In this wide-ranging episode, Jon Herold and Burning Bright dissect the fractures appearing across the global power structure, from the unraveling narratives of the New York Times to troubling signals inside the intelligence community. The hosts examine the growing tension around Julian Assange, the CIA's tightening grip over information, and the coordinated foreign influence shaping American media. They unpack the shifting landscape of global alliances, the panic spreading through legacy institutions, and the rising desperation of those who built the current system. With trademark clarity and sharp analysis, Jon and BB explore how propaganda, censorship, and geopolitical strategy are converging, and why the establishment is suddenly losing its ability to control the story. A fast-paced, high-level breakdown of a world order showing signs of collapse.

Head to https://crypto.com today and be part of this historic move! That's https://crypto.com. Don't wait! In this week's conversation I sit down with former MP Andrew Bridgen to uncover the rot at the heart of Britain's political system. From COVID cover-ups to digital ID schemes, election manipulation, and the corruption of parliament, Andrew lays out how power operates through fear, coercion, and compromise. We discuss Keir Starmer's rise, the sidelining of Corbyn and Assange, the way establishment figures protect one another, and why faith and personal integrity are essential in resisting a global order built on lies. This is a sobering but vital insight into the forces shaping our future.
GMoney dives deep into the ongoing battle over Bitcoin's identity, arguing that it is far more than “just money.” Revisiting the OP_RETURN Wars of 2014, he explains how cultural resistance within the Bitcoin developer community pushed innovation like tokenization and decentralized apps onto Ethereum, while Bitcoin's potential as an immutable ledger of truth was downplayed. With historical context, quotes from figures like Julian Assange, Michael Saylor, and Elon Musk, and a sharp critique of Bitcoin “maxis” who want to limit its scope, GMoney makes the case for Bitcoin as the world's first incorruptible history book. From counterparty tokens and memetic power like Rare Pepes, to tokenization of securities, real estate, and culture itself, the episode highlights why anchoring data to Bitcoin's base layer ensures truth cannot be erased or rewritten. Packed with rants, ads, and cultural analysis, this episode blends history, finance, and philosophy into a no-holds-barred defense of Bitcoin's destiny as humanity's timechain of truth.
Since 11 April 2019, Julian Assange has been held in the UK's notorious Belmarsh prison that was once known as Britain's Guantanamo Bay. This year marks his fourth year inside Belmarsh for revealing the US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Julian Assange is an Australian journalist and publisher who founded WikiLeaks in 2006. WikiLeaks broke one of the most important stories of the last decades on the war crimes committed in Iraq and Afghanistan when they published a series of leaks by US Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. In this conversation, Suchitra Vijayan talks about the incarceration and persecution of Julian Assange with lawyer and human rights defender, Stella Assange. The conversation was originally held as a Twitter Space session and has been edited for length and clarity.

How I Lost By Hillary Clinton: by Hillary Clinton (Author), Julian Assange (Foreword), Joe Lauria (Introduction)Judging by the stance of the leadership of the Democratic Party and much of the media, Hillary Clinton's devastating loss in the presidential election of November 2016 was all the fault of pernicious Russian leaks, unwarranted FBI investigations and a skewed electoral college. Rarely blamed was the party's decision to run a deeply unpopular candidate on an uninspiring platform. At a time of widespread dissatisfaction with business-as-usual politics, the Democrats chose to field a quintessential insider. Her campaign dwelt little on policies, focusing overwhelmingly on the personality of her opponent. That this strategy was a failure is an understatement. Losing an election to someone with as little competence or support from his own party as Donald Trump marked an extraordinary fiasco. The refusal of the Democratic leadership to identify the real reasons for their defeat is not just a problem of history. If Democrats persevere with a politics that prioritizes well-off professionals rather than ordinary Americans, they will leave the field open to right wing populism for many years to come. Drawing on the WikiLeaks releases of Clinton's talks at Goldman Sachs and the e mails of her campaign chief John Podesta, as well as key passages from her public speeches, How I Lost By Hillary Clinton also includes extensive commentary by award-winning journalist Joe Lauria, and a foreword by Julian Assange, editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks. It provides, in the words of the Democratic candidate and her close associates, a riveting, unsparing picture of the disastrous campaign that delivered America to President Trump, and a stark warning of a mistake that must not be repeated. "Clinton lost the 2016 election, Trump didn't win it. How I Lost by Hillary Clinton is a vital rallying call against the type of triangulating politics that may defeat Trump in 2020, but will never defeat Trumpism." -Bhaskar Sunkara, editor, JacobinBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

