Al Jarreau is one of the most beloved musical artists to come out of Milwaukee, and his music – from jazz to pop to R&B – defies easy classification. He performed with a bevy of jazz musicians, and blended an eclectic mix of other styles into his work. But Jarreau is perhaps best known for his live performances and expressive vocal improvisation. When he passed away in 2017, the New York Times wrote of Jarreau's “virtuosic ability to produce an array of vocalizations ranging from delicious nonsense to clicks and growls to quasi-instrumental sounds.”On this edition of Madison Book Beat, host David Ahrens sits down with Kurt Dietrich, author of Never Givin' Up: The Life and Music of Al Jarreau (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2023). It's the first biography of Jarreau's life and career, and compiles details collected by Dietrich in interviews with Jarreau himself, alongside dozens of Jarreau's friends, colleagues, and family.Dietrich joins us to play examples of Jarreau's eclectic talent, virtuosic vocalization, and early life in Wisconsin.About the guest: Kurt Dietrich is professor emeritus of music at Ripon College, where he taught from 1980 to 2019. He received his master's degree from Northwestern University, where he studied trombone, and later was a trombonist with jazz fusion group Matrix. In addition to many articles, he's the author of three other books about jazz: Wisconsin Riffs: Jazz Profiles from the Heartland (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2018), Jazz ‘Bones: The World of Jazz Trombone (Advance Music, 2005), and Duke's ‘Bones: Ellington's Great Trombonists (Alfred Music, 1995). Corey Rosen is the founder and an active staff member of the National Center for Employee Ownership, a private, nonprofit membership, information, and research organization. The NCEO is widely considered to be the authoritative source on broad-based employee ownership plans. He cofounded the NCEO in 1981 after working five years as a professional staff member in the U.S. Senate, where he helped draft legislation on employee ownership plans. Prior to that, he taught political science at Ripon College. He is the author or co-author of over 100 articles and numerous books on employee ownership, and co-author (with John Case and Martin Staubus) of Equity: Why Employee Ownership is Good for Business (Harvard Business School Press, 2005) and (with Hohn Case), Ownership: Reinventing Companies, Capitalism, and Who Owns What (Berrett-Kohler, 2022). He has lectured on employee ownership on six continents. He has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Cornell University. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Great Place to Work Institute (creators of the “The 100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list). He currently is on seven ESOP company boards, with fees going to support the work of the NCEO. In 2009, he was awarded the Txemi Cantera Social Economy Award, given annually in Spain. Episode in a Tweet: Employee ownership is about giving your employees the opportunity to participate in the company's wealth creation. Through ownership, your employees can generate enough wealth to live more secure lives. And your company will do better, too, because everybody has a stake in the future. Background: I've had the pleasure of knowing Corey for almost a decade now. I met him at my first NCEO summit for ESOP companies where I learned all the mistakes you can make when setting up an ESOP, way back in 2013. It was an eye-opening and exciting seminar; I left motived to make StoneAge an ESOP company. Now, almost a decade later, I relish the opportunity to interview Corey, who along with his team at the NCEO, has reshaped the way we look at employee-owned companies. During the episode, Corey articulately explains why employee-ownership is a powerful succession model and how ESOPs work. He shares stories of how remarkable leaders have reshaped the way companies are run by being transparent, generous, and creative. This is a powerful episode that everyone can benefit from, even if you are not an employee-owned company. Recorded on November 18, 2022, we debriefed following the 2022 NREA conference and all the interesting activities during the conference. We discussed attendees' experiences, including cross-political discussion on how to address challenges in rural education. We also reminded the listeners that the 2023 conference will be in Chattanooga. This episode interviewed Tim Nikolai Senior Rural Health Director for American Heart Association. We discussed how a typical vaping device pod is equivalent to 20 cigarettes. Tim discusses the various health concerns facing rural schools. For example, we discussed the connection between mental and physical health. We discussed the role of obesity and other comorbidities and how tobacco may further contribute to healthcare outcomes. We discussed how the American Heart Association partners with school districts to address health concerns, including learning opportunities for students, teachers, and staff. We also discussed school health emergencies and the current statistics related to rural communities. Further, we discussed the socio-emotional issues in rural education, including the limited resources to help for students and school districts. We explored the role of making science accessible to rural communities in a consumable way. As Tim notes, making the healthy choice the easy choice not only in our own kitchens but also for school district policy as well. Tim Nikolai is the Sr. Rural Health Director for the American Heart Association in the 13-state Midwest Region. After growing up as an “Army Brat,” he graduated from Ripon College - in rural Wisconsin - with a degree in political science and secondary education. He has been with the Association for 14+ years in a variety of roles, many of which involved collaboration with school districts. In his current role, he works with organizations that are based in – or focused on – rural communities. This includes school districts, libraries, hospitals, community health centers, local health departments, and more. His work focuses on changing policies and systems from a barrier to health into a health asset.

