Spybrary field agent Chris Lueloff slipped us this brush pass review of Bill Granger's spy thriller November Man series Lueloff shares why spy book readers will enjoy Granger's work and boldly declares that Peter Devereaux is an American Quiller. Agree, disagree? Come and let us know your thoughts in the Spybrary fans community. More About the November Man spy series according to Randall at Spy Guys and Gals. 'Peter Deveraux, codename the November Man, is an agent for the CIA. This highly experience agent whose first name is never revealed, works for R Section of the CIA Under a man named Hanley, referred to as an "asshole" by Deveraux in the second page of the first book and expanded upon throughout the series. He is extremely good at his job, which makes him valuable, but he doesn't suffer well the fools and incompetents above him, which makes him undesirable. It makes the series delicious. Also making the series something to read are two recurring characters.'

BONJOUR A TOUS AUJOURDHUI NOUS ALLONS VOUS PARLER CINEMA ET JEUX VIDEO PLUS PRECISEMENT DE John Wick 4: Everything We Know About The Action SequelKeanu Reeves returns as the reluctant former hitman in the fourth movie in the action franchise, which arrives in 2022.GameSpot NewslettersGet the latest gaming news, reviews, and deals sent to your inbox, FREE!Email AddressThe John Wick series is one of the most successful action franchises of recent years, but unlike many big movie franchises, it had a relatively modest beginning. 2014's John Wick, which starred Keanu Reeves as a former hitman reluctantly brought out of retirement, was not a massive commercial success. It grossed $86 million worldwide--a respectable figure for a movie with a $30 million production budget, but hardly the sort of numbers that suggests the start of a big ongoing series. It was 2017's sequel, John Wick: Chapter 2, that really took the series into blockbuster territory. With a bigger scale and far more extravagant action set-pieces, it was a critical and commercial smash. John Wick: Chapter 3--Parabellum, released in 2019, was even bigger, making $327.3 million worldwide and ensuring the long-term future of the franchise. John Wick 4 is due for release in 2022. The movie was originally supposed to be with us in 2021, but like many movies over the past two years, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But with shooting now complete, it will finally arrive next summer--so here's everything we know to date about John Wick 4.What's the release date?John Wick 4 will hit theaters on May 27, 2022.Who's Coming Back?Several of the main actors from the previous John Wick movies will be back for this fourth installment. Keanu Reeves plays the title role once more, with Ian McShane back as Winston, the manager of the New York Continental Hotel, and Wick's former friend who betrayed him at the end of Chapter 3. Lance Reddick returns as Charon, the concierge of the Continental, and Laurence Fishburne plays The Bowery King, the head of the underworld intelligence network known as The Soup Kitchen.Who's new?John Wick 4 has added several new actors to its cast. It's an impressive mix of character actors and established action stars, plus pop star Rina Sawayama in her first movie. The supporting cast looks like this:Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Rogue One)Shamier Anderson (Wynonna Earp)Bill Skarsgård (Eternals, It)Hiroyuki Sanada (Army of the Dead, Westworld)Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2, Doctor Strange)Clancy Brown (Thor: Ragnarok, Promising Young Woman)Rina SawayamaWho's the director? The movie is helmed by former stuntman Chad Stahelski. He also directed the second and third John Wick films and co-directed the first with David Leitch.Who's the writer?John Wick 4 is written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. Hatten co-wrote Chapter 3 as well as Zach Scheider's Army of the Dead and Army of Thieves. Finch's credits include Predators, American Assassin, and The November Man. Notably, this will be the first John Wick movie without any involvement from franchise creator Derek Kolstad, who previously revealed that he wasn't asked to work on the film. What's the story?John Wick 4 will pick up the story after the shocking events at the end of the third movie. Wick was shot and seemingly left for dead by Winston, who is able to regain his role as manager of the Continental as a result. But Wick survived and plans to bring down the feared underworld authority the High Table, potentially with the help of the Bowery King. While we don't know much more about the film's plot beyond that, Reeves recently revealed that the opening sequence will take place in the desert. "John Wick is back in the desert on a horse," he told Collider. "I'm going to hopefully be able to fast-gallop and run.”In addition, Stahelski told IndieWire that the movie won't have a happy ending. "He's got nowhere to go,” he said. “Honestly, I challenge you right now, here's a question to you: How do you f***ing want me to end it? Do you think he's going to ride off into the f***ing sunset? He's killed 300 f***ing people and he's just going to [walk away], everything's okay? He's f***ed for the rest of his life. It's just a matter of time."Is there any footage or images?Production on John Wick Chapter 4 only wrapped in November, so unsurprisingly we're yet to see any official images or footage from the