In his organization, he witnesses AI delivering wonders for some teams while others struggle and lose projects. Rather than viewing AI as an overwhelming wave, Shawn advocates for experimentation. He shares practical examples, like helping a Product Owner streamline story creation from Excel to JIRA using AI tools, and leveraging MIRO AI for team collaboration. His approach focuses on identifying friction points where AI experiments could add value while keeping conversations centered on possibilities rather than fears. Send us a textChange is inevitable, but meaningful transformation requires courage, energy, and strategy. Drawing from insights shared at the Gemstone Foundation, this episode explores how our work fundamentally shapes our identity and provides a comprehensive framework for navigating life's transitions successfully. The journey begins with understanding that work represents more than income—it's how we express ourselves and how others know us. "By their fruits, you shall know them." Whether considering career shifts or personal transformations, the same principles apply: don't rush the process, know your motivation, develop self-awareness, conduct thorough research, and build supportive networks.Like electrons jumping to higher energy levels, significant changes demand both physical and spiritual energy. We examine how thermodynamic principles mirror our lives' transformative processes. Change isn't merely about wishing for something different—it requires concrete steps and careful assessment. What skills do you currently possess versus what's needed? Why do you truly want this change? Have you looked deeply at your strengths and limitations? The most successful transitions happen when we move beyond wishful thinking to strategic preparation. This means studying industries (like today's dominant tech and energy sectors), taking courses, following thought leaders, and connecting with those who've walked similar paths. As one Nigerian saying goes, "follow who know road"—wisdom that applies universally.Ready to embrace change with courage rather than anxiety? Listen now to discover how these principles can transform not just your career but every aspect of life where growth calls you forward. The bubble of change surrounds us daily—let's navigate it with wisdom and purpose.Support the showYou can support this show via the link below;https://www.buzzsprout.com/1718587/supporters/new

God's Word shares powerful wisdom for dealing with harmful relationships. A damaged marriage, child-parent relationship, or friendship gone bad can cause us to spiral downward. Everything is affected. Work, sleep, even our prayer life. When a relationship sours, it's important to remember we bear responsibility for doing everything possible to nurture healthy relationships. Our prayer life and resolve can go a long way toward repairing the damage. When King David's advisor, Nathan, saw what sin had done to David's life, he confronted him. It must've been difficult for Nathan to be this honest with the king about his personal issues, but things got better. Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Commit yourself to healing in a bad relationship. With God's help, it can be done. Let's pray.Lord, there is so much hurt in this world, and none of us gets out without some trouble. If we've hurt someone, or if someone has hurt us, please put a burden on our hearts to go to that person in a spirit of love and peace, seeking to make things right. Breaking Free from Hidden Patterns and Rewiring Your Brain for Success   Rewire Your Brain: Adele Spraggon on Breaking Free from Hidden Patterns   Like many of you, I've seen firsthand how money stories and old habits can run our lives without us even realizing it. I work with business owners every day who want more profit, more freedom, but they're trapped in repeating cycles—just like I've been in my own journey.   Our guest today, Adele Spraggon, is an award-winning author, international speaker, and behavioral change expert. In her book Shift: 4 Steps to Personal Empowerment, Adele reveals how the brain runs on hidden patterns that keep us stuck—and more importantly, how to rewire them for freedom and success.   This isn't about willpower or positive thinking. It's about giving your brain the tools to let go of what no longer serves you, and allowing new patterns to emerge that fit the life you actually want.   5 Key Insights from Adele Spraggon: We Live by Patterns, Not Choices. Most of what we call “decisions” are actually neural pathways our brain built in the past. We're on autopilot more than we realize. Reflection: Which area of your life feels stuck on repeat Change Happens by Subtraction, Not Addition. Instead of piling on more strategies, affirmations, or tools, Adele teaches that true freedom comes by removing unhelpful patterns. Reflection: What would shift if you stopped adding solutions and simply let go of the root problem? The Body Holds the Truth. While the mind replays the past and projects the future, the body is always in the present. By tuning into sensations and emotions, we discover the real issues beneath the surface. Reflection: What is your body telling you about the problems you keep circling? Surrender is Not Weakness. Letting go isn't giving up—it's becoming a witness to what's actually happening inside. From that space, old patterns naturally dissolve. Reflection: Where in your life are you resisting instead of surrendering? Identity is Fluid, Not Fixed. We're not one static self. We're shape-shifters, capable of adopting new identities as we rewire our brains. Change is easier than we think—once we know how. Reflection: Who could you become if you stopped clinging to outdated labels?   