Vamos conversar... Abração procê! This week has been an absolute SHIT SHOW. Liz has COVID… again. She explains how that happened and how she has been dealing with not just her having COVID but her husband as well. We all know men seem to think they are sicker than women. Also Bree struggled his week with not sleeping (this time not because of Miles) and because it is her son's 12thbirthday. Its been an emotional one for Bree because of all the events that her and him have endured together. She also realized that she should be celebrating herself for being a survivor. Also Bree comes to a realization from a TikTok lawyer that made her relate so much in her mental health struggles. Liz started a new unusual hobby for her (at least for the short time being), and Bree is dying. She also started watching The Bear on Hulu and the girls drool over the main character. The Bree enlightening Liz on the Bridgerton drama between Netflx and these two girls who made the show a musical. The girls then talk about the Kim and Pete drama… were they real? Rebound? Whirlwind relationship? No matter what it was, they are depressed it is over.On Beverly hills this week, both Rinna and Sutton were so out of line. And Erika is thinking of being a dominatrix, like what?! And the women talking about Crystal's eating disorder behind her back was so inappropriate. The girls just feel so bad for Crystal and her struggle and its so wring that the rest of the cast is not taking Crystal's emotions or livelihood seriously. Tambien: Women Podcast Listeners: What We Know Right Now de Caila Litman — La segunda parte de nuestro artículo dedicada a las mujeres en podcasting. In this chapter we talk about the Tinder Swindler who recently became notorious after the recent Netflx documentary. He is a very cheeky chappy and his acts are diabolical but you can't help being a little impressed. Would we have fallen for it? When would we have clocked on? Could we have pulled off all those lies ourselves? All things which as easy to talk about it retrospect but really he would've had me at 'fancy a lil trip private jet'. Need some bad advice?

BUT, it also rewards us with undeserved riches. If you are an active manager, your approach to the latter will always have an impact on your ability to take advantage of the former. Those are the rules of engagement. This is what opportunity looks likeSell your mistakes and buy quality. Whatever strategy helps KEEP you invested in great companies is the best strategy.Below is interpreted from Gavin Bakers Interview on Invest Like The Best: highlights oursAn important signal to me that a correction may be nearing its end is when the stocks/groups that had been the epicenter of the weakness start to show some relative strength/stabilization vs. indices along with differentiation within them. This began to happen last week for the first time in ~3 months. Sub $100b tech names that had led to the downside consistently since Powell's reappointment were in-line(ish) with the indices and those with more FCF valuation support and better fundamentals performed better. There are now quite a few names at or below their 2018 trough valuations when the 10 year was 50% higher and we were nearly 2.5 years into a hiking cycle. Yes, inflation is higher now so Fed behavior may be different. However, many of these stocks have similar growth rates and much higher FCF margins when compared to 2018. Some can be valued on EV/FCF on 2023 numbers. Given that the economy is slowing rapidly and current leadership stocks are highly GDP sensitive, some of these sub $100b tech stocks with more recurring revenue and secular (i.e.) less GDP sensitive growth are likely on the cusp of positive relative revisions & perf. There are so many reasons to be afraid right now. Smaller, new tokens are explicitly manipulated, and the lack of shorting leads to exponential price moves.CEX listing events are historically bearish. More liquidity plus shorting pressure invites greater efficiency, which is the killer of exponential moves.Understand where you are in the information food chain. Unless you have good reason to believe you’re early, assume you’re late. (And, therefore, the exit liquidity.)(Position) Size matters. For stuff I expect to go exponential, I find selling in line with logarithmic moves a useful framework.Liquidation cascades are part of the market structure. There’s a ton of leverage in crypto and cross-CEX / DEX margin management is non-trivial. Keep your eyes on open interest and funding rates to understand liquidation risk. The markets tend to move in seasons. L1 season. Altcoin season. NFT season. You succeed by either front-running the next season or ignoring them entirely. When you find yourself “mid-season,” sometimes it pays to shut your brain off. There’s no need to get cute during a sentiment frenzy. (But don’t let yourself get caught up either.)Sentiment matters. Ponzis and pyramid schemes can go on far, far longer than they should.Airdrops and yield farming rewards are mostly about trying to “buy liquidity.” If the “vampire attack” fails to attract sticky liquidity, the protocol does too.Think of yield farming as renting your liquidity. But it’s probably safe to assume most farming rewards are going to zero.Think of AMM/LP positions as an automatically rebalancing 50/50 portfolio. If one of the legs has a risk of going to zero, your whole bag can go to zero. (Uniswap v3 model complicates this)Smart contract risk is very, very real. This is usually true where APRs are the highest (“duh”). Again, position sizing is key. (Or buy insurance.)Never share your keys. Ever. And if you’re going to interact with a potentially shady contract, use a hot wallet. This is a 24/7 market. If you're trading, understand that markets can move against you violently when you're sleeping. The market evolves at a very, very rapid pace. It can be information overload. Finding trusted curators can be key to separating signal from noise.VCs and angels are getting token allocations at pennies on the dollar. Understand who owns the token you're buying and when their lockup period ends.Tradfi quants, market makers / HFTs, and hedge funds are entering the space rapidly. The edge will likely be in the places those firms *can't* operate due to operational, accounting, legal, or liquidity constraints.NETFLX a story of narratives:It seems to me that the problems facing all of the assets covered above stem from their own success. In other words- they are the victims of their own success. The pandemic has been a poisoned chalice for many stocks as investors now expect growth largely pulled forward through the pandemic to continue… This is very unlikely.Netflix felt the brunt of this poisoned chalice on Friday as shares fell 20% due to disappointing subscriber growth figures. Like Peloton, Netflix was poised to benefit from the pandemic as people are stuck at home in need of content to consume. Two years into the pandemic, however, most people that would subscriber to Netflix have probably done so by this point.“Netflix posted its best subscriber growth ever in 2020, when billions of people were stuck at home. But the company has said that pulled from future growth and led to a slow start to 2021.” (Bloomberg)Bloomberg summarizes this issue perfectly. The problem for growth stocks is that their accelerated growth in this unique WFH environment has “pulled from future growth”. For investors, this inevitably means disappointment going forward unless baseline expectations are reset. Can PTON come back? Is NFLX cheap here? You decide. Slasher Summer is still going strong on Nick Nack Goes To The Movies, and while I didn't know how good or how bad the R.L. Stine adaptation was going to be, I knew I would end up talking about it on this podcast one way or another. Scream-like 90's horror, slasher summer camp, and...the third movie. After seeing that first one I was hooked for my weekly slasher movie. So if you have not yet taken the weekly forays down to Fear Street, you can binge through all three parts spanning multiple decades in one day or one weekend on Netflix. So what are you waiting for, go do that and come on back down to get my takes on all three parts and some surprisingly challenging rankings for a list consisting of just 3 movie. And when you are done there the fun never ends, check the show and yours truly out on social at either @NickNackMovies or NickNack_IC on Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram, and Letterboxd!