film. However, some on-set photos did leak, including one suggesting that the movie's title might be John Wick 4: Hagakure. But of course, this could just be a working title - or a red herring. We'll know soon enough. Will there be more John Wick movies? This film will definitely not be the final John Wick movie. The fifth film is confirmed, and at one stage was set to shoot back-to-back with the fourth. But although this didn't happen, we know Stahelski will return as director. Beyond that, the prequel TV show The Continental is on the way--the three-part Starz series will be set in the '70s and focus on the rise of the hitman hotel of the title. This week the boys discussed the Alec Baldwin gun “accident,” woke advertising, Guy Faukes, and more. In the news (04:35) we covered the “accident” that happened on the set of Alec Baldwin's “Rust” movie set, some dads patrolling their school & proving masculinity isn't what's toxic, and NASA chief Bill Nelson's comments on UFOs. In cool stuff (29:05) we looked at a homebuilt wooden gym, screws that don't look like screws, and an Army dad's creative surprise for his football playing son. We're pissed off (37:14) this week at woke advertising from Twix and Doritos. In sports (52:42) we took a look at “Bull Soccer.” Finally, this week in His Story (55:23) we learned about Regan's election and his familiar sounding campaign slogan, Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot, and the Bolshevik takeover of Russia. #mantools #remodelyourlife #makemenmanlyagain Contains paid promotion. Well after apparently taking our last Bond actor filmography episode a little too far with a total of three episodes on it, we're back to finally move on to the next James Bond actor and a film from their career that isn't a James Bond movie. Although, perhaps we didn't really choose one that was TOO different as we take a closer look at the Pierce Brosnan movie that is The November Man from 2014. Do we appreciate our beloved Pierce in this movie even though he sort of still is being James Bond? Why does it look like Pierce just really wants to fart throughout this film? Who is the other guy in this movie and is he as famous as that famous Canadian actor Jack Smiggins? Who is Jack Smiggins? Why do we love Jack Smiggins? Does Pierce love Jack Smiggins? Is Jack Smiggins on Facebook? Twitter? Instagram? Could we interview Jack Smiggins? Is Jack Smiggins sexier than Pierce Brosnan? Would Noah like Jack Smiggins? And seriously, how amazing is that incredibly famous actor from Canada Jack Smiggins? "Peter Devereaux, you know what we used to call you? The November Man..." Happy Thanksgiving, friends! In honor of the holiday, we're going to discuss a Pierce Brosnan spy movie! How festive! So grab a drumstick while we give thanks for Brosnan's spy-focused career, how much this movie completely falls apart in the final act, and how ridiculous that nickname is!
We discuss and review the 2014 film The November Man.
Hi! My name is Terry J. Aman and this installment marks my 68th episode of "VideoFuzzy," reporting the progress I've made in cataloging more than 2,900 VHS transfers and digital recordings. In this installment, titled "Pretty Good Year," I took some time to do some home improvements, cleanup and reorganization around here and the impact this had on my cataloging efforts, along with a few observations on our social and political landscape. For my Friday Night Feature, I explore a very special fifth-season episode of "Desperate Housewives," celebrating their 100th episode, built around the impact of a good man on his neighbors and his neighborhood. It featured Beau Bridges as handyman Eli Scruggs. In Cross Connections, I trace him as a Golden Thread in my collection. Also, fond reflections on Regis Philbin and Chadwick Boseman. In What I've Been Watching, I took in the North Dakota Shakespeare Festival's Shakespeare in the Parking Lot production of "Hamlet" -- a drive-in production in a parking lot with four people. In my Classic VHS-to-DVD Collection, I talk about slow-walking my cataloging of "The West Wing," as well as episodes from the seventh season of "24," "Monk," President George W. Bush's farewell speech, and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" send-off for him, and President Barack Obama's inauguration. In my Current, direct-to-DVD Collection, comments on "The Alienist: Angel of Darkness," homeburns of the third season of "Legion" and "The Book of Eli," "Assassin's Creed," "The Shape of Water," "Inglourious Basterds," "The Family Fang," "Juno," "Game Night," "Wakefield," "The Commuter," "The Accountant," "Downsizing," "The Town," "The Circle," "Kagemusha," "The Fury," "The Phantom of the Paradise," "Across the Universe," "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" with Adam Samberg and Sarah Silverman, "What We Do in the Shadows," "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," "Solo: A Star Wars Story," "Ant-Man and The Wasp," "X2: X-Men United," "Keep Watching," "Toast of London" and "The November Man," which needed a lot more razzing than I was ultimately able to give it here. Finally, in my Off The Shelf segment, I pulled up my VHS copy of "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie" and commercial disc sets of "Arrested Development: Season Four," "Fargo: Season Two," "The Crazy Ones," and this fantastic DVD I found called "Dave Made a Maze" -- track it down, you won't be sorry.
