The U.S. House just voted 215-208 to invoke the War Powers Act and force an end to America's illegal war for Israel in Iran. Four Republicans — Thomas Massie, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tom Barrett, and Warren Davidson — joined every Democrat and told the White House the slaughter needs to stop.
Long-term sobriety can be a strange phase because from the outside, things might look pretty good. But internally, you might still have this feeling of, “Is this it?” And that can be really confusing because you did it. You made it past the constant cravings, the social anxiety, the awkward firsts, the nights where you had to white-knuckle your way through. So when you get a couple years in and you still feel restless, bored, unfulfilled, or like something is missing, it can make you start questioning the whole thing. You might think, “Maybe sobriety isn't enough.” Or, “Maybe I did all this work and my life still feels kind of flat.” Or, “I thought I'd be happier by now.” And this is where people can get tripped up, because they interpret that dissatisfaction as a sobriety problem. They think the issue is that sobriety didn't deliver enough. But that's not usually what's happening. Early sobriety is about protection. Middle sobriety is about understanding your patterns. But long-term sobriety is about expansion. It's about asking, “Now that I'm not drinking, what am I actually building?” It's about making sure the life you built is worth staying present for. This week on Spiritual Shit, Alea Lovely breaks down one of the most beautiful and tender transits of the year — Jupiter and Venus conjunct in Cancer. Both benefic planets coming together in the sign of home, nurturing, and emotional depth creates a rare window of expansion, love, and abundance that we absolutely need to be paying attention to.Alea walks you through what this conjunction means energetically, why Cancer is such a powerful placement for these two planets, and how this transit is activating different areas of your life depending on your chart. Then, she pulls it back down to earth with a live reading for her audience — calling out exactly what to watch for, what to open yourself up to, and where the universe is asking you to receive. From your relationships and home life to your finances and emotional healing, this is a transit you don't want to sleep on.If you've been waiting for a green light, this might just be it. Tune in, take notes, and let the benefics work for you. And if you need a little guidance, your fairy godmother is here. ✨ New episodes every week. This episode is brought to you by Redefining Wealth LIVE. Join me for the transformational experience that will challenge the way you think about success, wealth, and well-being. Redefining Wealth LIVE is where purpose-driven individuals come together to gain clarity, alignment, and momentum in creating lives that truly reflect their values. If you're ready to break free from default thinking and step into a more fulfilled, abundant life, don't miss this event. ✨ About This Season: The Anatomy of Alignment This season of Redefining Wealth is dedicated to unpacking what alignment really means — not as a buzzword, but as structure. We're dissecting how misalignment impacts each of the Six Pillars of Wealth — FIT, PEOPLE, SPACE, FAITH, WORK, and MONEY — and what it truly costs when we tolerate what drains us. Each episode builds on the last. So subscribe and journey with us as we move from awakening… to redefining… to actualizing. Episode Summary In today's episode, we explore the grief that can accompany alignment. Reflecting on a transformative week in Mexico, Patrice shares what happens when choosing yourself is the right decision—but still breaks your heart. Through vulnerable storytelling, she unpacks the emotions that surfaced after releasing something she genuinely loved and reminds listeners that growth often requires grieving what no longer fits. Patrice challenges the tendency to romanticize the past and offers practical ways to navigate difficult transitions, including creating a “truth list” and reassigning meaning to endings. Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that grief is not proof you made the wrong choice—it's often proof that something mattered. Alignment may come with loss, but it also creates space for a life rooted in purpose, truth, and self-trust. Questions to Ask Yourself: What am I grieving right now, even though I know I made the right decision? Have I been intellectualizing my emotions instead of actually feeling them? What truths am I overlooking because I'm romanticizing the past? Where have I mistaken grief as evidence that I should go back? How can I reassign meaning to this season instead of labeling it a failure? What would it look like to trust myself more deeply in this next chapter? Want to Redefine Wealth for Yourself? Start Here:
Hello, beautiful souls! Welcome back to the Angels & Awakening Podcast. I'm your host and author, Julie Jancis. Friends, this meditation is one of the most powerful ones I have ever recorded. Every single one of us stores stress, fear, worry and pain inside our physical body. Today we are clearing it out — all the way down to the last particle — with Archangel Raphael, Archangel Michael, and your entire personal wellness angel team.
