In this episode of Bible Reading and Coffee Drinking, we explore Romans 11, where Paul explains God's continuing plan for Israel and the inclusion of the Gentiles. Using the image of an olive tree, Paul shows how branches were broken off and grafted in, reminding us that salvation is rooted in God's mercy, not human effort. This chapter calls us to humility, gratitude, and awe of God's wisdom and ways. Grab your Bible and coffee, and let's marvel together at the mystery of God's redemptive plan. Also, use the code "Podcast20" to get 20% off our entire store. Hi, Spring fans! In this installment we talk to Spring tooling legend Dr. Kris De Volder
Victoria says…“That is so gross!”And it might be. If you don't like eggs.My name is Mr. Twenty Twenty. That's the length of a daydream. And daydreams don't manifest. They dissipate.Remember, don't make the Mind Movie Mistake…Because movies feel good then fade away. That's why I am BIG into…One Sip Simple.Watch the video…Notice how I surrendered into a BLINK…That's what we call an Author moment. It's the blink where the Producer…The spark meets the Author…The one who writes the final One Sip Simple scene. The Author writes the final scene. And the final scene is easy…if you begin with,“Wouldn't it be cool?” And you let it be something - simple and sweet.Anyway… Tat's from Neville Goddard's Four Mighty Ones.More on that later.Reach out if you want more. I have a really cool little chart you'll love…And I'm writing two books and designing a course on The Core Four right now.So let's get gross. Here's what I do.I crack a duck egg into my cup.Not just any egg.A duck egg.Because I found these wonderful local farmers…A local couple who are amazing. They sell me duck eggs at chicken egg prices. And they're huge.So I crack one into my coffee cup…Then I grab this little gadget — a spring whisk.Four bucks at Kohls's.It's like my best friend.Still grody… Because it's got some egg on it.Anyway. Gross. But here's what I've noticed…Order matters.Cup first.Egg goes in.Spring whisk goes up and down.Thirty-nine seconds. Not less. Not more.Much less, and it's egg-drop soup coffee. Gross.Much more, it gets frothy and never settles. Gross. But at the exact right amount of time?I can feel it.Right then.Ahhh.That release. Then I add the hot water.Shake like hell. And what comes out is glorious. That's why I'm sharing this today.Because manifesting is the same.Same ingredients.Wrong order = gross.Right order = glory. And just like using the spring whisk…Some people stop too soon. Some people go way too long. Both get gross results.Neville gave formulas for a reason. We keep exploring them.Neurology.Biology.Nature.The sacred order shows up everywhere. And here's the deal…Most people won't even bother cracking a duck egg into coffee.Much less test the order. And I'm fine with that. This is just something I enjoy. In the “real” world?I imagined being the Kung Fu King. And suddenly I lost all interest in carbohydrates. And I'm not blaming the diet.I'm not blaming the eggs. What I noticed is this:Two years ago I was functionally crippled.Walking stick.Painkillers.Two hip replacements looming in my future. Now?I do Kung Fu - Wu Shu on the staircases I used to avoid. That tells me something. Not diet. Not time. Not technique.I changed. In the twinkle of an eye. You've got a choice to make today…You can make stuff up on your own.Crack an egg in coffee, slam it back.Gross!Or you can follow Sacred Order.Whisk it just right.Enjoy the richness and gobble up the glory.Same with manifesting.Stop too soon? Soup. It never feels real.Go too long? Froth. Because daydreams dissipate. That's the Mind Movie Mistake. Fix that with the first 2 videos at HowToFeelitReal.comAnd if you're ready for some real fun…Go to ManifestingMasteryCourse.com the 90-day adventure. At least grab the free videos at HowToFeelItReal.com.So you don't waste years making up your own recipe…and wondering why it's gross. That's my gift to you today.I'm Mr. Twenty Twenty. You've been enjoying the Power of Imagination Podcast.Where we explore one thing, and one thing only…The wonder-working power of the human imagination. And it all begins with that little Producer moment.“Wouldn't it be cool…”Blink.Producer meets Author.Possibility becomes Proof. And I already feel your comments, your emails, your thank-yous.See ya.

