Welcome to Compromising Positions! The tech podcast that asks non-cybersecurity professionals what we in the industry can do to make their lives easier and help make our organisations more prepared to face ever-changing human-centric cyber threats! This week we are joined by Dr David Burkus, one of the world's leading business thinkers and best-selling author of five books on the topic of business and leadership. Dr Burkus has worked with the leadership teams of some internationally known names such as PepsiCo, Adobe and NASA.In this episode, “It's a Wonderful Hack! Building a high-performance cybersecurity team“, we discuss the three elements of the “Team Culture Triad”: common understanding, psychological safety and prosocial purpose, and how these elements are the backbone of every successful team.We delve into how interpersonal trust is a reciprocal process, that trust needs to be met with respect and an open mind, and how we can build a culture that learns from mistakes and people feel safe to challenge at all levels in the business. We also discuss how being part of a team is more like chess than checkers. We can't treat all people like they have the same skills or ways of working, we're a team yes, but it's a team of individuals. And the “It's a Wonderful Life” test. A brilliant thought experiment to show the impact of your team's contributions, which may not always be tied to revenue.Key Takeaways:Try a Little Tenderness: Empathy is important, but it's not just about feeling someone else's pain. To truly collaborate effectively, you need to understand your teammates on a deeper level, including their unique strengths, weaknesses, and working styles. By achieving this common understanding, you can anticipate their responses and adjust your approach to optimize teamwork.Hey Boss, your Idea Sucks: When was the last time someone in your team challenged your decision? If it was a while ago, you might want to take a look if you're building a team that fosters psychological safety. Developing Pro-Social Purpose: A team that prioritizes collective success over individual gain fosters a collaborative environment. When team members are driven by a common purpose, they're more likely to support each other and work towards shared goals. This sense of purpose strengthens the team and empowers individuals to contribute their best work. It's a Wonderful Life: Imagine if your cybersecurity team didn't exist. What would the consequences be? While this exercise helps you identify potential negative impacts, it's equally important to consider the positive contributions your team makes.Links to everything we discussed in this episode can be found in the show notes and if you liked the show, please do leave us a review. In this episode, Katie speaks with Jay Blades, a modern furniture restorer, upcycler and eco designer who is passionate about sustainability and community. We discuss his history with furniture restoration, the importance of investing in the next generation of creators, why helping people you may never meet truly matters and lots more. Jay Blades is now best known for presenting the BBC's Money for Nothing, The Repair Shop and most recently Jay and Dom's Home Fix. I've known Jay for a long time, so it was lovely to catch up with him for a proper conversation about a subject that is so close to both of our hearts. We discuss:Jay's earliest memory of repairing things. Jay's former non-profit Out of the Dark and teaching young people to repair and restore old furniture. The reason future proofing is so important. The end of his marriage, his experience with homelessness and how he came back from it all. Jay's experience of The Repair Shop and meeting Mary Berry … and more! Here are some highlights:How ‘Out of the Dark' Came To Be. “My ex-wife Jade and I were running the charity called ‘Street Dreams' which was basically about getting young people away from crime, so it was a fresh approach to old problems. The council, police, social services, fire services would come to us and say, ‘we've got a hot spot area where young people are committing crime and we need you to go in there and sort it out.' Funding started drying up and we needed to continue working with those young people. One of the things that we operated when we started running all these charities, it was a case of working yourself out of a job which basically means that you work with a group of young people who are disengaged, then they become engaged and where do they go with all that energy? Then we employ them, and then they start to become the new youth leaders. So,as we wanted to continue with these young people, Jade came up with the wonderful idea of restoring old furniture.”