Ritu is a 2x tech entrepreneur…Formerly the Founder & CEO of a digital healthcare start-up called Obino, a fitness junkie, and a person, who like most of us, loves junk food, especially Pringles! Ritu has chased corporate dreams, branched off, and decided to bloom & grow in the start-up world. She successfully exited her first start-up and is now driving her 2nd dream, an Emotion Ai initiative called TheLightbulb.ai…all this along with being a fitness junkie and a food freak like many of us. I got to know Ritu during my days with a leading Telecom operator in India where she was a colleague. Ritu started her career in IT Sales, switched to being a Radio Jockey & then moved on to a Telco Product role, after which she decided to start up in healthcare - with a digital weight-loss coaching app she called ObiNo (Say No to Obesity). She successfully exited that venture to US-based investors and has now started her new venture called TheLightbulb.AI – a unique full-stack Emotion Ai platform that uses visual & conversational ai to gauge user emotion & engagement in real-time for any digital interaction. Ritu is active on social media, especially in sharing her fitness journey, an online fitness journal so to speak. She also gives back to the startup ecosystem and extensively features in startup workshops and talks. On her path to fitness, she has found balance & joy! She indulges regularly and then sweats it out to earn that indulgence. There are no free lunches, my friends, and that's what I learned with a laugh and cheer with Ritu in this episode. Meet her in this podcast to learn how to love to live and live to love a life of health and joy!

Robb and Tim share their tactic of reducing the inflationary clause in exchange for time commitment driving a win/win for both parties. 13:04: New customer acquisition strategies and ensuring you are market-pricing are critical.  Leverage peer groups, trade shows, and market demographics to build pricing models.  Robb also mentioned asking for contracts "to ensure apples-to-apples comparisons to get market pricing.  They had an 80% success rate in looking at contracts.  16:04: We close by looking at how to goal yourself on customer acquisition.  Robb hits the fact...you need to prospect, prospect and prospect.

#DigitalTransformation #CIO #ChiefDigitalOfficerPhilip Morris International is going through a digital transformation and wants to become a digital leader. The large tobacco company, with over $76 billion in revenue, believes the industry cannot continue with its current business model. Instead, the company has embraced technology to drive efficiency and change how it develops and markets new products.Subscribe to the CXOTalk newsletter: https://www.cxotalk.com/subscribeRead the complete transcript: https://www.cxotalk.com/episode/digital-transformation-philip-morrisWe speak with Michael Voegele, the company's Chief Digital & Information Officer to explore the technology and business dimensions of this significant business transformation. In this role, he serves as both Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Officer. Here are key topics we discuss:-- About the CIO and Chief Digital Officer roles-- Culture change and change agents-- What are key skills that innovative CIOs must possess?-- Digital transformation and customer-centricity-- How to build a digital business?-- Using data to become customer-centric?-- Advice for Chief Information Officers-- Is the digital transformation journey ever complete?Michael Voegele became Chief Digital & Information Officer in March 2021. Mr. Voegele joined Philip Morris International in 2019 as Chief Technology Officer. Before joining PMI, he worked for Adidas from 2011 to 2018. There, he first served as Vice President, Group Functions, and Head of Enterprise Architecture and went on to become Senior Vice President, IT Sales. Since 2015, Mr. Voegele served as Global Chief Information Officer and was appointed to the core leadership team in January 2017.=========FROM THE EPISODE:Digital transformation and customer-centricityMichael Krigsman: Can you relate this back to PMI and to your work at PMI in terms of how you think about transformation and the connection back to customers and to the changes going on in society around you?Michael Voegele: The more internal classic things of looking at this, so how do we simplify our legacy world? How do we standardize around the processes and maybe adjust or change the way we have been doing things for many, many years? Then you talk about digitizing certain aspects of the business, but then also moving into automation, utilizing AI and ML to help us to do things more automated or even a better way in version and quality. Those things we can do in finance, you can do those things in P&C. You can do those things in the supply chain, in the manufacturing area. When we talk about, for instance, a very simple example in our manufacturing environments, the manufacturing of our products is very sensitive to climate change within the manufacturing environment. How do we use AI and ML to optimize the quality of our products by providing the right conditions via the HVAC in those factories? Very simple examples how technology can help us to produce better products in a way that we have never been able to do it before because we have been monitoring more manually and adjusting the air conditions and the air humidity. On the other side, with our smoke-free products, have now a little bit more freedom in the context of how we can create awareness about the category and the benefits of the category. Now we are moving, like many companies, more and more into a direct engagement with our consumers to show them the scientific substantiation behind it that our 500 scientists have created in our Neuchatel research facility. We can show them how it impacts their personal health. We can actually go into a one-to-one engagement personalized engagement with our consumers, to help them to do what is really difficult because it's actually a behavioral change in switching away and stopping to smoke. We can help them much better in a one-to-one way with the digital capabilities that we have today to go through that change with them.