Are any of us professional poets? No. Are any of us poetry professors? No. Are any of us poetry publishers? One more time, no. But who cares. Poetry is part of our human patrimony. It's the language of love, the language of war, the language of fear, despair, and human longing. Writing poems is what humans do—all humans, in every age—and this week, in perhaps our most favorite conversation ever, we're talking about why that matters … and why poetry isn't something to be scared of or left to the “experts” but rather something that can make us more deeply human in an increasingly less human age. I will be drinking heavily during this episode, because I watched it and I have a lot to say," laments Christi as she does have quite a bit to say about what really went down on her last day as a member of the ALDC."Hollywood Here We Come Part 2" sees Cathy follow through on her promise to rub it in Abby's face that the Candy Apples will be performing to Chandelier. Unfortunately for Cathy (who clearly is already uncomfortable with the production forcing her to do so), everyone finds this more annoying than devastating. It's a disservice to her own team to be seen trying to cash in on Maddie's moment, a fact Melissa drives home by getting Maddie to perform a bit of the actual music video dance for the crowd in order to steal candy apple's thunder.Meanwhile, Abby is more determined than ever to try and embarrass Chloe, from sabotaging the choreography to praising Kamryn for the same things Chloe always gets scolded for. So you can imagine when the judges decide to favor Chloe over Kamryn, Abby's mood sowers very quickly. Things come to a head when Abby starts dishing out some truly outrageous insults that almost trick Christi into recreating Kelly's infamous fight. So what held her back? Tune-in for all the secrets to finally be revealed!Quotes“I don't need my eyes to listen to you say stupid things." (42:32-42:35 | Christi)“This is weird. This is so bizarre, like who is coming up with this s**t? Can I please produce? Put me up in the booth! " (52:32-52:36 | Christi & Kelly)“Obviously Abby went to a tanning booth the day before this competition. Oh my god she was like orange! Yes with that orange lipstick! It was so bad. And she says the word 'hhhuuuuugggeee' all the time? All I was thinking is there is another reality star who is orange and says that a lot and I've never seen them in the same room together. In this episode of Bible Reading and Coffee Drinking, we open Romans 10, where Paul makes one of the clearest declarations of the gospel: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Paul emphasizes that righteousness doesn't come by the law but by faith, and that salvation is available to everyone who calls on the name of the Lord. This chapter also reminds us of the urgent need to share the good news so others may believe. Grab your Bible and coffee, and let's celebrate the simplicity and power of the gospel in Romans 10.Also, use the code "Podcast20" to get 20% off our entire store. 6 He spoke also this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.Dicebat autem et hanc similitudinem : Arborem fici habebat quidam plantatam in vinea sua, et venit quaerens fructum in illa, et non invenit. 7 And he said to the dresser of the vineyard: Behold, for these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down therefore: why cumbereth it the ground?Dixit autem ad cultorem vineae : Ecce anni tres sunt ex quo venio quaerens fructum in ficulnea hac, et non invenio : succide ergo illam : ut quid etiam terram occupat? 8 But he answering, said to him: Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig about it, and dung it.At ille respondens, dicit illi : Domine dimitte illam et hoc anno, usque dum fodiam circa illam, et mittam stercora, 9 And if happily it bear fruit: but if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.et siquidem fecerit fructum : sin autem, in futurum succides eam. 10 And he was teaching in their synagogue on their sabbath.Erat autem docens in synagoga eorum sabbatis. 11 And behold there was a woman, who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years: and she was bowed together, neither could she look upwards at all.Et ecce mulier, quae habebat spiritum infirmitatis annis decem et octo : et erat inclinata, nec omnino poterat sursum respicere. 12 Whom when Jesus saw, he called her unto him, and said to her: Woman, thou art delivered from thy infirmity.Quam cum videret Jesus, vocavit eam ad se, et ait illi : Mulier, dimissa es ab infirmitate tua. 13 And he laid his hands upon her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.Et imposuit illi manus, et confestim erecta est, et glorificabat Deum. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue (being angry that Jesus had healed on the sabbath) answering, said to the multitude: Six days there are wherein you ought to work. In them therefore come, and be healed; and not on the sabbath day.Respondens autem archisynagogus, indignans quia sabbato curasset Jesus, dicebat turbae : Sex dies sunt in quibus oportet operari : in his ergo venite, et curamini, et non in die sabbati. 15 And the Lord answering him, said: Ye hypocrites, doth not every one of you, on the sabbath day, loose his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead them to water?Respondens autem ad illum Dominus, dixit : Hypocritae, unusquisque vestrum sabbato non solvit bovem suum, aut asinum a praesepio, et ducit adaquare? 16 And ought not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?Hanc autem filiam Abrahae, quam alligavit Satanas, ecce decem et octo annis, non oportuit solvi a vinculo isto die sabbati? 17 And when he said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the things that were gloriously done by him.Et cum haec diceret, erubescant omnes adversarii ejus : et omnis populus gaudebat in universis, quae gloriosae fiebant ab eo.At the beginning of the four seasons of the Ecclesial Year, the Ember Days have been instituted by the Church to thank God for blessings obtained during the past year and to implore further graces for the new season. Their importance in the Church was formerly very great. They are fixed on the Wednesday, Friday and Saturday ; after the first Sunday of Lent for Spring after Whitsunday for Summer, after the Feast of the Elevation of the Cross (14th September) for Autumn, and after the Third Sunday of Advent for Winter. They are intended also to consecrate to God the various seasons in nature, and to prepare by penance those who are about to be ordained. Ordinations generally take place on the Ember Days. The faithful ought to pray on these days for good Priests. The Ember Days were once fastdays of obligation.