@PhilTheFilipino is back with his series titled, "Netflix & Phil"! For these episode, Phil recommends different shows that you'll find on streaming sites like Netflx, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or Disney+, or in this case, Apple TV! For today's episode, we brought in friend of the show, Kire VZ to help discuss the Apple TV Drama, Defending Jacob. There is so much to breakdown in this episode that we actually went into a full spoiler discussion in the second half of the episode. Don't worry, we'll give you ample time to stop the episode before we get into any spoilers! "An assistant DA's world is shattered when his beloved son gets charged with murder. Andy Barber has been an assistant district attorney in his suburban Massachusetts county for more than twenty years. He is respected in his community, tenacious in the courtroom, and happy at home with his wife, Laurie, and son, Jacob."

For these episode, Phil recommends different shows that you'll find on streaming sites like Netflx, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or Disney+, or in this case, Apple TV! On today's episode he goes into a deep dive on why Ted Lasso is the BEST new show he's watched in years. Ted Lasso is based on a character created for a series of NBC Sports Premiere League soccer promos, Ted Lasso was adapted for TV by star Jason Sudeikis and Scrubs mastermind Bill Lawrence. It's the story of boundlessly enthusiastic American college football coach Ted Lasso (Sudeikis) who, fresh off a Division II championship at Wichita State — home, in real life, to no football team — is hired to lead a generally mediocre Premiere League soccer team, AFC Richmond.

00:00:00 – Teaser 00:03:25 – The Masked Singer 00:11:50 – Let’s Dance 00:14:15 – Promis unter Palmen 00:24:00 – Too Hot to Handle 00:38:05 – Laura & der Wendler planen TV-Hochzeit 00:44:30 – M.O.M. – Milf oder Missy? 00:47:40 – Free European Song Contest 00:49:20 – Europe Shine A Light 00:54:50 – Pocher bekommt Late Night bei RTL 00:56:50 – ZeroZeroZero 01:13:00 – The Masked Show 01:19:25 – Bitte melde dich! This week, Alex & Dan bring you a guide of what to do to entertain yourself if you're under self quarantine, poorly or simply practicing some social distancing! Giving a round up of what is on Netflx, Prime Video and Disney+ - from films to box sets, they give you some of their favourite picks currently available on the streaming services; they also cover games, books and podcasts which you can check out during your time under the duvet! There's no medical advice here at the TWRAD - we're simply here to help you get through your time at home! Also due to some poor examples of social panic and selfish mentality by some UK shoppers, there's more than a couple of F-Bombs thrown during this episode. We're sorry not sorry. YOU DO NOT NEED THAT MUCH PASTA AND LOO ROLL, YOU MUPPETS. #GITS