If only Piers Brosnan had brought this much Daniel Craig grit and intensity to Bond. Underappreciated sub-Bourne actioner well worth a once through. Veteran Kiwi Roger Lindsey Donaldson directs.
“Nothing returns a memory as clearly as a song.” It only takes a few bars of the music we listened to at a sock hop, on our first date, on the car radio, or in our bedroom when something was happening that was important in our lives. When you and I hear the music we listened to when we were teenagers, those memories flow back. Relive those memories with Elliott Michael Gold and his guest actor Bill Smitrovich on the DC Radio Podcast "Rememories For Seniors" William Stanley Zmitrowicz Jr. (born May 16, 1947), known professionally as Bill Smitrovich has starred in a number of television series including Crime Story, Life Goes On, Miami Vice, NYPD Blue, The Rum Diary, Iron Man, Without a Trace, The Event, Independence Day, Air Force One, The November Man.Thirteen Days, Fail Safe, Eagle Eye, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, "Past Tense," 24, Numb3rs, NYPD Blue, Touched by an Angel, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Criminal Minds, Castle, the Dynasty reboot., Millennium, A Nero Wolfe Mystery, The Practice, The Henry Lee Project and more.
Luke Bracey wanted to be a professional rugby player, but fell into acting by chance. Over time, the Australian actor found himself on the long running soap opera, ‘Home and Away.’ His background in the physical and rigorous sport soon guided him into action roles, such as ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation,’ ‘The November Man,’ ‘Hacksaw Ridge,’ and the reboot for ‘Point Break.’ In the new film ‘Danger Close,’ the actor stepped into the role of Sergeant Bob Buick. The story uncovers a Vietnamese rubber plantation called Long Tan where 108 young and inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers fought 2,500 Viet Cong. In this interview, Bracey discusses his role as Utah in ‘Point Break,’ when to call in the professionals for stunt work, how he researches a role, and why ‘Danger Close’ was so personal for him. It's time... to watch a Brosnan film and cap off November while we're at it with The November Man (2014).
Thirteen Days, Cocktail, No Way Out, The Bounty, Species, Dante’s Peak, The November Man, The Bank Job and The World’s Fastest Indian - Australian born director Roger Donaldson’s resume is overflowing with big budget Hollywood movies starring A-list actors like Kevin Costner, Pierce Brosnan, Gene Hackman, Tom Cruise, Anthony Hopkins and Robin Williams to name just a few. Roger Donaldson’s success as a director derives from a unique combination of tenacity, hard work, serendipity, loveable cheekiness, and a passion for storytelling. Roger is also a big fan of incorporating his love of speed and racing into his films. Roger’s string of well known Hollywood movies spans almost 35 years, but many don’t know that it was his love for New Zealand that kick-started his career. His continues to be drawn to the bottom of the world to tell the stories of unlikely heroes and local legends like Burt Munroe, a motorcycle land speed record holder, depicted in The World’s Fastest Indian -- a critically acclaimed movie that almost never made it to the big screen.

AreYouScreening.com and BFCA critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review The November Man and As Above/So Below. The tail end of the summer seems to be a time that movie studios are giving up on, and that's led to Guardians of the Galaxy picking up week after week of the #1 position. We're closing in on some interesting releases, but what about these two films that aren't exactly killing the box office? Are they worth your time? We'll let you know, and answer listener questions.
If any of you can see the subtitle the reason I have it as such is because I kind of wondered why the main character of this weeks' movie is called "The November Man." And when you find out you could go through many emotions but joy isn't going to be one of them with that revelation. Also I meant to say this in the review as well but Devereaux is the complete opposite of James Bond. He is a very blunt and sometimes mean/scary kind of spy. Anyways aside from that review I talk the Labor Day Box Office Report and the news. Enjoy the show! Opening and Closing Song- Ticking Bomb by Aloe Blacc