“About 50% of them have gone into restoration or furthering their education. They've gone on to upholstery, restoration, project management, interior design and things like that. A lot of them have just gone on to normal jobs. I think with the group of young people who used to have them just getting out of bed was a bonus, them not smoking or doing some low-level crime is a winner.” Why investing in Young People through Restoration Matters. “One of the things that I love about restoration is it brings so many elements for people who have been put on, let's say the scrap-heap. If you go into the educational system, if you don't get the A star plus or you don't get the grades, you're really gonna amount to nothing, is kind of what they're saying to you. If you get the A-star, you're going to college or university, have 2.5 kids and live happily ever after, you've got a brilliant job. Whereas the way that I look at things, I look at sustainability as a whole. Some people look at it as: you've got to separate your plastics from your paper and your glass and this and that. Sustainability includes people and these young people need to have something put into them that allows them to see themselves as sustainable and as a valued member of society, so that's what it was all about.” Why Future Proofing is so Important.“I think people and the planet are very important to me, especially when it comes to community work. I worked in the community sector and really there is no profit in the work, you're doing it for the love, and you're kind of doing it for people you're never gonna see. So I have this kind of way of functioning now. I'm here on this planet to influence people I'm never gonna meet, and that means that I have to leave a legacy, create something that can be taken over by someone else or re-designed by someone else, and then they would say, ‘Well, I kind of got that idea from that person, but this is what I've done with the idea. And that to me is what future-proofing is all about. Let's make sure that the future is bright for people who are not here yet, because if we continue the way that we're continuing on this planet, we're not gonna leave them a pretty problem. It's gonna be quite messy.” Learn more & connect with JayhereCheck out Jay's book ‘Making It'here Books we mentioned:My new book, Broken: Mending and Repair in a throwaway world is now available on pre-order here on BookShop.Org or on AmazonThe foreword has been written by Jay Blades and this book celebrates 25 artists, curators, designers and makers who have rejected the allure of the fast, disposable and easy in favour of the patina of use, the stories of age and the longevity of care and repair. Accompanying these profiles, six in-depth essays explore the societal, cultural and environmental roles of mending in a throwaway world. If you're listening to this, chances are that you have seen a snowflake, or perhaps a few billion covering the streets or ski slopes. Maybe you've even caught one on your tongue. But despite being such a common part of nature, until recently, snowflake formation largely remained a mystery.Today, I'm thrilled to be joined by Dr. Kenneth Libbrecht, a renowned expert in the field of snowflake physics.Dr. Libbrecht is a professor of physics at the California Institute of Technology, where he has been studying the mysteries of snowflakes for more than two decades. His research has helped to demystify some of the longstanding questions surrounding these complex and beautiful crystals. Dr. Libbrecht and his work has been featured on NPR, Scientific American, The New York Times, and many other publications. In addition to his work as a physicist, Dr. Libbrecht has authored multiple books about snowflakes, had his photos featured on US Postal Service stamps, and even served as a snowflake consultant for the popular Disney movie Frozen. In my conversation with Dr. Libbrecht, we explore the world of snowflake crystals, learn how they form and why they usually have 6 sides. Dr. Libbrecht discusses his discoveries and his innovative lab, and provides a primer for finding and photographing snowflakes. We also talk about snow in general, such as why some snow is light and fluffy, while other snow is heavy and dense, why a particular bacterium plays a role in artificial snow production at ski resorts, and what "diamond dust" is.And if you do nothing else, check out Dr. Libbrecht and his lab in the Veritasium video called “Why are snowflakes like this?” - it's fascinating. You can find it on YouTube, or linked in the show notes. And if you are a naturalist stuck inside in the winter, or visiting somewhere cold, take a moment and go outside, catch some flakes, and see what you've been missing. And be sure to check Dr. Libbrecht's website, snowcrystals.com, for photos, facts, science, projects and more!Get ready to learn about stellar dendrites!FULL SHOW NOTESLINKSPeople and OrganizationsSnowcrystals.com - Dr. Libbrecht's websiteUSPS Snowflake Stamps featuring Dr. Libbrecht's photosVeritasium Episode with Dr. Libbrecht - a must see!Books and Other ThingsKenneth Libbrecht's books on AmazonThe following music was used for this media project:Music: Spellbound by Brian Holtz MusicFree download: https://filmmusic.io/song/9616-spellboundLicense (CC BY 4.0): https://filmmusic.io/standard-licenseArtist website: https://brianholtzmusic.com Support the show