In the film Where the Wild Things Are, a boy in a wolf suit discovers what most of us already know but rarely say out loud: loving others is hard. The wild things wanted a king who could keep them together and shield them from sadness — but no king, no matter how great, can do that. And neither can we. In this beautifully crafted episode, Sophia Bricker weaves together film, literature, Scripture, and raw honesty to name something we all experience but often feel guilty admitting — that love, in all its forms, is messy, costly, and sometimes feels beyond us. C.S. Lewis wrote that to love at all is to be vulnerable — that a heart given to anyone will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. Yet Jesus, who knew this better than anyone, chose to love anyway. He gave up divine privilege, took on human flesh, and died a criminal's death — not because it was easy, but because love requires sacrifice. Paul's instruction to the Philippians was simple and staggering all at once: have the same mindset as Christ in your relationships. That kind of love — wildly generous, sacrificial, seeking the good of others above our own — is not natural to us. But it is possible. Not through sheer willpower, but through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in us, mirroring back the love we have already received from the nail-scarred hands of God. Today's Bible Verse "Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross." — Philippians 2:6-8, NLT Ponder Today Loving others is hard — and admitting that is not a failure of faith. Every family, friendship, and community experiences conflict, hurt, and misunderstanding. Acknowledging the difficulty of love is the first honest step toward growing in it. To love is to be vulnerable. As C.S. Lewis reminds us, a heart kept safely away from others is a heart that never truly loves. The risk of being hurt is not a reason to withhold love — it is the very nature of it. Jesus is the ultimate model of sacrificial love. He did not cling to comfort or divine privilege. He entered our mess, bore our sin, and loved us at great personal cost. That is the standard — and the Spirit in us makes it possible. We are not more deserving of love than those we struggle to love. As Sophia asks so pointedly — are we not equally guilty of breaking a heart or speaking a careless word? Remembering our own need for grace softens us toward others who need it too. A Prayer for You Today Savior, I am amazed by Your choice to enter this broken world, taking the curse of sin upon Yourself to save all people. Who am I that I should receive such love? Yet I confess that I struggle to love those around me — people with pasts and flaws not so different from my own. Work in me to produce the fruit of sacrificial, wildly generous love that seeks nothing other than to reflect what You have given me. Produce in me by Your Spirit a new way of life marked by grace and mercy — and the courage to love, even when it's hard. In Your name, Jesus, Amen. Don't Miss an Episode If today's prayer stirred your heart toward someone you've been finding hard to love, we'd love to stay connected. Iran has officially walked away from negotiations with the United States. The so-called peace process was never legitimate – it was sabotaged by Israel from the first day to guarantee failure and clear the path for Greater Israel. Jeff Berwick is here dropping bombs on how empty oil tankers, crashing reserves, and exploding prices are all part of the Great Reset to destroy our economy and lock us into digital prisons and smart city slavery. We also talk real freedom — ditching their toxic systems, growing your own food, and the insane miracle healing happening with Tesla tech in the Tzla Club.

Reversal - Software stocks bounced this week on strong results from Snowflake and Okta, which both recorded their best days on record. - The results signal that investors may have been too quick to declare the end of software with the emergence of artificial intelligence. - Even as AI displaces certain tools and job functions, many software companies continue to show growth, assisted by their own AI products. - The iShares Expanded Tech-Software exchange-traded fund rose 8% this week and closed May up 21%, the best monthly performance for the ETF since October 2001. - With this month's rally, the iShares software ETF is only down 3.8% for the year, still badly trailing the Nasdaq, which has gained 18% in 2026. Snowflake - Amazon said Wednesday that its cloud division has landed a $6 billion spending commitment from Snowflake, which includes the use of the company's custom silicon and chips for artificial intelligence. - Snowflake's purchase of services and technology from Amazon Web Services will occur over five years, according to a press release about the agreement. - Snowflake intends to expand its use of Amazon's Graviton general-purpose chips, as well as cloud-based graphics processing units for AI. - Snowflake and Amazon are frenemies - they compete but also partner with each other. - Stock up 36% on this news DELL!!!!!!!!!!!! - Dell Technologies Inc. shares surged due to an outlook for annual sales that far surpassed expectations on demand for servers that power artificial intelligence work. - Revenue in the fiscal year ending in January 2027 will be about $167 billion, including $60 billion from the sale of AI servers, topping analysts' average estimate of $142.1 billion. - The company booked $24.4 billion in AI orders and generated $16.1 billion in AI server sales in the quarter ended May 1, with Chief Operating Officer Jeff Clarke saying “The AI opportunity shows no signs of slowing.” - The shares surged 33% to $420.91 at the close Friday in New York, the biggest single-day increase in the more than seven years since the hardware maker returned to the public markets after a five-year hiatus as a private firm. - Up 150% YTD More Dell - New XPS 13 at $699 targets price-sensitive market - Aims to compete with MacBook Neo, lower-end Windows devices - Launch amid global memory chip crunch to gain market share - WINING OVER JCD: -- 13.4-inch screen (very compact footprint) Options: 2K / 2.5K LCD (120Hz) OLED touchscreen (higher contrast)| - Very thin bezels ? almost edge?to?edge screen - Weighs 2.2 lbs - one of the lightes out there and a rival to Apple's Macbook Neo Infighting - OpenAI may release multi-chip AI software, challenging Nvidia's (NVDA) ecosystem advantage, according to The Information - Oh, and NVDA is now releasing a CPU for PCs that is aggrevating Intel and AMD Kaboom! - Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket exploded in a massive fireball while undergoing a test on a Florida launchpad, dealing a major setback to the company. - The explosion is the latest blow to New Glenn's reputation as a reliable alternative to SpaceX's Falcon 9, and Blue Origin's launch schedule is certain