----------- SPREAD THE SCIENCE! Wer Eisbadet verbrennt Energie. Was steckt dahinter? Und kann man diesen Trick vielleicht im Ausdauersport anwenden, um mehr Leistung zu erzielen?Diesen Fragen werden wir heute auf den Grund gehen! -----------SPREAD THE SCIENCE! Eisbaden reduziert Muskelkater, steigert die Leistung und boostet dein Immunsystem? Stimmt das oder ist das nur ein Mythos? First Things First: Was ist eigentlich Eisbaden? As someone who used to work with explosives for a living and has trained physically throughout his career as a member of Special Operations teams, Josh Duntz is no stranger to physical and mental stress. In today’s episode we catch up about his transition from the Navy's Explosive Ordnance Disposal community via a remote-work sales role facilitated by the DoD Skill Bridge program. Josh and I recorded our first conversation in August of 2019 while he was still on Active Duty. I wanted to follow up with Josh now to hear about his experiences and offer listeners some insight into how this program works. At the end of his fellowship, Josh made the decision to transition again and chose entrepreneurship as his path. He is now working hard to launch Stasis, a Human Performance Optimization company focused on delivering high-tech, self-serve ice baths to gym owners and other fitness practitioners. We discuss how Josh and his team are inventing new technology and software which allows users to pay by the minute to jump in an ice bath at their local gym or health club, versus the far more expensive and liquid nitrogen based cryosauna offered elsewhere. Through a combination of technology innovation, facilitated by a mobile app, Josh is trying to offer customers a way to expose themselves to healthy stress without needing to pay for an expensive membership or subscription. We talk about the benefits of cryotherapy, and the advantages of a cold-water bath treatment versus the more expensive liquid nitrogen based cryosauna, as well as how routine exposure to stress can create a buffer to deal with the slings and arrows of everyday life.

SFR 220: How I Pitched Russell Brunson To Keynote At OfferMind...

Sales Funnel Radio

Play Episode Listen Later Feb 26, 2019 42:55

The biggest mistake I see people make when approaching others of influence is they enter the relationship without adding value to the other.   This is my campaign I used to approach Russell Brunson about Keynoting at OfferMind 2019...   HOW RUSSELL BRUNSON HELPED ME CREATE OFFERMIND   I wanted my own event real bad, so last year, when Russell Brunson came out with his 30-Days Book, I decided to piggyback off the launch to build my event.   Each affiliate received a $100 for each person who signed up through their link.   375 people bought the book through me which meant that I could use that income to create a sweet event.   Each person who bought the 30 Day Book with my link also got a free ticket to my first OfferMind.   We found a room that would hold 180 people, and about 160 RSVP’d to get tickets.   There's always a 5 - 10% no-show rate on all events, no matter what you do (crazy, I know),  so on the day, we ended up with roughly 150 showing up, which is pretty good for the first time.   I know that OfferMind is an event that I will probably do each year, so I wrote down my dream list of potential speakers on my whiteboard.   You can guess who was top of that list, right? ;-)   HOW NOT TO PITCH YOUR DREAM 100   People have asked:  “Stephen, you’re friends. Why didn't you just ask Russell to speak at Offermind?”   Well, first of all, I’d NEVER leverage a relationship for the sake of my business. So I'm gonna do EVERYTHING I would normally do to Russell that speaking at OfferMind was a GREAT idea.   I created a full-out stack and offer for him with closes, calls to actions, AND a fast-action bonus!     If you're gonna ask an influencer to do something, you better go the freakin' distance.   The absolute worst way to get someone to speak at your event (especially a dream 100 influencer) is to send them a message and say, “You wanna speak at my event?”   I've been asked to speak at two events recently, where I can tell my name was just being used to fill their event.   I will NEVER do any business with those individuals the rest of my life, they burned the bridge so hard.   You're gonna NOT get an influencer to show up for your business by walking up and saying, “Hey, you being coming to my event would truly be awesome for me and my business.” That's stupid!   You need to make your OFFER amazing and speak their language.   That's exactly what I did with Russell Brunson, and thankfully he agreed. I'm really pumped! The reason I'm sharing this with you is two-fold:   #1: I want you to come to OfferMind.   #2: I want to show you how to approach a Dream 100 influencer   Next, I’m gonna go through the script and offer I created for Russell to show you how I presented it, but if you wanna download the script, all you gotta do is get a ticket for OfferMind.   I'm handing the script out to each person who grabs a ticket at OfferMind.com. PITCHING MR RUSSELL BRUNSON   So, instead of just asking Russell straight out… I started dropping hints.   My first move was to send him a Vox saying, “I'm NOT asking you to speak at OfferMind, I'm just telling you I'm trying to think of ways to get you to speak at OfferMind.”   I was kinda messing with him, and surprisingly, he messaged back, and  said, “I want sushi while getting a massage.”   I said, “As long as it's not me doing them, yeah.”   So two days later, I walked into his office with a masseuse gift certificate from his favorite masseuse and sushi for the entire ClickFunnels office.   I also wrote a sales script and created a stack slide to pitch him on keynoting at OfferMind.   I wrote out the vehicle, internal and external related false beliefs that  I knew he’d go through when I asked him to keynote at my event.   I went through the whole marketing process and created an offer and wrote a full freakin' script. I probably spent five hours writing it.   This was a spawn of my brain. Sometimes that's great, and sometimes it's dangerous... right now, it's great.   Here’s how I did it…   CREATING AN OFFER FIT FOR RUSSELL BRUNSON   I took Russell’s webinar script which he knows inside out, (I use that script a lot too), and I went slide by slide from the stack slide on, to create an entire script.   What you’re gonna get when you choose to keynote at OfferMind 2019. The first thing you're gonna get when you commit to keynote at OfferMind 2019:   #1: First, you're gonna be the featured keynote speaker, with ads, paid content, hyper fans all promoting the event.   Also, Steve's personal closing team will be calling his audience after any purchase throughout the year leading up to the OfferMind event to sell 'em tickets. Whoa!   *On the right side, I added in a lot of trial closes which imitate what you'd expect a person's brain to be going through as I'm speaking...   It’s a two-sided conversation that I'm having both with Russell, but it’s also what’s going on inside of his own head.   #2: Secondly, you're gonna get more paid traffic to your One Funnel Away Challenge, Steve's ad team will drive paid traffic to each of your One Funnel Away Challenges throughout the year.   Each One Funnel Away buyer who buys through Steve's affiliate link will get credit for an OfferMind ticket where they'll further get ClickFunnels indoctrination from Stephen.   Wow, that's pretty awesome, right? Now you're probably thinking…   (Okay, now, I'm starting to hit secondary objections.)   Right now, you're probably thinking, “Is Steve Larsen or OfferMind even big enough for my level of influence?   (That's a vehicle-based objection right there, I'm hittin' it on the head.) And... “Could the decision to speak threaten my status as the CEO of ClickFunnels?”   You're probably thinking that right? Great question! We thought of that too. So, the third thing you're gonna get…   (And so there's literally a piece of the offer combating each one of those objections exactly as I’d do in any script.)   #3: So, the third thing you're gonna get high-end stage and event designers with professional media coverage to make this the coolest experience.   Steve has already hired the same A/V companies that do a lot of the Funnel Hacking Live and Two Comma Club X stages and they'll put on the event so the caliber will match your caliber.   Steve's caliber will match your caliber.   We'll also have professional photographers and videographers taking pictures, recordings, and B-roll that we'll turn over to you afterward for your own use.   (He's always looking for cool B-roll.)   You'll have your own custom backdrop and smoke that comes out. The crowd will be chanting, “Russell, Russell, Russell,” with Seven Nation Army blaring when I invite you onstage.   Additionally, the audience will be wearing the same Funnel Hacking or funnel promoting t-shirt like a uniform... which I will provide.   If that isn't enough, Steve will personally yell in the face of anyone NOT absolutely going nuts when you walk up.   *Um, my jaw just dropped* Are you starting to imagine how epic you're gonna look on the stage of OfferMind?   If you listen carefully, you probably already can hear them chanting, right? “Russell, Russell!”   BUT if you're like me, you're probably thinking, “Ah but, what would I even talk about?”   (I know he's gonna think that)   *How do I know? Because I sat in a room with him for two years. He's gonna go, “Um, I don't even know what to talk about? That's alright I'll figure it out later.”   I know he's going to say that, but I wanna make sure I answer that concern as well. It's very much an internal-based concern:     “I can see OfferMind would be a cool thing to do, but what would I talk about? Do I have the personal capacity to jump in and do that?”   He's gonna wanna over-deliver. So the objection is gonna be content focused, and what’s he gonna talk about?  So I'm gonna bring that up ahead of time.   Ah, but what are you gonna talk about... and for how long? #4: So the fourth you're gonna get topic and length autonomy. You'll have 500 - 800 people in the room...   *We're going for 500 to 800 people (if it’s possible with the event space). I'm sure we'll figure it out... but 500 people at least is what we're goin' for.   Steve will be speaking the full first day, and we'd like you to keynote on day two. You'll be the last speaker and have total control on what you talk about and how long you wanna go.   Feel free to test new material or talk about anything you want, but at the end of your speech…   (Okay, now I'm gonna tie into something that he wants)   It's not just WHAT does Steve Larsen want... It's HOW can I make my purposes align with Russell Brunson's purpose?   *If you're trying to Dream 100 somebody, aligning with their purpose is a major key...   At the end of your speech, Steve would like some time to interview you on-stage, sitting on couches, about your new Traffic Secrets book... releasing a few months before or after OfferMind... Feel free to pitch him!   Already, as one of your top product affiliates, Steve will drive heavy traffic to your new book using that interview you do with him onstage.   At the end, the crowd will go nuts and cheer you offstage. Steve will take a few open questions as you leave through our secret backstage door to avoid swarming.   (I know he's concerned about that, so I'm gonna put that in)   Woo! I don't know about you, but this is getting pretty amazing, right? By now you're starting to see how insane this all will be, right? Luckily, Steve is a safe bet too…   Imagine yourself speaking on his stage.   Think of how epic the ads will look to have a sweet stage interview promoting your NEW Traffic Secrets Book.   As a busy CEO, you're probably saying inside…   (Here comes the external-based concern)   ... “I might not have the time or mental bandwidth to add another thing in my life.” Right? So here's the fifth thing in the offer.   #5: You're gonna get your choice of the actual event date to fit your schedule.   (Oh! There's the one-two punch, right!)   Q: What's the biggest reason someone would probably NOT be able to come speak or keynote when they want to?   A: Scheduling! So what if I just let him choose the schedule? Steve isn't here to add stress and understands firsthand what you do and the speed of your office. He doesn't expect you to stay the whole time or try to sprint from one thing to the next just to squeeze in a stressful pitch or speech.   Keep it all simple by telling him what day works for you, he'll plan the event date around you.   Oh, and don't worry about travel either, a limo will pick you up from ClickFunnels headquarters and take you to the event room where you'll be greeted by Steve and taken to your private room.   Prüvit Ketones, (which he loves, I love, I drink every day) Bullet Bars, Quest Bars, Hydrogen water will be chilled and waiting for you in a private retreat and recharge room.   Bring anyone you like with you, and the limo will take you back when you're ready.   *Now I know that he doesn't wanna even think about travel. So I'm gonna take care of that. Even though it's local, I'm gonna send a limo to pick him up ‘cause he's the man.   Dang, this sounds super awesome, right? This sounds like a no-brainer! What will everyone think when the limo arrives to pick you up? Imagine their faces.   Imagine stickin' it to that daycare next door; can't tell you where to park, right?   (There's a daycare right next to ClickFunnels that's a little bit moody about where you park. So I threw in a little humor here)   This will be one of the easiest and coolest speaking experiences you've ever had.   