Brandon Davis began Swan Energy, Inc in 2008, and serves as its CEO. Swan Energy Inc. manages over ninety (90) partnerships that participate in over two hundred (200) oil & gas wells in five (5) states. Brandon was born in Elk City, Oklahoma. Davis' startups and partnerships cover a wide range of industries from Nutrition 53, with former NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski, to ownership of Swan Racing, which competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from 2013-2014. The success of the Swan Energy family of companies is in part due to Davis' insistence on greater transparency and high-quality oil & gas projects that mutually benefit all involved parties. Davis also applies his unique hands-on approach to Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse, LLC, which he acquired in 2016. Since 1992, the company has successfully closed over 32,000 transactions involving more than one million properties and has generated more than $13.2 billion in sales. In 2015, The Denver Business Journal honored Brandon with the “40 Under 40” award, recognizing him for both his professional success and his involvement in Denver-area charities. Mr. Davis and the Swan Energy family of companies actively support several charities, including the Juvenile Research Diabetes Foundation, The Special Olympics, The Kempe Foundation, and Engineers Without Borders. Brandon lives in Houston with his two sons and enjoys spending time on their family farm.
Brandon Bennett is a sensitive adventurer. His desire to nurture a slow and intentional pace of life led him on a recent move from Austin to Costa Rica. Brandon supports creative and visionary leaders around the world. Through his coaching programmes, public speaking, and writing, he encourages these types of gentle rebels to clear out the noise, listen to what their heart might be saying, and connect with their unique gifts in order to leave the world positively affected by their presence in it. I love Brandon's presence and energy. He is such a joy to chat with, and I hope that comes across in our conversation. Brandon and I explore a range of topics including: How Brandon ended up moving from Austin to Costa Rica (without being able to visit first) The way seeds for life-change can take a while to take root and grow shoots How to listen out for the energetic voice that says "yes" to big changes (and why, even if we 'miss the call', there's plenty more where that came from) What it means for Brandon to live a 'peacefully productive' life, and the importance of crafting an intentional relationship with technology and efficiency Why joy is not found in fitting more in, even though we might believe just because we CAN fit more in we SHOULD The Emotional Mind-Body Connection - and how to prepare for the "opportunities to have our peace disturbed" in a healthy and empowered way What I've noticed in the faces of joyful sports fans...and how it looks like when there's a discrepancy between our inner emotional experience of a situation, and the emotional expression that occurs when we process it through particular social filters The importance of listening out for the inner message that tells us, "I'm not supposed to feel that"...and becoming aware of what that leads us to do next How new physiological patterns cannot be thought into existence, but brought into existence by a real experience in the moment Connect with Brandon through his website here: https://brandonbennett.com/ Over to You Have you ever experienced a strong inner nudge to shift something major in your life? How long did it take between the seed being planted and the journey coming into fruition? I'd love to hear your response in the comments below or on social media.

"IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO NOT NEGLECT YOURSELF. YOU ARE THE BEST TO YOUR KIDS WHEN YOU ARE HAPPY. AND YOU ARE HAPPY WHEN YOU ARE REMEMBERING WHO GOD CREATED YOU TO BE." Today, Landyn is bringing on long time friend, Brandon Kadish. Brandon is a singer/songwriter, wife to a fabulous music producer, mother of 3 (including twins!), and has the most AMAZING song out right now. BUT it was a journey for Brandon to get back to music. Because, like all moms tend to do, we put our passions on the back burner to fully give ourselves to our families. Brandon was born and raised in Mississippi and realized at a young age that she loved to sing. As a matter of fact, she recorded her first album at 12 and then, hilariously, hustled her way into her first songwriting publishing deal with her sister at 19. In this conversation, Brandon chats with Landyn about her journey from singing in church to playing in bars, her pregnancy path with PCOS, and that amazing song she just released. They also cover: Brandon’s unexpected path with TWINS, How to have 'the talk' (you know the one) with your kids, Why our standard for a ‘good mom’ is actually pretty stupid - and what the bar SHOULD be, and The surprising and scary thing the ladies suggest if you have a highschool senior, and How Brandon found her way back to her passion and HERSELF. Grab a cup of coffee. Or a glass of wine. Whatever you prefer. And meet Brandon. As entrepreneurs and business owners, we’ve all taken tests like Myers-Briggs, DISC, and Core Values Index to better understand who we are and where we naturally shine. But so few of us have used tools like these to understand our strengths as parents, even though it’s one of the most important roles in our lives! Today’s guest, my friend Brandon Miller, is the co-author of Incredible Family: Discover Your Parenting Strengths and Raise Your Kids with Confidence. Not only is the book packed with great information, but it also includes a powerful parenting assessment tool to help you and your partner uncover what makes you uniquely great as parents. Brandon’s really hit on something big with this book, as proven by the fact that he was voted Most Influential by the Front Row Dads Brotherhood after presenting this material at our last retreat. Also joining us is fellow Front Row Dad, Les McDaniel, who trains coaches that help parents and their children become stronger, more loving, and more peaceful. So what exactly does it mean to build an “incredible family” and how do we make it happen? That’s what this discussion is all about. If you want to bring