leaves? And how does the language of documentation shift under the microscope of litigation? Tune in to get actionable insights for legal nurse consultants, attorneys, and anyone fascinated by the intersection of clinical care and the law. What You'll Learn in This Episode is Unpacking Medical Negligence: What Every Legal Nurse Should Know About ER Cases Here are 5 discussion questions answered by Pat Iyer and Kenny Stein in the podcast: What are the four main elements a plaintiff attorney must prove to make a medical negligence case viable, and why is each element important? How do the concepts of "standard of care" and "gold standard" differ in a legal context, according to Kenny Stein? Discuss how the process of handoff in the emergency department can lead to critical gaps in communication. What are some ways to mitigate these risks? Why can delayed test results after a patient has left the emergency department result in liability issues, and what systems are in place to prevent these situations? What are “bounce backs” in the emergency department, and how should clinicians approach a patient who returns soon after being discharged? In this “Kim on a Whim” segment, Kim and Marc react to a viral video of an ER nurse describing absurd hospital protocols requiring pregnancy tests for biological males identifying as women. They condemn the lack of common sense in medical and corporate policies, highlighting a Planet Fitness locker room incident where staff failed to act on inappropriate behavior by a “trans” man in the women's area. Kim argues the culture of fear and woke compliance has infected institutions from gyms to hospitals, despite Trump-era rollbacks. Listeners weigh in with personal stories as Marc and Kim stress how deeply this problem runs through the system. #KimOnAWhim #WokeCulture #TransPolicies #MarkCoxMorningShow

Modellen STOR får du her - Frameworket ”De Fire Esser” får du ved at signe dig op her. Men først får du STOR modellen. Hvordan bruger du modellen i praksis? ...

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Alexandra Gajer, a board certified physician who made a courageous shift from emergency medicine to the world of performance health optimization. Dr. Gajer shared how she reached a point of burnout even though she loved her work in the ER. Her story highlights a powerful truth that many high performers overlook. Loving your career does not make you immune to burnout. She explained why self care cannot be something we practice only during off hours, and how traditional medicine often focuses more on disease than on sustaining long term vitality. I emphasized how essential her work is, especially for leaders and professionals who want to feel energized and capable for decades rather than reacting to health problems after they arise. Optimizing Health for Career Success Dr. Gajer broke down a shift she sees in her clients. Success is no longer just about titles or income. True success requires a strong foundation of health. She explained how metabolic health plays a central role in energy, performance, and longevity. Small changes in how the body uses food for fuel can create massive improvements. She also covered the importance of hormone health and how people at any age can regain optimal energy levels. Dr. Gajer described clients in their 70s, 80s, and even 90s who continue thriving because they invested early in their health and maintained consistent habits. Health Habits for Peak Performance After 45 We explored why leaders over 45 must be proactive about both cognitive and physical health. Many people hit their 40s with more wisdom, capability, and clarity than ever, yet their bodies begin sending subtle warning signs. Dr. Gajer explained how burnout symptoms often show up quietly for people in demanding professions like healthcare, leadership, and entrepreneurship. We talked about why mindfulness, nutrition, movement, and regular health assessments are essential investments for long term functionality and longevity. Food Intolerance and Personal Health Awareness I shared my own experience with food intolerance testing and how it changed the way I look at nutrition. Discovering that I have a potato allergy, despite my Irish roots, and an intolerance to eggs, despite the egg in my brand logo, created some irony and a lot of self reflection. I talked about how foods interact with one another much like medications do, and why paying attention to how your body responds can be a game changer for overall well being. Whole Foods and Testosterone Health Dr. Gajer discussed the sharp decline in testosterone levels among men and why diet is a major contributor. She emphasized the importance of whole foods over processed products that are engineered to be addictive. Whole foods help regulate appetite, stabilize weight, and support hormone balance. She also highlighted the link between processed foods, inflammation, and cognitive decline. The message was clear. Your diet is creating either long term strength or long term struggle. Healthy Eating for Longevity We explored the consequences of poor dietary habits, including the rising rates of type 3 diabetes, Alzheimer's, and dementia. I shared why I believe medications like Ozempic are often used as a Band Aid for lifestyle choices rather than addressing root causes. We discussed how healthy food choices combined with regular movement help people maintain clarity, emotional stability, and resilience. When you take care of your body, you are better equipped to handle every other area of life. Health Habits and Daily Well Being Dr. Gajer emphasized that small health habits create major shifts. He noted that it is never too late to start making positive changes. We discussed the importance of consuming adequate protein, supporting gut microbiome health, and using daily rituals to reduce stress. I reinforced that when you strengthen your health, your performance improves in your relationships, your leadership, and your decision making. Inside Dr. Alexandra Gajer's Health Coaching Practice Dr. Gajer shared an overview of her health optimization practice, which supports clients nationwide. Listeners can book a free intro call through her website theguyerPractice.com. With my background in primary care administration, I deeply appreciate how vital her work is for healthcare professionals and high performers striving to stay healthy while maintaining demanding careers. Her contact information is included for anyone ready to take the next step toward long term health and vitality.