Me What I Gotta Do'). Produit par George Duke , "Hearts Horizon" est sorti en 1988 (avec "All Or Nothing At All" et "Pleasure Over Pain"). Meet Charlie   Charlie Larson serves as the Vice President of Communications for The Milwaukee Admirals. The Admirals are a member of the American Hockey League, equivalent to  AAA baseball for those who are trying to understand and serve as the farm team for the Nashville Predators of the NHL. Charlie has been working hard as of late launching a brand new website for The Admirals, premiering the brand new third jersey that The Admirals will be wearing this upcoming season, and the schedule is out preparing for puck drop on October 16 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Panther Arena in downtown Milwaukee.   On your LinkedIn, it looks like you went straight from college to working with the Admirals. How long have you been with The Admirals?   I will celebrate 21 years on August 23. So I did work for a minor league baseball team, the Michigan Battle Cats, which are now defunct, and probably the worst run professional sports team in history! I'm not joking, it was a race to get your checks cashed because if you were last it might bounce. Luckily, I was making so little money $233 after taxes every two weeks as a full-time job, that it didn't really matter that much. But I had to send my checks back and I had to put it in along with the deposit slip, I'd sign my check, mail it to M&I bank in Milwaukee and they would deposit it. You couldn't just take a picture of your check and deposit anymore. I knew I wasn't going to be there for too long after a couple of days so I didn't want to get a bank there. So I kept M&I, which doesn't exist anymore. It was interesting without a doubt.   So how often would that happen where checks would bounce and your counterparts would come in shaking their head and be like “Nope, this week's check isn't going.”?   As far as I know, it never happened during the season when there was a little bit of cash flow. It was the offseason and I wasn't really there for much of any offseason. They were in the same league as The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, who are now the Class A affiliate for the Brewers. Back then they were the Class A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and I had worked for them as well the year before. It was a wide discrepancy. The Dayton Dragons hold the most consecutive sellouts in any minor league sport. They've sold on every single game since the year they were formed and they're in the Midwest League with The Michigan Battle Cats when I was there, and we averaged like 300 fans a game and could barely even function. It was just this weird discrepancy. But I'll tell you this, living in Michigan, a couple of times a year we would have firework games on Saturday nights so we get big crowds of about 5000 fans which would have bumped our average attendance up to close to 1000. They would buy their sodas and their bottles, and they would drop them under the stands and if you ever lived in Michigan, or if you've seen Seinfeld, you would know that you get 10 cents per bottle and I was making so little money and so were the grounds crews that we would go underneath the bleachers after those games, and it was so disgusting, but it didn't matter. Then we go across to the Meijer store and we throw them in the little chute where you exchange your cans and I come out there with like 100 bucks 125 bucks. It was great cause that's literally half of my paycheck!   Did you know when you were at Ripon College that you wanted to get into the business side of sports?    Not really. I was at the NCAA Division Three Tennis Tournament my sophomore year, and if you know, tennis tournaments, have a lot of downtime, right? I got to talking to the NCAA Rep there because the NCAA sends a rep to every church championship. This guy played basketball at Brown. Let me take a step back. I worked for the sports information director at Ripon so that was sort of my introduction. I liked it but whatever, I never thought about that as a career. Then I got talking to this NCAA rep and I was like this actually sounds pretty good. From there, I applied with her for a job with The Timber Rattlers as an intern and got that and spent my summer up there working like 80 hours a week. No pay, none! I loved it though, I was like, "This is what I want to do!" But at the time, the only school in the state of Wisconsin that offered sports management classes was UW Lacrosse. So Ripon didn't offer a sports management class much as a major. It was right at the beginning of sort of the sports boom if you will and I was a history major, philosophy minor. I tell kids all the time, it doesn't matter what you major in. Do what you want to do, find your love and you'll get if you have that passion for it, you'll find a way to make it work.   How then, do you find your way to The Milwaukee Admirals?   