On this episode of Crazy Wisdom, Stewart Alsop talks with Larry Diamond, co-founder of Healing with the Diamonds, about his journey from severe metabolic illness to vibrant health and his work helping others do the same. They explore topics like heart-brain coherence, the alchemical journey, insulin resistance, seed oils, and the deeper spiritual dimensions of healing, weaving in references to David Hawkins, Rupert Sheldrake, and the lost wisdom of the divine feminine. Larry shares insights on metabolic testing, ancestral eating, and the importance of authentic living, while also touching on the role of parasites—his term for the forces keeping humanity in fear and incoherence. You can find more about Larry and his work, as well as access his consulting, at healingwiththediamonds.com, on Instagram and Facebook at Healing with the Diamonds, or listen in iTunes to his upcoming podcast.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Stewart Alsop introduces Larry Diamond of Healing with the Diamonds; they discuss his healing journey, health coaching, and the meaning of heart-brain coherence.05:00 Alchemical journey, crystals, the hero's journey, integrating masculine and feminine energies, and the idea of parasites feeding on fear.10:00 Kindness vs niceness, morphic fields, Rupert Sheldrake's theories, and quantum entanglement as evidence of interconnectedness.15:00 Scientism vs true science, metabolic illness, citizen science, Larry's 2013 health transformation.20:00 Metabolic syndrome, C-reactive protein, fasting insulin, insulin resistance, and Larry's weight loss story.25:00 Seed oils, refined carbs, ultra-processed foods, and strategies for restoring metabolic health.30:00 Carb cycling, primal eating, intuitive healing, and ancestral wisdom.35:00 Spirituality beyond religion, Yeshua vs Jesus, divine feminine, and writing your own gospel.40:00 Living authentically, kindness in daily life, and finding healing in sovereignty and connection.Key InsightsLarry Diamond shares how his journey from severe metabolic illness to vibrant health became the foundation for Healing with the Diamonds. He explains how hitting rock bottom in 2013 inspired him to reject mainstream dietary advice and embrace a primal, whole foods approach that reversed his insulin resistance and helped him lose over 100 pounds.A major theme of the conversation is heart-brain coherence, which Larry describes as essential for true wisdom and discernment. He connects this to ancient teachings, referencing Yeshua's “sword of discernment” and suggesting that Western culture intentionally suppressed this knowledge to keep people in fear and mental fragmentation. The episode explores the alchemical journey as a metaphor for inner transformation, likening it to Joseph Campbell's hero's journey. Larry emphasizes integrating masculine and feminine energies and overcoming ego as key steps in remembering our divine nature and embodying authenticity.Larry critiques scientism, which he calls the inversion of true science, and encourages listeners to reclaim citizen science as a path to health sovereignty. He shares practical tools like testing for C-reactive protein, A1C, fasting insulin, and using triglycerides-to-HDL ratios to assess metabolic health. He identifies the “Big Four” dietary culprits—seed oils, refined carbs, ultra-processed foods, and sugar—as drivers of chronic illness and advocates returning to ancestral foods rich in natural fats and nutrients. He stresses that flavor and enjoyment are critical for sustainable healing. On the spiritual side, Larry reframes the Abrahamic religions as distortions of deeper wisdom traditions, contrasting the figure of Yeshua (aligned with love and sovereignty) with the institutionalized Jesus narrative. He highlights the divine feminine, Sophia, as a source of intuition and co-creation with the cosmos. Finally, Larry encourages listeners to “write your own gospel and live your own myth,” seeing authentic, kind, and sovereign living as both a spiritual and practical act of resistance to what he calls the parasite class—forces of fear and manipulation seeking to block human awakening.