HE SAID, YES!   I want you to see like what lengths I went to to make this happen:   I bought sushi for the whole office. I didn't say why I just arranged it and got it there.   We called his favorite massage places to figure out where he got his last massage last because I knew he liked it.  We had to go hunting to figure out who that was so we could get it book it again.   Then in the office, on-camera, in front of a bunch of people, I read this script to him:   Just to recap, here's what you're gonna get when you agree to keynote at OfferMind 2019:   You're gonna be the featured keynote speaker.   You get more paid traffic to your One Funnel Away Challenges throughout the entire year.   You get a high-end stage and event designers with media coverage that's amazing.   Topic and length autonomy.   Your choice of the actual event date to fit your schedule.   Dang! That's a really good deal, but wait, there's MORE... on top of everything above... if you confirm with Stephen soon, (so he can start preparations), you'll also get:   Your own speaker highlight video created at Steve's expense and given to your two video guys for any B-roll they'd like to use.   You're gonna get a copy of your Traffic Secrets book interview that you do with Steve onstage for more B-roll epicness.   I'm gonna give you a couples massage by your favorite masseuse, (gift certificates already attached).   Sushi, from your favorite local restaurant which will already be in the kitchen today at noon.   Professional recordings of Steve screaming, “It's Monday, baby! It's Tuesday, baby!” … and so forth, so you can use them for all those ideas you keep bringing up. (Yeah his voice has that weird ability.)   Man my face is starting to melt. This offer is too cool, OfferMind must teach really cool offer creation methods. I just wish Steve let this offer last forever.   The total value of this offer is incalculable. It's too awesome, but unfortunately, it can't last long due to overexposure of pure awesomeness.   So, to take advantage of the positive effects this offer will have on your:   Offer   Mission   Bottom line   ….just open up your phone right now and Vox Steve the phrase, “On like Donkey Kong.”   Again, that's, “On like Donkey Kong” to get started now. Luckily for you, we've recently started accepting talking or typing options on Voxer. Now, Steve had two options when he made this offer …   (I went and I grabbed a lot of the closes he likes to use in webinars)   The first was to go as weak sauce as possible, be a little pansy, be a little Sally, and approach you with the question, “Will you speak at my event?” in a stupid dumb voice with no value added back to you.   But that wouldn't really incentivize you to agree to this…   ... and Steve's beard would shrink two sizes too small.   The second option was to make it as cool and memorable as he could be dumping all profits from his One Funnel Away affiliate earnings into a sick, awesome, kick sissies in the teeth event where you can nerd out to whatever level you want.   Now let me ask you a question:   If all this did was let you get in front of a group of people of your hyper-followers already in your community, would it be worth it? Of course, right?   If all this did was let you test your material and thoughts before you test them on your own platforms, would that be worth it? Yeah!   And like I said, you'd be getting tons of creative assets at Steve's expense just for showing up.   If all this did was give you another chance to promote your new awesome book, build pressure for the launch, and push more people to ClickFunnels, would it be worth it? Absolutely, right?   Steve knows you…   He knows you're gonna spend hours behind your computer promoting your new book when it launches...   Why not spend some of that time in an awesome, local, professional location with a swarm of people who already know, love and buy from you?   Again, get started on this risk-free offer now, simply open up your phone and Vox Steve the phrase, “On like Donkey Kong.” Again, that's. “On like Donkey Kong.”   (He has a shirt that says that and he loves it. He says that phrase a lot.)   To make it even easier, Steve has already Voxed you this phrase. You don't even need to type it, just forward it back to him.   Remember, this offer won't last forever!   Just think, what's one extra Traffics Secrets book buyer worth to you? $7.95, $9.95, or even $50,000 each and every year. What would that do for you and your family?   Imagine getting that new BioHacking test, or even a second Cryosauna, which you can shove Steve in again.   ( There are a few inside jokes… I'm gonna skip some bits here)   Remember, this isn't a cost, it's an investment!   Just open up your phone right now and Vox Steve the phrase, “On like Donkey Kong,” to get started.   Agents are standing by for your Vox.   Again, to keynote at OfferMind, simply pick up your phone right now and look at it, let it recognize your face, look at it, open up the Voxer, and tell Steve, “On like Donkey Kong,” (talk or type accepted) and Steve will handle the rest.   Remember, you're just one Vox away. THE DREAM 100   On my Dream 100 speaker list, along with Russell Brunson, I have:   Mark Joyner,  he created a book called The Irresistible Offer many years ago.   Dean Holland   Todd Brown   Jay Abraham   Dana Derricks   These are all some of the best *living* offer creators. I don't know anyone beyond that list, that's really it…   I’ll reach out to Dean Holland and Dana Derricks because they’re on the same level of influence as me, so that's an okay thing to do. I'm sure that they'll say “Yes,” hopefully so.   If NOT they're gonna get tagged inside this episode for Sales Funnel Radio, and I'll ask them that way as well.   But Russell gets approached like crazy by tons of people. So he's got walls and barriers just to keep his own sanity. We can all understand that, right?   So to approach influencers who are above your status, you’ve gotta go all out...   I got a pretty awesome Dream 100 package in the mail.   I was handed an envelope and inside, somebody (this is actually very clever), had attached an actual hundred dollar bill.   They attached a hundred dollar bill and said, “We know your goal was to always do 10 grand a day, so a hundred dollars should buy 14 minutes of your time. Please read the letter and see if you would like to spend the time.”   That’s super cool!   STATUS DECREASE   One of the principles of the Dream 100 is that:   If what I'm offering presents a risk of a status decrease, the answer will be, NO!   This is more important than whether or not the event fits into their schedule.   So I'm crafting an offer with stories and I'm listing out his false beliefs.   If it's gonna decrease his status, or if there's any risk that it will, he's already gonna say, NO.   So I need to show ways to increase his status while protecting it from decrease at the same time.   Does that make sense?   I’m gonna answer the objection of, “Oh crap, will this decrease my status?” I'm gonna say, “No, in fact, here's how it will increase your status.”   So one of the BEST things you can do when approaching a Dream 100 influencer is to know what campaigns they’re running.   I need to know what campaigns an individual is already running that I could piggyback off to increase their status?   The internal hang-up definitely is NOT, “I'm not good enough, I'm not smart enough.” Instead, for Russell, it would probably be, “What do you want me to teach?”   For him, it's not so much about money obviously... he's probably gonna have a time-based concern 'cause he's Russell Brunson. He's also gonna have a mental shelf space concern.   It's NOT, I don't have enough to teach, it's, “Oh my gosh, I have to spend time planning what I'll teach.” That's a real concern. That's a BIG issue.   I solve each one of these pain points inside of the offer.   Q: Where am I fishing out of right now? Where's my market?   A: ClickFunnels.   Q: What's the new opportunity?   A: OfferMind.   There are parts of the offer designed to scratch, soothe and satiate all the concerns that come from the vehicle, internal, external-based objections...   And then, there are a few pieces that are just awesome and straight from me. X-A-V-I-E-R   Here's the XAVIER model for drafting offers created by yours truly, and highly featured in my book coming out soon called Your Core Offer.   Go to YourCoreOffer.com if you wanna get on the waiting list.   X = what you want to sell.   A = what they want to buy.   These are NOT ALWAYS the same thing.   When you sell something to somebody, they don't ALWAYS want what you want to sell.   For Example:   Russell wants to sell Funnel Hacks web class. When he sells Funnel Hacks web class you pre-buy ClickFunnels for six months with a whole bunch of programs.   The A: the anchor of the offer, is ClickFunnels itself. People just want ClickFunnels; so that's a prime example of what I'm talking about there.   Now, back to my offer to Russell…   So X - equals:   Russell what you're gonna get when you come speak at OfferMind 2019, the first thing you're gonna be the only keynote speaker at OfferMind. I'm gonna put ads with a lot of ad money behind it, content, fans, all promoting your appearance and your name.   *One of the things I'm gonna give him is status. That's one of the ways I'm fighting the status decrease thing, but it's not the exclusive place that I'm fighting it yet.   A - equals:   Each One Funnel Away Challenge buyer in 2019 who buys through Steve's affiliate link will get credit to OfferMind for further ClickFunnels indoctrination from you and Steve.   That's HUGE! What did I just do?   ‘A’ is the anchor of the offer, it is the part of the offer that’s the sexiest. The thing that the other person wants the most.   I know Russell is spending a ton of time, money, effort, energy, and resources on this One Funnel Away Challenge.   He's re-launching it, and it's gonna be massive. He's gonna push hard to get a ton MORE people in One Funnel Away Challenge than are probably in ClickFunnels right now. So the question is: What could I do to best support that?   What if I attached my OfferMind tickets to that again to fill the events, promote him, promote ClickFunnels and align myself with what he's trying to do.   That's a no-brainer because now the offer’s NOT about me.   DON’T PITCH AN IDEA LIKE THIS   I hate it when somebody walks up, and they're like, “Stephen, I'm so excited man, why don't you come get on my show because you’d be great and you’d bring tons of people to my show.”   ...I'm like, “Wow, okay, what’s in this for me? This is a two-way relationship, you're just goin' one way though. That’s hurting our relationship by you approaching me like that.”   STUPID! STUPID! It's D-U-M-B!   You’re gonna trigger:   Fear of status decrease, “Why on Earth is this for me?”     Rejection...   Objection...   Tons of stuff  like:   “Oh, my gosh, NO. I don't have time for that.”   “What would you want me to teach? Nah!” *status decrease*   “There's no way that vehicle aligns with where I'm moving.   This is key; when I’m dropping something out to a Dream 100 influencer...   I'm aligning with their current mission... so part of their offer is also part of my offer.   Dana Derricks just did this to me, and it's one of the reasons why he's speaking at OfferMind.   ALIGN   I was on Voxer with Dana, and he goes, “Dude, I would love to pre-buy some OfferMind tickets next year to give away because I want my people to go through some of your stuff.”   I was like, “Sick, super cool. Yeah, that'd be awesome.”   What did he do?   He said, “Let me give your tickets away as part of my offer.”   Russell Brunson did the exact same thing with Grant Cardone for his 10X Event.   He went to Grant Cardone pre-bought a thousand of your tickets to give away as part of his current offers.   What does that do?   It spikes the value, someone else fulfills on it, aligns the two offers together.   That's part of the “A” in anchor for XAVIER. Does that make sense, you guys gettin' this? I'm NOT trial closing... Does that really make sense? This is HUGE. This is a BIG BIG deal right here.   In my pitch, it went like this:   Each One Funnel Away Challenge buyer in 2019 who buys through Steve's affiliate link will get credit to OfferMind for further ClickFunnels indoctrination from you and Steve…   Meaning: I am going to go and push One Funnel Away Challenge really really hard. When people buy the One Funnel Away Challenge through me, I'm gonna give them credit to get an OfferMind ticket where you can speak to more of your people and continue to get them inside ClickFunnels.   That's HUGE!  It aligns both me and Russell.   VEHICLE OBJECTION?   Q: What's the vehicle-based fear here?   A: Probably status decrease: “Is this good enough?” That could be the potential major concern about speaking at OfferMind. “Is he big enough?”   Russell would never boastingly say that, but you get what I'm saying… He’s Russell Brunson, right!   I'm like, “Oh don't worry about it...   To protect your status I want you to know that we hire the exact same A/V team that designed your Funnel Hacking Live stages, and they're gonna put on the OfferMind stage. The stage caliber will match your caliber.”   One of the most frustrating things I've ever experienced ever is to show up to an event that I've been invited to speak at, and you can tell that there wasn't much thought put into the experience in the room.   