the joy back into your parenting and shift from being frustrated to fascinated, and from conflict to cooperation, this episode is a must-listen! PS: Want 2 free copies of Incredible Family? Write an honest review of the podcast, send a screenshot of your review to jon@frontrowdads.com, and I’ll send you and your spouse a copy in the mail. It’s my way of thanking you for your support, and I know it’ll make a big difference for you and your family. Gold Nuggets What readers can expect from Incredible Family. How understanding our strengths as parents can help us identify patterns and resolve conflicts. How Brandon’s entrepreneurial experience informed his methodology as a parent. The value of raising kids who grow up confident (not arrogant). The importance of being more passionate about our families than our businesses. How reaffirming strengths amplifies them. Why inherent negativity bias constantly reaffirms what we’re not - and the power of shifting away from this mindset. Why Brandon and Les said yes to Front Row Dads and why they’re still in the Brotherhood. Big Questions Asked How do we partner with someone to give our children the five things they need? Do many parents have overlapping strengths? How do I make sense of my parenting assessment? Why don’t our priorities as parents always align? How can we look for the shine in our kids’ eyes to understand what’s working and what isn’t, in our families Why do so many parents lack confidence? Why aren’t men leading the way on unity right now? What happens when we play to our partners strengths and show up as a true leader? Why does everyone need a coach? How can strengths assessments help us solve society’s toughest challenges? How do we amplify what’s good to silence what’s not? Why can it be so hard for us to identify our true strengths? How does gratitude uncover strengths in other people? Interviews With The Hunting Masters - Big game Hunting podcast
Title: Coyote Calling and Predator Hunting with Brandon Nily Show Notes: Coyotes are one of the smartest animals out there, so if you want to outsmart them, you’d better bring your A game. We’re talking about predator hunting today with Brandon Nily from Coyote Calling Academy. We’ll be covering what kind of weapon is ideal, how to find the animals, and why you shouldn’t educate the animals about human behavior. Understanding coyote behavior will help you track them down, says Brandon. Because they’re creatures of habit, he likes to ask ranchers, rural school bus drivers, and rural postal workers where they usually see coyotes on their routes. That gives him an idea of where to lay in wait for them. If you don’t have the wind with you when you’re out there hunting them, you’re going to be starting off in the negative. You simply won’t be able to beat their nose. Brandon demonstrates some of the hunting calls he uses to attract coyotes to his position, keeping in mind that coyotes are motivated by sex, food, and a challenge. By manipulating the volume and pitch of a call, Brandon can change his message to this apex predator. If you’re interested in predator hunting, Brandon’s podcast Coyote Calling Academy covers it more thoroughly, and you can find it on any of the podcast platforms. What’s Inside: What does a warning bark from a coyote sound like? How Brandon finds where coyotes like to hang out. Why I approach all of my hunting like every white-tailed hunter does in the Midwest. About this episode Whenever I'm asked which episode of The Startup Story has been my favorite, I truly can't give an answer. I enjoy every single episode because of how much value every entrepreneur brings to the table and how much I learn from them. However, if I were to be asked which episode stands out the most in my mind, it would have to be one of my earliest episodes: my interview with Brandon “Monk” Muñoz from Monkwood Studios. Out of all of the interviews I've held, I've only hosted two founders who were woodworkers. Brandon is one of them. His episode stands out because of how incredibly eclectic his entrepreneurial journey has been. Brandon was both extremely transparent and vulnerable about his story and amazing at telling it. He explains how both he and his startup, Monkwood Studios, got to where they are today. If you want to learn from a talented and hilarious entrepreneur, tune into this conversation with Brandon “Monk” Muñoz. In this episode, you'll hear: How Brandon got into woodworking as a kid. His history with music and art. The mentor and friend that taught him how to build furniture. Why he was inspired to go out on his own. How much he failed and learned from his mistakes at the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. Why how you make something is more important than what you make. Brandon's experience doing ministry in London and building the unique startup of a church. Why he became an entrepreneur by need, not by choice. How he finally niched his business down and began specializing in wooden desks. His experience making a desk for James Hetfield. The connection he feels with the people who purchase his desks. The risk all creative entrepreneurs have to take. How are you best supporting your children in this world? Sylvia Farbstein has spent the last 2 decades learning how life presents us with unexpected twists and turns that can shake us to our core, stop us in our tracks or provide a catalyst for exciting change. Her professional world took a leap from the predictable and defined realm of private banking in New York City to one of few answers and no blueprint when her son, 21-year-old Brandon, was diagnosed with a rare form of dwarfism. This has led to an entrepreneurial career path for both mother and son that has impacted millions of lives. In this episode, we have an in-depth conversation about raising your child when there is trauma within the family. Sylvia says that we can make a real change in someone’s life by making positive statements. Plus, Sylvia speaks about how her family has gone through an evolution. All of their experiences have impacted how they became and who they are. Later, Sylvia explains how our children have incredible resiliency and strength. Brandon Fong made a connection at the age of 22 that changed his life. It led him to work alongside one of the most successful podcasters and entrepreneurs around