Money Learnings: Adele grew up in a home where money was either abundant or scarce, with nothing in between. That volatility shaped her early patterns around spending and saving—habits that drained her account as quickly as money came in. Her story is a reminder: your financial results often mirror the unconscious money patterns you inherited. Until you rewire them, the cycle continues.   Key Takeaway: True empowerment doesn't come from forcing yourself to be different. It comes from recognizing the brain patterns that no longer serve you and giving yourself permission to let them go.   About Adele Spraggon: Adele Spraggon is an award-winning author, international speaker, and trainer recognized for her expertise in behavioral change. She has been awarded the 2020 Woman of Inspiration Award and is the author of Shift: 4 Steps to Personal Empowerment. With a master's degree in humanities, a lifetime of teaching, and a deep study of neuroscience and psychology, Adele helps people across the globe break free from hidden mental patterns and step into lives of freedom, peace, and purpose. Through her work, Adele has empowered thousands to rewrite their inner programming, overcome self-sabotage, and unlock the adaptability that makes change not only possible, but natural.   Links: Website: https://adelespraggon.com/   LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/adelespraggon/   Twitter/X: https://x.com/AdeleSpraggon   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AdeleSpraggonRepatternist/   Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/adelespraggon   YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AdeleSpraggon   What's one pattern you're ready to let go of today—and who might you become once you do?   #RicherSoul #AdeleSpraggon #BrainPatterns #MindsetShift #PersonalGrowth #InnerWork #Neuroplasticity #SelfImprovement #ChangeYourLife #Habits #RewireYourBrain #Empowerment #ConsciousLiving    Watch the full episode on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@richersoul Richer Soul Life Beyond Money. At age 55, Belgian runner Hilde Dosogne set out to break boundaries — and did just that.  In 2024, she ran 366 marathons in 366 days, earning her the title of Guinness World Record holder for most consecutive marathons in a year.  What makes Hilde's journey so extraordinary is not just the distance she covered, but the relentless dedication she showed while working part-time and managing her daily life with laser-focused discipline. Known as Marathon Woman 366, Hilde didn't grow up in a sporty family. In fact, she didn't seriously take up running until her 40s. But once she did, she never looked back — moving from her first marathon with her husband in 2013 to ultra events like the Marathon des Sables and the legendary Spartathlon in Greece. Inspired by endurance runner Candice Burt, who ran an ultra a day, Hilde set a goal that was bold yet (just) manageable alongside her career — a marathon every single day for an entire year.  From battling injuries and illness, to running through Belgian storms and even dislocating a finger mid-run, Hilde's story is one of mental toughness, resilience, and unwavering self-belief. In this episode, Hilde shares: Why she decided to take on this incredible challenge How she structured her days and managed recovery The highs and lows of running every single day The mental strategies that helped her keep going Her thoughts on aging, performance, and redefining what's possible at 55 The deep sense of joy and freedom she finds in running Hilde's story is a reminder that it's never too late to start something extraordinary — and that the only limits are the ones we place on ourselves.  New episodes of the Tough Girl Podcast drop every Tuesday at 7 AM UK time. Subscribe and be inspired by stories of women pushing their physical and mental limits across adventure, endurance, and exploration.  