In today's "Down the Rabbit Hole" episode in life after a suicide loss, I talk about the NY Times article from this past week that has caused quite a stir amongst grievers and the therapeutic world alike. What do you think? Take a look at the article HERE and tell me what you think. Good conversation - persistent and consistent conversation about these hard topics IS how we will make progress and move the needle. Today I talk with the Hicks FAMILY - of #HicksStrong. Today I have a conversation with Jolee, Mike, and Sienna. If you have lost a child to suicide, a sibling to suicide or a family or friend in the military to suicide this episode will speak loudly to you! The Hicks are a warm and fun-loving family who are fiercely loyal and connected. Just three years ago, with one child in the Navy and the other in college, things were looking up for all of them On February 11th, 2019 they received the call that would forever change their lives. The person on the other end said “Mr. and Mrs. Hicks your son was found dead this morning”. Their hearts were shattered that day. They do not want other families to know this pain. They do not want our service members to feel alone…#HicksStrong is here to help! There is an overwhelming stigma, across all branches, regarding mental health in the military.Service members feel they cannot talk about their mental health difficulties without losing rank or being dishonorably discharged. They are being told to suck it up, being mistreated by their chain of command, and being mocked by peers. The mission is to SAVE MILITARY LIVES! - #HicksStrong Inc. aims to do this by linking veteran & active duty service members with confidential mental health therapists via telehealth and we cover up to 24 sessions.Believe in what they do and want to SUPPORT or DONATE - do so HEREFind a HUG MUG or other EVENT near you HERE Find ALL things HicksStrong HERE_______________________________________________ My website "The Leftover Pieces; Rebuilding You" is LIVE and that means my different SUPPORT SPACE Options are available and much more will be coming in 2022Go DIRECTLY to my SUPPORT page here where yo9u will find ALL of the ways to connect and find supportMy first two books (tools I am creating for you!) in the "Facing Life After Suicide" series are available on AmazonThe website again is at www.theleftoverpieces.comIf you, or someone you know, is struggling with suicidal thoughts PLEASE reach out:The National Suicide Lifeline is there for youIN a crisis you can also TEXT--->TEXT the word "HOME" to 741741 in the USAin Canada TEXT 686868in the UK TEXT 85258And Grievers, I am always here. Today I go "down the rabbit hole" for Part 3 in a 3 part series called "What has helped me the most" (after the loss of my son by suicide). I know that I have talked about these topics before - and I will again - because we need to hear them often, to be reminded - to be empowered - to SURVIVE!The first Part 1 (Ep 2 Season 3) addressed Community and Support. Part 2 was about Tools & Practices. These topics are the cornerstones for survival, hope, and (eventually) healing in this life after suicide loss. Please do respond if you would like to add to these or have any input that I might include.Today in the final part - part 3, I talk about 'Time & Self Care' and as I say in this episode, they are both relative AND relevant in this life after loss. Time can feel like it stands still and flies by all at once. Self-care is both necessary and yet often completely evades us. I hope to offer some insight and maybe some ideas that will help you in your own journey to rebuild after your loss by suicide. I have included a few links, one of which takes you to the signing up space to get started in our very own "Picking up the Pieces" Community. It's in the beginning phases so I hope you will consider getting involved now and help to make it exactly what you need!_______________________________________________ My website "The Leftover Pieces; Rebuilding You" is LIVE and that means my different SUPPORT SPACE Options are available and much more will be coming in 2022Go DIRECTLY to my SUPPORT page here where yo9u will find ALL of the ways to connect and find supportMy first two books (tools I am creating for you!) in the "Facing Life After Suicide" series are available on AmazonThe website again is at www.theleftoverpieces.comIf you, or someone you know, is struggling with suicidal thoughts PLEASE reach out:The National Suicide Lifeline is there for youIN a crisis you can also TEXT--->TEXT the word "HOME" to 741741 in the USAin Canada TEXT 686868in the UK TEXT 85258And Grievers, I am always here. Today, I sit down with two survivors left behind after losing their loved ones to suicide. Debbie lost her father Don 12 years ago, and Adrianna's brother Luc died in May of 2017 - both died by suicide with a firearm. These ladies are both a part of the "Everytown for Gun Safety" organization - although in different roles and capacities. Their stories are meaningful and deserve an attentive listen. Today we discuss:Sibling AND Parent Suicide LossAdvocacy for Gun Safety as it relates to suicides Gun Safety initiatives, ERPO's, Education and more being done to help reduce death by firearmWhy working with other survivors like yourself, finding a COMMUNITY, is helpful in healingYou can find "EVERYTOWN FOR GUN SAFETY" HERE to Volunteer (if you are not a survivor) Text - READY to 64433Want to GET INVOLVED? Most of what I discuss today centers around the idea that early on we find the tools that work to help us to build a 'toolkit' so that we may 'rebuild' ourselves and our life. How to make an LTL Shipment, full guide: How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central. LTL Shipment to AmazonLTL (Less than truckload) shipments are useful when you need to send large or multiple units into Amazon’s warehouses. Below I’ll cover how to create an LTL shipment.First, you will need to select the product(s) you want to ship in. Do this by going into your inventory and checking the checkbox next to the product(s) you will be creating a pallet shipment for. Then navigate towards the action drop-down menu on the upper-lefthand side and click on “Send/replenish inventory”.