and gave him access to an elite group of influencers at the top of their fields. This all became possible because of the lessons that Brandon learned from his parents at the age of 12. These lessons enabled him to master at a young age, the right mindset and three of the most important skills that an entrepreneur needs for success. They also happen to be the ones that many entrepreneurs struggle to implement. He has continued to build on those skills and today he is on the journey to his own seven figure business and is helping entreprepreneurs use his ‘Magic Connection' method to develop relationships that will change their lives too. Enjoy! What you'll discover: The three lessons that Brandon's parents taught him at a young age that have helped him fastrack his way to entrepreneurial success. The environments you should look to spend time in that will help you grow. The skill of ‘connection' and it's underpinning layers. Today’s podcast features speed and strength coach Brandon Byrd. Brandon Byrd is the owner of Byrd’s Sports Performance in Orefield, Pennsylvania. Brandon is an alumni of the University of Pittsburgh and has learned from elite coaches such as Louie Simmons, Charlie Francis, Buddy Morris and others. Brandon’s unique blend of rotating training stimuli, and his competitive, PR driven environment has elicited noteworthy speed, power and strength gains in his athletes. If you follow Brandon on social media, you’ll see the regular occurrence of sprint and jump records from his athletes. Brandon has some of the highest-output training out there in his ability to cultivate speed and strength. I always enjoy digging into the training of elite coaches, into the nuts and bolts that drives their systems. Some of the running themes on this show have been ideas such as the rotation of big training stimuli from week to week (such as in EP 190 with Grant Fowler), the power of resisted sprinting (EP 12 and 63 with JB Morin and Cameron Josse), overspeed sprinting (EP 51 with Chris Korfist), and then the power of competition and PR’s (EP 135 with Tony Holler). This episode with coach Brandon Byrd truly brings all of those elements together in a way that gets some of the best training results you’ll find. On today’s podcast, Brandon goes into the core of his system, and how he rotates his sprint efforts based on the needs of the athlete, to get the most out of their system. He also goes into his background with Westside Barbell, and the elements he learned from Louie Simmons that go into his training, as well as strength pre-requisites he carries for his athletes to optimize their readiness for the strength and speed program. (Note that when Brandon is talking about fly 10’s he is talking yards, not meters) Today’s episode is brought to you by SimpliFaster, supplier of high-end athletic development tools, such as the Freelap timing system, kBox, Sprint 1080, and more. View more podcast episodes at the podcast homepage Timestamps and Main Points 5:00 Brandon’s main influences in athletic performance and speed training 11:30 How principles of West-side Barbell training show up in Brandon’s sprint training system 22:45 How Brandon rotates uphill and downhill sprinting to blast personal bests in speed 29:30 How Brandon uses wickets in context of his speed and sprint training 39:30 Concepts in using resisted sprinting, as well as jump training in Brandon’s program 45:20 More specifics on how Brandon rotates and progresses his speed and sprint training throughout the training year, and also how he modulates this for stride length, vs. stride frequency style athletes 58:50 What Brandon’s weekly sprint setup looks like for athletes 1:07.20 The power of “PR”s in Brandon’s system and how that feeds into his entire training session “Once you can control 90% of the force-velocity curve, you can create great athletes” “I don’t think the FMS is a great thing, because when you are sitting statically and not under high forces or high loads, everyone is going to look great, but once you are high speeds in sprinting, or high loads in lifting, you are going to see some weaknesses” “I believe your technique in sprinting is determined by your weaknesses… once you fix their weaknesses, then it is easier to fix technique” “Glute, hamstring, and opposite QL, those must fire explosively and fast, and they all must be strong… when I start an athlete, the first thing I do test is that QL” “In my gym, if you can’t do so much in a 45 degree hyperextension, I can’t put a bar on your back” “The body is scared to go faster… it hates change, so you have to force change by changing modalities… regular sprinting can’t do all those things (in context of using uphill, downhill and resisted sprinting to help break barriers)” “65-75% of the kids I get are heel strikers; they have to run fo...
Brandon, his wife, and his two kids were house shopping when they took an unexpected hard pivot. Now they've been RVing full-time since 2015 and even added a third kid to the mix! It all started when Brandon was working full-time and building up freelance work as a graphic designer. He noticed people being let go and started working more and more hours on the side so that when he was eventually let go from his job, he could seamlessly transition to client work. How do you manage a full-time job and a side hustle and two kids at home? "It just came down to less sleep," say Brandon. (And every other parent ever.) In this podcast episode, Heath and Brandon talk about a lot of the changes that come with taking your family on the road and having a baby on the road. Things like: Why RVing has helped Brandon's daughter come out of her shell How much easier it is to make friends as travelers than in "normal life" Fulltime Families and how it's a must for any RVing family As well as diving into the business stuff like: Using the retainer model for clients and how it improved the work Brandon could produce How keeping clients on retainer means never taking a week off How Brandon determined his pricing model Figuring out how many clients he could manage at one time One of the struggles of growing this style of business After years of client-based work, Brandon opened an Amazon store with print-on-demand products to supplement his client work. AKA he found a way to take his graphic design skills and earn passive income on one of the world's biggest e-commerce sites. Be sure to listen to the end of this episode for Brandon's three tips on how to be successful on Amazon. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rve/message

