Simulation d'un accident industriel à Sélestat. Lauréate du prix territorial “Tous résilients face aux risques”, la municipalité organisera demain matin un exercice impliquant un accident industriel, dans un des sites industriels de la ZI Nord. Le dispositif téléalerte sera utilisé afin d'informer la population de l'exercice. Ein Lehrstück über direkte Demokratie: Wie Swisscom, Ringier und Co. die E-ID-Abstimmung zu ihren Gunsten lenkten – mit Palantir im Hintergrund.Ein Standpunkt von Michael Straumann.50,39 Prozent Ja zu 49,61 Prozent Nein – ein Unterschied von nur 20.000 Stimmen, kaum mehr als die Bevölkerung einer Schweizer Kleinstadt. Das Resultat sorgte weltweit für Aufsehen. In den sozialen Medien zeigten sich viele entsetzt darüber, dass ausgerechnet die Schweiz – das Land der direkten Demokratie – oft als «Freiheitsinsel Europas» verklärt – dem E-ID-Gesetz zustimmte.Der US-amerikanische Journalist und Twitter-Files-Mitherausgeber Michael Shellenberger schrieb kurz nach der Abstimmung am 28. September:"Gütiger Gott. Die Schweizer Bevölkerung hat soeben der digitalen ID zugestimmt. Australien führte sie im Dezember ein, Großbritannien letzte Woche. In allen drei Ländern stehen Politiker dahinter, die eng mit dem Deep State verflochten sind. Das ist ein digitaler ID- und Zensur-Notstand."Welch Paradoxon: Im Namen der Demokratie kann ein Volk so gelenkt werden, dass es dem Abbau seiner eigenen Grundrechte zustimmt. Juli 2025 überwies die Swisscom 30'000 Franken an das «Wirtschaftskomitee Schweizer e-ID». Öffentlich bekannt wurde die Zahlung jedoch erst am 21. September – eine Woche vor dem Urnengang. Damit verletzte Swisscom das in der Bundesverfassung garantierte Gebot der Abstimmungsfreiheit (Art. 34 Abs. 2 BV).Als staatsnahes Unternehmen ist die Swisscom zur politischen Neutralität verpflichtet. Plusieurs milliers de manifestants à nouveau hier en Alsace. A Strasbourg, Mulhouse ou encore à Colmar, des rassemblements ont été organisés à l'appel des organisations syndicales. On y a respectivement compté à Strasbourg entre 1 500 et 8 000 personnes, selon les dires de la police ou de la CGT. Ils auraient aussi été entre 800 et 1 500 à Mulhouse. A moins de 6 mois des élections municipales, prévues les 15 et 22 mars prochain, la campagne électorale colmarienne prend forme avec déjà six candidats officiellement déclarés. Parmi eux, le maire sortant, Éric Straumann, a confirmé sa candidature à sa réélection. Die EU arbeitet an einer Altersverifikations-App, die die E-ID direkt mit den Online-Aktivitäten der Bürger verknüpfen soll. Der Prototyp läuft bereits in Italien, Dänemark, Spanien und Griechenland. Parallel dazu wird eine digitale Brieftasche entwickelt, in der künftig Führerschein, Gesundheitsdaten und Bankkarten Platz finden.Auch Deutschland treibt die elektronische Identität voran: Der Koalitionsvertrag der schwarz-roten Regierung sieht ein verpflichtendes Bürgerkonto und eine E-ID vor, die mit der EU-Brieftasche gekoppelt wird. Im Vereinigten Königreich ist die elektronische Identität schon heute Voraussetzung für Arbeitsplatz, Wohnung und Gesundheitsversorgung. Australien geht noch weiter: Dort soll der Zugriff auf Internetsuchmaschinen wie Google oder Bing künftig nur noch mit E-ID möglich sein. In Schweden gilt sie zwar offiziell als freiwillig, ist aber im Alltag faktisch unverzichtbar – sei es bei Bankgeschäften, Steuererklärungen oder Arztbesuchen. Österreich wiederum setzt auf Druck: Wer die staatliche ID Austria verweigert, kann sanktioniert werden. So verlor kürzlich eine Lehrerin ihre Stelle, weil sie sich weigerte, die digitale Identität zu nutzen.Auch in der Schweiz drängt die Politik auf eine E-ID – gebremst einzig durch die direkte Demokratie. 