to suffer significant delays. - The incident will also affect Amazon's ambitions to build out its Leo satellite network and may delay Blue Origin's role in NASA's Artemis program, which aims to send humans back to the moon. - As important as it will be for Blue Origin to diagnose the cause of the rocket explosion, it could take many months to repair its launchpad in Florida. Taking Down - Really? - BlackRock Inc. is trimming its bet on stocks across its model-portfolio business as US equities surge to record highs following a strong earnings season. - The firm cut its overweight position in equities from 3% to 1%, triggering billions of dollars of flows between BlackRock's exchange-traded funds. - BlackRock remains confident in equities and will maintain positions that bet on growing corporate profits, artificial intelligence and government spending, but is rotating away from longer-dated US debt in favor of global fixed-income and liquid alternatives. Slight - SpaceX is targeting a valuation of at least $1.8 trillion in its initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter. - The company is seeking to raise as much as $75 billion, which would make it the biggest IPO of all time, and is expected to start formal marketing of its IPO as soon as June 4. -SpaceX had $18.7 billion in revenue in 2025, and the company's pitch to investors shows its evolution into an AI services and infrastructure giant with a total addressable market of $28.5 trillion. - 3-5% of the shares will be floated (TIGHT) Strategy: keep supply constrained, which: supports price discovery maintains founder control creates early scarcity dynamics - - - SpaceX has reserved 5% of the shares ?in its planned initial public offering for certain employees and individuals selected by its executive officers, exempting them from post-IPO lock-up restrictions AND.. Its system can control multiple displays with different aspect ratios at the same time by using a single-on-chip, which is different from other conventional in-vehicle display systems, LG said. - But 24% on this news? - More reason that the KOSPI is moving higher No One Care - But... - Inflation has been above the 2% target for 5 years now - Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari said Thursday that bringing down inflation in the U.S. remains his top priority, warning that consumer prices are still “much too high.”| - Speaking to CNBC's Kaori Enjoji at the Bank of Japan-IMES Conference, Kashkari said that the U.S. central bank would continue taking a “balanced approach” to its dual mandate of price stability and full employment. - 5 YEARS! ---- What that tells us is that the Fed is totally unable to do anything about inflation .... Are we the only ones that see that? Inside Baseball - From a colegie that will go un-named. --- Let's just say he is someone who knows what they are talking about and runs BIG money ----- This is what he said to me..... - Apparently, oil execs were opining with POTUS in meetings yesterday that oil inventories are at alarmingly low levels and oil prices could soon skyrocket (I might soften that language a bit but they know the oil biz better than me) if SoH does not open soon. - I ran a few numbers on total oil inventories including and excluding the SPR. - Total supplies are 10th percentile vs history (although that includes a period when the SPR ramped from 0 to 600mln barrels in the 1980's). - Today it is 4th percentile if you start from 1990 when the SPR was basically full. - The 4 week net and % draw the last 3 weeks are the largest draws of all time. - And not surprising the 1 week net and % draw of the SPR are also the 2 largest draws of all time the last 2 weeks. Surprised - No.... --- This is another story similar to what we saw a few months ago - Taiwan prosecutors suspect that three individuals smuggled at least one shipment of Nvidia Corp. AI chips to China after first exporting them to Japan. - The trio was detained for allegedly falsifying documents related to exports of Super Micro Computer Inc. servers containing advanced Nvidia chips, which the US has barred from sale to China without a license. - Taiwan authorities seized about 50 servers for which they accuse the trio of preparing fraudulent export documents, but at least one shipment had already gone through Taiwan customs and made it to Hong Kong. Under/Over? - Tesla will be somehow folder/merged or taken over by SpaceX in an all stock deal - Tesla market cap is $1.6 Trillion so that will be a tough one to take on as SpaceX is about equal in size. ---- If this happens, when ? Mini Retirement - Is this a THING? - A mini retirement is when you take a planned break from working, usually for a few months to a couple of years, instead of waiting until age 65+ to fully retire. - Tim Feerris popularized this... (4 day workweek dude) Step 1: Work & save aggressively 2–10+ years Build a specific “freedom fund” Step 2: Take time off 3 months to 2 years Travel, recharge, pursue interests, or experiment with new ideas Step 3: Return to work Same career… or pivot to something new Then repeat if desired. “So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.” - Colossians 3:12-13 “As moral activity develops, he [the child] wants to use his own judgment, which often will be quite different from that of his teachers. There is nothing more difficult than to teach moral values to a child of this age; he gives an immediate retort to everything that we say, having become a rebel…An inner change has taken place, but nature is quite logical in arousing now in the child not only a hunger for knowledge and understanding, but a claim to mental independence, a desire to distinguish good from evil by his own powers, and to resent limitation by arbitrary authority. What if the problem with “cultural Christianity” is not that people don't care, but that many were never discipled into maturity? In the final week of Disciples at Work, Pastor Nate Schaidt challenges us to rethink spiritual growth through Hebrews 5–6. Instead of shaming people for being stuck, this message asks what it looks like for the church to raise up spiritual mothers and fathers who help others follow Jesus where they live, work, and play.Support the show

Last week they were hyping a fake “peace deal” with Iran while American troops were getting hit by Iranian missiles in Kuwait. It was all a hoax to distract from the real story: Donald Trump isn't defying Benjamin Netanyahu — he's expanding Israel's war while the US military gets handed over to them on a silver platter. Jeff George, the Jersey Goy, just ripped into the disgusting sight of six Israeli flags over one American flag in Jared Kushner's New Jersey town square, while exposing the Zionist-compromised politicians selling out their community. Noticing is mainstream now, and real Americans are finished staying silent against this foreign occupation.