AMERICA'S MAYOR, LONG ISLAND'S NUKE ESCAPE, & JOURNALISTIC NITTY-GRITTY FROM UKRAINE Our esteemed Laureate MIMI GERMAN opens proceedings with another of her great poems. We follow with the high-road low-down from America's Mayor, HEIDI LAMPERT, of Waldport, Oregon's raging no-MAGA battlefield. We are reminded that while in Alaska, DONALD TRUMP was told by VLADIMIR PUTIN to get rid of mailed-in ballots—& thus democracy---which Trump immediately began to demand. Lifetime activist DIANE CAMERON celebrates a 10:1 victory over Maryland's Highway From Hell in a monumental triumph from the hard-core grassroots. From Long Island the legendary KARL GROSSMAN tells us how safe energy activists defeated up to ten insane atomic reactors, a victory for the ages. Co-convenor MYLA RESON reminds us that NY politician Andrew Cuomo has direct investments in Nano-Nuclear's latest multi-million-dollar doomed-to-fail scam operation. From engineer STEVE CARUSO we get a warning that the Russians control at least 25% of the world's uranium resources, right up Trump's radioactive alley. From the great VINNIE DE STEFANO we get the latest down-under news from the freed (but not pardoned) and still very active Julian Assange. Co-convenor TATANKA BRICCA reports that the freed (but not pardoned) Leonard Peltier is also thriving at home, this time in the Dakotas. One of the great veterans of the Golden Days of broadcast journalism, DAVID SALTMAN, spellbinds us with tales of top-level Trump-Putin style lunacy at its best. Our erstwhile DONALD SMITH corrects the assertion that all 4000+ transactions attributed to Epstein-Trump, saying they were in fact with a broader customer base. We ask the question of the age: is Ukraine the new Sudetenland? Time will soon tell. We also note that the Texas Democrats have caved to Trump's demand for Trump-style gerrymandering. We are reminded by MYLA RESON that we all need to join the GREEP You-Tube and grassrootsep.org websites. From southern Ohio we're invited to contemplate a major no nukes gathering at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth. See you there!. As you prepare for that, we will see you ALL at next week's zoom! no nukes!!! sluggo

It wasn't that long ago when I sincerely wondered if we'd ever see Assange's face again, let alone in public, let alone in Sydney, let alone heading up what had to be one of the largest pro-Palestine rallies ever held in Australia. Dare to be encouraged. The light is breaking through. Reading by Tim Foley.

Monday Headlines: 100-thousand people march along the Sydney Harbour Bridge yesterday, Home and Away's Lynne McGranger takes out Gold Logie, Emergency crews launch desperate search for passengers on board missing plane, Australian Defence Force increases staff levels through social media and gaming, and Robert Irwin and Nigella Lawson faces of new Tourism Australia campaign. Deep Dive: The Australian gas sector makes billions off our natural resources each year, yet over half is being given away and exported for free, with little to no benefit for the everyday Aussie. It’s been described as a loophole by some, “the great gas scam” by others, with taxpayers estimated to be missing out on $13 billion because of it. And we're not just missing out on money, it’s also costing us cash, with the gas sector and untapped exports contributing to surging gas and electricity prices too. Clearing the FOG with co-hosts Margaret Flowers and Kevin Zeese
Julian Assange, a founder of Wikileaks, endured nearly 15 years of persecution for daring to provide an information platform that opened access to leaked documents exposing the rich and powerful. One year after Assange's release from Belmarsh Prison, his brother, Gabriel Shipton, launched The Information Rights Project to share the lessons he and his family learned as they mounted a global movement in defense of Assange. Clearing the FOG speaks with Shipton about what Assange endured, why information access is a critical right, and what people around the world can do to protect this right as attacks on those who speak out and report the truth grow. My guest today Professor Alan Dershowitz, an American lawyer and law professor known for his work in U.S. constitutional and criminal law. From 1964 to 2013, he taught at Harvard Law School Mr. Dershowitz has taken on high-profile and often unpopular causes and clients. As he has represented such celebrity clients as Mike Tyson, Patty Hearst, Leona Helmsley, Julian Assange, and Jim Bakker. He is a regular media contributor, political commentator, and legal analyst. He is here today to discuss his new book, The Preventive State: The Challenge of Preventing Serious Harms while Preserving Essential Liberties. Ladies and gentlemen, if reliable but uncertain intelligence predicted a mass casualty terrorist attack and indicated likely suspects, what preventive actions would be constitutionally authorized? Detention? Interrogation? Torture? What if the attack involved a weaponized virus? Should the government compel widespread inoculation that might kill hundreds of people while saving millions? What if an article describing how to circumvent the inoculation mandate was about to be published? Should censorship of the article be authorized? These are the sorts of questions Professor Alan Dershowitz has been asking for more than 60 years, in his teaching, writing, and litigation. In it, he suggests an overarching jurisprudential framework that would set limits to the ballooning power of what he calls “the preventive state.” This important book offers unprecedented insights into one of the most under-examined developments of our age: the growing magnitude and frequency of cataclysmic threats, coupled with the increasingly effective—but increasingly intrusive—tools intended to predict and prevent them. This masterful analysis should be read by everyone who cares about security, liberty, and democracy. #alandershowitz #politics #preventivestate #government #law #lawyer #justice #judicialsystem #bail #sentencing #detention #israeliran #israel #iran #unitedstates #gaza #9/11 #RFK #JFK #malcolmX #MLK #martinlutherkingjr #civilliberties #trials