Spring and Fall to a Young Child: REDUX We return to one of the most haunting chapters of The Devil Within—this time with new commentary and deeper insights. In this REDUX edition, we explore Gerard Manley Hopkins' poem Spring and Fall to a Young Child, a work whose meditation on loss and innocence casts a chilling light on the story of Tommy Sullivan. Alongside the poem, we examine Tommy's life as a young wrestler in Jefferson Township, New Jersey—a world of pressure, discipline, and hidden struggle. You'll also hear newly added clips from an interview with Jefferson Township resident and former wrestler Dave Esposito, who helps us understand the intensity of the sport, the culture it creates, and what that meant for a boy like Tommy Sullivan TDW_E4 . In this episode of Bible Reading and Coffee Drinking, we step into Romans 9, where Paul wrestles with deep questions about God's sovereignty, His promises to Israel, and His mercy toward all people. Paul reminds us that God is perfectly just and completely free to show mercy according to His will. This chapter challenges us to trust God's plan even when it's bigger than our understanding. Grab your Bible and coffee, and let's explore how Romans 9 points us to a God who is both powerful and merciful. Also, use the code "Podcast20" to get 20% off our entire store. On today's episode of the podcast we're analyzing our Not AVG Law trademark data, the trademark process, and what it's like to file a trademark when you work with us. Not AVG Law started filing trademarks in early Spring 2023. I have a law school degree and a Master's in Tax Law, but when I started my business I was teaching myself additional areas of law that I hadn't taken courses on in law school because I started out focused on health law. Trademarks was not a specialty when I started my business so around 2019 I started referring clients to a trademark attorney I knew, only to find out she'd started ghosting clients and later had issues with her state's bar association for signing contracts, taking money and not completing the work. I started referring clients to another attorney was wonderful, but I decided I could and should do this on my own. I was leaving revenue on the table and a lot of our clients needed this. In 2023 I took a $3,000 program on trademarks, got coaching from an experienced trademark attorney, and I started taking on clients. A few months into that I came up with the idea of Trademark Quickies, a search report we run that gives us the info to say "This mark looks worth pursuing," or "This mark looks like it'd be very tough to file." Book your Trademark Quickie at notavglaw.com/trademarks The Quickie idea stemmed from the fact that I pay for a single day license of a sophisticated attorney software to run trademark search reports for clients and I wanted to offset the cost while also helping people be able to start their trademark search before they pay us for the entire filing service and then have us search. So I'd open the search once a month and fill it from the waitlist I had up on our site that people could add their name to at any time. Today, you can book them at any time without a waitlist. Since starting in 2023, I've booked 191 Trademark Quickie searches and run 280 (the discrepancy being a BOGO search promo and the searches that are included for our 1-on-1 monthly clients. The Trademark Quickie Search service has proven to be beneficial not just for clients, but at $100 it's a comfortable price point to get started on your trademark without being something that just sounds fun, they're buying from a place of interest in possibly filing a trademark. Trademark Quickies by the Numbers:Searches Booked: 191Quickie Search Revenue: $15,100 Trademark Filing Revenue generated: $103,760 The Trademark Filing Process: 1. Book a Trademark Quickie Search. You'll receive two reports - one with all the details from the software that pulls any trademarks that could be confusingly similar along with our report summary and determination with a green, yellow, orange or red flag on the likelihood of filing success. Of our 280 searches, 171 have gotten green flags, 87 have gotten yellow, 17 have gotten orange flags and 5 have gotten red flags meaning 92% of these trademarks have been worth pursuing. 2. Apply for a trademark. If your search resulted in anything other than red, you have the option to work with us to file your trademark, and we do offer a discount to our Quickie Searchers who book their filing within a week of their Quickie results. Of the 280 Quickie searches, we've booked 97 trademarks (a 35% conversion rate) 3. Wait. Once your trademark is filed it can an examiner from the USPTO 8-12 months to review your application. If they see any issues, they'll give an office action. We're still waiting on results for many of those 97 filings, but of the ones we've filed and heard on, we've only had 5 or 6 "denied" meaning the USPTO said there is a confusingly similar trademark and you can pursue an argument if you choose to. Of these 5, only one was a green flag (I was newer to offering this service), 3 yellow flags, and one orange flag. This gives us a 98% filing success rate on green flags and 91% on yellow flags which is where I want it to be so the flag system is working appropriately. Tracking this data has helped me give better filing odds to our clients.