Honestly, it's as simple as my girlfriend at the time was living in Milwaukee. We had dated for three years at Ripon and I moved to Michigan, and she moved to Milwaukee and her mom was like, "What the heck is going on here?" So she was there and I was like, "Well if we're gonna if we're going to make a go at this, we could at least live in the same timezone," and so I just started emailing and calling all the teams and I had actually called The Admirals once, they said nothing's available and then I call them back and they said, "Oh, yeah, we've got a sales job open, send in your resume." I did and I interviewed some time, at the beginning, August, and I got offered the job a couple of days later, and then I started August 23.    Was the league The Admirals played in called The AHL back then?   It was the IHL. It would turn out to be the last year of the International Hockey League. It was an interesting time because both the IHL and the AHL developed players for the NHL, but the AHL had branded themselves as THE Developmental League. They weren't bringing in guys that were on the downsides of their NHL careers and that's what the IHL was doing. The IHL made some atrocious business decisions expanding all over the country. In the NHL lockout of 94-95, the IHL decided that they were going to replace the NHL and that they were going to compete with the NHL. That was a bad move because yeah, they had a TV contract and games run ESPN and it was cool at the time and San Francisco spiders, got some really cool jackets, but there was no vetting process for the ownership. It was just really about getting the initiation fee if you will and we'll go from there. There wound up being teams that were folding midseason, and it was bad news. By the year 2000, it was clear that the AHL, their business model was gonna win.   Was that a fascinating time to be around the game where some of the IHL teams were folding?   Yeah, so we had 11 teams in our league that year and six of those teams were absorbed into the American Hockey League. So it was us, Chicago Wolves, Grand Rapids Griffins, Houston Aeros, which no longer exists, Utah Grizzlies and they are now in the ECHL, and the Manitoba Moose. So now that those teams go into the AHL, and that's we've been there ever since.   What did your job look like the first year working with The Admirals?   So I was a Sales Account Executive and I did that for two years and then I was promoted to Director of Ticket Sales. Also, Jane Pettit, who is The Admirals owner and the greatest philanthropist the city of Milwaukee has ever known probably one of the greatest philanthropists ever died on September 9, 2001. This was the beginning of my second year, and it was almost fitting because two days later, September 11 happens and so her death was overshadowed and that's sort of the way I think she that she liked it, that's how she lived her life. She built so many buildings in Milwaukee, I mean think of all the buildings that have the name, Pettit or Bradley. So Jane dies and she leaves The Admirals in her estate and she leaves basically a set amount of money. So once we blow through that money, that's going to be about it. So when I started with the animals, we probably had 15 full-time people and by the time our current owner, Harris Turer bought the team in April of 200 we were down to four full-time employees. What's sort of a shame is those were the best teams that The Animals have ever had. We won tt Caler Cup in 2004 with six full-time people, and I was doing things that I had no business or idea what I was doing. It was literally flying by the seat of my pants.   Where were The Admirals playing then?   They were at the Bradley Center. So The Bradley center was built by the Pettits to attract an NHL team. Bradley is Jane Pettit's maiden name and she built the Bradley Center for 2 reasons; because The Bucks were gonna move because they were playing at The MECCA right which didn't have the revenue streams that they needed and because they wanted to lure an NHL team to Milwaukee. The Bradley Center when it opened in October of 1988 was the best arena in the country. The Bucks moved and The Admirals, it was a hockey game that started it. So the Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks and The Admirals had been averaging about 3000 fans at the mecca they didn't know how this was going to go and so they've really been pumping Wayne Gretzky coming in. Wayne is coming in he's gonna play and in beginning August Gretzky got traded to Edmonton which is crazy because the Bradly Center had a contract that said Gretzky and a bunch of other big players had to play in the game. So they sold out the building and it was a spectacle. It was awesome, but it was like a real snake bit and Wayne was supposed to be there and he wasn't. Now coincidentally he did play next year. Wayne did come and play the next year as a member of the Kings. The Kings played the Blackhawks in a preseason game that year.    