2021 lehnte das Stimmvolk die damalige Vorlage mit deutlichen 64,4 Prozent ab. Statt diesen Entscheid zu akzeptieren, legte der Bundesrat rasch nach: In der neuen Gesetzesvorlage soll der digitale Identitätsnachweis nicht mehr von privaten Firmen, sondern angeblich vom Staat herausgegeben werden. Der geplante Kauf der F-35-Kampfjets offenbart den Scherbenhaufen, den Viola Amherd in der Schweizer Armee hinterlassen hat.Ein Standpunkt von Michael Straumann.So viel zum Sommerloch. Mitte Juni erschütterte ein weiterer Skandal die Schweizer Politik. Diesmal betroffen: das Eidgenössische Departement für Verteidigung, Bevölkerungsschutz und Sport (VBS). Ursprünglich plante der Bundesrat, 36 F-35-Kampfjets zu einem vermeintlichen Fixpreis von sechs Milliarden Franken anzuschaffen. Nun stellt sich heraus: Diesen Fixpreis hat es – entgegen den wiederholten Behauptungen der ehemaligen VBS-Chefin Viola Amherd und der Schweizer Armee – nie gegeben.Bereits im Mai 2022 warnte die Eidgenössische Finanzkontrolle (EFK) vor der «rechtlichen Unsicherheit beim Begriff des Festpreises» in den Vertragsdokumenten. Diese sprachen von «geschätzten Kosten» und davon, dass der Endpreis den Kosten der US-Regierung entsprechen würde. Amherd und ihre Mitarbeiter wiesen diese Warnungen zurück und warfen der EFK vor, Politik zu betreiben. Mitte Juni trat Amherds Nachfolger Martin Pfister an die Öffentlichkeit und räumte ein, dass bei der Beschaffung des F-35 Mehrkosten von bis zu 1,35 Milliarden Franken drohen. Auf US-Seite sei von einem «Missverständnis» bezüglich des Fixpreises die Rede. Experten und Militärkritiker vermuten, dass sich die F-35-Beschaffung inklusive aller Zusatzkosten auf bis zu zehn Milliarden Franken belaufen könnte.Horrende SummenWoher kommen diese enormen Kostensteigerungen? Zum einen enthält das Vertragspaket mit den Amerikanern nur eine rudimentäre Bewaffnung, die später nachgerüstet werden muss – etwa mit Bomben oder neuen Infrarot-Lenkwaffen. Geschätzte Zusatzkosten: 107 Millionen Franken für die Bewaffnung und weitere 400 Millionen für Lenkwaffen.Zum anderen gilt das Triebwerk des F-35 als pannenanfällig, weswegen nach der Auslieferung eine Nachrüstung vorgesehen ist. Der Ersatz der Triebwerke für alle 36 Jets könnte etwa 430 Millionen Franken kosten. Zudem erfordert das geplante Radar- und Software-Update (TR-4-Avionik) ein teures Triebwerks-Update, das laut US-Kongress etwa 2,4 Milliarden Dollar kostet. Cet épisode de fortes chaleurs, qui comprend des températures maximales autour de 35 degrés et des nuits qui descendent rarement en-dessous des 20, devrait durer jusqu'en milieu de semaine.Des tarifs réduits pour les jeunes. La région Grand-Est et ses trois länders allemands voisins ont mis en place le Pass Grenzenlos, sans frontières en français. Ce dernier permet aux jeunes de moins de 28 ans de pouvoir voyager au tarif de 29 euros par mois dans tout le Grand-Est, le Bade-Wurtemberg, la Rhénanie-Palatinat et la Sarre. En 2024, 20 700 pass avaient été vendus. Cette année, l'expérience est de nouveau proposée. Les jeunes pourront donc voyager en IRE, RB, RE et S-Bahnen en Allemagne et en train et en Car TER Fluo en France. Cette offre est valable depuis le 5 juin dernier et le sera jusqu'à la fin du mois d'août. Ce dispositif a pour but de renforcer la mobilité transfrontalière des jeunes.Il y a une semaine, la première pierre a été posée sur la future zone d'activités de Turckheim, sur le site de l'ancienne papeterie Schwindenhammer. Her research interests include preclinical and clinical research in immediate implant placement and also guided bone regeneration. Rebecca is a fellow of the ITI, and current Australasian Section Chair. She is a member ofNZDA, ADA &ANZAP. Rebecca enjoys teaching and presenting both locally and internationally. Since 2018 Rebecca has been a young KOL for Geistlich Asia-Pacific. She also presents for Straumann, Nobel Biocare and EMS. She holds honorary faculty positions at both Charles Sturt University, NSW and the University of Melbourne. In 2020 Rebecca launched a new initiative- ‘Women in Dentistry- Ladies who lunch and learn', a group focused on the wellbeing, education and support of the female demographic within the dental profession of New Zealand. Oral health is equally as inportant as physical health. Today's guest is my Dentist Dr. John Tsaknis, who I have had for over a