"Once a quarter, I buy my own company. I step back and ask—what works, what doesn't, and where the opportunity is." — Hannah Kain, CEO of ALOM What does it take to turn a nascent idea in an unfamiliar country into a global success? In this episode of On the Brink with Andi Simon, I had the pleasure of speaking with Hannah Kain, CEO and President of ALOM, a trailblazing supply chain company that began in 1997 and now operates across 20 global locations. Hannah's story is more than a business success—it's a masterclass in innovation, agility, and values-driven leadership. A Leap of Faith—a Vision and a Purpose Born and raised in Denmark, Hannah enjoyed a thriving political and business career before she and her husband bought one-way tickets to the U.S. in 1990. What followed was a journey of reinvention and opportunity. By 1997, Hannah founded ALOM in the heart of Silicon Valley, identifying early on the opportunity to use technology to enhance supply chain operations—well before “supply chain” was a mainstream concept. From the beginning, ALOM was built on innovation. When the company opened its doors, they launched with customer portals and real-time visibility—now standard, but then revolutionary. Their first revenue came from floppy disk duplication. When that technology faded, Hannah pivoted, embracing e-commerce and expanding into regulated industries, always asking: what's next? Mind Games for Modern CEOs One of the most striking takeaways from our conversation is how Hannah rethinks her company—regularly. “Once a quarter,” she says, “I buy my own company.” She imagines herself as an outsider, assessing the business with fresh eyes. What would she keep? What needs to go? What opportunities are emerging? This “buy-your-own-business” mindset keeps her ahead of disruption. This is a deeply anthropological approach—stepping outside your own story to see it anew. It's also core to a Blue Ocean Strategy: shed the outdated, build the new, and serve unmet needs. Innovation, Values, and Culture are What Really Matter While Hannah is passionate about technology and supply chain solutions, her foundation is rooted in values—innovation, collaboration, quality, and diversity. Culture, she believes, isn't a side conversation—it's a strategic priority. And when values misalign, even a high performer may not be the right fit. Culture can make or break agility. “Personnel decisions are more strategic than we think,” Hannah observes, especially in fast-changing environments. You will enjoy watching our Podcast on YouTube: The Future is Here—If You Can See It We explored how Hannah navigates today's volatile supply chain world: tariffs, technology, talent shortages, and trade wars. She shared how she mitigates risks—like storing lithium batteries in an award-winning facility designed specifically for safety—and how she balances immediate challenges with long-term strategic thinking. Her approach? Plan for 95% and build agility for the remaining 5%. “If you don't plan for 95%, you'll be stuck firefighting 100%.” Data, Intuition, and Ecosystems Data is vital, Hannah says—but data alone is not enough. “It's the rearview mirror. You need to look out the windshield.” What she's really looking for is meaning—trends, risks, and opportunities derived from experience, context, and yes, intuition. She credits much of her insight to exploring the entire ecosystem—talking to employees, clients, suppliers, and staying deeply embedded in industry networks. She also emphasized that leaders must separate the urgent from the important, and prioritize the tasks that drive long-term value. What's Next? Hannah believes AI will be transformative in supply chain logistics—especially in image recognition, predictability, and precision. She's skeptical of blockchain until there's wide-scale collaboration, but excited by AI's capacity to reduce risk and increase agility. Her parting wisdom? Don't get stuck managing risk so tightly that you miss opportunity. Reinvention is possible—and necessary. And it begins, quite literally, with a morning shower and one powerful question: “What's the most important thing I can do for my ecosystem today?” Where to learn more about Hannah Kain and the work she is doing: Hannah's Profile: linkedin.com/in/hannahkain Website: alom.com (ALOM) Email: hkain@alom.com Listen to these other podcasts or read the blogs about them: 442: Joyce Salzberg is Changing Lives Through Early Intervention 436: Women, #WorkSchoolHours Can Transform Your Life 429: Embracing the Future: How Matt Leta is Guiding Companies Connect with me: Website: www.simonassociates.net Email: info@simonassociates.net Books: Learn more about our books here: Rethink: Smashing the Myths of Women in Business Women Mean Business: Over 500 Insights from Extraordinary Leaders to Spark Your Success On the Brink: A Fresh Lens to Take Your Business to New Heights Listen + Subscribe: Available wherever you get your podcasts—Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, YouTube, and more. Spiritual is vertical between you and a "higher power". Religion is horizontal between you and a group of like minded beliefs with no real connection with any perceived or believed "higher power". Atheism goes against who we are personally. Life doesn't work when we go against our own innate nature. In this Part 2 I continue to explore the ins and outs of the different facets of these varying belief systems. Spiritual traditions have deep roots and have proven themselves over centuries to produce fruit. On the path, we experience the longing of the heart, the intuition of what is possible for a human being. Longing has no conclusion, no end. Our survival instinct has a limit, but longing has no limit. It's unusual for someone to be interested in traditional spiritual training unless they are with a group of people who have experienced longing. When spiritual life becomes stronger than survival instinct, training becomes personal and we may find that we cannot work through life long obstacles on our own. Many want training on their terms. The price for training is deeply held beliefs. Traditional training has the strength and clarity to produce calm-centered knowing. Many self-announced teachers have no accountability. The fruit of longing has the quality of having no life of one's own, described in the traditions as a mood of joy, delight, relief, gratitude, and discovery. Effort is needed to develop fearlessness and mental stamina. We almost always make decisions based on invisible motivations. We pick up influences that trigger a physical and subtle response and pass them on to each other. Our choices are colored by the influences we have collected. Intuition of the Beloved can carry us. The content of spiritual traditions may no longer suit the context of cultural situations. The content falls away; the context can never fall away. The practitioner's greatest gift is to hold their seat and practice invisibly. We can develop an aim for spiritual life and make decisions based on that aim. When we're talking about traditional spiritual training, it's all about relationship. Lalitha is a spiritual teacher with an ashram in British Columbia, Canada, who was empowered by her master Lee Lozowick in 1998. Her books include Waking to Ordinary Life and Cultivating Spiritual Maturity.