So The Bradley center is where we were playing and the NHL team never happened for a couple of reasons. It's not because of the Blackhawks, everybody thinks it's because of the Blackhawks it is not because of the Blackhawks, so please get that out of your head! So we came into the league at the same time as Tampa Bay and we were up for expansion that same time as Tampa Bay and Ottawa and those were the two teams. Eventually, Milwaukee dropped out and a couple of other cities dropped out of the expansion bid and those are the only two teams left. So the NHL really only had the choice to give them to Tampa Bay and Ottawa. I think the admirals dropped out of the bidding in 1989, somewhere and there were a couple of reasons they did it. One was the expansion fee the NHL had pitched was $30 million and that's nothing compared to Seattle who just paid $600 million. But then The Animals General Manager had gone to Quebec City to see a Nordiques game, ostensibly to see sort of how they ran or how they were running their operations, and it was really because he was meeting with some of the owners on the expansion committee, and they told them like, "Hey our math is a very good and that $30 million expansion fee so sorry, it's actually $50 million." So basically doubling it. The Pettits had a lot of money and they could have paid it, but they also saw that the team was going to be really bad to start the year because the way they did the Expansion Draft and if anybody hockey fans out there, they know how the Seattle and Las Vegas have done it over the last couple of years. But the way they did the Expansion Draft back then was gonna make the team really bad for a really long time and they didn't know if Milwaukee would support a bad team for seven or eight years. As it turns out, Ottawa and Tampa were horrible for the first few years. But by 2004, Tampa had won it and I think in 2003 Ottawa made it to the finals. So we never got the team and it was very sad. It was a tough thing for the Pettits to admit, especially Lloyd Pettite as a Hockey Hall of Fame announcer with the Blackhawks, that was his goal and it just didn't work out. So Jane died and we had no money and we had no employees and we had this great team. Three times we had been this is the last season of The Admirals, your health insurance is gone and we're done. So it was a challenge, but it was a blast because every day was different and it was an adventure and we had an awesome team. So we just kept putting one step in front of the other end, you can only take it one day at a time, like literally one day at a time.    What was it like winning The Calder Cup with 6 full-time employees?    It was crazy! We win the Calder Cup, we had no money so we had to rent a 15 passenger van to drive out two of our staff out to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. So Mike Wojciechowski, who has been with the animals for 40 years, he's driving it. Funny story, we get pulled over and driving through the mountains out in western Pennsylvania and we get pulled over go like 95 miles an hour in a 15 passenger van. Woj, as you can tell by his last name, he's Polish and the officer is Polish to it and Mike says something like, "Come on, can't you help a fellow countryman out!" So we got the ticket and went on our way and we won it and had a turn around the next day and get right back in the 15 passenger van. We won it on a Sunday, June 6, 2004, and had to drive back because on Tuesday night we're having a party at the Bradley Center. So we met the team at the airport because they flew because that was actually paid for by the league, the league pays for travel in the playoffs. So we met the team there and it was awesome because there were so many fans at the airport. Back then, sure it was a thing for major league sports, but that didn't happen in minor league sports. 26 years, The Admirals had been a professional team at that point and never won anything made it to the finals and it was so cool. The next night we had a big event at the Bradley Center and it was just amazing. Then the following year Harris Turer bought the team and literally saved The Admirals. If it's not for Harris Turer, The Admirals are gone, there are no Admirals, and he led a consortium of about 15 local business people and hockey people to buy The Admirals and, and he realized this is a community and we were a community Now we're back up to over 15 or 16 people, it's crazy! I think to myself sometimes like, "How did we possibly do it?" And it was different to like, there was no social media, we had a website, if you updated it the next day, that's fine. So there wasn't as much immediacy, but still, there was a lot, a lot, a lot to do.   When did you officially move into the role of Vice President of Communications?   So I was a Director of Ticket Sales for one year and then the next year, the PR guy left and so I had to take over his duties. So I really never got the official title of Communications Director and then after Harris bought the team, I knew I wanted to do communications, that was what I was passionate about. So I went and saw John Greenberg, who was brought along as Team President by Harris and we had some chats and he said, "Well, let's take the ticket sales off of your plate, and you can go be the Vice President of Communications."   And so much more...   Be sure to click the link below to check out The Admirals' website! https://www.milwaukeeadmirals.com/

