Surviving Breast Cancer - My Personal Story: Your Breasts Are Not Worth Dying For by Ady Iribhogbe https://www.amazon.com/Surviving-Breast-Cancer-Personal-Breasts/dp/B0FKCQVDQK This story is about cancer survival fueled with love. The love of our heavenly Father who promises never to leave us nor forsake us in every season of our lives, whether good times or bad. The love of a devoted husband who loved his wife unconditionally. Even when her chest had been amputated, he loved and stood by her in sickness and in health. The unconditional love of two amazing children who are not affected by how their mother looks. They are just happy to see her, hug her, and cuddle with her. As long as there is life, there is hope for healing and strength for tomorrow. The lifelong love of my brothers, my siblings who always come running when I call from whatever corner of the country they are, and when they come, they do not come alone. They come with their amazing wives and children to show me and my family their love and support, and above all, they pray with us and for us. This story is fueled by the corporate love of our church family and our Christian school family, our brothers and sisters in Christ who bombard us with visits, loving and encouraging messages, and meals prepared with love that warms your soul. This is a story of how you can overcome in the middle of the struggles of life when surrounded by sisterly love from my sisters from another mother, my sisters in Christ, and my sisters for life. This is a story of how the love of God saved me, rescued me from the hands of a deadly disease, and transformed me back to the land of the living. When you read what I have experienced, you will know why I had to share this amazing story of survival with all of you, my fellow humans. I am a woman of faith who has faced many adversities in life, and through it all, God, my Creator, has always been by my side. His promise to never leave me nor forsake me is true and evident in my life. Eight years ago when I got a diagnosis of breast cancer and my whole world was turned upside down, my faith in God, the love of a wonderful husband, my beloved children, family, and friends saw me through a terrible ordeal. I am alive today because of God being on my side, the miracle of modern medicine, and an amazing healthcare team of experts. I did not only survive breast cancer. I am living and thriving after breast cancer, and if God did it for me, He will do it for you too.

In this final episode of the season, I get to sit down with the one and only Vern Yip—yes, that Vern Yip! You probably know him from his trailblazing days on design television, but today he joins me to talk about his beautiful new book, Color, Pattern, Texture. We dive into everything from the deeply personal story of a scroll his mother carried while fleeing communist China, to how he uses those kinds of meaningful objects as the foundation for timeless design. Vern shares why starting with what matters most to you—not trends—creates homes that are layered, enduring, and uniquely yours. We look closely at some of the spaces from his book, break down why they work, and talk about the emotional side of design: how a room can tell your story, reflect who you are, and even help you step into who you want to become. He breaks down the realities of turning sexuality into a profession - from the technical challenges of performing while managing camera angles to the rigorous safety protocols that define the industry. The conversation dives deep into what makes someone truly skilled in intimacy, with Dante emphasizing that great lovers prioritize their partner's pleasure and practice selfless attention to detail. He also discusses the business side, including his Urban X Award nominations, building a brand beyond performing, and the strategic decisions that drive content creation.Dante doesn't shy away from the sacrifices either - the loss of privacy, relationship challenges, and how the work requires treating intimate moments as professional productions rather than personal connections.**Ready to hear the unfiltered truth about turning passion into profession? Listen to the full episode now.**Connect with Dante Diggz on social media platforms as dantediggz https://instagram.com/dantediggz99Find him also associated with Red Bottom Productions.Key Takeaways:• A blue‑collar-to-content-creator pivot: Dante left a warehouse job and personal‑training to monetize sexuality—driven by a swinger lifestyle and fitness—showing sex work can emerge from everyday jobs and subcultures. • Sex as craft, not intimacy: performers deliberately frame scenes as production—focused on stamina, tailored technique, attentiveness—and separate personal intimacy from on‑camera work. • Safety and business savvy matter: routine testing, careful navigation of platform limits, awards/fame, and a strategic shift toward production/branding are central to a sustainable career in paid content. In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into a topic that many of us may shy away from discussing: debt. Often viewed as a dirty word, debt is something that can significantly impact not just our finances, but our freedom, peace, and ability to fulfill God's assignments in our lives. I aim to shed light on what the Bible truly says about debt, emphasizing that it is more than just a financial issue; it is a spiritual one as well. We start by acknowledging that not all debt is created equal, but all debt requires discernment. I explain how debt, in biblical terms, is essentially borrowing from tomorrow's resources to pay for yesterday's expenses, which can lead us out of alignment with God's provision. Drawing from scripture, I highlight the biblical perspective that encourages us to be lenders rather than borrowers, and I share insights from my Money Mandate e-course, where we explore the implications of debt in greater detail. The barriers keeping us from abundance often aren't external; they're deeply ingrained beliefs hidden in our subconscious. In this transformative conversation, Amy Sylvis sits down with Calvin Correli, entrepreneur, coach, and founder of Simplero, to explore the concept of “mind bugs,” the invisible narratives that quietly shape our lives. Calvin shares how reprogramming your “human operating system” unlocks freedom, abundance, and authentic joy. From his personal story of early struggles to building a software company that has generated over $800 million for its users, Calvin illustrates how true abundance is not something we chase, but something we already are.Connect with Calvin Correli:https://www.instagram.com/calvincorreliConnect with Amy Sylvis:https://www.linkedin.com/in/amysylvis/Contact Us:https://www.sylviscapital.comhttps://www.sylviscapital.com/webinar00:00 Intro01:33 Meet Calvin Correli02:32 Understanding the Human Operating System03:46 Cultural Perspectives on Abundance06:46 Identifying and Overcoming Mind Bugs07:38 Personal Stories and Realizations12:42 The Power of Logical Analysis15:06 The Roller Coaster of Success and Identity16:37 Discovering Mind Bugs and Personal Growth21:27 Integrating Spirituality and Entrepreneurship23:53 The Concept of Mind Bugs in Business
In this podcast episode, Kurt Francom and Dan Duckworth discuss the importance of addressing community tragedies within Latter-day Saint congregations. They explore how leaders can create spaces for healing and connection during difficult times, emphasizing the role of vulnerability and unity in fostering a supportive church environment. Dan Duckworth speaks, teaches, and writes on leadership, power, and systemic change. His forthcoming book, The Leader in Chains (spring 2026), challenges conventional ideas and calls for a radical rethinking of leadership—and how it is developed. Links Transcript available with the video in the Zion Lab community Overview Perception of Community Needs: Leaders should be attuned to the emotional climate of their congregations, recognizing when community tragedies impact members. This awareness can guide appropriate responses. Risk of Vulnerability: Addressing difficult topics in church settings can feel risky, but it is essential for fostering genuine connections and healing. Leaders should embrace this risk to create a supportive environment. Purpose of Church: The church serves not only as a place for learning doctrine but also as a community for healing and support. Engaging in open discussions about current events can strengthen faith and unity. Creating Safe Spaces: Leaders can facilitate discussions that allow members to express their feelings and experiences, promoting emotional processing and community bonding. Driving the Hope Train: Leaders should focus on instilling hope and directing conversations toward Christ's teachings, using scriptural stories to provide comfort and guidance during challenging times. Leadership Applications Fostering Open Dialogue: Leaders can initiate conversations about current events or tragedies, encouraging members to share their feelings and experiences. This can be done through structured discussions or informal check-ins. Building Trust and Safety: By consistently creating a culture of vulnerability and support, leaders can ensure that members feel safe to express their emotions and seek help when needed. Integrating Healing into Meetings: Leaders can incorporate discussions of community challenges into regular meetings, ensuring that spiritual teachings are connected to real-life experiences, thus reinforcing the church's role as a healing community.