That's why OfferMind costs me so much money... and it did it cost me a lot of money. I actually went in the hole just a little bit... because I wanted to create an experience.   You can find out MORE about how I created OfferMind and made it an experience here. I specifically made it so it felt like you were entering a new environment... (which is so freaking key, it is ridiculous!)   I'm letting Russell know:   We have all the old OfferMind recordings. This is what it looked like last time. It was very professional. It was amazing; very top-notch and high caliber... it’ll be the same kind of thing.   Rest assured, it's the same people you're used to working with, so there won't be any new faces when you're getting mic'd up. There won't be any new experiences.”   Does that make sense?   INTERNAL OBJECTIONS This is how I'm combating the internal hangup, “What would you want me to teach?”   I see it’ll be cool, but…   How will I?   How can I?   Do I?   Will I?   Do I know enough?   I don't know what to talk about?”   It’s ALL the ‘I’s’... I know one of your strategies, Russell, is to go in and test your material on smaller crowds before you go to your major one. Feel free to do that at OfferMind.   Let your noggin have the playground and the fun crazy zone that you wanna go to, and test your material on my audience.   Does that make sense?  I just solved that internal objection for him.   EXTERNAL OBJECTIONS   How will I solve the objection: “I don't have time to speak at your OfferMind, but I want to...”   I believe it's a good vehicle.   I believe I could pull off.   BUT I DON’T have time/ money/ resources #externalbasedobjection   Don't worry about it, man. You will choose the actual date of the event so that we can make sure you can get there.   We know what date it's gonna be, but if it came down to Russell NOT being able to speak, and us just choosing a different date that's a few weeks difference…   We will Change the Freakin' Date.   That's a SICK OFFER!   From his perspective, it’s like, “Oh man, he's gonna change his whole event!”   Well, yeah, we're talking seven months in the future, so, yeah, we'll definitely change the date if we need to.   That's a BIG offer right there.   I've been asked to speak in several locations in the past little bit including Australia and Greece... It's not that I don't want to, it's a date issue…   So if Russell has control over the time and date, and it came down to it and I'm like, “Dude, what day? Say it, just, and we'll do it.” He's like, “You know what, I could come to downtown Boise, so I don't need to travel anywhere.”   I'm making it EASY.   A limo will pick you up from CF headquarters and take you to the event.   And he can talk as long as he wants to. Does that make sense? Like, this just got sexy, man.   He doesn't need to worry about travel, it's close to him, it's right there, it's downtown Boise at a SICK venue. THE CTA   Reason to Act Now... (this is what he told me he would like to have)   A couples massage: he wants a massage from his favorite masseuse. We already set it up.   Sushi from his favorite sushi place.   I mean that's a sexy offer...  it's NOT just, “Dude, come speak at my event so that I can fill it with people who are interested to see you.”   Some more things I'm gonna add inside this offer are:     We’ll send you the professional recordings.       We’re gonna have professional photographers there to take pictures.       His own private room where he can go and just kick back, and there are snacks and drinks in there.     I know you're always looking for new material. You can have the recordings. You can have the pictures... very very high-end stuff so that you can look like a rockstar on my stage.   That’s what would motivate a Russell Brunson-esque figure.   So what I'm trying to help you guys understand is like, when you're doing offers, and especially when it comes to Dream 100…   Offer creation for Dream 100 is NOT the same thing as offer creation for customers. It’s NOT the same thing as offer creation for affiliates. It’s NOT the same thing for offer creation for front-end product. It's all different. You gotta understand exactly WHO you're speaking to. THIS DIDN’T HAPPEN…   The last thing I tried to do was find a local actor to play Claude Hopkins,  tell a fast origin story, and hand him a piece of paper with the offer and the call to action.   Claude Hopkins was one of the original offer creators.   You probably know about Claude Hopkins if you've been following me.   Claude Hopkin was the first guy to put an ad on a car.   He actually popularized the concept of brushing teeth so that they could sell toothpaste!   Seriously, brilliant, brilliant man; late 1800s.   Anyway, I wanted some dude to gonna dress up like Claude Hopkins and walk up and say:   “What's up? My name's Claude Hopkins, I was one of the first offer creators in America: Hey that Steve Larsen, you should really go talk to him about his event.”   ...and then hand off the offer, the gift certificate for the massage...  the sushi already on the table.   It's Pretty Sexy… but unfortunately, the Claude Hopkins bit didn’t happen.   PLAYING FULL OUT   I wanted to go full out because I knew that if Russell said, “Yes!” Then it would be a lot easier for us to get two or three other really high-end people to speak at OfferMind.   It was definitely worth crafting a campaign for.   I want to be able to bring in some of the best to OFFERMIND, and Russell obviously is THE BEST!   Remember I talked about how important it is to follow the framework master, and Russell is that guy! Why would I bring in anybody else?!   So that why I went to soooo much effort crafting this offer for Russell to keynote.   It's was an offer NOT a request.   It's WASN’T,  “Come look at me…”   I'm not gonna EVER do that. That's the fastest way for you to put a bad taste in their mouth when you're talking to a BIG influencer... even if we're friends.   In any influencer scenario, you got ONE SHOT to set up the way they're gonna look at you FOREVER. It really does matter!   So, when I talk to the other offer creation rock stars I want to bring to you, I will craft a custom campaign for each individual.   Campaigns are a dying art (It’s NOT the same thing as a Facebook ad). I will craft a campaign, NOT just an offer, NOT just a sales message, and reach out to each individual to try and get them to come to speak at OfferMind. BOOM!   If you're just starting out you're probably studying a lot. That's good. You're probably geeking out on all the strategies, right? That's also good.   But the hardest part is figuring out what the market wants to buy and how you should sell it to them, right?   That's what I struggled with for a while until I learned the formula.   So I created a special Mastermind called an OfferMind to get you on track with the right offer, and more importantly the right sales script to get it off the ground and sell it.   Wanna come?   These are small groups on purpose, so I can answer your direct questions in person for two straight days.   You can hold your spot by going to OfferMind.com. Again, that's OfferMind.com.

WHY I get so excited for Funnel Hacking Live... Hey, what's going on everyone? This is Steve Larsen and you're listening to Sales Funnel Radio. Oh yeah. I've spent the last four years learning from the most brilliant marketers today. And now I've left my nine-to-five to take the plunge and build my million dollar business. The real question is, "How will I do it without VC funding or debt? Completely from scratch?" This podcast is here to give you the answer. Join me and follow along as I learn, apply, and share marketing strategies to grow my online business using only today's best internet sales funnels. My name is Steve Larsen, and welcome to Sales Funnel Radio. What's up guys? I am so freaking excited for Funnel Hacking LIVE. It is coming up. Just to be clear, I've had a lot of people reach out and say, "Oh, Steve, now that you're leaving ClickFunnels, are you gonna keep podcasting and publishing and doing their podcast?" Please understand that this is my own show and it's not affiliated at all with ClickFunnels. I just happen to be a ridiculous fanboy of everyone over there, what they do. They're changing the world, and so that's why I talk about it so much. Also, besides the fact that I've worked there. It's just a lot of part of my history, and I have massive, ridiculous respect and love for Russell and what he does. And, frankly, when you've made the kind of money he has, he obviously very easily could kind of drift off into the night, and he doesn't choose to do that. He decides to continue to go out and change stuff. So, anyways, I'm excited for Funnel Hacking LIVE. If you are not going, please find a way to get there, okay? I'm not being paid to say that. I am trying to help you understand and get to the spot that changed my life. It changed my life for me when I got there, and it was amazing. It changed everything. To be around the right people, to be around the right information, to be around the most cutting-edge stuff ... Anyways, there's my pitch for you. Hey, I have for the last several episodes been teasing you guys with this idea that I've got something special for you who are coming, and I do. I'm sure we're gonna meet anyways, but I really want to meet you guys if you're listening to this, okay? And so, I've got something special for you. I went out and I grabbed these sweet little flash drives and these flash drives ... What I'm gonna put on them is pretty incredible. I have been going out ... And if you haven't been noticing, I've been building a bunch of funnels live lately. It's been a lot of fun. I've built, maybe, nine of them and each one of them is about five hours long. I build them from scratch and I record myself doing it, and I do it in front of a live audience. And I've been doing that for the last, I don't know, four months, five months, something like that. And it's been fun. I've really, really enjoyed going through and doing that. It's a ton of work, oh my gosh. But I teach for the first fourth, the first third, something like that, and then I build from the ground up and everyone asks questions while I go. So it's extremely in-depth. Every single thing I place on there is on purpose. Everything has a purpose, and it's all part of the strategy. Anyways, I hope if you've been able to watch those, it's been kind of awesome... Well, when ... It's probably, like, what, three years ago? I built this funnel. It was probably the fourth or fifth funnel I'd ever built. The first funnel I'd ever built was, I told you guys, it was a smartphone insurance funnel. It went well. It was kind of a break-even business. If I had known more at that time, I would've kept it going and sold something more expensive on the back end because we were getting customers. Break even, which is awesome. That was our first funnel, first attempt, which is pretty cool when you think about it. It's awesome. But, shortly after I started building all these funnels for all these other companies. I was ... A lot of you guys know, I am actually just barely leaving the Army right now. Paperwork in the government takes a long time to do what it's supposed to, I guess, and get the final signature. I don't know what it does. It must just sit somewhere and have a four or five month timer on it, and then someone walks up, signs the last thing, and hands it back. I don't know, but everything's out of my hands. I'm in the middle of leaving the Army right now. As soon as the last signature happens, I am completely out of the military. Anyways, so I enlisted first, and I went through basic training and I loved it. It was hard. It wasn't impossible, though. I was actually hoping it'd be a little bit harder, but there were some challenging moments. There was some challenging aspects to it. I didn't eat that much. I still actually slept pretty well for the most part. We didn't really eat, though, that much, which was ... I lost 15 pounds, and I went in weighing, like, 170. I was really skinny when I came out of basic. It was crazy. So that part was challenging, and there were some challenging aspects along the way. So I get out, and I was officially in the military at that time, and when I get in college and start building these funnels, build the smartphone insurance funnel, build all these other things. And what ends up happening is ... I was in a program called ROTC, and I became an officer when I graduated. However, we wanted to put on a fundraiser. We wanted to put on a mud run. So what we did, was we put together this track. It was a 5K mud run, you know what I mean? Like, there was mud everywhere, obstacle courses all over the place. We had cool fire pits you had to jump over. We had spots where ... We made it military style, you know what I mean? You ran with M16s through all the stuff while we had simulated explosions going on around them. It was really, really cool. And we put this awesome course together and they're like, "Hey, how are we gonna get people?" I was like, "I've got it. I've been learning about this thing called ClickFunnels. I know none of you know what it is. I'm gonna go build it, I'll be right back." And I spent probably 40 hours. I didn't totally know what I was doing at the time. I was just kind of figuring it out as I went, and I was talking to Support pretty much every single day. A couple times, actually. I became "that guy," you know what I mean, to Support, probably. Which is fine. I was learning. And I went through and I was building all this stuff and I put together this event funnel. And it was the first time I ever did anything like that. Well, from that event funnel, I went out and we started promoting it, and we got it on the news. We got it in newspapers. We got it on our school ... And we went, basically, the equivalent of what a Dream 100 would be. We ended up getting 650 people to my first time ever building a live event funnel. 