This week on The Found Podcast, we're continuing our conversation on one of the most important ingredients for female entrepreneurs and small business owners in 2025: community. And who better to help us dig deeper into this topic than returning guest and true community-building expert, Emily Reuschel? Emily is a rural wife, mom, and multi-passionate entrepreneur with a heart for growth and connection. From her early career as a teacher and camp counselor to her current work facilitating masterminds and leading in-person retreats, Emily's mission is clear: help women come home to themselves and find belonging with others. In this episode, we explore the many forms community can take: virtual, in-person, and even niche-based (yes, we even have a moment to ooh and aah over the Empyrean series!). Emily brings her grounded insight, tangible advice, and heartfelt encouragement to the table, reminding us that finding your people starts with intention, energy, and a willingness to be seen. If you've been craving real connection this year, or wondering where to even begin, this conversation is a must-listen. And be sure to stick around all the way to the end. Emily's final thoughts are a gentle but powerful nudge to take the next step. In this episode, we cover: Emily's journey from educator to community leader The value and dynamics of virtual vs. local communities How shared passions and niche interests can create unexpected bonds The energy and magic that come from intentional gatherings Practical tips for finding or creating community that fits you How vulnerability leads to deeper connection—online and offline Resources & Links:

She helps other rural women get clear on what they want, release the inner dialogue that keeps them stuck, and build a life of intentionality and purpose …. without giving up the small-town life they love. In this episode, we cover:  Emily's story of embarking on a personal growth journey, which ultimately led her to completely change and pivot her career to entrepreneurship How self-awareness really impacted Emily and led her to intentionality, the Enneagram, addressing trauma, and more in her life Understanding that it is NOT your responsibility to manage other people's emotional expectations of you + why people respond to in the ways that they do Why it's easier to be hateful than face your own insecurities How Emily helps women (especially rural women) through her YouDoYou challenges, masterminds, and retreats Resources & Links: YouDoYou82 Emily's Masterminds Ascend Retreats When the Body Says No [affiliate link] The Body Keeps the Score [affiliate link] The High 5 Habit [affiliate link] Learn more about T's coaching, group trainings, and self-guided learning Shop FFB Good Movement music by: Aaron Espe Podcast produced by: Jill Carr Podcasting Connect with Emily: Follow on Instagram @emilyreuschel Check out Emily's podcast: Gather in Growth Check out her website: http://emilyreuschel.com/ Connect with Terryn: Follow on Instagram @terryn.drieling Check out my website Send me an email at terryn@faithfamilyandbeef.com Find the complete show notes here: https://www.faithfamilyandbeef.com/ripple-effects-with-emily-reuschel-episode-9

After divorcing his wife of 20+ years, Mike Reuschel met another woman named Sue, and they quickly hit it off. They got married, and together, they enjoyed the finer things in life: luxury cars, traveling, and more. But when Mike's daughter from his first marriage had a wedding of her own... Well, that didn't go over so well with Sue. The wedding, which was estimated to cost $100,000, went over budget by a LOT, and Sue was not happy about it. So much so that their marriage started to crumble. After taking some time apart, Mike and Sue tried to rekindle things, but Sue just could not get over how much her husband spent on his daughter's wedding. The same night they got into this fight, Sue ended up with several stab wounds, almost ending her life. So who was responsible for this attack? Was it Mike who first attacked Sue? Or Sue, who first attacked Mike?

Emily Reuschel lives in a town of 50 people. No, that is not a typo. It's hard to even imagine being in a town that small and finding yourself on a personal development journey. She had this desire to connect with other women, and had a knowledge base to share, but she didn't know that anybody else was in that even mindset until she said "yes".   When you have an intuitive drop, when God's like, "Hey, what about this idea?" And you never lean into it, you stay in this space of stagnancy. But Emily leaned in and we can see how God has blessed her in the midst of small-town life. Oh man, listener, you are in for a treat. I'm so delighted to welcome Emily Reuschel on the podcast today. Emily focuses on habits, change, and the seasonality of life. I so appreciate that she is open to honestly discuss the struggles and downs of life, especially with her focus on rural women.  I'm so proud to give this episode to the world. It's a message I needed and is filled with such hope. Key Takeaways Emily grew up in a small community near St. Louis, studied education, and worked for a time as a teacher. She now lives in rural West Central Illinois with her family on her husband's family farm. Emily's mission is to bring together rockstar women from small towns and help them get clear on what they actually want with tools, habits, and a support system.  “If we want cool stuff to happen in our small towns someone has to stand up and do something different that's never been done before.” Emily loved teaching and surprised herself by leaving just two weeks before the start of a new school year. She worked as a program director at the YMCA and is so grateful for the experiences she had there. She found herself feeling burned out and had a sense of outgrowing the opportunities available to her and she set out on her own health journey. “I am a girl mom now and I need to figure out what it looks like to love myself into feeling better than I feel.” As part of her health journey Emily put together a Facebook group of family and friends to focus on habits. That grew into You Do You 82, her habit support community. Based on her own personal habits, she went from a non-runner to completing a half marathon in six months. “You don't always have to be reaching for more, just reach for intention” “A lot of times we look at more as accumulating accolades or accumulating material things or accumulating accomplishments and knowing that you're made for more is really like knowing you're made for more than just showing up and being a passenger in your life” Emily has been open about her mental health journey after she had a feeling of being surrounded by goodness but cracking from the inside out. She sought therapy and is honest about the hard work that comes with unpacking past traumas. “There is going to be lightness and goodness and freedom in digging in to the other side of this crap and getting on the other side.” “If we are the generation that's asking ‘am I feeling fulfilled' I think we are also the generation that says it's ok to get help when you know you need it” Books we mention The Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan Untamed by Glennon Doyle Connect with Emily Emily offers her You Do You 82 community for free.

It is really amazing what you can accomplish if you are willing to listen to your inner voice and follow where it takes you.  The concept of this "inner voice" can take you down a number of rabbit holes.  For me personally, I feel as though that voice is there to direct you to the reason you were put on this Earth.  In my case, I believe that it comes from God, either spoken to me in real time or implanted at birth to speak to me when the time is right. This "inner voice" is not magnificent in the sense that you are not going to become overwhelmed by a feeling or see something miraculous that leaves you with no doubt that the universe has a message for you.  It is much more subtle than that, and it can be difficult to hear.  It is one of those things that is always there, but you never notice it until you finally do.....and then it seems as obvious as the sunshine.  I don't know why it is not easier to detect, but I suspect it is that way so that you are compelled to make some effort to hear it.  What I know for sure, is that it is there for everyone.

#88 Carsten Mumm – Ein neuer Generationenvertrag

#WirSindDieKrise Wir müssen also an die Grundlagen ran. Zuallererst: Was ist Arbeit?
