Charles Bishop Kuralt (September 10, 1934[1] – July 4, 1997) was an American television, newspaper and radio journalist and author.[2][3] He is most widely known for his long career with CBS, first for his "On the Road" segments on The CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite, and later as the first anchor of CBS News Sunday Morning, a position he held for fifteen years.[4] In 1996, Kuralt was inducted into Television Hall of Fame of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.[5] Kuralt's On the Road segments were recognized twice with personal Peabody Awards.[6][7] The first, awarded in 1968, cited those segments as heartwarming and "nostalgic vignettes."[6] In 1975, his award was for his work as a U.S. "bicentennial historian"; his work "capture[d] the individuality of the people, the dynamic growth inherent in the area, and...the rich heritage of this great nation."[7] Kuralt also won an Emmy Award for On the Road in 1978.[5] He shared in a third Peabody awarded to CBS News Sunday Morning in 1979.[8] PICTURE: By CBS, Fair use, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?curid=2523865

Even Glenn Beck is whining that the FBI over-reacted. Wait, they "overreacted" to a man brandishing weapons while issuing a search warrant? Make it make sense. Bill Nigut has landed his new spot, and for some reason, Fani Willis felt the need to respond to Donald Trump's disgusting allegations like anyone took him seriously. I happen to think it's time to consider crossing party lines in the GOP primary to aid Chris Christie's campaign. Hear me out while I dissect a Twitter thread from The Editorial Board and dissect his recent interview on CBS News Sunday Morning. Lastly, metro Atlanta is continuing to grow, with nearly 67,000 new residents in a recent 12-month span. It means housing is still very much "in demand." The lost OceanGate submersible has captured the world's attention. We are living through a transformative time in mental health research. There is overwhelming demand for new and safe ways of addressing various states of depression. Dr. Nolan Williams and Stanford University are leaders in cutting-edge research that is generating worldwide attention. Attend this fascinating program to learn what is currently being done in research settings as well as the breakthrough technology that is in the process of being developed so it can be in every medical setting and available to people who need treatment and support. At Stanford, Dr. William's Brain Stimulation Lab developed a now-FDA-cleared, personalized, accelerated neuromodulation treatment known as Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT). The innovative SAINT approach is having a very positive impact on the treatment of severe depression. In a double-blind, randomized controlled trial, high doses of magnetic brain stimulation, given on an accelerated timeline and individually targeted, brought rapid remission to 79 percent of trial participants with severe depression compared to people in the sham treatment arm, where 13 percent of the people entered remission. The SAINT approach provides a novel form of rapid-acting, non-invasive, individually targeted neuromodulation that uses electromagnetic pulses to relieve symptoms of treatment-resistant depression. For the first time, advanced tools for processing MRI-based images of the brain are used to steer a specialized, high-dose pattern of magnetic pulses to induce neurons to fire. The stimulation modifies activity in brain networks related to depression, changing the brain's circuitry to more effectively treat major depression. SAINT has additionally been studied in open-label studies. Overall, the therapy has been shown to be effective in the treatment of major depressive disorder, with approximately 80–90 percent of patients achieving remission of depression symptoms following the five-day treatment protocol. The president, CEO, and founder of Answers in Genesis-US, and the highly acclaimed Creation Museum, and the world-renowned Ark Encounter, Ken Ham is one of the most in-demand Christian speakers in North America. You've probably heard the expression, "God given talent"? Heck, I use that expression often myself, but most recently on CBS News Sunday Morning broadcast they took on this subject. They featured a middle aged executive who quit his job to pursue a golf career... But here's the wildest part, he had never ever picked up a golf club BEFORE, ever! So what in the world is he thinking? Well, he's thinking if he practices enough he'll eventually be able to be on the 'golf tour circuit'. Okay, I don't know about you, but it will be interesting to see. But they went on to reference different body types more prone to certain sports, for example Michael Phelps, Olympic Gold Medalist. His long arms and torso, and short legs are perfect for swimming, probably not so good for say the high jump. Interesting stuff, my practice I talk about today is a whole 'nother story, but you'll have to listen in to hear my challenge. Thanks as always for listening and sharing.