In this episode, I'm joined by Lesley Logan, a speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of Online Pilates Classes, who brings so much wisdom to the table when it comes to building confidence, tuning into your intuition, and redefining self-care on your own terms. While Lesley is known for her work in the Pilates world, this conversation goes far beyond movement. We talk about what it means to quiet the noise, let go of hustle culture, and create a life that's led by intention—not pressure.

What if the aches in your body aren't entirely yours? The shoulder pain, the gut tension, or the sense of incompletion might not just be physical. It could be the echo of a secret held for decades, maybe even generations? Because here's the thing: families hold secrets, but those secrets have a way of leaking out or leaving breadcrumbs. And if you're connected to your intuition, you can sense that there's something that's not being said. Most of us were taught to look forward, to toughen up, to leave the past behind. But what if that very suppression is why we can't move forward? What if freedom lives not in forgetting, but in remembering? In this episode, we're joined by spiritual strategist, energy healer, and psychic medium, Christina Trifero. We unpack the heavy cost of secrecy and the methods we can use to bring the unknown and unspoken out into the open. We also discuss how to be a healer without hero-ing yourself or compromising your own essence. Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Secrets live in the body Could physical pain or chronic tension be carrying an emotional secret? How does naming what was once unspeakable change your relationship with your body? -Intuition vs. inheritance What's the difference between your soul's knowing and your family's emotional programming? How can you tell what's truly you and what's been passed down? -How not to be a vessel for other people's pain If you're deeply empathetic or energetically sensitive, how do you hold others without absorbing their suffering? Ambitious-ish: Success Without Burnout for Smart, Driven Women
How much time and energy do you spend feeling disrespected or unheard? Many high-achieving women find themselves ruminating over moments when they feel overlooked or ignored, whether it's a boss talking over them or a partner not acknowledging their contributions. These feelings can chip away at trust and collaboration, leaving us emotionally drained. But here's the truth: feeling disrespected is optional. It's not about other people's behavior, but about how we choose to interpret it. In this episode, we break down how feeling disrespected comes from our thoughts, not someone else's actions. We talk about how our brain adds meaning to neutral events, like someone interrupting us, and how those thoughts create emotional responses. By separating facts from interpretations, we can regain our power and stop outsourcing our worth to others. You'll learn how to stop reacting emotionally and start responding from a place of strategy and clarity. Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: https://www.ambitious-ish.com/72
In this episode of An Intuitive Life, I'm sharing something deeply personal—and wildly liberating:Why I don't sleep in the same bed as my husband. Before you assume anything, let me say this...We've been together for over 25 years, married for 22, and this decision has absolutely nothing to do with disconnect…and everything to do with redefining intimacy, honoring nervous system needs, and living in alignment with our truth, not someone else's version of it.This episode is for you if:You've ever overridden your body's wisdom to “keep the peace”You're craving space but feel guilty asking for itYou're curious about what a truly intuitive relationship could look likeI share the origin of this decision (hint: it started in our son's baby years), the subtle signs my body sent, the reaction from family, and how this one bold move has brought more honesty, rest, and connection into our life. This is what an intuitive life really looks like:Not always easy. Not always “normal.”But always real.
Are you following your intuition—or just letting fear call the shots? In this episode, we break down how to recognize the difference between your heart voice and your fear voice. You'll learn the key traits that separate true inner guidance from the voices shaped by ego, trauma, and conditioning. I share a simple framework to help you identify which voice is speaking in the moment, plus a powerful mental analogy that will change how you relate to inner dialogue forever. We'll also get into how meditation plays a role in turning up the volume on your heart voice—and how your life shifts when you stop outsourcing your big decisions. If you've ever felt stuck, second-guessed yourself, or wondered why your “gut” sometimes leads you astray, this one's for you.Listen in, and start rewiring your internal compass today.Send us a text message.