Strategize for your future work success to find and do the work of your dreams. Paired with dreams, exploration, and action, strategy helps us to achieve career success. These four components weave together like DNA, in countless combinations, to create a pathway for people to seek and do meaningful work. In this episode, Dan Smolen recalls an experience from his junior year of college. Back then, he engaged with Associate Professor of Advertising Howard Cogan. Howard was also a successful advertising executive who wrote, voiced, and produced radio commercials. As Dan's mentor, Howard encouraged Dan to pursue opportunities in a channel of advertising agency work called direct marketing. Dan recalls Howard's sage advice to strategize for future work success: "You're going too need to get strategic about your career. [It looks like] you may not find your opportunity on the agency side quickly. But, perhaps you can find an entry-level assignment that's close enough and allows you to develop direct marketing skills and talents that you will need in agency life." Two years into that first role, Dan had proven himself to be an on-the-job success. And the skill and experience he gained helped him land a dream agency assignment in Minneapolis/St. Paul. He was just 24 years old. Also in this episode: Dan speaks with Rich Gee of Rich Gee High Performance Coaching. Employee ownership works. Companies perform better and employees end up with substantially more wealth. But employee ownership is still the exception. Share plans in the UK aim to replicate USA Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), but, unlike in the USA model, employee ownership trusts in the UK are not set up so that employees typically benefit from the growth in share value in their accounts over time. The model in the USA encourages focus on long-term growth; the UK model focuses on short-term dividend payouts. This webinar will look into what can be done to move employee ownership forward, what lessons can be learned from ESOPs in the USA, and what companies can do to make their own employee ownership plans more effective. Speakers: Corey Rosen is the founder of the National Center for Employee Ownership, a private, nonprofit membership, information, and research organization in Oakland, CA. He is the author or co-author of over 100 articles and numerous books on employee ownership, and co-author (with John Case and Martin Staubus) of Equity: Why Employee Ownership is Good for Business (Harvard Business School Press, 2005). Can Hampshire College rise, if not from the dead, from the higher ed death watch list? Harvard Business School professor Clay Christensen has predicted that as many as half of all US colleges and universities will close or go bankrupt over the next decade, and a year ago it looked like Hampshire would be one of them. The Amherst college, founded in 1970 with a commitment to rethinking traditional liberal arts education, said it was in dire financial straits and would be seeking a “strategic partner” to merge with. The college, which depends almost entirely on tuition revenue to operate, seemed to push itself closer to the fiscal cliff by then announcing it would not accept a new entering class this fall. The news of Hampshire's death, however, has been premature. Students, faculty, and alumni rose up in protest against the planned merger, and within months the college president who said it was the only viable path had resigned, along with the leaders of the college board of trustees who backed the plan. The remaining college leaders declared they would instead mount an aggressive fundraising drive and pursue other reforms to remain an independent college. Now charged with leading that effort is Ed Wingenbach, who arrived in August as Hampshire's new president. For a guy facing a very tall task, the veteran college administrator -- most recently at Ripon College in Wisconsin -- sounded enthusiastic and upbeat as he talked about the challenge on The Codcast. The college has about 730 students after what Wingenbach calls the “self-induced crisis” of not enrolling a new class this fall.

Outrageous: Some colleges have banned posters of 9/11 because they show Radical Islamists perpetrating terrorism and they don’t want to hurt Muslims’ feelings!? This is unbelievable, but true. The Radical Islamists should have thought about not hurting Muslims’ feelings before they flew planes into the World Trade Center. Ripon College, in Wisconsin, for example, has allowed their ‘college bias team’ to rule that 9/11 ‘Never Forget’ posters are “inflammatory and unacceptable.” School officials told members of Young America’s Foundation that the posters focus “relentlessly on one religious organization… associating that one religious identity with terrorist attacks,” creating an environment in which “students from a Muslim background would feel singled out” or “harassed.” This is not the first time that colleges have reacted negatively to students wanting to honor the victims of 9/11. A professor at Saddleback College, in 2016, tore down the posters and ripped them up. Not only is this disrespectful to the victims of 9/11 and their families, but it also perpetuates a culture of denial - teaching students that the threat of terrorism no longer exists. Just this past week, it was reported that a U.S. drone strike may have killed Ibrahim Hasan al-Asiri, al-Qaeda’s chief bomb maker. Yet, even if these reports are true, there are still countless bomb makers that Asiri has taught over the years, who will carry on his legacy. So, we must ’Never Forget’ that the terrorism threat is not dead.