Let's just all jump into the waters of Lake Minnetonka while listening to Afronerd Radio'sGrindhouse podcast-airing every Sunday at 6pm eastern. The topics up for discussion are: one of the last pre-Disney merger films from the X-Universe, Dark Phoenix premiered this weekend to less than mediocre reviews-we give our thoughts; and due to the current state of gender nowadays, a Marvel exec thinks that the X-men name may be outdated; and in even more X-men news, rumor has it that the original X-men animated series is being revived (with the same vocal talent and 90s animation style); Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam film now has a director, so does that mean that Shazam gets a sequel after all?; has a PC storm hit Youtube taking any and all conservative media away in its path?; grand opening...grand closing-the well received, Swamp Thing from the DC Universe streaming site has been cancelled after 10 eps (and only 2 eps having aired); Amazon Studios' Undone animated show trailer looks like a welcomed acid trip; Netflx' last Marvel series, Jessica Jones premiered its 3rd season trailer earlier ths week; and there's always topics we failed to address during the last podcast; Batman Returns! Sorta..our impressions of the Ford v Ferrari trailer with Christian Bale; And lastly, on his birthday, the TIDAL streaming service has released a new Prince album called Originals-songs from his legendary vault of a thousand unreleased songs. Call LIVE at 646-915-9620.
The revolution is being televised after all.On streaming platforms, a rebellion against powerful political, social and cultural forces is growing stronger than ever.THE HANDMAID'S TALE is eerily channeling American women's fears over the future of reproductive rights. The four-part series WHEN THEY SEE US, is powerfully capturing the racial bias and inequities in the criminal justice system. Netflx, Hulu and other platforms are also challenging the old rules of the casting game and increasing the visibility of communities vastly underrepresented on screen. And on cable, women across the socioeconomic divide are making trouble and challenging the patriarchy in both BIG LITTLE LIES and CLAWS. On this week's episode, THE REEL explores the shows that have sprung forth from the cracks where network executives have feared to tread. Guest hosts Lorraine Ali (@LorraineAli,) the Times TV critic, and Jen Yamato (@JenYamato,) a film reporter for the Times, sit in for Mark Olsen (@IndieFocus.)Later on, Olsen is back to dive deeper into BIG LITTLE LIES. The HBO hit was originally envisioned as a one-off, single season series, but fans demanded more from the Monterey Five.

Apologies for the slow, deep voices on this week's episode, the girls officially need a new computer. Should there be a GoFund Me for that? If you can ignore the odd audio, you'll hear about their casual Saturday turned to a full-on day, complete with three too many shots for 29 year olds and the debut of Brittany's fake Louis Vuitton fanny pack. Thirty years after Spike Lee introduced his bombastic, Mr. Fantastic self to the world via Nola Darling -- a free-spirited twenty-something Brooklyn graphic designer with three baes, a handsy lesbian pal, and an exasperated BFF -- there's still something about Nola Darling that we've just got to have. Decades later, it's Netflx that's gotta have it, and the prolific Lee has agreed to go back to the future and direct a 10-episode order of a 'contemporary take' on his sexy, groundbreaking indie. My guest for this episode, writer and filmmaker Nikki Harmon, is slightly terrified at the prospect, but will be watching anyway. Our guest this episode, Nikki Harmon, is a film and video professional who lives and works just outside her native Philadelphia. She has written, produced, worked on or directed on several documentaries, short narratives, educational and industrial films, music videos, feature-length films and television shows. Throughout her production career, Nikki has maintained her commitment to teach and worked for community organizations such as the Big Picture Alliance and Scribe Video Center teaching youth and adults video production. Most recently, she has taught at both Drexel and Arcadia universities as an adjunct professor. Nikki is a married mother of three who recently published her first novel, When I Was Your Girlfriend, and is working on a screenplay -- and another novel. She's Gotta Have It is her favorite Spike Lee film. Thirty years later, she still ain't mad at Nola, is fairly certain Mars Blackmon became more irritating with age, and agrees that it's just a matter of time before Bravo green lights an eye-rolling reality TV show called Basketball Lesbians. My money is on Logo or Centric though.... This episode also features a brand new No Tea for the Fever Theme Song by Loretta 'Funky LB' Brown. Want more deets -- or just to say hello? Definitivamente NO. – Hugh Jackman ¿¿¿ confirma ‘Old Man Logan‘???