decade. Dr. Tsaknis is a DC native. He went to The University of Maryland, Collge Park and received a BS degree in Zoology, received his dental degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He continued his training with a two year residency at the University of Maryland Medical System, to include Shock Trauma, Kernan Hospital, Childrens Hospital, Head and Neck Cancer Ward and the Baltimore Veterans Administration. Later, he taught part time for a number of years at the University of Maryland in the areas of Emergency Clinic, New Patient Clinic and oversaw D3, D4 and PGY1 residents in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department. Dr. Tsaknis received a certificate for anesthesiology and is only a handful of dentist in the DC area trained in sedation. After working as an associate for a few years, he started Tsaknis Dental & Associates in Ashburn, VA and later started Tsaknis Dental Group in downtown DC. In 2009 Dr. Tsaknis started his third office DentalBug at 703 D Street NW, Later rebranding all to City Dental DC and in 2019 he started his fourth office at 2075 L, NW, partnering with Javan Wellness at that location. Dr. Tsaknis has over 1000 hours of continuing education, has been trained and certified on both the Galileos Cone Beam CT scanner and the Cerec Cad-Cam systems for same day crowns. He has been trained on Biolase lasers, Velscope and a variety of implant brands: BioMet3I, Noble Biocare, Straumann, Bicon, Implant Direct and several others. Dr. Tsaknis also provides Oral Sleep Apnea appliances as he is not only a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, but is also certified at the Qualified Dental Designation level and in 2022 received the highest achievement as a Diplomate of the ABDSM. Rick Elmore is an entrepreneur, sales and marketing expert, and former college and professional football athlete. Rick's career and story During my MBA, we had to start a project. When I was recruited in college, the coaches who always stood out the most to me were the coaches who sent handwritten notes. One year, in 2016, my wife and I had 400 clients. We tried sending out 400 printed holiday cards. All we did was hand-write the envelope and it took us over two weeks. I was like, “There has to be a better way.” So, I started researching. I looked up some technologies that were available. It wasn't until 2017 that I dove into it for a school project, but, really, I'd researched the technology for about a year. Best advice for entrepreneurs A lot of people want to become entrepreneurs or start a business, but they have analysis paralysis, overthink They think, 'I can't do it.' They think they have to have all the answers, but really, it's just taking that first step and getting started. Absolutely build the best relationships you can with those first clients. Those are your lighthouse customers. Those are the risk-takers. Those are the ones who are going to give you an opportunity. You have to make sure everything goes through. The biggest, most critical failure with customers I would say scaling a company is really hard. I'm struggling with figuring out how to scale a service like this when you're selling a $2 and $3 item. We want to help every client out, and we need to figure out an effective, efficient, really personal way of doing that. Biggest success with customers Something that I'm really good at is perseverance, relentless competition. That's just baked into who I am. Being patient is important. When you're an entrepreneur and starting a business, it's really hard to be patient because you have bills to pay. Rick's recommendation of a tool Zapier it's a platform that allows you to automate tasks between software. Rick's one key success factor The first thing you need is a really good support system. I have a wife and two kids and my parents live in Arizona. I absolutely couldn't do this if it wasn't for them. It takes time to get a business off the ground. One other thing that's important is to remember that you fail only when you give up or quit.