Busy dads do not need a perfect schedule to get strong. They need a realistic plan they can actually follow. In this episode of Beast Over Burden, Niki Sims and Andrew Jackson talk with guest Nick Hammer about strength training for busy dads and how fathers can balance training, work, family, and real-life responsibilities without giving up on their health. Many dads want to train, but their old approach no longer fits. Sleep is less predictable. Schedules are tighter. Work and family demands are higher. Nick shares how dads can rethink training so it supports fatherhood instead of competing with it. The conversation covers why consistency matters more than the perfect program, how to make training fit a busy season of life, and why strength is about more than gym numbers. For fathers, strength training helps build the capacity to show up better at home, at work, and in the responsibilities that matter most. Niki, Andrew, and Nick also discuss the mindset shift busy dads need: training is not selfish when it helps you become stronger, healthier, and more capable for the people who depend on you. The goal is not to train like you have unlimited time. The goal is to build a repeatable, sustainable approach that helps you keep going for the long haul. Listen to this episode of Beast Over Burden to learn how busy dads can stay strong, train consistently, and build fitness that supports the life they actually live. This isn't a conversation about aging. It's a conversation about truth. There comes a season when everything you used to do to hold it all together... stops working. The pushing. The perfectionism. The hyper-independence. The overriding. The armor. And eventually, the body, wise as ever, says: no more.Somatic experiencing practitioner Natasha Pampin has walked this threshold herself. At 39, when perimenopause began, she told her gynecologist, "You're wrong," and spent years trying to think her way around the very thing her body was asking her to feel.Sound familiar? This is one of the most honest conversations I've ever had on this show. We talk about numbness, grief, nervous system survival patterns, identity collapse, menopause, perimenopause, and what it actually looks like to stop abandoning yourself, not as theory, but as lived experience. And yes... this one got personal.I share openly about my own journey through menopause, emotional overwhelm, collapse, healing, and the long process of learning how to listen to my body instead of override it.Because what if the numbness so many women feel isn't dysfunction at all? What if it's protection? What if it's survival? What if your body has been speaking all along? This conversation beautifully breaks down somatics in a deeply human way, especially for the woman who says: "I don't even know what I feel anymore."Together, Natasha and I explore what happens when a woman can no longer continue living disconnected from herself, and how menopause can become less of a breakdown and more of a sacred initiation into truth, softness, self-trust, and what many call the second spring. In This Episode- Why so many women in perimenopause and menopause go numb, and why numbness is still the body communicating- What somatic healing actually means, especially if you've struggled to feel anything at all- The hidden nervous system patterns beneath perfectionism, over-functioning, and burnout- How unresolved grief and trauma live in the body- The difference between reacting to life and responding to it- Why healing happens in relationship, not isolation- The body's incredible intelligence and capacity to guide us home to ourselves- Menopause as initiation, not decline- What it means to soften after a lifetime of bracingAbout Natasha Pampin Natasha Pampin is a somatic experiencing practitioner supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, trauma, nervous system healing, and the profound threshold of becoming. Make sure to download our free guide, 7 Questions Every Passive Investor Should Ask, here. Key Takeaways Audit your top ten competitors before making a single design decision Prioritize closet space, in-unit laundry, lighting, and cabinetry in unit renovations Full-size stackable washers and dryers outperform compact units in resident satisfaction Furniture layout planning, including TV placement and door positioning, directly affects rentability Looking high-end and being expensive are not the same thing Cheap materials that fail early cost more over time than durable materials installed once Differentiate from the competition rather than replicate it Topics What Residents Actually Want in a Unit Walk-in or large closets are now a baseline expectation, not a premium feature In-unit full-size stackable laundry is the preferred standard for most unit types Updated lighting, countertops, and kitchen cabinetry signal value to prospective residents Common Design Mistakes in Multifamily Layouts are not evaluated for furniture placement before construction or renovation TV placement and couch space are often afterthought considerations Excessive interior doors fragment rooms and reduce usable wall space Simple layout adjustments, such as moving a door 12 inches, can unlock meaningfully higher rents How to Stand Out Against the Competition List every competitor, their amenities, finishes, unit quality, and rents before setting a design direction Identify what the market is missing, then build toward that gap Boutique, differentiated spaces lease faster than properties that blend in Marcy cites a university-area project where a speakeasy-style hangout space and boutique design drove strong lease-up against large institutional competitors Looking Premium Without Overspending A $1.50 tile can look high-end with the right design approach Affordable housing projects should look as good as the budget allows, not be deliberately toned down Cheap, low-durability materials often require costly mid-cycle replacements that eliminate any initial savings Work with established vendors who can offer warranties and guarantee product longevity Designer Bank: Design Education for Developers Designer Bank is an online platform offering modules on Revit, rendering, space planning, lighting, flooring, and tile Modules are taught by industry practitioners with deep product knowledge Targeted at developers, investors, and anyone who wants to make better-informed design decisions