650 people to a live event. We ended up raising ... We collected $7,000. We raffled off an AR-15. If you don't know what that is, it's like an M16, but the civilian version. And we went out and we raised all this money and donated it to the Fisher House Foundation. Which, the Fisher House Foundation is the ... It's pretty awesome. When a soldier gets wounded and they get flown to a hospital, the Fisher House Foundation funds the expenses for the family to fly out to whatever hospital the soldier is being taken care of in. So they can actually go see their loved ones while they're in the hospital getting better. So we were able to make a good donation there, which is awesome. It was a really, really cool experience. So, it's very fascinating, though, because very shortly after that funnel ... No joke, meaning, the event happened ... A lot of people don't know this. The event happened and the next week I was at my first Funnel Hacking LIVE event. When I bootstrapped my way to that event. That was all literally a week after we ran that mud run, which was the funnel that I built to get people to it. I was like, "This is working. Holy crap!" And I was building it for other people. And I was like, "What if I did this for this event and it worked?" And we ended up straight cash, and I bootstrapped my way building more funnels for other businesses to get to that Funnel Hacking LIVE event. Well, lo and behold when I got hired, time came for Funnel Hacking LIVE again, 2017. And I had the complete, ridiculous, insane honor of helping build, obviously, like every other funnel that I was there for ... Helping build the funnel for Funnel Hacking LIVE 2017. Guess what? Same process, okay? I literally funnel hacked, basically, Russell's 2015 event funnel for my mud run funnel, and then I went through, and I was at the 2016 one. And when the 2017 event came along, I was like, "Sweet. We're gonna build this funnel." And guess what? Obviously, the page looked different. Obviously there was better sales copy than I ever wrote, that first time I ever built that mud run event funnel, that 5K ... We called it the 5K Warrior Mud Run. Obviously, it was to a higher quality, but it was the same funnel. And I went through, and I was like, "This is so sweet. Holy crap!" And I went through and I got the extreme, ridiculous honor of building this thing and putting it altogether for the 2017 Funnel Hacking LIVE. Well, I am extremely ecstatic. In just a few weeks here, like, one week to be exact. I get the honor of going again to Funnel Hacking LIVE and meeting those of you guys who are also coming, and guess what I want to give you? I went through, and I've been building these funnels live. Let me go full circle with this, okay? You're like, "Man, Steve, you're going all over the place." Just follow me for a second, okay? I've been building ... When I left working there, which crushed my insides. I just felt like it's something I had to do. It crushed my insides when I left that job. I was like, "I've gotta go put in stone a lot of these very specific lessons and tactics and tricks that are very funnel-specific. I've gotta go put those down in stone." So that's why I've been building live a lot of funnels. There's been a group of about 40-50 people that have been joining me for the majority of these funnel builds for the last five months, and I have the recordings of all of them. I have the share funnels. I have the email sequences. I have how it works in each industry. I have other ridiculous stuff that I put inside of it... And my plan is to sell those ... A lot of people have asked me, "What are you doing with these, Steven?" Well, number one, I've been putting them in my product for my webinar. A lot of you guys have been going out and buying that product just so you can get the funnels, which is awesome. There's like, eight, of those recordings in there. Almost literally every single one of them's in that product... But a lot of you guys, though ... Like, the ones that ... There are others that I've been obviously not including that did not apply to the product that I've been selling. So, anyways, my plan is to be able to give you some of those funnels, as well as the five hour recording of me, first of all training you on that funnel. When to use it, when not to use it, the order in which to use it, the best scenarios to use it in. And then me actually building it. But then also, the share funnel itself. The email sequences with it. The pdf map that shows you how the whole thing works from a top level view, 50,000-foot view. And I want to give the event funnel to you. Now, obviously it's not the Funnel Hacking LIVE event funnel; however, it is the same funnel. Does that make sense? I went through and I built it ... I don't know when that was. It was recent, and that was one of my favorite ones ever. I want to give it to you guys for free. It's my future plan, though, to sell them individually anywhere for $400-$500 a piece because they're freaking awesome and they're worth more than that. I don't start building funnels for somebody until the $50,000-$100,000 range with royalties in the back. They're definitely worth $500, okay? Anyways, I want to make them $1,000 each, but I wanted to make them more available. So, it's the training, it's the funnel, it's the email sequences/other sequences that come along with it. It's the pdf map, and it's when I went and did a full training on the event funnel itself. It's like five hours. It's a live Q and A in front of a huge group, which is awesome. Anyways, so I wanted to give that to you. I'm gonna put that on the flash drives, and I've got like 60-70 flash drives, and it says Steve Larsen on them. And I want to be able to give them to you, though, at the event. Here's what I'm asking for in return. Yes, I am a marketer, so what I'm gonna ask is that when you come up to me, you say a little magic phrase so that I know that you are one of the people who are listening to this show. And here's what I ask from you. That we take a picture together, and you post it on your Facebook profile. That's it. Say, "Hey, I'm with this good looking champ right here," of whatever. Does that sound good? That's all I'm asking for in return. This is me pitching. Sounds good? I told a story to break and rebuild your belief about the importance of an event funnel and what it can do. And then what I do, is now this is me putting the offer out. Sound good? And what I'm doing, is this is call to action. You're gonna walk up to me, and this is what you're gonna say. First of all I'm gonna say it. Actually, you know what? I'm not gonna say it. I need to tell a story to help explain it. So what I'm gonna do, is ... When I was in the Army in basic training, I went in the middle of winter. And winter was rough, guys. Winter was rough. It was a stupid decision to go to basic training in the winter because the drill sergeants totally took advantage of it. There were ice storms all the time, and just out of a mental toughening factor, they'd leave us out in the ice storms in shorts and a t-shirt for hours. And you'd just be sitting there at the position of attention, which means you can't move. The only thing you can do is move your eyes, but even then you're just supposed to look straight forward. So you're staying completely still, just freezing your butt off, and there's these ice storms going off. And you're just, "Ah!" And one day, we were practicing taking over areas. Like, "How do we enter in an area and take over that position?" There's 200 of us. Can you imagine handing over a bunch of 17 and 18 year olds M16s? There's gonna be some coordination. There's gonna be a plan. So we were practicing taking over, and I was significantly older than most of the rest of the people there. I was in college. That made me very different. I was married. That made me very different. I had a kid. That made me very different. I was a very different scenario. I was running side businesses. That made me very different. I was a very different kid than the person that was already there. But anyways, we were practicing taking over these areas, and we get to this field, and the field is flooded. It had been raining/ice falling. Not snowing, it was either ice or rain. It was sleeting for the last several days. And I went and they were like, "Hey, we're gonna practice taking over these areas." And we were kind of walking through the scenario, so it wasn't run at full speed. We're all doing it half-speed. And they're like, "Okay, Larsen. You're gonna run out here, and you and this guy, you're gonna dive on the ground and you're gonna interlock your feet. And you wiggle your foot, and that's how you would talk back and forth to each other. So you don't have to actually speak with your mouth. Your feet are interlocked. Just one of the foots of the guy next to you. Does that make sense? So I went out and I go out there and they're like, "Okay, get down right here." And where they pointed was this, probably, like, six inches of water. It was a lot of water. It was a full out puddle, and the drill sergeant knew that, and they were smiling at me. And they wanted to make it crappy, and I was like, "Okay." And if you've ever seen the movie Unbroken, this is nothing like that intensity, but please understand that's what I was trying to do. I was trying to say, "Alright. Bring it. I can take it." So I laid down, and what happens when you get in cold ... It's 33 degrees outside. It was not quite cold enough yet to freeze, but it was so cold that ... It was almost ice. Guys, I'm laying in six inches of water, 33 degrees. Freezing. Massive wind coming in. Nonstop wind. And I'm laying in water. It's now almost completely covering my entire body, and I'm laying in it completely still in the prone holding my weapon with our feet interlocked. And my first thought was, "Oh my gosh." What happens when you get in water that's that cold ... If anyone's ever taken an ice bath before or if you've ever had the luxury of Russell throwing you in the middle of his Cryosauna, your body starts to shake. And what's happening is, when you start shaking, the capillaries are cinching up and the blood is sucking out of your capillaries and rushing to your organs. And that shaking feeling is kind of your body trying to get warm, but also after a while your body just kind of sucks the blood out of it. That's why your fingers start to turn a little bit blue, it's because the blood's taking out of your extremities towards your organs to keep them warm. And when you stop shaking, you know that you are starting to head towards a dangerous area... So, I was shaking. I was like, "Oh my gosh," and I just started yelling. I was like, "Whoa, yeah." I'm gonna react to this well. I'm gonna react to the scenario well. I cannot control what is happening to me. I can control my reaction to it. So I'm going to change the way I view this. And I'm going to start yelling, and I'm going to get excited. And I'm gonna be bigger than this situation because we did not go back for a long time. I stayed wet for a long time. My feet were gray, I don't think they're supposed to be that color, when I finally took my boots off. But I was like, "I'm gonna react well. I am going to choose how this happens. I'm gonna choose the outcome of this scenario." And it was the first time ... It's not the first time, but that was a very vivid time that I was like, "You know what? This is an important opportunity for me to learn something if I choose to." So this is what I did. I stood up when the drill sergeants weren't looking. I stood up and I started running. I started running and I started jumping in the puddles of water next to all the other soldiers. And I started playing with them. Does that make sense? I started making it this thing ... We were in a slow speed, kind of, environment. This was not like ... We weren't running this at full space. We weren't being ... Anyway, we're all holding real weapons, but we were jumping around. We were being safe, but we were jumping around, we're splashing water. And I was like, "Woo! Yeah!" Jumping around. And people were like, "Larsen! Shut up! Shut up! I hate you!" And they're swearing on my unborn, future children at the time. They're like yelling at you. They're like, "Oh, I'm gonna kill you. You're dead tonight. You're dead. We're putting soaps in our socks and hitting you." They're threatening me with all this stuff, and I'm jumping around, and I was just doing what I could to react appropriately to the crappy scenario I had no control over. And I started saying this phrase, and it sounds stupid, but it's what I want you to say to get the flash drive. Okay? Don't mess it up. There is a vernacular to it. It sounds very simple, okay? I started going ... And what I would do is I would start saying in my mind, "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" and I would start yelling that. I would start yelling it. "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" Don't jack it up. This is how you do it. This is how it's spelled. It's h ... This is all in caps. If you're writing it, it's all in caps. Massive 72-point font. Bold. It's H!H! OO BAYBAY. It's baybay. Not baby. You're not, "Oh baby." No. None of that weak crap. You're gonna reach down. You're gonna grab your boot strings, and you're gonna go "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" And you're gonna scream it. And when I see you, that's the phrase. Because you're probably gonna be tired at Funnel Hacking LIVE. You are probably ... There's probably so many things gonna be lodging into your brain that you've never considered. New connections, new ideas, new things to take your business to the next level, that often a lot of times what will happen is if you are not in the correct state of mind, you will miss it. And I don't want you to. This is all about self-state control, and you've gotta get good at it. I believe in it, and it's the reason Russell and I were able to build funnels at the speed we were. We didn't always feel like it. We're tired most of the time. But by choosing my state ... Yes, even on the internet when I'm sitting in my office by myself and there's no other person around me to cultivate that energy, I choose the outcome. I choose the scenario. I'm sorry, I don't choose the scenario. I choose the way I react to it. Which, that is what determines the outcome, funny enough. Not the scenario. How many people have you ever heard of who were super poor, terrible with life scenarios, and then they turn it all around? Why? Life didn't dish them up this amazing card deck. It's the way they reacted to it that determines the outcome. I use that phrase in so many ... Guys, when we were ... Later on, just to keep the military thing going on ... Honestly, I use it in so many areas. I still do today. We were doing gas chamber ... I don't know if I've told this story before, but we were doing gas chamber training, and I put my gas mask on. I put my gas mask on, and it's CS gas. If you don't know what CS gas is, it's not fun. It gets inside of your ... As soon as you breathe it or it starts to seep into your skin, it literally makes all of your glands and your pores start to ... The equivalent of defecate, okay? You have no control over your nose and you start to get these disgusting runny noses. Your eyes start to get all red and watery. It's pretty nasty stuff. And it's basically riot control gas. But, they really increased the dosage for my group. Because they want to teach you how to use gas masks. So we're all lining up there, and people start kind of freaking out and kind of hyperventilating. We're all standing outside of this gas chamber, and we all got these gas masks, and they all start practicing. "Gas! Gas! Gas!" And we all put our gas masks on. We have to do it within seven seconds, seal it, clear the mask of any gas that actually might have gotten in while we were putting the mask on. So, you blow air in and then you grab another valve, seal that one off, and then suck in really hard, and it seals it to your face. It's not comfortable. And they're like, "Okay, we're gonna go in," and we start going into this gas chamber, and it was a little bit freaky, I'm not gonna lie. You get in there, and it's thick, green smoke all over the place. You're like, "Crap, I really don't want to breathe this garbage. Oh my gosh, I hope I sealed my mask correctly. H!H! OO BAYBAY!" Does that make sense? All these fears, "Scared! H!H! OO BAYBAY! Let's just do it, baby, and you just jump out the plane, build the parachute while you fall." That's why I say that phrase. Does that make sense? It's crazy, though. Some girls in there started freaking out, and they had to physically grab this girl and shove her against the wall and tell her to settle down. It was a little bit ... Anyway, and then you take the mask off and you start doing exercises in there, and it was not fun. People were throwing up. That was a terrible experience. That was not fun. But that's what I'm saying, though. You don't always have control. In fact, you almost never have control over the scenarios in your life. And when you're given a little bit of rope to have control, you take that rope and you run 15 miles with it and you go as far as you can with it. Most of the time, it's about reacting appropriately to the actions that are handed to you. That's, like, 90% of why I do what I do, guys. That's, like, 90% of the reason I've been able to do what I do. It is a mentality. I hate the phrase, "Oh, it's all about ... I do mindset coaching." Like, okay, what does that mean? I don't understand that. To me, though, that is what that means. State control. That means something more important to me than mindset training. That's what I do, though. It's about how I react to the scenarios given to me. Very rarely do I ever have a great deck that is just given to me. I believe in luck, I just don't believe in chance. Does that make sense? Luck. Have you ever heard the quote, "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity?" I think that's how the phrase goes. I can't remember. "Luck is where preparations meets opportunity," or something like that. I believe in luck, I just don't believe in chance. I believe that if I work my absolute guts out, I will be ready for the opportunity that just kind of comes my way. And it will be handed to me because I've been running. I'm already in motion. Opportunity goes to those who are already in motion. It is so frustrating to try and coach individuals who are not in motion yet, and their main hurdle is for me to help them get in motion. Oh my gosh, that is a rough scenario. Oh, just be in motion. I don't even care if you're running the wrong direction. Just be moving, and you will find guidance as you move. It is so much easier to steer a moving canoe... Have you ever sat in a canoe before? I was in scouts. I got my Eagle Scout award. I went and did all this other stuff. It's a lot of fun, right? But paddling ... I've been in many canoes before where you're paddling, and if you're trying to just coast along with the river, it could be a little challenging, if you're moving at the speed of a very still river, to actually steer. It's way easier to steer when you're going somewhere. You control the speed, rather than try and drift. Drifting with the paddle is, like, worse than not having a paddle at all. You don't have a paddle. You've got ClickFunnels. You've got the best marketing out there. You've got the best of the best of the best. The only thing that's up to you is to start rowing. I don't care if you're going the wrong direction. So, the phrase is, "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" And you've got to say it like that, or I'm not handing you a flash drive. I'm excited for you to get there. I'm excited for you guys to feel the change if you want it to be there. You guys, understand that I had so much belief that if I just got in the room ... If I just got in the room, my life would change. That was my belief. It was that strong. That first event I ever got to when I did not have the discretionary income to actually pay for something like an event and I bootstrapped my way there. And because of that, it did change. And when I got hired at ClickFunnels, 20 minutes after my interview, they give a call, and they said, "Hey, you're hired. We want you to sit next to Russell," and I was like, "What?" I was trying to go for a sSupport position. I just wanted to be near where the action was. I was like, "Are you serious? Of course. You're gonna pay me to do that?" And I called my wife, and ... Years of struggling ... I was in motion. I was in motion, and that's why I feel like it came my way. I did not have all the answers, but I had enough to see the three steps in front of me. I knew where the peak was. I could not see anything in-between. And I called my wife, and I said, "Babe ..." I was trying not to cry, but I was also losing my voice because I was just yelling I was so excited. I was like, "Babe, our life just changed." I was driving the five hours back to where my family was. Less than a week later, we were living in Boise, Idaho. What I'm trying to say is ... I said, "Babe, the course of our life just changed. The outcome of where we were going to go, it's different now." If you choose it to be ... It's the reason I get so freaking pumped about Funnel Hacking LIVE. If you choose it to be, Funnel Hacking LIVE is that for you. It was for me. It is not a trite thing. It's not just another event. I will tell you from working there from my own experience that every individual who works at ClickFunnels is there to change the world. It's an active conversation. Unfortunately, that's an awkward conversation for most other places in the world. It is an active ... "How can we change the world?" Like, "What? Who talks like that?" Those in the ... Just like Steve Jobs said, "Those who are actually gonna try and change the world are the ones that actually do." And they are. It's the reason I get so pumped about it. They changed my world. They're changing everyone else's world. They're changing industries. That's why I get so pumped about it. People are like, "Man, you're a freak show about Funnel Hacking LIVE." Yeah I am. I get more pumped about it than Christmas, every other holiday. It literally is ... And it's because of what it can do for you. To be in a room with that many other millionaires, to be in a room with that amount of mental ... Top of the line stuff, you guys. And software. How often do you get the marketing education and technology blend in the same sitting? That's so freakishly rare it's ridiculous. You get both at Funnel Hacking LIVE. The top of the top, the best of the best. The who's who are all there. And if you're like, "Steve, I still don't have my ticket." Well, you've got, like, a week. Find a way and get there, and know that it has the power to change your life and put the course of your life on a different outcome based on how you react. So you come up to me. I've got ... There's two things on them. Number one, I'm gonna give you guys the event funnel. Some sweet training on there. I'm gonna give you guys ... There's a whole bunch of other stuff that I'm not gonna advertise, okay, that's really, really cool. I've got some extra little Easter eggs in there for you. But you walk up to me, and you give me the most interactive, "H!H! OO BAYBAY!," I will give one right back, so long as my voice is not completely gone, and let's take a picture. You post that up there. I will give you a flash drive. On your Facebook profile, and I will hand it off to you. Sound good? Alright guys, that is the prepare for Funnel Hacking LIVE plan. I would start going through. I would re-listen to any ... If you've got a Funnel Hacking LIVE ticket ... I know because I built the Members' Area, okay? When you got a Funnel Hacking LIVE ticket, you also got access to the 2015, 2016, and 2017 replays. I have been ... I'm almost done listening to all the replays again. Yes, I do listen to them all the time. I just reread 108 Split Tests. I am re-listening to tons of stuff. That's how I'm preparing, guys. Prepare. Put yourself in a state-control. Choose. Decide the outcome. Decide the outcome before you actually start the event. How crazy of an idea is that? That's what you can do with this. So, go out and start preparing. Re-listen to the past episodes. They came with your ticket this year, which is awesome. Go and actually start re-reading Expert Secrets. Re-read [inaudible 00:30:00] Secrets. Re-read 108 Split Tests. Go through the Funnel Hacker Cookbook. Go through those things, and start consuming that stuff. Get yourself in a state to receive. Most of you guys are coming to my Mastermind the day before. I'm very excited to have you guys. It's gonna be great. It's a small group. I'm excited it is. So, very, very excited to have you, though, and I am excited to meet you. Excited to meet you guys over there. Give a high five, brotherly hug, whatever. Give me a little state-controlled shout out. A little, "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" And we'll take a picture. You post it up there, and my thank you is a flash drive with the event funnel. The event funnel, as well as a whole bunch of other goodies that I'm just gonna toss on there for fun. I've only got, like 60 or 70 of them, so ... Anyways, thanks guys. I appreciate it. I know this was kind of a different styled episode, but you need to know why I get so pumped about it. Someone was laughing at me. They were like, "You get that excited about it?" I'm like, "Okay, let me tell you why. It's because I chose it to be and it's because I knew ... I believed that Russell knew how to get me to the next spot." Half of you guys are still trying to decide if this stuff works. Get past that freakishly stupid doubt, and go and just believe it. Take a chance. They're not paying me for this. They don't even know I'm doing it. I just know it works. Before I knew it worked, I had to believe that it worked. There's nothing that's gonna happen. I'm not gonna actually act unless there's just this little inkling that it could possibly actually work. You've gotta get there. Drop the other doubts. Choose the outcome before the event starts by your state-controlling self. Prepare like crazy. I've got some cool goodies for you. Come give a little state-controlled shout out, "H!H! OO BAYBAY!" And come on out and say hi. Let's take a picture, and I'll give you guys some sweet stuff as a thank you. And hopefully you guys can get out there and start crushing, as well. Alright guys, thanks so much. And I hope you guys enjoyed this episode. I certainly did. We'll talk to you later. Thanks for listening. Please remember to write and subscribe... Hey, you want me to speak at your next event or Mastermind? Let me know what I can share that would be most valuable by going to stevejlarsen.com and book my time now.

What's Your Morning Routine?

