Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHIt's photoshoot time! Everyone is out there waiting including Alicia and Gail. Gail is like last night, I let Alicia down. Not today! Kerry and her daughters are there and I'm pretty convinced Alexandrea doesn't wanna be there. Rob tells his girlfriend Donna about meeting Paul and Andrew on the ship but obviously doesn't tell her about what they talked about. Cut to Paul trying to get Tyler and Kimberley in on the wedding ceremony. So they show everyone getting like 7 seconds to take a picture with everyone. Hynes is down there just goofing off. Rob and Donna come in and Paul is like ROB - making him look awesome in front of Donna. Paige gives Tyler a bracket with her name in it which is wild. Afterwards, Alexandrea was like you should make another bracelet with your number in it. Gail and Alicia meet Betty Hynes who is just the best. They ask her “is Tyler the same on screen and off” and Betty says “he's the bad boy for Hallmark for a reason”. Betty is a star, Paige and Alexandrea are hanging out, and she tells her about moving back to California and how she is nervous to tell mom. Remember Nate and his grandmas? Nate is just soaking up people telling him happy birthday, and I can't stress this enough - it's not his birthday. They're shopping at the hallmark store when Erin Cahill walks up and Erin is like Nate you're the best, happy birthday. And they bond over their mutual love of their grandmas, and Erin buys them everything they have in their hands! Lori and her sister talk about how to get their Christmas screenplay in front of someone at Hallmark. Donna is in the gym now and of course Nikki DeLoach is there. What are the odds?! And they bond. She talks about her brain surgery, Nikki talks about a rabbi she really likes. It's sweet. Gail and Alicia are hanging out and Alicia is like hey I booked us an ATV excision in the Bahamas. Gail is not thrilled by this. But she agrees to give it a shot. Rob and Donna get together for drinks with Kerry and her daughters and it's a whole thing. They bond over surgeries and then Donna and Kerry's daughter go to the bar and  Rob tells Kerry his plan and she says her daughter will do Donna's makeup. Plan is really coming together! The script sisters magically bumped in Benjamin Ayers and Sarah Drew and she pitched them the script and they love it. She asks if they will read it and they just kinda stare at each other. Gail gets on the ATV and chickens out. So Kerry and her daughters go to swim with the pigs which is run by Shane Gillis doing a Bahamian accent. Afterward, Paige tells her mom she wants to move to California. She's not thrilled. And then episode ends with Rob, ring box in hand on the beach of the Bahamas, getting ready to propose.

We conclude this series this week with Part 3. To make it easier for you to remember the outline for the last two weeks we've included all three weeks below.  Part 1 It is hard. Life is busy all by itself, but caring for aging parents doubles or triples the load. Some parents are pretty much on their own all the way through life, but others need lots of help and care.   As much as possible, plan ahead before care is needed. Talk with all the family who is involved or who will be. If possible, purchase insurance plans that will help. Perhaps pay for them as a family. Secure wills and power of attorneys and bank accounts and all that while it can be done easily. Have a plan as to who is in charge and who will help and how it will be done. Be prepared for misunderstanding and difficult responses Remember truth when accusations are made Remember truth when challenges occur   Part 2 It needs to be a WE affair and not a ME affair Get everyone involved Brothers and sisters Typically best to give someone power of attorney Typically best to give someone the power of the money Aunts and uncles They can spend nights They can transport to appointments Sons and daughters If you parents live with you, the kids can help with them Spouse Communicate Prioritize On both sides The one who is care-giving needs love and understanding as they give to their parent The one who is married to the care-giver needs the same as they give to their spouse Everyone should get involved One person likely cannot do it by themselves Each person must shoulder some responsibility Make it a practical matter Prepare wisely Think ahead while the decision is easy Decide ahead of time as many things as possible Have a will Have a living will Have all information and important papers located and available Plan carefully Sit down with as many people as possible to make a plan Someone should be designated as the one who “takes-charge” Talk continually Keep everyone in the loop Keep everyone organized Perhaps use a group text morning and evening   Part 3              4.  Schedule specific responsibilities Living arrangements Driving arrangements Appointments Events Financial arrangements Know your limitations Some things can be done Some things cannot be done Some times you need a break Never allow yourself to feel guilty for taking a break when it is needed Some questions How do you handle difficult parents? Do the right thing The right thing is to keep caring The right thing may be to allow someone else to do the caring Do the hard thing You may have to choose a nursing home You many have to choose assisted living Allow someone to have veto power over your decisions? By that I mean limited veto power Limited by time (they can override for a set amount of time) How do you handle parents with whom you have little or no relationship? Prayerfully Pray about it Seek counsel as you pray Wisely If you have no relationship, you do not have to carry the burden of responsibility  If you have a damaged relationship, seek to make things right If you cannot make things right, you may need to allow others to serve as the care-giver and you serve as a helper . . .

Shawna explains how to style with intention—even if you're just starting out Key points discussed include: - Props tell a story: Use props to create mood, emotion, and visual interest that complements the food. - Start simple: Matte plates, smaller sizes, and herbs go a long way in making your photos more appealing. - Use what you have: Ingredients from the recipe can be great props—parsley, citrus, grains, etc. - Add texture and layering: Linens, vintage silverware, and wood add warmth and dimension to your scenes. - Think outside the box: Shawna shares how she uses wrapping paper, fabric, and even custom pottery in her shoots. - Plan around timing: For time-sensitive food like ice cream, prep your scene ahead of styling. - Create with intention: Take test photos, make adjustments, and let the photo evolve as you shoot. - Vintage and handmade props add depth: Seek out one-of-a-kind items from thrift stores, flea markets, or eBay to spark nostalgia and emotional connection. Pastor Andy brings us a message about trust, faith, and God's divine intentions in "When God Has a Plan." We are reminded that God doesn't simply create—He plans, and those plans are for our good, to prosper us and give us hope and a future, even when we don't understand the path. Trusting God's plan requires moving beyond just expecting from Him to recognizing that He expects something of us too, and ultimately surrendering to a greater purpose that includes us in His work on Earth. 7. Quelles applications pouvons-nous faire du psaume 39? Textes complémentaires: Job 14 ; Psaume 90 (repas du Seigneur)

Psalm 13 - Speaker: Josh Lankford - This summer, we have heard all sorts of Psalms expounded and applied. We've learned from Psalms of thanksgiving, wisdom, testimony, pilgrimage, and lament. Although Psalm 13 is another in the "lament" category, it has a different flavor than the others. This one is not just about trials, but God's seeming absence in them. David is asking, "Where is God in my trials?" And, "How can we trust God if it seems like he isn't even there?" When we can't find God in our pain, and it seems like he's left us behind, there is something yet to trust. There is something to grab on to and keep us going, even if we feel like God is not there. Plan to come this Sunday with your honest hurts. But also plan to hear God give you new hope in his steadfast love.
