How can we use that data effectively?" The cybersecurity landscape presents significant business opportunities, particularly in making sense of the overwhelming amount of security data organizations collect. Dr. Cole identifies data correlation and effective data utilization as key investment areas. Modern security systems generate vast quantities of logs and alerts, but transforming this raw information into actionable intelligence remains a challenge.