Support the mission to increase the visibility of female role models in adventure and sport: www.patreon.com/toughgirlpodcast Show notes Who is Hilde Living in Belgium 55 years old Married with 4 children aged between 18 and 26 years old Working in a chemical company and being passionate about running Being known as Marathon Woman 366 Not growing up in a sporty family and not being encouraged to do sports when she was younger Getting into running after her children were growing up  Being focused on building up her career and raising her children  Reaching 40 years old and wanting to lose some weight and deciding to run a marathon with her husband in 2013 How her running progressed and wanting to run more marathons and then wanting to run faster and then further Getting a lot of satisfaction from achieving her goals and pushing her limits Deciding to run the coastline of Belgium - 74km Wanting to know what else she could do  Deciding to run the Marathon des Sables in Morocco  Struggling with sleep in the open tent, and dealing with the sandstorm and the noisy people in the tent Running Spartathlon Ultra Race  Running from Athens to Sparta - having 36 hrs to complete the race  Needing to qualify for the Spartathlon Running 170km in 24 hrs in 2022 Running the race again in 2023 and running 1 hr faster than the year before Being inspired by Candice Burt running an ultra marathon everyday  Realising that running an ultra marathon a day would take up too much time everyday Deciding to run a marathon everyday and break a world record  Feeling that running a marathon everyday would be achievable while working at the same time Starting to plan for the event in summer 2024 - wanting to run with other people  Applying to Guinness World Records and figuring out the logistics for evidence  The time commitment involved and trying to run with other people  Being commitment to the hours she was running  The hard days, especially when she was feeling sick  Dealing with stomach pain and covid.  Falling while running and dislocating her finger  Dealing with bad weather especially at the start of the year  Struggling with her sleep and feeling too excited from the running both physically and emotionally  Sleeping during her lunch break Needing to have her days very strictly scheduled  The time commitment of running, social media and the info for Guinness World Records The mindset of taking on a daily challenge like this Her resilience coming from having a strict childhood and being very disciplined Seeing her running as a job  Feeling gratitude for while she was running  Raising funds for breast cancer patients  Being supported by the people who ran with her and also supported via social media  Daily recovery strategies - having a recovery shake, baths, stretching and a massage 1x per week Being supported by her husband in the house  Getting to the end of 366 marathons Running the last week in pain, due to a hamstring injury  Preparing an event for the last day Her body was telling her to stop running  Stopping running on the 1st January 2025  Feeling very happy that it was over! Today, Steve sits down with leadership coach Dr. Sam Adeyemi. Sam is an expert in leadership who has coached C-suite executives for over two decades. Together, Steve and Sam explore the essence of who is a leader, and Sam explains why people should always be the first priority of a leader. They also discuss AI and how it will impact people and business in the coming years.  Key Takeaways: Leadership is about your ability to influence, not the position you hold. Technology has changed the nature of leading. AI will change how we work by taking over routine tasks and giving humans more time for creative challenges.  Tune in to hear more about: How leadership differs across cultures (4:28) How technology is changing leadership (8:47) How AI will change how we work (14:27) Standout Quotes: “We still need to leave those spaces where we actually ask, how are you doing, to be sure the parts of their lives that are important are going well. Because those parts actually influence what they do on the job.” - Dr. Sam Adeyemi “It's like when computers first came. They made things work faster. When I was doing mathematics in high school, we used to use log tables and things like that. It was much slower getting to work through the calculations. But with calculators these days and so on, it's faster. AI is going to create an even bigger shift than that. The computers did not take all the jobs away. However, they changed the way that we do our work. So we humans, therefore, need to move more towards creativity, and that is tied more to our uniqueness, the unique way our minds work.” - Dr. Sam Adeyemi “A lot of C-suite leaders find it difficult to reinvent, and it's one of the major reasons why people get stranded, why leaders just stagnate. Change is inevitable. It happens, the world doesn't remain the same. The conditions that facilitated our achievement of success, those conditions have changed. The context has changed. So for us to sustain our success, for us to remain relevant, for example, we also have just got to change.” Dr. Sam Adeyemi Read the transcript of this episode Subscribe to the ISF Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts Connect with us on LinkedIn and Twitter From the Information Security Forum, the leading authority on cyber, information security, and risk management.