The Credeurs are steadfast proponents of functional medicine and getting to the root cause of disease. They are fierce advocates for this model of healthcare in their day-to-day actions and efforts, and they have been healthcare warriors at the regulatory, legislative and legal levels. You don’t have to be disadvantaged to have empathy for people who are. Recognizing the good fortune you’ve been born into and using it to help you see the world through other’s eyes is something to be proud of. Welcome to the Darin Olien Show. On this podcast, you’ll hear me, Darin Olien, “the superfood hunter,” have inspiring and enlightening conversations with extraordinary people from all walks of life. Although our ideas and approaches to life may differ, our ultimate goal is the same- to save the planet one conversation at a time. If you’re interested in expanding your view of the world by learning new perspectives on health, nutrition and healing the planet and want to learn more about society’s Fatal Conveniences™- the things we may be doing because the world we live in makes us believe we have to, even though they may be doing harm- then this is the podcast for you. In this episode, I chat with one of my best friends, Brandon Jenner. You probably know Brandon by his last name. That’s ok, he’s used to that. In fact, the bulk of our conversation is about how Brandon has taken his inherited fame and used it to fuel his empathy for people who haven’t had the same good fortune he has. Not only has Brandon’s signature empathy fueled his personality and the good he does in the world, but it also is the driving force behind his music. In his debut album, Plan on Feelings, Brandon got extremely vulnerable while writing the song “Anybody?”. We discuss the role vulnerability has played in his life and how you can incorporate it into yours. Brandon is just an all-around great guy. It was fun to get to have a conversation with him about things we don’t usually touch on in our normal weekly hangs. I also got to pick his brain on his down to earth approach to wellness and healthy eating, which I think you’ll enjoy as well. If you’ve gone (or taken online) to a yoga class recently, you’ve heard Sol Rising’s music. His original soundscapes evoke feelings of inspiration and bliss through an eclectic mix of electronic music, mid-tempo house, chill-trap, ambient and hip-hop. Basically a modern version of yoga music with out the kirtan. Today on the show we get to dive into Sol Rising or Brandon Au’s back story from being top 5% in his accounting class to headlining yoga events across the world. He began meditating at age four with a walking mantra technique. His mother took him to visit numerous spiritual teachers, who inspired him on the spiritual path he walks today. As a teenager, he became a hip hop fanatic. His rooted interest in hip hop led him to learning the art of scratching — using turntables as musical instruments. Sol Rising soon became one of America’s top scratch DJs, winning second place at the DMC, the world’s most prestigious DJ competition. After graduating, he realized accounting was not his path. A journey to India with Sai Maa illuminated his true calling — to light up people’s awareness of their true nature through music. This lead him to study audio engineering and production at Pyramind Studios in San Francisco, CA.Now a successful Producer with over 10 albums released (with many more on their way), Sol Rising has licensed music for brands such as Apple, Clarks Shoes and US Polo as well as a placement in Academy Award winning director Paolo Sorrentino’s latest film “Loro.” Sol Rising has been featured in major media outlets including The Washington Post and Yoga Journal, and has also been streamed over 10 million times on Spotify. Sol Rising has toured in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia at festivals such as Wanderlust, Burning Man and Lightning in a Bottle.Listen to hear the journey of any creative and heart centered person to keep showing up (even when the next step isn’t clear). If you remember visiting your grandparents in a senior living facility, you probably have a lot of the same ideas about it that Brandon Schwab did. On a trip to Florida, Brandon accidentally stumbled on a quietly successful part of senior living: boutique senior homes. He shares how he sold off every rental in his portfolio to move into boutique senior living homes, what his numbers are, and how he balances the ethical implications in this business. After realizing the huge amount of cash flow potential in smaller senior homes, Brandon set about finding the perfect home for his first investment property. He describes how he structured the deal, his average profit, and how he filled the house. Because he didn’t want to be the owner/operator, Brandon had to partner up with someone. He shares why he chose an RN, what he looked for when hiring one, and how many hours he has an employee on site. He also shares what that includes, and how much he can charge per client. The sweet spot for senior boutique homes are ranch homes, and he can usually fit 10-16 beds in a good-sized ranch home. By offering a caregiver ratio of 1:5, he does give up some of the profit, but he gives great care. And he still ends up with a profit margin of 38%. Instead of chasing dollars, he has pivoted and become a purpose-driven business. He shares how experiencing end-of-life care changed the mission of his business, and how it’s shaped his employees. If this idea intrigues you, Brandon’s actively looking for deals for 5,000+ square foot homes across the country. If you’ve got a deal for him, book a thirty-minute call with him on his website. What’s Inside: —What kind of home you’re looking for to open a boutique senior living home. —Who you should partner with so that you’re not the owner/operator. —The limitations for 2 story homes, and commercial regulations for these homes. —The ethical considerations that Brandon’s had to think about. —How Brandon still uses lease options for financing senior homes. —Brandon breaks down his monthly numbers for us, holding nothing back.