On this episode of Badlands Daily, CannCon and Alpha Warrior unpack the latest headlines with a blend of sharp insight and healthy skepticism. They kick things off with reactions to the D.C. circuit court dismissing Trump's gag order appeal, then pivot to reports of continued expansion at GITMO, raising questions about who, or what, it's being built for. The hosts speculate on recent chatter around Julian Assange's fate and Trump's cryptic social media posts, suggesting the narrative around Assange could be signaling a major shift in the information war. From the Epstein docket's odd omissions to a deep dive into Trump's precision strategy in Iran and his refusal to escalate with Israel, CannCon and Alpha also weigh the impact of legacy media spin, particularly CNN's framing of the recent airstrikes. They close with reflections on Trump's VP prospects, including renewed chatter around Tulsi Gabbard, and discuss the psychological toll of war, media gaslighting, and the importance of discernment in this critical moment. With humor, clarity, and controlled fury, this episode tracks the collapse of the old system and the narratives trying to hold it up.
On this episode of Badlands Daily, CannCon and Ashe in America break down the recent sweeping purge of truth-telling accounts across social media, including key patriot voices like Eye on the Right and Graphene. The hosts explore the coordinated censorship efforts targeting subversive narratives around Jan 6, war, vaccines, and media complicity. They also cover explosive updates on GITMO expansions, complete with brand new courtroom construction, raising eyebrows about the government's long-term plans for military tribunals. Ashe shares a powerful breakdown of a recent Trump video featuring “Narrator Trump,” analyzing the deeper narrative strategy at play. ther highlights include the corporate rebrand of The Epoch Times, Project Veritas's lawsuit woes, the chaos surrounding Julian Assange's limited freedom, and public calls to investigate Rachel Maddow. Plus, they tackle rumors about Trump's VP pick, health concerns around the malaria vax, and the ongoing decay of legacy media credibility. With insight, clarity, and signature Badlands grit, Ashe and CannCon connect the dots on a government-media-machine in collapse, and what that means for the American awakening.

Andrew For America talks about the "violence, violence, violence" that Sam Winchester from the According2Sam podcast recently covered in his last few episodes with regard to the "No Kings" riots that recently occurred in LA and other cities around the country. Andrew talks about the riots, the NGO's that coordinated them, the wars in Ukraine and now Iran, and how the riots and media propaganda are probably "cover" being used to distract Americans from the fact that its apparently time for more wars for Israel (who allegedly run American foreign policy). Andrew also talks about the recent killings of Minnesota lawmakers and how they are connected to governor Tampon Tim Walz. Andrew plays clips from many online commentators, as well as Benjamin Netanyahu, George W Bush, Julian Assange, Sam Tripoli, and others to help illustrate his points. The song selection is the song, "Feel Bad Hit of the Winter" by the band Lines of Drift. Hosted by CannCon and Zak "RedPill78" Paine, this episode of Badlands Daily unpacks the latest political theater with sharp insight and unapologetic takes. The duo dissects the so-called rift between Elon Musk and Donald Trump, weighing whether it's a real disagreement or a scripted psyop to confuse the enemy. They analyze the chaos in Los Angeles through a “trap narrative” lens, suggesting it's a strategic move by Team Trump to bait bad actors into exposing themselves. With speculation mounting around Trump's potential VP pick, possibly J.D. Vance, and a possible July announcement, the summer is shaping up to be anything but quiet. Other highlights include commentary on RICO charges in Georgia, the media's flip-flop treatment of Elon, the looming battle over Julian Assange, and Stephen Miller's legal warpath. It's a punchy, no-holds-barred episode that frames the week's events as part of a high-stakes game for control of the narrative and the future.