As I head toward the end of my appendectomy/ileocectomy recovery, I jump back into podcasting with an obvious guest: Dr. Daryl Wilson of the Bollweevils. Who better to talk through the past 2 ½ months of medical madness than a celebrated ER doctor with decades of experience? We talk through my experiences, from the moment my appendix burst through my current recovery, all discussed with a requisite amount of dark humor (and insight). If you ever wanted to know what the most vomit-inducing experience was during this period, we don’t hold back (spoiler: the colonoscopy doesn’t even come close). After Daryl “clears me” to return to podcasting and we put a bow on my appendix era, we get into Daryl’s new band, Pressure Set. It’s surprising, brand new, and something you’ll want to look out for in 2026. And don’t forget the Bollweevils: They have big plans for ‘26, as well. I’m grateful to have a friend like Daryl, and I think after listening to this episode Daryl will feel like a friend of yours, as well. So yeah… I’m back. As Daryl says in the episode, I’m “big back.” Thank you for your support, positive vibes, and kind words. Let’s have fun this year. -JVO ### Let’s talk about merch. The Pitt was expected to be just an ER reboot, but it turned out to be so much more. The structure of th show having each episode be 1 hour of a 15-hour shift had the audience feel much more involved in the gauntlet that is the Emergency Room in Pittsburgh. The first season surprised a lot of people and it safe to say that the second season would not be able to do that as easily. Hey daar lieve luisteraar. Lou hier. Happy New Year! Heerlijk even die vakantie. Ben weer helemaal opgeladen, bijgelezen én geïnspireerd. Er is van alles in werking gezet door de opmerking van Kathleen Cameron: it's not about frequency, it's about Identity. Hosted on Acast. Hulu's Murdaugh: Death in the Family promised to deliver the full story of South Carolina's most infamous crime dynasty — but how close does it come to the truth? In this explosive Hidden Killers breakdown, Tony Brueski pulls apart the dramatization and compares it to the real events that toppled a century-old legal empire. From the iconic 911 call and Paul's kennel video to the financial fraud that stretched across generations, the series captures the chaos — but not the full horror. Tony examines what the show nails, what it glosses over, and, most importantly, what it omits entirely: the cover-ups, the privilege, the quiet manipulation, and the systemic protection that allowed Alex Murdaugh to operate unchecked for decades. Because the real story is bigger than murder — it's about a family shielded by power until the façade cracked wide open. Then we turn to the tragedy that set the collapse in motion: the death of 19-year-old Mallory Beach. Long before Moselle became a crime scene, the Murdaugh myth began unraveling on a moonlit river. This episode revisits the boat crash, the ER intimidation campaign, and the deputies who allegedly bent procedure to protect Paul Murdaugh. It wasn't just a cover-up — it was the moment the Lowcountry finally saw the dynasty's shadow for what it was. Hulu captures the spectacle. But the truth? The truth is darker, sharper, and far more deliberate. And if you think the series told you everything… it didn't even scratch the surface. Watch this before you mistake Hollywood for history. Because what the cameras didn't show is where the real story lives — and where the Murdaugh legacy truly died. #MurdaughMurders #HuluSeries #DeathInTheFamily #TrueCrimeBreakdown #MalloryBeach #AlexMurdaugh #FactVsFiction #HiddenKillers #SouthernCorruption #TonyBrueski Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