A play-by-play of what I got done this morning before most people were even awake. On today's episode Russell talks about his morning routine and what has been working for him. He also talks about his plans to film his morning routine so that it can help inspire others to do the same thing. Here are some of the interesting things you will hear in this episode: How a morning routine actually begins the night before. How Russell is able to go from 4:30 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon before he eats, and how he isn't even hungry. And what having “a big domino of the day” means and why it's important. So listen below to hear about Russell's morning routine and feel inspired to do something similar with your own morning. ---Transcript--- Good Morning everybody, I hope you guys are having an amazing day today. Welcome back to Marketing IN Your Car. I appreciate you guys hanging out with me. I'm heading into the office right now and I've had an amazing morning. It's 8:49, I have a meeting in 11 minutes with the entire Clickfunnels Dev team, which is exciting. We're making a big directional change today, which is always scary, fear and scary. But it's going to be the best for the customers, which is all that really matters when all is said and done. It's going to be good for you guys, so congratulations. I've got 10 miles left until I'm out of gas. I'm hope I make it to the office before then, because I need to make it. And I've had an amazing morning so far. I want to talk about it because we've talked about this in the past, but I think that the more I focus on it, the more everything else becomes more amazing. And it's your morning routine. In fact, I bought a domain; I think I bought, whatsyourmorningroutine.com. I think this week we're going to record my morning routine because people always ask me what is it and how does it work? There's some weird things I do and some cool things I do. I just wanted to show a little bit of all that put together. That is the game plan, so it'll be kind of fun. I want to walk you guys through basically what the morning routine looks like, because it's getting more and more exciting and fun and hopefully you guys get some ideas for yours. So the first thing I found out is your morning routine starts the night before. It's the hardest thing to get to bed on time. So I've been trying to get to bed by 10 o'clock each night. Kids go down about 9, and then I've got an hour to just scramble and get everything done and go to bed, which is hard because I'm a night owl. I'm the guy that usually goes to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning. So that's been a big shift. And then days that I get to bed on time, everything works good. The day's I don't become really, really hard. So I'm trying better. And on thing that's been helping a lot, Joseph Clough who is one of our Clickfunnels inner circle members, he built a custom hypnosis track for me. He's got an am one a pm one and a boost one for whenever in the day you need to take over the world, you listen to this other one. So it's been cool, every single night I go to bed, I listen to that. It's kind of getting me excited to go to bed each night because there's this really cool thing I've been looking forward to and I get excited for it. So last night I listened to that. In the future I'm going to try  to….I have a float tank, so I'm going to try to listen to it while I float at night. It'll be like float while I listen to that and then go to bed. This light's been red forever. The day's you're in a rush, the light takes forever to change. Anyway, sorry my ADD kicked in again. So that's how it began, and then fell asleep. And under my bed I have these pulse….I think it's called Earth Pulse. These electromagnetic fields that go under my bed. And it's kind of geeky and amazing at the same time to make you sleep better, recover faster and a bunch of other awesome stuff. So that's the night before. Then I wake up in the morning. I've been setting my alarm for 4:45, I think I'm going to start setting it for 4:30 though, because my pre-morning stuff seems to take longer than I hope. I keep thinking I'm going to get done in 15 minutes, but it takes 20 to 25 minutes. Anyway, today was 4:45, tomorrow it'll be 4:30. So 4:30 my alarm goes off, I wake up, there are 3 major goals. One is thanks to Alex Charfen, hyper hydration. So I get a big Clickfunnels bottle full of water, I try to pound it as fast as I can, no matter how much it hurts and it usually hurts. I don't know how people do that, especially first thing in the morning. It's hard, drink as fast as I can. Number two I mix together like 30 different powders. A lot of them are like mushrooms and B Manna, and Green Drink and Red Drink and a whole bunch of powders, so I drink that. So hyper nutrition's number two. I want to get as many nutrients in my body as possible because I'm not going to be eating until 2 in the afternoon, so I want my body to have as many goods as it needs to run off of. Number 3 is hyper oxygenation, which Anthony, my buddy at Biohackersguide.com, and Wim Hof. Wim Hof kind of developed this method, and Anthony recorded this really cool audio for me where I can just push play on my phone and then I can actually listen to Anthony coach me through the Wim Hof. So I sit in my backyard in the fresh air and I do it. It's hard, it's what I dread the most in the day because it takes work to breathe hard, to hold your breath and all that kind of stuff, it's not my favorite when it happens but when I'm done, it's the equivalent of having like 10 shots of caffeine. You're just wide awake and you feel good. So that's kind of what happens in the first….trying to get that all done by 5 o'clock. So 5 o'clock I hit the road running. I'm trying to spend 30 minutes of spiritual time. So some of you guys may or may not know, I talked about this probably a dozen episodes ago, I wanted to buy a first edition Book of Mormon on ebay, but I didn't. But I almost did. I eventually did it. So right now I am actually reading the original copy of the Book of Mormon, one of the first 5,000 that were ever printed. Which for me, is totally geeking out. Most of you guys who are Mormon are thinking, that's awesome. The rest of you are thinking, that's weird, why would you spend that much money on an old book? But for me, it's awesome. So I've been reading that in the mornings, which has been cool. Try to get at least 30 minutes of reading in there. And the last 30 minutes is, I try to nickname all my different times, so I'm nicknaming this my  big domino time. Where I have the next 30 minutes to figure out what is the big domino of the day. The big domino comes from Tim Farris, I heard him speak one time, “A lot of people go and make these huge to-do list and try to knock out a million things. I usually just sit around for 3 or 4 days at a time trying to identify what's the one big domino and if I knock down that domino it makes every other domino, it knocks them down or makes them irrelevant. So that's been my bid domino time. Where I'm planning and figuring out, for me to succeed today, what is that one big domino I gotta knock down? This funnel or this piece, whatever that big thing is and make that the priority and try to task out everything else to either help me knock down that domino or to get everything else off my place so I can focus on it. So that's what's going to be happening. That's kind of a new edition to the morning routine. From 5:30 til 6. Then at 6 o'clock, at least on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Dave and Stephen and sometimes Brent and John show up and we go for a morning jog to try and get more oxygen pumping through our body and then we lift hard. We lift for about an hour, probably about 45 minutes. Really heavy because that's the way I like it. And then from there we jump in the Cryosauna, freeze the crap out of ourselves. And then go in and hang out with my kids, get them out the door.  And then clean up and head out the door as well. At this point I still have not eaten anything, and I won't. It's 9 o'clock. So I'll eat in about 5 hours from now and that's the first time I will eat. And it's funny because I used to always think, I have to eat to have fuel to have energy. But the interesting thing is if you are doing all these things, you get energy from oxygen, you get energy from the nutrients, you get energy from the water, you get energy from all these things. I don't even feel hungry anymore. It's kind of weird. I should be starving right now, and I'm feeling pretty good. And my lunch time at about 2 o'clock, I'll have the biggest salad known to man. It literally takes about 3 or 4 hours to eat. It's got kale, and peppers, avocados, salmon, and a bunch of other cool stuff. And that's….I eat that, and then I'm not that hungry the rest of the day. Usually at night I'll eat some stuff because I like to socially eat with my kids and my family. And then start the process over. So that's my morning routine. So I think we're going to record it and film it and show all the fun stuff and intricacies and hopefully inspire a couple of you to tweak yours. It's been a fun development over the last 2 years trying to really think through it and figure it out and add things to it. I'm still not perfect, not going to lie. But the days that I execute on it correctly, like today, I feel like a million bucks. I'm excited to go in and conquer the world. So I hope that inspires you guys to kind of sit back and think through your stuff and figure out what your dream morning routine is going to be. Because when your day starts right, it ends right. When you start wrong, it ends wrong. I know that because the days when I wake up and go and get French toast for breakfast, the whole day is done. I get nothing done that day. The day's I wake up and Wim Hof breathe, drink a ton of vitamins and minerals and get some spiritual time in, and figure out my big domino are the days that I actually knock down the big domino. And the days that I get home and have energy for my kids and my wife and it's awesome. So there you go, you guys. So what's your morning routine, that's my question. Check out soon to a funnel near you. I think it's whatsyourmorningroutine.com. I'll be posting that here in a little bit. And it'll be fun to actually show you guys behind the scenes what I'm doing and then hopefully get some of you guys inspired enough to go and do it on your own. That's all I got today. Appreciate you all, have an amazing day and I'll talk to you all again soon. Bye everybody.

A play-by-play of what I got done this morning before most people were even awake. On today’s episode Russell talks about his morning routine and what has been working for him. He also talks about his plans to film his morning routine so that it can help inspire others to do the same thing. Here are some of the interesting things you will hear in this episode: How a morning routine actually begins the night before. How Russell is able to go from 4:30 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon before he eats, and how he isn’t even hungry. And what having “a big domino of the day” means and why it’s important. So listen below to hear about Russell’s morning routine and feel inspired to do something similar with your own morning. ---Transcript--- Good Morning everybody, I hope you guys are having an amazing day today. Welcome back to Marketing IN Your Car. I appreciate you guys hanging out with me. I’m heading into the office right now and I’ve had an amazing morning. It’s 8:49, I have a meeting in 11 minutes with the entire Clickfunnels Dev team, which is exciting. We’re making a big directional change today, which is always scary, fear and scary. But it’s going to be the best for the customers, which is all that really matters when all is said and done. It’s going to be good for you guys, so congratulations. I’ve got 10 miles left until I’m out of gas. I’m hope I make it to the office before then, because I need to make it. And I’ve had an amazing morning so far. I want to talk about it because we’ve talked about this in the past, but I think that the more I focus on it, the more everything else becomes more amazing. And it’s your morning routine. In fact, I bought a domain; I think I bought, whatsyourmorningroutine.com. I think this week we’re going to record my morning routine because people always ask me what is it and how does it work? There’s some weird things I do and some cool things I do. I just wanted to show a little bit of all that put together. That is the game plan, so it’ll be kind of fun. I want to walk you guys through basically what the morning routine looks like, because it’s getting more and more exciting and fun and hopefully you guys get some ideas for yours. So the first thing I found out is your morning routine starts the night before. It’s the hardest thing to get to bed on time. So I’ve been trying to get to bed by 10 o’clock each night. Kids go down about 9, and then I’ve got an hour to just scramble and get everything done and go to bed, which is hard because I’m a night owl. I’m the guy that usually goes to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning. So that’s been a big shift. And then days that I get to bed on time, everything works good. The day’s I don’t become really, really hard. So I’m trying better. And on thing that’s been helping a lot, Joseph Clough who is one of our Clickfunnels inner circle members, he built a custom hypnosis track for me. He’s got an am one a pm one and a boost one for whenever in the day you need to take over the world, you listen to this other one. So it’s been cool, every single night I go to bed, I listen to that. Step one in our planning for the new FunnelHacker.tv. On today's episode Russell talks about an idea he has for a new show about Russell and his team doing funnels for businesses. He explains what kinds of things you'd see on the show. Here are 3 cool things on this episode: What the name of this new TV show would be. What companies Russell already has in mind to be on the show. And what kind of behind the scenes stuff you would be able to see on the show. So listen below to hear all about Funnel Hacker TV. ---Transcript--- Hey, hey, hey, I hope you guys are doing amazing, welcome to Marketing In Your Car. Alright, so I did one this morning, a podcast, which was 3 minutes long because I was preparing for our meeting, and I was talking really fast, but hopefully some of you guys got some cool value out of that. But I have something I wanna talk to you guys about, but I've been all bottled up because I've had 9o'clock meetings, when usually I'm in the car right before 9. Anyway, I've just had less time to talk and hang out. So I'm going right now to the store to grab some stuff for my wife, so this gives me a cool opportunity to share some cool stuff for you guys. Hope you don't mind. So I am crazy excited right now about something that we're doing that I think is going to be amazing. I don't know. I'm kind of nervous to tell you guys, not even everyone on my team, not even my partners know this yet. Todd will probably find out about this from this podcast. And maybe Dylan, I don't know if he listens or not. Kind of what we're thinking. How has marketing been done up to this point? It's all about creating cool funnels, driving traffic and that conceptual thing. Or doing Periscopes or hang outs, or cool things. All I'm trying to figure out….I'm trying to be the next level, the bleeding edge, the next cool thing. I was trying to really figure out how do we….I feel like we built a really cool brand and a community and all this kind of stuff. How do we expand that? How do we take that to the next level and make it bigger and better? So that was the question. Last week my wife and I were out visiting our nanny, who just had a baby so we went and saw her and saw the baby and everything. So we were driving around and talking before we went to Jack in the Box. Was it Jack in the Box? Anyway, some horrible fast food restaurant, that tastes way too good, and definitely not on any of the diets on earth, but nevertheless we went there with the kids. And as we're driving we're talking about HGTV's Flip That House, and we're talking about just some things like that and as we're driving all the sudden this inspiration I feel it just hit me from above thinking…saying, the cool thing about those shows is that they pick a house, rehab a house, you watch the whole process and in that process they're telling the back story and all these things. They have this sub-story of things happening. Each week there's a house that they're finding, they're rehabbing it, flipping it or whatever and making it awesome. That was our favorite one, with Chip and Joanne Gains, but all the house shows are similar. I was thinking about it, we're working on a lot of side projects. Things I'm kind of doing on the side. Funnels I'm building for companies that we've traded equity for, stuff like that. And I was like, wouldn't it be cool if we made our own reality tv show and showed behind the scenes, so people could actually see  what happens? And I started thinking of different funnels I'm working on and one of them is Bio-hacking Secrets with my friend Anthony Diclementi. We've already recorded so much cool footage of him with his Cryosauna with laser lights, and all these crazy….the visuals are already amazing, because we've been filming the whole process and we're about to launch it. I'm like, you're building all this stuff behind the scenes and no one gets to see it and it doesn't really help the Clickfunnels community other than some of them hear about it later. But I'm like, what if that became a thing and each week we pick a funnel that we're building anyway and we build it out live and everyone gets to see the story? And it's not just like a boring thing us in the office like, “Blah blah blah.” Make it fun and exciting and have story lines and a whole bunch of things like that. So that's kind of the idea. So we've mapped out the first 12 episodes, 12 funnels and some of them are projects like Bio-hacking secrets, the prove it funnels we're working on, a couple things like that and some of them….For example, tomorrow I'm actually being interviewed, or he's interviewing me or something I guess, I don't even know. Robert Kiyosaki are getting on appear.in meeting and we're recording it, gonna pre-record this intro for the webinar. Because me and him are doing a big webinar next month. And he can't show up on them live because he's going to be out of the country, so we're filming the intro together and then we'll show the intro and I'll do the webinar live to his whole list. And his list is crazy huge, so we could in theory, I don't know do half a million or million dollar webinar, and wouldn't that be a cool episode to film that whole thing? Film me tomorrow as I'm driving to the office, freaking out excited and there film behind the scenes of me interviewing Kiyosaki and us being on this thing together. And