“From that point on there was reason behind every note I played.” - Brandon reflecting on his first drum lesson with Jared Falk. Brandon Toews is the product director at Drumeo, author of two drumming books (The Best Beginner Drum Book and The Drummer’s Toolbox), drummer, and educator. At 22, he has managed to achieve quite an impressive resume within the industry. Recently Brandon has also become an endorsed artist with Evans Drumheads, Istanbul Agop Cymbals and Vic Firth Drumsticks. In this interview we explore playing with intention, balancing heavy work loads, and a first lesson with Jared that always stuck with Brandon. You Will Hear About…. A brief conversation about drum kit setups. A quick overview of Brandon’s career going back six years to the present. A valuable lesson learned during Brandon’s first drum lesson with Jared. Whether or not drummers are disciplined enough to stick with focused practice. Our thoughts about gigs that excite us vs the ones that don’t as much but still need to exist for us to pay our bills. How Brandon managed to write two drum books in a year and a half while attending school. Why Should You Listen? There is general drum nerdery in this episode that will be fun for listeners but our conversation also explores some topics that hold a great deal of relevance for all drummers. For any drummers who solely earn their livelihood through drumming may get a kick out of our conversation about the gigs that we may sometimes feel take up too much of our gigging schedule. Imagine this; The audience is eating dinner, having conversations and your job is to provide a gentle and appropriate ambience for their dinner. The sound guy says, “you are too loud. Please play quieter”. This kind of remark can easily diminish the fun factor of what we might be fantasizing about. And that fantasy might be going all out with no volume or creative restrictions in sight with a totally engaged audience and whistling and some positive outbursts. We all love that scenario don’t we? We also talk about the importance of playing with intention. Really considering the notes and grooves that we choose to provide something appropriate and tasteful to a band setting. It is easy to get caught up with the flashy “drummy” stuff and while there is a time and place for that, we need to keep that to a minimum when we know it doesn’t belong. These points mentioned are definitely the big takeaways from this episode and it is interesting to hear Brandon’s perspective on this. When you know that you're in a valley, then you can navigate it in a way that's the most effective as opposed to getting lost in the darkness. Give your thoughts and emotions their space, observe them, allow them to pass by, and do whatever you can to just gently find your way out of it but never by forcing, masking, or holding them down." - Brandon Beachum The Positive Side Of Relationships Ending "All relationships have the purpose of growth and the idea that one has to last forever in order to be successful is a big misconception that permeates our collective consciousness. You are going to come together with different energies for all of eternity and thank goodness there is some shelf-life to all of them. Whether you spend a whole lifetime together or 5 weeks or 5 days, that separation gives us the opportunity to miss the relationship and have gratitude for it. You never truly lose anyone or anything. Honor that relationship, know that you are infinitely abundant and the universe will send whatever else you need." - Brandon Beachum Experiencing Life Fully Through Love, Wonder, And Pain "God is using all of these 'painful experiences' for love in the end. Wholeheartedly, we will or already have experienced every type of love, wonder, or pain in our lifetimes. That's the game, I believe, that our soul signed up for; it signed up to go down the deep rabbit hole of contrast so that it could fully appreciate who and what we are in this life. Understanding that helps us realize that it's all going to be okay in the end. We are not victims because everything that we experience is not happening to us but for us. Life is not happening to you, it is always, always, and always happening for you."- Brandon Beachum Links From Today's Show LIFEAID CBD 303 Aaron Hinde The Celestine Prophecy: An Adventure by James Redfield Buckminster Fuller 096 Daniel Schmachtenberger Alan Watts 032 Gay and Katie Hendricks Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife by Dr. Eben Alexander III Whatever Arises, Love That: A Love Revolution That Begins with You by Matt Kahn Michael Beckwith Life is NOT a Journey - Alan Watts Interstellar trailer Inside Out trailer Dr. Erica Middlemiss Dr. Joe Dispenza The M21 Wellness Guide Positive Head Podcast #271: Cory Allen Mystic Manor Optimystic Instagram Positive Head podcast Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube Brandon Beachum Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn About Brandon Beachum Brandon Beachum is a podcaster, entrepreneur, writer, musician, philosopher, and truth-seeker. He originally made his way to California from the east coast when his former band received a development deal with Elektra Records back in 2001. Brandon has been a serial entrepreneur since childhood and in 2010, while living on a friend’s couch, he founded what is now his first recognizably successful company, ResortShare. In August of 2015, ResortShare was named the 569th fastest-growing private company in America in the annual Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list. In October 2015 ResortShare received an offer to be bought out for $30 million dollars by a publicly-traded company, but within 12 hours of receiving the offer, they lost 90% of their revenue stream due to an exclusive arrangement a major partner (Booking.com) signed with a much larger competitor. Brandon learned some great life lessons through this hardship and throughout his experience at ResortShare and is now focusing on various other projects. (Positive Head, HelloVacay.com, Sesh.io) The Ultimate Nature Of Reality Since discussing and continually exploring what he refers to as “The Ultimate Nature of Reality” is something he feels called very strongly to do, he decided that launching a podcast would be the best avenue to pursue his calling and to help bring that increasingly popular topic of conversation to a broader audience. So in May 2015, he launched PositiveHead.com and The Positive Head Podcast. The show’s aim is to help listeners consistently maintain elevated vibration. In an effort to help the listeners achieve that aim, every Wednesday he interviews a different author, director, artist, blogger, scientist, entrepreneur or other notable personality who is out there making a positive impact on the world. He has been extremely fortunate to have the privilege to