A partir de ahí, usted ya no es quien trabaja por un salario en ese asunto tan aburrido de explicar, usted es a la vez el producto y quien lo produce. Con pasión, sin confort; con followers, sin derechos. Queda inaugurado el siglo. 25 años después, cuando el humor observacional y cínico de Pantomima Full representa un espacio de trabajo, el punto álgido de la fiesta ya ha pasado y donde había épica queda comedia, patetismo y cringe. Quienes trabajan ahí ni siquiera han conocido de segunda mano los beneficios de todo eso. Algunos están jugando con el dinero de sus padres -que ya venían jugando con el dinero de Hacienda-, unos pocos se lo creen, otros más están perdidos y la mayoría comparten oficina con la fe en el emprendimiento que tiene en la comundiad quien comparte piso a partir de lo 35. En este episodio hemos convocado a Javier Zamora García, autor de “Brillar para existir. Neoliberalismo y marca personal en la era de las redes sociales digitales” (CEPC, 2024) para hablar de esta cultura empresarial y de sus daños colaterales. Su investigación hace correr en paralelo las transformaciones económicas y laborales asociadas a la financiarización y al posfordismo con las innovaciones en el campo de la subjetividad de los pobres, es decir, quienes no tenemos más remedio que ser el CEO de nuestra vida. En un contexto de derribo de la seguridad laboral y vital, todos estos mensajes sobre la épica del emprendimiento y la construcción de la marca personal ofrecen un salvavidas - pinchado - a los trabajadores más desclasados y un marco de legitimación bien inyectado de PR al destrozo global. La cuestión es qué efecto ha tenido sobre el alma y las espaldas de todos esos cuerpos 25 años de tormenta discursiva, cuál es el balance de heridos del choque entre el mindundi con internet y las ideologías diseñadas para tecnomagnates y – usted está aquí - qué queda cuando la farsa se desvela pero los actores no pueden salir del teatro. En el coworking de Entrepreneurs hay de todo, pero en el mercado no. La nueva economía se ha reducido a las plataformas para las que trabajan en la práctica todos esos nuevos CEO y a la creación de momentos de atención en los que colocar los productos de siempre. Es decir, trabajo subordinado y servicios de publicidad. La materia prima de todo ello son una mayoría de trabajadoras a quienes les cambiaron las reglas de juego a mitad de partido: del fórmate del instituto hasta el “tu visibilidad es más importante que tu habilidad”, de Montoya y Vandehey en “La marca llamada Tú” (2003). Y una minoría creciente de juventudes descreídas, huyendo de las cosultoras, como sus progenitores de las oficinas, como sus antecesores de la fábrica y del campo. Un capítulo más en la historia de fuerza, cuentos y fingimientos.