film the webinar actually happening and showing all the nervousness before and showing people registering and showing up and stats and numbers, and doing the webinar and showing the pitch, the close, the percentages. Just showing the whole thing. Wouldn't that be awesome? Or with Bio-hacking Secrets, we're about to launch. It's a free book funnel, plus a tele-seminar funnel, plus a webinar high ticket funnel. All of that Is 90% done. So we're going to fly Anthony out and film the story of us launching this thing, and how we buy the ads and how we get the right things and testing the campaign and seeing what's converting and what's not converting. Doing all the stuff we do anyway, but showing you guys behind the scenes of it, in a really cool, fun exciting thing. Wouldn't that be fun? So that's kind of the first half. Again, I'm trying to think, how do we make this fun and engaging and exciting. Recently one of our fellow funnel hackers started working for me, and he's in the office, sits right behind my desk. His name is Steven Larsen, some of you guys may know him, so he's been actually…I've been focusing a little more on strategy since he's been here and he's been focusing on building out and we've been kind of going back and forth until something looks really good. So I thought on the show, instead of me talking about it and building it and being really annoying person who thinks he's really important, instead wouldn't it be cool if its like, I'm coaching, which I'm doing anyway, but I'm coaching Steven through building these funnels and doing the whole process. And he gets to ask questions and be in on the strategy meetings and all these kinds of things. And that way you guys get a unique view where it's not just what in my head what's happening, it's me explaining it to him what's happening. So he's kind of in proxy for the rest of the audience, learning along as this thing is happening, as we're building it out and seeing behind the scenes as we do the pages and the funnels. Anyway, I'm so exciting. So we started filming some of them today. We've been working on the Prove It funnels. We filmed behind the scenes of us doing the whole strategy session, pre-launch stuff. Next week I'm flying out to actually speak at a network marketing event and a Prove It event. So we're going to film me in the air flying there, telling the story and those kind of things. And then my next book's coming out, so we're going to film that story. And we're going to show behind the scenes of that book funnel. I'll show you behind the scenes of the Tony Robbins book funnel. Dave Ashworth book funnel and all the other ones we've done and just kind of episode by episode build out different things and show you behind the scenes of what we're doing and how we're doing it, and why we're doing it. And the actual numbers, and the actual stats and having complete transparency. And the other cool thing we thought, if we have an episode that goes live, on the site we'll have the episode there, you could see each month by month, we could do income reports similar to what John Lee Dumas on Entrepreneur on Fire. Show each month, Bio-hacking Secrets launch. Month one we did this, month two, month three. Show the running stats of what each of these little business, each of these funnels is actually generating for us. And just try to be complete transparency. You guys can look at what we're doing and then funnel hack it for your own businesses. So that's the idea. I'm excited, I hope you're excited. We've been so crazy. We have some crazy ones. One of them we're flying down to Columbia to go drop ship roses. One of them…..anyway, we've got some crazy, crazy stuff that you guys are going to love, and you're going to have the chance to see behind the scenes of everything. So that's the first part. The second part, I'm not sure if I should even talk about this yet, but we're trying to figure out how to make, and this idea came to me, I actually did a Periscope tonight, asking our Periscope followers, “What do you guys think about this?” Trying to get them engaged with the idea and get some other feedback, what they'd want to hear and see in the episodes. One thing I kind of talked about was, I don't know if you guys watch the show the Bachelor or the Bachelorette. You shouldn't, but if you do you know what I'm talking about where they every night that it's on, people all around America have these big bachelor parties where they get their friends and family, everyone gets together and they watch the episode together live and they talk about it for the next week waiting for the next one. I was like, what if we build these really cool things like mini hack-a-thons or something where each week when the episode is live; people could run a hack-a-thon in their local area and invite their friends and family members have everyone come over and watch this thing, and watch it streaming, and see the actual ups-ell unfold and see how cool it is. Wouldn't that be awesome. We were thinking about even having it kind of like a pre level certification. Our certified partners could run bigger versions of these, but having this as like a pre thing where you pay a little bit to get in, and you get in we send you a box, and the box has got like 10 Funnel Hacker t-shirts and it's got a special gift that's only for people who are hosting funnel hacking parties. And it's got…..we're talking about, Steven had an idea of making a lead pages dart board and having that there. A whole bunch of awesome stuff. But that would be the thing and that would get people all around the country each week as we release these episodes, we release them at the same time, getting everyone on board, getting everyone to watch together, and commenting and sharing and talking. Make it a really cool, interactive community type building thing where we're all experiencing this together at the same time. That's my thoughts. So with that said, I would love to hear your guys' feedback. Hit me up on Facebook or whatever and say “Yay” or “Nay” or “This is stupid” or “this is awesome” or “I would love to watch that and share it with everybody I know”. Because we're trying to make this a cool thing. It's gonna be called Funnel Hacker TV. Some of you guys have seen we had two episodes of Funnel Hacker TV in the past, but we're going to try and make this into a real thing. I think it's gonna be amazing. So I'm crazy excited. We've got, we started filming the first ones today. We've got a couple more tomorrow. The fun thing I'm learning is, and I've always been pretty good at project management, because that's what I've normally been doing. But now we're project managing 13 funnels at once because we're filming different parts and different things with each one. And trying to make sure we have each of the sections for each of the things. It's gonna be amazing. I just wanted to share it with you guys. Please keep it a secret. Don't tell anybody else. Hopefully it gets you guys excited and gets you thinking about cool things you can do in your own community to get people more engaged and more excited and I think this is going to be it for us. It's going to take the marketing to the next level. And just the community and this whole brand we're trying to build and take it more mainstream and make it more fun and just make it not a software program. We don't want this to be that. We want this to be a cult, I mean a community. So that's the game plan. I appreciate you guys. I'm walking in the store to grab my wife's stuff. I'll talk to you guys soon. Have a great night, appreciate you all, and that's about it. Talk to you guys soon. Bye.

Step one in our planning for the new FunnelHacker.tv. On today’s episode Russell talks about an idea he has for a new show about Russell and his team doing funnels for businesses. He explains what kinds of things you’d see on the show. But I have something I wanna talk to you guys about, but I’ve been all bottled up because I’ve had 9o’clock meetings, when usually I’m in the car right before 9. Anyway, I’ve just had less time to talk and hang out. So I’m going right now to the store to grab some stuff for my wife, so this gives me a cool opportunity to share some cool stuff for you guys. Hope you don’t mind. So I am crazy excited right now about something that we’re doing that I think is going to be amazing. I don’t know. I’m kind of nervous to tell you guys, not even everyone on my team, not even my partners know this yet. Todd will probably find out about this from this podcast. And maybe Dylan, I don’t know if he listens or not. Kind of what we’re thinking. How has marketing been done up to this point? It’s all about creating cool funnels, driving traffic and that conceptual thing. Or doing Periscopes or hang outs, or cool things. All I’m trying to figure out….I’m trying to be the next level, the bleeding edge, the next cool thing. And as we’re driving we’re talking about HGTV’s Flip That House, and we’re talking about just some things like that and as we’re driving all the sudden this inspiration I feel it just hit me from above thinking…saying, the cool thing about those shows is that they pick a house, rehab a house, you watch the whole process and in that process they’re telling the back story and all these things. They have this sub-story of things happening. Each week there’s a house that they’re finding, they’re rehabbing it, flipping it or whatever and making it awesome. That was our favorite one, with Chip and Joanne Gains, but all the house shows are similar. I was thinking about it, we’re working on a lot of side projects. Things I’m kind of doing on the side. Funnels I’m building for companies that we’ve traded equity for, stuff like that. And I was like, wouldn’t it be cool if we made our own reality tv show and showed behind the scenes, so people could actually see  what happens? And I started thinking of different funnels I’m working on and one of them is Bio-hacking Secrets with my friend Anthony Diclementi. We’ve already recorded so much cool footage of him with his Cryosauna with laser lights, and all these crazy….the visuals are already amazing, because we’ve been filming the whole process and we’re about to launch it. I’m like, you’re building all this stuff behind the scenes and no one gets to see it and it doesn’t really help the Clickfunnels community other than some of them hear about it later. But I’m like, what if that became a thing and each week we pick a funnel that we’re building anyway and we build it out live and everyone gets to see the story? And it’s not just like a boring thing us in the office like, “Blah blah blah.” Make it fun and exciting and have story lines and a whole bunch of things like that. So that’s kind of the idea. So we’ve mapped out the first 12 episodes, 12 funnels and some of them are projects like Bio-hacking secrets, the prove it funnels we’re working on, a couple things like that and some of them….For example, tomorrow I’m actually being interviewed, or he’s interviewing me or something I guess, I don’t even know. Robert Kiyosaki are getting on appear.in meeting and we’re recording it, gonna pre-record this intro for the webinar. Because me and him are doing a big webinar next month. And he can’t show up on them live because he’s going to be out of the country, so we’re filming the intro together and then we’ll show the intro and I’ll do the webinar live to his whole list. And his list is crazy huge, so we could in theory, I don’t know do half a million or million dollar webinar, and wouldn’t that be a cool episode to film that whole thing? Film me tomorrow as I’m driving to the office, freaking out excited and there film behind the scenes of me interviewing Kiyosaki and us being on this thing together. And film the webinar actually happening and showing all the nervousness before and showing people registering and showing up and stats and numbers, and doing the webinar and showing the pitch, the close, the percentages. Just showing the whole thing. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Or with Bio-hacking Secrets, we’re about to launch. It’s a free book funnel, plus a tele-seminar funnel, plus a webinar high ticket funnel. All of that Is 90% done. So we’re going to fly Anthony out and film the story of us launching this thing, and how we buy the ads and how we get the right things and testing the campaign and seeing what’s converting and what’s not converting. Doing all the stuff we do anyway, but showing you guys behind the scenes of it, in a really cool, fun exciting thing. Wouldn’t that be fun? So that’s kind of the first half. Again, I’m trying to think, how do we make this fun and engaging and exciting. Recently one of our fellow funnel hackers started working for me, and he’s in the office, sits right behind my desk. His name is Steven Larsen, some of you guys may know him, so he’s been actually…I’ve been focusing a little more on strategy since he’s been here and he’s been focusing on building out and we’ve been kind of going back and forth until something looks really good. So I thought on the show, instead of me talking about it and building it and being really annoying person who thinks he’s really important, instead wouldn’t it be cool if its like, I’m coaching, which I’m doing anyway, but I’m coaching Steven through building these funnels and doing the whole process. And he gets to ask questions and be in on the strategy meetings and all these kinds of things. And that way you guys get a unique view where it’s not just what in my head what’s happening, it’s me explaining it to him what’s happening. So he’s kind of in proxy for the rest of the audience, learning along as this thing is happening, as we’re building it out and seeing behind the scenes as we do the pages and the funnels. Anyway, I’m so exciting. So we started filming some of them today. We’ve been working on the Prove It funnels. We filmed behind the scenes of us doing the whole strategy session, pre-launch stuff. Next week I’m flying out to actually speak at a network marketing event and a Prove It event. So we’re going to film me in the air flying there, telling the story and those kind of things. And then my next book’s coming out, so we’re going to film that story. And we’re going to show behind the scenes of that book funnel. I’ll show you behind the scenes of the Tony Robbins book funnel. Dave Ashworth book funnel and all the other ones we’ve done and just kind of episode by episode build out different things and show you behind the scenes of what we’re doing and how we’re doing it, and why we’re doing it. And the actual numbers, and the actual stats and having complete transparency. And the other cool thing we thought, if we have an episode that goes live, on the site we’ll have the episode there, you could see each month by month, we could do income reports similar to what John Lee Dumas on Entrepreneur on Fire. Show each month, Bio-hacking Secrets launch. Month one we did this, month two, month three. Show the running stats of what each of these little business, each of these funnels is actually generating for us. And just try to be complete transparency. You guys can look at what we’re doing and then funnel hack it for your own businesses. So that’s the idea. I’m excited, I hope you’re excited. We’ve been so crazy. We have some crazy ones. One of them we’re flying down to Columbia to go drop ship roses. One of them…..anyway, we’ve got some crazy, crazy stuff that you guys are going to love, and you’re going to have the chance to see behind the scenes of everything. So that’s the first part. The second part, I’m not sure if I should even talk about this yet, but we’re trying to figure out how to make, and this idea came to me, I actually did a Periscope tonight, asking our Periscope followers, “What do you guys think about this?” Trying to get them engaged with the idea and get some other feedback, what they’d want to hear and see in the episodes. One thing I kind of talked about was, I don’t know if you guys watch the show the Bachelor or the Bachelorette. You shouldn’t, but if you do you know what I’m talking about where they every night that it’s on, people all around America have these big bachelor parties where they get their friends and family, everyone gets together and they watch the episode together live and they talk about it for the next week waiting for the next one. Wouldn’t that be awesome. We were thinking about even having it kind of like a pre level certification. Our certified partners could run bigger versions of these, but having this as like a pre thing where you pay a little bit to get in, and you get in we send you a box, and the box has got like 10 Funnel Hacker t-shirts and it’s got a special gift that’s only for people who are hosting funnel hacking parties. And it’s got…..we’re talking about, Steven had an idea of making a lead pages dart board and having that there. A whole bunch of awesome stuff. But that would be the thing and that would get people all around the country each week as we release these episodes, we release them at the same time, getting everyone on board, getting everyone to watch together, and commenting and sharing and talking. Make it a really cool, interactive community type building thing where we’re all experiencing this together at the same time. That’s my thoughts. So with that said, I would love to hear your guys’ feedback. Hit me up on Facebook or whatever and say “Yay” or “Nay” or “This is stupid” or “this is awesome” or “I would love to watch that and share it with everybody I know”. Because we’re trying to make this a cool thing. It’s gonna be called Funnel Hacker TV. Some of you guys have seen we had two episodes of Funnel Hacker TV in the past, but we’re going to try and make this into a real thing. I think it’s gonna be amazing. So I’m crazy excited. We’ve got, we started filming the first ones today. We’ve got a couple more tomorrow. The fun thing I’m learning is, and I’ve always been pretty good at project management, because that’s what I’ve normally been doing. But now we’re project managing 13 funnels at once because we’re filming different parts and different things with each one. And trying to make sure we have each of the sections for each of the things. It’s gonna be amazing. I just wanted to share it with you guys. Please keep it a secret. Don’t tell anybody else. Hopefully it gets you guys excited and gets you thinking about cool things you can do in your own community to get people more engaged and more excited and I think this is going to be it for us. It’s going to take the marketing to the next level. And just the community and this whole brand we’re trying to build and take it more mainstream and make it more fun and just make it not a software program. We don’t want this to be that. We want this to be a cult, I mean a community. So that’s the game plan. I appreciate you guys. I’m walking in the store to grab my wife’s stuff. I’ll talk to you guys soon. Have a great night, appreciate you all, and that’s about it. Talk to you guys soon. Bye.