interview some amazing and highly-respected guests in the very first year of his show (i.e. Dr. Eben Alexander, Marian Goodell, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Nassim Haramein). Brandon's Dedication To Better Wellness On the other weekdays, Brandon and his co-host Dalien give interpretations of their favorite quotes, share a bit of mind-expanding or mysterious news, take questions from the audience, and dig into any other mind-expansive topics that they feel will help keep the listeners’ souls fed on a regular basis. The Positive Head Podcast has continued to experience exponential growth and was featured in the “New & Noteworthy” section on iTunes within weeks of being launched, and is currently listed in the “What’s Hot” section on iTunes in multiple categories. Brandon is also currently in the process of writing his first two books, The Fountain of You: How the marriage of science and spirituality is birthing us into the age of timelessness and The Talk: A wakeup call for those ready to re-member. A native of New Jersey, right-handed pitcher Brandon Bielak was chosen by the Houston Astros in the 11th round of the 2017 MLB First Year Player Draft out of Notre Dame, and is rapidly ascending the ranks as a prized Houston asset. Bielak attended St. Joseph, the same private, all-boys Roman Catholic high school in Metuchen, NJ where Jon Bon Jovi also ttended for two years some three dozen years before Bielak (pronounced BEE-lack). A nearby Sayreville native, Bielak committed to Notre Dame following his sophomore year after being offered a full scholarship, but not before earning four varsity letters in baseball for the Falcons. Bielak posted a 0.82 ERA as a senior, striking out 87 on his way to an 8-1 record as St. Joseph went 21-9 and won the Greater Middlesex County Championship. Having paid his 2017 dues in Houston’s lower minor leagues (rookie league, short season A), Bielak bypassed full season Class A Quad Cities to begin 2018 at Advanced-A Buies Creek, where he started half of his 14 games. He earned Carolina League mid-season All-Star recognition (with a 2.10 ERA in 55.2 IP, striking out 74 to 17 walks), which led to a spot on Houston’s Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks affiliate. Bielak was the starter ten times in his eleven appearances for the Hooks, and his 2.35 ERA in 61.1 IP impressed Houston brass, as did his 57 Ks vs 22 walks. Sammy and Brandon discuss: Brandon's baseball background How the Astro's develop their pitchers What kind of pitcher he is His use (or not) of Rapsodo His pitching routines How Brandon thinks about the mental game of baseball How he controls the pace of the game as a pitcher You can follow Brandon on Instagram or Twitter. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/playballkid/message

This week’s Freestyle Friday focuses on how to work with others and make a good impression while you are maintaining your own personal brand. Running your own business takes a lot of time, and that time is already divvied up as you try to balance several plates at once—logistics, finance, communications and, of course, content. It’s by no means an easy balancing act, so it helps to have a go-to method for establishing rapport with customers to hear what they want and figure out how you can help them. In this episode, Brandon discusses what he says and does to establish clear, healthy communication with his customers and explains how to push them toward a sale without necessarily giving your services away for free. The Finer Details of This Episode: What do you charge for and what do you give away for free? How Brandon establishes a rapport with potential customers. What Brandon wants to convey in conversations with people he’s interested in working with. Brandon walks us through the process he uses to diagnose his customers’ issues. The three choices Brandon’s customers face at the end of the problem-solving process. Quotes: “You can learn the tactics of being more persuasive while still maintaining strong relationships with your customers.” “The problem that they see in their business is a problem and it is one that is solvable, it’s not something they have to do alone.” “When you’re giving away your free advice, when you’re giving away your tips or tricks, I do think you need to prove to people that you are the real deal.” Links: Visit Brandon’s website at www.BrandsOnBrandsOnBrands.com Join the Brand Growth Now Community on Facebook at www.brandonbrands.com/community And please leave a rating and review on iTunes!

Thanks for joining another episode of Dropset Gorgeous Radio! We’re kicking off 2019 with my friend and special guest Brandon Carter. To put it lightly, Brandon’s resume is STACKED! He is an Instagram influencer, business fitness coach, Keto transformation expert, former model and he owns multiple businesses. His knowledge of the fitness industry is as impressive as his many accomplishments, and I’m excited for him to share this valuable information with all of you! Brandon’s reason for business coaching How Brandon is able to work with a wide variety of clients The drawbacks of starting multiple businesses The qualities and characteristics to look for in a team Brandon’s journey of earning money illegally to earning money legally The importance of keeping a calendar and allocating your time appropriately The value of actually being present in the present moment Although Brandon Carter enjoys success now, his journey to the top was far from smooth. Hailing from a rough neighborhood of Chicago’s south side, he was sent to military school after getting in trouble as a young teen. He found refuge in training and returned to Chicago expecting more trouble but instead was able to share his knowledge with others. Besides personal training, Brandon had a talent for the drums, keyboard, and making music. He had a short-lived stint as a recording artist and music producer as part of the Sony label, but was dropped after a merger with BMG. Dejected and unsure of what to do next, Brandon turned to selling drugs. Eventually, he was scouted by a modeling agency in New York but stayed mixed up with drugs. It was not until losing friends to murder and prison and even losing his own father to suicide that Brandon decided to walk away from drug dealing. He now makes an honest living helping others make sustainable changes to either their health or business. Powerful Quotes to Remember: It’s hard to take someone who’s already good to great, but anyone who does the work is going to get results they want. I’ve made every mistake. I’m able to show both my successes and my losses to my students. The man who chases two rabbits doesn’t get either one. 1400 people die a day from obesity-related health issues. We have the opportunity to help change that. Learn from someone who has already been through it. Get advice from them and listen! Sometimes you have to be humble enough to go to the back and let others take charge. Every week has 168 hours. 