In this episode of the Growth Now Movement, I reconnect with entrepreneur and visionary builder Chuck Balsamo for the first time in five years, and this conversation dives deep into productivity, focus, entrepreneurship, family, legacy, and the systems required to build something truly meaningful. Chuck shares what life has looked like during the last several years of building new ventures, staying intensely focused on growth, and learning how to protect both his energy and his time while still showing up for the people who matter most. We talk extensively about the importance of building "fortresses" of productivity by intentionally designing environments that reduce distraction, minimize decision fatigue, and create opportunities for deep work. Chuck explains how time blocking, routines, boundaries, and intentional calendar management have become essential tools for both business success and personal peace. Drawing from concepts popularized by Daniel H. Pink around willpower, discipline, and habits, Chuck breaks down why most people fail to protect their focus and how entrepreneurs can create systems that allow them to perform at a higher level consistently without burning out. One of the most powerful parts of this conversation is Chuck's perspective on legacy. As his businesses have grown, he's become increasingly aware that every "yes" comes at the expense of something else, often time with family. We discuss the emotional realities of entrepreneurship, the tradeoffs that come with ambition, and why saying "no" is one of the most important skills anyone can develop. Chuck also introduces his newest venture, uSpace, a premium backyard remote workspace designed to create an undistracted environment for focused work, creativity, and productivity. He shares the origin story behind the company, the inspiration for the design, pricing and financing options, tax and ROI considerations, and his long-term vision for scaling the business into a potentially billion-dollar brand. We also talk about: The "sprinter mindset" for work productivity Why environment shapes performance How distraction is quietly destroying creativity Why one great idea can completely change your life The importance of protecting mental space Entrepreneurship and ego Health scares that shifted Chuck's perspective on life and empathy This episode is packed with practical insights for entrepreneurs, creators, executives, remote workers, parents, and anyone trying to create more focus, balance, and intentionality in their life. In This Episode, You Will Learn: How Chuck Balsamo structures his days for maximum productivity Why creating a distraction-free environment matters The power of time blocking and hard boundaries How to reduce decision fatigue and improve focus Why saying "no" is critical for long-term success The emotional tradeoffs entrepreneurs face How environment impacts performance and creativity The origin story behind uSpace Why focused work in short bursts is more effective How health scares changed Chuck's perspective on life and legacy Timestamps 00:00 Chuck Returns 01:19 Five Years of Building Behind the Scenes 04:39 Calendars, Time Blocking, and Focus 15:50 The Science of Timing, Habits, and Willpower 21:24 Building "Fortress" Environments for Productivity 25:34 How One Great Idea Can Change Everything 30:18 Ego, Purpose, and Entrepreneurship 32:21 The Sprinter Mindset for Work 41:42 Family, Community, and Balance 48:35 Success Habits and Protecting Space 53:58 Growth Through Health Scares 56:33 Gratitude and Final Thoughts

Okay, let's say finding love is 100% all luck. A few weeks ago I shared my take: finding love is proximity to opportunity plus courageous behavior in the face of it. I got a lot of comments that said, "You're wrong, it's just 100% luck." So let's run the thought experiment. If finding love is 100% about luck... what creates the conditions for luck to occur? What even is luck? And how do you become the luckiest version of yourself in your dating life? This week's episode of The Feminist Dating Show shows you exactly how to create the luckiest love life possible, even if you've never been in a relationship before. Inside Episode 273 you'll learn:

Episode Chapter Summaries Chapter 1: The Rochester Connection & The Johnny Fever Dream (00:00 – 03:51) Anne introduces her longtime friend Tim Powers. They bond over their shared Rochester, NY, background, noting that growing up there fosters a natural sense of grit, humor, and raw honesty. Tim shares his origin story, starting as a kid with a voice that dropped way too early in 1978. Growing up in a massive, hilarious family where you had to be funny just to get noticed, Tim fell in love with radio icons and comedy legends, dreaming of becoming the next Johnny Fever. Chapter 2: The "Clark Kent" Years & Transition to the Improv Stage (03:52 – 08:34) Tim discusses his early years in radio, cueing up vinyl records, learning to think on his feet, and mastering spontaneous communication. However, minimum-wage radio couldn't pay the bills, leading to decades of "Clark Kent" day jobs. In his 30s, a friend dragged him to an improv theater tryout. Despite not being a traditional theater kid, Tim discovered that the improv stage was exactly where he learned structural acting, performance pacing, and the ultimate art of letting go. Chapter 3: The Philosophy of "Yes, And" in Voiceover (08:35 – 12:40) Tim shares his journey moving from his hometown to Los Angeles, training with iconic schools like The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade, and eventually transitioning back behind the microphone under the mentorship of the late Lori Tritel and animation legend Michael Bell. Anne and Tim unpack the zen philosophy of "Yes, And." They discuss how voice actors spin too many mental plates trying to be perfect, when their only job is to accept the information given to them by the copy and boldly add their own life experiences to it. Chapter 4: Making Bold Choices vs. The Robotic Read (12:41 – 19:28) Anne and Tim challenge the idea of trying to read the casting director's mind. Tim points out that in an industry overflowing with talented talent, the only thing that separates you from a room full of people matching your exact technical specifications is your unique life experience. They look at how improv empowers talent to trust their gut and make fast, definitive character choices rather than hunting for a safe, sterile melody. Chapter 5: The "Dude" Knowledge & Grounding Corporate Narration (19:29 – 23:48) The conversation gets tactical as Anne and Tim explain the power of improvising your lead-ins. Tim demonstrates how a simple lead-in word like "dude" acts as the tip of a massive, subtextual iceberg. They argue that this work isn't just for wacky characters or high-energy commercials; it is also mandatory for all genres, including corporate narration and e-learning. To compete with cheap, perfect AI bots, human actors must bring a developed backstory, a natural breathing arc, and authentic physical transitions to the text. Chapter 6: The Truth About Demo Production & Acting Accountability (23:49 – 33:32) Anne and Tim have a candid, hard conversation about the current state of industry coaching. They address the hard truth that voiceover is a professional acting discipline that cannot be mastered in four to eight short weeks. They discuss their shared responsibility as demo producers, explaining why they refuse to cash a student's check for a demo if that student isn't consistently audition-ready. Tim shares a classic Hollywood story about the legendary "$500 demo trucks" parked outside major studios and warns why decision-makers spot those corner-cutting shortcuts instantly. Chapter 7: Garbage Plates, White Hots, and the Drop-In (33:33 – End) Tim details how talent can train with him via his zero-barrier-to-entry weekly drop-in Zoom workshop, Timprov, and his regular coaching site. The episode wraps up with a hilarious trip down memory lane as Anne and Tim talk classic Rochester culinary staples—including the legendary "garbage plate" hangover cure, Wegmans grocery stores, and Zweigel's white hots—before locking in plans for a future collaborative live-streaming workshop episode. Top 10 Boss Takeaways Acting is reacting: Real conversations are never premeditated. Every single script you read requires you to look at the words as an immediate response to an event that just happened. Embrace the "Yes, And" mindset: Stop fighting the copy or over-analyzing the client's intent. Accept the scenario given to you by the writer, agree with it wholeheartedly, and add your specific central nervous system to it. Natural beats perfect: If voiceover were solely about flawless technical precision, one person would hold all the work. Auditions book because of raw human imperfection and compelling storytelling. Instinct over mechanics: If you are listening to the sound of your own voice or focusing on your vocal melody while recording, you are completely out of the scene. Ditch the "Voiceover Artist" label: Tim reminds us that artists make sandwiches at Subway. You are an actor who uses your voice. Own that title, and do the internal script analysis required of real actors. Master the customized lead-in: Never launch directly into the first line of text dry. Build a fully formed, improvised phrase right before the first word to establish a genuine emotional point of view. Develop the "Dude Knowledge": A single lead-in word can serve as shorthand for a massive, unwritten backstory. Is your subtext "Dude, you're about to get fired" or "Dude, I've got the coolest secret to tell you"? Know the difference before you pull context into the microphone. AI can read—humans must connect: Perfect, pretty, and cheap reads can be generated by algorithms all day long. The only defense against automation is your messy, un-replicable life experience. Demos are a reflection of audition readiness: A professional demo is designed to show a casting director what you can deliver on the fly. If you aren't ready to book an elite audition on your own, you are not ready to cut a demo. Find coaches who hold you accountable: Avoid any production factories that promise stardom in record time. Work with industry thought leaders who aren't afraid to give you the hard, necessary truths about your current performance level.