#ltl #shipment #FBAThis will direct you to the shipment creation page. On this page, you’ll want to select “Case-packed products” as the packaging type. This packaging type will help lower your chances of having your product(s) sent to multiple fulfillment centers. How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central 1Continue with the shipping plan and enter the box configurations. This means the number of units per box and the number of boxes for each product. Click continue. less than truckload shipment on amazonThe next page will ask you who preps the products. Some products are required by Amazon to be poly wrapped or bagged. If your products are required to be prepped then you have to either select “Merchant” or “Amazon” under who preps. If you choose “Merchant” then you are responsible for prepping your products. If you choose “Amazon” then Amazon will prep your products and charge 0.50 cent per unit. If your products are not required to be prepped then you can leave as is and continue to the next step in the shipment process. The next page is similar to the previous step. You will need to tell Amazon who will apply labels to the product. You have an option to apply the labels yourself or pay Amazon to apply the labels. If you choose Amazon, it will cost 0.20 cent per unit. If you choose to apply the labels yourself, click the print label button. This will download a pdf file with the number of product labels you need. In the example shipment, I have 40 units. This means I’ll be given 40 product labels, 1 product label per unit. Product labels need to be applied to the product itself. How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central 3The next step is a review of your shipment. Here it will tell you where your shipment is being sent. You also have the option to name your shipment. I recommend naming and dating the shipment for record purposes. After naming your shipment, click on “Approve & Continue”. Now you can work on your shipment! How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central 4How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central 5After clicking the “Work on shipment” button, you’ll be directed to the final step in the shipment process. In this step, you’ll need to tell Amazon if this shipment is an SPD (Small parcel delivery) or an LTL (Less than truckload). Since you are shipping as LTL you’ll also need to confirm the box configuration, give pallet dimensions, print labels, and schedule a pickup date.Select LTL and keep the shipping carrier as “Amazon-partnered Carrier”.How to Create an LTL shipment on Amazon Seller Central 6Under “how will the shipment be packed?”, select multiple boxes. Here you will need to confirm the box configuration by entering the shipment quantity again. Now click confirm and generate box labels.Support the show (https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/myamazonguy)

The traditional publishing industry might have a hard time breathing but is still alive. For many authors, the ultimate goal is to see their book on the shelves, maybe take a picture with it. Of course, this also means a pleasant income stream and an even better position to grow your business. If you chose to have a traditional publisher, it's good to know that it is their job to take care of the printing, warehousing, shipping, and all the hassle that comes with it. In a sense, it seems like they do everything for you, but sell your book...what is your job then?Self-publishing vs independent publishingYour job is to find the audience for your book. It might seem logical to write the book, have it distributed to a bookstore or the airport and then gather your fan base, but this entire process would be far easier if you build your platform beforehand. Twitter and a decent email list is the way to go. If you're wondering should I self publish, learn more on how to self-publish a book in today's episode.▶️▶️▶️▶️ Resources mentioned:Books by JonathanTOOLBOXJesse KriegerSEMRushLeave some feedback. We watched The Platform on Netflix with a bunch of HMT fans over the Chrome Netflix Party extension and boy, I love this movie! While I am certain that lots of purists will debate whether this is horror or not, I assure you, it’s worth the watch and will definitely find some way to make your skin crawl. The timing of this release makes me wonder if Netflix has a bunch of totally apropos titles just waiting in the wings to be released whenever they are most relevant. Intro - (0:36)Trailer - (7:17) Synopsis - (09:00) Review - (11:26) Score - (16:26) Spoilers - (25:35) Final Recommendations - (1:06:56) Taglines - (1:09:23) It Came From Social Media - (1:12:20)Outro - (1:25:57) @dgoebel00 on Instagram provided this amazing artwork. Follow him and check out his website. The Platform Synopsis The Platform is about a prison called the pit where there are three kinds of people; the ones above, the ones below, and