56 hours for sleep and 56 hours for work. What are you doing with the other 56 hours? Nobody gets the best of you when your attention is divided. Be present in the moment. Startup founders are known for their analytical minds and Type A personalities. It is easy to get caught in a loop of building billion-dollar companies to keep investors happy—and lose yourself in the process. The entrepreneur may even forget why they started the company in the first place! But how do we bridge the business and spiritual worlds? How do we afford founders the opportunity to create and maintain balance? How do we design a collaborative model that will fund, grow and scale startups for profit AND purpose? Brandon Evans is the Cofounder and CEO of 1heart, an organization on a mission to foster a new generation of leaders who create from the heart, aligned to purpose—collectively elevating the consciousness of the planet as one tribe. 1heart’s first generation of companies includes 1heart Journeys, Guided leadership coaching and Superwell premium superfoods. An experienced entrepreneur himself, Brandon built two $100M companies before embarking on a spiritual journey. Today, he is passionate about helping others connect business and spiritual growth. On this episode of Men on Purpose, Brandon joins Emerald to share his experience being fired from the company he founded, explaining how investor-led goals take precedence over the needs of the entrepreneur in the venture capital model. He describes the disconnect that led to his spiritual journey—and ultimately the viral Medium article that inspired his current mission through 1heart. Brandon offers insight around the practices that support him in getting out of his head to connect to source and trust something other than his mind. Listen in to understand how Brandon is helping founders and leaders maintain balance and learn how 1heart is designing a collective approach to funding startups with a focus on profit AND purpose. Brandon Bruce co-founded Cirrus Insight, an all-in-one productivity sales platform that connects Gmail and Outlook with Salesforce. Find out how they grew to having over 150,000 paying users across 5,000 companies and gained up to $12.8M in revenue. Visit https://www.leadquizzes.com/podcast for the complete show notes of every podcast episode. Topics Discussed in this Episode: [01:36] How they came up with the idea for Cirrus Insight [04:56] How Brandon knew that his friend was going to be a good business partner [07:28] How they managed the transition period before they launched their business and getting their first customers [10:53] How they got feedback from beta users [14:15] How they got people to start as free users to becoming their first customers [19:21] How they decided to launch their product and move forward with their business [22:40] What the early months looked like for Cirrus Insight in terms of revenue [24:47] How their first hires helped them grow the business [25:53] How they developed the traffic and their email list and put their sales model together [32:35] How their pricing has evolved from the time they first launched [35:52] How they compensate their sales people for their demos [39:09] How they prioritized feedback and what to build on the development side and the operations side [44:48] What Brandon did that had the biggest impact on his growth [46:23] What they look for in the people that they hire Key Takeaways: There’s an emotionally stabilizing effect of having another person you can share the roller coaster of building a business with. The biggest thing that causes early stage companies to fail is that the founders break up. It is a threat to building a company. It’s helpful to have smart people on deck to help with the million things that have to get done. Community involvement whether online or in person is key to growing a business. The opportunities to hire software developers primarily comes through referrals. Action Steps: If you’re in the software or app business, find the marketplace online where people are likely to search and/or gather for product offerings like yours. Be active in the Salesforce community and be active in all the boards, trying to answer as many questions are possible. Build a customer success team just as you would build a sales team. Brandon said: “We’ve always known that there’s a risk in the market that a very large competitor could come in and stomp on everybody. So you’re kind of always aware of that and yet you get very used to living with that risk.” “Dig in earlier to something like this, building something that looks like a snowball and pushing it downhill… Get started early and often.” More from Brandon Bruce and Cirrus Insight: Cirrus Insight’s Website Brandon’s Email Brandon’s LinkedIn Resources mentioned in this episode: The Lean Startup: How Today's Entrepreneurs Use Continuous Innovation to Create Radically Successful Businesses Sponsor link 14-day Free Trial to LeadQuizzes Thank you for listening! Brandon Gaunce was notified in November of 2013 that his corporate job position was being eliminated and his options included relocating within the US or taking a demotion to stay in his hometown and face a 2-hour one-way commute to and from work daily and he needed to decide by May of 2014. During that time, he met Mitch Stephen who expressed with empathy that there could be another option if he was willing to be a good student and put in lots and lots of effort! Brandon chose this option and became a student of Mitch’s while taking on a part-time job to help ease the transition. 2014 was a tough year, but Brandon and his family made it through successfully by doing just 3 deals and now, a short 4 years later, Brandon has carved out his own little niche in real estate. Coupled with Mitch’s Owner Finance Model, Brandon is averaging 40-50 property acquisitions per year and has an annual income 4 times that of his previous corporate job and a net worth of close to 1 million dollars. He is forever grateful that God put Mitch in his life and doesn’t know where he would be today otherwise! What you’ll learn about in this episode: How Brandon went from earning $70,000 plus bonuses annually in corporate America to a net worth of more than $680,000 in his third year as a real estate investor earning more than $300,000 that year alone The shocking thing about the way Brandon made his money as a real estate investor (hint: it wasn’t in large cities) Brandon’s affection for ugly properties and how those ugly houses, mobile homes, and unimproved lots can earn very pretty money How realtors are leaving money on the table by not taking on these types of houses and presenting them to investors and other potentially interested parties Why Mitch suggests Brandon think twice about bringing his wife into the business Working through the lows to come out on top How sometimes the highs and the lows in real estate and any other investing come in the same month, nearly at the same time Brandon’s business high moment and Mitch’s role in that special moment How Brandon is able to have a closing rate of nearly 80 percent Why tenacity is one of Brandon’s greatest assets Resources: REInvestorSummit.com/privatelenders REInvestorSummit.com/privatemoney REInvestorSummit.com/Everywhere REInvestorSummit.com/Livecomm REInvestorSummit.com/coaching