Women with ADHD have been told their intensity, their fast brains, and their emotional depth are dysfunctional…but I truly believe ambition and neurodivergence can coexist in the healthiest way. The traits we have been taught to suppress (the hyperfocus, the pattern recognition, the emotional intelligence) are the exact things that create momentum, innovation, and success. In this episode, we'll explore what ADHD actually looks like in high-achieving women, how to build a life and business that works with your brain instead of against it, and why supporting your brain is not the same thing as trying to erase it.TOPICS WE EXPLORE:ADHD in high-achieving women (the obvious signs and the ones nobody talks about)Why intensity, sensitivity, and emotional depth are assets, not dysfunctionHow I got my formal diagnosis and whyUsing cycle syncing, intentional scheduling, and pressure as a toolMedication as one tool in the toolbox (not the whole toolbox)The link between ADHD and high-functioning burnoutHow to stop pathologizing the parts of you that make you, youTHE POINT:There is a difference between intensity and dysfunction. Send Jackie A Message!Every summer, studio owners brace for the same thing: attendance drops, members travel, energy shifts. So you white-knuckle through it and wait for September. Here's the problem—summer isn't your slow season. It's your setup quarter. What you do in your yoga or Pilates studio in June determines whether your fall is full of momentum or a slow climb back from a standstill. In this solo episode, Jackie Murphy breaks down the misconception costing studio owners money: that when attendance drops, revenue has to drop too. It doesn't. She explains how a premium value offer can make summer one of your highest-revenue months, the schedule analysis every owner should run before the season, and the pause policy that keeps members coming back. If you've been treating summer as something to survive, this will change how you run your studio this quarter—and set up your strongest January yet.TIMESTAMPED OUTLINE[00:00] Why we're talking about summer now[03:00] Summer is your setup quarter: June 2026 decides January 2027[05:00] The misconception: attendance drops, so revenue must too[07:00] The Premium Value Offer (PVO) and why summer is the time to sell it[09:30] Divorcing attendance from revenue in your head[11:00] Move #1: Run a schedule analysis on your real data[13:30] Knowing your break-even number for every class[16:00] Move #2: Tighten your pause policy[17:30] Pick one move and actually implement itKEY TAKEAWAYS✓ Summer is your setup quarter—June 2026 determines January 2027.✓ Attendance and revenue are not the same thing. Attendance can drop while revenue grows.✓ A premium value offer (four figures+) grows summer revenue even when class numbers dip.✓ Don't wait for attendance to drop and react—run a schedule analysis on your own data now.✓ Booking software isn't always accurate. You usually have to collect the data yourself.✓ A leaner, fuller schedule beats a robust, half-empty one—for your bottom line and your students.✓ Lock in every pause with a start, end, and restart date from day one so members come right back.✓ Pick one move and implement it. If you listen and don't take action, what's the point?QUOTES"Summer is actually your setup quarter." "What you're doing in June of 2026 determines what your January of 2027 looks like." "Attendance and revenue are not the same thing. Summer is when that distinction matters most." "Just because attendance drops doesn't mean your revenue has to." "It can be your highest month of the whole year, and attendance could be the lowest." "If you just listen to this and don't take action, what's the point, my friend?"FAQCan my studio revenue grow even if summer attendance drops? Yes. Attendance and revenue are two different numbers. With the right offer in place, summer can be one of your highest-revenue months even while attendance is at its lowest. What is a premium value offer for a yoga or Pilates studio? A PVO is something outside your normal membership, typically four figures or higher, designed to help members reach a new result—often a teacher training, but not always. Why is summer a good time to sell a high-ticket offer? Members often have more time and headspace in summer. If they're sticking with you through the season, that's when you have the capacity to extend a bigger offer.Should I change my class schedule for the summer? Be proactive, not reactive. Review your schedule at the start of summer using the last six months of data, then make strategic adjustments instead of scrambling later. How should a studio handle membership pauses over summer? Set a clear start, end, and restart date the moment a member requests a pause. Booking the restart from day one removes the "should I come back?" decision. When should I start planning my summer strategy? Now. Your schedule, offers, and pause policy heading into summer determine your fall momentum and your following January.Work with Jackie MurphySay Hi on Instagram @studioceoofficial3 Marketing Mistakes Yoga & Pilates Business Owners Make: https://www.jackiegmurphy.com/evergreen-3mm-organicJoin The Studio CEO Program: https://www.jackiegmurphy.com/studioceo