the ones who fall. This is a twisted place where every cell contains two people and is stacked on top of a seemingly endless column of other cells. https://youtu.be/6gVAIx7OeyI Every day there is a massive banquet comprised of everyone in the prison’s favorite dish. This banquet contains enough calories for everyone in the pit to survive. The catch is the banquet is placed on a platform that stops at every cell for a short time, and it starts at the top and works its way down. Some prisoners are there by choice, some are there because of a crime, but there seems to be a promise that is made to all of them upon entry into the pit - if you do your time and make it out, you will be granted increased social standing. Our protagonist is a man called Goreng (Ivan Massagué), who spends time with several of the inmates of the pit. As he learns the ropes, he also seems to take issue with the inherent societal problems that it represents: greed and desperation. The Platform REVIEW The Platform is a Spanish film by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, and it’s one of the most unique ideas that I’ve seen put to the screen since Cube. Watch Cube on AmazonThe spiritual predecessor to The PlatformClick Here to Watch The minimal but rigid design of the pit echos in the sci-fi dystopian walls of the film itself. You know the sick and twisted world that lay in the basement of Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs? That terrifying and perverse reality that we like to forget exists in the real world? That feeling is magnified in The Platform and made the subject of the entire movie. MMM, tastes like class oppression! To make it even more hard-hitting, The Platform is clearly a commentary on humans and society today. While it’s hard to draw many direct analogies with the real world, the standout one seems to be human nature and the greed inherent therein. The Platform is not without hope, but it is chock-full of extreme violence, imagery, and ideas that make this a real stomach turner. This movie stays with me, and I wouldn’t mind watching it again. It doesn’t hold your hand, and there is clearly a lot of theorizing that one can do to try and determine the symbology and lessons within. Score for The Platform 9/10 Spoilers The Platform does a lot of things right. It maintains mystery, drama, tension, and is clearly meant to stand for something. Anything that you might be interested in, this movie probably touches on it. On top of all of that, it doesn’t hold your hand, leaving you free to interpret it’s message or take it at face value. ECHO, ECho, echo In favor of spoiling the movie point by point, I will instead share with you a few basic premises of this movie that I find the most relevant and exciting. The Rules of The Pit The prison known as “the pit” is a mostly lawless place with a few given rules. They are as follows: Some prisoners have opted in, others are being punished, but upon serving your time in the pit,

My guest today is Paul Migliorini. Paul leads the Amazon Web Services business across Australia and New Zealand - a role that he has been in for the last four years. Prior to joining AWS Paul held leadership roles in Asia and Australia with BT, Motorola, Regus and Ernst & Young, most recently as the CEO for Regus ANZ and Regional Managing Director for South Asia at BT.I was keen to speak to Paul because I have heard a lot of things about Amazon’s culture and ways of working that fascinated me. And there is nothing better than being able to get an insider’s perspective on how it all works. So if you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of one of the world’s fastest growing and most powerful companies, I think you’ll love my chat with Paul.We cover:How Paul has dramatically changed his mobile phone behaviourAmazon’s 14 key leadership principlesHow being frugal leads to innovativeThe importance of “two pizza teams"Why leaders at Amazon do more coaching rather than managingWhy input measures matter more than output measuresThe two types of decisions that can be made at Amazon and how this impacts decision-making speedThe importance of disagreeing and committing to decisionsHow strong opinions are encouraged at AmazonHow Amazon identifies people who will fit with the culture during the recruitment processThe 50% test that Amazon use in their recruitment processWhy Powerpoint is banned at AmazonThe critical role of long form narratives at AmazonWhy the first 15-20 minutes of meetings at Amazon are spent readingWhy Amazon create fictitious press releases for products that don’t existAmazon’s working backwards processWhy Paul sees it as his job to say yes to as many requests as possible. We spend a bit more time talking about flowbee. Maggie shares her theory on how she injured her shoulder (spoiler - link in show notes). More importantly, we talk about the importance of setting goals. We debate the quote around “what gets measured gets done” or whatever that quote might be. You get the idea! Our new quote is “what gets measured gets better” -friends on FIRE. We discuss the SMART goals framework. Ideally, your goals should be Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic, and Time Related (that’s SMART). There are a few versions of what SMART stands for out there - don’t get too hung up on the