A behind the scenes look at what I was really feeling inside. On today's episode Russell talks about being in Phoenix Arizona and meeting with some icons of the industry. He also talks about the possibility of doing an infomercial for his new book, Expert Secrets. Here are some fun things to listen for in the episode: What it was like being at Robert Kiyosaki's office and how they use Clickfunnels How Russell got Dean Graziosi to agree to help him with an infomercial. And why Russell's whole day was just the best day ever. So listen below to hear about Russell's amazing day in Phoenix. ---Transcript--- Hey everyone, this is Russell Brunson and welcome to Marketing in My Hotel Room. Hey everyone, I am actually in my hotel room shaving right now and I'm about to go to Joe Polishes 25K group and I thought, you know what….I wanted to share with you guys what happened yesterday. So you have to hear me shave, I have a horrible echo in this room. It's going to sound horrible and I'm super late. I have to be there in 12 minutes, and instead I'm shaving and yeah, that's how I roll. I'm never on time for anything. I am the biggest procrastinator ever. I'm giving a talk today and I finally finished my talk and I'm like, “Oh crap, I got 12 minutes to get there, time to start getting ready.” That's why I'm shaving right now and then on top of that I thought let's just do a quick podcast to share the crazy day I had yesterday. That's what's happening. Welcome inside my world. So yesterday was insane. We came to Joe Polishes 25K group today, which is in Phoenix, Arizona. And recently we got Robert Kiyosaki to write the forward for my new book, which is for me, the coolest, craziest thing ever. We became friends with one of the guys inside of their office that works there and turns out that they're in Phoenix. I'm like, “We're going to be in Phoenix tomorrow. Can we come see you guys?” and he was like, “Sure.” So we came and it so crazy cool. We walked in the office and meet the guys and they guys I guess have been going through a bunch of our stuff. They listened to this podcast and bought some of our books and products. We walked into one of the offices and they had, I could see Perfect Webinar Script on the desk and some other stuff. It was cool. They had been totally going through our stuff. They started to use Clickfunnels 3 or 4 weeks ago. They're like, “We built 5 funnels, we have a launch happening next week. We're loving it. We're cancelling Infusionsoft.” All sorts of amazingness is happening. It was awesome. So that was cool. And then we had a tour of the whole office. We went into his radio station. The little studio with the microphone and everything and we recorded….I did a Periscope from there, so if you want to see that go to marketingquickiesshow.com you should be able to see the Periscope from inside the Rich Dad office, which is so much fun. We interviewed them and they told this story about how their whole business came about. I didn't realize this, but I guess Kiyosaki built the game first. Sorry it's hard to shave and talk. He built the game first and then he loved the game but nobody was really buying it so they wanted to sell the game, so he wrote the book as an instruction manual to sell the game. And then the book, I think he published it independently. It was selling well, but not awesome. But it was selling good enough that it got on Oprah's radar. Oprah went and had him on and boom it exploded and he became what he is now, which is cool. And he used that to sell the game and then from there they did a bunch of other stuff, so that was awesome. Kiyosaki, Robert was not there, so we didn't get a chance to meet him, but we heard a lot of stories about him, which were very interesting. And we were trying to get him to speak at Funnel Hacking Live next year, which would be awesome. So that is one of my goals. And then a couple of other things. We talked to those guys, they have agreed to promote the Funnel Hacks webinar. So we're going to do the webinar to the whole Rich Dad audience and get these guys building funnels, which would be exciting. Help serve them. And then we're also kind of helping them with a webinar that they're creating. So I'm excited about that. So we're going to be helping them create a perfect webinar, and create an offer, and put out a $1000 version of their Rich Dad Poor Dad stuff and make them a bunch of money. So that is the game plan. See how much money we can make Rich Dad and make him even richer and hopefully he'll think I'm cool. Because that's why we do what we do. Anyway, I'm excited and that was awesome. So then we jumped in an Uber and 4 minutes away we went Dean Graziosi's office, which is Dean is like the other biggest real estate dude in the world, and infomercial Guru and everything. So we went there and got to see his whole studio where they film their shows. We saw that they have Cryosauna in their office, which is super cool because I ordered my Cryosauna yesterday for my house, so we saw that.  We sat around for two hours and I wish, oh I wish we would have recorded it. It was crazy. We sat there for 2 hours, it was a direct response history lesson. The first guy I ever learned from was Don Lapre back when I was 12 years old. And Dean was business partners with Don Larpre and talked about infomercials they did together. The whole story and the ups and downs they had together, it was crazy. It was like direct response history. Going back to the foundation of this whole…..it was the……all these things and these stories, I was totally geeking out. You have no idea how exciting it was for me. So I sat there and listened to stories and we talked about things and looked what they were doing and tried to help them a little bit. Looked at what we were doing with Clickfunnels and how we were trying to grow that. And the cool thing about Kiyosaki's office, they're using Clickfunnels, at Dean's office they're using Clickfunnels. It's just so cool to see people you've looked up to your whole life, I used to watch Dean's infomercials, this is how dorky I am. And then I would get them transcribed and I would read them and try to understand how he did his pitch. And now to see him and his team using Clickfunnels and being obsessed with it and excited is the coolest thing in the world for me. So that was really fun. And then, towards the end we started talking about my new book coming out, Expert Secrets and I was like “Oh we were at Kiyosaki's office. He wrote the forward for it.“ and he was like, “ Oh what's the plan with the book?” I'm like, “Oh, to take over the world basically.” And I was like, “ You know what would be cool” and it was funny because he doesn't know and I didn't even tell him this, maybe he'll find this out someday but, at the very first 25K meeting with Joe Polishes group I was at, I was sitting at the dinner table and Dean was across from me, and I was sitting there. And I had told everyone that day actually, that I was never going to write a book again, and I looked across and I saw Dean, it was nothing he said or anything, but I was looking at him and I was like, I need to write a book, and it needs to be called Expert Secrets and Dean needs to do an infomercial for me. And then I went from there back to my hotel room and I called Julie, who is the person who helps me write my books, “Julie, book #2 is on the queue. Let me send you some money, let's get this thing started.” Sent her some money and the book began that day. That was a meeting ago. Now it's been 6 months since that meeting, the books almost done. It's crazy. So I had this meeting with Dean and I was kind of like, trying to be all cool, even though I'm super nerding out on the whole thing. Anyway, I'm like, “Hey, what I really want to do with this book, the goal with it is to take it main stream. The Dotcom Secrets book was all about getting our community and people who were marketers to understand these core concepts. Expert Secrets is about taking this to the masses. How do we get everyone to understand that they have a talent and a hobby and unique abilities that can change the world? And then Clickfunnels is the tool that allows you to do that. How do we get that out to everyone? And obviously infomercials would be the coolest.” So I told him, “My real motive is I really want to do an infomercial for this book and I want you to help me.” And he's like, “Done. Let's do it.”  And I was like, “What? Are you kidding me? You're going to help me with an infomercial? How cool is that?” So we're going to try to do an infomercial with Dean selling the Expert Secrets book, which is insane. And he knows if it'll work or not, but just the fact that we're gonna try is so exciting. Anyway, so if you guys see me and I've got a grin on my face that's as big as…..it's huge, and I'm so excited. That's it. When we left, Dave Woodward is with me, when we left we're pinching ourselves. I can't believe what we experienced in the last four hours. We just hung out at Kiyosaki's office, and Deans office. The most amazing day ever. It can't get any better than this. We should just go to bed and just end this because it's such a perfect day and it was awesome. Anyway, that was my day yesterday, and now I'm up in the morning. Just finished my talk and now I got 4 minutes to be there and I still need to shower, so I gotta bounce guys. But anyway, I wanted to share that with you guys because it was exciting for me and hopefully it's exciting for your guys as well. Appreciate you all, have an amazing day. Get some stuff done and we'll talk to you guys all again soon.

How cool is that?” So we’re going to try to do an infomercial with Dean selling the Expert Secrets book, which is insane. And he knows if it’ll work or not, but just the fact that we’re gonna try is so exciting. Anyway, so if you guys see me and I’ve got a grin on my face that’s as big as…..it’s huge, and I’m so excited. That’s it. When we left, Dave Woodward is with me, when we left we’re pinching ourselves. I can’t believe what we experienced in the last four hours. We just hung out at Kiyosaki’s office, and Deans office. The most amazing day ever. It can’t get any better than this. We should just go to bed and just end this because it’s such a perfect day and it was awesome. Anyway, that was my day yesterday, and now I’m up in the morning. Just finished my talk and now I got 4 minutes to be there and I still need to shower, so I gotta bounce guys. But anyway, I wanted to share that with you guys because it was exciting for me and hopefully it’s exciting for your guys as well. Appreciate you all, have an amazing day. Get some stuff done and we’ll talk to you guys all again soon.