In this episode, Dr. Eric Osansky tackles a question that often surprises thyroid patients: Can Hashimoto's thyroiditis turn into Graves' disease, and can Graves' disease eventually become Hashimoto's? While these conditions are commonly viewed as opposites—one causing hypothyroidism and the other hyperthyroidism—Dr. Eric explains why the relationship between them isn't always so straightforward. Dr. Eric breaks down the differences between the thyroid antibodies associated with each condition, explains how antibody patterns can overlap, and discusses why some people test positive for both Graves' and Hashimoto's antibodies at the same time. He also explores possible reasons these transitions occur, including immune dysregulation, environmental triggers, gut health issues, nutrient deficiencies, chronic stress, infections, mold exposure, and hormonal changes. Along the way, he clarifies common misconceptions about Hashitoxicosis, “thyroid burnout,” and the importance of proper antibody testing. Most importantly, Dr. Eric emphasizes that both Graves' disease and Hashimoto's are immune system conditions rather than simply thyroid disorders. By focusing on identifying triggers, restoring immune balance, and supporting gut health, it's possible to improve symptoms, lower antibodies, and achieve long-term remission. If you want a clearer understanding of how autoimmune thyroid conditions can evolve over time—and what you can do about it—you'll get a lot out of this episode. Hello, beautiful souls! Welcome back to the Angels & Awakening Podcast. I'm your host and author, Julie Jancis. In the last two episodes, we've talked about what energy is. We've walked through the chakras. Now we're getting into the work of how to actually identify unhealthy energy in your body, what it feels like, and exactly how to clear it with your angels. This one is practical, powerful, and a little bit woo. I love it.
Wabi Sabi - The Perfectly Imperfect Podcast with Candice Kumai
A practical, honest reset for anyone who wants to feel better this summer through food, matcha, meditation, movement, rest, better boundaries, supportive work, and more intentional living. This is about improving your health and wellness journey from June forward without making it complicated, fake, or overwhelming. Intro From Candice Happy June, and welcome back to Wabi Sabi. Today, I want to talk about the June reset and how we can use this month as a fresh start for our health, energy, and ease. June is the beginning of summer and the halfway point of the year, which makes it a really beautiful time to pause and ask ourselves: what is actually helping me feel better, and what do I want the second half of this year to feel like? I was recently asked at one of my speaking events a few questions that sounded simple, but were actually very honest. What does your routine look like? What do you eat regularly? What do you do to feel well? And what advice would you give someone who wants to improve their health and wellness journey from June forward? I loved those questions because I think they are the questions so many of us are quietly asking. How do I take better care of myself when life is full? How do I eat well without making it complicated? How do I create a routine that actually supports me? How do I rest when I have responsibilities? How do I begin again when the first half of the year did not go exactly as planned? For me, May was full and meaningful. It was AANHPI Month, and I was grateful to share my Japanese heritage, matcha, wellness, and culture through ABC News, speaking events, library events, wellness gatherings, and beautiful rooms where we could talk about the deeper meaning behind this work. But May was also very hard. Someone I used to be very close to passed away suddenly. And bad news came in a few areas-- So while I am grateful, I am also human. I have been processing grief, uncertainty, exhaustion, and the reminder that health is not something we can keep putting off. So this episode is not about pretending everything is fine. It is not about a perfect wellness routine. It is not about becoming a different person overnight. It is about simple things that actually help. Food that steadies you. Morning rituals that calm you. Movement that gives you energy back. Rest that restores you. Work and people that respect your health. And a summer that lets your nervous system breathe. This is your June reset. A summer guide to health, energy, and ease. Thank you for listening x ck

Our trusted source for Methylene Blue: https://www.troscriptions.com/muscle (10% off) Functional medicine Dr. Scott Sherr joins Ben Pakulski to break down methylene blue — the 100-year-old compound that's become one of Ben's favorite tools for energy, focus, and endurance. Dr. Sherr explains how it reboots mitochondrial function in days (not months), how one endurance athlete he coaches cut three hours off a 100-mile race, and how to dose it safely. Plus the warning most people never hear: why the majority of methylene blue sold online is contaminated, and what to look for in a clean source. In this episode… → The bottleneck behind almost everything (energy, brain, recovery, fat loss) → The four complexes of your electron transport chain, and where most men are blocked → Why statins might be quietly trashing the system you're trying to optimize → Which molecule does "ninja moves" for mitochondrial dysfunction → The exact dosing protocol Scott uses for performance, travel, sauna, and endurance About Dr. Sherr Dr. Scott Sherr is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and one of the leading clinical voices on methylene blue and mitochondrial medicine.