specifics, just set some goals that are specific, measurable, and time-bound. We also discuss the importance of discussing goals with your spouse or partner. Getting your partner on board with your goals is likely the most important part of achieving your goals. But in the case that you aren’t aligned, don’t let it be an excuse to what you can personally control. Maggie and Mike both share their 2020 goals. Mikes 2020 goals are:20% Spending Reduction (Maggie’s unsure how Mike can do this given his expenses are already pretty streamlined, but Mike thinks it’s possible)15% net worth growthRead 10 BooksBe a better vegan (Maggie is super excited about this goal!)Get more into minimalism (Maggie is also excited about this goal!)Maggie’s 2020 goals are:15% Net worth growth Live off of 25% of her salary and not dip into savings to augment her lifestyle Read 11 Books (because of course she wants to beat Mike)Spend more quality and focused time with her kids and husband (with phone off)Meditate 260 times (5X a week on average)Write a blog post once a week for Mostly Minimal LifePost a new podcast once a week for friends on FIREOther topics we cover on this episode:How much fun it can be to set goals with your friends! Tracking things that precisely definitely helps your awareness of how things are moving along. ---Show ReferencesWeighted Blankets on AmazonThe specific weighted blanket that Greg got Maggie for Valentine’s Day. In this episode, I am going to be discussing something that no script can help you with, and that is when you're doing everything right, but it all seems to go wrong. I remember the first time I actually recognized what was going on - I was actually on a call for selling a high priced item, high priced coaching, and mentoring courses. I thought I was having great conversations with the people I was looking to enroll. They loved the expert. They had a really strong bond with the material they had consumed already.I was just looking for an opportunity to enroll them right away, get them into better products, get them working more closely with the person who is going to be coaching them, and teaching and helping them along the way. What I didn't realize was that although the conversation was going well, I was missing something, because at the end of the day, it was broken. They had more questions. I wasn't able to close them, and it was very frustrating. The problem was that I wanted to overcome the need to handle a lot of objections and be able to help them with their concerns of buying, and help them get out of their own way to acquire what we were trying to sell them. And what I realized was that in those moments, I was making a bigger deal out of some of the questions, and they weren't objections. They were actually buyers’ questions. So, I’m going to tell you how to overcome the client's final concerns. Stay tuned.Key Takeaways:All these personal internal judgments about why they're asking questions (3:16)For the majority of people, they're just curious about the next step (3:31)Sometimes, they want to know a little bit more, or a better explanation (3:50)Often, when you make those rebuttal statements, a reaction is set off (5:55)I don’t use objection statements now - We’ve crafted discussion points (6:33)They want to purchase, but they have to overcome a bump in the road (8:43)There are pre-crafted examples that you can build into your business (12:01)Parallel their question to something outside of what you're selling (12:13)What can you share to make their statement or concern obsolete? (13:05)Listen to what's going on. Write it down. (13:52)They need a nudge, or you need the pressure to be relieved (15:18)Helping them to see themselves as the hero of the story (16:52)Being seen as a leader, an expert, an adviser, rather than a pushy person (17:09)----Additional Resources:The book "Influence" by Robert Cialdini on AmazonThe book "Pre-Suasion" by Robert Cialdini on AmazonThe Legendary Closers Facebook GroupUnlock the Secrets to Closing Your Prospects----You can find the podcast on Apple, Google, Spotify, Stitcher, YouTube, or wherever you listen to podcasts. If you haven’t already, please rate and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts!

The subscription will run just under $23 per month, and spending on the age of the child they’ll get either four board books (think Little Golden Books) or two hardcover picture books or novels. The board books go to kids who are two years old or younger, and the picture books and novels go to ages three to 12. This is significant because it’s the first time Amazon has offered a subscription service for physical books. And because you’ll ask, the books are selected by Amazon Books editors, who pick based on the appropriateness for the age ranges, and they’ll avoid duplicates by using the customer’s purchase history. — http://bit.ly/148-amazonThe launch of Publishing Technology Partners — For those looking to launch and build a business in the publishing space, Publishing Technology Partners is a consulting partnership that brings a lot of industry expertise to the table. The five founding partners have an impressive array of combined publishing and technology know-how, and are making it available to startups and businesses in need of development, marketing, strategy and more.