Meet our guest today, Greg Yan! He has over six years in IT Sales and always had the goal of achieving the President's Club. Last January, he told his manager, “I'm going to get this. I've always wanted to do this. I promise you - I'm going to do this… and I did.” But it wasn't easy, and it wouldn't have been possible without Greg spending more time with a commitment to self; by learning to be an Entelechy Leader who continuously focused on always seeing his role in any obstacle, who made an effort to give back to his communities and put more effort into his relationships, even when he was too exhausted. He makes the hard choice to look inward when things aren't working quite right. Cultivating Integrity & Authenticity His background is filled with obstacles and challenges that have allowed him to shape a clear idea of what integrity, service to others, and being your true self means to him - and how to navigate all of life's obstacles while thriving. Greg has found that focusing on his integrity, being authentic and real with who he is, and being of service to his community cultivates success for himself every day. With the help of his life coach, https://www.linkedin.com/in/kirstingooldy/ (Kirstin Gooldy), he has become an https://www.pureentelechy.com/ (Entelechy Leader) in his professional and personal life - because success is so much more than making money. Learning to find the balance of all that life throws at you - the challenges, the successes, and all of the in-betweens - but doing it with integrity, honesty, and authenticity is the true key to success for Greg. Being True to Yourself to be successful As a Chinese American that immigrated with his family to America as a young boy to find the American Dream, as a gay man, and as a person diagnosed with ADHD, Greg has had many reasons to be unsure of who he is, to not know where he fits. As he mentions in this podcast, he didn't have a role model who looked like him [timestamp around 7min] - a sentiment that so many can relate to. While it didn't always feel like it, he now realizes that these obstacles were shaping who he was and helping him find success in all facets of life throughout adulthood. But how did a young man who lacked direction and understanding of himself and his passions learn to thrive in a successful relationship with his partner, all while achieving his goals in a highly competitive industry? Greg's journey started by looking inward. Before he could give back and do more for others and his career, he had to start by cultivating his own self-worth, discover his self-understanding, and find what integrity meant to him. That constant commitment to looking inside led to an intricate understanding of integrity - one that is centered in no longer conforming to what society deems he is. As Greg puts it, “That's one definition of integrity for me - just to be my true self.” Being honest with yourself and with others; committing to what you promise to do, and giving respect to others - all of these are pillars of Greg's personal integrity that permeates into his professional and personal success.  The key to being an Entelechy Leader is having a well-blended and balanced life for Greg. After spending time looking inward, Greg has found that focusing on being of service, giving back to those in need, and being an advocate for his community is what has led to most of his success and happiness today. Being able to cultivate stronger leadership skills through self-worth and understanding facilitated his ability to be of service to others. This stoked the passion in him to help discover his purpose in life - this key to success allowed all things to feel possible for him.  Key takeaways:This episode starts off with a conversation about what is happening in the US today to Asian Americans during the pandemic, and the systemic issues that are facing Asian Americans today. Greg mentions that, "...this is something I think about a lot... I

He also makes it effortless for them to promote the show by giving them social media assets, to share and links to their episode.    He is using his podcast to feed a revenue-producing product by siphoning the best content from his podcasts into a paid, 100 day self optimization program delivered via daily email which is complemented with rich, curated content that takes the customer on a journey. He also sees a book in the future.    Steve has purposefully gone slowly in pursuing monetization because he wanted to focus on the quality of the content.    Steve engages on social media to promote his show, and is considering running ads for the show via PodAds.    Steve is working on growing his community and you can be part of it by joining the AdapNation Community Facebook Group.    His biggest piece of advice for new podcasters: You have to know who you want as a listener, and how you will deliver to them continuous, real value.    Steve's theoretical podcast about his life: "Obsessive" Steve's Fantasy Podcasters: Nelson Mandela and Albert Einstein    You can find AdapNation wherever you listen to podcasts including Podbean. What a cracker of a discussion! In this Episode I am joined by Talent & Strengths Coach Kevin Thiele, founder of Salescode.co.uk and whose mission it to help manage high performance sales teams.  After I performed a Psychometric online assessment called CliftonStrengths, Kevin joined me to perform a live readout call of my report, where we bare all about my personality type - warts and all! This is a great chat, as it combines healthy debate with honesty, vulnerability, humour and an insanely accurate assessment of how we both show up as people in very different ways.   In actual fact, Kevin and I worked within the same industry and were aware of each other for many years. Both carved out a successful career in IT Sales, yet our talents are surprisingly different. How can two very different people play the same game and be successful at it? We explore this and much more in this fascinating discussion.    Here’s what you can expect to listen in on, with links to the Psychometric Assessment and links to Kevin’s online presence below: 1️⃣ Difference between Talents, Strengths, Skills and Weaknesses 2️⃣ Success comes from Excellence. Excellence and satisfaction comes from leveraging talents 3️⃣ You can be moderately successful without talent… but unlikely 4️⃣ What is Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment and how is it different? Calls out your Talents and where your strengths are assessed within 30mins.  5️⃣ Steve and Kevin sharing good and bad stories of their careers 6️⃣ Describing Steve’s TOP 5 Strength Themes, and how they can be Leveraged AND Abused 7️⃣ Steve's surprising lack of Relationship Building and Communication in his Top 5 8️⃣ Compassion vs Empathy - Can you develop compassion if your empathy is naturally low? 9️⃣ Accept yourself - your strengths and non strengths. As opposed to comparing yourself with others