Chris talks Division III v. Division II, treatment of officials, and the fastest growing sport.   Introduction: Hey everyone and welcome to the All-Star Leader Podcast, where together we learn about leadership from the best and brightest, and keep it fun by connecting it to our passion for sports! I'm your host Daniel Hare, and today we are talking with the Commissioner of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Chris Graham. Chris is in his fourth year at the RMAC after serving 14 years at the Midwest Conference, most recently as its Executive Director. Chris was also an all-conference baseball and basketball player at Ripon College in Ripon, WI, before beginning his journey up the college athletics ladder in the field of sports information. This is Chris Graham. Chris thanks so much for coming on the show! Interview Questions: Tell us first about Ripon College. How did you get there and what was the experience like? Harrison Ford is most famous alum Small/private liberal arts college; in the Midwest Conference Rich athletic tradition; worked on campus there for several years before getting into conference work You've now had significant experience at both the Division II and Division III level. What distinguishes the two, and if you were looking to advance in a college athletics career, how would you go about determining which was best suited for you? Very different from D1 where money and legal issues prevail Some anonymity depending on where you are, though Division II more and more has exposure through television and being the largest school in its region. Amateurism works and is special and there's a place for it. D3 and D2 are secure in that; the partial athletic scholarship model of Division II sets it apart. Tweet which said D3 athletes should stop talking about accepting offers, but in fact that is what they are doing, even though there isn't athletic scholarship. There is plenty of opportunity for financial aid, including academic. Most parents putting money into summer and club sports for their young kids are not going to see a return on that investment, and would be better off pursuing academic aid. Creates an identity for the young person defined entirely by their sport. Among the various schools and athletic departments you have the opportunity to observe over the years, what are some of the traits you've noticed in those who are regularly successful? Take the finance piece out of it Someone who can inspire, who has a consistent model they believe in, and can get kids to believe in you and your system Believe/trust in their people You sell folks on the opportunity to do something special You began your career in the sports information / media relations side of the house. And now with social/digital media there is both pressure to and opportunity in shifting skills, resources and priorities to those emerging tools and platforms. How have you seen that play out in your conference office as well as on campuses from a culture change standpoint, and what can our audience learn about how best to address a changing landscape? When he started in D3 he used a mimeograph Now infographics are big; get photo from website, add graphics, etc. The student-athletes deserve that You almost have to have a full-time video person in the office, but few have the resources to do that. Good but challenging stress on campus sports information departments because of the new tools Control and target your content; getting it out in greater depth with the audience. Dallas Stars guy was let go from ESPN and is now doing content directly for the Stars When you first became the Commissioner of the Midwest Conference, what was the most important initiative or goal you pursued and how did you accomplish it? First full-time employee the league had ever had Goal to get policies/procedures that would enhance student-athlete experience at events, etc. Same question but at the RMAC. Different situation Things were in pretty good shape; did want to attack issues with officiating; Similar concerns across the division at other conferences; lack of people willing to do it and not enough training; Think about how we treat officials…do we treat anyone else or any other profession that way Our expectations are too high for officials; we expect them to be perfect; and even more than that, we don't know what the right call is but think we do (How are you treating people; that's really what this is about) Something I like to ask all our guests who have worked in conference offices: how do you go about getting individual schools to put their own best interest aside for the greater good of the conference? (if at all?!) Delicate process Fortunate to have good presidents and ADs who are reasonable and buy in Make sure that everyone understands the conference mission statement and values; mission statement is on the back of name tents Ask the question: what are we here for? Can't we agree on…? ADs have to advocate for their coaches and programs, but then look at the best interest of the conference. Flip the roles and consider whether you would go for what the other coach/program is saying Before we wind up with our rapid fire questions, I do want to ask you about the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. How did you get involved with that and what does the organization do? Can you speak to the growth trajectory of lacrosse and where it's heading as a sport over the next 10 to 20 years? Fastest growing sports on the women's side Officials needed! Five rapid fire questions Name one trait or characteristic you look for when you hire someone. commitment What habit has been key to your success? listening Most important app or productivity tool?