We are incredibly fortunate to have Brandon Tatum joining us on Lost Arts Radio. He is an example to all of us that no matter where you are starting, no matter how dire your circumstances are right now, you can change your life in amazing ways, and become a source of hope and inspiration to all those around you. How Brandon did that is a story I think you will want to hear. America and the rest of the world are being torn to shreds by design, but at the same time, there is a rebirth of consciousness going on. In an epic drama that most people barely know is occurring around them, forces of destruction work to break us down into warring factions, trying to destroy the fabric of society, hoping to replace our chances of peace and prosperity with chaos and fear. Their goal is world tyranny, which they hope we will beg for, to rescue us from the hell they will create, blaming all our problems on too much freedom. But their deeper goal is destruction of all life on the planet, including us, and they are well on their way. Still, our situation is far from hopeless. Forces of good are infinitely stronger, but we have to wake up to our potential in order to use them fully. That is why the global rulers' highest priority is to keep us from becoming self-aware. That tells us that waking up to what we can really become, and acting on it, is what we need to do. Brandon's life got off to a rough start and he had some hard things going on as a kid. But a few words of wisdom became a turning point for an 8-year old, and the same can happen to you at any age, if you are willing to listen and act. Now Brandon speaks for a group calling Turning Point, USA, inspiring young people to take responsibility for their lives, to remember basic values they can live by to become a force for healing in the world. What Brandon and this group are doing is exciting. And there is a message in what Brandon has done that is directly relevant to your life right now.
It is the rare episode of Just the Tips where our guest receives the trumpet fanfare typically reserved for my esteemed British co-host Dean Holland. But if anyone deserves it, it’s Brandon Carter, one of the funniest and most strategic marketers in the game. You may know Brandon as a fitness expert, but we’re talking to him today about his marketing success story. If you want to know how to get yourself out there, and how to really connect with your audience, you need to join the millions of other people who follow him. And you need to listen to this week’s episode of Just the Tips. Born and raised on the South Side Brandon told us his story of discovering fitness and turning his life around, and it’s not the typical one you hear. Brandon grew up on the South Side of Chicago, where gangs were prevalent and difficult to avoid. His parents, suspecting Brandon was heading down the wrong path, sent him to military school, where he quickly found a need to be stronger and be able to defend himself. His first summer home from school, he found a fitness coach and began training daily. And that really turned his life around, setting him on a path to be a personal trainer, something he did in college before turning professional. If you want to hear about the seed of someone’s success, you need to listen to this week’s episode of Just the Tips. Happiness is a stupid goal Brandon has had, as he put it, a lot of crazy shit happen in his life. When he realized that personal training was a tough business if you wanted to make a lot of money, he started dealing drugs. And then one day he got a call that his dad was missing and had left a suicide note behind. That one event changed everything for Brandon, and he began to work several jobs to make money for himself and his family. I had to ask him on this week’s Just the Tips, how did he have the mindset to pull himself out of that situation? How did he not assume the fetal position? And his answer was straightforward enough: It’s not about being happy, it’s about doing what you have to do. Find your marketing avatar Just to throw out some numbers, Brandon has more than 1.5 million followers on Facebook and more than 750,000 subscribers on YouTube. His smallest social channel is Instagram with just under 150,000. How does he do it? He has one overarching principle: Post awesome shit frequently. But beyond that, Brandon talks about how he created a marketing avatar: The type of person he wants to market to, and then crafts his message based on what they’re into, and what problems they need solving. This is a hilarious and insightful episode of Just the Tips, with lots of candid and surprising advice. We also talk premium tiers, engagement, content creation, retention and more! Listen in to hear How he managed to achieve over 1200 members with his first launch The pros and cons he’s found of having a launch cycle membership and why he might not choose that route if he was starting again How he cut his churn in half and and uses ongoing content to keep members coming back for more Why Brandon decided to move from books and speaking to a membership site and how it’s saving him time and stress How Brandon created and runs his membership alongside a full time job and with a minimal team Offering both standard and VIP membership options and how this impacted sign up numbers How he overcame objections from an audience unfamiliar with membership sites Why he gave influencers in his niche free accounts and how this created a loyal band of evangelists for the membership Why he’s considering moving to an evergreen membership despite his success with launches

Superior Wilderness Designs is a cottage company out of Michigan that builds ultralight backpacks for the Thru Hiking crowed. Brandon McIntyre and Ashley Thick started SWD early in 2016 and promptly left to hike the Pacific Crest Trails with their handmade packs. I asked Brandon to come on the podcast to talk about his company, but what we ended up doing is having a far more in depth conversation. We touch on his pack designs, how he got started and why, and what backpacking means to him. I found Brandon to be a pleasure to talk to and immediately felt like I was in the presence of someone who loves what backpacking can do for people.