More Than a Song - Discovering the Truth of Scripture Hidden in Today's Popular Christian Music

Send us a textFear can creep in when our circumstances shake us, but what if God offers us something better? This week's song, “No Fear” by Jon Reddick, leads us to explore the very first mention of fear in Scripture and how God's perfect love casts it out. Together we'll trace fear from the Garden of Eden to John's letter of assurance, discovering how to rest in the confidence of God's unshakable love.Key PointsThe first mention of fear in the Bible and what it reveals (Genesis 3)What Adam's relationship with God looked like before fear entered the storyWhy context matters when studying familiar passagesHow perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18)Why confidence in salvation is the foundation for overcoming all other fearsHow God's perfect love—not our striving—sets us freeScripture ReferencesGenesis 1–3 – God's creation, Adam and Eve's relationship with Him, sin entering the world, and the first appearance of fear.Genesis 3:6–10 – Adam and Eve eat the fruit, recognize their nakedness, hide from God, and respond with fear.Genesis 2:25 – Before sin, Adam and Eve were naked but felt no shame.1 John 4:17–18 – Perfect love gives us confidence in the day of judgment and casts out fear.Psalm 119:18 – A prayer to see wonderful truths in God's Word.Ephesians 1:16–19 – Paul prays for spiritual wisdom and for believers' hearts to be enlightened.Romans 8:35–39 – Nothing—not trouble, danger, or even nakedness—can separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus.Bible Interaction Tool Exercises (BITEs) UsedRead in context – Take in the surrounding chapters so you don't misunderstand or misapply a single verse.Read Scripture aloud – Slows you down and helps you notice details you might otherwise skim over.Meditate on Scripture – Instead of emptying your mind, fill it with God's Word and turn it over like a diamond to see its many facets.Make a list – Organize your observations (like Adam's God-given gifts and purpose) to see patterns and truths more clearly.Pray Scripture – Turn God's Word into your personal prayer, asking Him to open your eyes and transform your heart.Additional ResourcesDownload the free Episode Guide"Behind the Song With Kevin Davis" - New Release Today Article"Why Francis Chan Abandoned His Megachurch for Living Rooms" - YouTube Interview by LacraeLearn more about my favorite Bible Study Software with a 30-day free trial and links to my favorite Bible resources - Logos Bible Software Affiliate LinkThis Week's ChallengeRead Genesis 1-3, making note of details that may hint at Adam and God's “history” and relationship with one another. God created humans with a spirit, soul, and body. And in order for each aspect of our being to function in harmony, our relationships should also be in harmony. From the beginning, God walked with Adam and Eve in the garden, talking with them and nurturing a personal relationship with them. In fact, throughout the scriptures, God built foundational relationships, whether it was with the reluctant leader Moses or Hannah, the woman who wanted to be a mother more than anything. Ephesians 4:2–3 says, “Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the spirit of unity through the bond of peace.” Right relationships are foundational to life. The Bible is clear that if one of ours is suffering, letting it drift is not an option. Make living in harmony with other people a top priority every day.Let's pray. Lord, you gave everything for us, created us to have fellowship, to experience your love, and to love you in return. Hello to you listening in Hamburg, Germany!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga.  We are living in a time of historic upheaval. But what if this currently confusing, chaotic, confounding, cultural churn is stumbling toward change that reveals the hidden roots of social injustice for what they are so that we can reconfigure for good? How easily the safeguards can be leaped. And they have been. We can clutch our pearls and bemoan the times we live in; or, we can invite our feelings of hopelessness to give way to action, to repair, restore, and renew out of the ashes of the old ways. We are responsible for making change because we're the only “sentient force” that can.Question: What one small grand gesture are you committed to take on behalf of what you love and care for? These words from the Irish poet Seamus Heaney may motivate and sustain you wherever your feet touch the ground, whatever progress you are intent on making today.    “History says, Don't hopeOn this side of the grave...But then, once in a lifetimeThe longed-for tidal waveOf justice can rise upAnd hope and history rhyme.” [“The Cure at Troy” Seamus Heaney]BONUS: Seamus Heaney reads his poem, The Cure at TroyThe Cure at Troy (full text)"Human beings sufferThey torture one another,They get hurt and get hard.No poem or play or songCan fully right a wrongInflicted and endured. The innocent in gaolsBeat on their bars together.A hunger-striker's fatherStands in the graveyard dumb. The police widow in veilsFaints at the funeral home. History says, Don't hopeOn this side of the grave…But then, once in a lifetimeThe longed-for tidal waveOf justice can rise up,And hope and history rhyme. So hope for a great sea-changeOn the far side of revenge.Believe that a further shoreIs reachable from here.Believe in miraclesAnd cures and healing wells. Call miracle self-healing:The utter, self-revealingDouble-take of feeling. If there's fire on the mountainOr lightning and stormAnd a god speaks from the sky That means someone is hearingThe outcry and the birth-cryOf new life at its term.It means once in a lifetimeThat justice can rise upAnd hope and history rhyme. In this episode, Laurence Joss speaks with Daniel Ryan, a UK attorney, about the challenges and realities of the court system, particularly in family law. They discuss the need for a fundamental change in how disputes are handled, the complexities of parental alienation, and the often negative outcomes of court proceedings. Daniel emphasizes the importance of understanding the court's limitations and the need for better resources and support for parents navigating these difficult situations. They also explore the role of children in court proceedings and envision a more inclusive and supportive family court system.Key TakeawaysThere needs to be a fundamental change in the court system.Nobody wins in court; everyone loses.Parental alienation is often misunderstood and mishandled in court. The court system is designed for conflict, not resolution.Children should be involved in the court process to minimize their impact.Judges often lack the psychological expertise needed for cases involving parental alienation. The current approach to parental alienation is overly simplistic.Mediation and counseling should be prioritized before court proceedings. The backlog in the court system exacerbates the issues faced by families.A more relaxed and inclusive court environment could benefit all parties involved.Chapters00:00 - The Need for Change in the Court System05:02 - Understanding the Reality of Court Proceedings09:41 - Parental Alienation: A Complex Issue15:03 - The Role of Children in Court Proceedings19:47 - Envisioning a Better Family Court SystemFor more detailed information, please click the link below:https://www.mckenziepicave.com/If you wish to connect with Lawrence Joss or any of the PA-A community members who have appeared as guests on the podcast:Email - familydisappeared@gmail.comLinktree: https://linktr.ee/lawrencejoss(All links mentioned in the podcast are available in Linktree)Please donate to support PAA programs:https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=SDLTX8TBSZNXSThis podcast is made possible by the Family Disappeared Team:Anna Johnson- Editor/Contributor/Activist/Co-hostGlaze Gonzales- Podcast ManagerConnect with Lawrence Joss:Website: https://parentalalienationanonymous.com/Email- familydisappeared@gmail.com

On Celebration Sunday and the first day of our 10-Day Corporate Fast, Pastor Touré Roberts brings a powerful word from Proverbs 13:12 on “The Power to Change.” Scripture reminds us that “hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”This message calls us to recognize that every anointed person is carrying something — and to step into breakthrough, we must make room for what God wants to do. As we begin our fast, we must know that fasting isn't just about sacrifice, but about capacity, alignment, and stewarding our resources for the season ahead. Pastor Touré reminds us that the tension of delay and disappointment is not wasted — it's the very space where God develops us, positions us, and prepares us for transformation. When we keep our hearts healthy, pain becomes the launching pad for abundance. Are you positioned for fresh creativity and the power to change?Message: “The Power to Change” Scripture: Proverbs 13:12 (NKJV)Speaker: Pastor Touré RobertsDate: Sept. 14, 2025✨ Welcome to Your Moment of TransformationYou don't have to walk this journey alone.
